HIIII sorry if you’ve already done this but could you do a ace x fem angst where she’s a mizu mizu no mi user and she’s going through all the 5 stages of greif but can you add revenge
THANK YOU XOXO 😁😁😁😁😁
Hi. I have not done anything like this before. I’ve been kind of obsessed with the thought of Ace having a s/o who is a water user. So I’m so thrilled that you sent this in. It’s a weird set up, but it’s for a reason. I hope you enjoy it!
WARNING: Angst, Spoilers, Mentions of depression
(Ace x Fem Reader) Waves of Grief
Tumblr media
Denial.
He was going to come back.  You knew it!  That was just a joke.  That’s what you told yourself.  You would go to your favorite spot in the crows nest every day and wait.  He was coming up to spend time with you.  Right?
Anger.
You wish he’d just listen to Pops and let Teach  go.  He was such an idiot.  He should have controlled his anger.  He should have ignored Akainu and ran.  But of course he couldn't because he was so dense.  He wasn’t the only one you hated.  You wished they would have stopped him every step along the way.  You wished you had convinced him to stay!
Revenge.
You wanted to go after them ALL!   Akainu. Blackbeard.  You wanted to make them suffer like you.  You knew you could.  You were water.  And that was a Devil Fruit’s weakness.  You created a plan.  You had started making preparations.  You had found their current locations.  You were ready to avenge his death.  Until, Marco stopped you from going.
Bargaining.
What if I went with him? What if this, what if that.  You prayed and prayed that he would come back.  There were so many ifs.  You wished you could be sent back to change it all.  And if you were, you would be the best girlfriend and daughter in the world.
Depression.
Emptiness was all you felt.  You wanted to do nothing.  Not without Ace.  He might have been fire, but opposites attract.  Without him, you felt like there was no place to call home anymore.  Nothing made you happy.  You were numb.  Everyone tried to help you, but nothing helped you feel better.
Acceptance.
He was gone.  You knew that.  It still hurt, but it was time to go on.  Not because you didn’t love him.  You did it because that’s what he would want his favorite girl to do.  As you sailed on the ocean, in his striker he so loved.  You still knew he was there, but in spirit.  As you moved the striker with your water, you remembered his dying words.  The ocean continues to move even when everything seems hopeless.  Be the ocean.  Continue to move.  Thank you for loving me Y/N.”

These past two chapter were absolutely, gut-wrenching.. you see i went through the 5 stages of greif during every single scene, KW, i sincerely, madly and deeply would like to read an actual novel of yours, you are and absolute gem, one im very glad to know albeit being hidden.. it’s like you’re my little secret.
They way you describe killian and levi, the way you describe everything, make me feel as if im a part of them, i felt the harsh twist of switchblade, i felt the gunshot, i felt sofias sadness, i felt levi’s beating love for kilian, and i as much as i felt greif, i felt it’s warmth and it’s love.. I’m sorry if I’m not making any sense but your words made me absolutely speechless till the point idek what to say..
Every scene felt like a master scene and i really applause you for the way your wrote these chapters, it’s.. fascinating and mesmerizing really, the way you bend words under your mercy like some-kind of an alluring witch your writing is immaculate
When you blinked your eyes open, the first person you saw was Levi. His smile was bright and warm. It made you feel weightless. It made you feel loved. You smiled back, albeit weakly. Levi squeezed your hand gently, still smiling. “Welcome back, sweetheart,” he whispered.
CMON KW WTF IS THAT AND WHY IS MY HEART SHATTERED ON THE GROUND TO SHREDS.
Spoiler alert because i need to scream:
Okay now let’s first talk about mathias this stinky grey hairy ass stalkish asshole.. i want him dead like absolutely dead no breathing again for him😞 KILIAN MY SLEEPING BEAUTY RISE FROM DEATH AND SLIT HIS THROAT MY BABY ILL HAVE UR BACK
Okay i can’t not mention this jerk and not talk about the amazing.. like absolutely jaw dropping conversation he had with our fallen angel..
“We were bound to meet, and if you didn’t stop, I’m quite sure we would have,”
“What is that expression? ‘Better the devil you know than the devil you don’t?’ Well. I knew it was only a matter of time before you returned to the work you know best.”
Well i sure as hell didn’t expect that tbh.. i think i can’t describe what I’m feeling from how much I’ve felt during these few hours😭😭 HELP KW WHAT HAVE YOU DONE
Tell me something,” he said, slipping a hand in his pants pocket and sniffling. “Do you ever miss it? You must.”Your fingers ticked along your sides in response and Mathias grinned, like a wolf baring its teeth. “You do,” he said. “Don’t look so enraged at the thought. A devil cannot change no matter how hard they try. It doesn’t work that way. Still,” he said contemplatively, rubbing his thumb against his index finger and studying his hands. “I’m so pleased that in your attempt to change, it merely led you back to me,” he said, blinking fondly at you. You remained unfazed yet quiet, calculating every move possible in the brief moment of silence Mathias offered to you. He tilted his head at you and smiled, empty yet again. “From one devil to another, I really am glad to have finally met you, Kilian.”
THIS IS ICONIC IN EVERY LANGUAGE KNOWN TO MAN KIND—
Now excuse me i really need to have some sleep to function properly because i binged the 2 chapters and i can’t fathom what I’m saying or even type basic English anymore so that’s part one😭
Your lovely “💙“ anon
Omg, 💙 anon! It is SO lovely to hear from you my darling 😭❤️. I can't even begin to thank you for your thoughtfully detailed asks because you have sincerely made my days, both yesterday and today. I'll answer everything under a cut but seriously, thank you so much for this. I cherish you! 🥹
TRUTHFULLY, I MYSELF went through the 5 stages of grief writing this. LMAO! It was a deeply emotional process, but tbh, it is every time I write in some small way. I am so glad to be considered a gem to you. Really. ❤️ It's also honestly nice to be 'hidden', lol. I have never loved attention but despite that, I have a really solid, loyal following of readers and I love you all so much for sticking with me, whether you've been here since the beginning or just now made it. I love my little corner of solitude over here and I appreciate all of you for helping contribute to that.
And thank you for such a lovely compliment! I try so hard to tap into character emotions so if you can feel what they're feeling, you are fully immersed in the story which is what I always hope to achieve. I also put a lot of thought into each scene, choosing what to say and what not to say, so to be acknowledged for that means the world. Thank you so much for saying that. Also I will so take the title of a witch any day LOL! <3
Also ikr. Levi is such a sweet, sensitive person at his core that to see it spill out without hesitation now is really one of the purest things you could witness.
As for MATHIAS, writing that scene between him and Kilian was honestly like a fever dream. My hands were moving faster than my mind. I always knew from crafting his character who he was at his core, but to be able to reveal it to all of you made it all the more exciting. Like it had always been lurking underneath, under everything he did, and now you finally got to see him for what he was. If he ever alarmed you, you finally knew why. If he ever made you feel uneasy, now you could see why. It was such a pleasure to write that scene between the two of them!
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU, my lovely 💙 anon for taking time out of your day to message me something so sweet. I will answer your other ask later tonight, but please know how much I treasure you! :3

𝐜𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐨𝐰 ?
cw: healed self harm scars. none of these categories handle the issue particularly well. reader has been clean for a few years (wooo).
note: how do you write hcs mine always turn into bulleted scenarios. anyways, not sure how big the yttd and tr fan crossover is, but I hope you enjoy.
summary: how characters from tr and yttd are with an s/o who used to self harm.
wc: 865
Tumblr media
is oblivious: souya, takemitchi, ranmaru, chifuyu, kakucho, hayasaka, kai, joe
you always found it weird that your boyfriend was so comfortable around your scars. he didn't treat them any differently than the rest of your body, and tbh you weren't complaining.
still, his complete disinterest in the marks over the course of your long term relationship unnerved you. why didn't he say anything about them? you wore revealing outfits around him at times, so there was no way he had missed them.
when your 5 year anniversary of being clean came around, you were obviously thrilled and decided to invite ur bf out for an expensive supper.
probably asked you what the occasion for such a fancy meal was. when you told him, you were a bit worried of how he would react until he carefully asked what you meant by being clean.
you could only sit there, wondering if your had heard him correctly. no way your boyfriend was actually this, for lack of better words, dumb.
then everything started to make sense. when he had first seen the scars and asked how you had gotten them, you joked around and said they were from your cat. he had shrugged and told you they looked cool, and that had been the end of it.
keyword being joked. apparently the man had been living under a rock for the last ten years and hadn't realized the well... symbolism in your words.
to a normal person, this would have seemed fucked up but the situation was so hilarious that you were having a hard time keeping your laughter inside, almost choking on your spit while the other snobs at the restauraunt glared at you.
after you finally recovered from your giggling fit, you told him the truth. he still didn't fully understand, so he researched the psychology and reasons behind self harm later that night.
he probably went through all 5 stages of greif in a matter of minutes and was all in all, fucking devastated.
is physical: draken, mitsuya, ran, baji, hanma, wakasa, shinichiro, keiji, naomichi
the first time you showed him the healed scars, he went full ptv mode, asking you if he could kiss them. you had hesitantly agreed, a bit alarmed that a situation so many had described as well, cringe, was happening in your life. if you enjoy it, he'll take any chance he gets to do it again. if you don't he'll never bring the event up again.
whether he's trying to be romantic or looking for an excuse to kiss you more is unclear, but the extra attention always manages to cheer you up.
the type to be fascinated by your scars. you know the thing where your scars look more pronounced when you stretch or squeeze the skin around them? being as physically affectionate as he was, he ended up doing it to you all the time.
feels kind of bad about it when he considers how they got there, but enjoys playing with your thighs/arms/stomach and body in general too much to stop.
not the type to walk on egg shells with your scars, but if somebody else doesn't give you the respect you deserve? watch out, because he might just kill them.
his protective instincts are set off whenever you hold a particularly sharp object like a knife or fabric scissors but he ignores the feeling. he knew you'd tease him for acting like a mom and roleplaying as one of your parental figures was the last thing he wanted to do
also has them: mikey, kazutora, sanzu, izana, hakkai, shin, alice
when you told him about your scars, he didn't have the usual reaction. no, the man ripped his pants off to reveal some of his (healed ofc, he would never try to trigger you) own.
a reverse comfort moment. you hadn't expected you to be the one consoling him, but here you were. it was the first time he'd shown them to anyone else, and you were honored that he trusted you enough to do so.
eventually starts wearing your oversized shirts around the house, and because you only owned a few (which he practically stole from you), you wore his. if people visited your shared apartment early in the morning, they'd find both of you wearing each others clothes.
it looked pretty fucking stupid, but you and him had grown to reliant on the comfort that sharing a wardrobe brought to quit doing so.
talks about your angsty teenage years become common place. you end up knowing all of each others embarrassing edge lord moments, and it was fun knowing that neither of you would try to force the other into therapy, instead laughing at how wrong everything had went.
it always made you sad to think about everything he went through, but then you'd remember he probably felt the same way about you, and your heart would warm up again.
whenever he was feeling down, tracking you down was at the top of his list. whether it was snuggling, bathing or napping together, he loved you so much he felt like his heart could burst.
definitely used to hate winter, the lack of light and depressing cold making it awful for his mental health, but with you around? the season became an excuse to huddle together much more often than usual.

Q&A: ‘Dear Evan Hansen’ Comes to Florida
Dear Evan Hansen comes to the Broward Center for the Performing Arts from Tuesday, March 26 through Sunday, April 7, and to two locations in Central Florida: at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts from April 9-14, and the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts from April16-21. It  is the winner of six 2017 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, features a book by Tony Award-winner Steven Levenson, a score by Grammy, Tony and Academy Award winners Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (La La Land, The Greatest Showman), and direction by four-time Tony Award nominee Michael Greif (Rent, Next to Normal).
Declared “one of the most remarkable shows in musical theater history” by the Washington Post’s Peter Marks, Dear Evan Hansen opened at the Music Box Theatre to rave reviews on December 4, 2016, where its broken all box office records and struck a chord with critics and audiences alike.
In addition to winning six Tony awards, Dear Evan Hansen has won numerous other awards, including the 2017 Drama League Award for Outstanding Musical Production and for the off-Broadway production, two Obie Awards, a Drama Desk Award, and two Outer Critics Circle Awards and two Helen Hayes Awards. The show’s original cast won a Daytime Emmy Award for “Best Musical Performance on a Daytime Talk Show” for their April 2017 performance of “You Will Be Found” on NBC’s “Today Show,” only the second Broadway show in history to win that category. The Broadway production recently celebrated its two-year anniversary with a special donation to the Smithsonian, where the show’s iconic blue polo and arm cast will now be part of the permanent collection at the National Museum of American History in Washington D.C.
The Grammy Award-winning Original Broadway Cast Recording of Dear Evan Hansen, produced by Atlantic Records, was released in February 2017, making an extraordinary debut on the Billboard 200 and entering the chart at #8 – the highest charting debut position for an original cast album since 1961 – and went on to win the 2018 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album. A Deluxe Album of the Grammy-winning cast recording, with six bonus tracks including “Waving Through a Window” performed by pop star Katy Perry, was released digitally by Atlantic Records on November 2, 2018.
A special edition coffee table book authored by Levenson, Pasek and Paul, Dear Evan Hansen: through the window is now available, offering an in-depth, all-access look at the musical, including never-before-seen production photos and cast portraits, behind-the-scenes stories, and a fully annotated script by the authors.
It was a pleasure to sit down with Stephen Christopher Anthony, who plays the Evan Alternate and grew up right here in Florida.

At what age did you begin performing, and how did it happen?
I started performing when I was about 10 years old. My mom encouraged me to audition for a show and I literally have not stopped since then. I did five shows that very first year. I then went to an arts middle school, and have been in musical theater since.
What was your first professional/paid role?
When I was 10 I was in the Secret Garden at Actors Playhouse on Miracle Mile. I then I did Summer Stock all through college and fresh out of Florida State I did Catch Me If You Can.
youtube
How did you get cast in this Broadway Across America production of Dear Evan Hansen?
My agents reached out with the opportunity to audition, and after my first audition I went and saw the show. After seeing the show I did eight rounds of auditions and I was in Miami visiting family when I found out I got the job.
Knowing the role of Evan won the Tony Award, is there a lot of pressure performing it?
There is a certain amount of pressure, but it’s less about the award and more about that the show is a gift to the audience. It’s rare you do a show that is changing lives. So many people are able to find themselves in these characters.
Other than this role, what has been your favorite to play?
This is my favorite thing I have ever done, but I did love doing Catch Me If You Can as I loved playing a chameleon that got to blend in.
What is your fantasy role?
I would love to do The Last Five Years.
How did you meet your partner?
We were set up on a blind date four years ago, and we instantly broke out in nervous sweats. We sort of knew right away.
Is it hard to be apart?
It’s very hard to be apart, as he is an actor also and travels. We try and meet yup as much as possible and see new cities together.
Are you looking forward to coming back to Florida?
Yeah, I can’t wait as I am going to be staying in my home with my family and playing with my family dog. I am also so excited to go back to the beach.
What should our readers expect from this production of Dear Evan Hansen?
It is one of the most intimate experiences that I have ever felt as an audience member. Every person sitting in the audience can see themselves in some way on the stage. It’s a show about healing and embracing yourself, scars and all, and making the most of every day. I am so excited to be bringing this show back to my home state.
