Only real 2000s kids remember that episode of Lilo and Stitch: The Series where it was an Armageddon parody and everyone went up into space to destroy an asteroid.

I bring it up because the one human Lilo was able to convince to escape earth was this random drifter on the beach who came because Lilo told him they'd have pizza on their space ride out of earth.

None of that's the weird part. The series established that everyone in Kauai somehow just believes Stitch and the cousins are just animals despite clearly not being earthly cus they're either dumb or 420blazeit tourists. That's fine.

The weird part is that he apparently stuck around after the threat was over and hung out unannounced in the Pelekai's house, ready to crash their family time and eat the pizza Nani was ordering for their family, not him.

In all seriousness, this guy fascinates me. He was just hanging on the beach when this little girl came up to him with a flier telling him the world was going to end and that he should come onto her space ship she just had with her because they had pizza. Clearly this man had recently liberated himself from the MLM/LovehasOne-type doomsday cult that brought him to Kauai in the first place. I'm pretty sure that's why boundaries don't matter to him.

Also I think he appeared more than once after this but I can't be sure.

This took me a million years to get back to but I need you to understand anon it's been front and center in my brain sense I got it here comes a lot of no thoughts:

He wouldn't get it, I don't think. Not at first, and probably not ever fully, or as fully as he would like. He's gonna make a lot of mistakes because he just Does Not Know, he's old and this is new but if it's for you he's doing his best promise.

He gets parts of it, when he gets home and your in the floor chewing on something or other or eating treats or really just chilling he understands that's different, that's special, that's your little animal side just being you, and he'll do his best to keep up.

You could explain it seventeen times to him and he'll still react like it's a new thing every time and panic a little.

He has a bad habit of panic purchasing things so expect a lot of pet products in the mail he bought in bulk. Probably stuff you don't need as a regressor and not an actual animal, too.

He's doing his best to do his own research, too. Catch him during work squinting unbearably hard at some cutesy pastel blog trying so very hard to read the damn thing but white on cloud pink does not make for very legible when you have bad eye sight!!

At the end of the day, he's doing his best, and he'll adapt to whatever you throw at him. He loves you, every side of you, every facet and detail, and he'll do his very best to keep you happy and safe.
