RGCUBE. no joke, this is my dream handheld gaming console. it has a touchscreen. square screen. it's small. it can play up to wii. it has rgb lighting.

I haven't played Pokémon in a long while, so on February 22nd, 2025 ,I decided to pick up my copy of Pokémon Black and try for a shiny starter so I could begin a new journey on one of my favorite gens.

Of course, I had to choose the cutie patootie Oshawott to go for and, after 1715 soft resets, I got it today!

I never thought it would be so rewarding to get a shiny after hours and days of endless resetting, smashing the same buttons, and viewing the same cutscenes over and over again~

Am I thinking of which one to shiny hunt next? Obviously.

Out of curiosity, which was the first pokémon you decided to start hunting, and which gen you did it in? I'd love to know!

My O3DSxl (left) and New 3DSxl (right). I've had these both for a couple of years. The old 3ds is a hand me down, and the new 3ds is one I bought second hand for about 50 quid. I've modded them both, but I mainly use the old 3ds mainly just because it's the one I'm most attached to. I mainly use the New 3Ds as a PS1 emulator since the O3ds can't emulate ps1. I'm saving up to get a refurbished PS Vita for Christmas =)

Xyr really sassy and sarcastic, and xe feels a bit fuzzy to talk to because xyr memory has been wiped over and over. We'll struggle with amnesia together, we're one and the same there <3
