So if you’ve seen my pride drawing, you’ll know Zoey is Sapphic in my rewrite (because I mean, look at her). But that meant I had to do something about her ex-husband Gabriel. I could always do the “she never really loved him” thing, but I decided to shake it up and go with a classic “make it gay genderswap.”

So here we have Zoey’s ex-wife, Gabrielle.

I haven’t done an outfit based on a canon skin in a while, so this was a fun challenge even if I still deviated pretty significantly. I brightened up a lot of the colors, and of course the glowing markings to match my elf headcanons. I also intentionally made her contrast Zoey, so she has a stronger jaw and thicker eyebrows, plus the obvious blonde vs brunette dynamic.

Random facts:

Makes and embroiders her own clothes. She may be the leader but she’s still hands on

Facial reference was Rosario Dawson, it doesn’t look like her at all because I’m very face blind

Gets along well with Malachi while he stays in the forest, but also only refers to him as “abomination” due to the sapling thing

Is absolutely, 100% over Zoey. Definitely doesn’t lay awake at night thinking about what might have been. Nope, no lingering romantic tension at all /s

Everything but Castiel, that is. Dean clings to a death wish five miles wide after that. And he gets it, dying on a hunt. But the worst is yet to come when he wakes up and finds himself in the Empty. And he's not alone.

Excerpt: “I love you.” The memory replayed clear as a bell that time. More than Castiel’s death, his last three words haunted Dean like a restless spirit. And yet… that wasn’t it, either. The words themselves? Yeah, that tracked. Of course Castiel loved him. Duh and, or hello. No, what had left Dean feeling like the biggest asshole to have ever assholed had absolutely everything to do with the fact that, in Castiel’s most vulnerable moment of his entire existence, Dean had balked. “Don’t… don’t do this, Cas.” What a stupid fucking response. Who says that to someone as they’re carving their heart out of their chest and handing it over to you on a silver platter in a last-ditch effort to save your stupid fucking dumbass from your own stupid fucking dumbass plan? Dean. That’s who. He had to make it right… Dean opened his eyes and breathed. “I love you, too, Cas.” There. Done. Did he feel any better? Nope. Not really. Not at all, in fact. Castiel was still fuckin’ dead. Deader than a doornail. But he’d said it. And dammit all to hell, he’d meant it. That was all that mattered. He shoved the key in his pocket with a defeated grunt. At least Billie was dead, too. Gotta pick out the positives where he found them. Right? He’d keep telling himself that until he passed out at the bottom of another bottle. If he could find one. The walk back to his room passed in a blur. He swung the door closed, but never heard it latch. Not that it mattered. Nobody needed him, really. Sam and Jack were busy enough trying to find a solution to the real problem. He’d only slow them down. Dead weight.  Or just dead. If only. Eternal rest in Heaven sounded nice right about then. Reliving his favorite hits from his best cuts. No piece of shit monsters, no asshole demons, no dickbag angels…  That last thought brought him up short at the edge of his bed in a sudden rush of clarity. A Heaven of reruns sounded awful. He shuddered, gagging against that rancid taste rising in his throat again. A drink. One more ought to do the trick. Dean tore open the drawer in his bedside table and withdrew his flask. The cap spun with a practiced flick of his thumb and forefinger. Then he threw his head back and downed the entire thing. Yup. Close enough. The flask clattered on the nightstand as he dropped it and collapsed onto his bed. With his face buried in his pillow, he reached for his lamp, slapping haphazardly as he searched for the switch. If he ever found it, he couldn’t remember. But he must have. Oppressive darkness filled his room, and he closed his eyes, hoping he could at least sleep like the dead. Dead.  Castiel was dead. Again. And it was all Dean’s fault. It was the last coherent thought he had before he finally, blessedly, passed out.

recently I started watching pm Seymour’s videos and for a bit I was like “hey that voice sounds familiar” and “hey that name sounds familiar” nothing to big my brain makes stuff up sometimes so i ignored it

Then PM starts talking to the editor, Andy. And I thought “just like that one guy from a few years ago” right. Again, nothing too big.

THEN Andy plays a clip of himself. He’s British. No big deal there’s a lot of British people named Andy it’s probably just a coincidence that he sounds like that one guy.

weeks later, I finally watch the video pm has pinned on his YouTube page. There is a section along the lines of “ I may have voiced some of the characters from your childhood” AND THEN HE SHOWS FREAKING TRAVIS. YOU KNOW. FROM MYSTREET. THAT MINECRAFT ROLEPLAY THAT SMALL ME OBSESSED WITH . this conformed my suspicions

I DID recognize the name and the British guy named Andy WAS garroth, and holy shit EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED!

BUT THAT IS NOT ALL MY FRIENDS OHOHOH NOOOO

that would be too easy for this little girls sanity

I then started watching Andy’s videos oh his channel previously known as thedragonhat now known as Evildoerz for the dnd campaign that Andy dms, pm is in, ASWELL AS AMY (binoftrash; the person who make the high quality skins and art for mystreet and various other role plays that aphmau made) AND THE VOICE OF ZANE ( kesten) AND THE VOICE OF KC ( moeka )

so I’m definitely watch that campaign later and becoming obsessed with it only to never talk about it on here

BUT while serfing though Andy’s channel I come across THIS VIDEO ( I can’t find it sorry) and the Elsie Lovelock aka THE VOICE OF UZI is there so once again

ok while I was looking to find the video mentioned above I saw this video and thought “maybe was it that one” so I looked up Elsie on IMDb turns out she voiced Jennifer in MCD I didn’t know who that was and decided to look around the cast a bit.

I found SungWon voiced Gabriel who if I remember correctly is one of aphs adopted sons in diary’s

Feedback Fest 2024: 10 Fic Recs

It's been a while since I've done any kind of recs list post, so I thought I'd have a go at this. Instead of trying to pick just 10 fics as my favourites (Difficulty level: Impossible!), I decided to base it on which fics seem most overlooked, so I chose fics from my bookmarks that had under 500 kudos

Fandoms included: ATLA, SVSSS, MDZS, Watership Down, Star Wars, Good Omens, Untitled Goose Game All are complete, with a variety of ratings & themes (ranging from chill G to E with archive warnings)
