Isekaied as the Yandere Villain!? Pt 2
Part one
Tumblr media
It was almost 2 minutes before I realized I was still dragging the crown prince behind me. I quickly dropped his hand and looked at him, not able to hide the embarrassment on my face. Listen- I’m committed to the bit. I WILL be the crazy jealous fiancé. But… I’m still human ok. I just dragged a full grown man down several halls and a flight of stairs while I spaced out thinking about how I’m gonna buy my cat premium wet food once I get back home to her.
It’s fine, I’m not flustered at spacing out about my cat, my characters just flustered because she’s been holding the hand of the man she’s obsessed with, that’s all!
“Well…. Did you still want to dine and take that walk?”
I expected him to scold me for my mistreatment of Cressida, grow irritated from me dragging him along like this. Instead, he chuckles and threads his arm in mine, and begins escorting me down the hall.
“Absolutely, have you dined outside by the roses yet? There’s this lovely pavilion that I am eager to hear your thoughts on.”
And that’s how I found myself under an impressive array of roses, all trained up and around a cozy dining area, creating a canopy of green and pink over an intimate tea table. The food was equally impressive, I had to keep reminding myself that the other me is used to this lavish lifestyle, to not gawk at the fancy tiny sandwiches and deserts.
“Well? Is everything to your liking? ”
I’m going off script here, how am I supposed to know how the villainess would react to a romantic scene like this?? If my “evil crazy” side isn’t supposed to be directed at him, and she’s usually kinda distant and unsure around him…. That means I should probably respond pretty curtly, polite, yet not really engaging. But…. I’ve already messed that up…. I guess I can be more genuine when it’s the two of us like this. He can think that this version of me is the facade, that I’m pretending to be pleasant, and then will start to see what a jerk “I” truly am when Cressida’s around. Besides…. I almost feel bad for the villainess. She really just seems like she was shy. Who knows- maybe, if given the opportunity, she really would have opened up more. It’s clear she loved the prince, and just didn’t know how to show it. So, with that thought, I made up my mind.
“It’s breathtaking! Roses are my favorite flower, and I’ve never seen so many kinds in bloom at once…. Plus the food and company leave little to be desired.”
There you go- slip in some subtle flirting! I’m not quite sure what time period this is supposed to be, but I get the impression flirting as bit more high class here, and I think I can have some fun with that.
“I’m glad, to be honest I was a bit flustered asking you to dine with me… you caught me quite off guard today, but in a good way.” He reaches his hand across the table and places it on my own, “I’d like to do this more often, you and I. I feel like the confines of our current arrangement have left us practically strangers, despite being engaged for several months already. I’m enjoying just being companionable with you, even if it’s just existing comfortably in the same room.”
Ohhhh, I know I’m the villain in this story but I can’t help but root for him- what a sweetheart! It’s so obvious he’s been lonely, I can’t wait for him and Cressida to fall in love and have a couple of kids that they’ll spoil rotten. And in the meantime…. Maybe I do have a bit of evil in me, because I’m going to selfishly enjoy this handsome man treating me to lunches under roses and reading in cozy libraries while I can.
“I know exactly how you feel your highness. Now, you mentioned a walk?”
We spent the afternoon laughing and chatting, and it felt nice to chat without worrying too much about my role. He asked me about that book I picked out earlier, and listened attentively as I caught him up with where I’m at in the plot. In turn, I asked about what papers he’s been signing, documents he’s been drafting, etc.
The only thing I had to do was send glares to any young ladies we passed, settling my hand on his arm possessively, and I saw their eyes widen and faces disappear behind fans as they whisper to one another. I can picture this illustrated in a manhwa- the nasty princess sinking her claws into the gullible prince… hopefully all these ladies will start gossiping and we can really cement this evil persona of mine now that Cressida’s here.
Tumblr media
When we returned to our separate apartments, I explored my rooms a bit until servants came to get me ready for dinner, and I slipped back into the frigid bitch persona. The servant girls dressed me in a slightly stuffy gown, but I had to admit, I looked gorgeous. I sat stiff and straight as they did my hair, forcing myself to be the very picture of cold indifference. I then dismissively thanked them for their help, then sat there awkwardly as they stared at me like I was crazy.
Ohhhh shit…. The original story hadn’t prepared me for this. My character was a villain, yes, but a side character for the most part! How was she supposed to act towards her servants? I went over what I knew- the novel showed the villainess alone quite often, usually obsessing over Eric and plotting/stalking. It showed her with Eric, and how distant and awkward their relationship was when together. And then of course the numerous scenes with Cressida where the Villainess did all sorts of heinous things to the sweet girl. But… it never depicted her with servants, or even any friends or other nobles. Just… Eric and Cressida. Was other me not actually a bitch all the time? Am I being unnecessarily rude right now? Oh god I’m such an idiot.
The story is told through Cressida’s point of view- of course there’s more depth to my own character than I initially thought! The Villianess must be a misunderstood introvert! Unsure of how to act around her crush, she’s fiercely insecure and jealous of this new girl who doesn’t struggle the same way she does. When she notices the prince slipping from her grasp, she acts out against Cressida because she can’t bear to lose Eric!
As someone’s who’s worked minimum wage jobs and struggled with social anxiety most of my life, I try to be nice to the people just working to survive, but here I am acting like these poor women are the dirt beneath my shoe…. Ok. Um. Well they’re still standing there in shock, I can fix this….
“You really did a lovely job… my hair has never looked so gorgeous, you’re truly talented! And I think the prince will be very pleased with this choice of ribbon!”
There- I was nicer, and I brought it back to Eric, so I’m still the lovesick fiancé whose entire world is waiting for her in the dining room. I frowned as the servants scuttled out of the room with hurried excuses, all of them looking like they were about to faint. Damn it… I can’t believe I misread the relationship between us. I probably just ruined their night by being uncharacteristically rude. I’ve gotta learn their names next time…. Maybe ask them to help me eat some fancy pastries as an apology…?
Tumblr media
I didn’t know it, but while I was lamenting how wrong I was about the Villainess’ character, the servants were all gossiping to the others about what had just transpired.
“You’re telling me she said THANK YOU!?”
“Yes!!! And then you should have seen how nervous she got! She just rambled, blurting out such a sweet compliment, and she even tied it back to the prince!”
“I had no idea how precious she was… I can’t believe I never realized she’s just shy! In a new place, all alone aside from her new fiancé…. Who I gather she’s got a bit of a crush on! Poor dear.”
“Ohh our sweet girl, I’m sure it must be hard bonding with the prince, when all you do is sit yards apart and hardly speak …”
“Well I may have some news about that… and it’s no wonder she was a bit flustered today, because I saw the two of them in the gardens today! They were both nothing but smiles- absolutely smitten with one another!”
“Such a lovely girl, and we never knew it all this time!”
Apparently, I had it backwards. The real villainess truly was a 2D, basic character. She was insecure and possessive over the prince, bullying Cressida half to remind her who Eric belonged to, half for the fun of it. But she didn’t let on to anyone about the true depth of her love for him. She didn’t gossip to her handmaid, didn’t ask the servants which dress he would like better. Simply acted as if they did not exist, hardly saying a word to them.
While I thought my blunt “thank you” was colder than they were used to, and then tried to smooth things over…. It was more words than they’d heard from me in the whole time I’d lived in the palace. They lapped it up and declared me their own shy little dove after that.
Tumblr media
When I arrived to dinner, I realized why daily dinners weren’t exactly a bonding activity for the villainess and Eric. The table was massive, and only held two chairs, one at either end. It felt so…. Cold?
Eric had beat me there, and quickly stood up from his seat, waiting until I sat and a servant pushed in my chair to retake his own seat. He smiled at me and said,
“Good evening, princess.”
He had to project his voice slightly. It wasn’t like he was shouting or being loud, it was just the manner of speaking you use when talking to an elderly relative, clearer, and enunciating better so they could hear you.
I replied back, projecting my voice similarly, and found the conversation was, in fact, more awkward than it had been earlier. We ate our food mostly in silence, occasionally one of us would say something and the other would stop moving their utensils on their plate, listening closer as they ask,
“What’s that?”
By the time dinner was over and we each went to bed, I felt drained. I could have just been louder I suppose- but it’s so hard to keep up a conversation like that. I know we get along- we had chatted all afternoon after all. But some part of me realized it’s probably good to keep a bit of distance between us, even if I’ve rewritten things to be a bit chummier between the two of us. Cressida needs to swoop in and steal him from me… and my job is still to leave that room for her to do so.
It’s hard trying to be someone else, yet also making sure you lead the plot in the right direction- it’s exhausting! I feel like both director and actress!
It’s with this in mind that I launch myself into the softest bed I’d ever felt, and passed out. My first day as princess consort, the Yandere fiancé, complete.
Tumblr media
While I was getting acquainted with my feather bed, Eric was speaking with the head waitstaff.
“Yes, tomorrow, would you mind adjusting the seating situation? I’d like for the princess consort and I to be closer together from now on. Yes, and ask my assistant to arrange my schedules like so, I’ve detailed it here. Thank you.”
At the same time, Cressida was recounting her run in with the prince and I to her handmaiden as she finishing unpacking and settling into her family’s guest apartments. Which, unbeknownst to me… was right across the hall.
Tumblr media
Series discontinued- sorry my loves. Ik y’all wanted more but the good news is that I’ve seen several really talented authors picking up this idea and executing it wayyyy better than my sporadic mood writing ever could.

The only way Yoongi, your brother-in-law, would agree to be your sperm donor is if he could be the one to fuck said sperm into you.

Valentine's Day Masterlist - Part Two
 “Y/N…?”
The last person he was expecting to see at his door was you, his brother’s wife. The same brother he is currently estranged from thanks to his parents, who had pinned them against one another the entirety of their lives.
Yo-han, Yoongi’s older brother, wasn’t the prodigal son in their parents' eyes. Yoongi was. Yo-han did exactly what was expected of him. He had high grades in school while Yoongi didn’t, though it didn’t mean he didn’t pass. Yo-han went above and beyond with his studies while Yoongi did enough to pass. His B’s didn’t compare to his brothers A’s.
Yo-han went to college and was on the dean’s list. He worked his way up from the bottom just as his parents desired. He had a high paying job right outside of college and was able to give back to the parents that gave everything they could to their two sons.
Yoongi, however, went down an unforgivable path. How dare their son have his own dreams and aspirations. How dare he not want to go to college like his elder brother and work his way up the corporate ladder? Why would he spend nearly a decade of his life pursuing a career in music when obviously that wasn’t going to take him anywhere in life?
Even now, after his music did take off and touring the world, there was a loneliness in him. He felt that even now that he’s proven himself worthy, his parent’s didn’t think so.
“Yoongi.” you flash him a smile, holding onto your purse a bit tighter. You’re unsure if you being here was appropriate. You’ve only ever seen Yoongi a handful of times, all in which was left with the man leaving far too early. He wasn’t even present on your wedding day. “Are you busy?”
Yoongi blinks a few times and proceeds to open the door to his home a bit wider. “Did you want to come in?” he asks, uncertain if that’s what you wanted.
“Yes, thank you!” you nod. “I wanted to talk to you about something if that was okay with you?”
Yoongi steps out of the way as you enter, your heels clicking against the hardwood floor as you enter the foyer of his home. You take them off, turning towards Yoongi with a small grin.
“I don’t mean to seem rude, Y/N,” Yoongi begins, closing the front door to his home. It’s lavish, you’d admit, high ceilings and furnished quite modernly. “but why are you here? Is Yo-han okay?”
Yoongi allows you to come deeper into his home. The living space is large and homely. He offers you a seat on his leather chair and he rounds the corner to a bar area where there’s an array of wine aligning the wall.
“Wine?” Yoongi questions. “I have…harder liquor, too.” he’s a bit awkward when speaking with you. You were his brother’s wife for nearly five years now and he has no relationship with you.
“I’ll have whatever you’re having.”
“Whiskey it is then.”
Wasn’t expecting that, especially at this time, but you aren’t going to complain. Yoongi places two clear cups onto the coffee table in front of each of you as he sits across from you. He pours the whiskey in two clear glasses and slides you one.
“What do I owe the visit, Y/N?” Yoongi asks, taking a sip of his drink.
“I hope I’m not interrupting.” you murmur, manicured hands grasping the glass and shaking it around a bit. “Yo-han doesn’t know I’m here. He’s on a business trip.”
Yoongi furrows a brow. He watches you for a moment, pondering why you are telling him all of this and what was the real reason you were here.
“You…are a very amazing artist.”
Yoongi blinks.
“Did you come all this way to tell me that?” Yoongi questions with a scoff.
“No, I’m sorry.” you murmur. You drink the whiskey in whole. It hits your throat and burns immediately, but you need all the liquid courage available. “Can I have more?”
Nodding slowly, Yoongi watches as you pour yourself more and down half of it. Your chest heaves a bit.
“Is everything okay, Y/N? You look nervous?” Yoongi notes. “Is everything alright with you and Yo-han?”
You nod hastily with a wave. “Yes, everything is fine. Promise.” you laugh, but even you sound unsure of yourself.
Yoongi doesn’t pry any further.
“You don’t come around often, Yoongi.” you state. “I feel as if I don’t truly know you personally. I see you as Suga. Or Agust D.”
Yoongi furrows his brows. Was that why you’re here? To get to know him better? Even after all these years he finds it unbelievable, but possible.
“I’m aware. I’m sure you know I’m not the favorite.” Yoongi responds, almost bitterly. “Even after the home I bought my parents.”
The last line was uncalled for. By social media posts, Yoongi’s sure you have a good relationship with his parents, but everything that glitter isn’t exactly gold, right?
“Yo-han speaks of you fondly.”
“Does he?” Yoongi snickers. He drinks the whiskey and decides that he should probably follow your lead. “That’s nice to know, right? My older brother finally sees me as worthy enough to speak about after my success.”
Your foot taps lightly against the floor in nervousness. You bite your lip. Was this the right thing to ask without your husband's approval? You knew Yo-han loved his brother, but at times he would joke about how long it took for Yoongi’s music to take off, no matter how good said music was.
“Do you have a girlfriend?”
Yoongi is silent on your question. It comes randomly after a few moments of silent drinking.
“I apologize if that’s too personal-”
“It’s fine, Y/N.” Yoongi shakes his head. “No, I do not. I often shut myself into my craft too long. I’m a perfectionist and I don’t really have time to settle down.”
You nod in agreement. You noticed in Yoongi’s music how serious he took it - the touring, as well. Having a family wasn’t something he desired now and you could respect it fully.
“What about you and Yo-han?” Yoongi speaks up. “Are you trying for a baby? My mother always said she wanted to be a grandmother.” he chuckles a bit at how hard his mother can be.
You inhale deeply, placing the cup onto the coffee table. Exhaling, you nod your head.
“That’s what I wanted to speak with you about, actually.”
“Oh?” Yoongi furrows a single brow. He leans back into his seat. “I take it as you aren’t pregnant now for obvious reason.” he says, motioning to the liquor on the coffee table and your empty glass.
“You’re right, not yet.” you chuckle humorlessly. You needed to do this. No going back. After all, the worst thing Yoongi could say was “no” and that would be perfectly fine with you. “Yo-han works a lot.”
Yoongi nods a bit. “I understand. Our family can be workaholics.” he says. “He couldn’t take Valentine’s Day off?” he jokes a bit. Valentine’s day didn’t matter to people like him. He was single.
“He never does.” you admit, crossing your legs. Yoongi tilts his head, observing the look in your eyes. “We tend to celebrate it the first week of February then he’s out of town for work the following week.”
“You can’t go with him?” Yoongi questions with a shrug. He knows you don’t work. Yo-han had always stated that he wanted a stay at home wife. Life could be boring for you, he’s sure. You were alone often and didn’t have anything to do if you weren’t one that was big on hobbies.
“Yo-han prefers for me to stay home.”
“You say his name a lot.” Yoongi hums. He pours himself another shot. “You say what he wants a lot, too, Y/N. You haven’t said anything you wanted yet.”
You bite your bottom lip as Yoongi states the obvious. He drinks his whiskey as he watches you, awaiting for you to respond.
“I want a baby.”
Yoongi licks his lips of the whiskey. It’s beginning to fall down his throat like water now.
“That’s nice. Are you two trying for one?”
Speaking with you was becoming more relaxing. He wished he would have more of a brother/sister-in-law relationship with you prior to now, but maybe you coming here was an attempt in doing just that.
“Yo-han-”
“Doesn’t want kids? Doesn’t want kids now?” Yoongi finishes your sentence with a furrow of his brows. His lips turn into a smirk. “Am I right?”
“You are.” you sigh, body warm with embarrassment. “He…he’s very cautious. He doesn’t even…” Should you be discussing your husband with his brother like this? “...allow himself to not wear condoms.”
Yoongi doesn’t want to appear rude when he laughs, but it sounds exactly like the Yo-han he knows. The same Yo-han that doesn’t want to have anyone stop him from climbing to the top - not even if it’s what his own wife wants. The same wife he forces to stay home alone half of the time. You couldn’t make any of this up.
“I was correct when I said everything that glitter isn’t gold.” Yoongi murmurs to himself, deciding to pour himself another shot. This time, he pours you one. Seemed like you needed it. “Do you have friends?”
You scoff at his question, taking the glass and downing the shot alongside him. “Are you calling me a lonely bitch?”
Yoongi laughs aloud while shaking his head. “Of course not!” he exclaims. “You being here…is not what I expected. It’s nice, though. Not everyone can keep up with drinking with me.”
You notice how much Yoongi and Yo-han looked alike. The dark hair that frames their face with eyes to match. Pale, smooth skin that appears like glass as it’s clear of blemishes. Yoongi was much more youthful, allowing himself to  joke with you in a way your husband doesn’t.
“My friends are all busy with their own lives and children.” you state with a shrug. “I’m sorry I’ve come unannounced.”
“You’re always welcomed, Y/N. You’re family.” Yoongi waves off. “You’re the only family that comes.”
The pair of you both sound bitter for your own reasonings. Wishing to ask him something makes your heart jolt in betrayal as you hadn’t bothered to gain a relationship with your brother-in-law prior to now. It made you appear selfish as this was your only goal.
“Why the long face?”
Yoongi’s voice brings you out of your thoughts.
“I feel selfish for being here.” you admit. ‘’I came…to ask you something.”
Yoongi blinks. “That’s okay.” he says, placing his glass down onto the coffee table. “What do you need?”
Your palms grow sweaty as Yoongi appears genuinely willing to help. The years you’ve sat and listened to your husband bash his younger brother for not having the same aspirations of him makes you wish you spoke up on his behalf more often.
“Y/N…?”
“I wanted your sperm so I can have a baby.” you blurt out, embarrassment flowing throughout your entire body. He possibly thinks you’re in need of money and here you are asking for his sperm. “But now I know I sound like a fucking lunatic asking you-”
“Y/N,”
“-and I should just go now, right?” you laugh nervously with a shake of your head. “Yo-han doesn’t want kids and me pretending that this child is his isn’t fair to him or you-”
“Y/N.”
“-and I’m such a bitch for-”
“Y/N!”
You stop your rambling with Yoongi’s voice echoing off of his walls and high ceiling.
“I’m sorry for raising my voice. You weren’t listening to me.” Yoongi apologizes.
“You’re not the asshole they make you out to be.” you blurt out. Maybe this was the alcohol talking now, allowing you not to hold in anything any longer. “I’m sorry-”
“None taken.” Yoongi snickers. He knows how he is spoken about in his family and it doesn’t bother him as it once did, even if it does still sting a bit.
“Please forget I said anything, Yoongi.”
“Why?”
You freeze at Yoongi’s question. Slowly, your eyes lift to his, to find that he’s already looking your way.
“You want a baby, right?” Yoongi asks. “You’ve come to me for help.”
“I do…” you trail off. “But coming to you was selfish-”
“I’ll do it.”
You stare at Yoongi in disbelief. Maybe he was just drunk and agreeing to it because it sounds like the right thing to do at the moment.
“Do you know what you’re saying?” you queried.
“Do you know what you’re asking of me?” he shots back. “I agreed.”
“I…I wasn’t expecting to get this far, Yoongi.” you murmur. You lean up a bit, eyes cloudy.
Yoongi chuckles at your reaction. It’s sad that he was going to make his own proposition to this.
“How did you expect to go about this exactly?”
“Well,” you lift yourself up to round the coffee table to sit beside Yoongi on his loveseat. “we can go to a clinic, right? You can…ejaculate-”
“Cum.”
Your body warms once more, but you nod your head with a little laugh. “Yes. Cum.” you say. “In a cup and I suppose the doctor can-”
“I don’t want to do that.”
Yoongi thinks for a moment that it isn’t fair to you with what he’s about to say next. It isn’t your fault that you were married into this family of his, nor should he take the frustration of his brother out on you. But he wouldn’t force anything onto you, and once he sobered up more, he would do as you asked and go to a clinic.
But as for now, Yoongi was being selfish.
“I want to do it naturally.”
The silence that comes afterwards is telling. You could hear a pin drop in the living area. Your eyes slowly wide towards Yoongi as he watches you as relaxed as ever.
“You want to fuck me?’
Maybe your response is crude, but his proposal was, as well. You were married to his brother and this would obviously be inappropriate.
However, so were you coming here behind your husband's back. It was a lose-lose situation either way.
“I know it’s wrong to want.” Yoongi admits, leaning into the leather couch. “But…”
Yoongi doesn’t finish his statement but you’re positive you understand what he’s attempting to say. You admitted to the things said about him and now it’s a form of revenge. You couldn’t be upset about it, truly.
“You…you won’t tell anyone?” you whisper, so low that it barely catches Yoongi’s ears. “It’ll be a secret you and I die on, right?”
Yoongi himself is astonished that you’re even considering it. He leans forward a bit with a lick of his lips.
“I won’t tell a soul.” Yoongi murmurs. “I’m not forcing you into doing this, Y/N. I’m a little drunk, I’m not going to lie.” he advises. Looking into your eyes, he doesn’t want to be that person. You’re already taken advantage of  enough by your husband. “You can come back in a few hours when I sober up and we can set up a meeting-”
“I want to.” you place a hand onto Yoongi’s cheek to silence him. “I want you to fuck a baby into me.”
Yoongi is but a man, and the words alone cause him to grow hard. He doesn’t act first, you do. You place your lips onto his, deepening the kiss needily. Maybe it was because you wanted to feel a man's hands on you, as selfish as it was. You missed your husband and only sleeping with him once a month before he eventually goes on another work trip causes you to be lonely.
Yoongi himself cannot remember when he’s been with a woman. He has random hookups that always signed with an NDA before anything happens, but that’s during tour, not as he’s recording an album. The liquor flowing through him adds the courage to wrap both arms around you and bring you into his lap.
Yoongi’s hands are large as they rub along your body, causing moans to bubble up your throat but fall silent at your lips. This was wrong in so many ways. You are his sister-in-law, and beyond popular belief, he held a lot of respect for you. Only a strong woman could deal with Min Yo-han and his parents. However, the dirty words that you spoke to him were so tempting. He believes every man - even if they want a child or not - has a certain kink to them that is excited to impregnate a woman.
Yoongi isn’t alone with the same thoughts. Yo-han and Yoongi favored each other so much, but were so different. Yo-han is often straight to the point, sometimes not even kissing you. Yoongi is different, he takes this slow. He allows his hands to roam your body with such greed, as if it belongs to him - and for tonight, it does. He kisses your lips needily, but he savors the taste of them. He allows his lips to fall onto your chin to leave wet little pecks that lower to your neck.
“There’s no going back, Y/N.”
Yoongi’s voice is so deep against your neck. He’s fighting against his morals now, wanting nothing more than to fuck you like you want him to. Yet, he understands that this is wrong to take advantage of you in a vulnerable position. You didn’t come here for this.
“I know.” you moan back, your hips buckling. “Do you want to stop?”
Yoongi swallows. His hands settle onto your waist. “We…should…” he murmurs. As painful as it was for him to say. His hands grip onto your waist, his body going against what his mouth is speaking. “...we should stop this but…” he groans, his lips kissing against your neck.
“No one has to know.” you respond, your own hands tugging at Yoongi’s dark tresses a bit.
Yoongi will know, and so will you. When you fall pregnant and grow round with his child, he would know that it was him who did it for you. When you hold the child and raise it, it would be dark eyes that belonged to Yoongi, not Yo-han.
Was that something both of you could fathom?
“If this is truly what you want.” Yoongi mumbles. “We don’t have to do it here.”
Yoongi leans his head back to study your expression.
“We can go to my room.” Yoongi continued, unsure if that was too much. Yet, all of this was too much to begin with.
“Okay.” you nod your head.
“How do you want to do this?”
Yoongi’s room is large, even bigger than your room at your home. It’s simple and screams Yoongi with a dark aesthetic. The bed is large for one man and is neatly made, as if he doesn’t sleep in here often. Maybe he didn’t as even if Yoongi and Yo-han were different, they were both Min’s and they worked their asses off.
“What do you mean?” you ask, sitting on his bed.
“We can just…have sex for the sake of me cumming in you.” Yoongi does the same as you. “Or we can do more…”
Your thighs clench together a bit, body warming.
“What do you want to do?” you ask him with a tilt of your head.
“I want to eat you out.” Yoongi responds bluntly that it causes you to laugh at how straightforward he was. “But I understand if that’s too much to ask.”
You remove your shirt and throw it aside and go to do the same for your pants. Yoongi watches with low eyes as you begin to undress.
“Yo-han is too straight-forward.” you say to Yoongi, inching your way towards him. You place a hand onto his shoulders, placing your lips on his in a short, but needy kiss. “He doesn’t tend to do…a lot.”
Keyword for he tends to just worry about his own needs; Yoongi understands. He acts in a way he interprets you want him to. He pushes you onto his bed, the silk sheets cool at the touch, but otherwise comfortable. He wraps your smooth legs around his waist, his bulge pressed firmly against you.
You groan at how hard Yoongi was, arms wrapped around his neck.
Yoongi is a man starved, his hands going to remove your bra and throw it aside.
“I’d fuck you every night if you were my wife.” Yoongi gruffs, his tongue trailing down to your chest. Your nipples are hard for him and he wastes no time in suckling on the first one he finds.
There’s adrenaline flowing through the both of you at this forbidden act. The way you moan so loudly for Yoongi to continue to suckle on breasts that didn’t belong to him. The way he does so effortlessly, appearing as starved for this as you were.
Yoongi can suckle onto your breast all night until they’re swollen, but there’s another place he wants to put his lips on.
The feeling of Yoongi’s wet lips against your skin causes you to groan. It’s all entirely too surreal to fully grasp, especially on how willing Yoongi is to do this with you. How sudden it happened, without much thought. You could blame this on a drunken night, but that would only be a lie. You both were coherent enough to know what you were doing - and how much the both of you truly wanted to do this.
“W-What?”
Yoongi blinks his eyes a few times as your voice reaches his ears.
Your head lifted a bit from his bed when you noticed Yoongi had stopped between your legs and hadn’t done anything.
“Sorry,” Yoongi murmurs, placing his lips onto your inner thighs and gently pressing a kiss. “You’re very….pretty.”
Yoongi’s cheeks dusted a soft pink color at his own words and before you can react and possibly make this entire situation more awkward, his tongue licks between your folds. Your back arches a bit at the warmth of his tongue, but you don’t have time to process it.
Yoongi suckles onto your clit with such determination, large hands grasping both of your thighs so you aren’t able to move from him.
Yoongi misses hearing a woman move for him. He was prone to lock himself away when he was busy working for months at a time. He was dedicated to his craft and while he was in the midst of recording an album, he didn’t need to be distracted. You, however, were the perfect distraction.
Yoongi focuses solely on the way your thighs quiver as his tongue toys with your clit. His eyes flicker upward a bit, catching a glimpse of the way your mouth falls open to let out such melodic moans.
“I want you to cum on my tongue before I fuck mine in you.”
Your body shudders at such dirty words coming from your brother-in-law. Yoongi wasn’t a man of many words, especially not the times you’ve met him. Yet, here he was now. So confident and cool, a side so different from the mysterious demeanor he always held.
Dare you say you liked this Yoongi.
“Your tongue feels so good.” you gasp out, your stomach churning. Were you making it obvious that you weren’t used to this?
Yoongi already knows, of course. Even if you didn’t tell him, he notices just by the way you continue to act. Your hands are unsure where to go - one moment they’re clenching the bedsheets to yanking at his scalp; acts he doesn’t mind.
Yoongi leans back a bit, licking his lips of your juices. “Yeah?” he says smug, thumb pressing against your swollen clit. He rubs it gently just to tease you, tilting his head. “You wanna sit on it?”
The seriousness of Yoongi's tone stops you from giggling at what sounds like it could be a joke. You blink your eyes open.
“On your…” you’re confused on what exactly he wants you to sit on.
“My face.” Yoongi deadpans. His dark eyes reach yours and he offers a low smirk. “Mind as well make the most of it.”
“Oh…okay.”
You don’t want to sound too eager, but it’s not a position you’ve ever been in. After all, Yoongi was right. The both of you mind as well make the most of this fucked up situation.
“Good.” Yoongi hums, lying beside you. “Face me.”
You’re far too conscious to actually sit on Yoongi’s face as he wants you to as the position itself is awkward. Your thighs quiver slightly and before you can ask if this was right, Yoongi’s hands - large and veiny - grasp onto your hips to press you down against his tongue. His eyes watch for your reaction, especially when you gasp out at his actions.
Yoongi’s willingness to eat you out is beyond the alcohol now - he actually wants to do this. He licks onto your clit as if he’s starved, his large hands gripping your hips to roaming down to your thighs.
It’s deeper than that, of course. It’s deeper than Yoongi just wanting to pleasure you. He does, of course. But down within his core that he doesn’t want to admit, even to himself, Yoongi knows it’s about his brother. Even if Yo-han was the preferred son with a high paying job that his parents preferred, it was him you chose to go to. Min Yoongi, the younger Min son who decided that his love for music outweighed what he felt for his own family that dubbed him an outcast.
It was Yoongi who was pleasuring you now, his tongue flat against your clit, his head bobbing from side to side as his large hands grip at your naked skin.
It was Yoongi who you were moaning so lovingly for, your delicate hands gripping his hair in your grasp, fluttering eyes watching him.
It was him - Yoongi. The one who his family deemed unworthy and yet, here you are. You sought him out to impregnate you - something his brother couldn’t (or refused) to do. And he was going to enjoy every fucked up minute of it. In the end when it was time for him to meet his maker, he would pay for this sin he willingly partaken in.
Yoongi is painfully hard, his cock tight in his sweatpants. It twitches to be released - but he had all night with you. His brother wasn’t home and there wasn’t a rush, right?
“Yoon…Yoongi…” you moan his name so sweet that Yoongi groans against your clit, his hands roaming towards your ass. When he grips it do you moan his name once more, your eyes clenching shut.
Your hips begin to buckle a bit against his tongue, and Yoongi further encourages you by slapping your ass a bit teasingly. Your head hangs back a bit, soft “fuck” and “shit” coming from your gasping lips. You don’t realize just how loud you were becoming after each buckle of your hips, no longer feeling as self-conscious as you were originally - nor did Yoongi mind, either.
“Feels so good…” you hum, your hanging head now falling forward to look down at the man who’s causing you such great pleasure. Your eyes lock with his dark ones and you bite your lip a bit. “...we shouldn't be doing this.”
It was a statement. Neither of you stop and Yoongi’s hands only glide upwards to grasp your breast in his hands, squeezing them with such need. Your free hand places itself on top of his larger one, your walls clenching around nothing in general and you’re positive that you were going to cum soon.
You never cum from oral before and the thought just causes you  to squeal.
You were hot, Yoongi thinks. Utterly gorgeous that it upsets him that this was going to be the only time he was going to have you on his tongue. His tongue laps between your folds with such haste and need, determined to make you cum so he can taste what his brother doesn’t deserve. To think that his brother once flaunted you around with his arm around you just for you to be here with him.
You’re cumming entirely too fast for your liking, your toes curling. You stopped grinding against his tongue and instead allowed Yoongi to regain control, his free hand gripping your outer thigh and slightly lifting himself forward. He suckles roughly onto your sensitive bud until your thighs are shaking with overstimulation. Your breathing is hitched, your stomach clenching.
Yoongi is satisfied when you cum, spewing a line of curse words that a woman like you surely would never use. His entire lips and chin is coated with your juices when he finally allows a moment to rest, your body falling onto his bed.
Licking his lips, Yoongi glances your way.
“My brother must not make you cum enough.” he murmurs, dark eyes watching with satisfaction.
You don’t respond to Yoongi. You understand the bitterness in his tone. You don’t blame Yoongi for speaking of his brother the way he does. Your husband, in shorter words, can be an asshole. Especially to those he feels as though he is better than.
Or jealous of.
“I love him.” you say. It’s been a full five minutes before you respond to him. You managed to stop your thighs from quivering enough for your body to sit up. “I don’t doubt it.” Yoongi says. He watches you with hooded eyes as you crawl towards him until you’re hovering above him.
“He’s jealous of you.”
You’re unsure why you’re telling Yoongi this. It’s going to do nothing but feed his ego more in knowing this along with fucking his wife.
“He…would say he never knew you would be this successful.” you tell him, leaning down to press a deep kiss against his lips. You can taste yourself, and the act turned you on even further.
Instantly, Yoongi wraps his arms around you. His hands rub along your smooth skin.
“I always knew you’d be successful.”
Your words cause Yoongi’s breath to hitch when you lean yourself away from him. Your lips kiss along his own jaw.
“The way you speak makes me feel like you wanted this longer than you make out.”
Your tongue slowly trails along his chin before dipping down to his neck.
“And if I did?”
Your tongue proceeds to trace the outline of his ear. Goosebumps erupt on his skin.
“I’ll fuck you right now, Y/N.” Yoongi grumbles, his fingernails digging into your hips and he thrusts his clothed cock towards your naked clit.
“I want to suck your cock first.”
You move faster than Yoongi can process. You’re already sliding down his body and hooking your hands beneath his pants to tug them down.
You should be expecting Yoongi to be aroused, but not this erect. His cock looks like it hurts with how fast it springs out of his underwear. The tip is leaking pre-cum and it twitches when you wrap a hand around the base.
Yoongi hisses when your warm tongue wraps around his tip, suckling it like a lolipop. His eyes instantly roll, not remembering the last time he felt a woman’s mouth. He always was told that he worked too hard and he couldn’t help it - especially since he was a Min. You came  to Yoongi during a vulnerable time of need and it was no wonder he didn’t deny you.
“Shit, Y/N…”
You take his cock deeper into your mouth, bobbing your head sloppily as you suckle on his cock. The sounds of your gurgling mixed with Yoongi’s moans and curse words has you dripping down your thighs. You couldn’t recall the last time you were this wet for your own husband.
Your eyes flicker upwards to watch Yoongi’s face. So handsome and reminiscent of Yo-han. His dark hair falls into his eyes, pink lips falling open to let out lustful moans.
Your sucking and slurping erupted throughout the room, sounding just as sloppy as it looks.
You don’t usually do this yourself - not because you don’t like it. You enjoy the lewd act immensely. You just refused to do it if your husband wouldn’t do the same. Yoongi so willing to go down on you caused you to want to do the same for him, the tip of his cock deep in your throat now. Your eyes are glossy with tears and determination, wanting to please the man just as he was determined to pleasure you.
“I’m not…” Yoongi hisses, a veiny hand going to grasp your hair to stop you. “...not cumming in your mouth, baby.”
Yoongi forces his cock - as much as he didn’t want to - out from your greedy lips. Saliva draws down the corner of your mouth, connecting it to his tip. Yoongi pants and shakes his head.
The pet name Yoongi calls you wants you to bring the cock right back into your mouth. It sounds so good coming from Yoongi, so natural. As if it’s a pet name he called you often.
“I’m gonna cum in you.”
“Please.” you beg, licking your lips. “Want you to fill me.”
Yoongi groans, his cock twitching. His hand is still tangled in your hair and he grips it a bit tighter. He takes a deep breath.
“How do you want me to fuck you?” Yoongi questions. “I’ll follow your lead.”
Yoongi and his need to assure that you were comfortable was heartwarming. It nearly causes you to smile.
“Are you the vanilla type?” you joke.
“I’m whatever you’d want me to be.” Yoongi chuckles. His mind flashes with different ways he could have you - both passionately and disrespectfully.
Your hands, that lay on his thigh, slide forward. Past his torso to grip his shoulders.
“Follow my lead.” you say, getting to your feet just to sit onto his lap. Your clit is directly against his cock and you want nothing more than to grind against him, but this wasn’t the moment. You needed to feel him inside of you.
Yoongi does as you say, going to push off his pants so he can maneuver better. His hands lay upon your hips as you sit upon him, bringing his cock inside of you slowly. Yoongi lets out a low and deep groan, your pussy gripping around him so tightly.
Yoongi didn’t have a wife and that meant the sex he did have was just casual sex with women who signed NDA’s and wore condoms.
Now, however, it was different. This might be a one time thing, but to get to feel your pussy, so wet and warm wrapped around his cock was amazing. How could his brother not want to be inside of you at any given moment? How could he restrain himself from feeling you raw? Surely there had to be other forms of birth control besides a condom.
You’re needy to feel him deep inside of you, your arms wrapping around his neck as you begin to pounce. Your pussy clenches with each thrust, rising and falling sloppily.
“Your pussy’s so wet.” Yoongi quips, voice deeper. His breathing is deep and his arms only tighten around your frame. His palms roam your naked skin greedily.
You lean forward to place your lips against his, your tongue forcing your way through his lips. Your bare chest presses against his clothed one.
“Your cock feels so good.” you say between hushed kisses. You begin to shift yourself, your feet planted on the bed either side of him.
This was bad.
You shouldn’t be here or agreed to this.
You shouldn’t have allowed Yoongi to eat you out and you shouldn’t have sucked his cock.
It was far too late now, of course. There was no going back; especially with his cock plunging so deep inside of you.
Yoongi’s eyes roll with pleasure with each rise and fall of your hips. Skin slapping erupts throughout the room, followed by your squeals and his grunts.
“My brother doesn’t deserve this.”
It’s difficult for Yoongi not to mention your husband, and maybe the sick side of you that knew this was wrong acknowledged that deep down, you enjoyed Yoongi’s praises. It was something you didn’t experience at home.
“You do?” you ask with a curt, smug snort and soon a soft moan.
Yoongi’s cock was stretching you out in a way you needed, even if it had been just a few short weeks. Sex with Yoongi, though a one time thing, was something you didn’t know you needed until now. You rise and fall against his cock, pussy squeezing with such pleasure and desire that Yoongi’s nails dig into the skin of your hips. It was evident that neither of you wanted to stop.
“I do.” Yoongi hisses, this time meeting you halfway. The added thrusts coming from the man has his cock digging even deeper, hitting a spot that you weren’t sure was possible until now. “Isn’t this what you’re here for?”
You don’t respond to him, and it causes Yoongi to become even more smugged. You never took  Yoongi as the dominant type - yet again, you never thought about sex with Yoongi until the possibility presented itself to you.
Yoongi hooks both arms underneath your thighs and flips you and him. You’re on your back now and him hovering right above you. You gasp at the sudden change of position. However, having Min Yoongi hovering above you was well worth it. He enters you without a second thought, the feeling intensifying when he begins to thrust in you.
“Fuck,” Yoongi growls, his head hanging as his eyes watch the way the both of you connect to one another. His cock springs in and out of you needily, your cunt so wet and gushing with juices. “your pussy is so wet and ready to be bred.”
Yoongi feels the way you clench around him at his words - such filthy words that turn the both of you on. You didn’t know just how much you enjoyed the dirty talk and it causes you to think vaguely of how your sex life with your husband always appeared so rushed. He was tired as he worked himself hard and at the end of it all, sex was more about him than you.
“You want that, huh?”
Yoongi wouldn’t say that he’s waited for this moment. He wasn’t aware a moment like this would ever present itself to him. However, he finds that he enjoys the closeness that you and him share. How open you and he are, even after not fully accustomed to the other prior to now.
Yoongi finds that he enjoys littering your naked skin with kisses and soft bites that don’t linger. When his hands wander around your skin, goosebump litter his own at how soft and warm it is.
“I do.” you quip when Yoongi pounds deeper into you, so deliciously that it causes your eyes to roll a bit. “Want you to cum in me.”
Yoongi groans with a shake of his head. Not because he doesn’t want to cum in you, he does. He has a deep desire to fuck his seed into you so deep until there’s nothing left, but that meant that it would all be over. His high (and yours) would die down and you would go home.
There wouldn’t be a next time as you weren’t his wife. And even if he talked down to his brother, at the end of the day, his brother was who you belonged to.
Something gold touches your face and causes you to flutter your eyes open. Yoongi hovers so close above you that his chain, a diamond chair that was once tucked underneath his shirt, slides across your warm face.
“K-Kiss me.” you say - more like demand - to Yoongi. Your shaky hands place themselves onto his cheeks so he’s looking right at you.
Yoongi connects his lips onto yours, his hips snapping forward. He groans against your soft lips, your velvet walls drawing him deeper and deeper into you.
“You’re so beautiful.” Yoongi grunts against your lips. “You take my cock so well.”
You press your lips deeper against his, arms wrapping around his neck. Your body intensifies, quivering right beneath the man. Your back arches a bit and you hold onto Yoongi a bit tighter.
“You’re…fuuuck,” your words drag out, stomach churning. “you’re beautiful, too.”
Yoongi, against his body’s best judgment, pushes you back against his bed. He leans back to admire your naked body, breast bouncing erratically as he fucks you. He licks his lips, dark eyes boring right into you. His right hand places onto your stomach, cock grinding.
“Yeah?” Yoongi tilts his head a bit. “Our baby would be beautiful, too, then.”
“You can’t say things like that.”
Your pussy clenches harder, however, despite your words.
“Your pussy says differently, baby.” Yoongi chuckles. “You like that, wouldn’t you? Fucking a baby into this sweet pussy.”
The hand that presses against your stomach to keep you in place trails down to your clit. His thumb places firmly against your wet clit, swirling the sensitive bud that has your back arching against. When you’re about to shut your legs - because fuck was the pleasure overwhelming - Yoongi’s free hand slaps against your thigh to keep you from doing so.
“You’re going to be so beautiful round with my baby.” Yoongi’s thumb twirls your clit roughly. The way you’re taking him now he knows you’re going to cum soon. “You think the baby would look like me?”
Yoongi grunts once more, thrust becoming sloppy. He was going to cum himself at just the thought of witnessing you swollen with his seed. Just the thought of you holding a baby with the same eyes as him was enough for him to want to breed you right here and now.
“It doesn’t matter who you’re married to, baby,” Yoongi says, marveling at the sight of your juices leaking onto his sheets as you were cumming. The filthy and demanding words mixed with the overstimulation he forces upon you was too much. “I’ll always be the one that got you pregnant.”
Your hand reaches out for Yoongi’s shirt for support. His words were too much and would be added to the list of fucked up things you were doing now - that you enjoy.
“I want your baby, Yoongi.” you cry, squirming beneath him. “Want your cum in me.”
“Fuck, baby.” Yoongi shakes his head, his entire body shuddering as he cums not even a minute later. Milky ropes of warm cum coat your walls fully.
Hanging his head back, Yoongi pants. He doesn’t move and neither do you. There’s sweat lining his forehead and he’s trying to calm himself down before he does anything more.
Your chest rises and falls when you feel Yoongi lay beside you. You feel his cum ooze out of you - but still feel so full of him. You shut your legs, the selfish part of you not wanting to waste not a drop of it.
“Are you okay?”
Yoongi’s hand is soft, even if it was a bit callosed, against your cheek. He gently turns your head to look at him.
“I’m sorry if I was a bit…much.” Yoongi’s cheeks reddened and he chuckled a bit.
“It’s fine. I’m fine.” you murmur to him, moving a bit closer without much thought. “Thank you…?” you’re unsure what to say and thanking him sounds a bit foolish, however when Yoongi laughs, so do you.
“You don’t need to thank me, Y/N.”
You bite your lip and once more, without much thought, you kiss him. You inhale into the kiss, your hand holding onto his cheek before you disconnect your lips from his.
Yoongi licks his lips as if to savor your taste. He hums. “You can stay the night…if you want.” Yoongi adds the last part. “Or you can go home…but I’m not forcing you to.”
You allow yourself to smile at Yoongi.
“I can show you my studio. You can see why the world doesn’t see me for months at a time.” Yoongi jokes. Did he sound desperate for you to stay with him? Was he that lonely and pathetic?
“Okay.” you say a bit too quickly. You hoped you didn’t sound desperate yourself.
“Okay.” Yoongi repeats, his thumb trailing the outline of your lips.
Tumblr media
Yoongi’s fingers are going to bruise your skin with how tight he holds them. His hips are snapping once more, drilling into you at an alarming speed. From the outside looking in, the sight could be seen as alarming with how rough Yoongi is. Your skin is flushed with hand marks by the man, yet neither of you could be bothered to care right now.
Your back arches and your arms struggle to keep yourself in the position as yoongi pounds into you. You’re squealing with each powerful thrust his hips send your way.
You are unsure how many times you allowed Yoongi to fuck you - you lost count since the following night. You didn’t need to go home because there wouldn’t be anyone waiting for you anyways. Yoongi had done what he promised and showed you his studio. It’s dimly lit with several computer screens. He showed you how he mixed and produced different sounds together and played snippets of music that he had yet to release.
How you and Yoongi became entangled after that - and for the first time - is beyond you. In a short amount of time, the chemistry was there. Obviously.
Now, the following morning, you and Yoongi were yet again doing the forbidden act that should’ve never happened in the first place. Now, you and he were further disrespecting your marriage, but you cannot bring yourself to care now.
“Your cock is so deep in me.” you squeal, your face burying into the soft bed sheets.
Your fingers dig into them as Yoongi forces your legs apart further. Both of his hands allow you grace and slams against his bed. That meant that now Yoongi could go even deeper.
“I’ve fucked you all night, baby, and you keep coming for more.”
Your ass is amazing, Yoongi thinks, the way it bounces off of his abdomen. He cannot count himself how many times he held it in his hands as he fucked you, finding that it fits perfectly in his hands just like the rest of your body did.
“I can’t help it…feels so good.”
In the short amount of time you stopped the bashful act and fully allowed Yoongi’s dirty words to get to you. You entertained him fully, finding that it made the entire situation better.
“You’re such a whore, Y/N, allowing me to fuck a baby in you over and over again.”
As many times as Yoongi’s fucked you, he hasn’t kept his lips off of you for long. He had eaten you out right in his studio, his fingers plunging so deep in you that you made a mess all over his chair - and he’d have it no other way.
“It’s going to be sad when you go back to your husband, right? You’re gonna fuck my brother but think of me the entire time.”
Your hair is being yanked this time and you are forced against Yoongi’s chest. His cock plunges deeper in you so heavenly that you’re seeing stars. While one hand is entangled into your hair, the other one roughly tugs at your breast.
“And when he doesn’t fuck you good enough, baby, just come back to me.” Yoongi’s voice is so deep and full of lust that it shivers down your spine and juices erupt down your thighs and leak into his sheets.
You don’t intend to stay another day. Yoongi had allowed you to borrow clothing and you had showered in his master bathroom before meeting him for breakfast. The aroma greeted you upon entering and Yoongi spares you a single glance.
“Hungry?”
“Starving.” you admit, seating yourself on the island chair and watching as he plates your food. “Smells nice…” you trail off.
You and Yoongi eat mainly in silence when you’re unsure if it’s a comfortable one or not. Your mind races with questions that you’re unsure how to ask.
“There’s no doubt that you’ll have a positive pregnancy test.”
Yoongi breaks the silence first once he finishes his food, drinking a dark liquid that you’re sure isn’t juice like you had.
You snicker a bit, body flushing. “Yeah. No doubt.”
Yoongi is quiet for another moment, his eyes roaming your facial expression.
“Do you regret it?”
You bite the inside of your cheek, glancing away for a moment.
“It’s…I feel terrible.”
Yoongi inhales, his leg shaking a bit at your words.
“I…I feel terrible because I enjoyed it too much and…” you meet his eyes now. It was an eventful two days away from the reality that was your life. Yoongi was more than what his family made him out to be - even outside the sex. He was an amazing person to speak with. When you spoke, it’s as if he cared about what you had to say; no matter the topic. He gives you undivided attention that you never got from your husband. “...now I have to just forget it didn’t happen.”
Yoongi takes a deep breath. His heart jolted a bit at your confession.
“You know I’m never too far.” Yoongi murmurs. He feels foolish for stating it. It would be weird that you and he are suddenly so close that it would obviously draw attention.
“I know.” your voice is meek and small.
“I want to give you something.”
Yoongi doesn’t meet your eye when he lifts himself from the island table beside you and takes your plates and his. He washes them to further leave you in agonizing suspense.
Once Yoongi is done, he dries his hands and goes through his pockets. He’s wearing baggy sweatpants with deep pockets. He pulls out a rectangular pad and opens it, ripping a piece of paper out of it.
“Here.” Yoongi holds the paper out for you to take. You notice instantly that it’s a…check.
Your eyes scan the check, slowly widening at just how much money is on it.
“What is this?” you say hastily, squinting your eyes at Yoongi.
“A check.” Yoongi responds matter-of-factly. “For…the baby.” he nods his head a bit.
You drop the check onto the table and swallow. “I’m…not even sure if you got me pregnant.” you say, but then again it was no doubt Yoongi had. The amount of times he milked your walls in 2 days, there was no doubt that a month from now you would surely receive positive news. “I can’t accept that, Yoongi.” you shake your head.
“Why not?”
You scoff. “Why not? Why would I?” you quip. “I…I…the agreement wasn’t this.” you continue as you’re pointing at the check. “I…we didn’t really think any of this through.”
“Of course we didn’t,” Yoongi snickers but agrees nonetheless. “We acted out of lust and attraction. However…I want to help you.”
You’re silent as Yoongi continues on.
“I…it’s going to be hard, Y/N. Watching you raise a kid that’s mine but…I understand. You’re married to my brother and that’s not going to change. You came to me for help and I intend on doing just that. Deposit the check into a savings account. Over time it’ll accumulate interest and more money for the baby…”
Yoongi’s tone is serious. Your eyes glance down at the check.
“Yoongi…” you trail off.
Yoongi stands a bit straighter.
“Think about the baby, Y/N.” Yoongi murmurs. “You trusted me enough to come to me. Trust me enough to know that I’ll always help you if you need it.” he states. “I’ll be the best uncle there can be.”
Yoongi’s tone doesn’t match his words, and you aren’t sure if your own feelings would match the reality that you’re about to put yourself through.

Part 1, Part 2, Part 4
~~
Azriel was losing his ever-loving mind.
A few weeks ago, everything was fine. Not optimal, but fine.
He knew his mate, and that was more than could be said for most of Prythian. But even more than that, he could love her from afar. He could make small remarks and catch the smiles they would elicit. He could send his shadows after her on her walks home, protecting her even though she had the entire Inner Circle looking out for her wellbeing. He could buy the ridiculously expensive pastries she loved and stock the kitchens with them, listening for the small gasps she let out each time she found them.
He could talk to you, listen to you, love you in his small ways, even if it wasn’t the ways in which he longed for.
Because it wasn’t the right time yet. You hadn’t felt the bond for yourself.
So, yes—admittedly, Azriel had not been in the most optimal position with you. But it was leaps and bounds better than the purgatory you were subjecting him to now.
He mulled over his current reality as he sat opposite to you at the dining table. He had had to snag the seat from Mor, ripping the chair from her hand in an uncharacteristic show of aggression, and you hadn’t so much as looked up from your plate. He would’ve rather fought for the seats beside you, but Rhys and Cassian had been sitting before he even entered the room. So now he fought for your eyes and was too far away to offer any lingering, accidental touches.
Not that you would reciprocate either.
You were avoiding him, and Azriel was at his wit's end trying to decipher why.
His shadows had relayed dismal reports, only whispering the words sad and alone and contemplative into his ears each morning. He could have guessed as much, if the display of emotions he had tried to comfort you through all those days ago told him anything.
But Gods, did they really tell him nothing, because you hadn’t spoken to him since.
“—that is certainly something to consider. Y/n, would you be open to the job?”
“Hm?” you hummed, and Azriel watched as your eyes flickered over to Rhys in one abrupt movement. “Sorry, what?”
Rhys raised a brow lined with humor, and Azriel realized he hadn’t been listening to the conversation either. “Helion has extended an invitation to the Night Court—for diplomatic relations and all. It’s mostly a weekend stay for show, but he has quite an extensive library. Feyre and I went last time so it would only be fair if—”
“Yes,” you nodded, the most emotion Azriel had seen on your face in days blooming into a joyous array. “Of course, I would love to go. Are you kidding?”
Rhys chuckled. “I figured. Helion has been quite eager to get you to come as well. Seemed like the perfect time.”
Azriel didn’t miss the way the High Lord’s eyes shone with something other than mirth as he looked closer at the scholar… as he inspected your facade the same way Azriel had been for the past week.
“When can I leave?”
Something in Azriel scratched to a halt. “She’s to go alone?”
Feyre offered the spymaster a soft smile from the other side of the table. “If she wishes. Helion’s invitation was open-ended.”
“Take the vacation, I say,” Mor piped in, wine glass raised in a solitary toast.
“Or… you could take me,” Cassian grinned beside you, jostling you in a playful grip.
You sent a scoff his way. “Aren’t you banned?”
“No, actually. I’m banned from Summer Court, which is completely unrelated.”
A short laugh trickled from your lips. It wasn’t a full one, not like the ones Azriel was so used to—the ones he basked in—but it was a laugh, nonetheless.
He felt the way his eyes seemed to follow the crescendo of it, his blinks in time with the sweet sound.
He committed it to memory.
“Right, well let’s keep you away from neighboring courts as much as possible so we can avoid a repeat of that, okay?”
Something like a grin fought at the side of Azriel’s mouth at your quip.
Cassian prattled on. Something about unjust rules or ridiculous high lords—Azriel wasn’t paying attention. He was too caught up in you and the way you were so close to meeting his gaze.
“Perhaps she shouldn’t go alone,” Azriel spoke up, interrupting his brother’s spiel. You still didn’t look at him, instead turning to catch Rhys’s response.
“Azriel, I can assure you this is a safe visit,” Rhys offered. He knew. Everyone seemed to know but you. “It’s hardly even business. It’s more of a vacation. I’ve been shoving century-old relics in her face for the past few months. She deserves time to herself, don’t you think?”
His High Lord was speaking in code. A terrible, frustrating code that really meant, “give her some distance.”
Azriel had had enough of distance.
He nodded his head all the same.
And then, despite all odds, you looked at him.
You looked at him and it was as if the air had been knocked from his lungs. As if he had been wrung out and stretched thin and every bone in his body forced him to sit up straighter. You were looking at him and Azriel couldn’t conceptualize the way the spectrum in his chest moved so quickly from utter relief to the brink of desolation.
Because you looked at him as if you were broken. A sad—such a sad—smile graced your face, one he had never had the displeasure of seeing before, and he wanted to wipe it away. He wanted to kiss it from your face with soft touches and reassuring whispers and that was startling for Azriel because he usually kept his overwhelming urge to kiss you at bay.
“I’ll bring you back a souvenir,” is all you said. Such simple words to accompany an expression that sent him reeling.
“Thank you,” he replied, with the most sincerity he could muster.
And then he held your gaze as it became downcast. He craned his neck to catch every last second of your eyes as they turned back down to the table.
It was hours later that Azriel found himself in the townhouse, boots creating an indent in the office carpet. Rhys sat just feet away from him, leaning back against the desk, waiting for the Shadowsinger to erupt.
“I would like for you to position your spies further into Autumn. I know you have a few that have integrated into the court, but I need more intel on Eris and his plans.”
“Of course.”
“You can take out any currently residing in Day. Just for the next week or so. With y/n going, she can report any happenings.”
A muscle in Azriel’s jaw jumped. “Would that be wise?”
Rhys stared back at his brother, expression giving nothing away. “Why wouldn’t it be? Do you not trust y/n’s word?”
Azriel’s wings were taut against his back. In truth, he hadn’t felt relaxed in days. With you leaving, that tension would surely pull him into thin compliance.
“Obviously I trust her word, Rhysand.”
“Rhysand? What have I done to earn your grievance?” the High Lord asked, crossing his arms over his chest, still the perfect picture of calm.
Azriel was a juxtaposition before him as he clenched his hands and replied, “You already know.”
“Do I know? I’m not sure you’ve been clear or honest with anyone. Y/n especially.”
“I have no idea what you’re talking about.”
Rhys bent at the elbow and rubbed a restless hand across his jaw. Azriel ignored the movement in favor of holding eye contact with the High Lord. Azriel was being stubborn, he knew that, but there was no other way to be.
He needed to be consistent and reliable. He needed to be a pillar for his family to lean on, and you were part of that. He wasn’t going to take that away from you—to be selfish and call upon a mating bond you hadn't even been made aware of yet.
He wasn’t going to squander your friendship in the hopes of something more.
There was a chance, no matter how much the prospect pained him to consider, that you wouldn’t want the bond. You had never hinted at wanting more with the spymaster, so there was no telling how you might react to the cauldron blessing you with a union. You could reject it, and with it would go your friendship.
Just the thought sent ice through Azriel’s veins.
Truth be told, he had never shown you many signs either. When the bond snapped months ago, it had taken time for Azriel to come to terms with the truth. He had ruminated on it amidst many sleepless nights, watched you from a new perspective over many dinners, and contemplated the path that had led him to you.
And then he had regretted. Cauldron had he regretted.
The feeling still lingered, a reminder of each woman he had taken to his bed before you. All of the fae that had meant nothing, and even the ones that had boarded on something, he wished he could do away with.
Because you had been privy to them all. He knew you had witnessed a few late-night trysts, and even worse, that you had watched him pine after Mor for a century. It all seemed so frivolous now; it all paled in comparison to you.
And the absolute worst part of it all is that he knew.
He knew how easy it would be to fall in love with you from the start, so he pretended not to notice.
He threw himself into impractical longing and meaningless lovers and he pretended that it didn’t hurt to look at you.
The bond had only cemented his foolishness.
He hardly had a chance with you by the time it snapped.
“Late night then, Az?”
You had teased him over breakfast just days before the bond had snapped for him, a small smile on your face as you lounged at the table early in the morning. At the time, Azriel had bit the inside of his cheek and reeled in his snarkiness. He had avoided your gaze, avoided the robe that barely covered your nightgown, and made himself toast in silence. He had already coaxed the blonde fae out of his bed, and he hadn’t needed a reminder of the woman he had been imagining all throughout the night.
Because that had been something else he opted to ignore—that he pictured you, imagined you, at all times.
It snapped three days later. He had been accompanying you through Velaris. “Shopping for fun,” you had said, “and I hate to go alone.”
The only thing Azriel had taken home that day was a gaping hole in his chest and the knowledge that lying to himself had brought him nothing but pain.
The months following were different.
Everything was different.
But for you, he had come to the grim realization, nothing was different at all. He was still Azriel, your friend Azriel, who was secretive and private and cared from afar. You still pictured him as a man who chose his lovers based on convenience and quick practicality even though he hadn’t so much as looked at another woman since your emotions began flowing through his chest.
Gods, your emotions. They were so positive, so addicting, he could sit back and live his days through you until the end of time. You had so much unrestricted joy coursing through you—so much curiosity and delight. Part of Azriel dreaded the day you did recognize the bond; it would dim the connection to you.
That day in the library had been the first time the bond had chafed against his lungs. He had felt the earthquake beneath his feet and thought nothing of it, but then your fear punctured his being and he had run so fast his wings ached.
And then you started having nightmares, ones he couldn’t fix, and Azriel began to feel like he was losing you. Like the bond was withering and eroding within him and you along with it.
“How long, Azriel?” Rhys’s voice cut through the air with a harshness.
The shadowsinger breathed through his nose, jaw tight.
“Tell me. Tell me how long you’re going to keep this up for.”
“You don’t understand, Rhys,” came Azriel’s low reply. “None of you do.”
The High Lord scoffed. “Right, because I had it so easy with Feyre. Az, mates are complicated—”
“Don’t,” Azriel breathed. A dangerous shakiness accompanied the word.
“Explain it to me. Help me to understand how—”
“There was nothing for you to lose!” The rise of the shadowsinger’s voice sent Rhys into silence. “There was nothing! You hadn’t known Feyre for three centuries—hadn’t known what it was like to see her cry over worthless males or laugh until she was doubled over. You didn’t have time to memorize the sound of her voice or understand how it felt to lose that small piece of her. Because she won’t even talk to me anymore and—”
Azriel cut himself off, moving for the first time since he entered office. He paced, the motion of his feet doing little to dispel the tension from the air or from his body. Azriel tugged a hand through his hair, his shadows following the aggressive pull and weaving through the strands.
“How long?” Rhys asked again, but this time, Azriel knew that he was asking a different question. One that even he himself had avoided answering.
The shadowsinger paused. His next words were tainted and his voice cracked.
“I think forever.”

please please PLEASE can we have an Autobot version of the how to catch a human post?! Begging on my knees here lol
Im sorry this took a bit longer i had so much fun writing this ! And besides that i got distracted by some of the TF comics that can be found online ! I just read the two whole comics about Drift becoming an autobot and man alive was that cool :3🧡
I'm also currently job-hunting and studying so there was not as much time to be online or make art as much as i'd like :'(🧡
But i hope you'll enjoy this one !! ( 。ớ ᴗờ)🧡
P.s. - I know this is a bit different from the decepticon one bc i made this one in the more First Contact universe♡
Autobot recommendation for handling/capturing fragile organics: Humans
Foreword on behalf of Autobots
Humans are delicate, skittish creatures who rely on their instincts, emotions, and have a surprising amount of unpredictability. They are small, fragile, and prone to bouts of irrational behavior when startled or cornered. Despite their size and vulnerability, they possess an extraordinary will to survive, making them both a challenge and a responsibility to handle correctly.
This guide was written for Autobots tasked with capturing, securing, or calming a human in scenarios where their cooperation is necessary but unlikely. Treat them as you would a frightened turbomouse: with patience and care.
1: Recognizing the human creature
1.1 PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Humans are organics with relatively uniform structure but remarkable fragility. Standing approximately not even quarter of the height of a minicon, they lack protective exoskeletons or natural armor. Their bodies are composed of soft tissues supported by brittle bones, making them particularly susceptible to external forces.
Their skin is their first line of defense, but it is thin and prone to tearing. Cybertronian scanners often mistake minor abrasions as critical damage—while rarely life-threatening, these injuries cause them significant distress. Be mindful of their soft exteriors.
Humans rely heavily on their sensory organs to navigate their environment. Their eyes are sensitive to bright light, and their ears to loud or unexpected noises. Both can cause disorientation, so avoid shining headlights directly at them or using amplified vocalizers during interactions.
1.2 BEHAVIORAL TRAITS
Humans exhibit a wide range of behaviors, often dictated by their emotional state. Unlike Cybertronians, who generally act with calculated logic, humans are impulsive. When frightened, their actions often defy rationality.
• Flight Response: A common reaction to danger, humans may attempt to flee without assessing their surroundings. This can lead them into greater peril, such as running toward an active battlefield or hazardous terrain. They are pretty fast for their size, but their stamina is limited. A frightened human will often collapse after prolonged exertion.
• Fight Response: Though rare, humans under stress may lash out. Their attacks, though feeble, can include throwing objects, kicking, or attempting to strike a Cybertronians. While their strength is negligible, their determination should not be underestimated.
• Freeze Response: Some humans become motionless when overwhelmed, effectively shutting down all voluntary movement. This reaction can make them difficult to rescue, as they may refuse to cooperate or acknowledge external stimuli.
2: Identifying stress signals
2.1 VOCAL CUES
Humans communicate distress through an array of strange vocalizations, often at high volume. Screaming is the most obvious indicator of fear, but rapid speech, muttering, or even complete silence can also signal distress. Listen carefully to their tone—shaky or uneven sounds often betray underlying anxiety.
2.2 PHYSICAL REACTIONS
Their bodies exhibit telltale signs of stress: trembling limbs, widened organic optics, or clenched fists. Sweating, though imperceptible to Cybertronian optics, is another key indicator. Advanced scanners can detect elevated heart rates and shallow breathing, both of which correlate with heightened fear.
2.3 ERRATIC MOVEMENTS
Humans under duress often behave unpredictably, darting in random directions or making illogical choices. For example, a human might attempt to climb unstable structures or hide in areas that provide no real protection. These behaviors stem from primal survival instincts and should not be interpreted as strategic actions.
3: Non-threatening approaches
3.1 MINIMIZING YOUR PRESENCE
Humans perceive large objects, especially moving ones, as threats. To avoid provoking unnecessary fear, always begin your approach in a non-intimidating manner. Transforming into vehicle mode is highly effective; many humans associate vehicles with utility and safety, not danger.
When in robot mode, avoid towering over them. Lowering yourself to their eye level by kneeling or sitting creates a sense of equality and reduces the perception of dominance.
3.2 VOCAL REASURRANCE
Humans respond well to calm, steady voices. Speak slowly, using simple phrases even though they will not understand Cybertronian language. Avoid Cybertronian technical jargon or complicated explanations, as humand won't even understand and will confuse or frighten them further.
If the human continues to panic, repeat your reassurances while maintaining a soft tone. Over time, they will begin to associate your voice tone with safety.
3.3 BODY LANGUAGE
Body language is as important as spoken words. Humans are highly visual creatures and will interpret your movements as cues for intent. Keep your gestures slow and deliberate. Avoid sudden movements, as these can be perceived as aggression.
Extend a hand palm-up when offering assistance, a universal gesture of peace. Keep your frame neutral—crossed arms, clenched fists, or rigid postures might be misinterpreted as hostility.
4: Techniques for securing a human
4.1 NON-CONTACT METHODS
Whenever possible, prioritize techniques that do not involve physical interaction.
• Guided Pathways: Create barriers using objects or your own body to funnel the human toward safety. This method is particularly effective in open environments where direct contact might cause them to flee in the wrong direction.
• Stasis Bubbles: Deploy low-energy containment fields to immobilize the human. These fields should be calibrated to avoid discomfort and allow full mobility once the immediate danger has passed.
4.2 DIRECT CONTACT METHODS
Important note: When physical interaction is unavoidable, use the utmost care.
• Lifting and Restraint: Cradle the human gently in both hands, supporting their head and limbs. Apply no more force than necessary to prevent them from struggling or falling.
• Transport Compartments: Many Autobots have interior compartments designed for transporting fragile cargo. Ensure these are padded, ventilated, and free of sharp edges before placing a human inside.
4.3 ENVIROMEMTAL ADJUSTMENTS
Humans are profoundly influenced by their surroundings. Dim lighting, soft sounds, and warm temperatures can help calm them during capture. Conversely, loud noises, flashing lights, or sudden temperature changes will heighten their distress.
5: Transporting the human
5.1 SAFE COMPARTMENTS
Select a secure compartment that protects the human from external hazards while allowing them to move comfortably. The space should include basic life-support features such as climate control and breathable air.
5.2 CONTINUOUS MONITORING
Scan the human regularly for signs of injury or stress. If their condition deteriorates, stop immediately and address their needs. Humans are highly vulnerable to dehydration, exhaustion, and emotional fatigue.
6: Release and recovery
6.1 GRADUAL DISENGAGMENT
When the mission is complete, release the human in a controlled manner. Begin by reducing your proximity, allowing them to acclimate to their surroundings. Avoid abrupt departures, which may leave them feeling abandoned or confused.
6.2 PROVIDING REASSURANCE
Humans value closure. Rather than explain, show your actions and reassure them of their safety. If possible, provide additional assistance, such as guiding them back to their community or offering resources for recovery.
Closing thoughts
Humans may be small and fragile, but they are resilient in their own way. By treating them with care and understanding, they will give you theirs in return.

My latest SVSSS LesBingqiu idea: A harem drama where both Shen Qingqiu and Binghe are members of the same imperial harem!
———
The original Shen Qingqiu, Shen Jiu, was a high ranking concubine —though more due to her family’s status and her own political machinations then actual favor— while Luo Binghe was one of the lowest ranked concubines. Jealous of Binghe’s (comparative) youth and beauty, Shen Jiu constantly tried to ruin poor Binghe’s reputation, and make her life utterly miserable.
Unfortunately for Shen Jiu, her efforts only managed to encourage the originally pure and virtuous Binghe to become more cunning and pragmatic herself, as she gained allies and thwarted Shen Jiu's devious plots. Eventually Binghe even learned she had a secret royal linage of her own, and gained a large array of forces from her father's subjugated kingdom that were completely loyal to her!
When Shen Jiu's final poisoning attempt went awry, their emperor husband, Liu Qingge, was condemned to a slow and painful death. (Binghe used her knowledge and connections to slow the poison and delay the inevitable, but unfortunately his fate was sealed.) Luo Binghe then revealed Shen Qingqiu's treachery, and convinced Liu Qingge to make her his empress before it was too late. Shen Qingqiu and her entire family were condemned to death, while Luo Binghe became the first Empress Regent, ruling her soon dead beloved's empire with a cold heart and an iron fist.
———
Naturally when Shen Yuan transmigrates as Shen Qingqiu, she turns things around entirely, and does her utmost to spoil and dote upon her precious 'Bingmei'. More than anything, Shen Yuan wants to thwart the tragic ending of the original story, and help Luo Binghe and Liu Qingge fall in love and rule the empire together instead! (The original ending was just too sad!)
Somehow though, things don't go at all the way Shen Qingqiu expected. Sure Luo Binghe's courtly manners and political skills are improving by leaps and bounds with Shen Qingqiu's help, but instead of getting closer to their lord husband... it almost seems like Binghe is feuding with him.
While Luo Binghe orchestrating interruptions any time Shen Qingqiu is alone with Liu Qingge makes perfect sense —they are technically still rivals for the position of empress and all— it's strange how Binghe doesn't seem keen on spending any of her own time with him either!
It's also great that Luo Binghe is so dedicated to learning martial arts, since that's an interest she and Liu Qingge can share (and there was that tidbit about female martial artists being commonplace in her father's kingdom)... but does it have to involve challenging the emperor to quite so many duels? And why does she actually look like she wants to kill him???
Unbeknownst to Shen Qingqiu, Binghe is in fact 'blackening' at record speed, not because she's being mistreated, but because she's determined to conquer the kingdom and get rid of Liu Qingge just so she can marry Shen Qingqiu herself!
———
More Plot and Character Details Below!
Shen Qingqiu (Shen Jiu): Current Highest Ranking Concubine of the imperial harem. She was born the ninth daughter (and only living di-child) of a preeminent noble household struggling from financial strain and a frustrating lack of living sons. Her mother despised her, and her father neglected her, thanks to her ‘failure’ to be the son they so desperately hoped for.
Despite her protests, she was previously betrothed to the low ranked but very wealthy Qiu Jiangluo. His horrific death (perhaps soon followed by that of a second betrothed, Wu Yanzi) made future prospective husbands wary of marrying Shen Qingqiu, but she successfully managed to secure herself a place in the imperial palace despite this.
Qiu Jiangluo: A cruel man with many shady business dealings, who hoped to lay claim to the Shen patriarch’s title after marrying Shen Jiu. (He might even have been partially responsible for orchestrating the Shen clan’s financial woes.)
When he discovered Shen Jiu’s efforts to make better arrangements for herself, Qiu Jiangluo attempted to force the issue by forcing himself on her. Shen Jiu thwarted his attempt and retaliated by killing him and any potential witnesses, before burning down the Qiu manor.
Yue Qingyuan (Yue Qi): Head Eunuch and Protector of the imperial harem. He is the illegitimate seventh child of a moderately powerful noble, who was reluctantly brought into his father’s house. After falling in love with Shen Jiu, he tried to gain a status that would make him worthy of marrying her through military accomplishments.
Yue Qingyuan ended up being instrumental in the defeat of the Mo kingdom’s ruler, Tianlang Jun. Unfortunately for him, his older brothers were wary of being surpassed, and manipulated the former emperor into “gifting” him the head eunuch position, thwarting his marriage prospects entirely.
Liu Qingqiu: Emperor and only di-son of the previous emperor Liu. He’s a skilled fighter and general, but hates politics, so he leaves most of the empire’s management up to his mother, Dowager Empress Qi Qingqiu.
He is ‘aggressively’ demisexual, which makes him quite uncomfortable around most of the women in his harem, due to their expectations of him. He only visits his concubines out of duty, and never slept with any of them more than once —on their respective wedding days— assuming he didn’t avoid sleeping with them entirely.
His life would be so much easier if Shen Yuan’s didn’t transmigrate in and accidentally steal his heart. He really doesn’t know how to handle his sudden desires.
Qi Qingqi: Dowager Empress and true ruler of the empire. She’s well aware of her son’s distaste for politicking, so she has drilled it into his head he must choose an empress who can take over those duties herself.
Qi Qingqi is the reason the original Shen Qingqiu retained her high position in the harem for so long, since although Liu Qingge disliked Shen Qingqiu personally, he knew her political and strategic skills were unmatched.
Liu Mingyan: Liu Qingge’s younger sister, and the First Princess. Both Liu Qingge and Qi Qingqi find it rather unfortunate the previous emperor was too traditional to name her Crown Princess, as she’s probably more suited to the role of ruler than her brother.
In the original work, she became Luo Binghe’s best friend and one of her closest allies while they worked together to uncover Shen Qingqiu’s schemes. She is possibly betrothed to Gongyi Xiao (whom Shen Yuan nicknamed ‘the Male Binghe’), but is secretly in love with her brother’s foreign concubine, Sha Hualing.
Ning Yingying: Personal Attendant to Shen Qingqiu. Ning Yingying is a sweet girl, and quite fond of Luo Binghe despite the reprimands of her original mistress.
In the original novel, Ning Yingying’s fumbling attempts to help were often an accidental source of misery for Luo Binghe. For example, she would give Binghe gifts only for Shen Qingqiu to later claim they were stolen.
Ming Fan: Either a more vicious attendant of Shen Qingqiu, or a young eunuch completely dedicated to following her orders. Regardless of the specifics, (s)he was very cruel to Binghe in the original work, bullying her even when not ordered to by Shen Qingqiu.
Luo Binghe: Newest and Lowest Ranked Concubine in the imperial harem. While she doesn’t know the details, she was told her birth mother was involved in some sort of horrific scandal, so she was shipped off to be raised by her maternal cousins. The family that raised her treated her more as a servant than a family member, and she was left mostly in the care of the family’s washerwoman.
Once she was of age, her ‘adoptive’ family saw an opportunity in her beauty and talents, and had her installed as a low ranked concubine in the imperial harem, purely to elevate their family’s own status.
(Alternatively, she was originally sent to be a servant of Shen Qingqiu, but her mistress hated her. To help Binghe avoid a ruined reputation after one of Shen Qingqiu’s cruel setups, Liu Qingge made her one of his concubines.)
Luo Binghe is actually the secret daughter of the disgraced noble Su Xiyan and the Mo Kingdom’s former ruler, Tianlang Jun.
Su Xiyan: A non-traditional noble daughter of the Su clan, who was more fond of the gentlemanly arts of swordsmanship, archery, and equestrianism, than any of those considered more suited to women.
As the Mo Kingdom has a long history of skilled female martial artists, Tianlang Jun was the only one of her suitors unbothered by her interests, and with no wish to stifle them. The Su family was happy their daughter found a man who appreciated her as she was, so despite the tense relationship between the Mo Kingdom and the central planes the two were swiftly married.
Less than a year into their marriage the Su family was framed for treason, and the entire clan was sentenced to death. This provoked a vicious war between the Mo Kingdom and the central planes, which resulted in Tianlang Jun’s death in battle.
After a difficult birth, and with enemies at the gate, the recently widowed Su Xian sent her newborn child away with a trusted midwife to be cared for by distant relations. With Su Xian’s own death, Luo Binghe’s fate as an orphan was sealed.
Tianlang Jun: The last king of the Mo Kingdom. He was incredibly fond of the literature and plays of the central planes, and so secretly visited the cities bordering his own kingdom quite frequently. As the largest of those cities was under the protection of the Su clan, naturally he and Su Xiyan often met one another there. Despite the escalating tensions between the Mo kingdom and the central planes, he happily took Su Xiyan as his queen and only wife.
Unfortunately, the arrest and deaths of Su Xiyan’s relatives happened before his first child was born, instigating a war between the Mo Kingdom and the central planes. In the fighting that resulted, Tianlang Jun was ultimately killed, with his beloved wife following not long after.
Huan Zhuhua (Old Palace Master): The Minister of Finance. He’s a nasty individual who would rather break his own “toys” than see them in the possession of someone else. His long standing hatred for the “barbaric” Mo Kingdom only worsened when his beloved Su Xiyan married Tianlang Jun rather than himself.
He framed the Su family for treason, making it appear as though they were conspiring with the Mo Kingdom to rebel and take over the central planes. Thousands of lives were lost in the war that resulted, while the Huan family managed to profit greatly from the spoils.
Huan Lihua (Little Palace Mistress): A Fairly High Ranking Concubine. She despises Shen Qingqiu for both her higher position and for constantly outwitting her attempts to advance. The original Luo Binghe successfully charmed her way into Huan Lihua’s favor with flattery and false reverence.
Sha Hualing: The ‘Foreign’ Concubine. Sha Hualing’s parents were nobility in the former Mo Kingdom, so after Liu Qingge took the throne, she was made a concubine as a gesture of good will towards the remaining Mo citizenry. In the original work, after Luo Binghe uncovered her own secret origins, Sha Hualing became her most loyal female underling.
Qin Wanyue: A Mid Ranked Concubine, along with her sister Qin Wanrong. She and her sister were Binghe’s first friends among her fellow concubines in the original work. However, many perceptive readers were able to recognize that Qin Wanyue’s friendliness was mostly out of a desire to earn Binghe’s trust, then use her skills and intelligence to aid in her own advancement.
Qiu Haitang: A Mid-to-Low Ranked Concubine with a serious grudge against Shen Qingqiu. She (correctly) blames Shen Qingqiu for her brother’s death, but willfully refuses to acknowledge her brother’s obvious predatory behavior or how strange it was for Shen Qingqiu to somehow end up alone with her brother in their manor in the middle of the night.
Prior to her brother’s death, she had a very rosy view of her brother and Shen Qingqiu’s relationship, somehow believing them to be genuinely in love. She also latched onto Shen Qingqiu as an older sister figure, and did her absolute best to emulate her.
Mobei Jun: A Mo Kingdom noble who eventually revealed Luo Binghe’s secret origins to her in the original book. He became her most loyal male underling, and once she took over as Regent Empress, he was her personal bodyguard and enforcer.
Shang Qinghua: The Minister of Works, and a Mo Kingdom spy. He had a very minor role in the original work, mostly there to take bribes, organize clandestine meetings, and act cowardly. (Really he was just Airplane’s self insert, there to fawn over his ideal man.)
Wei Qingwei: The Minister of Defense. He is Liu Qingge’s closest friend, and former favorite sparring partner (before Lou Binghe became skilled enough to match him).
Mu Qingfang: The Head Imperial physician who really wishes everyone would stop poisoning one another for five damn minutes. *sigh*
Shen Yuan (Original Life): In his past life, Shen Yuan identified as a straight male. If anyone were to actually succeeded in dragging him out of his cis-heteronormative mindset though (a tall order) he might have admitted his gender was more along the lines of “whatever”/“anything’s fine” while his sexuality was some shade of gray ace/demisexual.
Despite his own obliviousness, he was somehow a magnet for other queer folk. Of his few male friends, most were infatuated with him, while every ‘girl’ he ever dated either came out or discovered their queer identity soon afterwards. (Shang Qinghua was possibly one such ‘victim’).
As Shen Qingqiu, Shen Yuan fully identifies as a woman, and hasn’t put much thought into how easily she took on her new role. It’s only once she finally recognizes Binghe’s attraction towards her that she really considers her previous straight male status, concluding it’s somehow responsible for confusing the poor girl.
(The original Binghe also had a great many highly charged homoerotic interactions with her female peers, but Shen Yuan alternately didn’t notice, or just waved it off as blatant pandering towards the growing male audience.)
Shen Yuan started reading the harem drama at the behest of his younger sister, but ended up far more invested in novel than she ever was. Luo Binghe was his absolute favorite (though not in a creepy way, unlike some other male fans. Ugh.)
Shang Qinghua (Original Life): In his original life, he was a trans man, and the son of divorced parents who weren’t very supportive of his literary ambitions or his gender. He ended up pouring a lot of his feelings towards his gender, his sexuality, and his family life into his work.
He remembers commenter ‘Peerless Cucumber’ quite fondly, as the guy was quick to lambast any and all fan service moments, calling Airplane out as a creepy male author tainting was was clearly meant to be a feminist power fantasy. (✈️: “Thanks for the affirmation bro!” 🥒: “What the f ck are you talking about?!”)
———
The BingLiuShen Ending:
In one possible ending, after most of the court drama has been resolved, and all the hidden plots uncovered, Luo Binghe finally decides Liu Qingge is dedicated enough to Shen Qingqiu to be a passible father for both their children. (If Shen Qingqiu didn’t like children so much, or Luo Binghe could somehow father their children herself, things might be different, but some things just can’t be helped.) Shen Qingqiu is a bit puzzled by the combative nature of the Bingliu branch of their little love triangle, but decides as long as they’re both happy it doesn’t really matter.
Shen Qingqiu becomes Liu Qingge’s official Empress, while Luo Binghe gains the titles of ‘Royal Consort’ and ‘Queen Governor of the Mo Lands’, as a tacit apology for the previous emperor being taken in by Huan Zhuhua’s scheming.
Under the pen name Liusu Mianhua, Liu Mingyan publishes a very dramatized version of events in which Luo Binghe’s proxy is a male demon lord, Liu Qingge’s is an immortal war god, and Shen Qingqiu’s is a heavenly maiden tragically torn between her love for them both.
As it’s Liu Mingyan writing it, naturally the Luo Binghe and Liu Qingge’s proxies end up doing quite a bit of hate screwing while competing for their beloved’s hand in marriage. To Liu Qingge’s horror, and Luo Binghe’s delight, the Luo Binghe proxy is the gong. (😈: “It’s not like we haven’t done it that way before.” ⚔️: “Shut up!”)

Luo Binghe originally called Shen Qingqiu ‘Qing-jie’ in private, but Shen Qingqiu felt this was a bit awkward with the number of Qing’s around, so asked her to use ‘Yuan-jie’ instead. (Most of the other concubines refer to her as Shen-jie).
The deadly poison that killed Liu Qingge in the original story was a Mo Kingdom poison appropriately called Without-a-Cure. (Liu Qingge gets to be the one poisoned by it for once!) Young Mo Kingdom nobles were typically given an incredibly dilute and less fatal variation of this poison, along with another herbal concoction, for immunity purposes (their own flavor of mithridatism). Unfortunately, having received a full dose of the nastiest variant as a full grown adult, Liu Qingge’s life could only be extended by slowing the poison’s progression.
After Shen Qingqiu and Shang Qinghua discover their shared transmigration status, Shang Qinghua offers to call Shen Qingqiu ‘Peerless Melons’ or ‘Melon-jie’ in deference to her new form. He gets a fan beating in response. Probably for the best really, since he doesn’t want Bing-jie to murder him for noticing her beloved’s ‘melons.’
As a possible plot twist, maybe Tianlang Jun didn’t die during the war after all, but was dragged off to some secluded mountain temple by his nephew instead, where he has been slowly recovering from his grievous injuries. After leaving said mountain, he ends up being a big fan of Liusu Mianhua’s work.

Tumblr media Tumblr media
Our good friend Jonathan Harker is getting ready to leave for his business trip, Mina Murray is picking out a new journal, Lucy Westenra is charming a gaggle of smitten suitors, Abraham van Helsing is wrapping up his lectures, and Castle Dracula is prepping the guest room for a very long stay.
Which must mean that Dracula Season is here again!
‘Dracula Season’ being a catchall term for the voracious reading, memeing, writing, illustrating, analyzing, and general fun-having that’s ensued since Matt Kirkland’s project, Dracula Daily, caught on with us back in 2022. The Substack had already been running before then, but it sparked a conflagration as time went on and readers old and new to Bram Stoker’s Dracula—the actual novel, not Coppola’s fanfiction—devoured it in a way that scratched an itch none of us knew we had. Stoker wrote the book in epistolary fashion, clumping sections together as needed for the pacing without perfect adherence to chronological order. Matt went ahead and put all the events in order and proceeded to set up a lovely chain of emails that delivered entries on those correlating dates.
This style of organization and pacing turned out to not only make the virtual book club that much easier to engage with, but left space in-between to stew on the story and relate with the characters themselves. Every day of waiting in the book feels weightier when you have to pace and sweat and worry in tandem with poor Jonathan trapped in the castle or Lucy wasting away or Mina running out the clock before she loses the fight for her own humanity. And while we sat with the story or the lulls between Dracula Seasons, some of us found ourselves craving more of that ghastly gothic horror goodness to the point that we figured:
“Well. Why don’t I make something?”
And then we did! Tons of creative works have been churned out in the wake of Dracula Daily’s high. I figured that while we’ve still got a bit of time to wait for May 3rd, we should check out all this new stuff in the meantime. (Plus a handful of neat stuff that just clicks with the Dracula itch overall.)
So, in the interest of Dracula Season pregaming, let’s take a look at…
FICTION
Blood of My Blood – A recent addition to the Dracula Bad Ending AU pile, and definitely one of the most harrowing and addictive group-produced narratives I’ve ever come across, Blood of My Blood is the dramatically gothic currently-WIP work of @ibrithir-was-here and @animate-mush’s devious design. Give or take a heap of other fascinated folks (hello!) adding ideas to put more Horror into the Horrors that our cast has to face. The premise:
The Transylvanian climax went fatally sour and the Harkers were forced to shelter with Dracula himself, including their half-vampire son, Quincey. Cut to two decades later, and Quincey finds himself out in modern London, smitten with Lu, adopted daughter of Arthur and Jack, and diving into certain bloodstained old documents that detail the real history of how his parents came to live in the castle. Said revelations coming not a moment too soon, as a storm is coming for him straight from the Carpathians…
Dracula Daily Sketch Collection – An array of illustrations that captures every entry beat by beat, the Dracula Daily Sketch Collection by Georgia Cook, alias @georgiacooked was dished out over the course of the last Dracula Season. Some of the most fun character designs out there.
Fanfiction Spotlight: BlueCatWriter – With a whopping 99 works devoted to the novel Dracula (so far, the number may have gone up since I blinked), @bluecatwriter is one of the most prolific and talented fanfiction scribblers out there. Romances, nightmares, and overlaps between the two seem to crop up the most, give or take a crossover. Seems fitting that those blue paw prints have contributed to BoMB too.
The League of Extraordinary Gentlefolk – An ongoing comic in which all your favorite characters from the Classics section get together and tackle some perils ranging from the mundane to the monstrous. Started by the amazing @mayhemchicken and posted on @lxgentlefolkcomic, this series is a love letter to beloved Victorian era lit, with a spotlight on the two couples leading the League. Namely, the Harkers, ala Dracula, and the Nortons, ala Sherlock Holmes,’ “A Scandal in Bohemia.” Mina and Irene are the driving investigative and steering forces here, and still deeply in love with their likewise-infatuated husbands, just like in their canons! What a concept! Alan.
Without spoiling the full character list, just know there are going to be a ton of familiar faces roaming around before you finish reading the first arc. Said arc having conveniently wrapped up just a few days ago! Give the comic and its bonus silliness a look if you’re in the mood for a new comfort-adventure epic.
Re: Dracula – Probably the most well-known and incredible thing to come out of the initial Dracula Daily wave. This podcast is a full audio drama that follows the same format as the Substack, with episodes coming out in time with the entries themselves. And it has an unfairly cool soundtrack. They have a Tumblr with @re-dracula, a site and a Patreon to check out before the series kicks up again on May 3rd. (Also, keep an eye out for their next work, an audio drama in the same style with Carmilla.)
The Soldier and the Solicitor – Another treat from @ibrithir-was-here, this one involves a bit of time travel trouble. Quincey Harker has stumbled out of World War I and into the same dark forest where his father once fled for his life…then runs into the man himself, on that same night. Jonathan Harker, young and starved and lost, who has no choice but to trust this stranger while the Weird Sisters are at his heels…despite said stranger having no shadow. It’s a tasty emotional trek, already complete on Tumblr, but now it’s turning into a Webtoon. While Ibrithir is juggling a number of other stories, she’ll be redrawing spruced up versions of the comic and adding a few new scenes as things unfold.
Substack Stack – You know what’s better than one emailed-out public domain book club? A mountain of them. Just. So, so many of them. You’ll see that a lot of these are finished, but some are still ticking along. Either way, they’re all great picks if you’re craving some more old school lit to fill the void between undead emails.
Frankenstein Weekly – Frankenstein
Jekyll and Hyde Weekly – The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde
Voyage of the Nautilus – Twenty-Thousand Leagues Under the Sea
Letters from Watson – Sherlock Holmes
The Invisible Mail – The Invisible Man
Letters from Bunny – E.W. Hornung’s short stories of the eponymous Bunny and Raffles
Letters Regarding Jeeves - P. G. Wodehouse’s Bertie Wooster short stories, including the novel, Right Ho, Jeeves
……
………
…The Beetle Weekly – The Beetle (NOTE: Do Not Read This.)
The Vampyres – A novella I finally wrenched through the gears of self-publication as of March this year. Starring a petite but powerful paranormal cast, The Vampyres, centers on an unscrupulous undead fellow who finds that the revenants of the world are being mowed down by an entity known only as ‘Quinn Morse.’ Between trying to save his neck and figure out where the shadowy bastard came from, the Vampyre in question crosses paths with a new paramour and handy human shield in the form of a grieving Good Samaritan. He’s even polite enough to invite the Vampyre into his home while he’s in dire straits! Surely this will end well. All the info is available here and a little author site is over here.
What Manner of Man – This is the one made for everyone who started out hoping there’d be a real love story with our good friend Jonathan Harker and the Count when he was at his most charismatic. Where that sea of wonders dried up into a mire of horror, What Manner of Man by @stjohnstarling keeps things firmly on the romantic tracks. This Substack stars the letter-writing priest Father Victor E. Ardelian as he finds himself meeting with one enigmatic Lord Alistair Vane. It isn’t long before interest turns into intrigue and intrigue into undead intimacies.
The entire novel has been completed—along with multiple epilogues in the author’s Patreon, allowing readers to choose for themselves just how the uncanny romance plays out in the end—and the Substack now has a number of other gothic goodies piling up in the meantime.
NONFICTION
Dracula Daily: A Unique Reading Experience: This one comes courtesy of @realwomenofgaming. It’s a short and sweet piece that amounts to a fun snapshot of the entire Dracula Daily ride. A cozy couple-minute read.
‘Dracula Daily’ is the One Substack You Need a Subscription To: Features my favorite Matt Kirkland interview. @mattkirkland, if you’re still floating around on here, thank you for dispatching our vampire newsletter again this year.
Dracula Daily is Tumblr’s hottest new book club: Alright, the ‘new’ part is worn out by now, but this one is still a delightful article to swing back around to. Two years on, this Polygon piece is a time capsule of those early months when people outside our bookworm bubble realized we were all happily receiving letters from our favorite classic gothic horror blorbos.
“How Mina Murray Became Dracula’s Girlfriend” – Princess Weekes, if you ever read this, thank you, thank you, thank you. I am sending oceans of love and millions of rewatches to your video essay. If you haven’t seen it yet, “How Mina Murray Became Dracula’s Girlfriend” is one of the most refreshing and well-made breakdowns of both the title subject and numerous other issues that have proliferated in the public view of Dracula’s cast and plot as adaptations endlessly warp or outright bastardize the actual novel. An incredibly cathartic watch.
Literary play gone viral: delight, intertextuality, and challenges to normative interpretations through the digital serialization of Dracula: A mouthful of a title for an even more elaborate article about the Dracula Daily phenomenon. This one is a full-on study that analyzes just what happened within the big bloodsucker book club surge and how its ‘wandering reading practices’ enriched the experience for participants.
“The Undying Undead: An analysis of the Dracula Daily community for a theory of online community formation and interaction” – We have a thesis on here! Look at that! @sirangelothebestest’s MA thesis used our vampiric book club as the bones for a massive brick of an academic piece that definitely deserves a look.
…And I think I’ll go ahead and cap things here.
This isn’t everything I got recommended, but if I had squashed all of it in here, I think folks’ eyes would start to fall out of their head. I hope you can find something cool to comb through here. Or, if there’s something great I overlooked, tack it onto the list! We’ve got just two weeks to go until we’re off with Mr. Harker. Let’s enjoy our respite before those castle doors close behind us.

If he had to reveal his true identity to any of your friends, Sylus was glad it was Zayne. He was the least likely to hand him over to the Association, especially knowing that, as a part of said Association yourself, you hadn’t done so already.
It was a tense ride from the hospital to one of Sylus’s many safe houses throughout Linkon. They said nothing to each other until they reached their destination, and Zayne finally broke the silence after walking through the threshold into Sylus’s high-rise, luxury apartment.
“Do I want to know?” he asked.
Sylus glanced over his shoulder at the doctor. “Would knowing change your willingness to help me?”
“I’m not entirely sure why you brought me along in the first place,” Zayne countered.
Sylus led Zayne to a closed door at the end of a long hallway. He turned, facing him as he crossed his arm. “I brought you along because you care about Y/N as much as I do, and because you have a past with both of them that could be used to our advantage.
“I’ll ask again, Doctor, is knowing going to change anything? Once we walk through this door, there’s no going back.”
Sylus saw the weight of the decision Zayne wrestled with in his hazel gaze. His patience was running thin, rescuing you from the Colonel’s clutches taking up every thought in his mind. It killed him enough to be in this apartment rather than following the tracker attached to your wrist, but he needed a level-headed plan first. The Colonel was intelligent, calculated, he would be anticipating Sylus coming after you, so Sylus needed to be several steps ahead to ensure you made it safety back into his arms.
“No,” the doctor said at last. “It won’t change anything.”
“Good,” Sylus said, spinning on his heel and bursting through the door. “Let’s get to work.”
Following Sylus through the door, Zayne was transported into another world.
Harsh, artificial light illuminated an entire wall full of guns, various crates scattered across the floor in front of them. Across from the array of weapons were numerous computer screens with live CCTV footage from what seemed like every corner of Linkon. Others displayed sets of numbers that meant absolutely nothing to Zayne, or radar-looking gps trackers. Sat at the desk below the screens were two men in matching crow masks.
Their heads turned in unison upon hearing footsteps approaching them.
“Luke, Kieran, this is Doctor Zayne, Y/N’s primary care physician,” Sylus introduced as he stood behind their chairs, red eyes flicking from one screen to another. “Play nice.”
“Yes Boss!” they harmonized.
Zayne was rooted to the ground feet from the trio. “What exactly…is all this?”
Sylus remained silent, too focused on what was in front of him to respond.
“Ever heard of Onychinus?” one of the masked men asked.
Zayne’s stomach dropped.
The other man jerked his thumb back toward Sylus. “That’s our boss.”
Zayne’s eyes widened. You were…dating the leader of Onychinus… The leader of the very organization he’d warned you against becoming a target of all those months ago. The leader currently holding the highest bounty on his head at the Association you worked for. And yet rather than turn him in…you fell in love instead? Zayne couldn’t help but marvel at the strange twist of fate, at the star-crossed lovers who’d still found a way to be together despite living in completely different worlds.
In that moment, Zayne was sure he’d put his faith in the right man. If anyone was going to get you back, to ensure your safe return, it was the man who had no problem doing whatever it took to do so.
“Are we good, Doctor?” Sylus asked, drawing Zayne’s attention.
Zayne met the leader of Onychinus’s striking red eyes. “We’re good.”
Sylus’s lips twitched upward. “Then let’s get to work.”
“Caleb!”
Your fists pounded against the locked door.
“Caleb!”
You sounded desperate, calling out Caleb’s name, and you were. The man who was meant to be your childhood best friend had taken you by force, brought you to some undisclosed location, and locked you in this room all alone. There was no way to leave this unassuming bedroom—the door was dead-bolted from the outside, the few windows were barred—and even if you managed to escape, you had no idea where you were and how to get home.
Caleb had you well and truly trapped.
You’d barely spoken during the long drive to your prison, too overwhelmed with emotion to even beg him to let you go. Caleb made futile attempts at normal conversation but had given up rather quickly when he realized you weren’t going to respond.
Now here you were, scared and alone.
Your pounding gradually weakened until you stopped entirely, sliding down the door onto the floor, silent tears doing the same down your face.
You had no idea what Caleb was planning to do with you here. You hoped you knew him well enough to say he’d never hurt you but mere hours ago you would’ve sworn on your Gran’s grave that Caleb would never kidnap you. The fear of the unknown was as overwhelming as your fear for the man himself.
Your fingers twisted the bracelet around your wrist. You wanted Sylus. Was this morning the last time you’d ever see him? Was last night the last time you’d ever fall asleep in his arms? Your last kiss. Your last I love you.
A cry bubbled in your throat and tore free, your shoulders hunching as sobs racked your body.
What if Sylus couldn’t find you? What if, despite all that was available to him, it wasn’t enough? What if you were trapped here forever, forced to live on the hope that you’d one day find your way back to each other?
A soft knock on the door had you scrambling away to the bed in the center of the room, clutching a pillow to your chest as if to shield yourself.
“Pip-squeak? I’m coming in.”
Tears still streamed down your cheeks as Caleb unlocked and opened the door, carefully entering the space. His brow buckled slightly when his eyes fell on you, taking in your wild, defensive appearance.
When he took a small step toward you, every muscle in your body tensed, something he did not miss, so he halted.
Caleb held his hands up in surrender. “I’m not going to hurt you, pips.”
You scowled at him. “Oh you’re not? You don’t think you’ve done enough damage already?”
He flinched. “I’m sorry, Y/N, but I did what I had to in order to get you here. You wouldn’t have come willingly.”
“Of course I wouldn’t have!” you screamed. “You kidnapped me, Caleb!”
“That’s a harsh way of putting it pip-squeak.”
Fury erupted within you. “Harsh?! What the fuck would you call it then, Caleb? After you busted down Zanye’s door, forced him to his knees—our friend—before using your Evol on me in order to get me into your car? Then you drive me to the middle of nowhere and lock me in this fucking room? What the fuck is this other than a kidnapping?”
Caleb squeezed his eyes shut, warring with his own raging emotions. He didn’t want to lose his temper with you, but why was it so hard for you to see what he was doing for you? Why did you have to fight him on every single thing?
He took a steadying breath, knowing he needed to maintain control. “If you could just hear me out…”
“Hear you out? Why? Why would I do that?”
Why did you have to keep yelling at him?
Caleb advanced a few steps and you reacted instantly, snatching the alarm clock from the nightstand and holding it in the air, an unspoken threat. Not that you’d ever hit him, his Evol would ensure that, but it was the fact that you’d even try that sent a pang through his heart.
“Don’t you understand?” he pleaded. “I’m just doing this to keep you safe.”
“I’ve never been less safe than I am in this room with you,” you hissed.
And that did it.
Caleb snapped.
Fear skittered along your bones as Caleb transformed into the fierce, unyielding Colonel.
“You’ve never been less safe?” he questioned, his voice low, tone foreign. “Do you have any idea what I’ve done for you, Y/N? Everything I’ve ever done, my entire life, has been for you. To keep you happy, to keep you safe.
“I think about the past year, all the things I’ve done, staying away to ensure that when I came back for you, you’d be safe from the danger I worked so hard to eradicate for you. And what do you do, Y/N? You fell in love with the leader of Onychinus.”
“What did you expect me to do, Caleb?” you snapped. “I thought you were dead. Did you expect me to mourn you for the rest of my life? To never make another connection to what? Honor your memory? Alive or dead, you don’t fucking control me, Caleb. I’m free to fall in love with whomever I want, leader of Onychinus included.”
Caleb stalked toward you. “You just don’t get it do you? You’re mine. You belong to me. You always have, since we were kids. I’m the only one who knows how to take care of you. I’m the only one who can keep you safe.” He ran a hand through his hair, his face softening as he reached the bed where you’d coward against the headboard. “You’ll come around. We have all the time in the world here, and I’ll prove to you that I’m all you need. I’m all you’ll ever need.”
Your body trembled so hard the headboard rattled against the wall. “Caleb, I want to go home.”
Caleb smiled and your stomach sank.
“You are home.”
You decided to go on a hunger strike.
All day Caleb slaved in the kitchen, cooking your favorite dishes, only for you to refuse to eat altogether once he set the feast in front of you.
“Come on, pips,” Caleb urged, sounding more like your friend now than the Colonel. “You have to eat something. I made all your favorites.”
“I’m not hungry,” you grumbled.
“Okay, but you still need to eat.” Caleb grabbed your empty plate and piled it with a little of everything. “Just a bite.”
You looked at the food laid out before you, then at Caleb. His eyes were wide, pleading. In his own twisted way, he was trying his best for you.
Maybe if he hadn’t taken you, you would’ve given in.
But he had, so you didn’t.
Instead, with eyes trained on his, you slid your hand under the plate and flipped it off the table.
Gravity caught the plate—food and all—midair and Caleb never broke eye contact. Not as the mess was brought back to the table, placed neatly in front of you, as if nothing had happened at all.
Caleb’s gaze hardened. “Just a bite,” he repeated.
You knocked the plate off the table again, and this time it clattered to the ground.
You snapped to your feet with such force the chair almost toppled over. “I said I’m not hungry.”
Caleb ran a hand through his hair. “Fine,” he sighed. “I’m not going to force you.”
You scoffed but didn’t deign him with a response. You stormed out of the kitchen and into the bedroom Caleb had locked you in earlier, slamming the door shut.
Caleb remained seated, staring at the mess on the floor he’d have to clean up. He didn’t care about that though, nor the wasted food he’d spent hours making. He cared about the way you’d looked at him, like he was a stranger. Like you wanted nothing to do with him.
He knew he had a long road ahead of him, but he was prepared to fight for you. He wouldn’t be giving you up anytime soon.
He should feel bad, watching you like this, but he couldn’t muster any guilt.
Caleb had cameras everywhere, both inside the house and out—well almost everywhere. There were no cameras in the en-suite bathroom attached to your bedroom, that was one line he refused to cross. And if you walked into the bedroom clad only in a towel, he would turn away and wait, giving you privacy to change in peace.
It was imperative that he know what you were up to when he inevitably returned to the Fleet, the feeds available on an app on his phone. He also needed to keep an eye on the maze, to make sure a certain crime lord wasn’t attempting a rescue mission. Caleb knew it was a very real possibility, and he was as prepared for it as he could be, going as far as to have a secret underground entrance at the back of the house for him to come and go unseen.
But right now, Caleb needed to gauge how well you were handling this new arrangement.
Not well at all, actually.
You were curled on the bed, sobbing.
The sight had Caleb clenching his fists, using every bit of self-control to not storm into your room and gather you in his arms. But doing that would only upset you further, and if Caleb had any hope of you coming around, he needed to keep his distance.
So he just sat and watched with a sorrow-filled heart, reminding himself just a little longer.
Sylus hadn’t slept for more than an hour or so for days.
He’d returned to the N109 Zone with Zayne, Luke, and Kieran, where they’d been working nonstop coming up with a plan to rescue you.
The tracker within the bracelet Sylus had given you went dark before you’d reached your final destination. However, Sylus only purchased the most sophisticated of technology, and the tracker passed through several jammers before entering what was likely a dead-zone. It wasn’t ideal, but it narrowed down the area in which they’d have to search. Because the Colonel had taken painstaking measures to ensure you were not found, it took several scouts—both living and mechanical—to finally locate where he had taken you.
A compound, was the best way to describe where you were locked away. An intricate hedge maze lay before the structure itself, and Sylus had no doubts it was riddled with traps. The structure looked like a house, innocuous, unassuming, but again, Sylus knew better than to make such a naive assumption.
He expected nothing less from the Colonel but that didn’t mean Sylus wasn’t going out of his mind. With rage at the Colonel for taking things this far. With worry for you, and what you were going through. With impatience for how long this was taking.
Having Zayne around was a cooling balm to his ever tumultuous emotions. A voice of reason when Sylus was on the precipice of destroying another piece of furniture. He’d readily accepted the whirlwind of being whisked away to the N109 Zone. He’d actively participated in the organizing and planning of the scouting missions as well as the rescue mission. All the while remaining calm, clinical even. Sylus would be forever grateful having the doctor by his side.
Now, with all the information they could possibly gather, as ready as they’d ever be, Sylus, Zayne, Luke, and Kieran left the N109 Zone and set out to rescue you from the Colonel’s clutches.
A week.
Seven days.
One hundred sixty-eight hours.
Ten thousand eighty minutes.
Six hundred four thousand eight hundred seconds.
Sometimes, a week felt like years, other times it would be over in the blink of an eye.
This last week had felt like an eternity. A never ending stretch of time.
You only knew it had been a week because of the scratches you’d etched into the headboard in the bedroom. Seven marks, one for each day.
For the first few days, Caleb stayed at the house with you. In spite of his persistent coaxing, you rarely left the bedroom, so he would adapt as he always did. Equipped with snacks and various drinks, Caleb would hole himself up in the room with you, putting on a movie and sitting in the armchair near the window at first, then slowly moving closer to you as your defenses lowered until he was on the bed. He still kept his distance, of course, but the fact that you’d allow him on the bed at all was progress in his mind.
Unbeknownst to him, however, you had ulterior motives in letting Caleb get so close to you. You’d become desperate rather quickly, not to escape but to kill the part of you that still cared about Caleb. That warred with your rational mind, trying to convince you that, while severely misguided, Caleb really was doing what he thought was best for you. You were tired of this devil on your shoulder. You often wished he would actually hurt you—on purpose—just so you could extinguish that stubborn devil’s flame. At least then you’d have a definitive, unquestionable reason to do so.
In the following days, though, Caleb left you alone until the evening as he needed to return to the Fleet.
You learned within the first hour of being by yourself that there was no chance of escape. All the windows were locked and barred, with no tool or object available to pry them apart or break them. Just like the windows, any exit was locked so tight the door wouldn’t even budge when you rattled the doorknobs.
All you could do was sit and wait for Caleb to return with your thoughts as your lone companion.
Despite the abysmal path laid ahead of you, you were hopeful that Sylus would soon come to your rescue. You didn’t know how he would do it, but if anyone could, it was Sylus. And when he did, when you were safe in his arms, you would finally listen to him—like you should’ve from the onset—and cut Caleb off for good. You had to hold on to this hope, you needed to see him again if only to apologize and admit he’d been right all along. Why hadn’t you just listened to him?
You often played with the bracelet around your wrist—the one you promised never to take off. It made you feel connected to Sylus, helped keep your hope alive. You’d also caught Caleb watching you fiddle with it and you hadn’t missed the displeasure on his face whenever you did, so, as another form of protest, you made sure to always be touching it. You wanted Caleb to know how much you thought of Sylus, how taking you from him had done nothing to diminish the strength of your love.
The sun was setting outside the barred windows, casting an orange glow throughout the house. On a normal day, Sylus would just be waking up, unless you’d gotten him to ruin his sleep schedule for the umpteenth time. You wondered what he was doing, and if he’d been sleeping at all since you were taken.
Caleb was due back anytime now. Dread sank like a stone in your stomach at the thought.
You retreated into the bedroom, burrowing under the covers. You weren’t in any mood to see Caleb’s face. He would come find you, of course, then invade your space, but at least you wouldn’t have to look at him.
The front door slammed open, making you flinch. Caleb’s footsteps were swift as he strode to your bedroom—
Then walked right by it.
Caleb always went straight to you when he got back, still clad in his uniform. He would greet you, ask you if you need anything, before excusing himself to change.
Another door opened further down the hall.
You were out of the bed and in the hallway in seconds. The door at the end—the one that Caleb sometimes slipped into after leaving you for the night but remained locked when he wasn’t around—was now slightly ajar. You hurried over, staying light on your feet as to not alert Caleb of your presence, and poked your head into the room.
Caleb stood with his back facing you, but you weren’t focused on him, no, you were zeroed in on the wall of screens before him displaying security footage from nearly every inch of the house, both inside and out.
Had he been watching you this whole time? Keeping tabs on you while he was gone and even when he was here?
Movement from one of the outside cameras caught your eye before your thoughts could spiral further.
The air whooshed from your lungs and your knees threatened to buckle.
You’d recognize that snowy hair anywhere.
Sylus.
Sylus had come for you.
Caleb whirled around, his eyes widening in surprise finding you standing in the doorway.
Your gaze snapped to his, determination blazing bright and fierce. “Don’t make this harder than it needs to be, Caleb.”
His face twisted into a scowl.
He cocked the gun you hadn’t noticed, slipped it into a holster on his hip, and surged forward, throwing you over his shoulder before you so much as blinked.
“Caleb!” you screamed, fists pounding on his back and legs kicking against his abdomen. “Put me down!”
He made what sounded like a growl, his Evol locking your limbs in place to stop your struggle.
“Caleb please! Please, I just want to go home!”
Caleb barreled into your bedroom, hitting the door so hard it smacked against the wall. He unceremoniously dumped your body onto the bed, his Evol still keeping you immobile.
He grabbed your chin, forcing you to look at him, fury and possession darkening his purple gaze. “I told you already,” he snarled, “you are home.”
He stormed out, locking the door behind him but you weren’t able to move until you heard the echo of the front door slamming shut.
Your body slumped and you couldn’t bring yourself to straighten, too defeated, too hopeless. Sylus was here, he was so close you swore you felt his presence, but you couldn’t go to him. You couldn’t run into the safety of his arms, or hear him tell you everything would be all right. You were trapped in this bedroom while there would no doubt be a battle to the death just outside this prison disguised as a home. And you didn’t know if Sylus would be the one making it out alive.
Tears streamed down your cheeks. How did you get here? Ever since returning from Skyhaven, your life had taken a turn for the worse. You were happy, you were loved. You never thought reuniting with the one person who had meant the world to you would end like this.
You barked a humorless laugh into the empty room.
“To think,” you said aloud, sounding crazed, “had the explosion not happened, I might never have met Sylus.” You laughed again. “Maybe this was doomed from the start.”
A sudden tapping against the barred window had you snapping to your feet and whirling around.
Hope dared to bloom in your chest.
On the other side of the window stood, of all people, your primary care physician.
You rushed forward, wrapping your hands around the bars. “Zayne?!”
He waved his hand, indicating he wanted you to back away.
You listened, going to the bed where you watched as Zayne coated the windowpane with ice, the glass groaning as it froze over. With a blast of his Evol, the glass shattered.
“Zayne, what’s going on?” you demanded, taking a step toward the window.
“Please give me a moment to get rid of these bars,” Zayne answered, holding up his hand to halt you. “I’ll answer your questions once I get you out.”
You stayed where you were as Zayne repeated the same process with the bars, coating them in ice and blasting them to pieces with his Evol once they were frozen.
He reached his hand through the open threshold. “Let’s get you out of here.”
He helped you through the window, making sure you didn’t get cut by any remaining broken glass. When your feet hit the ground, when you were outside, you could finally breathe again.
You started toward the front of the house, determined to find Sylus regardless of whatever brawl was happening between him and Caleb.
But Zayne caught your wrist before you made it too far.
“We’re going a different way,” he said. “The twins are waiting to bring you back to the base.”
You blinked at him, taken aback. You’d have to dissect hearing such a statement from Zayne later.
“I can’t just leave him here, Zayne,” you protested. “I won’t leave him.”
“And I won’t let you walk right into danger,” Zayne said.
You were so tired of being told what to do.
You fixed the doctor with the same determined gaze you had given Caleb when you first saw Sylus on the security footage. “Take me to him, Zayne, I’m not asking.”
Caleb shouldn’t have been surprised Sylus was able to destroy the maze, not even a trace of the damn thing was left. It was only ever meant to be a distraction and Caleb knew it wouldn’t stop the Onychinus leader, but he at least hoped it’d slow him down.
“Did you really think I wouldn’t come after her?” Sylus questioned, raising a brow.
Caleb grinned something sadistic. “On the contrary, I was counting on it.”
Sylus frowned. “Very well Colonel, let’s finish this.”
Caleb, still with a smile, reached for the gun at his hip. However, Sylus favored melee, and was on the Colonel in the blink of an eye, throwing a flurry of Evol-laced punches. Caleb was forced to holster his weapon and meet the onslaught with blows of his own.
Gravity and energy were an interesting match-up. Though both Evols were immensely powerful, when pitted against one another, it was if they cancelled each other out.
Where gravity tried to bend and crush, energy consumed and nullified.
Where energy tried to rip and tear, gravity curled and formed a shield.
Black and red sparked, gravity swirled, creating a concentrated vortex of devastation around the two men.
If Caleb could just put some space between them, if he could just get to his gun, then this fight would turn in his favor.
But Sylus wouldn’t give him the chance. Every time Caleb managed to get a little distance, Sylus immediately closed it. Caleb grew frustrated, his control slipping.
Finally, finally, he hit Sylus was a strong enough blast of gravity to send the leader careening backward.
“Sylus!”
The sound of your voice had both men’s heads snapping to the side.
Zayne was there too, trailing after you, a look of apology on his face as he met Sylus’s displeased gaze. Sylus should’ve known you wouldn’t listen to the doctor and follow him to safety. Truly, he expected nothing less of you, but that didn’t mean he wanted you here, in the middle of danger.
You ran toward him to fight by his side. To face Caleb and put an end to this once and for all.
Caleb took full advantage of Sylus’s momentary distraction and once again drew the gun at his hip.
Then everything happened so fast. Too fast.
You were closer to the Onychinus leader than Caleb realized and when he pulled the trigger, it was you the gun was aimed at, not Sylus.
Sylus’s Evol wrapped around the bullet, intent on disintegrating it midair, well before it ever pierced your flesh.
Except this was no ordinary bullet. It was Evol-resistant, meaning Sylus’s black-red mist was useless to stop the bullet from sinking right into your chest.
How many times did he have to tell you not to throw yourself in front of him? He was your shield, not the other way around.
Sylus felt the bullet as though it’d pierced his own flesh.
Before you even swayed, Sylus erupted.
No one truly knew the power Sylus was capable of, not until this moment. His Evol was a force of pure destruction, wrapping protectively around you (and the doctor, as Sylus maintained the wherewithal to do so) only to wreak havoc beyond. He always said he’d burn the world for you if he had to, and he was finally making good on that promise.
As fast as the eruption started, it ended, silence settling thick in the air. A mile-wide black-red scorch mark covered the earth, leaving nothing but ashes in its wake.
It was impossible to tell whether the Colonel was amongst the devastation or had managed a miraculous escape, but Sylus couldn’t care less as he rushed toward where he’d carefully lowered you to the ground.
He gathered you in his arms, pressing hard on the gun wound to help slow the bleeding.
“Sweetie, please,” he begged, the desperation in his voice foreign to him. “Please, stay with me.”
Zayne fell to knees, already assessing your condition with clinical precision.
“I need you to get the bullet out,” Sylus demanded. Before Zayne could respond, Sylus had his phone out and to his ear. “Get over here, now.”
The loud squeal of tires echoed as the twins gunned it down the convenient 1.2 mile stretch of barren land to where you lay unconscious in Sylus’s arms.
They were there in less than a minute, screeching to a halt. With a prepared medkit in hand, they were out of the car and passing it to Zayne within seconds.
“Get the bullet out,” Sylus snarled. “Once it’s out I can heal her.” Far quieter he said, “Please.”
Zayne wasted no time, slipping on gloves with practiced ease before grabbing the tweezers to dislodge the bullet. You got lucky, so unbelievably lucky that the bullet didn’t pierce your heart, Zayne estimated it missed by about an inch. It didn’t mean you were in the clear, but if Sylus could heal you like he said, then you just might have a chance at surviving this.
Years of working under pressure kept Zayne’s hands steady despite the terror coursing through him. He didn’t want to lose you either, couldn’t even bring himself to picture a world without you in it.
The tweezers closed around the bullet and Zayne slowly pulled it free, letting out the breath he didn’t know he was holding.
Sylus’s Evol wrapped around you once more, his power flowing through your wound, healing you before he lost you in this lifetime.
“Don’t leave me, Y/N,” Sylus whispered. “Don’t you dare leave me.”
You were positive you were dead.
The last thing you remembered, after getting shot, was being consumed by hellfire.
To be honest, while you were a little sad, you had no regrets as long as Sylus made it out alive. Perhaps you could plead with whatever god watched over the afterlife to tell you if he’d made it. Surely said god would take pity on you since you sacrificed yourself for your lover.
The afterlife was quite comfortable though, and it made you doubt whether it was hellfire you saw during your last seconds or something else entirely. You were surrounded by silk, cushioned by softness, reminding you of Sylus’s bed. Maybe you got lucky, maybe you were in heaven because laying in Sylus’s bed certainly felt like heaven to you.
The afterlife also had music, classical music to be specific. It played in the background, a gentle lull tempting you to fall back into oblivion but you were curious to explore this new world.
Your eyes fluttered open.
Heaven was more than just Sylus’s bed, it looked exactly like his room. Tears pricked in your eyes at the thought of existing here without him. Heaven or not, you wouldn’t be truly happy if he wasn’t by your side.
Swallowing your tears, you slowly sat up, surprised to find you were sore despite having passed on. Your chest ached where you’d been shot and breathing was a bit difficult because of it.
“Sweetie you really shouldn’t be moving so much.”
Your head snapped up at the sound of his voice so fast you almost blacked out.
“Sylus?!” you cried.
There he was, in all his beautiful glory, brow creased with worry as he crossed the room over to the bed. He sank down beside you, and you felt him there, as real as he’d ever been.
You tentatively reached out a hand, your fingertips grazing the edge of his sleeve. “I— I thought I was dead,” you whispered.
Sylus’s lips curled into a soft smile. “Your doctor and I worked very hard not to let that happen, sweetie.”
“Zayne’s still here?” you questioned.
He shook his head. “Not at the moment, but he was.” With all the gentleness in the world, Sylus took your hand in his, thumb brushing over your knuckles. “You’ve been asleep for three days.”
You blinked in disbelief. For you, it had felt like no time had passed at all. “Am I…okay?”
Sylus huffed a chuckle. “Yes, you’re okay. Zayne will come by now that you’re awake to give us a treatment plan.”
You groaned, flopping down onto the bed, much to the aggravation of your healing wound. “He’s always so strict.”
“He’s your doctor, of course he is.”
You glanced at Sylus, meeting those red eyes you loved so much. “What happened to Caleb?”
Sylus’s expression shifted slightly, as though this was the last thing he wanted to talk about right now. “Gone, as far as I can tell. There’s no trace of him.”
You waited for the wave of sadness to hit you, but all you felt was the smallest pang of regret. Not regret over what happened, but that maybe there was something you could’ve done differently to prevent the outcome.
“I’m sorry,” you said, squeezing Sylus’s hand. “You were right, the whole time, and I should’ve listened to you. I’m sorry, Sy.”
“You have nothing to apologize for,” he said. “I’m sorry it didn’t end the way you wanted it to.”
“All that matters to me is that I have you,” you insisted. “I love you, Sylus.”
He smiled again, looking at you like you held his entire world in your hands. “I love you too, Y/N.”
You averted your gaze, cheeks tinging pink. “This might be sudden, but after everything, I, um— Would you, um— Would you maybe want to move in together? You know, once we complete my doctor’s borderline authoritarian treatment plan.”
His eyes widened slightly. Then he laughed something genuine, the sound music to your ears. “You never fail to surprise me, sweetie.”
“Is that a yes?”
He brought your hand to his lips. “That is a resounding yes.”
For the first time since coming back from Skyhaven, everything felt right again. You might not have died, but being with Sylus was the only heaven you’d ever need.
The black hole was quiet, comforting.
It felt vaguely familiar, like he’d experienced something similar once before, or maybe he hadn’t yet? Time was hard to distinguish here.
There was peace though, around him, inside his heart. He couldn’t remember the last time he’d felt like this.
Yeah, the black hole wasn’t so bad.
He’d be okay here.
Bonus:
“I don’t know why you insist on packing everything, I told you I’d just replace it at the base.”
You huffed, placing your hands on your hips as you straightened from the box you’d been carefully packing. “My things cannot be replaced, Sylus, they are special to me.”
Sylus cocked a brow and held up a clearly neglected pen he’d found under your bed. “This is special to you?”
You gaped at him. “Ugh, you are so insufferable!”
Sylus laughed. “Better get used to it, sweetie, because you’re about be stuck with my insufferability.”
You stormed up to where he sat on the floor beside your bed, bending over so you were at eye level. You then placed a chaste kiss right on the tip of his nose. “Good, because I don’t want to live without it.”
Sylus smiled and cupped the back of your neck, bringing your lips to his for an impassioned kiss. “And I don’t want to live without you, my beloved.”

A/N; this can be read on its own, i think, but part one was a hit in my books and i couldn't stop thinking about Father Jayce and reader. Theres also a little someone on ao3 who sent the most amazing comment and I got a fire ignited under my ass so now we're here. Again, this is dedicated to my babies on discord, all of them. This wouldn't be here without them. Anywho, enjoy!

Absolution; Formal release from guilt, obligation, or punishment.
It’s customary for the Priest to wait in the confessional, sitting in the small box for the small door on the other side to open, a person to come sit down, and confess to him their sins. From there, he would listen, give advice, and pray with them before sending them on their way. It was something he had done multiple times before, finding comfort in the enclosed space. His own body heat would keep him warm, heating the small space rather quickly. Taking off his rosary, he could drag the small chain through his fingers, playing with the beads. He would think of prayers, roll a bead between the pads of his fingers, grip the small cross and lightly kiss it. He would do this for hours, sometimes someone would arrive, sometimes there would be no one.
The sun was shining brightly through the small lattice on the door in front of him, directly in his eyesight, blinding him. Gold light filtered through stained glass, casting an array of colorful rays across the pews and patrons. Eyes clenched shut, he sits taller while leaning his head back against the wood, sighing. There was an imaginary clock in his mind, constantly ticking away, bringing a faux comfort. He could hear the slight commotion of people still in the church, talking to loved ones and neighbors who were all smiles and high off of the worship he held. He needed something more to keep him distracted, the LED clock in the confessional was silent, unlike the clock in his bedroom. Its ticking filled his mind now, his foot tapping the ground along with it.
Arms moving, he moves the slowly sliding bible back into its place on his lap, the book small enough to sit idly on his thigh. It rocks back and forth in time with the bouncing of his foot, the movement bringing yet another distraction.
He wished to go back to his room, sit at his desk in his office- no, the desk in his bedroom. He hadn’t sat at the desk in his office for eight days, two hours- his eyes crack open to peek at the small LED clock in the corner of the confessional- and forty-five minutes. He prayed for the strength to sit at the mahogany desk, to write correspondence to other churches, and send letters to the people who gracefully sent donations.
Yet, perhaps he didn’t pray hard enough, didn’t kneel at the side of his bed long enough. Didn’t sit in this small box long enough. Perhaps, God has turned his nose up at him, forsaken him from the greatness of being forgiven. Even now, your ghost had its claws wrapped around his heart like a vice, whispering obscenities into his ear while he was alone. You were the one who led him down this path, and now he searched for the bright light of God with his eyes closed.
Guilt eats away at the fibers of his soul, rips him apart late at night when the image of you appears in his mind, a giggling smile on your lips as they skim across his throat. Your hands were so warm, though, dragging across his body without condescendence. He would wake up and find himself sweating profusely in his cold room the next morning, breathing heavily as his hands grip the blanket. With shaking legs, he would sit up and rip the drawer of his night stand open, glare at the blue rosary that was tied tightly around a small bible, and grab his new one.
He would drop to his knees, heart racing, and pray until the sweat on his back dried.
Even now, he thinks he can sense you in this enclosed space with him. Your scent lingering in the air around him, permeating his clothes no matter how many times he changes or washes them.
Hands gripping his rosary, he hopes the metal cross cuts into his skin. Maybe then, if he sacrificed his blood, God would see he was punished long enough. Maybe then, he could be forgiven. Your face appears in his mind, and his teeth clench. How could you do this to him? Reduce him to nothing but the filth that lines the pristine floors?
Jayce startles when the door on the other side opens, his breath quick as he shifts in place. Clearing his throat, he waits for the person on the other side to get comfortable, their throat clearing. It's silent then, both Jayce and the newcomer getting comfortable with each other. Jayce’s eyes clenched shut, your scent washing over him with newfound strength, the hair on the back of his neck stands and as if he was struck with lightning-
“Bless me, Father, for I have sinned.”
Your voice.
His heart shakes, muscles tight and his breath short. Immediately, he thinks he can zone in on your breathing, so calm and quiet. Eyes cracking open, his head tilts to the lattice, and he can see your lips curved into a smirk. It's sickening, how the sight of you can make him feel so electric. You ignite something deep within him, akin to a lighter held under a sparkler. His stomach clenches, and his leg stalls its bounce. Fingers gripping his rosary, the sudden weight of the bible in his lap taunts him.
“I’ve never confessed before, could you guide me?”
“I-” his voice squeaked out, and he snapped his jaw shut. Swallowing, Jayce looks back to his lap, gazing at the rosary. Was it just him, or did it suddenly look like the blue one he cast aside? Was the small figure of Jesus gazing with accusatory eyes? Did he know what was reeling in his mind at the sight of you?
“Father?”
His eyes shut tight, head falling towards his chest, shoulders hunched, robes tight over his shoulders, “I listen to your confession.”
It took a lot of strength to force his voice into a steady cadence. The small box seemed to be a little too small, he seemed too big to be in here. What once was comfort, was now torment. Your voice filled his side, bouncing off the wood and surrounding him.
“I give you advice, and you’ll- um,” he shifts in his spot, refusing to meet your gaze through the lattice, “You’ll be on your way.”
“Are you alright, Father?” You’re smiling, he just knows it. He can see your face behind his eyelids, how bright your gaze is, how your pupils are dilating at the sight of him so unkept.
Nodding his head, he takes one more deep breath. He couldn’t let you see him like this, he was supposed to push what happened between you to the back of his mind. Forget it, even. He was praying to God for forgiveness, and by letting you entrap his senses, he would be pushed back to step one.
“What was that?” Taunting, you hum, “I didn’t quite hear you.”
Shivering, he lifts his head and finally gazes through the lattice, meeting your sharp eyes. They’re encapsulating, looking at him with knowing. You can see him for what he truly is, a man of sin.
Yet, it was your fault he was like this, why he swallows a whine and lets his mouth open to answer. If he were to put on a strong front, you would understand why he couldn’t progress in this sinful back and forth. Couldn’t let you torment him with your pretty words, or your addicting touch.
“I’m here to listen to your confession, please just-” voice trailing off, his hands grip the rosary for comfort, but all he finds is the sharp edges of the cross.
You chuckle, head leaning against the wood, raising your hand to tap your forehead, chest, and each shoulder.
“In the name of the Father, Son, and The Holy Spirit. My confession, Father, is that I cannot stop thinking about you.”
Jayce smiles, gaze locked onto his rosary, “That’s normal- I’m your Priest-”
“No, Father,” voice quiet. serious, you shift closer to the lattice, “I think of you when my fingers are inside me, I wish they were yours-”
Muscles tight, Jayce says the first thing that comes to mind, “that was a mistake-”
“Was it? You seemed to enjoy yourself a lot, Father.”
“Temptation is a powerful thing, but you must find it in yourself to resist.”
There’s silence on the other side, your gaze assessing him. Humming, you let your head swing to the side, your own fingers rubbing across the tops of your thighs absentmindedly.
“How can I resist, Father?”
Finally, his lungs allow air in. He breathes deeply, ignoring his shaking hands. He ignores the fire in his gut, how his thighs clench together, and recites words from the book still resting in his lap, “Asks for guidance out of temptation, and for the strength to use the Word of God as a weapon.”
“Ah,” you sigh, “the Word of God as a weapon? Do you really think that’ll save me?”
There's a teasing tilt to your tone, and Jayce ignores it. Voice closer, you whisper through the lattice, “have you been saved, father?”
“I ask for forgiveness, just as you are now,” he whispers in return. Hands shaking, he lets his fingers return to fidgeting with the rosary beads. His mouth waters, wanting you to drop it into his mouth-
No, he cannot think of that. He was a holy man. Faithful to his God.
“So, you’ve confessed?”
Nodding, he bites his cheek, his skin burning, “I- I have.”
“Liar.”
White hot fear runs through his veins, and his hands unknowingly release the rosary. It clatters to the ground between his feet, and his eyes meet yours. They narrowed, disappointingly pointed his way; All of a sudden, he felt the roles reversed.
“No-”
“How often do you think of me, Jayce?”
Heart racing, his hands grip the tops of his thighs, feel the muscles beneath tighten.
His chest heaves, and his legs clench together. Pushing back that licking flame that ignited between his legs, all because of your voice. It's sticky-sweet like honey, drowning him in molasses that clogs his senses. He can feel his cock twitch, wanting your touch instead of his.
Head leaning back against the wood, he can feel a droplet of sweat run down the back of his neck, soaking into the roman collar. His shaking hands move to grip his bible, fingers sliding between the pages to seek any form of strength. He can hear it rip under the pressure of his grip, yet how else would he ground himself? His mind races, feeling your eyes staring at him through the lattice
“Does your God know you think of me as much as you do him?”
Jayces’ shuddering breath is loud, eyebrows furrowed as he wills his racing heart to calm. He must not give in. This must be another test for him, he thinks. This was God's way of seeing if he was worthy of forgiveness.
Yet, you seemed so genuine, even if you sounded teasing.
“What do you tell yourself at night? Maybe I could speak the same, so I can forget about you.”
A whine, and Jayce thinks he doesn't want you to forget him. He couldn’t forget you, no matter what he did, what he said, or tried. Stomach turning, he can see your waiting eyes, how you won’t change the subject until he gives in.
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us of our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”
“Ah,” you nod your head once, “Do you want to be forgiven, though?”
He’s silent, clenching his teeth, “Of course.”
You sigh, and with a low voice you talk with a harsh tone, “then why are you still speaking to me?”
“I-” voice stuck in his throat, Jayce knows he’s had the opportunity to steer the conversation back, to not engage you in such sinful conversation. Yet, he craved it. To be told what to do, to be on his knees between your knees instead of the altar.
“Oh,” you say, Jayce freezing. Had you read him so easily?
“Oh, you’re liking this, aren’t you?”
Whining, his thighs clench. You laugh, and it makes his chest seize. Cock jumping in his robes, Jayce refuses to touch himself. There were people outside, they would hear-
“I’m liking this too,” you whisper, and he can hear the first button pop from your pants. Shoulders tense, his breathing turns rapid.
“You’ve plagued my mind everyday, Jayce, its tormenting-”
A zipper, and Jayce can feel his thighs shake. His fingers curl against the pages, and he clenches his eyes shut. You were taunting him, you wouldn’t touch yourself now, in the confessional of all places.
“You-” he whines, “you’ve been tormenting me-”
“Good,” a sigh, and he wishes to be in the small space with you, to tear down this wall to see your form in all its glory, “should we pray together, Father? Beg together for forgiveness?”
Shivering, he pushes his head further against the wood, swallowing with a dry throat.
“Lord God, in your goodness have mercy on me: do not look on my sins, but take away all my guilt. Create in me a clean heart and renew within me an upright spirit-”
Your voice starts immediately after his, repeating his words, breathy and soft. The fire, slowly swelling in his stomach, licks and burns at his chest at the sound of your sweet voice wrapping around each syllable of the prayer. He sets the bible in the small space beside him, sliding his free hands across his torso.
He moves, fingers undoing the buttons of his robes. With a shaking grip, he slowly pushes it to the side, the air wrapping around his thighs. Cock jumping, Jayce whines softly. His hands rest on the inside of his thighs, his cock radiating heat under his boxers. Chest shuddering, his back slouches, legs spreading.
“forgive all my sins, renew your love in my heart, help me to live in perfect unity with my fellow Christians that I may proclaim your saving power to all the world.”
Tone shaking, he barely opens his eyes to find you already looking at him. Your own eyes were half lidded, chest heaving as your mouth opened to copy him once more. He can barely see you, but he can make out how your shirt was pulled up on your tummy, your pants undone, your hand hidden under the fabric. Your back was arching, neck exposed to the light that seeps in.
He can’t help himself, his hands grip his cock over his boxers, hips jumping into the contact. Jayce growls, rough and gravely as he grips the base of his clothed cock.
“Jayce,” you whimper, and he moans. You sounded so heavenly, his mind reeling at the cadence.
“Do you think we’ll be forgiven?” You ask, smirking. He shakes his head, and watches as your gaze shifts to the ceiling. Eyes closing, your eyebrows furrow as you lose yourself in your own pleasure. Jayce whimpers, wanting to be the one giving you that pleasure, he wants you to be above him, using him, punishing him for being so sinful.
“Keep talking, Jayce, be a good boy.”
“Hnng- I-” he chokes, snapping his gaze to his lap. There was a rapidly growing wet patch at the tip of his cock, he grips the top of his boxers, pulling the elastic away to push it down his thighs. The fabric is tight against his skin, straining. With his cock finally free, he softly trails the tips of his shaking fingers along the shaft. Twitching, he presses his finger into the beads of pre that seeps from the tip.
“Tell me another prayer, Father,” it's harsh now, how your eyes glare at him. He bites his cheek, sparing a glance to the bible next to him, searching his mind for anything to say. All he could think of, though, was you.
“Therefore, confess your sins to- to one another and pray for one another-” he sighs, tears gathering on his waterline as he finally grips his cock tightly. His thumb swipes across the tip, and he moves his wrist once, slowly pumping his cock from top to base, and back up again, its uncoordinated, sloppy, “that you may be healed. The p- hnn- prayer of a righteous person has great power as it- it is working.”
“I want to taste you, Jayce,” you whisper. He hips jerk, and his eyes snap to the lattice separating you both. You’re so much closer, and when he leans close to look closer, he can see your pants pushed down your thighs. The soft skin of your thighs looked so inviting, spread as far as the restricting clothing will allow, your fingers circling your pulsing clit as your other hand grips onto the edge of the seat.
“You can’t,” he whimpers, much louder than he intended. He wanted nothing more than for your mouth to taste him, replace his shaking hand and bring him to euphoria once more.
“I can,” you reply with a hiss, “the gap is wide enough, let me taste you.”
Jayce furrows his eyebrows, his focus turning to how big the gap actually was, it was small enough that at a glance you wouldn't be able to decipher what was on the other side. Yet, if you looked close enough, you’d be able to tell what was what. His hand leaves his cock, gathering his sticky pre onto the pad of his middle finger, and slowly raises it to the gap in the lattice. His chest shudders as he watches you move, meeting your lips on the other side.
His moan is loud, reverberating in the space as your wet tongue wraps around his finger. You're sucking hard, teeth grazing his skin, the breath escaping your nose warm on his already scorching skin.
Your mouth is gone just as quickly as it wrapped around his digit, your tongue swiping across your bottom lip as your hand drips deeper on your cunt, no doubt pushing them inside.
“You’re an angel,” you whisper, and Jayce’s back arches slightly. His hand retracts from the lattice, immediately running the spit coated skin across his lower lip before sucking his own finger. He could taste you, the candy you ate, the coffee you drank, and he could taste himself. A tangy saltiness that lingers in the back of his throat.
He almost sobs, drool dripping down to coat his palm. When he pulls his finger away, his hands are replaced onto his cock, now glistening with the collection of his and your spit. He doesn’t realize that he’s gasping for air, his legs shaking, the choked sound of a whimper pushing from his throat.
“Be quiet, Jayce.”
Licking his lips, he clenches his thighs shut, pushing his head back against the wood. His cock was throbbing in his grip, and when he slowly rubbed his thumb across the tip, he moaned.
“I-” he swallows, throat suddenly too dry, “I can’t, I’m sorry-”
You sigh, and he can feel his stomach clench, “grab your Bible, show it to me.”
“What?-”
“Show me your Bible, now,” you hiss, and his hand leaves his cock to grab the leather-bound book. Raising it, he refuses to look at the gold writing across the front.
“Good boy, open it up for me, any page will do.”
Dropping it from your gaze, he lets the binding fall to any page, heaving as his eyes blearily look over the page. The text was so small, mixing together in a conglomeration of sentences and prayer he could no longer read. All he could think of was you you you you-
“Rip out a page, and put it in your mouth.”
Freezing, Jayce finds it hard to breathe. Rip out a page? That’s blasphemous.
“Since you love to recite God's words so much, why don't you eat them so no one can hear what's rightfully mine?”
Jayce can’t, he simply can’t. By doing this, he would never be forgiven-
Yet, would you forgive him if he refused?
You can sense his racing mind, your voice a calm beacon in the rough waves of a storm, “Tell me another prayer, Father- One more, just for me.”
Jayce breathes deeply, calming himself, “You are my refuge and strength; no matter what happens, I trust You and will not be afraid.”
“Good boy,” you coo, “do as you're told, Jayce.”
Mind over matter, Jayce forces his unwilling hands to rip a page, bringing it slowly to his lips. The pages were thin, and when he pushed it against his tongue, his spit immediately soaked through it. The ink was slowly seeping from the paper, bitter against his tongue. He looks at you, teeth chewing down onto the paper to keep it in place.
Smirking, you tilt your head, “another.”
He rips multiple pages at once, pushing them between his teeth to meet the other.
You scoff, “such a good boy, doing what you’re told. Yet, you can’t follow your own God’s teachings.”
He can do nothing but whimper around the pages, his hand dropping the bible to the ground to grab back onto his cock, jerking his wrist to the sound of your voice.
“You would do anything I ask, wouldn’t you?” You taunt, your own hand picking up its pace. Sweat shines on your forehead, lips glistening with spit as you shift in your spot, your other hand joining the one on your cunt. Whimpering, you push your own fingers inside, the other still circling your swollen and throbbing clit.
“How far would you go for me, I wonder?” A sigh, and your eyes close. Smiling at the thoughts that race through your mind, “would you leave the priesthood for me?”
His head nods before he even realizes it, your head snapping to watch him, smile widening.
With the small semblance of clarity in his mind remaining, Jayce thinks of the forgiveness he’s been begging to receive for weeks.
It’s always been you, he realizes. You’re the one he seeks forgiveness from, you’re the one who he prays to each night. Not the God whose teachings he no longer follows. Not the God who judges him for feeling emotions only you can bring him. You would forgive him, you wouldn’t judge him for his actions. He would do anything for you, he thinks. If you asked him, he would be yours- he was yours from the moment you sat on his desk.
His pleasure washes over him in waves, no longer held back by guilt. He allows his hand to squeeze, feels the bite of pleasure in his thighs.
Your whine makes his hand jerk faster, that sweet noise the only thing that he seeks out in the night. Breathing heavily, he bites down on the pages still lodged in his mouth. Some were becoming too soggy, the ink transferring onto his tongue.
“I’m so wet, Father-” you sigh, and he can hear your fingers run through your sloppy folds. It’s pathetic, how his hips rise off the seat to chase after it. He wanted to see, wanted to taste you-
“Do you want a taste? I bet you do.” He whines, tongue pressing against paper and you laugh. It's quiet, airy as you release a breathy moan. His eyes strain to watch your mouth drop open, your fingers pressing against your tongue. Eyes watering, he clenches them shut and leans his head forwards against the lattice, the wood cool against his scorching skin.
Your fingers trail down your chin, chest heaving, and you push your hand back through your folds. Your soft skin glows in the light, blue’s and pink’s coloring you Holy as your glistening fingers come back into view. Instead of raising to your lips, they slowly close in on the small openings of the lattice. Your other fingers were still inside you, he realizes, you were halting your own pleasure just to tease him.
“Why don’t you taste what I give? Rather than your God,” you taunt, glint in your eyes. Without hesitation he lets the soggy paper drop from his mouth, drool pouring from behind. Down his chin, soaking his beard. Bits of paper remain on his lips, the bitter taste of ink left behind. He can faintly hear the paper hit the floor, a wet smack, and he runs his tongue across his lip. He didn’t want anything to dilute your taste, not even his own spit.
The tips of your fingers appear on his side, and he surges forwards to meet them. His tongue touches soft skin, lips pressed against wood. You push further into his mouth, your slick coating his taste buds. It washes away the taste of paper and ink, his body shivering as his hand grips tight onto his cock. It pulses, begging for your touch instead of his.
“I wonder what God would think, you forsaking his word for such sin.”
He whines, tongue parting your middle and ring finger to taste the slick between, feeling you press down onto his tongue, sliding as far as the lattice will allow. You almost hit the back of his throat, and he pushes harder against the wood, wanting you as deep as possible.
“Fucking-” you hiss, retracting your finger and quickly licking across the tips before pushing them back between your folds. The sloppy-slick sounds louder than before, his hand trying to catch up to your rapid pace.
There's a fire growing inside him, quick and unrelenting as his hand sloppily jerks his cock. His thighs twitch, toes curling in his shoes as his lungs beg for more air. Although he was gasping, he felt like he wasn’t getting enough air.
“Don’t you fucking cum yet,” your voice growls, and he sobs. Pressure behind his eyes, scalding tears on his cheeks, his tongue searching for your taste that lingers.
“Jayce-”
“Please- I-” he whispers, hearing the horrifying sound of heels against the floor outside of the confessional. Could they hear what was happening inside? Hear how their priest was touching himself, committing a sin he was no longer guilty about?
His hand falters, cold humiliation creeping over his shoulders.
“Ignore them, puppy-” your voice borders a whisper, “keep going- tell me another prayer.”
He looks to you, sniffling lightly as his hand resumes its previous pace. Nodding your own head, you encourage him. There was a gathering heat in his gut, embers collection to prepare a large bonfire. Your gaze threw wood onto it, flames catching quickly. His thighs felt gooey, his mind blank, but he wills himself to think of any prayer, just for you.
“To all those- those that repent of in this wise- Oh, hnn- and look to J-Jesus- Christ for their salvation. F-fuck- I declare- that the absolution of sins is effected- please, oh fuck- In the name of the F-father- and of the son, oh- hnng ‘m gonna- Wait-”
“You can finish father, come on-”
“Mm- and- i can’t- h-hold-” he begs, your voice pushing him impossibly closer.
“And of the Holy Spirit, Amen-”
Fire under his skin, and he feels his release begin. A raging fire in his gut, spreading to his thighs and chest. It tingles so intensely, and his hand clamps over his mouth, biting onto his palm to muffle his strained moan. Blinding white explodes behind his eyes, and he can faintly hear your cooing voice talking him through it. He wanted to hold your hand through this intensity, wanted your calming embrace rather than the prayer that was seared into his mind. God could no longer provide comfort, for you had burned him away to make space for your own presence.
He can hear your own whines, choked moans as you, no doubt, go through your own orgasm. You bite down on your cheek to keep yourself silent, hips canting into your hands to chase that pleasure. Jayce tries to watch, but his hands feel his thighs, and can't think of anything else but the euphoria he was feeling.
Heavy breathing is what he hears when he comes back, his hands and skin covered in his own sticky release, cock still throbbing and red, yet too sensitive to continue. His abs hurt, his arm was slowly relaxing from the cramping that occurred. Licking his lips, he brings his hand closer to his mouth, tempted to taste the opaque liquid that coats him.
Feeling your eyes on him, he looks over, you’re waiting on the other side of the lattice. With shaking hands, he raises his tired arm, slides his finger through the lattice, and feels your tongue wrap around the digit slowly. Heart in his ears, he makes circles on your tongue, feeling the muscle move and chase after the cum, a smile slowly stretching across his face.
Your hand appears, your own shining fingers pushing through the gaps in the lattice, and Jayce wills his lethargic body to move to wrap his own lips around your fingers. His cock twitches at the taste of your own cum, his tongue licking away the sweet-tart taste. Your face was so close, he could feel the breath from your nose against his cheek, your body heat seeping through in the slightest. When he pulls away for air, he opens his mouth to speak.
A voice beats him to it, though, older and questioning.
“Father?”
Ice cold fear, and he tilts his head to stare at the door ahead.

KICHEN 2Point0 :)
It’s been well over a year since the last Harlix collaboration, but we are happy to finally be able to announce the KICHEN 2Point0! It all started way back in 2019 with the original KICHEN, so we decided we wanted to bring it back full circle and finally focus back on our much-loved room of the home. A lot has changed over the past 4.5 years, not only in our own personal work but the multitude of custom content creators that also now create kitchens for your Sims. In 2019, there were slim pickings for your homes. Now, there is such a vibrant array of content to choose from, and it really is an excellent thing for all.
In the years that followed, we have really focused on improving our technical skills and artistry, which we hope you can see with this latest set. The stand-out item for us both in the original KICHEN was the wishbone chair. We have personally both tried to find another dining chair that tops it and failed miserably! It is just the perfect chair for use in so many different settings, whether it be modern or even a rustic setting; it’s just so versatile. It deserved an update to our latest techniques and colours & it’s the only item from the original KICHEN set that has been reworked for this newest iteration. Also, back in 2019 we were a little too scared to use our internal name for that item, but in 2024 we are happy to share the appropriately named WISHBONER chair with you 😆
The KICHEN 2Point0 is also designed to fit perfectly into our current Klean & Soho sets to fulfill the kitchen part. For some reason, we always seem to be in sync with our set themes, and no more so than with Klean & Soho. The overlap was very scary tbh, with many Pinterest pins selected independently but shared in common, so we decided to do this 2 part collaboration to create a kitchen to fit both of our current sets, with the hope of creating a much more in-depth set which includes all elements required to make your dream kitchen. This first part focuses on the foundations of that dream kitchen.
All items are Base Game compatible and can be found by searching the b/b catalogue using the keyword 2Point0. As the items are designed for both of our current sets, they will also appear when you search using the keywords KLEAN or SOHO.
Set Items include:
- Counter (raised with legs) - Counter (standard) - Island (raised with legs) - Island trolley (3 pieces) - Cabinets (short) - Cabinets (tall) - Appliance Cabinet - Fridge Nooks (high & low) - Built-in Sink (wide & standard) - Dining Table (1, 2 & 3 tile) - Wishboner Dining Chair - Shelving (multiple height endings, middle & standard end pieces) - Hanging Feature Pendant Lights (multiple variants)
Now on Patreon Early Access
Public release on the 7th of May
The collaboration will continue next month and focus on appliances and clutter for your kitchens.

All Over Again
Tumblr media
Pairing: Azriel x Reader
Summary: You're drunk. Your mate is trying to get you home. Only problem is—you're really, really drunk.
Word count: 1.5k
Warnings: Drinking, absolutely zero attempt to establish a pov on my part
a/n: A cute little drabble because if it all fell is making me a tiny bit sad and I love this trope <3
Main Masterlist ♡
~~
The world spun around you as you let out a delighted laugh, faerie wine pulsing in your veins. This was bliss, and—admittedly—the most fun you’d had in months. The workload you’d been dealt this last year was one for the books.
“Exactly how many drinks did you have?” Feyre asked you, red and green rays lighting up her face in time with the beat inside Rita’s.
“So many,” you yelled back, flinging your arms around her shoulders. “So many and I’m going to have more!”
The High Lady chuckled and swayed with you as you dragged her around the dancefloor.
This was good for you, your friends had decided, a girl’s night where you could let go of all your responsibilities and inhibitions and then sleep for a solid two days afterward. Feyre and Mor had agreed to stay relatively sober to watch over you, but Mor was just as intoxicated as you were at this point.
“Mor!” you screamed, the shout directed fully into Feyre’s ear. She flinched, but you just continued. “Mor, come here! We can all dance together!”
The blonde was pulled into the circle of fae, but very little “dancing” took place. You were far past the level of functional inebriation.
“We should get Azriel,” Feyre shouted over your head, trying to catch the attention of her very distracted friend.
But Mor just laughed and asked, “Who the hell is that?” as she left the pair to join a woman in a dazzling purple dress at the bar.
Feyre bit back a sigh, still feeling patient with the small amount of alcohol running through her. “We should go home, yeah?” she attempted, catching your clutch as it tumbled out of your hands.
You responded with a loud, “Woo!” and Feyre knew she needed to call in reinforcements. A quick outstretch of her mind and the request was sent.
“This is so much fun!” Your smile was infectious, Feyre replicating it unconsciously as she watched you jump around. “I love you!” you screamed at her—again, directly into her ear.
It was a few short minutes before Azriel’s presence was felt inside the overcrowded pleasure hall. Small streams of black shadows had begun to slink around your shoulders and arms with you none the wiser to their arrival. Feyre smirked when you jumped at a hand on your back.
“Hello, my love,” Azriel said, voice low as he bent over to relay the words. “Having fun?”
Your responding screech had panic flashing across the spymaster’s face, the man simply watching as you threw yourself against Feyre’s chest. He sent a tentative hand out in your direction, but you only pressed further into your friend.
“Y/n—” Azriel began.
“I’m married,” you seethed. “I have a mate,” you doubled down.
Azriel blinked.
He looked around him, checking behind his tightly coiled wings and past the broad expanse of his shoulders.
When no other fae appeared to be lurking near his mate, Azriel returned his attention to the pair in front of him, his hazel eyes meeting your piercing (but rather hazy) glare.
“Y/n, I am… well aware that you have a mate,” he replied, shaking his head to match his slow words.
You scoffed, sending Feyre a glance as if to say, “Can you believe this guy?”
“Well, then you should be well aware—” A shaky, misguided finger pointed close to where Azriel was standing “—that I am not interested in you. Got that?”
A smile paired with furrowed brows conveyed the vast array of Azriel’s current feelings. He watched as you sent him another scathing glare and turned back to your High Lady, noticing the uneven way you stood and the handful of your belongings being managed by your friend.
“She’s had a lot to drink,” Feyre emphasized. “I’ve been trying to get her to go home but she won’t budge. I thought you’d be able to persuade her. She’s been talking about you nonstop.”
You were maneuvered into a quieter hallway as Feyre recounted your adventures of the night, making sure to catalog each drink she saw you consume. Azriel fought back a grimace as he pictured you in the morning. You had the worst hangovers.
“Y/n,” Feyre began, offering you an encouraging smile as you blearily blinked at her words. “Azriel’s here. Do you want to see him? He said he’d bring you home with him.”
This time, you gasped, face betraying you as it heated with embarrassment. “You called Azriel here?”
“Mhm, and he said he’s terribly exhausted and needs you to come home for the night.”
You gaped. “He wants me to come home with him?”
Standing at your back, Azriel felt his expression pucker in confusion. Hadn’t you just chastised him for flirting with you, a married woman? A married woman who was married to him?
Feyre seemed to agree with that sentiment as she nodded and said, “Of course he does. He always wants you with him.”
Your eyes grew wide, hands reaching out to grip Feyre’s shoulders in a serious motion. “Did you tell him?” you panicked. “Fey, you promised you wouldn’t tell him. It could ruin everything.”
Azriel was suddenly catapulted back about 20 years to when you were too nervous to tell him you were in love with him and Azriel was too much of an idiot to tell you that you were his mate. But that time had passed, thankfully, long ago. The two of you were now very much in love, both mated and married shortly after the inner circle had meddled in your affairs.
Looking past his disorientation, Azriel caught your wide, pleading gaze directed at Feye.
“Y/n?” he asked, craning his neck to catch your eyes. When you slowly turned in mortification, a soft kind of adoration pulled at his chest. “Hey,” he smiled. “I’m going to take you home, alright?”
“O-Okay,” you blushed, taking his outstretched hand in your own. “To my apartment?”
“No, I thought we’d go to mine. That alright?” he asked, voice gravelly and low and echoing off the long hallway inside Rita’s.
It didn't matter that you were actually going to his house. The one the two of you shared.
Instinctually, Azriel grabbed your hand, twinning his fingers with yours and pulling you closer. You, however, so drunk that you were unsure of your current whereabouts or today's date, let out a shaky breath at the intimacy. Azriel felt your fingers tremble between his own.
“Is this okay?” he found himself asking.
You nodded jerkily, and Azriel relished in the feeling of falling in love with you all over again. It was an immensely better experience than you pushing him away and accusing him of preying on married women.
His married woman, but that was beside the point.
A few steps in silence. You shivered with the rush of cool air outside the pleasure hall. Azriel shifted his wings out, enveloping you in their warmth.
“Um,” you began, fiddling with his fingers as they rested beside yours. “It’s really nice of you to walk me home.”
His heart was going to burst. Seeing you, his mate, so shy and reserved and hopelessly enamored by him in such a public way was endlessly endearing.
“Of course. I would never let you walk home alone,” he replied evenly. And then, to spice things up, he added, “I told you I would always protect you. I meant that.”
“You said th—”
You whipped your head to the side as you spoke, losing your balance with the alcohol coursing through you. Your feet fumbled over each other and Azriel caught your hip to deter you from making a full-on beeline for the ground. After he was sure you were not going to plummet to your death, he tucked your hair back from your face.
“You are my mate,” he said, so assuredly. It was a truth ingrained within him. “I will always walk you home.”
Your eyes went wide, fingers wrapped tightly around his arms as he held you. You held eye contact with your mate, a feat in and of itself with the state of your head, and he watched as your tongue came out to wet your lips.
And then, just because he could—because you were his and because you probably wouldn’t remember this in the morning—he whispered, “I love you.”
The sharp intake of breath that followed his words was apparently too much for your alcohol-addled brain. You let out a small squeak, blinked at him several times, and then, you fainted. Directly into your mate's arms.
Azriel carried you home (the one you two shared, to clarify yet again), silently laughing to himself, feeling quite smug at the outcome that night. 20 years and he still felt the same. 20 years and he was still in disbelief that he got to walk you home.

──── The gentle melody of piano and harp paint the room in an array of romantic hues. Snow drifts through the Winter air from outside the frozen windows of the venue. Family and friends stand around and admire the beautiful scene before them. You're adorned head-to-toe in white, like an angel who had just descended from the clouds. Miguel is dressed in the finest suit he searched high and low for to ensure it was perfect for this day. However, he knows no one is paying attention to him when you look as breathtaking as you do. His rough-skinned, yet gentle-mannered hand rests on your lower back, the other interlocking your hands together. With your head resting against his shoulder, he sways your body along to the gentle hum of music pervading the air.
Your first dance.
The golden light from the chandelier above serves as a spotlight for you and Miguel. Feeling his chest begin to shake, you move your head to look him in the eye. Tears of sheer happiness were cascading down his cheeks and a weak smile is plastered on his face. You swear that if you were to look up 'devotion' in a dictionary, the way he is looking at you would take up the entire page.
Miguel briefly disentangles his constricted hold on your hand to express his current, overwhelming feelings. He points his middle and ring finger down, the rest of the digits left pointing up. "I love you," that is what he is telling you. When he had first learned you were deaf, he spent his nights studying ASL and SSL in order to communicate with you. However, that single symbol is the one he always finds himself reverting to when all other signs and words fail him. I love you, I love you, I love you. Although Miguel won't express it verbally, he will express the three words through his hands for as long as he lives.
And Miguel remembers the best day of his life just as much as the worst day.
Just one month after you had both gleefully tied the knot, the two of you had gone on a stroll through Nueva York. The moon hangs heavy in the sky and darkness settles against the faint streetlights. Miguel made the vow to always protect you and you've found it to be comforting, relaxing. After a whole lifetime of being deaf and mute, you knew that you were far more vulnerable than others. Knowing you have the Spiderman as your husband causes your concern of any potential assailants to fade away. It's evident in the way his grip on your waist tightens when passerbys walk by and the perceptible shift in his eye when someone stares at you for a little too long.
You've always known he wouldn't let anything happen to you.
The following events all happen quicker than either of you can think. Just as you're crossing the bridge that overlooks the entire city in all its glory, a sudden black hole forms, framed with iridescent hues and overwhelming force. The power of the portals sudden appearance causes the bridge to vibrate beneath your feet. Screams of terror from pedestrians falling to their death goes unbeknownst to you as Miguel holds you against him with constricted tension and hides your face in his chest. The man you have chosen to spend the rest of your life ignores his duty of being the city’s superhero. All in favor of your life.
The remnants of the platform you stood on soon crumble. The red glare of Miguel’s web shoots from his wrist, to where it wraps itself around one of the numerous pillars spread upon the bridge to ensnare you further. But it was so quick, the way you slip from his tenacious grasp. Almost as if someone had forcefully snatched you from him. Innocent civilians shout and plead for Spiderman to save them, but Miguel can't hear them over the thumping of his own heartbeat. Even if he were to hear them, it would not stop him from tearing this entire city asunder in order to get to you.
He forms his hand into the same sign he uses to say 'I love you' and another blaring-red web, the same hue as his panic, springs from him and down to wrap itself around your body. He's done this a million times for others and saved the lives of practically everyone in the city. But, this is you. Miguel is digging his claws into crumbled pieces of the wreckage and shoving them through the air as if they were merely nothing, all in favor of saving you. However, you're both picking up speed and accelerating closer and closer and closer to the unforgiving ground. He latches his talons into a protruding pipe caused by the chaos and clings tight to the web connecting you with him, watching in trepidation as you continue to fall. Attempting to pull the web towards him and bring you back into his arms, where you belong, his efforts were futile.
A loud crack! permeates and his world falls apart.
Practically faster than light, Miguel is pummeling to the ground and to where you now lay. Your chest is flat with no breath and your body is lifeless. Blood is caked on your skull and it cascades onto the pavement beneath you. He rushes to your side, a mantra of ‘no’’s invading the dead, silent air. His heart is paralyzed in his chest as reality sinks into his bones. Desperate pleads escape through loud, violent sobs, begging for you to just open your eyes, hold your hand up, and tell him 'I love you, too'. He knows you cannot hear him, he knows this. But, this does not stop him from begging you, begging God, begging the universe, begging anyone to not do this to him, to not take away the only thing that has ever mattered to him. The only thing that has ever made him happy.
He'll never forget how he had stayed there for hours, ensnaring your lifeless body in his arms as the night faded into dawn. He'll never forget when he left you through brute force and was sent back to the desolate building he could only call home when you were in it. He'll never forget how he had spent days upon days studying the sudden black hole that formed and declared to destroy whoever caused it. The person responsible had taken you from him and if every soul in the galaxy has to pay in order for him to avenge the only one he loves, then so be it.
A year had gone by and every second without you become more tortuous than the last. Things that made him once glisten with joy only make his empty heart lurch with grief. Miguel is now present in the Spider-Society, desperate to manipulate any and all sources to eradicate who had so selfishly taken you from him. He'll just have to endure the yapping teenage-spiders that push at his buttons for the time being. All for you, he reminds himself.
At times, unbeknownst to Miguel, he'll start mumbling your wedding vows under his breath in front of the other spider-people to ease his mind. He knows it by heart; he will never forget it. They may all stare in disturbed confusion, but to mention your name to a man like him would be nothing short of a death sentence. "It's a soft spot, don’t poke it" Jess informs the others.
When the day is finally over and his everlasting efforts were brought to no avail, Miguel will return to the house you had planned on spending the rest of your lives in. Together. All life has been sucked out of the property. The wedding photos scattered about the premise have been derelict with shattered glass after enraged fits. The 'Just Married!' paint still sits on his car and decays with age, but he refuses to ever scrub it off. Your wedding ring, wedding dress/suit, and flower bouquet sit in indestructible cages he operated to preserve them. He fidgets with the wedding ring he vowed to never take off as he wallows in the despair of his silent home. If only he had been quicker; if only he hadn't been so weak.
The video of you dancing in matrimonial bliss ends and the monitor shuts off faster than Miguel could even blink.
The hefty, metal doors to the headquarters open to where several spider-people enter, pantomiming dramatically about the success of their previous missions. Their sudden appearance startles him, to where he demands to know why Lyla hadn't informed him of the spiders' incoming. Jess then enlightens him on his strict rule he set to not disturb him whenever your face is on screen. He exhales with a sigh of defeat and prepares himself for the onslaught of mayhem that would soon come his way. This time, however, a new recruit has joined the group.
Full-body suit hiding any form of physical identity and a soft voice that rarely comes out, Y/H/N from Earth-555 was requested to join the team by Jessica Drew herself. And Miguel couldn't care less if he tried. He'll let another spider on the team if it means keeping the multiverse stable and fueling his progress to one day finally kill the one responsible for your demise. Still, something allures him about this new recruit. Their real name and face are left a mystery to him, but there are certain moments with this stranger where he can't but be reminded of you. That soft voice and heedful hearing prevent him from fully indulging in your memory, but there are certain tics and habits they possess that catch him off guard.
The way you tap your feet when you’re focused, the way you scratch your wrists when you’re anxious, and the way you fidget with the hem of your clothes when you’re bored. And this is what life had been like for a while. Staring at the countless monitors that display a myriad of different information until his brain rots and returning hole to bathe in his misery until the next day repeats.
Several months into Y/H/N's time here is when the doors to the headquarters slam open and several spider-people all clamor in. All were breathless and bruised from a mission that ended messily. The new hero is in the mayhem, as well, exasperated as they rest against the wall. Miguel rolls his eyes at the sudden intrusion and leaves his spot at his desk to find out what these idiots had done now. They all scramble to defend themselves and point their finger at one another, while that new recruit is still trying to catch their breath in the corner. Pathetic. They should know by now that the sake of the multiverse can't afford even a minor mistake. Seeing them left so weak after a fight causes a dry laugh to escape his throat.
Their gloved fingers then grasp hold of the hem of their mask, before forcefully yanking it from their head. And it is like a miracle had materialized right before Miguel's eyes.
His stomach drops at the sudden intrusion of emotions. Shock, elation, disbelief, infatuation. Y/H/N, Earth-555's Spiderman, is his Y/N. You stand before him as you did all those years ago. Despite the dirt and blood smothered into your exposed skin, Miguel thinks you look almost as beautiful as you did when you walked down the aisle.
All you do is clench your eyes shut and try to wait for the pain in your abdomen to ease. The clattering arguments of the others only add fuel to the flame that is your suffering. Soon, there is a sudden wave of silence that washes over. Even with the agony coursing through your body, you were still able to catch the abrupt shift in the atmosphere. You open your eyes to find the man you had feared most, Miguel O'Hara, treading towards you and towering over you with his large figure. Paralyzed with fear, you had jumped to the conclusion that you had enranged him in some way. The terror is so overwhelming, you completely miss the sheer look of love in his eyes and how his pupils had morphed into the shape of a heart.
Eventually, you gain control of your numb body and make a break for it. Pain pumps like a drug through your damaged body, but you persevere and use every sliver of strength left in you to run from him. You're running through the city, dodging past all the numerous spider-people, and webbing through different buildings to escape this maniac of a man. During this, your name and demands for your return are shouted profusely. You don't have time to acknowledge how on Earth he had found out what your actual name was.
Mistakenly, you take a quick glance over your shoulder and almost shiver with fear at the sight alone. Miguel is barrelling after you on all fours like some sort of fucking animal, with fangs and claws out and all. Broken glass protrudes into his limbs from the numerous windows and walls he barreled through. Blood seeps through the torn cuts of his suit, exposing his bruised skin. The excess of vermillion webs clutters the complex from his frivolous attempts at retrieving you. It is utterly terrifying.
Somehow in the midst of chaos, you had found yourself back in the headquarters. The 'Go-Home Machine' practically calls out for you with its luminescent hues. You hear the muffled shouts of your name and the thumping of racing footsteps. In an attempt to use your webs for faster travel, you realize that during your chase, you had entirely run out of web fuel. Shit. From here, you resort to using your legs for once and practically throw yourself into the machine. The translucent spider above uses its limbs to piece together bits of the portals' walls as if it were merely stacking legos. Hope pokes at your brain, but you don't dare let yourself think the storm had washed over just yet. A deafening crash then permeates through the headquarters.
"STOP THEM! NOW!" The echo sends a chill straight into your bones. You watch the machine sputter with increased energy and hope that with enough time, this predator on your tail will find something else for dinner.
Miguel springs into the air as if he were weightless, before landing above you on the thick facade while it buzzes from heightened energy. You have nothing but this wall to protect you from this absolute rabid dog. Sheer trepidation caresses your skin with it's ice-cold touch as he attempts to claw through the membrane of space and time protecting you.
He is bone-chillingly terrifying as he slams all the strength in his body against the barrier. It becomes increasingly difficult for him to keep his grasp on the machine as it continues to charge with intensifying energy. This does not halt his efforts, though. If anything, Miguel has now become increasingly aggressive as the prospect of you leaving him again becomes more profound. The technology whirs from every punch and thrash Miguel gives in order to get to you. Static bolts of energy protrude the air like lightning bolts when he is finally able to tear a hole through the surface, eyes wide and crazed like some sort of beast.
In an attempt to stop him, you try and piece together the chunks of radiation that had been discarded from his unwanted entry. Upon doing so, Miguel is finally able to reach through the opening and dig his talons into your wrist. Your escape was right at the edge of your fingertips, but now you have been flung straight into the jaws of this monster. You splat harshly against the ground and with the state your body was now in, you knew for certain you could not fight anymore.
However, you don't even have a mere second to think of leaving anymore. Not when this vampire-spider has you pinned to the floor with ease faster than you could produce a single thought. He begins to shush you like a baby while you fight and thrash at his chest. His large hand cups your cheek with the same softness you would use to handle a kitten, while the other utilizes his strength to restrain your body.
"I got you! I got you back with me!" The pitch in his voice had raised as he pours his heart out to you. "I never thought I would see you again, but you’re here. My Y/N, you’ve come back to me…” Red eyes are blown wide and they practically stare daggers into you. All as if you were some sort of prey.
The only thing his words do justice in is confusing you further. What you had perceived before as anger was actually... Desperation? Relief? Love? This man has never spoken a single word to you for the entirety of your several months spent in the complex. You are perplexed as you try to think of what had triggered him to suddenly act this way towards you.
"I will never let anything happen to you again... Just let me under your skin..." Miguel's lips find their way down to your ear as he whispers to you the same way a lover would. The entire moment is so deranged, it makes you shudder with horror.
His teeth then sink into the nape of your neck as if his fangs were two needles. With a yelp, you feel warm blood escape and seep down your flesh. Something new swims through your bloodstream that was induced by his bite. Your body begins to fail you and lethargy envelops you like a warm blanket. And this man is like goddamn Dracula, slurping and drinking every last drop of your delicious essence. His calloused hands savor the feel of your body against his and he indulges in how much he had missed this, missed you. With a final, feeble attempt to defend yourself against your assailant, you're soon enveloped into a deep slumber within Miguel's embrace.

do you have any favorite fic writers?
Oh boy, do I!! (I'm assuming you mean for 911, but if not, I apologize haha.) This is not an exhaustive list, but:
@wildehacked (Wildehack on ao3) - my very favorite 911 fic is the two-part fuck it if i can't have us, but I love EVERYTHING they've written. Some of the best characterization of both Buck and Eddie I've read!!
@doitbuckley (doitgently on ao3) - literally want to yell YAY every time they post a new fic. Will take you through the entire spectrum of human emotion in one fic. I can't even pick a favorite because they are all amazing, but take two falls out of three is a good place to start.
@glorious-spoon (on ao3) - has written so much, and such a diverse array of tropes and themes, and all of it is good! A recent one I love is the moon don't hang quite as high
@pairofraggedclaws (on ao3) - writes amazing smut with really, really great characterization and emotional resonance. TRUST! is a genius masterpiece.
@sonofatoasterwaffle (SymphonySoldier97 on ao3) - love the stuff that comes out of their brain!! Another one that's great at writing smut, and also gets really creative with it and goes to places other writers don't! Highly recommend the freak4freak masterpiece sweet like honey, tastes like home
@pikapitou (ktysm on ao3) - always packs so much powerful emotion into their writing!! I come away from so many of their fics with a lump in my throat in the best way. I've mentioned baby birch before. I also highly recommend where i end and you begin.
@buick118 (detectivemeer on ao3) - writes some of the most beautiful, lyrical prose ever!! She's currently on haitus but will hopefully come back to us soon. It's impossible to pick a favorite but I think cicadas in the summertime really showcases the beauty of her writing
@mooodlighting (moodlighting on ao3) - writes the most amazing, tender slice of life fics that get stuck in my head! I'm never not thinking about The Things All Come and Gone
@playinginthunderstorms (playinginthunderstorms on ao3) - all her fics are like a warm hug, soooo full of romance. And also a great smut writer, with some of the best dirty talk!! Exhibit A: chemistry 'til it blows up.
Like I said, this is not an exhaustive list. I'm a pretty slow reader, and I tend to prioritize reading things my friends and mutuals write or rec, so there's a lot out there that I'm just now getting to! Just in the past couple weeks, I've read all-time great fics from @kithmet, @melliehart, @effervescentwolf, @ghostlandtoo that affected me so much it led to me opening their entire 911 bibliographies in other tabs, so. I'm sure this list will greatly expand once I've had a chance to read more! There are sooooo so so many good writers in this fandom, it's crazy!
