Best Summer Outfit Ideas 2024
As the mercury rises and the sun shines brighter, it’s time to revamp your wardrobe with the coolest summer outfits for men. From casual beach days to rooftop parties, the key to staying stylish and comfortable during the summer months lies in choosing the right clothing. In this guide, we’ll explore the best summer outfits for men, perfect for beating the heat while looking effortlessly cool.
Tumblr media
Classic Casual: Polo Shirt and Chinos For a laid-back yet put-together summer look, you can’t go wrong with a classic polo shirt paired with chinos. Opt for lightweight cotton or linen polo shirts in vibrant colors or subtle patterns for a pop of personality. Pair them with tailored chinos or lightweight trousers in neutral tones like khaki or light gray. Complete the ensemble with boat shoes or canvas sneakers for a relaxed vibe that’s perfect for brunch or a casual day out.
Smart-Casual Vibes: Short-Sleeve Button-Up and Shorts When the temperatures soar, swap out your long-sleeve button-up shirts for short-sleeve alternatives. Look for breathable fabrics like cotton or linen in fun prints or solid colors. Pair them with tailored shorts in a complementary shade, such as navy blue or olive green. Roll up the sleeves for a laid-back look and add minimalist sneakers or loafers to elevate the outfit. This ensemble strikes the perfect balance between sophistication and comfort, making it ideal for outdoor gatherings or dinner dates.
Summer Suiting: Lightweight Linen Suit Who says you can’t wear a suit in the summer? Opt for a lightweight linen suit in soft pastel shades like light blue or beige for a sophisticated summer look. Linen is a breathable fabric that will keep you cool even in the sweltering heat. Pair the suit with a crisp white dress shirt and leather loafers for a polished ensemble suitable for summer weddings, garden parties, or rooftop soirées. Don’t forget to accessorize with a silk pocket square or a statement watch to add a touch of personality to your look.
Beach Ready: Printed Hawaiian Shirt and Swim Trunks For a day at the beach or by the pool, channel laid-back island vibes with a printed Hawaiian shirt paired with swim trunks. Opt for bold floral or tropical prints in lightweight fabrics like rayon or cotton. Pair the shirt with swim trunks in coordinating colors or playful patterns. Complete the beach-ready look with flip-flops, a straw hat, and sunglasses for a relaxed yet stylish ensemble that’s perfect for soaking up the sun.
Sporty Chic: Athletic-inspired T-shirt and Jogger Shorts For an active day outdoors, opt for athletic-inspired summer outfits that combine style and functionality. Choose a moisture-wicking T-shirt in a breathable fabric like polyester or a blend of cotton and spandex. Pair it with jogger shorts featuring elastic waistbands and lightweight, quick-drying materials. Finish the look with sporty sneakers and a baseball cap for a casual-cool vibe that’s perfect for outdoor workouts, hikes, or casual hangouts with friends.

Upgrade Your Wardrobe with Our Printed Shirts for Men
Fashion is an ever-evolving art form that allows individuals to express their unique personalities and styles. Men's fashion, in particular, has witnessed significant transformation over the years, breaking free from traditional norms to embrace creativity and individuality. In this dynamic fashion landscape, printed shirts for men have emerged as a trend that not only reflects style but also makes a bold statement. This blog will explore the world of printed shirts for men, discussing their history, versatility, styling tips, and the reasons they have become a fashion staple.
A Brief History of Printed Shirts
Printed shirts have been a part of men's fashion history for centuries. The origin of printed shirts can be traced back to Asia, where various printing techniques, such as woodblock and silk-screen printing, were developed. These techniques were used to create intricate patterns and designs on textiles, including shirts. Printed shirts made their way to the Western world through trade routes, and by the 18th century, they were considered a luxury fashion item.
However, it wasn't until the mid-20th century that printed shirts gained widespread popularity. Hawaiian shirts, also known as "Aloha shirts," played a pivotal role in popularizing printed shirts. These shirts, adorned with vibrant floral and tropical motifs, captured the essence of leisure and relaxation, making them an iconic symbol of the Hawaiian lifestyle. The 1950s saw the rise of the rock 'n' roll culture, which brought about the "Rockabilly" style, marked by shirts featuring bold and unique prints. Since then, printed shirts have evolved, incorporating an array of designs, from retro patterns to contemporary graphics.
The Versatility of Printed Shirts
One of the most appealing aspects of printed shirts for men is their versatility. These shirts can seamlessly transition from casual to formal occasions, making them an essential wardrobe item. Let's explore the different types of printed shirts and their ideal settings:
Casual Printed Shirts: Casual printed shirts are perfect for relaxed settings. These shirts often feature fun, quirky, or bold prints that express your personality. They are ideal for beach parties, BBQs, or a casual day out with friends.
Floral Printed Shirts: Floral prints are timeless and can be worn in both casual and semi-formal settings. They add a touch of elegance to your outfit and are excellent for summer weddings and garden parties.
Geometric Printed Shirts: Geometric prints exude a modern, sleek vibe, making them suitable for semi-formal occasions, like office gatherings or dinner dates.
Abstract and Graphic Printed Shirts: These shirts are an excellent choice for fashion-forward men who want to make a statement. They can be worn at clubs, music festivals, or art exhibitions.
Paisley Printed Shirts: Paisley prints offer a classic touch to your attire. They are perfect for upscale events, including formal dinners and cocktail parties.
Why Printed Shirts Have Become a Fashion Staple
Printed shirts for men have achieved a prominent status in modern fashion for several reasons:
Self-Expression: Printed shirts allow men to express their personality and interests. Whether you're a nature lover, art enthusiast, or music aficionado, there's a print that represents you.
Attention-Grabbing: The bold and eye-catching nature of printed shirts naturally draws attention. They make a strong fashion statement without much effort.
Seasonal Appeal: Printed shirts are highly adaptable and can be worn year-round. You can choose lightweight fabrics for summer and transition to heavier materials for the colder seasons.
Endless Variety: The diversity of prints available in the market is astounding. From florals to abstract designs, there's something for every taste and occasion.
Comfort: Many printed shirts are made from breathable and comfortable materials, making them ideal for long hours of wear.
Final Thoughts
Printed shirts for men have evolved from their historical roots into a versatile and essential fashion item. They offer men an opportunity to express themselves, make a statement, and adapt to a wide range of occasions. Whether you're strolling along the beach, attending a formal event, or just adding a touch of style to your daily routine, printed shirts are a valuable addition to any wardrobe. So, embrace the world of prints, explore various designs, and let your fashion sense shine through these captivating garments.

The conservative, hateful, ant-gay 1980's
July 21, 1986. Monday
I love this  open, new life style. Friends pound on my door and stop by. I met a guy tonight, Mark, from North Dakota and Minneapolis. He has slept with 3000 men. He started off with a blonde, tan Hawaiian beauty 10 years back. To my 4 or 5. Oh well. But, with aid’s, he’s slowed to zero I guess.
Julie and I had a good, long talk about many things, including the emptiness of one night stands. Greg stopped by. We reaffirmed our friendship and I felt true, good friendship. Steven called. We’ll get together next Wednesday at 9;30 for a drink at Face’s.
July 22, 1986
Julie came over tonight,. Pleasant open talk. Julie told me “Hey, don’t say you’re gay—you are a person like anyone." That kind of good, open discussion is so refreshing. Makes me so happy.
Met with Steven and his cute 23 year old lover George, who was very upset I fear. Good talking with Steven. He is concerned about the conservative, hateful,  anti gay 1980’s. He said that his cute 23 year old is totally into the material. He wouldn’t even see “Parting Glances”.
The reason: He didn’t want to see anything that might deal with “the negative”, like Aids.
We jointly agreed the art in life is accepting it as it is.
July 24, 1986
Quick note only: Dinner at Nancy's. Nice. Met her sister , her sister's husband, and their kids. Nancy is like Shirley MacLaine in her relationships with married men.
Note:
Faces is a gay bar pavilion that open in  the Lavender Heights district in Sacramento in 1985. It is still in operation. It has several dance floors, bars and even a swimming pool!
Julie was a friend I met when I first moved to Sacramento in 1986.
Charlie became a lawyer and soon after died of AIDS.
Parting Glances was a 1986 movie playing in theaters when I first moved to Sacramento in the Summer of 1986. It dealt with gay relationship in the time of AID’s.
Shirley MacLaine is an actress. She has starred in many movies.

Modern Three Caballeros - Christmas’ Party but summer
Merry Christmas to all who celebrate! And this is a special occasion.
Yes, I planned to do something special, but due to lack of time I can't get everything, so I did this, I mean I drew this.
Yes, if you ask me why summer, then Donald went with his friends and family to the southern part of the planet Earth, to Brazil with his friend Jose Carioca and celebrate Christmas together, and currently on the south side of the planet Earth is summer, while on the north side planet earth is winter.
Yes, they met three caballeros again, but now they are in modern clothes and this is more of my headcanon. I merged Brazilian comics, The Three Caballeros, Legend of the Three Caballeros, European comics and Quack Pack into one. Of course, in my own way and in my own style. Everyone, together with their family and friends, is celebrating Christmas (behind them you can see glowing lamps, mistletoe and a Christmas tree) and preparing dinner, so everyone will enjoy a beautiful night together.
Donald Duck, Daisy Duck (yes she has her own style like a mix of Quack Pack and House of Mouse, plus she wears Daisy-like clothes from Donald's diary), Panchito Pistoles, Jose Carioca (like Ze Carioca in Brazilian comics), Rosinha Maria Vaz , Xandra (goddess of adventure from the Legend of the Three Caballeros), Donald's nephews (Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck as teenagers), Daisy's nieces (April, May and June Duck as teenagers), Jose's nephews (Zico and Zeca Carioca as teenagers), Nestor (friend of Ze Carioca), Fethry Duck (Donald’s cousin), Gyro Gearloose (Donald’s friend, he’s like his in Italian comics plus wearing a Hawaiian shirt), Dugan Duck (Fethry’s nephew as a boy), Newton Gearloose (Gyro’s nephew as a boy) and Aracuan Bird.
I wanted to add more characters, but not everyone would stop at this drawing. Sorry about that, as well as Panchito's wrong eye background (his eye background should be white, not blue). Plus sorry if some of the characters were bigger than usual, since I was in a hurry. They all celebrate together, and behind them you can see the sea and part of the island. And beware of Dugan and Aracuan Bird, as they prepare for one naughty surprise.
Although it’s late, this is also my ending around Cabs Week for this year as far as the Free Day theme is concerned. Plus, this is also my gift for my friend @isabellanajera  who celebrated her birthday last week and although I be late I wish her a happy birthday and a merry Christmas! I hope you like this gift of mine.
I also thank you all for following me and continue to follow me and there will be more surprises.
Once again, I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Happy Holidays! And I hope you like this drawing.
Feliz Navidad! Feliz Natal!

Note
let me be very obvious and send you nace for the ship ask!
Do it for our besties, Nancy and Ace
absolutely i will besties!!
-
1. Who buys flowers for the other
I mean, Nancy does still owe Ace flowers from his welcome back party... (but also i love the idea of Nancy opening her locker at the end of a hard shift to find flowers Ace snuck in for her. maybe a little note too because ofc he would leave notes)
2. Who makes the other coffee/tea
Ace 1000% - he also makes Nancy lunches and will sit with her to make sure she eats whenever she gets worked up over a case
3. Who eats the most candy on Halloween
Ace (although Nancy will fight him for the fun size snickers) (between him and Ryan the Drew household goes through 4 bags of candy before they get halfway through October)
4. Who tries new recipes all the time
This is kind of a split - Ace sometimes plays around with weird food combos when the Claw's slow (Birdie's grilled cheese and peanut butter actually turned out to be one of his favorites) But Nancy got really into baking after she and Rebecca bonded while Ace was on his road trip, and they still trade recipes whenever she comes over for dinner
5. Who genuinely likes pineapple on pizza
ACE i'm laughing bc i really just tossed that idea into a fic and here it is again...if it comes up again i'm claiming it's canon Nancy absolutely hates it and refuses to kiss him after he has a slice (at least at first....her resistance usually doesn't last too long)
6. Who wears hats on special occasions
Follow-up question: does breaking and entering count as a special occasion? Because Nancy may or may not have knitted Ace his own b&e beanie (Ryan also bought them both Red Sox hats that time he and Carson took them to Boston for a game...it gave Ace major hat hair and Nancy teased him the whole ride home)
7. Who likes ‘90s R&B
Nancy - Ace doesn't have much of a taste in music other than the 70's rock cassettes that came with Florence (but he will listen to anything Nancy puts on)
8. Who likes long walks on the beach
Both - especially at night. Sometimes it's nice to just take a moment away from everything - without any familial conspiracies or spooky shit to deal with - and enjoy the silence together (they also spend a good deal of time on the bluffs. maybe they have their first kiss there. who's to say.)
9. Who buys wacky picture frames
Ace - he particularly likes the ones with big, obviously fake seashells glued onto them (Nancy's bedroom is starting to look like a boardwalk tchotchke shop but she can't bear to get rid of any of them)
10. Who compares themselves to fictional/celebrity couples
Oh, neither. For two people who toss out movie references with ease, they really have almost 0 pop culture awareness. (that being said, if George hears Bess call them the 'Jim and Pam' of the Claw one more time...)
11. Who can solve a rubix cube
Both. Ace can do it in just over a minute (and he's coming for that world record) Nancy can do it in 3 (but only after she peels off the stickers and cheats when no one's looking)
12. Who would wear Hawaiian shirts on vacation/during the summer
I mean.... (Nancy did borrow one of his after a beach day and he had to turn away and walk down to the water to keep his composure)
13. Who wears mismatched socks because they can’t keep up with the pairs
Nancy (unintentionally - she has too many other things to worry about) Ace (deliberately - it works with his style, so he stopped trying to keep the matches a while ago)

What to Wear to Casual Events
I talk a bit about “calm” colors. By this I mean- black, white, beige, brown, etc. Natural tones.
I break this down into 3 tiers, and each tier is based off a different price range. I hope this is easy enough for everybody to understand. Let me know what you think!
Tier 1: $5-$20/a person.
Includes but is not limited to: fast casual restaurants (such as Panera or Chilis), cafes, bowling, outings to movie theaters, any sort of game night a friend is throwing, etc.
At these sort of events it’s 100% acceptable to wear whatever you want! Jeans, band t-shirts, sweatshirts, etc. If you show up wearing heels and/or a suit you will look over dressed.
Tier 2: $25-$55/a person.
Includes but is not limited to: fancy chain restaurants (such as Olive Garden, Outback Steakhouse, Red Lobster), nice sit down restaurants, brunch, concerts, work parties, an outing to a museum, or any sort of date you might go on.
This is definitely upscale, but you don’t have to wear the most expensive clothes you own. Skip jeans but also skip pearl necklaces.
Masculine identifying: Nice pants or kakis (no dress pants), button down shirt, knitted sweater, shoes that are not sneakers or sandals. Patterns are 100% acceptable (especially Hawaiian shirts) and so are crazy color combinations. Do not wear ties or suits. Do whatever looks good with your hair!
Feminine identifying: Dress or skirts of any color or style (multi-colored or patterned is okay as well), flats, boots, or non-flashy high heels (do not show up with the 6 inch heels, it’s too much, trust me). Simple jewelry like a necklace or short earrings. It is absolutely acceptable to wear nice pants (as long as they’re not jeans) and a button down shirt as well! Just stick to solid colors.
Non-binary or other: Mix and match the above blueprints until you find a style that works for you! As long as you’re wearing shirts that don’t have any drawings or writing on them, those are fine. If they have pockets or buttons, all the better!
Tier 3: $60+/a person.
I hope that if you’re going to gatherings where you’re spending $60+ that you’re doing so in moderation! Usually these are dinners of some sort, art galas, dates, etc. Nevertheless, here are my thoughts on clothing options.
Masculine Identifying: Break out the suit, tie, and the most expensive shoes you own! Suits do look fancier if they’re single colors and calmer colors. That said, feel free to express yourself in your choice of tie and shoes. If you feel uncomfortable with long ties, go for a bow tie! Ascots and other accessories are fine if you’re sticking to solid colored suits and matching your colors. If you have long hair, pull it back.
Feminine identifying: Skirts and dresses are okay, but they need to be single colors and again, “calm” colors such as white, black, beige, etc. A red dress, shirt or skirt is okay, but only if everything else you’re wearing is in a calmer color or you’re Cheryl Blossom. Pant suits are acceptable, especially if you’re rocking high heels. Flats are slightly informal, better to wear a nice leather boot or heel if possible. In the summer nice sandals are okay. Because your clothing choice will likely be on the calmer side, feel free to go crazy with the jewelry. Hair should be up!
Non-binary or other: Mix and match between the two styles to find what works for you! As long as you’re wearing “calmer” colors, matching accessories by color, and wearing the most expensive shoes you own, you’ll look fab. If you have long hair, consider pulling it back or putting it up.
I hope this helps! And yes please I’m looking for feedback.

🍃 I think I'm falling (I'm falling for you) by @beau-soleil-louis Louis is a disaster gay on a skateboard. Harry is a beautiful, quirky stranger on a bicycle. Their first encounter really makes a splash.  📘 when you say you love me, know i love you more by @jimmytfallon Louis discovers one of Harry's insecurities and happily soothes it away.
🍃 Falling For Me Won't Be A Mistake by @all-these-larrythings Harry is married to his job and so overworked that he doesn't know how to stop. All it takes is a forced Hawaiian get-a-away, the warm tropical breeze of the island, and the most beautiful, elusive man he's ever seen to make him remember what living is like outside of work. Well, that, and the little souvenir he accidentally takes home with him.
📘 Sun Means The Sky'll Be Blue by @twoheartsbeating As the only singleton under thirty attending his cousin's five-day wedding, Harry is desperate to find a date, or at least a reason to get people's questions about his love life off his back. So when Louis, Harry's old uni roommate and fellow wedding attendee waltzes back into his life, Harry seizes the opportunity, pretending Louis is his ex-boyfriend and that it's a sore subject not to be mentioned.
If it's a little bit closer to the truth than Harry would like, well, he's a master at living in denial.
So cue a mess of trudged-up feelings, past misunderstandings, a rekindled summer romance and a whole lot of sexually-charged bickering. 🍃 i was getting kinda used to being someone you loved by @werebothstubborn His hand clamps down over Louis’ mouth as firmly as he can manage. “What do you want? C'mon, you have my full attention now. What. Do. You. Want.”
Louis manages to look apologetic as he licks slobbery circles around Harry's palm until he lets go. “Pretend to be my boyfriend,” he says, dramatically gulping in as much air as he can breathe.
“I’m sorry, what?”
“This bloke just came up to me, said he’d give us fifty quid to be in his music video.”
“And you said what? ‘Sure, just let me coerce my friend into it with uncomfortable amounts of PDA and blackmail’?”
Or, Louis has a brilliant idea. Harry begs to differ. Until he doesn't. 📘 say that you can see me (i'll speak up i swear) by @coffeelouis “Well, it’s not like anyone really RSVPs,” Liam defends when Harry turns back to him, “No one takes Facebook events seriously.” Harry rolls his eyes, still finding it within himself to get annoyed in his moment of panic. Liam has been complaining about the lack of accountability Facebook events have bred in their generation since their freshman year. Harry glances back to the gallery entrance. Yep, still there and moving closer.
“But aren’t you guys friends?” Harry asks, trying to convey the urgency in his tone.
“Well, I mean, I talk to him when he stops by the office for supplies sometimes,” Liam reasons, “But I wouldn’t say we’re friends, exactly. Maybe more like, friendly acquaintances?”
Harry groans. “You’re the fucking worst.”
Or, the liberal arts COLLEGE AU where Harry knows Louis as the best friend of the boy he has been hopelessly in love with for years now and Louis knows Harry as this boy he wished would look away from Zayn long enough to notice him. 🍃 Light My Fire, Blow My Flame by @goldbootsandvans “In New York, you can be a new man.” Broadway actor Louis Tomlinson has it all. An amazing flat, a wonderful friend group, a Tony under his belt, and the world at his fingertips. Yet there’s one thing that’s missing. And it might be in the shape of the curly haired lawyer who becomes Zayn’s new roommate.
Or, Louis is a Broadway actor, Harry is a newly graduated lawyer, Liam is a radio DJ, Zayn is an English Professor at NYU, and Niall is a music producer. A Friends AU. 📘 you move like water (yeah and you broke like waves) by @wankerville He gets it, he gets that he's weird, and clumsy, and his hair always seems to be a little greasy. He gets that he talks too slow and has a terrible movie taste and falls too fast, whatever. He can understand that Louis sees him as no more than a friend, and he can live with it. But he can't live with just being a fuck to him, thats something you say about a stripper, or a one night stand, but thats not them. They are best friends who have slept with each other three times already. He could at least call it ‘platonic love making’ or something other than a fuck.
Or, the four times harry sleeps with louis and wakes up alone and the one time he doesnt. 🍃 If the Surface Begs You Home by @becomeawendybird Harry is a mermaid from the underwater kingdom of Mercadia who is a little too fascinated by life above the surface. He's kicked out of his home after he winds up pregnant, and has to figure out how to make his way in the world.
Louis is the darling of the small neighbouring seaside village who came home after university to take over their local library, and can't seem to stay away from the mysterious pregnant mermaid his friends introduce him to.  📘 No Love Like Your Love by @all-these-larrythings When it comes to saving the world from itself and convincing rich CEOs of environmentally harmful companies to go green, there's nobody better than Harry Styles. That is, until Louis Tomlinson, his ex and former Alpha, is involved.   🍃 Watch the Sun Coming Up by @sadaveniren As Louis approaches his thirtieth birthday his pack is desperate for him to find a mate.
Harry has always expected one day he may settle down with a nice alpha and they would continue to live in his small hometown.
Together they somehow will make this work. 📘 Consequences by @allwaswell16 Two years ago Harry let his powerful family come between him and the love of his life, something he deeply regrets. Louis has tried to move on from their devastating break up. Sometimes, he even thinks he has. It only takes one moment to freeze them back in time.
An amnesia au. 🍃 Becoming Us by @sweariwouldnt  Married at First Sight is a television show in which hopefuls looking for The One are matched by experts deeming them to be the perfect match. The twist? They meet each other for the first time at the altar. When they exchange their 'I do's'. And get married for real.
One Harry and Louis find each other at the altar. They have five weeks to make or break the set-up marriage. 📘 A Taste of Desire by @casuallyhl “As forward as I have been with you this evening, I am also aware this dinner party isn’t the place to conduct business.” Mr. Tomlinson chuckles quietly to himself, shooting a subtle glance across the table towards their hostess. “And besides, I am sure our hostess would be horribly disappointed to learn that we went away this evening with a business agreement and not a mating one.”
Harry, who had been sipping his wine, coughs harshly at this. He splutters, unaccustomed to such blatant statements about mating.
Mr. Tomlinson continues to laugh quietly, clearly pleased at Harry’s reaction.
“Mrs. Humphreys promised that there was an alpha attending the dinner tonight that I would certainly get on well with,” Mr. Tomlinson continues, voice teasing. “She assured me that we would have much in common since we both work with mills.” Mr. Tomlinson glances at Harry, eyes flashing with mirth. “Little did she know that would be where our mutual interests began and ended.”

PART 1
“Just wear the blue dress I got you” originally bought as a joke digging at your quote “grandma style” Sadie got you the dress for your birthday last year, it looked like something out of the 60s but you loved it.
“Okay fine” You replied “I’m gonna get ready and go I’ll phone you after love you”
“Love you babe” you faintly hear, already on the other side of the room standing in front of the mirror holding the dress to your body.
Looking at the clock you realise 20 minutes had gone already. After showering, lightly curling your hair and applying some mascara and red lipstick another 30 minutes had gone by. You decide to play with your phone whilst you wait the last 10 minutes.
Ella:
MUM JUST TOLD ME YOU’RE IN LONDON! How long are you here for? I have tickets to a concert and no one to go with because my friends suck😭
You smile whilst reading the text from your little sister, it had been almost 3 months since you had seen her and before you moved to America you were the best of friends.
Y/N:
Hey smella, I’m here for two weeks! When’s the concert and who’s performing? I’ll see what I can do x
You quickly type your response just before a knock on my door gains your attention. He’s early, the butterflies in your stomach turning into elephants. You hadn’t been on a date in almost a year, too caught up in your career. Was this even a date? You had no idea and that thought didn’t nothing no soothe the nerves
“Hey, I hope you don’t mind pizza” he smiled whilst scratching the back of his head, was he just as nervous? “my boss recommended this little place around the corner”
“Pizza sounds good to me, as long as there’s no pineapple in si...” you were cut off my a dramatic gasp from the man next to you, looking over you realise his hand is on his heart with a fake sad expression
“Hawaiian is the only pizza for me, it is the love of my life... the Jack to my Rose, oh wait no bad example he died” he continued walking in deep thought before shouting “the Meghan to my Harry” he smiled triumphantly whilst holding the door leading you out of the hotel open for you.
You walked for 10 minutes, talking about random things from favourite dog types (you learned he owned a dog called Duke) to favourite memes.
“So what brings you to London? Business or personal?” He asks whilst you take a seat at the cute Italian restaurant.
“Both, I’m only here for two weeks before I go back to America” you look down at the menu, not really reading it but also not wanting to make eye contact. You were never good at hiding your emotions and it hurt when you spoke about leaving London. “What about you?”
“Business” once I looked up he was burning holes into me, a confused look upon his face. The more you looked at his the more familiar he became, like you knew him from somewhere.
After a solid 30 seconds of staring at each other you were approached by a waiter, after taking your order he disappeared.
“So what do you do for work?” You ask, starting up the conversation again
“A performer... of sorts” watching him squirm and become uncomfortable you decided to change the topic and what topic better than quoting your favourite vines that were there for you when no one else was?
________________
4 hours later
Standing outside your hotel door both you and Calum stand in comfortable silence, neither of you knowing what move to make next.
“I really enjoyed spending time with you tonight... I have work tomorrow pretty late but maybe we could hang out after?” His eyes were hopeful, you really enjoyed the time spent with Calum it was easy and fun, you both fell into a comfortable rhythm fast and there was never an awkward moment. “How about I take your number and let you know?” He held his hand out as if awaiting your answer.
His answer was given by you placing your phone in his hand, after dialling his number in and phoning his phone you both went your separate ways.
After taking your make up off and getting ready for bed you quickly check your phone and see a message from your sister
Ella: I can’t wait! I know it’s late notice but it’s tomorrow night and it’s for 5 seconds of summer, I’ll love you forever! 😘
You laugh as you read the message and think back to when you lived with your family, your sister used to be crazy for this boy band and most of the time it drove you crazy but her passion was something you loved about her
Y/N:
Sure, I’m free tomorrow night... I’ll pick you up and drive us there, fancy dinner first? We have lots to catch up on! X
Smiling at the thought of spending some one on one time with your person you lock your phone and put it on charge before climbing in to bed.
With the thought of the beautiful man you spent the evening with on your mind you drifted off to sleep completely oblivious to the events that were about to unfold and change your life forever.

Description: Summer means so much more than blue waters and long walks on the beach...
Pairing: Hoseok x Reader
Tags: smut, exhibitionism, outdoor sex, fluff, best friends to lovers!AU
Word Count: 6.6K
Prompt 43b: There’s something soothing about watching the waves roll in.
A/N: Please enjoy my piece for the btssmutclub writing project! I enjoyed writing this so very much and it even made my ice cold heart tremble while writing it. I also ask that you check out the other authors’ works and support them as well!
-
The days of Summer are the days of youth. It is the time where we enjoy licking off melting ice cream under the sun, where we are free of the biting, cold winter, and staying up all night listening to the summer rain that hit like monsoons and yet clear up the next day, leaving you with the rich scent of the earth. You couldn’t think of anything else in the world that could be as wonderful as that.
You flinched at the sound of your ringtone going off and you slid your hand across your bed to locate the source of the sound without having to pick up your head. You finally touch your phone and roll onto your side so one of your ears were exposed.
“Hello?” You croak into the phone.
“Woah! Did I wake you, Gollum?” A chirpy, male voice responds back on the other end. You immediately recognize it as Hoseok’s, your longtime friend that you’ve known since your diaper days. You’re a second away from hanging up when he continues. “What’re you doing today?”
“I’m sleeping in.” you reply in the same croaky voice. You roll over onto your back and stare at the ceiling, slowly allowing yourself to wake up. The sun leaking into the window was way too bright for your morning eyes and your blanket is lying on the floor. You must’ve kicked it off last night in a heat craze.
“And about how long does it take you to get ready?” He asked. You closed your eyes to think.
“30 minutes.”
“That’s too long, I’ll be over in 10.” He said and that alone was enough for your eyes to shoot open as you scrambled to sit up.
“10 minutes? Hobi, I just woke up!” You frantically jump out of bed and sprint to the bathroom.
“Maybe you should’ve thought about that before sleeping in until noon!” You hear him cackle and then promptly ended the call, which was another sign saying that he was already on his way. It was only Hoseok that could make you get up so quickly, only because Hoseok isn’t afraid to drag you out of your room to do anything. Regardless if you were ready or not. There was a time Hoseok hadn’t even given you enough time to pick out shoes and you soon found out that you wore flip-flops on a hiking trail.
At least he offered to carry you downhill after one of your flip-flops snapped off.
That was also one of Hoseok’s habits; to invite you somewhere without telling you any details about it. Sometimes, you loved his spontaneous attitude. You just wished he would think before he acted, but that’s why you were there to be his rationalizer.
To your surprise, it only took you a record time of eight minutes to get ready; that didn’t include brushing your hair or putting on makeup. All dressed up in a simple tank top and denim shorts, you headed downstairs and heard Hoseok’s bright voice mingled with your mother. You turned into the kitchen and saw Hoseok leaning over the island while smiling ever so flashily.
The first thing you noticed is that he’s wearing a tacky Hawaiian shirt with colorful palm leaves on a bright, mustard yellow background. A pair of Ray Ban’s hung from his collar and a thin, silver chain that complimented his outfit well. Hoseok noticed you standing in the doorway and he eyebrows piqued, as if to say a silent hello before turning back to your mother.
“—and then I said to her, mom, if you’re going to cook dinner, at least season the meat first!” Hoseok said and your mother began laughing uncontrollably. You ignore their conversation and grab a cold water bottle from the refrigerator when your mother calls you.
“Oh, you’re finally up, Y/N? Hoseok was just telling me about dinner with his mother last night and it is the most hilarious thing ever!” She burst out into laughter again and you resisted rolling your eyes.
“Sounds like you had a grand time.” You said to Hoseok. He shrugged with one shoulder as two small dimples appeared at the sides of his mouth.
“I try to make things fun for everyone.” He said back and pushed himself off of the island, standing straight. He’s taller than you by a few inches, but that difference alone is enough for you to raise your chin when you look at him. Hoseok tilted his head to the side, his eyes softening while peering down at you.
“Ready to go?” He said in a hushed voice.
“Ready whenever you are.” You smirk back at him and head towards the door.
“Well then, I won’t take her for long. We’ll be back before you start to miss her.” Hoseok flashed a pearly smile back at your mother and she giggled back, squeezing his arm.
“Oh, don’t mind me! You two have fun!” She exclaimed and once the two of you were outside of the house, Hoseok heaved a long sigh.
“Well, now that that’s over, let’s get going.” He said and led you to his Jeep that was parked just in your driveway, looking as if it belonged there.
“You never did tell me where you were taking me.” You said as you hopped into the passenger seat. Hoseok’s car was unexpectedly clean. Despite how loud and outgoing he was, Hoseok never liked things being messy. In that sense, he balanced you out perfectly; always nagging you for leaving clothes on the floor or forgetting to throw away those empty water bottles that littered your room.
“I’m glad you asked,” he said, reaching behind you to grasp the head of the car seat to look behind him as he reversed out of your driveway; his face was just inches away from yours. Your eyes fell to his necklace that fell so perfectly over the ridges of his collarbone. You followed it down to his chest and peered inside hoping to see what hung from it. “Jin-hyung’s brother has a small beach house and— are you trying to look at my nipples?” He snapped, his hand flying up to cover his chest and you immediately fell back.
“What? No, I was just checking to see if you still wore that.” You pointed to his chest. Hoseok pulled the chain from out of his shirt, revealing that there was nothing at the end of it. You felt your heart twinge.
“Oh, I keep it at home so I don’t lose it.” He replied reassuringly. You nodded, sitting back against the seat. About five years ago, you had given Hoseok a silver ring; nothing too extravagant but a band of gleaming silver. Yet, the fact that he’s kept it this entire time made your heart swell with this unnecessary fulfillment of joy.
“As I was saying, Jin-hyung’s brother has a beach house and he has permission to use it for the week, so the boys all decided to have a barbecue! Right next to the ocean! How amazing is that?” He exclaimed and you could feel how excited he was through his words.
“Sounds like nobody I know will be there.” You pout.
“Oh, don’t be like that. I’ll be there!” Hoseok tapped your bare thigh with the back of his hand. “You can just stick with me the entire time.”
You twisted your mouth. “That doesn’t sound like much fun for you. I’ll be fine frolicking at the beach or whatever” You cross your arms and give Hoseok the side eye. “Though, if I had been informed earlier, I could’ve brought a swimsuit.”
“You’re right, sorry.” Hoseok chirped. You didn’t hear a single ounce of sympathy in his words.
The car ride was filled with rolling laughter and an awful amount of booming bass. Hoseok reasoned that it was the only way to hype him up before arriving at the beach, but in your opinion, he was far beyond hyped before that. Another thing Hoseok loved to do during road trips was snap photos, mostly of the sky and sometimes of dogs that had their heads poking out of the window. He also liked reaching out to pet them right before the light turned green.
About 45 minutes and a shared, half-empty bottle of water later, Hoseok and you arrived at the beach. Hoseok took a different road that led towards the nice and expensive beach villas, but even from there you could see the twinkling water.
“It’s so sparkly...” you said in awe, eyes glued to the wondrous sight before you.
“Sure is, but we should get settled in with the others first. I’m sure they’re already there.” Hoseok said and continued to drive along the road until he pulled into a long driveway hidden behind tall palm trees. The house was in itself awe-striking. It was a Mediterranean style villa with sand-toned walls that rose up to almost the peak of the trees that surrounded the home in a emerald greenhouse. The tiles on the house was a bright cerulean blue that brought a pop of color to the abode.
“Holy shit, is Jin’s brother made of money?” You cursed as you stepped out of the car, slightly intimidated by the sheer luxury of the house.
“He’s not made of money, but he sure does have a fuck ton of it. I’m just glad he’s not an asshole.” Hoseok stepped out and led you inside. The door was already open, which made you slightly worried about the security of the home. At the same time, however, it would be ridiculous to not install any security system in a place like this.
“Hey! We’re here!” Hoseok belted our as soon as he got into the house. Already making himself at home and walking in, you followed Hoseok through the wide lobby past the tall staircase, the marble kitchen, and straight to the balcony that overlooked the entire coast line. Hoseok slid open the glass door which released the same booming music that Hoseok was playing before. No wonder he was friends with them.
“Hey guys, look who’s here!” Hoseok grinned from ear to ear and left you to cross handshakes with two of his friends, Yoongi and Seokjin.
“Finally! I thought I’d have to cook all of this myself.” Seokjin’s shoulders shook as he laughed. He handed Hoseok the metal tongs in his hand and stepped away from the grill.
“What? But I just got here!”
“That’s exactly why,” Jimin sneered from his lawn chair. He was sitting comfortably with shades covering his eyes. He bent down beside him and opened a small cooler. He picked up a can of beer and shook off the dripping water from it. Jimin handed you the can and smiled warmly. “It’s been a while, Y/N. Come and have a drink with us.” He gestured to an empty seat situated between him and Jungkook. You took the beer with an eager hand.
“That sounds like the best thing right now.” You said and fell into the empty chair, cracking open the beer and chugging it down halfway. You pull away and hiss.
“Thirsty?” Jimin snickered behind his beer can.
“Parched.” You emphasized and made yourself comfortable in the chair. “Have you guys gone down to the beach yet?”
“Not yet, we were waiting until Hobi-hyung got here so he could take over for Jin-hyung. That man has been itching to go ever since we got here.” Jungkook, the youngest out of Hoseok’s friends said, holding a beer close to his chest.
“We should all go. I mean, I was technically forced to come here against my will, but now that we’re here, let’s all enjoy ourselves.” You purposefully rose your voice at “forced”, making sure Hoseok could hear you over the sizzling grill. Hoseok narrowed his eyes at you sharply. Almost as if to say, don’t you dare go without me.
“I like how that sounds.” Jimin and you clinked beer cans and gulped it down. Just like you proposed, Seokjin, Jimin, Jungkook and you walked down to the beach which crossed through a leafy garden that led right down to the sandy terrain below. The four of you walked further out until you could see the guys’ heads from just above the balcony railing. You waved at Hoseok.
“Come meet us after you’re done!” You taunted. In a way, this was revenge for Hoseok bringing you here without telling you beforehand and how he rudely awakened you. Although, his intentions weren’t evil. When will be the next opportunity you had to wiggle your toes in warm, fine sand and smell the salt of the ocean right before you.
You spent the first few minutes walking the shore with the guys, catching up on the things you missed out on since the last time you’d seen them. Then Jungkook decided to jump into the ocean, then Jimin, and Seokjin wasn’t too far behind to join the two youngins. You failed to bring a swimming suit, so you sat in the sand and grabbed handfuls of sand only to let it sprinkle through your fingers.
The rest of the group joined up with you later on and you watched them kick water at each other. Jungkook and especially Hoseok playfully threatened to toss you into the water, but you begged them not to. Wet denim wasn’t so quick to dry and you’d rather not ruin your set of underwear. Instead, you were holding onto extra shirts that they had stripped off or hats that they didn’t want to lose in the water. It was like taking care of seven children, honestly.
The boys retired from their water play and most of them went back into the beach house to play some karaoke. You say some because Hoseok was no where to be found. Thinking back, he hadn’t regrouped with the group as they went back into the house.
“Hey Jin, have you seen Hobi anywhere? I can’t seem to find him.” You asked with a hint of restlessness in your voice. Seokjin turned away from the karaoke screen.
“Huh, nope. Have you checked the bathrooms? Maybe he got lost in the house.” Seokjin made himself laugh and went back to his loud and exaggerated singing. You pouted and stepped back onto the balcony. You rested your arms on the wooden railing and pressed against it, allowing the wind to freely rustle through our hair. The sun was almost setting and it dyed the sky a gorgeous blend of pinks, oranges, and purples—the colorful canvas seemed to stretch on forever, past the horizon that looked like a rippling black line that separated the sky from the ocean.
He’s still out there, you thought. It was just a hunch. In fact, the man could’ve taken his car and left you here. But that wasn’t Hoseok at all. Hoseok wasn’t the type of person to leave you, much less one to disappear without telling anyone.
You climbed back down to the beach and planted your feet into the cool sand. Then, you began walking down the coastline just right where the foam disappeared into the sand. You walked until you saw a large rocky structure. You slowed to a halt and walked around the large rock to continue heading down the beach.
“Y/N?” You heard your name being called. You pivoted, brushing your hair behind you against the erratic gusts of wind. Sitting on a flat rock situated in the center of the rock was Hoseok, simply sitting with his legs crossed. His black hair rustled in the wind and the two of you locked eyes for what seemed like more than a minute. “What are you doing here?”
You walked over to him, stepping onto smaller, slightly jagged rocks to get to Hoseok. He made some room for you and you plopped down right next to him. “It was getting dark and you disappeared. For a second, I thought you drowned in the water.” You said and looked out to the ocean.
Your breath hitched. For some reason, where you sat in the center of the rock seemed like the perfect spot to watch the ocean. The waves curled and foamed just below you. From there, the painted clouds rolled over the sherbet sky and enveloped you in this dreamy globe of vivid colors.
“This is...”
“Pretty beautiful, right?” Hoseok chuckled, his eyes looked out to the ocean, but much further. It was like he was looking at something much farther into the future. “I found it when I was taking a walk and I got distracted and didn’t realize what time it was.”
You pulled your knees to your chest and tried to see the same view Hoseok. At the same time, Hoseok leaned back onto his hands and inhaled deeply as if to take in the beach air.
“There’s something soothing about watching the waves roll in,” Hoseok uttered so very softly, so much so you could barely hear him over the waves crashing on the rocks beneath you, ironically enough. “Don’t you think?”
“It’s mesmerizing, I can say that for sure. It’s almost like I’m standing in the middle of the ocean where I can do anything I want.” You reply honestly. There was something about the wideness of the ocean that made you feel so small and you realized just how unimportant you were compared to this great body of water that could swallow you up in an instant.
“That’s one way to put it. When I look at it, I can see the natural beauty in this world. Something that’s not touched by man because it’s too big to be bothered by humanity’s dirty hands. Just looking at this makes me have hope that there’s at least something to have faith in.”
“Is that why you came here? To ridicule this world and its’ pollution habits?” You inquired, unable to take your eyes off of the vast sea.
“I also needed to clear my mind.”
“What could possibly be troubling you?” You asked rhetorically and Hoseok glanced at you from the side. His gaze lingered on your bare shoulders and legs, both completely uncovered by clothes. Hoseok felt the wind brush through his hair and he wondered if you were cold. He wondered how long you’d been looking for him and when you noticed he was gone.
“You’d be surprised. My problems are related to you in one way or another.” he smiled and moved his hand, his fingers brushed over yours. You flinched at the sudden contact and looked down at Hoseok’s hand, then up at him. Hoseok took the initiative and intertwined your fingers, squeezing them with a softness you never expected Hoseok to disclose despite your long term friendship with him.
You felt heat rise up and blossomed in your cheeks, coloring them pink, though it was difficult to tell by the way the sunset cast an orange glow on you. You were worried, on the other hand, that Hoseok could discern your nervousness by your clammy hands or shifty eyes.
“W-Well, I do hope everything works out in the end.” You stutter, your mind thrown into a craze because Hoseok’s hand was still tangled with yours—as if he refused to pull apart. He didn’t reply, but you could still feel his eyes on you.
“Are you nervous?”
“W-Why would I be?”
“What if I told you I was in love with you?” Hoseok asked and you lifted your face, locking your eyes with Hoseok who seemed to be watching you the entire time. A pregnant silence struck you and not even the sound of the crashing waves could pull you away from Hoseok’s magnetizing gaze. His brows raised slightly. “What would you do?”
The words came out involuntary. “I’d say you’re lying,” Hoseok blinked in surprise. “Because I’ve known you for years and y-you’ve never said anything as ridiculous as that.”
Hoseok creased his brows in distress. “Ridiculous? You think that sounds ridiculous?” He asked and retracted his fingers. Your heart fell into your stomach and you immediately regretted every single word that came out of your careless mouth. “I guess it does sound pretty absurd. I can’t even tell what’s right from wrong anymore.” His eyes glazed over and his attention returned to the horizon.
You bit down on your lip, as penance for being so insensitive. Even if Hoseok was joking, you had no right to dismiss his feelings like that. You shuffled to sit closer to him, leaning your shoulder against him. Hoseok glanced at you, eyes so wide you could see them glitter.
“If you were, hypothetically, being serious about being in love with me, I’d be on top of the world screaming how happy I am,” Hoseok snorted. “Because believe it or not, I’m also… in love with you.” You whispered the last part under your breath.
“I don’t believe it.” Hoseok said and you felt his hands slide over yours. Before you could look up, Hoseok’s lips were on yours. His hand went up to cradle your face and pull you into a deeper kiss and you had no means to refuse. You placed your hands on his chest and slid them upwards, wrapping around his neck. Hoseok pulled away and gasped, boring into your eyes with this desperate, lustful energy.
“You’d better stop me now because there’s no going back to being just friends after this.” He breathed and although he didn’t specify, you knew what he meant by “this” and the thought made your heart rate pick up. You blushed and tightened your arms around him.
“I have never been so sure about anything else in my life.” You replied with a warm smile and then pulled him in for another kiss. Hoseok hummed against your lips. He looked up and scanned around the beach.
“I don’t want to fuck you on these rocks, let’s look for a place,” He said and looked back at the ocean. In the meantime, you made the mistake of looking down, already semi-hard in his shorts. You gulped. “Besides, the tide is coming in so we’ll have to be quick.”
“What about those trees?” You pointed behind you at the cluster of palm trees that swayed in the breeze. Hoseok smirked at you.
“Behind those trees, huh? I didn’t know you were such an exhibitionist.” He teased and grabbed your hand, jumping onto the beach and pulling you to the trees. You just threw the suggestion out there, but you never expected Hoseok to be so on board with it. Although, you should’ve known it’d be hard for him to say no to anything after seeing how hard he was. Hoseok backed you into a tree and pulled your face to him, resuming your kiss from earlier.
You were hidden under the shade of the large palm trees and he took that opportunity to slide his hands under your tank top and gave your breasts a firm squeeze. You moaned into his mouth and stood on your toes to meet his height. It felt like you were in a dream, or a romance movie where you were on a honeymoon vacation next to the beach, eloping outside with the salty breeze running through your hair.
“I’ve always wanted to do this,” Hoseok said in between kisses. “God, you are so beautiful. You smell like the ocean too.” Hoseok held the back of your neck and took a whiff of your hair.
“I... don’t.” you were embarrassed, but Hoseok smelled much more like the ocean than you; his musky scent mixed with the fresh scent of the ocean and reminded you of a strange Yankee Candle combination that you could smell all day.
Hoseok pressed his erection against your inner thigh while kissing your neck, licking and nipping at your skin. “Salty too.” He snickered and sucked on your neck. A low moan escaped your mouth and you leaned your head back against the tree. You had no reason to hide your moans. In fact, you wanted to be louder. This was the first time Hoseok had ever laid his hands on you in this way and you wanted him to touch every part of you.
“Touch me more, Hoseok.” You pursed your lips and ran your fingers over the ridges of his abs. You tugged on the band of his shorts and the slight contact made Hoseok pull away from your neck with a wet pop.
“You’re making me go insane. Say my name again.” He growled and you moaned his name, emphasizing the breathiness in your voice. Hoseok grunted and bucked his hips. He quickly got on his knees and caressed your hamstrings while his face was just inches away from your crotch.
“Let me taste you.” He said, wiggling down your denim shorts. Hoseok pressed his two fingers against the fabric of your panties, teasing you with his gentle touch. There was already a thin strip of your juices that lined your panties from the arousal that hit you so suddenly. He lined his lips with his tongue and shimmied down your panties. Hoseok lifted your leg over his shoulder and gave you one last look for consent before diving in with his tongue.
“Oh... shit!” You cursed and gripped his hair, lowering yourself onto his tongue. Hoseok sucked on your clit and moaned; his hand tightened around your thigh.
“Taste so good. Sweet and salty.” He smirked devilishly and wiggles his tongue over the hood of your clit. It’s like he knew every sensitive part of your body. He knew exactly how to make you squirm and squeal for him.
Hoseok slipped his tongue inside of you and you lowered yourself onto him. Arousal burned in your deepest part and you wanted nothing more than for Hoseok to ravage you and fuck you. He pulled away and sucked on his two fingers before spreading your sticky folds and promptly sliding his fingers in there. Your eyes fluttered in ecstacy the moment he curls his finger near the entrance. Hoseok didn’t seem to be bothered by your desperate moans and relentlessly stroked your insides.
“F-Fuck, that feels amazing.” You moaned, raking your fingers through his hair. Hoseok hummed in approval and covered your sex with his mouth, licking your clit. Electricity shot through you and you arched your back. If you didn’t have the support of Hoseok grabbing on your thigh and the tree behind you, you would’ve fallen onto Hoseok from the sheer pleasure he was giving you.
Hoseok was watching you squirm and shake above him and it inflated his ego knowing that he was the one making you feel this good. He wanted you to cum over his tongue so he could taste you and he was so damn sure that you would taste divine. Your leaking juices that coated his fingers were so addicting-ly sweet and it never stopped. He lapped up every single drop, but the desire to taste more was too strong he couldn’t help but purposely tease you.
“H-Hoseok… I don’t wanna cum yet.” You whined, but your actions didn’t match a single word you said and you still pulled him into you, refusing to let go. Hoseok creased his brows in confusion, licking his lips of your juices when he pulled away.
“Why is that?” He asked, his long fingers still stroked deep inside of you. You whimpered. It took a massive amount of willpower not to cum from his sultry words and devilish fingers.
“I want to—nngh—cum with you.” You moaned. You squeezed your eyes while your mind left you to escape to a heightened, euphoric state. Your entire body burned with the need to cum and yet you refused. At least, not until Hoseok fucked you.
“Fuck, you are too sexy.” Hoseok hissed and slid his fingers out, sucking your juices off of his digits. He stood up and trapped you against the tree, leaning down to kiss you. You felt his tongue scrape inside of your mouth and you could very distinctly taste the saltiness. While your hands were free, you impatiently pulled Hoseok’s pants down and his dick sprang up with youthful vigor. He moaned into your mouth and bit your lip when he pulled away, straining his neck back while his veins protruded through his dewy skin.
“Are you going to fuck me now?” You bat your eyes seductively while gently tracing your fingers along his thickness. Hoseok narrowed his eyes at you.
“I’m tired of your shit,” he growled. You felt his hands grab the back of your neck and in a flash, your chest was pressed against the tree and you felt the heat of Hoseok’s cock against your slit. You bit your lip and glanced back at him with a sultry look. “You’d better not regret those words.”
A jolting slap on the ass rippled through you and your jaw dropped from the pain. It burned like your ass was lit aflame, but it excited you. It was like seeing an entirely new side to Hoseok and to be completely honest, you wouldn’t mind seeing him like this more often.
You jut your ass out and wiggled it against his dick, egging him to slide it in you already. Hoseok gripped your ass cheek and spread it. He lined up the head of his cock with your wet hole and in one quick thrust, Hoseok slammed his cock into you. You gasped and scratched at the tree. He filled you up so deeply and the stretch was painfully splendid.
“God! Fuck! Your pussy is so tight, I don’t want to move.” Hoseok grinded deep inside of you while his hot breath fanned against the back of your neck.
“Ah! So... Deep!” You screamed and Hoseok began to thrust into you. At first, it was just small movements—the head of his cock scraped your walls every time he moved. He stretched your hole so well and you clung to him like a vice.
“Scream louder for me. I want you to go crazy for me.” He said and gripped your hips. He started moving more vigorously—slamming your hips onto his. He threw his head back and growled from his throat. Your pussy swallowed his cock up all the way to the base and he loved the way his balls slipped against your clit. Your juices coated his cock, lubricating it so he could reach even deeper.
“I’m already—ah—going crazy!” You exclaimed. Your vision was beginning to waver and you could barely keep yourself together with Hoseok fucking you from behind. It felt so right to have him inside of you.
Hoseok kissed your neck which was damp with sweat. You felt his lips press against the shell of your ear. “Cum for me. I want you to cum around my dick.” He whispered in a husky voice. You tightened around him after hearing his seductive words and that only brought you closer to your orgasm.
“F-Fuck!” You screamed when Hoseok pounded into your sweet spot. Your mind went blank and you started seeing white—a clear sign that your orgasm was approaching with every thrust. “Oh—I’m gonna cum! Fuck, I’m gonna cum!” You twitched around Hoseok and pleasure ripped through you, paralyzing you for a moment as Hoseok buried himself deep inside of you. He felt your walls pulsate around his cock; the warmth and tightness of your sex was enough for him to cum at that moment.
“Damn, baby...” he hissed and wrapped his arms around you, cupping your breasts from behind. “You feel so good, I might just cum inside you.”
You craned your neck to face him and have Hoseok a peck on the lips. “Go ahead and cum, Hobi. I want to feel every last bit of you.” You smiled, the sweetness of your expression contradicted your provocative words and Hoseok simply wanted to do just that.
His pace picked up again and he started thrusting into you shallowly—only fucking the entrance with the tip of his cock where it was the most sensitive. In just a few thrust, Hoseok let out a satisfied grunt and you felt his seed spill into you. The head of his cock slipped out and you felt his hot release dribble out of you. Hoseok used his own cum as lube and rubbed his shaft along your ass, spreading his seed all over you until he softened.
His body was still pressed against you heavily and he showered you with plenty of kisses on your back and shoulder blades. When you attempted to stand straight, your knees gave out on you and you stumbled. If it weren’t for the tree you were so desperately clinging on to and Hoseok’s arms so heroically wrapped around your waist, you would’ve planted right into the sand.
“Can you stand?” He asked, concern lined in his words. You shrugged; your legs were tingling like they had just been electrocuted and your joints felt like jello. There was no way you could walk like that. Not to mention your hips felt as if they had popped right out of your back and were shoved back in so hastily.
Hoseok noticed your struggle and immediately swooped in to the rescue. He yanked his shorts back on and helped you back into your clothing as well. You couldn’t help but stare in awe at his care-taking skills—as if the sex didn’t just happen and it was your Hobi taking care of you.
“Sorry, I was being inconsiderate.” He apologized for no real reason in your opinion. There was truly nothing to apologize for. You both enjoyed it, seeing as you both climaxed, and the soreness was simply a reminder that it happened in the first place.
“Don’t be, silly. Will you do me a favor and give me a piggy-back ride back to the house, though?” You tilted your head and asked sweetly.
“Piggy-back ride? What, do you want my back to break?” He snorted and you balled up your fist to throw a punch, but he simply laughed and knelt down in front of you. “Hop on, your majesty.”
“Oh, how I’ve always wished for my knight in shining armor to sweep me off my feet—“ you said and climbed onto Hoseok’s back as he hoisted you up. “On this beautiful carriage. It’s truly a dream come true.” You giggles and wrapped your arms around his neck. You pressed your chest against him to feel the warmth of his back radiate off of him. It was like laying on a soft, heated marshmallow, only with more muscles.
“I guess we’re both living the dream, aren’t we?” He laughed and although you couldn’t see, you had a feeling Hoseok was grinning like an idiot as he walked down the beach.
You glanced to the ocean and the sun had already disappeared under the horizon and the sky had turned into a deep blue, with black and grey clouds that tumbled over each other. How long the two of you had been out here was a mystery, but the night sky looked different to you. Perhaps it was because you were at a beach and the view went on for miles, or perhaps it was the fact that you were so close to the man you loved and the two of you walked the sandy coast together. Maybe it was those so called rose-colored lens that made the sky seem so much more magical.
“Can I ask you a question?” You said softly. Hoseok hummed back in response. “When did you know?” You hoped Hoseok understood what you were hinting at because saying the word love made you all giddy inside, like a child.
Hoseok chuckled to himself as if recalling a distant memory. “Remember that ring you gave me? For the longest time, I had this thought that it was somewhat like a promise ring. Obviously, we weren’t dating at the time, but it made me think... I can’t imagine spending the rest of my life with anybody but you. Nobody gets my jokes like you do, nobody can light up an entire room like you do, no one can really make me stay up all night thinking about marriage or children—or even owning a beach house like this one day.”
Hoseok gently squeezed your thighs as he spoke and your eyes began to water from his words. You hoped he didn’t notice you shaking from holding back your tears.
“Call me crazy, but it sounded like a marriage proposal. Ever since then... I’ve kinda been hoping that it was. Then I realized all my thoughts were just me realizing how head over heels in love with you,” Hoseok said as the beach house came into view. Hoseok stopped and gently set you on your feet. He faced you and grasped your hand in his. The ocean breeze drifted between you, blowing your hair to the side and blowing Hoseok’s hair out of his face. You could see his eyes, how soft and endearing they were as if he was the happiest man on Earth.
“I love you so much, Y/N, and I realized after today that there isn’t another person I’d rather spend the rest of my life with.” Hoseok gently squeezed your hand and your eyes widened as you watched him lower himself onto one knee. Your body froze. Hoseok reaches into his pocket and pulled out a small, wooden box. It was no more than a few inches wide and fit perfectly in his fingers. It was nothing special, honestly, but as he opened it, you felt yourself overwhelmed with emotions and suddenly tears poured out of you like a never-ending faucet.
“It’s nothing fancy and I wish I would’ve planned it better, but uh...” he chuckled to himself and picked up a small, silver ring studded with a string of diamonds. It was the same ring you had given him, only he had—in some way without you knowing—customized it with twinkling jewels. One hand flew to your mouth as you muffled your cries. “Will you do me the honor of not only being my best friend, but also my wife for the rest of my life?” He smiled at you—his million dollar smile that was worth more than the world to you.
You had imagined this scenario and ran it through your head a thousand times, but now that it was happening here, at this exact moment, the words wouldn’t come out of your mouth. You babbled like a baby and cried, only being able to nod profusely while smearing your tears across your cheeks.
Hoseok got the message you were trying to portray and slipped the ring onto your finger and stood up. You rammed into him heavily with a hug while gripping him as tightly as you could. You rubbed your wet face into his shirt and sobbed, still not able to say anything through your hiccups. Hoseok stroked your head while looking up at the sky, attempting to hold back his own tears.
“So I take that as a yes?” He asked. You sniffled and pulled away, taking a moment to catch your breath.
“W-We’re still so young, you know?”
“Mmhmm.”
“A-And I’m still living w-with my mom.”
“I don’t mean to brag, but your mom adores me.”
You look up at him with beady, watery eyes. You know you look like a complete mess with a running red nose and tears staining your face, and yet Hoseok still looked at you as if you were the most gorgeous being on Earth. “Even then, you’re okay with me?”
He smiled and wiped your tears with his thumbs. Hoseok cupped your face and leaned in, pressing his forehead against yours.
“I told you, there isn’t another person I’d rather be with.”

Wall Street Journal interview.
1. Where did the idea for the Sopranos shirt come from? How/why did you pick that particular shirt? Firstly, we are massive fans of the show, it still feels relatively fresh in the mind and we have watched it back from start to finish several times now, it just gets better and better. It set a new standard in television, There's a lot of great TV shows out there now, a good chunk are like Hollywood movie productions, a lot of that comes down to just how good and successful the Sopranos was. It seems pretty bizarre to think how old the show is from when it first aired, I had the first half of the series on video, so the spine of the cases sitting on the shelf together made up a portrait of Tony. There's not a week goes by where you don't watch a snippet of the show.
Tumblr media
Obviously Tony Soprano is a great character but James Gandolfini was a superb actor and a hero of ours, his untimely passing was really hard to take, but in some strange way added to the whole cult of the show and the man. I didn't know him personally unfortunately but was really devastated when he died, friends of ours even asked us if we were OK. Our friend and regular collaborator Peter O’Toole did a nice illustration of Tony sat in the back of Satriales which is hanging on the wall beside me.

The original idea just came as a tribute really, we make these bobble hats which have attracted a cult following over the years, we've done many things, the most famous being the one we did based on the Overlook hotel carpet from the Shining, this went crazy for us and many have been inspired by it since, you see that pattern everywhere now. We put the shirt pattern into a hat and then later linked up with Far Afield www.farafield.uk/ , a label who we collaborate with and we agreed to try and replicate the shirt, it worked out really well, a good example of what a collaboration really ought to be, combining forces. They got the pattern spot on, we changed the camp style collar to give it a more contemporary look, but it was a great thing to do. It's an ugly shirt, but it's different to a lot of things on offer out there today, that's always an appeal for us. I think this was probably one of the maddest shirts he wore in the series, or certainly the coolest one. It features quite prominently at the end of Episode 11, series 2 'House Arrest'. The camera pans out outside ‘Satriales’ to the Johnny Thunders song 'You can't put your arms around a memory' it's a perfect moment.

2. Were you all personally inspired by Tony Sopranos' style? If so why? It's a tough question that, a part of me cannot really say yes to that. He wore some really awful clothes in the series, nobody would tell him that though. Polo neck jumpers with the sleeves rolled up, two tone tops, Hawaiian shirts, weird knitted polos and pullovers Alan Partridge would be happy to wear. I think these would be more obscure brands that cost a lot of money, not your familiar names. Real old school menswear shop tackle. In one episode Tony wears a Tabasco polo shirt, it's crazy, I guess it was maybe from when he was playing golf, I'm not a huge fan of the stuff but it was cool, I'd wear one if I could find one, purely to look like Tony. A lot of the time he would be seen in his dressing gown and slippers with baggy boxers and a vest, or the 'wifebeater', then he'd be wearing a summer shirt over his vest which is a cool look, especially with a chain around the neck. Of course there were other times where it was all sharp suits, business, meetings, dinners, going to the races, the casino etc, they all looked dapper there. Then in complete contrast the whole day to day tracksuit/shellsuit thing, which I believe is known as a 'Bensonhurst Tuxedo' this is strangely cool, but hard to pull off, it's purely lounge wear for us in the UK or maybe something you could get away with on a flight or on holiday. It actually works on the larger figures for some reason too, or at least they pull it off. Some characters were cooler than others, I thought Ralph Cifaretto (Joe Pantoliano) was amongst the better dressed, though others may totally disagree, a cold hearted killer can pull off a cravat better than most. Johnny Sack with his Burberry camel coat and then you had Furio in his Napoli training gear. A lot of these were big sweaty blokes so it would have all come down to comfort. A don doesn't wear shorts, remember that? 3. Do you think Tony's style (and the style of the other characters as well) mirrors or influences where men's fashion is at right now? I'm not too sure, men's fashion is still largely dictated by the big brands and labels and what comes next the stuff people want to be seen in, people who need magazines and expensive ad campaigns to tell them what to wear. To me the show's characters are very anti-fashion, obviously bits filter through into the menswear thing, you had Michael Imperioli posing in clothing for Kith when they worked with long standing New York store Bergdorf Goodman, a lot of modern streetwear looks similar, the tracksuits and that stuff, but that could be pointed back to 1980's sportswear too. Wearing a full tracksuit or even just tracksuit pants out of the house was always a bit of a no-no amongst our ilk, it's a lot more acceptable now.

4. How was the shirt received? Were you surprised by that response? It went really well, like pretty much sold out upon the release, it was only sold online by both ourselves and Far Afield but it wasn't tiny numbers. People know they're are buying into something bit mad, a bit different, some would say they loved it but wouldn't be able to pull it off. I think it works well as something for summer, a perfect holiday shirt. Or you can sneak it under a jumper or sweatshirt in the colder months and just have that hint of it. It's one of those that those who will know will get it and many others will just think we've gone mad. That works, you don't want to please everyone. We've never been one for mass appeal.  5. Why do you think all these years later, the show still has resonance? Just so groundbreaking, it was ahead of it's time. It's a very clever and in depth show, you go thought the whole thing again and you pick up things you missed first time around. Certain seasons were stronger than others, but so much of it set a standard, the standard you see today. The music, the language, the violence, it's clever, you look up to these guys in many ways, then it quickly reminds you they are not nice people. I know folk who have never seen it, I always tell them they are really missing out, you can't not get hooked in by it. They are in for a treat, I wish I could watch it all again like that. 6. How would you describe Tony's style? Is there anything about how he dressed that influences how you'd like to dress? The one thing I like about his influence personally, is I too have a pretty crap hairline and a protruding belly, he made that acceptable. He was the main man, he didn't care, nobody could mess with him his style was for him, he also showed signs of insecurity too though, only ever privately. If that leather jacket Richie Aprile gave him still fit he could wear that and nobody would say anything. 7. You mentioned there were plans for more shirts inspired by Tony's shirts, could you elaborate? Yes, we are going to release the second one this summer, fabric tests and swatches were approved a while back. It's the shirt he wears in Season 5 Episode 2 'Rat Pack', he confronts Tony Blundetto (Steve Buscemi) after he mocked his weight in front of everyone. Hard to describe this one, a bit like a Picasso painting, abstract squares, like some 1980's sofa or curtains, but he pulls it off, he always does.
