Humayun's tomb in New Delhi was built by his widow, Bega Begum, who is also known by another name 'Haji Begum'. The name was given to her because of her pilgrimage to Mecca.

After the ascension of Akbar, it was expected that Bega Begum would go live with her stepson but instead, she chose to stay back in Delhi and build her husband's mausoleum. For this task, she had brought back masons and artisans from Arabia and a site was chosen to build the first example of a Mughal Persianate Garden tomb as a mausoleum. The design was exquisite - the first to combine elements of Central Asian architecture with Hindustani elements.

Nişan ayrıca, devlete onurlu üstün hizmette bulunan ancak statüleri onları Nişan'ın verilmesinden diskalifiye eden genç memurları ve diğer personeli ödüllendirmek için 3 ilişkili madalyaya sahiptir. Nişan, 1979'daki İslam Devrimi'nin ardından durduruldu. The Crown 5x07: Princess Diana's Sneaky Date Night

The Crown is rightly praised for re-creating epic royal events. But sometimes the playful, down-to-earth moments in the show give us just as much insight into life inside the confines of palace walls – and how good it might feel to escape them.

So did the real Princess Diana cut loose and mingle with ordinary people? We may never know for sure, but according to a friend, she had done it before. Stewart Pearce, also a royal biographer, shared that the Princess did sneak out of Kensington Palace in disguise to meet him at the movies, and no-one suspected it was her.

Dr Hasnat Khan, Diana's former boyfriend, has hardly spoken publicly about their two year relationship, but provided further detail during a 2004 inquest into Diana's tragic death. Dr Khan told police that before their break up the couple enjoyed doing 'everyday things' together. Their dates included visiting a jazz club and a pub:-

"Diana asked if she could order the drinks because she had never done so before. She really enjoyed the experience and chatted away happily to the barman."

The Crown will continue Princess Diana's story in its final season, with the first four episodes exploring events surrounding her death and the shock which followed.

"বিলাই আর পুরুষ মানুষ এই দুই জাতের কোনো বিশ্বাস নাই। দুইটাই ছোকছুকানি জাত।"

অনেক দিন পর একটি বই শেষ করার আনন্দ পেলাম। বাংলা বই পড়ার আনন্দটাই মনে হয় সেরা। নিজের ভাষায় একটা বই; মনে মনে অনবরত অন্য ভাষা থেকে বাংলায় অনুবাদ করার প্রয়োজন থাকে না। এক পলকে আস্তা একটা পেইজ পড়ে ফেলার মজা থেকে অনেকদিন বঞ্চিত থাকলেও আবার সেই আনন্দটা ফিরে পেয়েছি। বাংলায় পড়ার মতো যদি টাইপ করাটাও সহজ হতো তাহলে হয়তো আরো আগে এইটা লেখতে বসতাম।

হুমায়ূন আহমেদ এর বইগুলোর একটা আজব, অনেকটা নাটকীয় একটা প্রবাহ দেখা যায়। ২২০ পেইজ এ নিমিষে কিছু চরিত্রের ২০ বছর কীভাবে কেটে গেল, সেটা বুঝার আগেই বই শেষ। দুঃসহ পরিস্থিতির ভারাক্রান্ত একটি পরিবার, যাদের বাবা নিখোঁজ- তাদের বড় হয়ে ওঠার সুন্দর এবং মানবিক একটি গল্প উপস্থিত হয়ে উঠে এই উপন্যাসে। বই এর নাম এর মতো পাঠক হিসেবে আমিও অপেক্ষা করতে লাগলাম, আর বই এর অন্যান্য সব চরিত্রের মতো আমার অপেক্ষাও ভিন্ন কিছু নিয়ে। দুঃখ কষ্ট আলাদা হলে মানুষ যে একে অপর থেকে কতটা কাছে থেকেও দূরে অবস্থান করে, তা সুরাইয়া ও তার ছেলে ইমন এর সম্পর্কে স্পষ্ট দেখা যায়। স্বামী হারিয়ে যাওয়ার বেদনায় আর অপেক্ষায় থাকা সুরাইয়াকে দেখতে থাকা ইমন যেন তার বাবা-মা দুজনকে একসাথে হারিয়ে ফেলেছে। আবার নিত্য সাধারণ ঘটনা গুলোর মধ্য দিয়ে বই-এর কঠিন কঠিন অমানবিক চরিত্রগুলোকে আস্তে আস্তে মানবিক করে তোলার সৌন্দর্য উপভোগ করার আলাদা একটা মজা আছে। slice of life এর সাথে এইটাকে তুলনা করা ভুল হবে বলে মনে হয় না।

বই এর নাম অপেক্ষা অথচ শুরু থেকে শেষ পর্যন্ত কত চরিত্র হারিয়ে গেল। একটি মুহূর্তে তারা অনেক গুরুত্বপূর্ণ, আবার পরেই জীবনের আবহমান প্রকৃতিতে তারা হারিয়ে যায়। বইটি তাদের জন্য আর অপেক্ষা করে না, অপেক্ষা করে শুধু তারাই যারা তাদেরকে ভুলতে চায় না। যেন মানুষকে ভুলে যাওয়াটা একটা অপরাধ। কেউ মনে রাখতে চায় সারাজীবন, আর কেউ ভুলে যেতে চায় সাথে সাথে। আমাদের সাধারণ জীবনের এত কাছে থাকা বলেই হয়তো এই বইটি আমার এত ভালো লেগেছে।

হিমু আর মিসির আলির মতো চরিত্রগুলো এখন ঝাপসা মনে হয়, তবে আবার মনে করার চেষ্টা করলে হয়তো খারাপ লাগবে না। চেষ্টা করে দেখা যায়।

সময় যাচ্ছে, সময় কমছে। অপেক্ষার পালা শেষ হতে হয়তো সময় নেই আর খুব একটা। আখতার স্যার এর কথাটা মাথায় বাজে যে - "সময় গেলে সাধন হবে না।" সময় আর অপেক্ষা আসলেই মানুষজনকে নানা ভাবে বদলে দেয়। বদলে যাওয়ার এই আকস্মিক সৌন্দর্য নিয়ে লেখা হুমায়ূন আহমেদ এর অপেক্ষা।
