okay so you know that scene where after grogu was rescued and he was uncomfortable with all the new stuff and he was like "i can pretend until i can get back to the cruiser"- i GENUINELY thought he was gonna run away at some point and try to get back to gideon. i was surprised it never happened (i mean he DID run away but not to gideon iirc)

DUDE that part was insane yeah. If Grogu had the means, if he'd found a ship he would've totally climbed on and tried to pilot it. If anyone other than Din had found him, Grogu wouldve fought fr. Even though he did feel so much happier with Din, he didn't feel like that happiness was at all deserved yknow? Assets dont get nice things and all that
