If you want to see Earl in London right now but can't... this video is the best quality overall that features him, and Rachel Barrell is a fantastic Christine - one of my favorites in the role.

Gary Mauer, Elizabeth Southard, Jim Weitzer, Kim Stengel,
John Jellison, DC Anderson, Patti Davidson-Gorbea, Kate Wray, John Whitney
April 6, 2006; Dallas

For my Eristine moots (I see you!): Gary Mauer and Elizabeth Southard were (and as far as I know, still are) married while performing as the Phantom and Christine, and you thought Ramin and Sierra's chemistry was off the charts, think again.

Anthony Crivello, Kristi Holden, Andrew Ragone, Geena Jeffries Mattox, John Leslie Wolfe, Lawson Skala, Tina Walsh, Brianne Kelly Morgan, Larry Wayne Morbitt
August 8, 2008; Las Vegas
VOB format.
This is the Las Vegas Spectacular production, which is abriged compared to the original but totally worth seeing. If you want to understand why I love Meg Giry so much, Brianne Kelly Morgan is one of the best I've ever seen in the role. Also, if you’re meh about Raoul... with Andrew Ragone, think again. He’s one of the most Superman/Clark Kent Raouls I’ve seen. And I really like Kristi Holden’s Leroux-esque Christine too.

Jeremy Stolle (u/s), Samantha Hill, Greg Mills (u/s), Michele McConnell, Tim Jerome, Richard Poole (u/s), Ellen Harvey, Kara Klein, Christian Sebek
March 9, 2013

Missing part of Act 1 (‘Stranger Than You Dreamt It’ to Il Muto), but otherwise complete. This is one of the best trios I've seen on Broadway, and Samantha Hill is just a fantastic Christine overall.

Pretty sure this isn't on Spotify, which is a real shame given its cast. So enjoy! EDIT: Someone pointed out to me that the recording is incomplete - probably a result of the Great Hardware Crash of 2016, so until I get the full version, this will probably stay incomplete. Sorry about that!

He didn’t know if he should find it endearing or strange, but Nicole looked minuscule within her uncles’ hold. She could literally sit on Guillermo’s palm and stay there without much issue.
Guillermo held her with a gentle strength, his large hands cradling her securely. He said nothing, his eyes were on Rooster and both him and his brothers stared at him, “What?’
“You look terrifying.”Michael laughs, “Holding a tiny baby and looking like you could snap someone’s neck if they dare step a few feet closer to her.”
Nicole gurgled in response, she was entirely at ease in Guillermo's arms, as if she knew she was safe and cherished. And unaware of her uncle’s comment, “...so?”
Leonardo is the one that breaks the conversation before it gets too much, looking back at Rooster, almost pleading for him to continue, “So! Uh, what uh, made you invite us over tonight? You said something about…your new neighbors?”
He took a deep breath and started to explain. "So, yeah, I invited you all here tonight to talk about our new neighbors. They've moved in next door, and I've had a few interactions with them. I thought it would be a good idea to get your opinions and possibly some advice."
Guillermo's expression remained stoic, but he nodded for Rooster to continue. "I'm listening, Rooster."
“Creepy.”
‘Shut up.”
Rooster hesitated for a moment, choosing his words carefully. "Our new neighbors are a couple— Mark and Miranda. I work with Mark.” he mutters, tapping his thumbs together, “We…well, they are…weird. They try, they appear to try too hard to befriend us. We even had dinner with them at Oda.”
“Oda?” Michael whistles low, “Damn,I don’t even take Hannah there, that place is expensive.”
“Well, me and Bea went there before we met them,” he ignored Michael’s shocked what! and continued, “But this time, the Haltons invited us and let me tell you it was…” he shakes his head, a bewildered look on his face, “It was messy.”
Michael had an incredulous look on his face as he processed the information. "Wait, wait, hoooooold on. You went to Oda with these new neighbors? Those guys must be loaded or something."
His brothers just looked at him weirdly, “Didn’t you hear what Rooster just said?” Leonardo asks, “They’ve been there before, Mike.”
“Michael, be quiet.” Guillermo mutters, earning a glare from his younger brother, who just huffed and crossed his arms. “Go on,Rooster.”
Rooster rubbed his temples, trying to find the right words to describe the awkward encounter. "Well, it was just…how do I put this," he pauses, “It was like they were trying to befriend us by making us feel like we’d never be part of such group. They mentioned the wine, they mentioned the food, the whole place and so on.”
Guillermo's brows furrowed as he processed the information. "So, they invited you to an expensive restaurant, showed off their wealth, and tried to make you feel like outsiders?"
Rooster nodded, leaning back on his chair "That's pretty much it. It felt like they were putting on a show, and we were the audience. It was as if they were trying to impress us or make us feel inferior."
Michael sipped his soda with a thoughtful expression on his face. "Wow, that's...something. I've met some rich folks before, but they usually don't go to such lengths to show off. What's their deal?"
Leonardo, as always, kept his emotions in check, his thoughtful expression never wavering. "Rooster, did they mention any specific reason for their behavior? Perhaps they have a motive for trying so hard to befriend you."
The pilot ran a hand through his hair, his frustration evident. "Not that I could tell? They kept saying they wanted to get to know us better, It was all...fake." he smirks slowly, “But…I think the best part out of this was…that Beatrice talked back to Miranda and it was…” he clears his throat, he didn’t need his brothers-in-law to know how much he loved when Beatrice was like that, nor how attractive he found her. “She…she talked to Miranda, slapped some truths on her face and made both of them shut up.”
And then something else happened later but he’d NEVER share that, of course. He just had to hide the pleased little grin by covering his mouth with his hand, putting on a pensive act, “And since then, I dunno, Mark hasn’t talked to me directly, but he’s talking to some of the recruits that were with me in the last mission.”
Guillermo's stern expression softened for the tiniest bit before the stoic mask returned, “She was always like that.” he mutters while helping Nicole stand straight on his knee, holding her tiny hands to balance her on his leg, “She was always a strong little lady.”
“Yeah,”Michael scoffs, ‘You did show it often,” his sarcasm wasn’t missed by the other men and Guillermo gave her a warning glare, he better not continue with this conversation, “I mean,Jesus, calling her little lady? She’d beat you to the ground….Gui.”
Before his brothers got into a death match,Leonardo laughed nervously, “Guys!! Guyyss, um, how about we hear more? Of the story? Please? No deaths here right now, think of Nikki,” his niece just gurgled happily, bouncing on Guillermo’s leg, “She’d…be very traumatized and so would I– anyway Rooster please go on.”
While the tension between the brothers was obvious, Rooster walks around the table to stand in front of both Michael and Guillermo, cutting their glaring short, “Miranda went to the Hard Deck a few days ago.” he knew that Guillermo was…the most vocal about Beatrice working at the bar when they met years ago…but he hoped he got better. “And she made sure that Bea was her server.”
Guillermo's eyebrows furrowed, his eyes leaving Michael’s to meet Rooster’s “What was her purpose in going there?"
Rooster exhaled heavily, his frustration with the situation evident. "I have no idea, Guillermo. She was condescending and rude to Bea, too." he could use the big guns now. And he saw how Guillermo’s eyes narrowed and he looked away, he got him up to speed at least.
Michael snorted, bringing the soda to his lips as he leans on the kitchen table. "Well, that sounds like a recipe for disaster. Condescending and rude, you say? What's the story behind that?"
Rooster shrugged, crossing his arms and sighing, his frustration palpable. " I believe she knew I would be there that night, and she might have wanted to assert herself or make Beatrice uncomfortable. We think it’s a power play."
Guillermo, ever the protector of the family, leaned back in his chair and Nicole falls back on his stomach…only to slowly climb up her uncle’s massive chest until she sat on one of his shoulders, nomming the graying hair on his head "If she was trying to make Beatrice uncomfortable, that's unacceptable.”
“Uh-oh.” Leonardo says, “He’s using the big words.”
“Those years in Princeton do stay with you.” Michael smirks, earning a confused look from Rooster, “Yeah, Guillermo went to Princeton. Crazy, right? Still paying the loans to this day.”
“Really?”
“Yeah, bro is going through it–” Michael stops, avoiding Guillermo’s eyes when his oldest brother meets his gaze again. Leonardo just looks back at Rooster in desperation, almost begging for him to prevent his older brothers from killing each other.
He clears his throat, “Yeah,so…We believe she knew about my upcoming deployment with her husband, and that may have motivated her to assert herself in some way," Rooster explained. “And I…well,I’ll be gone for three months. I don’t know what she might want to do.”
Now that made all three Schiavoni brothers stare at Rooster. No one, besides him, was more protective of Beatrice than her own family.
Especially her brothers.
“What,” Guillermo begins, “Do you want us to do?”
“Well…since Bea will be alone here and-” he points out of the window, “That’s their house, you can’t see it right but if you go to the garden-” cue to Guillermo standing up, picking Nicole and walking to the garden. Michael followed, clearly wanting to see more by himself while Leonardo and Rooster remained in the same spot.
Leonardo clicked his tongue, holding a finger up, “Can I ask you something?”
“Sure?”
“Did you…think that letting Guillermo- you know, Guillermo, our oldest brother-” he laughs nervously, “Letting him know that someone is bothering Bea…is a good idea? You do remember, hah, he’s over 6ft and is a former boxer? Not to mention, he’s the most protective of our little sister?”
Leonardo’s question lingered in the air, and Rooster tried to find the right words to explain his reasoning. "I know Guillermo is protective, but it's not just about Bea. It's about keeping the situation from escalating. I don't want her to be uncomfortable or harassed, and I don't want unnecessary conflicts."
Leonardo listened thoughtfully, face still in a grimace. "I understand, Rooster. But...I mean,” he scoffs, gesturing to the window where they could see Guillermo’s giant stature - well, his chest, with Nikki dangling from his arm giggling - “I mean, remember who your brother in law is…remember that this man has a punch power that could break a wall.”
"I remember, believe me.But I also know that Bea wouldn't want any confrontations or unnecessary tension. I want her to be okay…by the time the twins are able to come back home." he explains, “You know that if I could stay,I would…I’m not excited about this deployment at all.”
Leonardo nodded in agreement, still a bit uneasy about the whole situation, making a noise in his throat that reminded Rooster so much of displeased Bea. "I guess?"
“I know it sounds over the top now,” Rooster pushes himself off the table and walks to the garden, with Leonardo following him close by, “But it’s for her own safety. I don’t want her alone.” he stops by the double doors, eyes widening because Guillermo was just standing in front of the gate.
He didn’t have to raise himself at all.
He was taller than the gate!!
Michael noticed the two and smirked, pointing to the scene, “He’s checking the surroundings.”
Guillermo stood before the gate, his tall and imposing figure casting a shadow over the entrance and spooking at least three of their neighbors who walked past and could only see a head, a pair of bushy brows and dark green eyes staring them down. In his arms, Nicole giggled and reached out to touch the leaves of a nearby plant, her little fingers exploring the green foliage with curiosity, happily oblivious.
As Rooster and Leonardo approached the scene, Michael chimed in with a mischievous grin. "Looks like Guillermo's conducting security checks now. The man is always on high alert."
Leonardo gestured toward his older brother with his eyes wide. "Well, I guess you got yourself a new guard dog–"
“Is their house the blue one?” Guillermo’s deep voice suddenly asked and Rooster had to walk closer to meet him. His daughter stretched her arms to him and he quickly grabbed her from her uncle’s grasp.
While he was tall, he had to crane his neck a bit to see more of the outside, and so find the house he was looking for, “The white one with brown roof.” he mutters, “With the uh…messed up garden.”
“Hm.”
“Hm?”
“Hm.”
The three men looked at each other, confused, and Rooster was just surprised that not even his own brothers knew what that humming meant. “So…I just think you can drive by sometimes.” Rooster tells Guillermo, whose head is still facing the said house, “Maybe Michael can sleep over too, if that’s alright with him.”
‘I’m fine with that.” Michael said, holding his hand up, “Is Bea alright with that?’
“I’m going to talk to her once she comes home.” he explains, “She said she’d like some help, and the girls will come by when they can…but you guys will be the extra help.”
Guillermo's focus remained on the house with the messed-up garden, his brow furrowed in deep thought. "Drive by, you say? I can do that. Keep an eye on things without drawing too much attention.."
Michael, leaned forward with a grin. "I'm in for a sleepover, Roos. Just tell me when and I'll pack my bags. It'll be like a boys' night in….but with Bea and the kids…hm.”
Rooster chuckled, appreciating the support from his brothers. "Great. I'll check with Bea about it, and we'll coordinate. I’m sure she won’t mind.."
-
“Bea.”
“What?”
He frowns, leaning against the doorframe with his shoulder as he watches his wife angrily toss her clothes away, “Baby, I thought you’d be okay with it.” she continues marching around their room, angrily removing pieces of clothing…and honestly, he wouldn’t mind it if she wasn’t pissed. “They are your brothers.”
“Yes, Rooster.” she grinds out, “And that’s exactly why I worry! Really? You brought Guillermo?” she disappears into the bathroom, her voice echoing around the room as she continues her tirade, “You know how he can be, you know!”
He stepped into the room and walked over to the bathroom door, leaning against the frame. "Bea, I know Guillermo can be a handful, but he cares about you. They all do.."
Beatrice emerged from the bathroom, her expression still tense. She crossed her arms and looked at Rooster, her frustration evident. "I get that, Roos, but I also know how Guillermo can act. You know how he is, you know how he was." she frowns, “...I love my brothers. I love Gui” she mutters, “But…is it necessary? I can handle myself…”
Rooster approached her, reaching out to gently take her hands in his. He looked into her eyes, then kissed her knuckles "Baby,I know you can. I don’t doubt you one bit.." he frowns, “But allow me to be a protective husband every now and again. I can’t…I don’t want you to be alone, at least at night here. I’m not saying Miranda will do anything, but…I just worry.”
Beatrice softened a bit as Rooster's words washed over her, almost guiltily. She knew he was always looking out for her, and that was one of the many things she loved about him.
But she wished she was talked about this first.
She took a deep breath and leaned her forehead against his chest, her voice quieter. "I know you worry, Roos. And I appreciate that. But I also want you to trust me, trust that I can handle myself."
Rooster wrapped his arms around her, holding her close. "Baby, gorgeous,I do trust you.” he frowns, he didn’t want to appear he didn’t “ You're one of the strongest and most capable people I know. But sometimes, it's not about your abilities or how you can deal with things... It's about peace of mind, knowing that you're safe."
She sighed, her fingers curling into his shirt. "I understand that, but it's also about our relationship with my brothers. I don't want them to think that I can't handle myself or that I need protection all the time."
“They don’t think that.” she gives him an unimpressed look, “...Michael and Leo don’t think that.”
“Ugh.” she plops her head on his chest, “I haven’t..really talked to Gui a lot these past months. I had no time…so I don’t want him babying me or, or thinking I can’t do stuff on my own.”
“Mav will come over too.” he tries to remedy, maybe the mention of his uncle would help her feel better, “Just to check on you.”
Beatrice shifted on his hold, slowly meeting his eyes, “You asked the entire base to take care of me,Roos?” he was about to reply, but she chuckles softly, leaning into his touch. "I understand, Roos. I really do appreciate how much you care about me."
He smiled warmly at her, kissing her forehead. ". I promise I won't go overboard with it, but having some extra eyes on you will make me feel better. And if you ever feel like it's too much, just let me know. I trust your judgment completely."
Beatrice nodded, a small smile on her lips. "Does that mean I can kick Gui out if I want to?”
“Hmmmm…yeah,why not.”
“Nice.”
