Unraveling Meaning: Death in the Corona Virus Era According to Denny Ja 26
In this Pandemic era, we are all faced with major changes in everyday life. The Corona virus has changed the way we work, interact, and even think about death. In this article, we will unravel the meaning of death in the Corona virus era according to Denny Ja's view 26. Denny Ja 26, a famous figure in Indonesia known as a political expert, also has a deep thought regarding various aspects of life, including death. Denny JA 26's view of death in the Corona virus era provides a unique and different perspective. According to Denny Ja 26, death in the Corona virus era taught us the importance of respecting life. Along with the spread of this deadly virus, many people are starting to realize how valuable every moment we have. We no longer take our lives as something that is certain and eternal, but as a gift that needs to be respected. In addition, Denny JA 26 also believes that death in the Corona virus era teaches us about human limitations. The Corona virus has made us realize that even though we have achieved extraordinary technological advances, we are still vulnerable creatures. We do not always have full control over our lives and death can come to anyone, indiscriminately, status, or wealth. In this context, Denny JA 26 also stressed the importance of solidarity and social care in the middle of this pandemic. Death in the Corona virus era has reminded us that we are all in the same struggle. We need to support each other, protect, and help each other. We must empathize with those who lose those who are loved and become a source of strength for those who suffer. However, Denny Ja 26 also reminded us not to get caught up in excessive fear and anxiety. Although death is a reality that must be faced, we must also remain optimistic and try to live life wisely. We need to maintain our physical and mental health, follow the designated health protocols, and try to create a positive atmosphere around us. In Denny JA 26's view, death in the Corona virus era also taught us about the importance of self -reflection and introspection. In the midst of various pressures and uncertainty, we need to take the time to reflect and evaluate our lives. What have we achieved? What do we want to do better? Death can be a strong reminder to give a deeper meaning for our lives. In addition, Denny JA 26 also highlighted the importance of caring for our environment. The Corona virus, although it comes from animals, also shows how human interaction with nature can have serious consequences. We need to learn to live side by side with nature, maintain biodiversity, and respect the limitations that exist. In Denny JA 26's view, death in the Corona virus era not only presents a sense of sorrow and uncertainty, but also valuable lessons. We need to learn to respect life, recognize our limitations, and establish social solidarity. We must also remain optimistic, reflect on life, and care for the environment around us. Denny JA 26's view gives a deep perspective and inspires the meaning of death in the Corona virus era.

🍺It's Corona Time🚑
Of y'all thought I had self control you'd be sorely mistaken, and yes humor is my coping mechanism 😤👌🏻💖
Warning: The following Crackcanon may be distasteful to some readers. It is important to know that the crackcanons below are not meant to be taken seriously and were made to be funny while Val was under the influence of one too many Melatonin gummies. Please take the necessary precautions when it comes to exposure to any virus/infection. This message was not funded by Corona beer.
Tumblr media
Bakugou
Can't stand to watch the news anymore, do people really not know how to combat a virus?!
Aggressively asks people how they're feeling and "insists" on them staying home if they feel unwell, just ignore the padlocks on the dorm doors
The dorm always sends him out to buy food and toilet paper, who would want to fight him over a roll of butt paper?
Chances of catching the virus: 8%
Midoriya
If you ever have any questions about the virus, Izuku is your info broker
Not only is he keeping an eye on what the media says but he's also focusing on what medical professionals are saying about the outbreak
He's definitely a beacon of hope when it comes to the hysteria, always reassuring people of the ways they can protect themselves and the people they care about
Chances of catching the virus: 5%
Todoroki
He's unfazed by all of it
Can't understand the hysteria with it all but he definitely understands the concern
Tries to make efforts to make sure everyone is taking the right precautions
Overall nothing really changes with him
Chances of catching the virus: 2%
Denki
"Hold my phone, I'm going to start coughing violently so our asses can get some ultra soft"
Yep he's using this as a way to joke around, and does he regret it? Not one bit
Catch him making tik toks about the virus and calling it the "Boomer Remover"
Despite this however he's definitely stepped up his hygiene, meaning no more axe in the halls
Chances of catching the virus: 25%
Iida
"That wasn't a 30 second hand washing, Kaminari! Again!"
Yep he's the hygiene police, he even went as far as to give people physicals until Bakugou put a stop to that, nearly setting the West wing on fire
Buys toiletries straight from the factories and even passes out the excess to the locals
Tries to discredit the myths about it but eventually sounds like a paranoid broken record
Chances of catching the virus: 1%
Toshinori
He's genuinely worried, after all he is at high-risk
That is until the faculty collectively decided to place him, and only him, under quarantine, or as Toshi puts it: House Arrest
He can't exactly complain, spending days inside gave him no choice but to relax, and he can still talk to Izuku via skype
Chances of catching the virus: .001%
Aizawa
"I better catch it, I could use the sick leave"
He's the true millennial
He's secretly hoping for a quarantine inside of a nice hospital room
Uses the excuse of feeling under the weather so he can have undisturbed naps
Chances of catching the virus: 10%
Shigaraki
He's pouting in the corner like a child because this virus is getting more attention than the League, despite all news feeds collectively ceasing coverage of any criminal activity to cover the pandemic
He eventually gets over it once he realizes he has an excuse to stay inside and play video games all day
Eventually milks this virus for all it's worth
"I can't go outside Kurogiri, what if I catch it"
Chances of catching the virus: 10%
Dabi
"Hah, I hope Endeavor catches it."
He legit cannot give less fucks about this virus

Overall little shit who enjoys the memes a bit too much
Chances of catching the virus: 15%
Chisaki
His worst nightmare is coming true and he honestly can't cope
He joins the countless people flooding stores to buy out shelves of antiseptics, even going as far as to use them as mace against anyone who dare fought him for his cart full of medical supplies
Carries a yardstick for anyone who comes too close to him, yes you have to talk to him a yard away, no exceptions
Chances of catching the virus: 25%, poetic justice and all

Love in the Time of Corona ➳ S. Reid
Pairing: Spencer x Reader
Warnings: Some mentions of anxiety, Spencer is in love and forgets how to act like a person
Word count: 2,5k
Prompts: 23, ‘You love me?’
Getting locked in a hotel with your colleague hadn’t exactly been in your plans. But maybe spending quarantine with Spencer wasn’t even that bad of a thing.
Tumblr media
“Are you sure?” Chewing on the insides of your cheeks, you watched Spencer talk to Hotch on the phone. “Alright, call us if anything changes.” With a sigh, he hung up and turned to look at you. “Hotch is trying to pull some strings to get us back home, but for now we’re stuck here.” You nodded, your gaze darting around the hotel lobby. “I need to call Garcia, she needs to know where my spare key is so she can get in and feed Goblin, and shit, I probably don’t have enough food for him for two weeks at home, someone needs to-“ Spencer calmed you down with a hand on your shoulder. “Hotch said Garcia already went to your apartment and fed him, she knew where the key was from when she watered your plants last time you visited your parents. Goblin is well taken care of.” You exhaled and looked into his eyes, scanning them for any form of anxiousness. But there was only kindness in them, and you relaxed. If Spencer wasn’t freaking out, then why should you?
“Come on.” He said, a light smile on his lips. “Let’s go check out how badly assorted the hotel library is.”
Goblin was your cat back home in Quantico, a spoiled diva you loved unconditionally and worried about endlessly. You hadn’t exactly expected the state you were in to go into corona lockdown so suddenly and the whole ordeal made your whole body buzz with anxiety. Of course you wanted to protect as many people as possible from getting sick, and under normal circumstances you would have gone into quarantine without a word of complaint, but you just really wanted to go home. You normally didn’t have a problem with the middle-class hotels your employer booked for you when you were away on cases, but then again you also normally didn’t have to spend long amounts of time in them. Spencer and you had been sent ahead to go check out a possible serial killer case, and the rest of the team would have followed once you had confirmed there were lives at stake. But now, instead of investigating, all you could do was aimlessly roam the hotel’s dull hallways, wishing for a change of scenery or at least, your own four walls. The only distraction and good thing in all of this was Spencer, who was doing an amazing job at keeping you sane. Being alone with your thoughts so much wasn’t exactly the best for your mental health, and if anyone in the world could understand that it was Spencer. He knew what it was like when your own thoughts became a weapon sharp enough to destroy you.
“Look at this idiot.” You chuckled and turned your phone so Spencer could see the picture Penelope had sent you. “He knows exactly that he’s not allowed on the kitchen counter.” Spencer smiled, zooming on the picture of your cat passed out in the sink. “Looks like you raised him well.” He teased, causing you to throw your napkin at him. “Hey! I’ll have you know that I am a very devoted cat mother.” You both laughed, only to be interrupted by the maid that was on breakfast duty. She sighed and sent you both a dreamy look before pulling out her notepad. “Such a sweet couple you two are, makes me miss my younger days. Can I bring you anything else?” Instead of telling her about the second tea you had been meaning to order you just blinked at her in shock. Spencer across from you seemed just as frozen, the two of you probably looking utterly stupid to the hotel’s staff member. She just rolled her eyes and started loading your plates onto her tray. “Not there yet? Okay, I’ll leave you to it.” Once she was gone you both erupted into baffled laughter. It had been eight days in the hotel already, and you were slowly starting to make friends with the staff, but so far you hadn’t really been that close with them. Each day was a mere repetition of the one before, and you were barely clinging to the last shreds of normalcy and sanity anymore. Spencer and you met up for breakfast in the mornings, tried to work on the case for a bit just for the sake of feeling like you still had something meaningful to do, went to lunch, sought shelter in the tiny library that was mostly there for show, had dinner and then, sometimes, you went for a drink in the hotel lobby bar. The two of you were growing closer by the day. It was slowly beginning to feel like Spencer was just an extension of your own limbs instead of a whole different person. You had learned long ago that once Spencer felt comfortable around someone he latched onto them, but now it felt like your souls were truly melting together.
“There you are.” He spoke softly, sitting down across from you. You just acknowledged him with a smile, playing with the coaster of your drink. “I went ahead and ordered your favourite.” You mumbled and watched him nod. Spencer could tell something was off, feeling slightly helpless over how to help you. “You look awfully lost in thought today.” Surprised at his words you looked him in the eyes, not yet used to him being so tuned into your emotions. “I just-“ You stopped yourself to sigh heavily. “I feel like I’m slowly losing my mind. I can’t sleep properly and when I do, I have these really vivid, weird dreams, I miss my apartment and my cat… this just isn’t exactly how I expected this case to go.” Spencer nodded in understanding. “According to a research centre in France, there has been a 35% increase in dream recall, and participants of the study are reporting 15% more negative dreams than usual. Dream experts believe that the withdrawal from our usual environments and daily stimuli forces our subconscious minds to transform the invisible virus into a lot of different things in our dreams. Actually, it’s perfectly normal to be having weird dreams right now. I have them too.” You felt a warm feeling bloom in your chest. Whenever your mind got the best of you these days Spencer was there to bring you back to reality again. He was the ratio to your emotio. “Thank you.”, you mumbled shyly. He smiled. “Come on, let’s get you to bed. You need to get your mind off things.” Conveniently, your hotel rooms were right next to each other, so even after you parted ways for the night you didn’t feel too far from him. For some reason though, that specific night was the worst one for you since being quarantined in the hotel. Even after two hours of shifting you couldn’t find into the realms of sleep, despite feeling exhausted and drained from doing nothing all day. You finally decided to get up and make yourself a cup of tea, loudly stumbling over one of your shoes on the way to the electric kettle. You groaned when your behind met with the floor, not even the carpet properly cushioning your fall. Great. You had quite literally arrived at the bottom of things. A knock at the door ripped you out of your thoughts and, limping slightly, you made your way to your room’s entrance. When you opened the door your face was met with none other’s than Spencer’s, a worried look on his face. “Are you okay? I’ve been hearing you shift around for ages and then I heard a loud thump.” You smiled sheepishly. “I’m good. I just couldn’t sleep again and tripped on my way to make myself some tea.” He looked at you, something like worry in his eyes. And then, suddenly, he hugged you tightly. “Spence, what are you doing?” You asked with wide eyes, face smushed against his chest. “Did you know that hugging releases oxytocin? It’s a powerful hormone that works as an antidote for depressive feelings and anxiety. It also underlies individual and social trust. Hugs even affect our physical well being, for example by lowering our blood pressure. Scientifically-“ “Spencer, I love you, but for the love of god please shut up now.” You murmured, long having closed your eyes and leaned into his warm embrace. It was only then you realised what exactly you had just said. You felt him tense up. “You…” His hand on your back suddenly felt like it was going to burn through your skin. “You love me?” You leaned slightly away from him to look him in the face, surprised about your own words. “I think I do.” You spoke in wonder. Apparently, your subconscious had already known about your feelings for Spencer for way longer than your conscious self. But instead of answering, Spencer stepped away from you, a frazzled look on his face. “I… excuse me.” Helplessly, you watched him disappear back into his room, fear speeding up your heartbeat. What had just happened? Had the lockdown madness finally gotten to you? With trembling fingers, you closed your door behind you. That night you didn’t catch a minute of sleep.
The whole next day you couldn’t find Spencer anywhere. It seemed like he was actively hiding from you, and it made your chest hurt from rejection. He was smart and most of all he was your friend, you had really expected him to at least talk it out with you. But no, rather than that it seemed like he had never stepped foot into that damned hotel. It wasn’t until the late evening hours, when you had already gotten ready for bed, that you saw him again. He had knocked on your door, standing in front of you with an apologetic look on his face and three flowers clutched in one hand. They seemed oddly familiar to you, and at second glance you realised that he had stolen them from the hotel lobby. Before you could even begin to ask, he sent you a pleading look “Please, please don’t say anything right now. I want you to know exactly how I feel, and I practised it in the mirror but quite frankly I have never been this nervous in my life and I might forget something if you start speaking.” His voice was shaky, he was stumbling over his words like you had never seen him do before. “I’m sorry. For running off yesterday. I’ve been trying to figure out a way to tell you this for the longest time and then you just said it so casually and for a moment all my fuses burnt through. I’m so in love with you and I am so terrified because I’ve never felt like this, and I know that once I tell you this it will be real, and my life will change forever. I didn’t think there was a person out there like you, a person for me. There is no scientific proof for soulmates but you just… fit with me. I love you too, (Y/N). I love you.” His words had rendered you speechless. You felt tears run down your cheeks, and it was only when you felt Spencer’s hand wipe them away that you returned to reality. You placed your hand on his, further leaning into his touch, and sobbed. “I didn’t mean to make you cry, I’m sorry. This isn’t really my strong suit.” You laughed and pressed a kiss to his hand. “It’s not mine either. And don’t worry Spence, you were perfect. Thank you for having the courage to tell me. Just please, never run off on me like that again.” He leaned his forehead against yours and closed his eyes, a serene smile on his lips. “I promise.”
From there on, the rest of quarantine passed by incredibly quick. Now, you were actually glad you were locked in with Spencer. It gave the two of you the perfect time and opportunity to explore the very nature of your relationship. You started sleeping over in each other’s rooms, wearing each other’s clothes, at night Spencer lulled you to sleep by reading to you. When Hotch called once the two weeks were over to tell you that you would be able to return home with the jet you were almost disappointed. But at least this you could board the jet holding each other’s hands without worrying about anyone seeing. And it wasn’t too bad either that you had had your first time with each other and joined the mile-high club at the same time. You were never going to be able to look at those leather couches the same way again. Touched down back home in Quantico you had the orders to return straight home and quarantine for another fourteen days. Stood in front of your car you could tell that the two of you were trying to prolong your time together, rambling on about the most random things just to avoid having to say goodbye for two weeks. But watching him walk away after one last, long kiss filled your heart with such aching that you called out for him to stop. “Wait, Spence!” He turned around, an almost relieved look on his face. “Yeah?” He walked back to you, gripping the strap of his bag. “I know this is crazy, and maybe it’s too much considering we haven’t even officially talked about whether or not we’re dating now but… I just… hate the thought of suddenly not seeing you for two weeks straight after seeing your cute face every day for what feels like so long. So… do you want to quarantine at my apartment? We can get some of your clothes on the way there, and I promise I’ll cook whatever you want. I just don’t want to miss your morning cuddles anymore.” A wide smile had spread across his features while you had talked, and before you had even fully finished he had already nodded enthusiastically. “Thank god you asked, I didn’t know how to.” Both laughing, you got into your car.
“Oh, you gotta be kidding me.” Morgan groaned when he saw you and Spencer enter the BAU together once quarantine was over. You didn’t even have to hold hands for everyone to see that you were a couple now. “When did they start dating??” Emily looked at you with a grin, crossing her arms. “Technically, it doesn’t look like they started dating. They were just locked in together for so long that they fell in love.” Hotch joined your little group, the usual frown on his face. “Enough about the lovebirds, we have a case to get to. But-“ He turned to look at you and suddenly there was a teasing grin on his face as well. “Looks like quarantine treated you well, right?” You just rolled your eyes, burying your face in your hands. “Not you too, Hotch, not you too!”
Spencer actually didn’t even end up leaving your apartment once quarantine was over. In fact, he had gotten so comfortable that after two months, he terminated the contract for his own flat. Now, every Sunday morning, it wasn’t just you spread out on your couch with your cat anymore. It was the two of you.

Prologue
Austin, TX
Mid July
“Babe,” Jensen softly says in a low voice to the person seated next to him in the waiting room, “Babe,” he says a bit louder, still getting no response. Leaning close, he blows into their ear.
Jared starts, his “what” muffled by the finger he’s been chewing on.
“You know you can’t do that, don’t want you getting sick.” Taking his hand Jensen pulls it away from his pretty pink lips, gently caressing the finger. Jared had finally stopped chewing on his hands when Covid-19 became widespread.
“Where’s your gum?” Jared bite his lip not answering.
Sighing, Jensen shifts retrieving his pack and hands a piece to him. “What’s got you masticating again?” He inquires as Jared pops the stick in his mouth.
Jared chews the gum nervously weighing how to answer the question knowing Jensen won’t accept anything less than the whole truth. “What if something goes wrong again because of me.”
Jensen’s brow furrowed. He learned years ago that while their relationship is one of equals, he had to be lead Alpha when Jared’s mental state overwhelmed him as it had the last few weeks.
***
After the public announcement in March 2019 that season fifteen would be Supernaturals last, they had agreed when finished with the pickups they would take an extended break, return to Austin and concentrate on their marriage.
Jared intended to stop acting indefinitely, pursuing other interests and Jensen wanted to concentrate on his music.
Of course, things didn’t quite end up how they planned.
Jared entered negotiations to star in the Walker, Texas Ranger reboot, along with being an executive producer. Jensen got a call from Kripke wanting him for the role of Soldier Boy in The Boys third season.
But by March of 2020, everything came to a halt thanks to the Corona-virus.
The shutdowns left Supernaturals final two episodes with no definitive filming date and their seemingly never ending last season put their other projects on hold.
For the first time in years they had the luxury of a leisurely schedule, not having to be somewhere on a timetable, they could communicate with friends and family uninterrupted, deal with their other businesses, charities, etc, leaving most days free to enjoy being together without constraint.
But even amazing, awesome, vigorous sex on every horizontal/vertical surface that could support the two big Alphas only filled so many hours and like many couples, they started getting each others nerves and looked for other ways to stay occupied.
By late May, Jared was unable to sleep or eat, even going out of the house became a chore. When he hit a consecutive fourth day in bed, Jensen bodily dragged him into the bath for a desperately needed shower and loaded him in his truck driving to his doctor's.
Upon checking in they were told patients only allowed in the facility. Jared started panicking, saying he was having chest pains and couldn’t breath. He was rushed in with Jensen hot on their heels after morphing into an overprotective Alpha mate no one was stopping.
Jared’s doctor deduced with the lock-downs prohibiting him from his routine checkups and periodic adjustments needed to his medications triggered this episode.
The first step was to wean him off his current prescriptions and change to a newly approved, alternative regime. He was checked in a facility for ten days under observation while detoxing off his meds.
His therapist switched his twice weekly tele-counseling sessions to daily for the foreseeable future and Kodas certification as an emotional support animal was approved. His progress was slow but he was returning back to his sweet natured, big hearted, exceptionally tactical, overgrown puppy self.
When the surprise call from the clinic came a few days ago about an appointment opening, Jensen initially didn’t want it, still in his overly excessive protective Alpha mode. Jared’s outburst made him relent, fearing they were on a collision course for a major setback if he didn’t.
And Jensen, being Jensen, went overboard to ensure the appointment was absolutely private.

Part I
Jared was about to speak when a woman in scrubs called out, “Mr. Bonham and Mr. Page.” they got up crossing over to her, “Hello, I’m Sissy, Dr. Rodgers nurse, please follow me.”
They pass through the doorway leading through a maze of halls like that of any other medical clinic except this one specialized in a very specific service.
The nurse opens a door near the back of the clinic gesturing for them to enter the spacious office, “Please have a seat, the doctor will be with you shortly.” She closed the door and they sat down in the pair of chairs directly in front of the large, dark mahogany desk.
Jensen, scenting Jared’s nervousness, lifts his right hand kissing his palm, making him chuckle at the tickle of Jen’s soft beard before twining their fingers together and setting them on his left thigh, smiling reassuringly.
There was a brief knock before the door opened and an older, silver haired Beta entered. “Hello, I’m Dr. Rodgers, how are we doing today?” He asks, moving to his chair behind the desk.
Jared gave him a tight smile and Jensen remained placid.
The doctor raises an eyebrow, “Relax Mr. Page, this is just a visit to go over the paperwork before deciding about how we proceed, not the Spanish Inquisition.” Jared releases his held breath but couldn’t completely calm himself.
“I know the process can be overwhelming but I must ask, is there something we’ve done to make you uncomfortable?” Dr. Rodgers inquires.
“No, everyone’s been really nice, very professional. It’s just we..we had issues the first time we attempted to do this.” Jared finished his sentence quietly, in the recess of his mind; something bad is gonna happen and it’ll be my fault.
Jensen squeezes his hand tighter, instinctively sensing Jared’s mind was trying to spiral again, “When tried this before someone leaked our plans to the media. It wasn't ever proven the clinic was involved but...”
“We do everything possible to keep our clients anonymity protected here. All of our staff have been thoroughly vetted and sign NDA, given your professions, you're familiar with how they work. Your real identities will remain completely confidential, even if you choose to not proceed. It is why you chose this particular clinic, yes?”
“Yes, it is.” Jensen replied.
“How about we get this bit of paperwork out of the way, then we can have a more relaxed visit. I’ve gone over the applications you both submitted and have noted a few discrepancies in the medical section that need clarification before we proceed,” He opens the top file, “Mr. Bonham, why did you omit Genu Varum from your medical history?”
Jensen kept his expression neutral as he felt his stomach automatically clench. He had been mercilessly teased throughout his childhood about his bowed legs by his older brother Josh and later his buddies from school when they’d come over to hang out. By the time he was in high school Jensen’s extraordinary looks and personality were what got people’s attention first. Nowadays, many a fanfic waxed poetic about those bowed legs.
“The questionnaire inquired about inherited genetic medical conditions and since mine isn’t, I didn’t think it was necessarily applicable.” Jared hears an edge creeping into Jensen’s voice and gives their tangled fingers a quick squeeze.
“Did you see an orthopedist and were they able to determine what caused the condition? Did they suggest any surgical procedures or therapies to straighten your legs?”
“I was born a preemie, the orthopedists my parents consulted decided my condition was attributable to that.” Jensen replies tersely, dropping his vocal range. Jared gripped his hand harder, telling him to cool the attitude. “The doctor didn’t recommend surgery but sent me to physical therapy, thought it would help them straighten as I grew.”
“So no others in your immediate family have this issue?”
“Everyone my family has straight legs, including my three children.”
Jared piped in, “He hates it but he does have an exercise regimen; stretching, strength training. Oh, he also takes several different vitamins, omega oils, turmeric and extra vitamin D to support his joints.” They watched the doctor scribble a few more notes in the file before closing it.
“Mr. Page,” Jared sits up straighter in his chair, “I appreciate that you went into detail about your mental health status. I see you’ve recently been hospitalized, your medications have been changed to an alternative regiment and you’ve also increased your therapy sessions?”
Jared’s interview continued for another twenty minutes as Dr. Rodgers questioned him in depth about his depression and anxiety, feeling said anxiety ratcheting up so he focused on Jensen’s thumb rhythmically moving over his hand and used every ounce of his acting skills to appear confident and in control.
Dr. Rodgers closed his file, “I only have a few general questions left then we can discuss how you wish to proceed.”
After a more relaxed, genial conversation with the doctor, Sissy took them to a couple private rooms with paraphernalia to help stimulate them into producing a couple semen samples.
Jensen was getting close to finishing with his favorite spank-bank fantasy when he felt Jared’s frustration across their bond.
~~~
Jared couldn’t get aroused.
He felt as useless as his flaccid cock.
His doctor warned him that loss of sex drive could be a possible side effect of his new regiment until his body adjusted to it. He had struggled with temporary impotence a few times on his old meds, always fearful Jensen would finally see him as undesirable, no longer a satisfactory mate.
Rationally, he knew it was his illness causing these exceptionally hard to deal thoughts recently and the nagging idea this wasn’t the right thing for them to attempt again continually kept creeping in.
Jensen’s unspoken reluctance about having more children at his age was also weighing on his conscience, warring against his own biological longings.
They had a humongous argument when he told Jensen about taking the appointment. Jen thought this was the wrong time to attempt it again, pointing out he was just getting his equilibrium back setting Jared went off on a rant about how he no longer wanted him and would leave him like Genevieve had because he was too broken to deal with anymore.
Unmitigated anguish was written across Jensen’s beautiful features, the very notion that Jared could conceivably believe that he’d ever abandon him made his soul hurt in such a way no verbal language on earth could ever express his devastated feelings traveling across their bond.
***
Everything they’d been through; from that bar fight solidifying their friendship, Jared’s first breakdown, the years of living as roommates while secretly a couple to finding wives who understood their unique relationship and still married them both in 2010.
The joyous arrival of JJ three years later that unfortunately exacerbated Genevieve's frustration of not being able to conceive coming out with a vengeance at Jared. His unexpected breakdown in Switzerland was the final nail in their marriage. Gen was there for him but in the end it was all too much and she filed for divorce.
Shortly after, Jared’s iCloud account was hacked. It was believed, but never conclusively proven, that Gen was behind it since her lawyer was trying to break their prenuptial agreement, the videos documenting his private and explicit sexual relationship with Jensen were legally considered adulterous. In the end, the court upheld the legal document but the ramifications...
They were summoned to L.A. for the meeting from hell with WB executives, both convinced it was the end of Supernatural and their careers.
After the reaming out, they each received a weeks pay suspension to cover some of what it was gonna cost PR in time and money to deal with the inevitable repercussions and placate the show's sponsors.
How would the show’s fans react? Would they still be able to accept them as brothers only on TV while in real life they were involved in a highly stigmatized relationship?
When they returned to work there was an atmosphere of tension that hadn’t existed before. It was an open secret that all shows had their share of bitchiness and backstabbing behind the scenes. Jensen may have the thicker skin, keeping tighter control on his emotions, but Jared knew it hurt him just as deeply the loss of some of their friends because of prejudicial, social beliefs that two Alpha males shouldn’t be involved.
Jensen’s parents showed up unexpectedly in Vancouver a few weeks later. What started out as a not quite comfortable visit quickly deteriorated with his religiously conservative parents. They had not raised him like this and blamed Jared, saying he had corrupted him, leading him into a sinful lifestyle. He needed to repent and return to his wife to whom he had made a commitment before god.
Jensen blew up, replying it was none of their business, it was between them and oh, yeah, Danneel knew about them before marrying him and they better not say anything to her. Without another word his parents left. When he later called them to make amends, his mother coolly stated that he was no longer part of their family and to never contact them again.
Three months after the twins were born in 2016 came the finalization of Jensen’s divorce from Danneel, painful but congenial. They easily agreed on joint custody and still spent most holidays together. Jensen gave Dani financial security in their settlement, he wanted to make sure she didn’t have to worry about working again unless she wanted to.
All these years later, Jared continually has nagging thoughts that they had let everybody down. They received support when they publicly came out as bisexual then lost some of it when they married, being mocked for not coming out as gay.
***
There was another knock at the door and Jared ignored it, it was that nurse checking on his lack of progress again. The knock turned into pounding, “Jared, open this door now dammit!” He flinched realizing Jensen knew what was going on with him. Releasing the privacy latch and opening the door a crack he saw concerned green eyes only.
“Sorry, I thought you were that nurse,” he stepped away and sat back down as Jensen came in and re-latching it behind him. “She came to get me when you stopped answering,” Jensen said, walking over to him and started running his thick fingers through his husband’s long hair, “what’s going on babe?”
He glances up knowing that Jensen already knew, “It’s okay Jay, take as long as you need.” He paused at the unpleasant scent wafting around him. “If you’d be more comfortable we could do this at home…” Jared shakes his head, “There’s the risk of damage, contamination and or not able to get it back in time that could make the semen unusable.” Jared quotes from a website.
Jensen softly chuckled, “Nerd.”
Jared notices the bulge in his jeans, “You didn’t...”
“Drain the snake..choke the chicken..spank the monkey.”
“Fuck, okay, you didn’t! Stop using old man slang.” He shook his head smiling  at Jensen intentionally goading him.
Jared reached up for the hand playing in his hair, grasping it to draw Jensen down next to him.
“Jack, I don’t want to wait any longer on doing this. I love JJ and the twins, you know I do, but they'll always be yours and Danneels. I know the timing could be better... but I'm almost thirty-eight and I want my..our own pups running around the house driving us crazy.”
“For the next eighteen years?”
“Minimum.”
My Masterlist for your requests!
My official Masterlist!
『Disclaimer: This fanfiction should not trivialize or romanticize the actual situation! This pandemic itself is worse enough. The reasons why I wrote a fanfic about this very difficult and sensitive topic can be found in my Authors Note down below.』
Tumblr media
Author's Note:
(Be prepared, it's gonna be a long authors note but it's important! So please read it.)
I hope you all (and your friends and family!) are okay and that you didn't get infected with the corona-virus... or at least getting through your infection in the best way possible!
Like the majoritiy of the world population, I got house detention from our government as well (Okay, I'm already two weeks at home because of school closing).
I know, some other writers already used this special situation to write some stuff for us, so we're not going completely crazy by our boredom.
And yes, I wrote something about this too, this here is my own version of all these coronavirus-quarantaine-caused writings out there ^^°.
I hope, y'all not already sick of it... I know, the "Corona-Topic" is literally everywhere and at some point, you just can't listen to anything, that is related to that theme anymore! (Even when it's really important!)
But like all writers here, I just try to "make the best out of this horrible pandemic" and help you, to get through your quarantaine in the best way.
And when you (or someone of your friends, your family or your relatives) are not in quarantaine and you/they have to go to work, because they're a doctor, a nurse, a pharmacist, a scientist, a police officer, part of the military, an employee of a supermarket/drugstore, a factory worker, a truck driver, a farmer etc, you deserve my biggest respect, really! (And to be honest from the whole world population!)
They try to fight the virus itself or their Job count to the sensitive infrastructure of your country, that's why they all try their best to keep the health care system/the minimum of infrastructure in their country going! All these peoples are amazing and they should know that!
I know, especially in this crisis just a little "thank you" can't help them. All of them need to get paid a lot better for their job and they need suitable protective clothing, masks, sanitizer and so much more. In particular these peoples that have to work directly with infected patients like doctors, paramedics or nurses.
They need these utensils to take care of infected patients properly (especially in risk groups!) and to protect themselfs as well! That's why I appeal to you, to donate medical face-masks or sanitizer that you or your family bought in an inordinate amount in of panic buying to your local hospital.
There is nothing wrong with having one or two face masks or a bottle sanitizer at home. But you don't need 10 bottles sanitizer or 50 face masks, when you simply stay at home!
Trust me, they'll need it so much more than you. We can't fight the virus when the medical staff themself get infected. All these peoples out there risk their own health, maybe even life for us! In some countries or regions they're already completely overworked and near to a (systematic and mental) break down.
When we could help them with literally doing nothing and staying at home, then please, please, please do it!
I'm not a doctor or a nurse, but I think when everybody follow their government's rules (or in general, the instructions of the WHO) and help the health care system of their country with simply staying at home, we're able to get through this pandemic somehow.
「So in short: This following story should only be a gentle reminder to stay at your fucking home and to follow your government's rules to prevent that the virus spread even more! Okay? Thank you.」
So, now you're allowed to read. Enjoy~💚
You sigh and play around restlessly with the cable of the charger of your laptop, which is plugged into it and is just in front of you on the bed tray. Even when Jin and you text each other almost every free minute, you get nervous every time he takes a little longer to answer your video call.
The past few weeks have made you an emotional wreck, especially when suddenly the infections in South Korea are skyrocketed. You contacted Jin immediately and asked him, if he, the members, his family and friends were doing well.
And overall, how the situation in Korea is and with which Strategy his government is now going to deal with it.
In the following weeks the virus continued to spread. Every day new states reported their first cases, infections increased in many countries, more and more nations prescribed school closings and national quarantine for almost all citizens. With each new day, the international infrastructure and thus also the economy gradually came to a standstill. Sometimes it feels like the earth has stopped spinning around the sun.
The whole further development of the epidemic, now pandemic, is still absolutely uncertain. Too little is the knowledge about this new virus and his behaviors. No one knows when an effective vaccine will exist.
So there is nothing else you can do but hope for the best and follow the rules of your own government and the instructions of the WHO. That means self-isolation and quarantine at home indefinitely.
That was nothing you had planned... actually you wanted to be in Seoul since three days and at that very moment you would lying tightly wrapped up with Jin in his bed.
Your visit in Seoul had been planned for months, everything was already perfectly organized and arranged, Jin even got a few days off! And now? Now you both are sitting far away from each other in your bedroom and only have the opportunity to do video calls with each other. Again.
Although your vacation were already planned and your Boss agreed, it hasn't been so clear in the past few weeks anymore if you can still take your vacation days due to this current situation.
The economic situation has become increasingly difficult, especially for the international trading company you work for. In the End, the government destroyed your plans anyway by stopping air travel and the legal prohibition of entry and exit of the country.
Of course, you were incredibly angry and frustrated at first, but in retrospect you realized that it was a good decision to do that. At least to slow down the spreading.
If you had flown to Seoul, you might have been infected. Perhaps the virus can only cause you little or even no problems, but you could've negligently infected risk groups.
And, to be honest, if you would have flown to Seoul, that would be just because of pure selfishness. And you don't want to be responsible for for spreading the virus even more.
That was in general the reason, why you decided to basically stay at home for now on. You only go out for grocery shopping once a week. At least, you try  your best not to get infected and therefore not to infect anyone else. And at the same time not to die of boredom.
Although Jin currently has more time than usual, he still has to work and to practice with the other members. When they have finished their daily routine, Namjoon and Yoongi mostly continue their "quarantine" in their studios and Hoseok and Jimin stay in the dance studio a little longer. Here and there Tae and Kookie keep them company and practice their choreography a little bit more with them, before they come back to the dorm and play video games or do other things.
As usual, Jin takes over the cooking and takes the opportunity to talk to you on the phone as much as possible or to facetime with you. Of course, it's nice that you can still spend so much time together with the help of the modern technology. But it cannot replace a real visit.
They've not met each other for a too long time, for too long it has not been possible for you two to kiss, cuddle or exchange carresses with one another... For too long, you both had no sex. And that with two people who have, let's say, a very healthy sex drive. It's awful.
You had tried a few times to get sexually active with Jin in front of the screen. But it seems like it's not his thing at all. Talking a bit here and there via text message about your dirty fantasies is okay for him. And when your Jinnie is really horny, you can also encourage him with some messages to send you a dick pics or a few voice mails where he's masturbating and moan your name in such a sinful way. When you have brought him to this point, you praise him a lot and assure him, how sexy he is ans how hot it is that he sends you such pictures.
Pictures yes, videos no.
When you ask him then, if he would be comfortable with making phone calls or even video chats of this kind of "talk", Jin will backtrack.
He can't really explain it, but he doesn't feel comfortable with presenting himself completely naked in front of the camera and even doing filthy things at the same time.
But you understand what he's trying to tell you. Jin loves it intense and passionately, with an extensive foreplay and good aftercare, but "really freaky stuff" is not his world. Doing sexual things with his partner is very personal to Jin, and he's also an idol, it would be a catastrophe when a video or picture of this kind would get public.
Therefore you fully accept his limits! After all, there is nothing to complain about, sex with Jin is always wonderful and absolutely satisfying!
Only when you are separated from each other again, you hardly know how to deal with your sexual desire. Well, would you have thought that Jin has completely the same problems and your sweetheart is just a little shy, to make naugthy things in front of the camera?...
You gasp in relief when Jin finally accepts the call and greets you with an apology, that it tooks so long. The environment tells you that he is in his room. You assume that he's sitting on his bed and leaning against the wall, the laptop on his lap.
You smile at him affectionately, reassure him that he doesn't have to apologize just because his boyfriend unwillingly becomes a bit overprotective and worries too much. You know that all this is not good, but you just can't switch off worrying about your darling.
Jin smiles a little shyly at you, his cheeks are slightly reddened. You want to ask if he's really okay, but you bite yourself on the tongue quickly. The virus had been the subject of your conversation far too often. Jin can take care of himself, if there is any suspicion that he may have been infected, he will tell you. At least, Jin and BigHit Entertainment will know how to handle it.
"No, no Y/N. Don't worry, I'm just like you... You should hear how the boys talking about me. They say, that I'm overthinking way too much... But you are fine, right? And how are your Parents in your hometown, are there already the first infections?", Jin asks and looks at you with an insistent look, eyebrows knitted in concern.
This here became to a ritual, for now on you talk always the first five minutes about the current situation. No matter whether using text messages, voices mails, phone calls or videocalls. Every day you ask each other whether the infections in your both country has improved or deteriorated, how each other's friends and family are doing, and what measures South Korea and now your country are taking.
After that, your conversation mostly wanders to other topics. It's good to come up with other thoughts as well, so nobody is going completely crazy. As many politicians, doctors and virologists already said, we have no choice but to keep calm and not to panic before we start acting thoughtlessly.
You're just about to start complaining a little bit about all the work you have to do in your home-office when Jin anticipates you.
"Y-Y/N?"
You look back at the screen and see how the initial slight blush on Jin's face has intensified and spread to his ears. In addition, you've noticed a few minutes before that Jin has become a bit restless and keeps moving back and forth. As if his sitting position is uncomfortable.
"Yes? Darling, is something wrong? You seems to be so restless and that something is uncomfortable for you ...", you answer him and look at him questioningly with a concerned frown between your eyebrows. The blush on his cheeks increases a shade darker and now it has completely taken over his ears. God, if you're honest, it's so cute when he's shy and his ears turns red.
"Would you like to know why it took me so long to answer your call... there is... there is a reason for that," Jin says quietly.
In precaution, he looks at his room door again to make sure that it's really locked. Even when everyone else is not in the dorm right now, you'll never know who would opens the door of his room without expecting anything... indecent.
He takes a deep breath before he puts the laptop down on his bed, positions the screen with the camera at the right angle. You can see how Jin's prominent adam's apple starts bobbing nervously. This sight makes you involuntarily biting your lower lip and a warm shiver trickles down your back.
Fuck, Jin's throat has always been one of your soft spots. This sight is tempting ypu to spread countless hickeys on his soft skin, want to mark him as your boyfriend. Because he's an idol, you always have to hold back with your little kink, because a dark love mark can't even cover up the best make-up really well.
But sometimes you just can't hold back or you just forgot that you should do it. Like when Jin's moaning and whimpering is so damn sexy, it makes you addicted to wanting to hear it again and again. Besides that, responds so wonderfully to your touch...
You going to be ripped out of your lewd thoughts when Jin turns with his back to you and his precious butt is now on the same level with your eyes. A completely confused expression manifests on your face. What the-
"I-I have a little surprise for you... I hope you like it...", says Jin in a trembling voice and hooks his two thumbs into the waistband of his sweatpants.
Your next breath gets stuck in your throat as your boyfriend pulls his sweats and boxer briefs at the same time down.
Fuck.
Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.
Your lips open, you want to say something, but no sound comes out of your mouth. You're absolutely speechless. Your sweet, innocent Jin...
Between his perfectly round buttcheeks is a metal buttplug, gemmed with a beautiful turquoise-blue jewel. You had never used toys in your sex life before. Jin is more of a fan of getting fingered extensively from you until he's prepared and relaxed enough to take you slowly all way in.
And now, this beautiful buttplug is enclosed in the most erotic and sinful way by your sweet, rosy musclering.
Fuck, if you only could be with Jin right now, to be able to admire this plug with a closer look, to pull it out of Jin and tease his hole a little bit with the tip of the plug.
You're so fascinated and immersed in admiration that you don't notice how Jin is getting nervous and insecure. You still haven't said anything, even though a minute has passed.
"Y-Y/N?", Jin asks in an unsettled voice. He's already about to turn around and pull his pants up again, when life comes back into your body and you answer him hastily.
"No, no, no! Please stay in this position! Fuck, baby... I don't know what to say... You are so damn sexy!", you're stuttering, you just can't take your eyes from his plug.
"But please explain to me... why... why are you doing things like that? And where did you get the plug? I-I mean, fuck, that's so damn sexy, I'm the happiest man in the world and I wish, I'd with you right in this moment and could tease you a little bit with this cute little plug... but why? I thought such things in front of the camera makes you uncomfortable? Please don't do such things only for me! Just because I'm so fucking horny today again! Please don't do it because you-", but then Jin interrupts your babbling.
When you got out of the shower this morning and looked at yourself in the mirror, you couldn't help it but send Jin a picture of you shirtless, hoping to get him involved in a bit of spicy and horny texting. You've the feeling that this quarantine and the canceled visit makes you horny 24/7. You don't want to admit it, but fuck. You need Jin so much.
"I wanted to try this for a long time... for months it kept coming back to my mind. I was frustrated by myself when you tried to encourage me to do something sexual in videos or directly live in front of you but always pull back again. Because... because... I don't know it clearly. I wanted to do something with you, I-I had countless fantasies about it in my mind... I wanted to be sexy for you, to make you moan and curse with my s-sight... b-but I think, I was just too shy every time. I felt so awkward and ridiculous doing things like that in front of the laptop. Such things that the two of us usually only do together on our own. I was embarrassed by myself... ", Jin mumbled and is glad, that at this moment you only see his butt and not his crimson red face.
Your eyes grew round like bowling balls, filled with disbelief.
"W-What? So that means... you wanted to do these things all day, but you were just too shy? Because you thought you would be awkward and weird?"
"Y-Yes. I want to do... naugthy stuff with you while videocalling... Fuck, Y/N, I miss you so much! I miss your kisses, your hugs, your soft carresses, your tender kisses on my body. Our foreplay, when you gently prepare me and finger me open for you... I-I miss our sex so much and just mastubation with my hand isn't satisfying anymore! I want you... I need you so bad... ", says Jin. Starts whimpering at the last of his sentences.
With these words, a deep growl comes from your throat and some curses leaves your lips, your pants has become so damn tight at the center.
"Fuck, baby, I know. I know how you feel, I feel the same way! I want you so bad, I was looking forward to seeing you again. Fuck, this damn pandemic."
You push the bed tray with the laptop a little away, impatiently you unbuckle your belt and opens your pants. Your cock needs a little more freedom in this moment.
When Jin hears your words and the rustling of fabric, realize how worked up you already are, he immediately feels a little bit more confident. He moves a little closer to the laptop and offers you an even better view. He bites his lower lip in anticipation of what finally seems to follow after such a long time.
"Jin... would you be okay with it to pull your butt cheeks apart so that I can see the plug... a little bit better?", you ask in a husky growl, teasing your hard erection through the thin fabric of your boxers.
By this question, a soft whimpering comes over Jin's lips, with trembling hands he reachs back and placing each one on a butt cheek, pulling them slowly apart to give you the sight you desire for.
"Fuck, Jin Baby, that's so sexy. You're so, so damn sexy! Do you even know how all of this here is turning me on? God, you're killing me!", you groan and rubbing instantly harder over you clothed, rock hard dick.
A little smirk appeared on Jin's lips. When he's already killing you right know, how should you survive these other things that Jin planned for tonight...
"Honey, would you like it when I pull that plug out of me and gonna finger myself... w-while you can watch me?", Jin asks you sweetly with a slightly shaking voice. The thought alone let Jin's own erection twitch.
Oh fuck, Jin is going to be your death someday.
"Please, Baby... I would be so thankful when you allow me such a view. Letting me watch how you please yourself...", you answer in a breathy, hoarse voice and let your head fall back against the wall.
Closing your eyes for a moment, try to prepare yourself mentally for what coming next. This Show, Jin will give you, will be surely unbelievable sexy... but also an absolute torture for you.
You're usual the one with a leading hand in your relationship when it comes to bedroom stuff. But you have to admit, that you're not the most assertiv Top... and Jin knows way too well, where to find and to press your soft spots.
Sometimes it comes to the point that Jinnie is wrecking you more than you him! You think, that your Darling kinda loves the thought to make your knees weak instead of his. And to be honest... you loves it so fucking much, when your big shy bean find his self confidence again and tease the shit out of you, just saying, that he just wants to please you.
As you hear a soft whimper coming out of the speakers of you Laptop, you startle and your eyes snaps open immediatly. A little groan get out of you throat, that rises up from the deepest place of your chest. God, it shouldn't be allowed to be so fucking attractive, you think.
Jin pulled a latex glove of his right hand and is about to reach back to his most precious places, to grab the gemmed base of his plug. His left hand pull his buttcheek a little bit away to give you an amazing view of his action.
Your Boxer briefs has literally a tent at your crotch now and your cock twitch at the sight, is angrily fighting to be finally completely free. God, you're such a bastard for very detailed graphics... like the view Jinnie is giving you now.
You yank your Jeans and your Boxers with a curse down. Gripping your hard length and squeezes it with a firm grip, when you see Jin's rosy, seductively glistening muscle ring stretching open as your Boyfriend pulls the plug slowly out of himself.
He's panting fast when he let the plug fall on a towel beside him and his left hand leaves his butt. His upper body flops down onto the mattress and now, your Jinnie presents himself in the most erotic way you could imagine.
Ass up, sticking his butt out into the air and let you admire his sweet hole, slightly stretched my the plug, clenching around nothing in anticipation for the promised play session that will follow now.
Jin lets his lower body sink down as well, laying on his stomach and turning onto his right side. Allow you a little glance of Jin's adorably pink flushed cheeks and the red tips of his ears. This sight makes your heart and stomach flutter, blushy Jin while doing naughty stuff is just... hitting all of your soft spots in one tour.
He pulls his upper leg, his left leg up to his chest and positions himself comfortably, while he's pouring a good amount of lube onto his latex gloved fingers. Then he's reaching back again.
The pad of Jin's middle finger teases gently his entrance, his body is still moving until he founds a really comfortable position. After the tip of his finger disappeared in himself, the whole length of his finger sinks into his sweet hole as well. Let you watch, how he'll finger himself, enjoying himself, feeding his own desire, give him this desperately needed pleasure when you can't unfortunately. And fuck... that's so hot!
After he needs a short moment to adjust, he starts pumping his middle finger in and out. At first slowly, then faster and faster. Jin is getting even needier when the pleasure of his finger-play arise more and more. It didn't took long until he allows his ring finger to glide into his hot walls as well.
After a few thrusts of his hand, he begins to spread his two fingers apart, scissoring and stretching his sinful tight asshole open, let you watch the movements of his fingers very well.
You're gulping and breathing audibly out of your nose, a longing, slightly even desperate hum leaves your throat. You want to be at Jin's side, want to watch him in real.
You want to see, how he's stretching himself open for your cock, moaning and whimpering you name. You want to touch him. You want to grip his thigh and his left ass cheek firmly, give it a gentle slap and pull the soft flesh up to get a closer look.
Admiring how wonderful his fingers fucking himself, how rapidly he's slamming them into his hole, his noises getting even more whiny and desperate. His hips starts to circle, loud breathy and high pitched moans leaving his lips when his fingertips reaching for a second this sweet spot deep inside of him.
But just for a tiny moment, there is not enough stimulation for your needy Boy. Especially when he knows how good he could feel, when he remember the times when you teased his prostate.
Your thumb grazing again and again over your angry red, precum leaking crown, teasing yourself. The urge is enormous to just jack off in a brutal fast pace to finally satisfy the barely standable desire, that grows in your abdomen.
Your eyes don't leave the screen when you reach to your beside table and pull the first drawer open, searching uncoordinated with your hand in there. You curse under breath when you finally perceive the things you searched for, but can't grab them.
If you want or not, your eyes have to leave the erotic sight of Jin's figure for a moment, when you want to get your needed things out of the drawer.
You bend quickly over to the side, fishing the lube and your fleshlight out of your nightstand. You use this helpful toy when there is not enough friction to get you off or... when you're freaking horny... when you just want to fuck Jin right in that moment.
With it, you can better imagine how you'd be pounding into Jin, laying his legs over your shoulders and gripping his thighs. Let Jin whimper and beg until you allow him to touch his own cock to be finally able to cum. Imagine, how his hot walls gripping your cock tightly, literally squeezing and cock milking you until it's too much and you shoot you load of white, creamy cum deep inside of him.
Fuck, fuck, fuck! You need him so, so freaking bad right now, it drives you crazy!
When you turn back to your Laptop, Jin is panting heavingly and pulls his fingers out of himself right in that moment, throwing the used latex glove into the trash can next to his bed. Now you're the one who starts whining.
"Baby, why just stopped fingering yourself? Fuck, that was so damn hot and I love to see that, why-", you ask him, eyebrows pulled together in desperation and frustration.
Jin's body is trembling, he's panting fast and gasps for breath leaves his red swollen lips. He need a bit time to collect himself again and to be able to anwer you in a throaty voice.
"T-There is another surprise I prepared for you...", he's stuttering slightly and grab his laptop to place you with it in his desk. You're confused, again.
He goes back to his bed, step out of his pants completely now and pulling his green sweater over his head.
Now he's standing in his bare, naked full glory infront of the camera, let you gasp for breath. God, he's beautiful. His body reminds you always of these greek sculptures, his beauty is absolutely beyond all descriptions.
You can't describe him. You have to see him.
He grabs for the bottle of lube and lays it next to you, well, his laptop, on his desk. Without a word, you follow his actions, don't dare to say anything. Even when you two are not in the same room, there is a thick sexual tension between Jin and you through your laptops.
"Y/N... can you close your eyes for a moment? Until I say you can look again?", Jin says in a quiet voice. Looking at you through the camera in dark pupils full of lust and with pleading eyes, to just follow his appeal without asking.
Well, you wanted to protest but with this sight you close your mouth again and nod slightly, closing your eyes as well.
You hear some footsteps, something rumbles like he's moving something around. You knit confused and questioningly your eyebrows together, but you don't say anything. These noises disappears and silence returns to the speakers of your laptops. Just here and there you can hear some soft footsteps of Jin.
Suddenly, out of nowhere you can hear a long, broken moan of Jin that is followed by a soft, sweet "Oh my God, yes!" and a shaky, but so sensual hum that comes out of Jin's Chest.
"B-Baby... Y-You can open your eyes again..."
Even when you opened your eyes again, you can't believe them. That has to be a fucking dream, right?
You squint your eyes more than one time, your jaw dropped and you can't bring any proper sentences over your lips, starts babbling nonsense.
"O-Oh my holy fuck!... Jin, oh fuck... Fuck, fuck, fuck, you can't kill me like that! Y-You can't do this to me, I'll going completely crazy to see you like that... Fuck, Jin Baby, I want you so bad... Oh God, that's so sexy. You're so goddamn sexy."
Jin is sitting with the back to you on a chair with a flat seating surface, gripping moaning and whimpering the edge of the backrest tightly. Lifting himself slowly up and lower his body with the most delicious and tantalizing hip circles again.
Bouncing at first slow, then faster and faster on this transparent pink silicone dildo that is placed with a suction-pad on the seat.
Let you watch how good he can take this fake cock in his tight ass after he prepared himself with fingerfucking so well. How he lowers himself down, stuffing the dildo inch for inch into his stretched and needy hole, filling himself up with this silicone dick.
The way, how he's riding this dildo in front of the camera, so needy and desperate...
The way, how all these moans and whimpers flowing over his lips without any shame...
Let you guess, how much he needed you too, how bad he needed to get fucked by your cock again.
It shows you how much he's missing the sex with you.
You can't see his face, but the red tips of his ears. You don't know why, but it turns you so fucking much on, to see Jin's blushing face.
To see, how he's a little bit embarrassed for being so needy but at the same time he's riding this dildo so fucking desperate, can't stuff enough of this plastic cock into his greedy hole. Bouncing up and down on this dick, moaning your name like he's riding you in this moment, instead of this fake dick.
Let you see, how he would bouncing on you, how he would fucking you when you would be at his side.
And this... this so goddamn sexy that you have the feeling that you'll go insane by your desire for him.
"Jin, Baby... turn around. I want to see your face when you cum. I want to see your blushy face. Flushed red, caused by your embarrassment for doing filthy things in front of the camera, right?", you ask him breathless, a little teasing smirk.
Jin whine and when he hesitatingly turn around, you see that he got even redder. God, your precious baby is so shy doing dirty things with you... you love it!
While he's turning around and re-positioned himself above the dildo, you hastily prepare your rock hard cock and the fleshlight with lube. When Jin sinks down on that dildo, you enter with a deep groan the fleshlight.
The fleshlight is only a poor comfort when you know how tight and hot Jin's walls really are. But you see Jin with the same unsatiesfied desire when he's bouncing on that damn fake dick. Jin knows, how wonderful your cock, only your cock, stretch his ass in all perfect places open and filling him up to the maximum.
But still, it's definitely better than nothing! You'll go through this time together until you're finally able to lay in each others arms again.
You hear in Jin's whines and his needy face expression shows you that he gets closer and closer to the edge, but it's not enough to cum. He's about to wrap his hand around his hard, precum leaking dick, when you start lecturing him.
"Nuh, nuh, nuh! Baby, you know the rule, right? You're not going to touch your cock until I say so, is that clear? You know the reason? Hm?", you say in a harsh, dominant voice and raise an eyebrow.
Jin bite down on his plushy and swollen lip, try his best not to let a whine out. Jinnie's face full of desperation and sexual need is one of your favourite views... that's pure art.
"Y-Yes... I-I'm not allowed to touch myself until you're close too, so we can cum together...", he whimper with a broken voice.
"That's right, Darling... so please wait a little bit longer... for me, yeah?", you wisper in a gentle tone into the microphone of the laptop.
The longer Jin wasn't allowed to touch his dick, the more whinier he got, bouncing breathlessly up and down on his dildo. But exactly that turned you even more on and your hand, with which you hold the fleshlight moved even faster. So it doesn't took much time that you're on the cliff to cum too.
You enjoy how Jin looks at you since the last three minutes. So fucking desperate and needy, impatiently waiting at your sign that he's allowed to touch his cock and jack himself off.
A thin layer of sweat is covering his skin, his bangs sticks to his forehead, plush lips are red from chewing. His chest rises and falls quickly, Jin's breathing is fast. His fingers are clawed on the edges of the seat, his arms supporting him while riding the cute transparent, pastel pink silicone cock.
Your gaze move lower in his body, a satisfied smirk spread in your lips when you see his thick long cock twitching whenever he fills his ass with the dildo up to the base. The crown of his dick is red and precum is spread all over his stomach and the top of his thighs. His plump balls, completely full of delicous cum are shacked up to his body. They're just waiting for release and to be finally able to let the load shoot all over Jinnie's stomach and chest.
You love the sight. Even when you're not there, at the end you're still able to make a complete mess out of your sweet Boy.
Now, you think, he should be allowed to cum.
"Now, Baby...", you said with a teasing smirk and you're literally bathing in satisfaction when Jin gasps in relief and immediatley wrapping his hand into a fist around his cock. He just needed a few rubs until he cum with a high-pitched whine that sounds like a mixture of a moan and a sob. God, he's so messed up.
This sound alone let you blow your load into your fleshlight.
Jin's orgasm seems to be strong, the waves of pleasure leaves his body trembling and oversensitive. He flinch when he's about to get up from the dildo and takes it out of his super oversensitive hole.
God, he's so fucking beautiful when he's messed up.
"Baby, this was undescribable sexy... we should do it more often, definitely! Who know's when we're able to see each other in real life again? Hm, what do you think, Jinnie?"
Jin is gulping, his adams apple bobs in damn attractive way and then, he's nodding with bright red cheeks.
"Yes... please."
Tumblr media
Scrolling through Tumblr, you see a word search game. "After the Quarantine," it writes at the top. "The first 3 words you find are the first 3 things you will get after the quarantine." It's currently been five weeks since you've been stuck at home, and honestly, it has started to drive you crazy. The weather has gotten so much better, spring evident outside your window, which makes staying in so much more difficult. And even though you think indulging this game might only get you daydreaming about days that no one knows when will come, you do so anyway.
"Wine" is the first word that you see. Then again, it was the very first word anyway so you're not quite sure if it counts. "Pizza" is the second, and you're starting to see a pattern. Your eyes circle over the picture for a couple more seconds, finally falling on the word "beach". Wine, pizza, beach… sounds like a date.
So, obviously, your mind rushes to Jin.
Not that you needed too big of a reason to think about Jin considering it has been your main occupation these past few weeks. Nothing out of the ordinary. Just the overwhelming loneliness you feel now and then when you realize there's no hope of seeing his stupid face any time in the foreseeable future. You knew you had feelings for him, you've known for months. But this quarantine has forced you to suddenly come to terms with the cosmic magnitude of them. His texts were truly in short supply, even more scarce than when the world was still functional. Which didn't show any signs of missing you, apart from the occasional discussion of how bored he was at home and wished he could see other people. But let's be honest, translating that into him missing you needed some serious jumping-to-conclusions skills.
Even if he wasn't dying to see you though, you sure were. And an evening at the beach, pizzas, and wine sounded admittedly the best. You could picture the whole thing. After the quarantine is over, it's probably going to be well into the summer –well, hopefully. And you could get two of those pizzas, Italian style, with the slightly burned cheese on top that Jin had introduced to you. And you'd bring the two bottles of white wine that were still left in your apartment after the last gathering you had with your friends. You'd drive -I mean, he would- to the beach right after the sun had set. No, while it was setting, so that you could watch it. It would probably be empty by then, by people that is, yet filled with pink colors and a warm summer breeze.
Wait, no. If you go after the quarantine is over, then he'll probably bring his friends. The car will be full by all these guys, you wouldn't even be able to sit next to him so that you can smile and casually stroke his arm while he drives. Would Jin think you're asking him out if you asked to go alone? No, you couldn't risk something like that. Maybe it'd be better if you could go now…
Yeah, that would be really nice. Why wait until summer? Why not text him "I'm sick of staying home, you're sick of staying home, let's just sneak out and go watch the sunset at our nearest sandy coast". That way you would truly be alone. You would meet wearing masks and gloves (like the ones he was wearing in that cute selfie he had sent you to remind you to stay safe) and wave at each other from 1,5 meters afar. You could still have the pizzas delivered, right? And you already had the wine… Maybe you shouldn't sit next to him in the car, but that's a small sacrifice. The beach would be the same kind of beautiful, you would have it all to yourselves. It wouldn't be too cold, either too warm. You would probably be able to stay there until late at night with just a jacket and maybe a bonfire, if you were feeling in the mood to make one. And you would sit at opposite sides of the fire and look at each other like that, smiling under your mask and hoping your eyes don't betray you too much.
Jin would ask you to take a million pictures of him. He'd pose in front of the sunset, and next to the fire, with a pizza in his mouth, lying on the beach, running away from you, running towards you. He really loves having his pictures taken. You're pretty sure that's directly linked to his self-infatuated comments about his beauty, but he insists he is normally very shy and only does that around you. In any case, it's not that he's wrong when he says his face is gorgeous. Nor is having that gorgeous face stare at you through the camera a bad way of spending your time. Especially since you get to keep those pictures afterward.
By the time you'd sit down to eat, the pizzas would have turned cold. No problem, however, the specific ones tasted even better cold. You don't have to imagine how his thick lips would glister thanks to the oily cheese since you've already seen it many times. But maybe they'd still manage to look even more inviting with the fire's orange light dancing on and off them. Just like his eyes would look huge in the dark and shine when they would meet yours by accident. You'd need an excuse, like saying his hair looked funny because of the wind or that you still hadn't registered the fact that you were experiencing human interaction after so many days. Then you would have a free pass and would be able to stare at him as much as you wanted. Jin never seems to mind you staring. Perhaps never even notices. He is always devoted to his food, or the movie you're watching, or the coffee you're drinking. He talks to you, which means he knows you're there, but it's almost as if he actively avoids eye contact like the plague. Or, better yet, like Corona.
You're not saying that to complain, of course. If it weren't for Jin's casual neglect, you probably wouldn't have gotten to be as close friends as you are, before being found out. Or, even if you weren't found out, you wouldn't be able to keep your emotions in check around him and it would irritate even you. Sure, just watching him munch on that pizza made you blush, for whatever reason, but it didn't make you too flustered to talk, for example. You could either look at Jin or talk to Jin, not do both at the same time. It's almost as if he knew that, and he'd always sit next to you yet look straight ahead the whole time. Perhaps he couldn't do both either, without his ears turning red. Perhaps he was indeed a little shy.
Alright, maybe if you really went to the beach you'd just sit away from each other and admire the sea and the sky individually because getting too close would deem both of you off. But that doesn't mean it has to be like that in your daydream too, right? If you stayed there long enough, any light from the sky would be gone and it would start to get a little chilly, and maybe you'd have to scoot closer to him so that his broad shoulders could block some of the wind. He would most certainly say something about the virus, and how you're breaking the rules, but you wouldn't let it get to you. He would just be joking. In reality, he probably wanted you to sit close to him. It would be the closest thing to physical contact he'd get in so long. With the sun gone and the darkness providing a strange sense of privacy, you'd feel brave enough to turn your head to his side, and not turn it back ahead. Jin would finish off the second box of pizzas, and then pick at the fire with a stick, and maybe play with the sand; anything to avoid having to turn his head towards you as well.
The wine would still be in abundance. At first, you wouldn't have much to say –what news could you have when you're both at home all the time?– and you'd enjoy the view, and the comfortable silence, and each other's company. At least you would. But after you'd get to drinking, and finish off a couple of glasses (the paper ones he'd provide) you would suddenly find your tongues in great energy. If Jin started telling his jokes, which he always does, you would be in grave danger of giggling and pushing him playfully. There was generally a lot of touching involved in two cases: when Jin made you laugh, and when you were drunk. When both were true?
Well... How has Jin not realized your feelings for him yet? Thinking about it now, it seems almost impossible. Unless he has, and that's why he acts all shy around you. But that doesn't make sense either. If he knew about your crush on him, he wouldn't keep hanging out with you so much, would he? No, that'd be giving you false hope. He wouldn't do that. He wouldn't come, say, at the beach with you like that, if he knew. So he probably doesn't know.
If he did come to that beach, however, he would definitely find out about your feelings by the end. If it wasn't after the first bottle of wine, when your face would be all red and you wouldn't be able to take your eyes off his face, or your hands off his arms, it would certainly be after the second bottle. Because by then you would have probably confessed. Not intentionally, of course. Logical, sober you would never do such a thing. But silly, drunk you would undoubtedly let something stupid slip her mouth, like a complaint about his dry texting or a compliment about his peculiarly nice eyebrows. And silly, drunk Jin would blush, a little confused, not knowing how to respond. Eventually, he would note how close you'd gotten, and the tone in your voice when you made those unusual comments. And if he still didn't say anything, well, then you'd get frustrated enough to blurt everything out. Right?
After that, there is no way of telling what would happen. Hopefully nothing so embarrassing that you wouldn't even be able to survive a car ride back home with him. And yes, that's as hopeful as you can get. If you start hoping for more, like a reciprocation of your feelings, or even a mere acceptance, you'll scold yourself for getting your hopes up. For thinking of such impossible stuff. This whole wine, pizza, and beach idea is too far fetched anyway. Jin wouldn't want to do that with you. And even if he did, it wouldn't go the way you think. Sure, if you actually had the whole beach to yourselves, a nice day, a beautiful scenery, a warm bonfire, good food, lots of wine, and most importantly Jin by your side, you'd get all mushy, and slushy, and gushy, and then… who knows? Maybe you'd be crazy enough to kiss him.
Okay, maybe just hug him 'cause you're a coward above all.
You register the view outside your window and realize it has gotten dark. How long have you been sitting there thinking about Jin? The hidden word game is still the first thing you see when you move your mouse a bit. You shake your head at your antics. It's a good thing you don't have anything else you should be doing, otherwise, you might have to ask Jin for compensation, considering the damage he could do to your work if you keep up like that. But still, you download the picture and send it to him.
"I got money, friends, and marriage," he texts you just seconds afterward, as if he was right over his phone, waiting for your text. But then again, he probably was. Not waiting for your text, that is, but over his phone all day. Quarantine edition.
"You already got the first two, the third one is the only one that concerns me," you reply with a smirk. Yes, he probably thinks you're so funny. If you think about it a little more, however, you'd start to literally worry.
"It's only concerning if you didn't get it too ;)"
You blink at that text. Concerning… if you didn't get marriage too? Why? Did he not want to be the only married one in the group or something like that? No, that couldn't be it. But whatever, Jin's humor was lost to you sometimes. It wasn't the first time he made comments like that, chuckled awkwardly and confused you even more as to how to interpret them.
You decide to avoid immediate acknowledgment and simply state: "I got wine, pizza, and beach."
"Oh… sounds like a date!"
You can't fight the blush that appears on your cheeks, however much you tell yourself he isn't asking you on a date, he's just stating the obvious. He didn't say a date with you, just any date. But your cheeks keep on burning. You chew your bottom lip as you text him back.
"That's what I thought too. But I'd also do it with a friend. After staying in for so long an evening at the beach would be so refreshing."
You very specifically wrote the word "friend" in there so that you could include him. Not that he is just a friend to you, but that is probably what he sees himself as, right? That's a good strategy. Let him think this is anything but a date, this is far from that. This is just two friends casually hanging out. And then maybe it will happen.
"No don't go with a friend let's go together.."
Yes that's what you mean too. You didn't write that though. Obviously. You didn't tell him that he is the friend (well, not exactly friend if you want to be literal) you're talking about since he apparently thought you were talking about one of your other friends. That's what he meant by "a friend", right?
Wait… Did he actually say you can go together? Does he mean alone? The two of you?
"You wanna go to the beach after the quarantine is over??" you text with your eyes wide, watching how the three bubbles appeared from his side immediately. Maybe this will really happen? Maybe thinking it might happen now isn't exactly getting your hopes up?
"Hmm the quarantine is taking too long. Wish we could go now."
You don't have time to think. You don't have time to overthink, actually. You just ride on that wave of God knows what and text him back to back as fast as you can.
"Now? Do you think the police will arrest us or something lol"
"Small price to pay, don't you think?"
"Small price to pay to see me?"
"No, to eat pizza."
You exhale loudly. Then you facepalm. You can't believe you let yourself get excited again. See, this is why you can't dare to kiss him even in your dreams.
"If you want pizza you can just order delivery you goof."
This was the first time he took a little too long to answer. Well, it was still under two minutes, but it wasn't as immediate as the rest and you noticed it.
"Okay maybe it's not just the pizza…"
You sigh and decide to lie down on your bed. What were you going to do with that man? How he was playing with your heart so easily as if he was born to do that, and yet he had no idea.
"Let me guess. The wine?"
To your surprise he said: "Hm no."
You weren't sure what to say after that. The beach? The human contact? Like… any human contact? Just getting out of the house? It couldn't be you, he had already discarded that explanation, right?
Maybe you took a little too long to reply since he double texted you: "Anyway I guess you'll find out when we go.."
"Okay… I'll bring the wine!" you write playfully, trying to pretend your heart was fluttering.
"Does that mean I'm on pizza duty? Alright, I'll get the Italian ones I showed you the last time, remember?"
"Yummy :3 will you drive too?"
"Of course, I wouldn't let you anywhere near the wheel."
"Does that mean you won't let me ride shotgun?? :("
"No, shotgun is obligatory. I'm not your taxi driver."
You laugh at his text and roll on your stomach. You knew you wouldn't actually do it, at least not right now, but it was nice to see he wanted it as much as you did. Maybe for different reasons, but you still wanted to see each other. Right?
"That sounds less than 1,5 meters distance," you text him back.
"Details… let's meet first and then we decide on those ;)"
The rest of your evening was spent texting with Jin about what you would do if you could actually sneak out and go to a beach right now. And, who would have thought, the excursion didn't sound too different from how you imagined it. There were a few different opinions expressed here and there, such as he would take pictures of you, not the other way around, or he would definitely throw you in the water. He argued you'd eat most of the food and get drunk faster, and he would have to carry you home. And that you would pretend to be cold just so you could steal his jacket. But in the end, you both agreed on one thing: it didn't have to be a beach, or pizzas, or wine. It just had to be you two, hanging out, and it would be just what you needed right now.
You thought about that, as you fell asleep that night, whispering to yourself with a smile: "Maybe he misses me a little after all…"
Welcome to the first blog post of Silver.Me.Energy. This is a passion project very close to my heart as I believe wholeheartedly in living a sustainable life. I hope that you will enjoy this journey with me and my team as we navigate various benefits of living life sustainably and sharing sustainability conscious contents.
Since corona virus appeared in 2020 it became apparent that these are rather uncertain times. So uncertain that it affected the very fabric of society. Developing countries such as South Africa are finding themselves receding into the dark ages as communities are faced with load-shedding, unemployment and sanitation issues. The question is, how to individuals let alone communities sustain their way of living and create ways to live without being dependent on others?
This is a very tricky question as it is ingrained in the DNA of human beings to be social and interdependent species. This is proven with the recent spike of mental health issues throughout various continents presumably spurred on by the sudden isolation that society has been subjected to. It is at this point that it became apparent to me that one must absorb as much knowledge as possible on sustainable living methods in order to make the most out of an unpleasant transition to the new normal.
The idea of sustainable living would cover all aspects of an individuals life and really causes one to re-evaluate their choices in life from the consumption of water and food, the consumption of energy via electrical appliances and they way these elements replenish themselves.
It is no longer an elitist choice to live a “sustainable life”, it is now a global prerequisite for each person and their family nucleus to find the solutions that will to put themselves in a position of being self sufficient. As it seems even the worlds governments find themselves at their wits end frantically grasping at solutions to ease the uncertainty of the rapidly changing world that we find ourselves in.
This is why here at Silver.me.energy we’ve made it our mandate to focus on self help solutions anchored in sustainable living. The first rule of survival is to help yourself first before you help your Neighbour. This is why meditation and yoga are our first point of departure as a means to calm ourselves and start the day on a peaceful note. What will follow next is discussion on nutrition and what sustains this peace that we have established in our bodies through yoga and meditation. Then move on to sustaining the environment that shields us and protects us, i.e. our homes, sanitation systems and electrical energy systems.
The corona family of viral pathogens has existed in many many forms long before COVID-19, and there is no support for COVID-19 being transmitted by non-human hosts. Be sensible, but not panicked. Wash your hands, cough into your sleeve, don't touch your face. Self isolate, and please please please be considerate and supportive of your community by self isolating if sick, and not panic-buying. It's the same as herd immunity via vaccines. There is a population of people at risk, who are relying on the general population to act responsibly to protect them. Excerpt from @kardiniaveterinaryclinic who did an excellent FAQ... We have been getting a lot of calls with owners worried about their pets with the recent Coronavirus outbreak, so here is a list of our frequently asked questions and answers: * Can my pet get Covid -19? No, currently there is no evidence that this strand of Coronavirus can be transmitted to pets. * What about the Greyhound case in Geelong? This was the Canine Coronavirus which has always been present in Australia and is NOT related to the Covid - 19 virus. The Greyhounds have been quarantined and it is highly unlikely to spread. * How did a dog in Hong Kong test positive? This dog was in close contact with an infected human, who was likely shedding large quantities of the virus. This led to the virus particles being in the dog’s nose without it actually being infected. In short, there was Coronavirus on the dog just like there was Coronavirus on the floor in the room but the dog was not infected or diseased. * Is there a vaccine for Covid - 19? There is currently no vaccine for animals or humans against Covid - 19 For more information read the following article https://wsava.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/COVID-19_WSAVA-Advisory-Document-Feb-29-2020.pdf #Rachie Check out some of our favourites! @theunusualpetvets @alison_ratwise @therescuecollective #RachiesRatirementHome #thisiswhyifoster #thisislove #mylittleloves #mylittleratbags #shenanigans #cutiepatooties #fostering #fosterbabies #ratrescue #rescuebabies https://www.instagram.com/p/B9oBISMnX1L/?igshid=1er574uk7zs3s
Appreciation letter
To,  The Intelligent beings of our Nation
20th April 2021
Subject: Appreciation letter to the people who're always ready to take extra measures to keep their families safe.
Dear Wise Person Hope this email finds you in the best of your health. I would like to thank you from the core of my heart for keeping yourself and the people around you safe during this worldwide crisis. When you didn't have the mask, you innovated your way out of it by using your handkerchief or a scarf as a perfect replacement. In fact, you shared the same piece of cloth with your friend whenever it was required. We recently concluded one of the biggest Wedding seasons ever, I'm glad you didn't let those hideous masks hide your perfectly shaped nose. As one fashion enthusiast from a prison cell once said, "If you have got it, you got to show it to the world." Not only were you stylish, but you were also smart, you made sure to keep away from carrying a sanitizer bottle in your pants where it would look rather disgusting bulging out of your watch pocket, or even keeping it in your purse where it would take unnecessary space.
Your work reflects your dedication to the mission of Atmanirbhar Bharat. You made sure to read & follow at least one article floating around on WhatsApp on daily basis. You didn't skip when your YouTube recommended you, "Yeh Desi Dawa karegi, 2 ghante me Corona ka Jad se Khatma!!" You are a Self-made doctor, you made sure to take 2-3 glasses of Methi Soup, Turmeric soup daily along with heavy quantities of Zinc-based food to boost immunity. You procured the drug, "Remdesivir" which is not easily prescribed by a medical professional since it is only given to patients with very specific conditions at a very specific time, but you did it. You have special skills when it comes to getting things over the counter. Not just me but financial experts and like are thrilled to have such a terrific group of people like you working in unison to bring back the economy on track, even if it means hoarding the Neutraceuticals.
The virus came daunting at this particular time, last year. With many restrictions in place, it took away our freedom as an individual. But, you didn't give in to the pressure or the rumors. You came forward and dared to organize your birthday. The virus could control the world, but not you! You decided to invite all your friends in for a pool party and laughed at the stupid virus. You understand that it's not folklore but a fact-based reality that we Indians have better immunity by nature. Now, I'm aware of the false information that Scientists think lower fatality rates have something to do with our relatively young population but we all know what's the truth. Just because they tell us to socially distance ourselves, we can't let someone else take advantage of that fact and jump the line. You never took the risk to give anyone space to cut the queue, anywhere and we salute you for that.
You are an inspiration for the whole country and you have a significant role to play in the future success of the program. Motivated by your efforts and evident through ads running during IPL, Scientists have now been able to invent such fans that kill the virus, the pillows which protect you from the virus, the bedsheets, the lamps, the air conditioners, and whatnot. I don't even know how this virus is surviving in the first place? Anyway, I just wanted to take a moment and thank you for being such a valuable asset to our country. We’ve all learned from your success and will continue to do so!
Furthermore, I am attaching the links to the rumors and the fake news that has been spreading across the internet. So you make sure nobody believes them.
Sincerely,  Vishal Meena A Concerned Citizen
Ps. It's time to get serious about Cornovirus, the second wave is the direct result of celebrating success too soon. It breaks my heart to see more people lining up in a queue to get Remdesivir than to get vaccinated. If you're eligible to get the vaccine, please get it and if not you're not eligible yet, educate and motivate your elders who can. Please take all the necessary precautions and always consult a doctor before buying any Neutraceuticals. As always if you have suggestion or a message, feel free to drop it here anonymously. Thank you!
Episode 5: Why Machiavelli Would Never Wear a Mask (And Why You Shouldn’t Either)
12/9/2020
Last week’s episode of the Young Heretics podcast was about The Prince by Niccolo Machiavelli. The Prince is one of those classics of western lit that I’ve never actually read – or even taken a college class where this was one of the texts. What little I remember about this text is from history class during my junior year in high school. Mrs. Jones (no relation) told us that Machiavelli wrote The Prince as a treatise on political philosophy. He believed that the ends justified the means, and that the best way for a prince to retain power over the people was to rule by fear rather than love. The word “Machavellian” has always been used as a pejorative description in our modern society, often referring to those people who are cold, heartless, and unfeeling. Machiavelli’s name has become synonymous with those characters in popular movies, books and TV shows that attempt to control other characters and events by using various means of deceit and guile.
Now, to be fair, Mrs. Jones’ interpretation and summary of The Prince is not entirely wrong. I did a brief Google search on Machiavelli and The Prince, and about half the links of my search results reaffirmed that view. The other half, however, offered a surprisingly different take on The Prince, one that is also shared by Spencer Klavan on Young Heretics. That podcast is now 29 episodes old, but this is the first one that has presented me with something entirely new – both the text itself and the interpretation of it.
In his advice to the titular prince, Lorenzo de Medici, Machiavelli instructs him on how to best maintain power and control of his subjects and his state. The best way to do this, Machiavelli believed, was for the prince to be feared rather than loved. Also, at times, it would be necessary to use what many would consider to be unjust or immoral means in order to sustain that power and control. Hence Machiavelli’s negative reputation in the history books and modern culture.
But Spencer makes the argument that Machiavelli’s reputation is ill-earned. There’s more to this Italian philosopher than what has been passed down in the history books. To put it simply, Machiavelli was a realist. He addressed human nature – and human behavior – in harsh, realistic terms. This was how Machiavelli viewed the world. To use our vernacular, he didn’t sugarcoat the bad stuff. He understood how people behaved – both the ones in power and the ones being ruled – and he framed his advice to his prince in these simple, realistic terms.
I’ve spent the last several days thinking about this episode, and I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Spencer chose this episode to air when it did. All over the country, many state governors have issued lockdown orders for their principalities in response to a renewed surge in positive cases of COVID-19. As any of you who know me – either in real life or via social media – can attest, I am a rabid believer in the battle against face masks and the lockdowns. I’m also a firm believer in the actual science – as opposed to the political nonsense spouted by Doctor Fauci and his panel of “experts” – that says over and over how useless and pointless the masks are in the efforts to stop the spread of the corona virus. And, as you also know, I have plenty of time on my hands to think while at my day job, and the other day I came to a rather startling conclusion:
We should all be more like Machiavelli.
When exactly did we, the American people, become a nation of whiny, spoiled, self-entitled sissies? A nation of people who are so terrified of the possibility of dying that we happily give up our most basic freedoms and cower inside our homes or behind masks? Because that's exactly what's happened. The basic liberties and routines of our daily lives and, for many, their very livelihoods, were suddenly halted and/or shut down by our state governors who were acting in response to so-called science and medical “experts” in the effort to save a small, vulnerable percentage of our population. I've lost count of the number of times I've read  on social media posts in the last 6 months about how pro-maskers wear a mask to protect their 85 year old grandmother or their 70 year old father. I've been called “heartless” and “pro-Nazi” from strangers in the comments section of news articles whenever I respond with the same argument that I'm going to put forth here.
We of the last couple generations have become so soft and spoiled and lazy that we've forgotten just how harsh and deadly real life can often be. And I'm including myself in that crowd. Those of us born in the last four decades of the 20th century have known nothing but prosperity and comfort, especially if – like me – you grew up in a typically middle class household. This is even more true of anyone born after 1995. I'm speaking of the generation that has never known life without Starbucks, Amazon, Google or a cell phone; the generation that grew up using laptop computers and watching TV by streaming it on the internet. In fact, we've become so complacent that we don't even have to leave our comfort zones to order a Big Mac from McDonald's or groceries from Walmart. When I was growing up in the 80s, I remember having to wait an eternity (4-6 weeks) for a toy to arrive that I had mail-ordered from a Sears catalog. Nowadays, I complain if my Amazon package isn't on my doorstep within 24 hours.
For pretty much all of us, 2020 was a massive wake-up call; a Mike-Tyson-punch-to-the-face or dive-into-Lake-Michigan-in-the-middle-of-December kind of wake-up call. None of us were prepared for a pandemic whose projected death toll was in the millions. Everyone from the top down – the president, our congressmen, our state governors, the national and local health experts – reacted instinctively. The medical experts, especially, were very quick to panic, based primarily on preliminary reports from European countries and China. Many state governors – most of them Democrats – were quick to declare a state of emergency and issue a lockdown order for their respective principalities. Hundreds of thousands of Americans were suddenly without work. Unemployment claims shot through the stratosphere. Congress approved an economic stimulus package. Everyone in the government – both national and local – assured us citizens that the lockdowns were temporary, two months at most.
But, of course, two months became three, then four, and by mid-July, many states were still in phase one or two of their “re-opening”. By this point, even the liberal-controlled mainstream media was reporting on the sudden spike of suicides in the lockdown states. Millions of unemployment claims were stuck in severe backlog, and more and more workers were being put on furlough by their employers – or just simply laid off. Here in Las Vegas, for example, the entire strip was a complete ghost town from mid-March to mid-June. This city's economy is utterly dependent on the tourism industry, and, with all casinos and hotels completely closed, the city as a whole suffered greatly. It's still suffering, in fact, even though most of the strip has been open since mid-July. Almost all the hotels and casinos can only afford to be open from Thursday to Sunday. Thousands here are still unemployed or working two part time jobs for barely minimum wage just to make basic ends meet.
And now, as I write this, our governor – along with those of California, New York, and many others – has declared a second round of lockdowns. In California, both Governor Newsom and the mayor of L.A. have banned indoor AND outdoor dining at all restaurants. And again, we the citizens have been told that this is for our own safety, and that these lockdowns will be temporary. One doesn’t have to look far on Twitter or Facebook to see cell phone videos of desperate, tearful, and/or furious restaurant and bar owners engaged in verbal rages about the injustice of all of this.
Here’s what should have happened clear back in February of this year:
Our leaders – our princes, if you will – both national and local, should have consulted not only the medical experts but also a team of economic and social advisors. The governors of every state should have taken a long, hard look at the long term cost of even a brief economic shutdown versus the projected death toll in the short term if COVID-19 was allowed to run its natural course through the U.S. population. You can already see where I’m headed with this. Our governors chose to shut down their states, to close all “non-essential” businesses, and ordered all citizens to self-quarantine. This was only supposed to be for a few weeks, at most. But we’ve all witnessed the long term effects of these shutdowns – skyrocketing unemployment rates, a rapid, severe spike in suicides and domestic abuse cases, and children who are falling so far behind in school due to “distance learning” that many will simply end up dropping out or repeating the same grade for another year.
Our princes should have been more like Machiavelli. They should have allowed life to continue as normal – no mask mandates, no social distancing orders, and most definitely no mandatory quarantines. Instead, the princes should have advised all citizens that the choice was theirs to self-quarantine or not, and that face masks would also be encouraged but completely optional. The result of this, of course, would mean a very high death toll in the short term. There would be no way to avoid this. As we already know now, face masks and social distancing are pointless and useless when it comes to preventing the spread of COVID. The highest numbers of fatalities would be among those older than 65. Hospitals and morgues would be overwhelmed. Emergency triage centers would have to be established in parking lots and empty football stadiums. For a month or two, the news headlines would be filled each day with the most recent death tolls.
But then, into the third month, the death count would start to go down. As herd immunity was finally achieved, life would, slowly but surely, get back to normal. And through it all, there would have been a slight drop in the regular business of many restaurants, movie theaters, and other recreational businesses that rely on tourism and seasonal traffic. But, ultimately, the country would have recovered from this much faster than they will in our present timeline. As it stands now, hundreds of thousands of small businesses across America have gone bankrupt and closed their doors for good. Even major restaurant chains like Ruby Tuesday and Sweet Tomatoe’s have permanently closed many – if not all – their locations. In the alternate timeline, where they had been allowed to remain open with no restrictions of any kind on the number of customers they were allowed to have inside at any time, these businesses would most likely still be up and running.
Yes, that means that your 75 year old father or your 90 year old grandma would have probably died. But that’s life. Like Machiavelli, I’m not gonna sugarcoat it. Life is hard. If you haven’t figured that out by now, you’re in for a long and frustrating existence on this earth. And lest you think I’m speaking from some superior, unaffected, condescending platform where I have not experienced any loss or hardship this year, let me remind of you of my blog post about my close friend Aaron Walker from a month ago. No, his death was not the result of COVID, as far as I know, but it was sudden, and it was completely unexpected. I’m still feeling his loss. But you know what? Life goes on. We mourn the dead, we bury them, and then we move on. Death is a fact of life. Machiavelli would have understood that, and so should all of us in 2020. This year has seen a lot of death, more than anything in recent decades, in fact. But that’s life. That’s the way life goes sometimes, and trying to avoid that inevitability by forcing face masks and quarantine and shutting down businesses on a whim is not going to change that simple fact.
I know many of you reading this are probably screaming at your phone screen right now, calling me all kinds of names and cursing me. “How can you be so heartless????” you rave. “How can you allow so many elderly and innocents to die just so you can still go to the movies or sit down at McDonald’s to enjoy your iced coffee and Big Mac????” “You’re a murderer because you still refuse to wear a mask in public!!!!”
And you know what? You’re absolutely right. I am probably infecting others by not wearing a mask. I do still want to go to a movie on Friday night and pig out on overpriced popcorn and soda. I do enjoy going out to eat at least once a week with all my friends. And yep, I’m perfectly fine with accepting the reality that many people are going to die because our governors refused to sacrifice the whole society in the chance that it might save a few innocent lives.
In other words, “The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, or the one.” That edict is as true today as when Spock said it to Captain Kirk in Star Trek 2 in 1982. Machiavelli would have completely understood that statement, and he also would have understood this: that which doesn’t kill us makes us stronger. We humans have been spreading disease to one another ever since Adam and Eve were cast out of the Garden of Eden. Death, you see, is the natural consequence of sin. Death is unavoidable, and death comes for us all. For some of us, we are lucky enough to live rich, full lives. For others, death comes all too soon. My grandfather will be 90 years old this year on December 31st. If I were to ask him today if he were ready to shuffle off this mortal coil and be welcomed into the arms of our Heavenly Father, his answer would be an immediate and resounding, “Yes!”. Your 75 year old father or your 85 year old grandmother are most likely looking forward to death. That doesn’t mean you should just kill them now by your own hand to hasten the inevitable. But it does mean that they are ready to meet their maker if their number is up. (And, by the way, is not more cruel to force the elderly to slowly waste away alone, locked up in forced quarantine in nursing homes, not allowed to see or even speak to their loved ones until they eventually die of depression, loneliness or COVID???)
COVID-19 is an act of God. It’s a chance of nature, a random thing that has struck the human race, and none of us have the power to change it or ward it off or protect ourselves and our loved ones against its wrath. As we have been doing since the Tower of Babel, we humans have infected one another and survived many, many plagues worse than this one. So you need to stop your whining, stop your complaining, pick yourself up, and get on with your fucking life. And, while you’re at it, you might want to open your Bible and get acquainted with your Creator. Because, sooner or later, you’re gonna meet him, and if you have not accepted his son, Jesus Christ, as your lord and savior, you will spend eternity in a place that makes COVID look like a summer’s vacation in the Florida Keys.
So, in conclusion, be more like Machiavelli. Throw away your damn mask, rise up against the tyranny of our modern princes, and help me get our lives back to normal. If we do not stand up for our freedoms we will most assuredly lose every last one of them.
Mmmmm-kay???
(And, by the way, if you haven’t been listening to Young Heretics, I strongly advise you to drop everything and begin immediately. Look it up on YouTube or wherever you get your podcasts. It will change your life.
You’re welcome.)
What gets measured gets managed (unfortunately)
and the more something is measured, the more it is managed
It took me 3 hours to write a cogent explanation of how I feel about the pandemic situation. I feel better having organized my thoughts and hope you find it helpful.
The horror of a pandemic is that there are no good options.  There are no easy solutions, just shitty choices and shittier consequences.  The way we’re navigating those choices is curiously influenced by our measurements and our instinctual, primitive decision making.
Let’s start with the measurements.  I live in Minnesota where the rate of infection and death has been relatively modest.  How modest?  The Star Tribune reports the statistics each day on the front page in large print: as of April 17, 2020 there were 2,071 confirmed infections and 111 deaths.  The national statistics are more sobering: 705,112 confirmed infections and 58,346 deaths.  I’m not one who accuses the media of being aligned with the liberal elite or any of that other horseshit, but I do think the media has failed in one critical way - the media has failed to provide CONTEXT when reporting these figures.
Our primitive brains are bad at big numbers.  Our brains are evolved for the kind of numbers you see on the savanna; the kind of numbers you would see in your tribe.  More than you can count on your fingers, but not much more than that.  Numbers bigger than that are alarming; they are inherently difficult for our emotional, fear driven, immediate-danger-avoiding brains to grasp.  It’s difficult to make good pandemic response decisions because the numbers are too big for effective gut decisions.  The best way to help our under-powered caveman brains is by adding context.  Context, context, context.
Here is the context: in 2017 in Minnesota 44,361 people died (121.5 per day).  Nationally in 2018, 2,839,205 died (7,778 per day). Think about that for a moment... nearly 8,000 people die every day; can you imagine if the newspaper headlines every day kept a running tally? These are large numbers but they aren’t in the headlines every day because we’ve become accustomed to them.  Our brains don’t associate those large numbers with an immediate threat and they’ve become white noise.  My point is, large numbers are scary.  Large numbers without context are even scarier.
Our collective response to the virus is driven by more than just the large numbers however.  We’re also disarmed by the novelty of the threat.  Ironically, the virus is often referred to in exactly this way; the novel Covid-19 Corona virus.  Indeed, our brains react strongly to all novel threats.  From an evolutionary perspective it’s very helpful to react strongly to new threats.  From a public policy perspective, however, it’s not as productive.  In 2018 59,120 people died from influenza or pneumonia.  The deaths were concentrated among the elderly (but not exclusively) and yet 54% of the US didn’t get a flu shot in the 2018-19 flu season. You’ll hear a variety of excuses for not getting a flu shot, but with the exception of those who are immune compromised, all the excuses are BS.  The real reason is the regular flu is no longer a novel threat.  There is a different flavor of flu each year and everyone other than Trump (and perhaps the governor of Georgia) knows it kills a lot of people.  But it’s not a new threat and it hasn’t killed us yet (obviously) so most of us (not me) ignore the opportunity to get vaccinated.  Again, this is an evolutionary relic, hardwired into the physiology of our brain, influencing our behavior.  We are highly attuned to new, acute threats and very good (too good) at ignoring chronic threats.  Examples of ignoring chronic threats abound - type II diabetes, climate change, and the runaway concentration of wealth in modern economies are just a few examples. My point is that even when we put the numbers in context, humans always react disproportionately to a novel threat.
This brings us to the issue of measurements.  The axiom, “What gets measured gets managed” (wrongly attributed to Peter Drucker) is most definitely true.  The Dow Jones Industrial Average is reported with such accuracy, precision and frequency that it is often mistaken as THE measure of the health of the economy (an error which Trump encouraged until very recently).  Numbers are influential when reported that way and any number which is widely reported and frequently updated most definitely gets managed.  This is true even if managing the number in question has deleterious unintended consequences.  Again, this is true of the stock market.  The DJIA is NOT an effective comprehensive measurement of the health of the US economy, yet it is widely revered as such and it’s performance is stimulated and protected in ways which are often harmful to actual health of the overall economy. My point is that when it comes to public policy, the numbers we can easily measure and report each day and therefore manage the shit out of are almost always the wrong numbers and trying to optimize these numbers can have very harmful unintended consequences.  The important things to measure are always harder to measure; they change slowly over time and are very difficult to influence (again think of your weight, the environment and the distribution of wealth).
We’re also influenced by who we see and hear.  Today we hear from health experts (doctors, nurses, Dr. Fauci and the CDC, etc.).  These are all people who have dedicated their career to extending the lives of others at any cost.  You can’t expect the CDC to balance their recommendations to save as many lives today as possible with the longer term societal consequences.  That’s not the team they play for.  It would be like asking a tax accountant to consider the benefits of tax simplification.  If you really want to have a balanced discussion on this issue you need to have a few historians and economists sharing the microphone with Dr. Fauci and unfortunately no one ever wants to hear from a historian or economist.
This is where we are today.  A novel threat has so focused our attention on managing and minimizing the large, frequently reported out of context numbers of illnesses and deaths that we’ve incorrectly assumed that our responses won’t cause an equal or greater amount of longer term misery, illness and death.  Our instinctual reaction is reinforced by only asking for the advice of those whose life mission is minimizing short term illness and death.  It is naive to think that shutting down the economy for weeks or months won’t have equal or more serious health and morbidity consequences.  But it is true that those consequences won’t be measurable, certainly not in daily newspaper headlines.
I’ve seen the memes accusing politicians and the rich of deciding the economy and their fortunes are worth the death of 2-3% of the population.  My argument is not about protecting the economy for the sake of the economy or the rich.  My argument is that there are no good options and we can’t pretend that lowering the Corona virus deaths at all costs now won’t have worse long term misery, illness and morbidity consequences over the long term.  (If you don’t think trashing an economy and creating runaway inflation doesn’t have health and morbidity consequences just spend a few minutes reading about Venezuela.) Our current flatten-the-curve-at-all-costs strategy primarily benefits the old (the most at risk of the virus) while endangering the health and wellness of the young over the long term.  I definitely don’t fall in the young camp so I’m not saying this in my own self-interest.  I’m not a historian either but I can’t recall a successful society making a similar choice.
I absolutely loathe the idea of being associated with the kind of people who are currently shouting about the cure being worse than illness.  But if I really examine what’s driving my emotional response to this situation (which I’ve tried to explain above), I can’t help but agree. (Though you won’t find me blocking the entrance to a hospital like the militia morons on Michigan.) If you’re a politician who is actually trying to lead, you’re really screwed right now, because there are no good options.  Either way you will be legitimately criticized for the consequences of your decision and only one of those choices has consequences which can easily be measured in the next election cycle.
What’s going to happen next is what has to happen.  Some time soon the Fed is going to run out of bullets.  States and municipalities are constitutionally prohibited from running deficits and can’t afford >25% unemployment compensation claims AND falling tax revenues for very long. In a complete vacuum of federal leadership (even within constitutional limits), states will cobble together policies allowing most businesses to reopen and most people will go back to work, albeit with masks and as much social distancing as possible. We will hope that the last few weeks has increased our ICU and ventilator capacity and advanced our treatment protocols enough to avoid a rebound in fatalities.  This is the unavoidable reality.
My closing thought is that the process of discovering the unavoidable necessity of reopening the economy is sadly, a bit like finding out that Santa isn’t real.  Most kids figure it out on their own and can’t help but feel a bit disappointed that their parents didn’t just sit them down and tell them the truth.  I remember feeling embarrassed and naive.  I kind of feel like that now.  The Trump administration should have done a better job preparing for a pandemic, starting by not firing the team put in place by Obama.  But it’s too late for that.  Now we’re just left with shitty choices with shittier consequences.  Let’s at least have an adult conversation and stop hoping that Santa is going to make it all go away with warm weather, or hydroxychloroquine, the wall, international travel restrictions or whatever other snake oil Trump is selling.
Today’s entry
I can't believe it's almost been a year since lockdown started.
At this time last year, corona virus wasn't something I thought would have such an impact on my life but here I am. I do feel like it is an over exaggeration when people claim that these sort of happenings affect their life drastically, because I find it hard to believe that our lives are so simple as to change by a single factor. I guess, by "life changing" it might refer to changes in relationships, work situation, health and so on - the individual parts which make up your life. This makes sense. But I realise now that even such a global-scale problem can't really change what it's like to live life, entirely.
You realise that certain patterns never change - you might still have the same habits - even if some aspects of your behaviour change your deep-rooted ways of thinking always come back to haunt you sometimes. Sometimes they're helpful, and can keep us going in 'tough unprecedented times'.
I think it would be fair to say that I do have some helpful habits, which are hard to deny thanks to experiencing them consistently enough. I notice, for instance, that I always want to do something properly and well, even in the most difficult situations. This habit is good because it means that I take life seriously, and have a desire to be good which can keep me going even if I'm at my worst.
But an issue with this habit is that it makes my more weakest moments, and failures more impactful. Some might say this itself could be good, as it can help you improve and learn. I say that for me, it has the bad impact of  making me self critical to a frightening level, and hit world-record levels of disappointment when I realise how little I'm living up to what I preach. I hate hypocrisy a lot, even though from my own experiences I know how hard it is not to be a hypocrite, as a human being. I'd say it comes from an inevitable clash between the rigid structure of reality and the detached nature of ideals.
Ideals are concerned with possibility -  the way things should-be - which has little place in reality. Thus, they are always harder to act upon, or materialise into words, so they get lost in the whirlpool of our immediately present sensations and feelings.
Speaking of ideals though, usually what people think ideals refer to are grand dreams like getting rid of large-scale suffering, or making any sort of difference to the world in general. But for me it's always struck me as something much simpler, something that seems to be taken for granted: self-actualising. In the first place, it is these internal guidelines, or expectations of ourselves which guide people to achieving larger-scale things I think.
 By self-actualisation, I mean being in the state of living your life according to how you want to live your life, rather than alienating your highest expectations and hopes from your reality. It's surprising to me how this is such an important thing, yet so overlooked. People assume that people act in ways which are in-line with how they want to live, but you find upon a closer look that people act on desires that aren't even equivalent to what they 'really' want. They give into some sort of pragmatism. Things are the way they are, and it's easiest to live by submitting to the nature of the world, so I'm fine with it.
And, the consequence of acting upon desires that your real self, hidden somewhere under layers of protection, and ignorance, is turning into something you fail to acknowledge as yourself.
How can we love this thing which strays us further away from our happiness each day?
I'm convinced that we can come up with identities, or characters in place of ourselves, and try to manoeuvre reality with this fictional idea. Eventually, we realise that this identity is a fictional creation when it's clear that it no longer helps us cope.
Hiroto’s Voicy (2020/07/31)
“Today is Nao's birthday, we will have live broadcast tonight and I think it'll be nice to celebrate it with everyone so I haven't said anything yet to Nao.”
Disclaimer [I’m translating for fun and self-learning purposes. If you listen to the Voicy and happen to find some mistakes, please feel free to correct me☀]
Note: On July 31st, Hiroto updated twice in the morning and at night 😂 this one is morning edition.  He sounded so cheerful it made me felt energetic in the morning! ☀ The talk is about how you can keep celebrating your birthday in a good condition. He's very well-informed about anything!
Hiroto started off with a light talk about how he updated Voicy everyday since June because emergency declaration has been lifted. But recently, since the Corona virus infection cases number have been increasing again, it stopped somehow. Hiroto wanted to update yesterday but since he had recording to concentrate on, he couldn't get off his hand. He worked with the sound engineers, stayed up late in the recording location, he was thinking about updating before or during the recording but he couldn't find time. Instead, Hiroto managed to do great job on the recording and he wanted everyone to wait for it! Yesterday he was doing recording for Nao's song. He had so much fun and described the song as fresh and very teenage-like. The song made you want to say, "Band is fun afterall!"
The song is very straightforward, maybe it's because Nao's pureness that is really different compared to him. During the recording, Hiroto felt "do as you like, do anything you want," vibe a lot (which he described as very Nao-like). Free-spirited and straightforward!
Today is Nao's birthday, they will have live broadcast tonight and Hiroto thinks it'll be nice to celebrate it with everyone so he hasn't said anything yet to Nao. He might talk again in Voicy tonight (which he did)  about that so this episode will be about something else.
Last night around 1 am, Hiroto came to celebrate a 52-year-old senpai, brother-like, good friend, important person of his. He has been under that person care for so long and Hiroto respects this person very much (this person seems to share the same birthdate as Nao🤔). The idea about birthday makes Hiroto excited, since you can be grateful for a lot of things for being born into this world. About that respected friend, 52 years old to him is way way to go but, half-century, don't you think half-century is awesome? It's half of 100 years!
Hiroto has known him so long, he's very healthy for a person his age and even during Corona. No matter how many times passed, Hiroto got excited about birthday, cake, and stuffs. He thought it is momentous to be able to celebrate birthdays in healthy condition. Ever since Corona happened, Hiroto always carry supplements such as Manuka Honey, Corona block in form of candy, etc. Diseases are evolving, so he said. Therefore, even if Corona around, he's ready!
On the previous episode, Hiroto talked about how he can be fully recovered from cough asthma he has been suffering from during summer time. He mentioned briefly about his steady progress in recovering from it (I will make this episode's translation later). Hiroto returned to the statement on how diseases can be evolving and he took examples. In 1991, there was carcinogenic ultraviolet radiation occurred. Official announcement was even made to forbid people from going out was released in order to protect everyone from the radiation. In middle-half 90s, there was explosion and increasing reports on allergy and atopic (predisposition towards allergy) of hay fever or pollen allergy. Hiroto thought it might have anything to do with the lack of vitamin D3 and the body condition somehow decreasing.
According to Hiroto, doctors don't really share this kind of information. He considered it wasn't particularly bad since some doctors just simply run business even though more of them work to help people sincerely. When you go to see doctor, medical examination usually only take 10 to 15 minutes and it is almost impossible to diagnose everything during that short time. Therefore, Hiroto emphasized the importance of being 'the manager' for oneself. These days, you can easily collect information. He suggested for the listeners to get to know their own body condition better and determine further action if something bad happens or something. "We are the one who know our condition," He was thinking about these while in the birthday vibe. How thoughtful! ☀😢
That's a wrap for Hiroto’s Voicy translation today! I hope you find this helpful and beneficial as our baby guitarist always be knowledgeable about things he talks about!☀☀☀
