I'm a mother of a 2-year-old child. His name is yousef...I see my son growing up in front of me and I do not know how or when. This is not what I wished for him. I was dreaming of a wonderful life to spend with him...a life not full of death, fear, destruction and deprivation...I wanted to fill his room with toys and his closet with clothes, and I wanted to buy children's books for him, but I couldn't... the war came and the wishes were gone...my goal became to provide him with milk and food. I can barely afford anything. Everything is expensive and we no longer have income to enable us to buy his needs. Kram eggs have been deprived of many of his basic needs. He has been deprived of safety and stability..No, fruits, or meat.

There is nothing but fear that fills my son's eyes as soon as he hears the voices around him. He does not realize what It happens outside, but he feels and sees it in our eyes when he looks at us.I cannot protect myself and my son. Help me to save my son yousef. He deserves a better life, as do all the children of Gaza and the world.

Little Majd needs your help

Majd Al-Habeel @youseffamily has known little of life without suffering. After losing his home to IOF bombardment, he and his parents were forced to live in a tent. This wreaked havoc on Majd’s health, as he is diagnosed with a serious respiratory illness that limits his ability to breathe. Living in a tent leaves one exposed to dust, dirt, debris, vermin, mold, fungus, and harsh weather—the worst possible environment for a child with his condition.

His family requires mutual aid to provide for Majd’s life-saving care, as well as to procure food, water, medications, other supplies, and clothing and gear for winter. They are a little over two-thirds of the way to their current listed goal, with still a long way to go. Please help this family out and give sweet Majd a better chance at life.

Falestine Jad Al-Haq is a 36 year old mother of a baby named Youssef, who's only a few months old. She have birth to give in the harsh conditions of the war and she was moved from the hospital to the tent they were staying at immediately after. She can't afford basic necessities for him like milk, diapers, medicine, and vitamins. This family is now living on the streets next dilapidated public toilet, with sewage, dirt, and waste all around them, increasing their risk of diseases. Along with this are the risks from the heat, insects, scorpions, death, bombs, missiles, hunger, and pollution. Along with the struggles of all this, Falestine is grieving the loss of her father who died of a stroke. And her mother suffers from chronic diseases which require medical treatment. Lina Zeyad is an attorney and mother from north Gaza. To put it mildly, she has had an extremely difficult year.

She and her family have been displaced from their home by occupation bombing, and were forced to flee various shelters under threat of IOF assault numerous times. Her youngest son then contracted Hepatitis C after having to drink contaminated water, requiring medical treatment.

THEN, to add to her difficulties, Tumblr staff terminated her account with no warning or explanation. They have failed to restore it, leaving Lina with minimal contact with the outside world. I lost contact with Lina for several months, and was only able to confirm her condition after her son Youssef created a Tumblr account @yousefleena .

Every displacement costs money for transport, accommodations, and basic necessities. Additionally, a high cost must be paid for medical treatment and to procure food and water. Despite this ongoing need, Lina’s campaign has reached a virtual standstill. Astonishingly, after all these months, she has only achieved a depressing 5% of its goal.

They were deprived of their most basic rights as children, their right to education, play and live safely like the rest of the children in the world. They were terrified and very afraid of the sounds of missiles. Our house was bombed while we were inside it and some of us were injured, but we miraculously survived. My house was completely destroyed in Khan Younis and I headed to the displacement camps on the beach. I had a beautiful house and I had clothing stores, but they were completely destroyed during the brutal war on the Gaza Strip, which was a source of income for us.
