the thing is. i’m a proponent of samdean starting precanon. not always but in a lot of contexts i like it. it just makes so much SENSE. the reason they act Like That in the first episode. deans constant nostalgiaing about wanting things to go back to the Way They Were Before. two teenagers kept continually isolated from the world (in terms of being unable to build lasting connections) sharing a room in a motel their whole life their only model a guy who’s excellent at blurring lines. but their age gap is 4 years that’s a lot for teenagers. immediate insane power imbalance. icl in any form of weecest sam is a victim on some level no matter how you spin it

Okay I think I’ve started to understand something about sex in Supernatural. The comments that Sam and Dean receive from people like Hendricksen’s comments about assuming their father sexually abused them are not just about sex but about class. Though instead of just being about class I would argue they are about Sam and Dean being coded as rural or as belonging to a peripheral space than solely about them being poor. Despite how many rural places may seem on the surface, sexual deviance is higher in those places than in more urban ones. This was demonstrated in the Kinsley study finding higher rates of homosexual activity in rural areas and in the (well known on tumblr at least) queer history of cowboys. This is because there is less enforcement of social rules in peripheral spaces and individuals can find a greater degree of freedom. This also applies to more harmful deviant sexual practices. Isolation also means that physically abusive sexual relationships and sexually abusive familial relationships are more likely to go undiscovered. The way that rural communities become close knit and refuse to see any flaws within themselves means that it’s easier to hide these relationships within the community. These sort of abusive relationships are associated with the rural poor in part because those social conditions do foster these things and in part through reinforcement when we see them in media. So when other characters make comments about assuming incest, sexual abuse, or homosexuality this is innately tied to the coding of Sam and Dean as rural and poor. The sexual microagressions are classist microagressions.

this is a variation on the GoE outfit. I've changed it since 2021 a few times. But in the end I went back relatively to its very first version with a few changes. But in doing so, I wanted to make the new outfit harmonize with Deathpierce’s armor.

I've had this long white dress for a long time. And I think everyone has seen it many times. But besides it, I want to add more outfits for variety. The long version of the dress I use for the time period before the main plot of 7ds. And the short version, I suppose, this is about 1-2 seasons nnt(but it's not exact)

you can see the other collar here. This was the original version of the outfit, but at some point I abandoned the idea.

Deathpierce when he found out that Lucy knew about Hendricksen and Vivian's dealings in Liones, but didn't tell him anything. And now he's wondering if she was their accomplice.

She was in close touch with Vivian and knew of many of her affairs. But she preferred to stay out of it as much as possible. Though when the truth about what was going on in Lioness came out, Lucy had gotten in trouble for it. However, many in Lioness were doing the bidding of Hendriksen and Dreyfus. so there's literally two. the one i have more work on actually heavily involves cas. because they catch dean and [human] cas. in season ten. (cas stayed human after s9 in this au. for fun). and by the time the feds show up, dean is actually in the hospital because he hasn't had a drink in over 48 hours and he's going into delirium tremens. so the feds alternate between updating their theories about the winchesters in discussions among themselves, and trying to interrogate this john doe they can't identify bc he won't give a real full name (perhaps he is a kidnapping victim?). inspirations include the "minimal loss" series by eden22, "when the road is as dark as my fears" by apokteino, and "he ain't heavy he's my brother" by castiel_for_king
