The whole point of the van scene was that it wasn’t about el. It’s about will’s feelings for Mike and how he is using el as a shield.

And the crazy together scene was just them being them. Like it had nothing to do with el. It was just about them talking about their feelings and Mike saying that he was going to stay with will no matter what happened. Like it was never about el.

And they still call us delusional-

You know, one of the side effects of the vampires' indifference is they never ask NEARLY enough questions about Guillermo.

Like how he survived being dropped from a height that, frankly, should have killed him regardless of what he landed on.

Like how he recovered from such a fall fully in an extremely short amount of time, with no long-term issues with pain or mobility.

Like how he's lived in a house with vampires for over a decade, been close enough to undress and dress one even, without once being overtaken by slayer bloodlust, despite it clearly being a visceral, physical reaction that slayers can't control.

Like how his reaction to YEARS of constant hypnosis was immunity instead of brain scramblies.

And that's before you even get to the stuff that might just be Guillermo, who he is as a person, like the fact that any vampire that spends any amount of time with him seems to become attached to him and end up feeling very affectionate and protective toward him, often much to their own annoyance and disgust.

Guilllermo is clearly, obviously, GLARINGLY something special even beyond his heritage as a slayer. But no one in that house ever thinks about him long enough to consider why that might be, or whether there's something weird going on with him.
