Mrs Chichi constantly talks about the economic troubles of the Son family but as seen in much auxiliary material post Buu saga they actually seem fairly well off. Flat screen tv and absurdly spacious housing as we can see. How do we reconcile these two truths in our minds?

Is Mrs Chichi:

A) overspending? I do not necessarily like this vision because I think it paints an odd view of Chichi.

B) so used to the ridiculous wealth of her youth that she sees anything less as poverty?

C) commiting tax fraud?

D) keeping a fire lit under goku's ass by keeping up this risk of poverty?

E) is the economy of dbz earth simply fucked?

Perhaps I am missing something... so I turn to you and your Mrs Chichi understanding ways.

Ig for those curious, here are the weapons I think each dbz character ive drawn currently would use in the splatoon au thing I drew

Goku-

Krak on splat roller/splattershot (mainly rollers) He went through using alot of weapons before deciding on the krak on roller. He used to be very indecisive on what he wanted to use.

Vegeta-

Splat dualies (or any dualies in general, prefers using the enperry dualies) he likes being really aggressive, and using dualies help him achieve that. Depending on what he feels like doing, he will use different dualies. He hardly ever uses the dualie squelchers though.

Krillin-

Doesn't participate in turf wars as often anymore, but he often uses Luna blaster. He often did matches with goku as a duo, and would pick a weapon that would be good support for goku's. He also occasionally uses nzap. Plays more salmon run.

Chichi- also doesn't participate very much, but she was a good splatana wiper player. Plays any splatana. She used to be a competitive player, though played less and less after marrying goku. She still plays turf wars occasionally, more often when goku, or her children do.

Yamcha- local tentabrella user, 5 starred v tentabrella though is still figuring out how exactly to use it. He often changes weapons now bc he wants to find a cooler weapon to main.

Bulma- Ink brush player, prefers nouveau over v ink brush. She occasionally uses other brushes and took interest in learning splatanas.

Gohan- Heavy splating deco user. He sometimes plays rollers, but loves using splatlings alot more. Will play any he feels like, but the heavy deco is his favorite.

Trunks- 52 gal user. He uses any of the gal weapons, but occasionally uses dapple dualies if he feels like it.

Goten- splat roller user. He uses any rollers, but also is pretty good with squiffer. His goal is often to be as irritating as possible.

Tien- Splat charger user. He uses any charger, but prefers the regular splat charger.

Bardock- carbon roller deco user. His play style and quick and aggressive, and he often goes for front line weapons when he feels like doing something different. Often plays ranked/anarchy.

Gine- Undercover brella user. She often swaps between v undercover and undercover sorella brella. She'll use any other brella if she feels like it, and also occasionally uses e-liter. She also often plays ranked/anarchy.

King vegeta- Splat dualies user. He'll use any dualies, but prefers v splat dualies.

Raditz- Dynamo roller user. I just think this weapon would fit him. He's fond of heavy hitting weapons, though is still learning how to use them properly. Often swaps between the dynamos.

Turles- octobrush user. He's also grown pretty fond of using the painbrushes, often swapping between them. He's one of those toxic players that taunt after every kill and just mess with people in general. He's also a sore loser. Don't be like him kids

Frieza doesn't play in turf wars. If he DID though he'd use splatana stamper.

Broly(dbs) - heavy splatling user. He'll use any splatling, but heavy is the one he loves using the most. He's still new to turf wars, often playing anarchy with goku and vegeta as they show him the ropes.

Paragus- dualie squelchers user. He found teaching Broly to be frustrating. He was good at fighting and was strong, but he never really took to using the dualies like he had hoped. Man really wanted his son to like his main weapon

Mostly based off of my own headcanons n all that, there'll be more as I think of them but this post is already long enough. If you have questions about the au, feel free to ask!

Idk about the story yet, it's not gonna be 100% a reflection of dbz canon, cause all of it cannot be replicated into splatoon, not every aspect of dbz or dbs will be incorporated either, that'd be alot lmao

I'll also be deviating from splatoon canon n all that as well, just a little tho ^^

Timelines part 2: DBS.

Continuing from this

Continuing from the previous Timeline 3:

Babidi arrives with Dabura, Trunks gets basic training by Shin and Kibito, who both die against Dabura, but Trunks kills Dabura and Babidi so no Buu (but the egg is still there...)

A few years later, "Goku Black" (D) arrives, recruits the local Zamasu (C ), and they do the thing.

Trunks flees to the past (to Timeline 5, our original canon main timeline). Depending on whether you follow Manga or Anime continuities there's 2 or 3 back and forths.

Trunks, Goku (E) and Vegeta (E) come back, deal with Zamasu (C ) and Goku Black (D), and Zeno (C ) yeets that timeline.

Timeline 4:

This is Main Timeline until the end of the Universe 6 stuff.

Zamasu (D), after seeing the Universe 6 stuff, kills Goten and Chichi after stealing Goku's body. He becomes Goku Black (D)

Knowing Beerus would get on his ass if he stayed, "Goku Black" flees across time and space to find a timeline where there's no Beerus: the Future Timeline (because Shin died in the Dabura/Babidi situation).

We don't know what happens after that in this timeline. Chichi (D) and Goten (D) are rezed and Goku (D), in Zamasu's body, is confused af lol? That TOP sounds interesting though. (There’s conflicting info about whether Zamasu in Goku’s body killed Goku in Zamasu’s body, the manga and anime differ quite a bit).

Timeline 5:

Trunks (C ) arrives after the Universe 6 stuff, creating a divergence for Timeline 4 because of his "warning against the future threat" (tho he doesn't know it actually comes from the main timeline)

Beerus and co deal with the local Zamasu (E) (might as well now that they know about it!)

After dealing with the threat in Timeline 3, Goku (E), Vegeta (E) and Trunks (C ) come back with Zeno (C ). TOP and co go on as usual, then Moro, Granolah, DBSSH, etc.

Timeline 6:

Using the time rings, Beerus (C ) goes to a previous point in the Timeline 3 (to universe 10) and seals immortal Zamasu (F). His intervention creates another Future Timeline: timeline 6.

Trunks (C ) and Mai (C ) travel to a pre-Dabura/Babidi version of this Timeline and "start over" by making sure Shin (F) and Beerus (F) don't die in that Timeline. But there's two Trunkses and two Mais (C and F) in this timeline.

So in we have these timelines:

Timeline 1 (Forgotten Timeline): Trunks killed by Cell, only Bulma remains, probably destroyed by Babidi/Buu?

Timeline 2 (Lost Timeline): A timeline in which the Androids were dealt with in the Android Saga, but Cell didn't appear. Goku didn't die of the virus nor by Cell's explosion, so... all bets are off.

Timeline 3 (Future Timeline): A timeline that was erased by Zeno.

Timeline 4 (Confused Timeline): All of Z and all of DBS until Universe 6 is identical. the native Zamasu stole Goku's body from this timeline and fled to Timeline 3. We have no idea what happened there, afterwards.

Timeline 5 (Main DBS Timeline): What we read/watch in DBS; this Timeline is the same as the previous one except Trunks (from Timeline 3) came back and that landing created a divergence from timeline 4.

Timeline 6 (Clone Timeline / pair of trunks timeline if you prefer lol): this Timeline is created by Beerus from Timeline 5 when he decides to go with the Time Ring to deal with a future version of Zamasu (the Immortal one, not the Goku Black one). It creates a mirror version of Timeline 3, pre-shitstorm. This is the Timeline Trunks and Mai travel to, but they actually chose to arrive before the Babidi situation so Beerus and Shin don't die in that timeline.

FOR THE GOCHI WRITERS ON DUTY: I've been thinking about the idea of Chichi opening a restaurant, because in addition to earning money, he's going to do what he knows best. And as the restaurant runs, a young apprentice at this restaurant begins to develop feelings for her, as he observes her strong and decisive way, teaching and indoctrinating him. As if he were some kind of student in love with gastronomy. But he is shattered when he learns that she is married. It would be nice for her restaurant to also be a place that the Z gang is frequented by. Mainly Goku, of course. Bills, Whis and etc. And Chi-Chi doesn't notice the boy's crush on her at all. Precisely that maybe she is a little innocent in that aspect. Now whether Goku realizes it or not, I think I would leave it to the author🤭 it could be, but maybe nothing too oc? I would love to see this kind of plot in a good gochi fanfic. A one shot maybe, I just know it would be great🥰

I don't think this would need to be AU. I can see this happening in the canon universe perfectly.

A/N: okay so I don't usually write angst but I honestly love this plot so yeah here you go.

Tutto era successo troppo in fretta, l'incidente, il ricovero, i medici, non stavi capendo nulla. Sapevi solo che non ricordavi minimamente chi fossero le persone che vidi accanto a te quando apristi per la prima volta gli occhi dopo 2 mesi di coma.

La luce della lampada ti abbagliò gli occhi, così una mano si allungò e la spende, e appena riuscisti a vedere, ti accorsi che era un'uomo molto alto, muscoloso, con delle spalle enormi, tre occhi e calvo, con accanto un..esserino blu, simile ad un puffo,ma un po' più alto e azzurro invece di blu.

"C-chi siete..? Cosa..mi è successo?" Domandasti tu, avevi perso completamente la memoria, l'unica cosa che ricordavi, era una macchina, eri seduta sui sedili posteriori, vicino allo stesso uomo con tre occhi,che tra tutti sembrava essere il più preoccupato, poi accanto a voi c'era un'uomo basso e calvo,che stava in braccio ad un tizio con i capelli neri e qualche cicatrice in faccia. Alla guida c'era una donna dai capelli blu, e sul sedile passeggero un'uomo dalla faccia da stronzo e i capelli neri a punta.

Tutta via, ricordavi solo il loro aspetto e non i loro nomi. L'uomo dai capelli neri e le cicatrici si affrettò a rispondere alle tue domande "..Ma come (t/n)? Siamo i tuoi amici ricordi? Siamo partiti per fare un giro in auto ma per via di Vegeta che continuava a gridare contro Bulma distraendola lei ha preso una brutta curva e abbiamo fatto un'incidente." Immediatamente I tuoi occhi cercarono di identificare tra tutti loro Vegeta, dato che le gridava contro eri sicura che fosse quello sul sedile passeggero, e infatti era lui.

"Che cazzo volete?! Quella lì continuava a rompere!" Disse lui con rabbia, "Minchia che bastardo." Pensasti, Bulma aggiunse "Okay incazzarti, ma potevi evitare di ammazzarci tutti sai?" Quindi era colpa di quel Vegeta, ma ora dovevi capire chi erano gli altri. Tra tutti loro c'era l'uomo dai tre occhi, stava seduto sulla sua sedia, prima era più vicina al tuo letto, ma ora si era allontanato e ti dava le spalle, non capivi perché, non avevi idea di cosa fosse successo tra te e lui prima di quell'incidente.

Bulma notò che avevi lo sguardo fisso nella sua direzione e disse "Beh..se non ricordi chi siamo, ti dico i nostri nomi." Tu annuisti, concentrandoti ancora su quel poco di memoria che avevi, cercando di ricordarli. Bulma indicò l'uomo con la cicatrice "Lui è Yamcha, e quello che ha in braccio è Pual, il suo gatto." Lo guardasti con più attenzione e solo ora ti accorsi che aveva un gatto blu in braccio.

Subito dopo indicò un'uomo coi capelli a punta simili a Vegeta, e una donna accanto a lei, "Loro sono Goku e ChiChi, quello in braccio a ChiChi è il piccolo Gohan." Loro erano quelli di cui ricordavi di meno, dato che non erano nella macchina durante l'incidente, infatti non avevano lividi o ferite, Yamcha, Bulma, Vegeta e quell'uomo avevano tutti qualche benda sul corpo e dei lividi.

Infine, Bulma indicò verso quell'uomo che ti dava le spalle da quando avevi chiesto chi fossero, e disse "Lui è Tensing, il piccolino vicino a lui è Rif." Ecco come si chiamava, ora però dovevi capire che aveva e perché ti dava le spalle. Bulma sospiró e aggiunse "Diciamo che ci è rimasto un po' male che ti sei scordata tutto di lui, eravate molto..legati." fu esitante nell'ultima parola, da come e cosa diceva eri riuscita a capire che tu e questo Tensing eravate quasi fidanzati.

Yamcha si accorse di come guardavi solo e soltanto Tensing e disse "Ragazzi usciamo, lasciamoli soli." Per una volta se ne andava al momento giusto. Tutti uscirono dalla stanza tranne Tensing, che finalmente si girò verso di te, aveva gli occhi rossi, come se avesse pianto. Sospirò e ti chiede "A quanto vedo hai dimenticato anche il mio nome..vero?' non sapendo cosa rispondere annuisti, lui si alzò, si avvicinò a te e ti prese le mani nelle sue, poi disse "Il passato è distrutto, ma costruiremo un nuovo futuro." Poi, si chinò e ti bació la guancia.

La sensazione che ti lasció quel bacio era unica,così bella, ne volevi ancora, ma ti vergognavi di chiedergliene. Era sul punto di dire qualcos'altro, ma un'infermiera entrò e disse "Mi scusi signor Tensing ma le visite sono terminate." Lui si alzò, un po'triste ma cercando di nasconderlo e disse "Alla prossima, cara (t/n)." Poi se ne andò.

Era vero, non ricordavi nulla di lui, però la sensazione che ti aveva dato quel bacio, ti aveva invogliata a voler costruite con lui tutto da capo.

hj não é um dia especial pra eu estar vindo aqui escrever um texto, a gente nem brigou kk, também não é o dia que a gente se conheceu e acho que não vai ser a nossa data de namoro. mais se for, melhor ainda..

Spoiler do Mangá de Capitulo 71 de Dragon Ball Super

Depois de um longo tempo de treinamento no planeta de Beerus (Bills na tradução), Goku e Vegeta são interrompidos por Whis que recebe uma chamada de Bulma e Chichi.

Na chamada Bulma diz que aliens estão procurando pelos dois, para que pudessem se livrar de um vilão que ameaça destruir o seu planeta.

Enquanto Goku e Vegeta viajam para o planeta Cereal, Oil e Maki, se comunicam com Granola dizendo que os dois sayajins que estão indo para o planeta são membros do exército de Freeza.

Fazendo com que ambos os lados sejam manipulados para o bem da raça dos Hita.

O mangá finaliza com Goku comendo e Vegeta treinando na nave enquanto Granola voa para fora de sua nave jurando vigança contra os sayajins, exército de freeza.

when I started shipping it if I did: well i knew they were together before i ever even really got into the series, but i don’t remember when i personally started thinking it was cute. probably while watching the abridged series lol

my thoughts: the ship itself is fine but i can’t say i’m always fond of the fandom

What makes me happy about them: they clearly love each other and have a happy relationship

What makes me sad about them: ....sometimes it kinda feels like bulma sees vegeta as “human lite” or w/e. i feel like she doesn’t seem to care about where he’s coming from, and i sometimes get the impression that she doesn’t want to think about him being an alien. on top of that, vegeta’s not a particularly stable person and has endangered his family multiple times, seemingly with little consequence. they’re both self-centered people, and while that’s part of what makes them work, it’s also a very dangerous thing. it doesn’t seem like they’re good at setting boundaries with one another. they need counseling and it’s sad that they probably won’t get it.

things done in fanfic that annoys me: YAMCHA BASHING.

things I look for in fanfic: cultural clashes and resolving poor communication. also stories where the trauma of being a child soldier is addressed, but that’s less about the ship itself

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: yamcha (for either of them), goku or raditz (for vegeta), chichi or launch (for bulma)

My happily ever after for them: therapy. or, after they’re dead, bulma visiting vegeta in hell (he’s still going there don’t @ me no amount of saving the earth makes up for genocide) and beating the shit out of frieza with him.

who is the big spoon/little spoon: bulma is the big spoon, vegeta is the little spoon (partly bc that’s how it is and partly because it’s not safe for vegeta to hold bulma while asleep - he’s much, much stronger than her, and one nightmare could lead to him accidentally hurting her)

what is their favorite non-sexual activity: arguing

My unpopular opinion about this character: honestly? i don’t think gohan resents his dad as much as fanfic would imply. i do think he’s had moments of resentment, but i feel that it’s more likely he resents himself for any bitterness he feels towards goku.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: kinda wish his relationship with vegeta had gotten explored more. they’ve got a lot in common.
