Here is a snippet of Macaque and Wukong making up after Wukong and his circus burnt to the ground because Wukong never had enough. With a sprinkle of MK and Red Son's rewrite the stars romance~

Additionally at the end there is the full plot details that I unfortunately don't have time to expand on but I want to give the idea to the fandom.

Imagine being in a greatest showman marauders AU, with Sirius Orion Black coming from a well-known, regal family, a long line of money, and a reputation to uphold. only for him to fall in love with a trapeze artist and be so convinced she is to be his everything and to be so prepared to do whatever he can to make her happy and imagine being her, imagine teaching him trapeze tricks and the first meet and oh my god.

A Stranger Things The Greatest Showman AU that I wrote up very quickly because I just watched the movie:

Quick warning: there are a lot of mentions of scars from burns

Steve Harrington has always been someone that people gawked at. Every since he was trapped in a burning building, lost among the rubble and flames, he had been stared at. First it was the bandages catching everyone's eyes, covering his arms, his back, and his torso, unable to be hidden under clothes, but then, as the flesh under them healed and the bandages could be removed, it was the scars. They were nearly white against his light pink skin, some of them too visible on his hands and neck to be hidden at all, no matter how many layers of clothes he wore.

No one got used to it, no one could see past the skin to see the man underneath it all. People still stared at him like his scars defined him. But, it wasn't like it wasn't staring them in the face; he could never cover the scar on his head.

It was a large blotch of pinkish-white skin right above his right eyebrow, traveling up his forehead, and eventually tucking under his hair. Visible. Noticeable. The first and only thing people ever saw.

It stopped him from finding love. It stopped him from working at banks, at schools, in any respectable business'. It shopped him from being around his family, as they had disowned him. He was alone.

Steve could never understand how his physical appearance could change so much about him, make people hate him so much, yet it was something that he had learned to accept.

But that was until he saw the poster. A poster saying that someone wanted strange people like him, someone strange, someone different, for some sort of show.

Steve couldn't believe it. Someone actually wanted him? He knew that it could just be a ploy to be laughed at, but why shouldn't he give it a go? It was a job, and he would happily take it. A part of him was happy to know that he was wanted though, despite the reason why. It had been too long since someone wanted him, and even longer that someone wanted someone with scars such as his to be seen beside them.

He got the job instantly, and, unlike existing in the world that surrounded him, he was meant to show off his scars here. He would show them off, never hide who he was, being proud of the scars on his skin, showing what he survived. He found himself slowly liking himself again, too. The crowd was there to see him with his scars, only there for his scars, but little by little he felt himself grow proud of who he was on the inside, too. He soon found his worth, a worth that had burned in that fire long ago but had been reborn. It was a great feeling.

He was more than the scars that everyone saw in him. He was stronger than the stereotypes. He was stronger than what everyone thought of him, and he wasn't alone.

There were a lot of people who liked him, who liked the man under the scars. A lot of people like him.

There was Eddie, a firebreather who was covered head to toe in tattoos, who wore them without shame. Robin, a girl with more flexibility than Steve thought possible, a girl who Steve knew instantly would be his best friend. Dustin, who was missing bones but never forgot to have a smile on his face, and so, so many more.

These people became his friends, his family. They reminded him of his worth. They reminded him that he was more than his scars. That he was who he was meant to be, despite the scars on his skin.

Even when things got bad, Steve knew that nothing could separate them from each other. And Steve knew that, despite the scars on his skin, he finally, finally, had found a place to belong.

I don’t know why, but this gif gave me serious Huntlow vibes just now...

Maybe it’s because Hunter is a well-known member of the high society/coven, and he ends up falling for Willow, who is considered a freak/half-a-witch among some of her peers. He eventually finds a lot in common with those of the lower class/coven, and starts to fight alongside them against the masses. Idk, anybody else see a potential AU with Huntlow as Philip Carlyle and Anne Wheeler?

I mean, it could go further with Luz being P.T. Barnum trying to recruit Hunter/Philip? Thoughts?

and then mk can be phillip and with macaque and redson as the trapeze artists they can each be with wukong and mk ehhfhehhehe DONT THINK ABT THE PLOT IN TOO MUCH DETAIL but somehow it works?? imo??

guys yesterday I re-watched The Greatest Showman and I had to draw a Good Omens AU, the hospital scene, and I imagined it at the end of season 3 (after the Second Coming) when Aziraphale woke up after the battle and the first thing he sees is Crowley😭❤️ I CAN'T PLEASE STOP ME

The first meeting in years, It was not very nice one.

Wukong feels betrayed, he was being kept as a dangerous animal while Macaque the love of his life was having the best time ever far away from him. And... He never saw him this happy in a long, long time...He couldn’t remember last time he saw Macaque having so much energy, Was it his fault? Did Macaque never felt happy around him? Was he really that unhappy in the mountain?

Meanwhile, Liu’er feels conflicted. He hasn’t heard anything about Wukong for YEARS, after the fight he tough Wukong would never want to speak to him again, and even when he came back to the mountain only to find it in ruins, the only thought in his mind was: Is Wukong okay? Where is he? Will he come back?

And now he is back, and Liu’er can only feel the trapeze slipping from his grasp  while trying to find the words, to say something, anything to him- 

then a scream... and everything went black

I believe someone ask me to do this specific scene of the movie but i don’t remember who, anyway HERE is the speedpaint

Rewrite the Stars

Nevermind, I got it, crisis averted Warnings: none! WC: 0.9 k Sirius Orion Black was many things. A rumored playboy, a socialite, and an elite member of society, he had people tripping over themselves to be caught in the same room as him. He was the prince of princes in high society, a well-known name, and good looks to boot, not to mention the boy was a brilliant businessman and was the pride of his parent’s strict expectations. He’d gone to a bar after a long night of socializing with people who wanted nothing more than to use his social standing for their own gain, for their own status, what he wasn’t expecting was to meet a man. That man was named James Potter, he said “You’re an incredible businessman, you’re an even better salesperson.” Sirius knew this, he couldn’t stand this sort of talk, so he’d responded casually with, “Look, James, was it? I appreciate the offer, but I don’t pick up peanuts. I admire your show, talent, and vigor, but I’m content with my life now.” And James had countered quickly, his mind coming up with a response faster than anybody in high society’s brains could even dream to work. “Are you content, or do you not know anything else, Mr. Black?”, and that stuck with him, but Sirius Black was as good a businessman as James Potter said he was, so they needed to reach a consensus, he wouldn’t offer his help for free. And a consensus they did reach.

It was a few days later when Sirius was introduced to his first show at the Circus, he stumbled around wildly, a bit overwhelmed by the colors and the sounds. He felt as if he could breathe and he’d inhale joy and life, sure it smelled of peanuts and sweat, but it was the most soul he’d seen in one place in a long while, the plays he produced were nothing short of bland in comparison to the majesty, and chaos of the circus. He remembered being introduced to different people and acts, each with a smile that they couldn’t help. He remembers hearing lilting voices and coy arguments, remembers seeing costumes and people doing run-throughs of their acts, he remembers it all. But Sirius Black could not forget the first time he saw you. You were in the air, a pleased smile on your face as you swung on the trapeze like it was easy, as if it weren’t something that would scare most grown men. He remembers making eye contact briefly as you swung high enough to see him standing next to James Potter, as your eyes burned holes into his soul, as the color of them suddenly became his new favorite color. He suddenly felt like Icarus, you were his Sun, he was enamored and he’d never spoken a word to you. He could have stayed up there watching you perform and smile and swing for as long as you went on, but that would look odd, for the son of high society to be in love with the girl on the trapeze of the up-and-coming circus, wouldn’t it? He’d stayed there with James for a few more minutes, to watch, to pretend like he was observing from a business perspective when in reality he was so hooked on your movements and smile there was nothing else to do. James escorted him back down behind the curtain with everybody else, and you appeared a few minutes later, James had called you over and your name was burned into Sirius’s mind, so he plastered on a flirtatious smile, shook your hand, did everything he figured was right. Your voice was as soft as a sunrise but as sure as the sun itself when you spoke and when you asked him, “So, Mr. Black, what’s your act?” and he had told you, “Well, I don’t have an act.”, and had blinked like a buffoon while doing so, looking a bit confused, he was so sure he looked pitiful. But you laughed, and it was so lovely he aspired to recreate the sound again, and you told him, “Everybody has an act, Mr. Black, maybe you just need to find yours out, hm?”

So he’d come back, so many days he’d lost count, he’d spoken to you more, and he’d figured that if anything he should go to see you. Sirius had adopted his role of businessman quite easily, and when he had found a way to introduce the circus to high society, you had seemed so excited knowing that otherwise you would never even be allowed to go. Your smile was contagious but you’d suddenly gone sullen and it struck his heart like a caged bird, you had seemed so pleased before what had happened? And when your voice came out of your mouth, sounding a little bit scared of the answer, when you’d asked if they were all permitted to go, he hadn’t properly thought it through, all he knew is that he needed to make sure that you stopped looking like that, that you stopped looking so hurt and scared when he’d responded, “Either we will all go, or none of us go, Love.” and with the admission of that out into the world, into the air, you had been spun around in a hug by one of your coworkers before you’d gone to him, hugging him tight and murmuring thank you’s.

If he was Icarus, he was infinitely sure that you were his Sun, his Star.

OMG hello!! I cannot tell you how happy I was to get this ask-

Greatest Showman AU!!!! Of course!! It has been a long time since I talked about this au, and there's.......different routes for the au if that makes sense.

So to start off, if it isn't clear, most of my aus are made bc of me listening to music or musical songs/film music, and this leads to this sort of thing happening-

I made this au bc I watched the film and said "what if I drew my fav ships as the different songs?"........I still have the sketches for these that I want to finish one day-

It is a mostly Edgejeanist and Ectoloader focused au!!! (with a dash of some others)

(forgive me for my lack of knowledge on terminology and also for completely forgetting everyone's names /lh)

Main AU:

So basically follows the storyline for the most part!

Ectoloader are the married couple bc what kinda au would this be if I didn't make them a married couple /lh

They had the whole Childhood Friends -> Lovers things and do Circus Things together - they own the circus

Ecto did tightrope acts and I haven't figured out pl yet tbh-

Edgeshot is a Trapeze artist.

Jeanist is the guy that gets dragged into the circus by Ecto and they have that lovely Moment(tm)

Mic is the guy who gets the crowd all worked up, Aizawa does trapeze and that ribbon-y stuff- (lord help me i do not know terminology)

Cue romance and Circus Shenanigans between everyone!

Plenty of injury moments and fantastic performing stuff!

Shinya and Tsunagu get to have their 'Rewrite the Stars' Moment!

Ecto goes away to tour with Snipe! (nothing like the musical, just goin on a lil fun trip with a friend)!! Circus goes to shit!

FIRE SCENE!!!

Jeanist runs in to save Shinya, who was already out, who now runs in to save him- Tsunagu is very hurt.

Ecto loses his legs in the accident (suggested by an anon a while back and i really loved it)

Mic gets stuck, Aizawa rescues him!

Angst and Comfort ensue!!!

Not a lot of thought apart from "this is fun to imagine the characters playing as.....the characters..from the musical..."

yeahhh

And for fun, here is the "just here for the music" route:

All pro hero characters are kinda putting on a show, and these songs are being performed by certain characters.

(i have a big hc that Jeanist, Ectoplasm and Nighteye are besties... they're called 'The Distinguished Gays'...)

So the song 'The Other Side' just went perfectly imagining Ecto convincing Jeans to join him while Nighteye tended to the bar......idk its so fun to imagine in time to the music-

'Come alive' is Aizawa and his students

'The Greatest show' is All the teachers and their students and some of the ua alumni popping up and making appearances!

And finally 'This is me' is absolutely everyone, and they get to have their cool moments and show off themselves and idk that song makes me feel things.

I often imagine the canon universe characters acting/voice acting in musicals for fun so yeah lol
