For as long as Charlie could remember the thing he wanted to experience the most was a New York Christmas. He remembered watching a film with his sister one year of a boy lost in the city and the lights and the giant tree in the city was something he wanted for the two of them.

While that could not be a dream that came true. A new one arose now.

Standing in the freezing air in midtown, Christmas was three weeks away and he was determined to do all those traditional things with his family. They stood with other families in Rockefeller Plaza awaiting the lighting of the tree.

Orion clung to Anna's side, not wanting to get lost as they waited for the countdown to begin and Charlie went off to get them hot coco's. "Excuse me, pardon me," he said as he made his way back to his family. "Two coco's." A smile beamed at them as he held them out to take. "I haven't missed anything yet have I?" Joy vibrated through him excited to experience this as he picked up the boy and helped him up his shoulders so he could get a better view.
