im rewatching doomsday (comps of all povs of course) and. yeah i just.. feel bad for the lmanburgians. i dont know how i could just. say these people deserved it, when they all sound, panicked and desperate and so so fucking sad. long long ramble under the cut as i recount the events and pick out a bunch of little things

even the day before then is painful. ranboos panic room. ranboo and tubbos talk (tubbo admitting that hes wrong, saying he believes that history is repeating itself and trusting ranboo because he believes in his loyalty), fundy showing the ring toss. tubbos surprise at being told to kill dream before stating that quackity would be in control if he didnt (god, did he plan to fail?). tommy being so so excited. everyone playing ring toss and cheering on jack. tommy still believing in tubbo. tubbo panicking. ranboo and tommy and techno talking, ranboo giving them info. dream placing walls and quackity instructing tubbo on where to kill dream. dream lying about the community house. the entire community house debacle. just, everything.

and then doomsday itself. having to frantically get there because it started early, tubbo only having diamond armor to protect him, fundy standing still after he sabotaged them. tubbo and ranboos genuine despair about the apiary.

tubbo eventually going nonverbal and actively putting himself in danger, not even moving away from techno at first and getting in the way of the firework launcher. tubbo trying to save tommy from the fireworks, ponks broken "dont come over here!" after she was trying to save his cat, tommys face falling and desperate attempts at convincing techno, ranboo going "its all gone", niki spiralling and silently burning down the tree, quackitys pure anger. all the death messages.

jack going "what is there left to protect", tommy brokenly trying to accept that its gone as tubbo and quackity blankly do accept it. jack going "i lost everything again". tommy desperately trying to understand dream, on the verge of tears as he asks why dream didnt just hurt him. his low health and food as hes unable to do anything anymore, his quiet gasp as he spots ghostbur, tubbos tiny shake of his head when dream says dream and tommys story wont be over.

tubbo and quackity breaking the repeaters. ghostburs "i didnt even know we were fighting". ghostbur finding out phil let friend die, hes pained "phil? but i- i gave, i gave phil to look after. and dream found me friend, and technoblade said we were friends", tommys pained talk about technoblade. "we were never his friend. to him, all of this was just an act of politics, an act of clout and a-a social ladder, and you won't remember. tubbo you will, and to you big q, this was a friendship. but to technoblade, this was a ladder. and techno climbed to the tippity talk. do you wanna know the only way you can go? on the ladder? -- and once you reach the top of the ladder tubbo, you can only go down."

quackity asking to sing the anthem again, him strumming as ghostbur sings (and tubbo and tommy joining in). ghostbur forgetting the second verse because it blew up. quackity remembering it, them stumbling through it. tommys "tubbo? im so so sorry", tubbos quiet "its okay." the four all singing together. tubbo looking at the lava with an ender pearl in his hand, tommy correcting quackity and going "our l'manburg". ghostburs speech about friend, about people not taking him seriously just because he has memory loss.

meanwhile.. phil and techno were laughing. cracking jokes. phil mocks them as he spawns withers on the apiary, going "ohhh noo not the bees!". techno shouts at tommy and shoots at him and tubbo. he kills jack and doesnt even notice that it was one of his lives lost. jacks death itself proves that it doesnt take any particular intent, doesnt have to mean anything to the killer. techno and phil were willing to kill people. it would be foolish of them to act as if there were no risks in the terms of canon lives, especially with phil. phil doesnt take ghostbur seriously, treats his despair as an opportunity to drill in a lesson. the most either of them lost was some of the dogs and used up potions, fireworks, and wither skulls

and then theres dream. dream whose been harming the l'manburgians since the beginning, who had taken tubbo hostage, offered eret a chance to betray them all, who had been the man in tommys walls and offering money to tubbo and jack to try and get them to destroy things, who tried to get tommy to kill tubbos villagers. dream, who took tommys discs over and over, who killed tommy twice in one day, who stopped caring about his friends that loved him and were so so loyal. dream, who helped schlatt and pushed wilbur deeper into his spiral, who even then tried to manipulate tommy.

dream, who helped destroy l'manburg the first and second time, who took advantage of tubbo so he could have a premeditated kidnapping of tommy. dream, who abused tommy, physically, psychologically, emotionally. dream, who degraded tubbo and had taken ranboos memory book (which btw, since ranboos memory loss counts as a mental disability with the memory book as his aid, thats dream taking the thing that aids ranboo in dealing with his disability).

dream, who had been the reason l'manburg was created. dream, who got to destroy l'manburg three times. dream won. and techno and phil dont regret it, dont care.

maybe l'manburg was never meant to be. and sure, it started with stealing and an attempt to monopolize on potions but. that wasnt even l'manburg then, was it? it was just wilbur and tommy having fun. l'manburg came after. after the police hurt them. l'manburg started as a silly little revolution, led by a naïve man who thought he could win wars by saying no. it was a place for a family, a place for them to escape from dream. it was a place to try and escape the harm of those outside the walls. it was meant to be safe, even if those against them made it hard to be. it was made from love. it was meant to be happy. it was a symphony, however unfinished.

so. i don't know. i just feel, bad. they never really won, did they? tragedy after tragedy, death after death, destruction after destruction, betrayal after betrayal, hurt after hurt. and now what's left of them, really? out of the founders, erets doing the best and even shes doing awful, forever trying to make up for what he did. tubbos paranoia led him to developing nukes in a desperate attempt to stay safe, because he was taught to stay quiet and keep his emotions to himself, because his death was "justified", because nukes and walls and weapons are the only way he can feel safe anymore.

tommy went through months of abuse, lost all of his lives and suffered upon coming back, suicidal but unable to bring himself to do it because limbo is worse, feeling lost and like he has no family anymore other than wilbur, who he knows is hurting him but cant bring himself to leave, who loved lmanburg so so dearly and only wanted a home, still doesnt have one (tommy from everywhere, tommy from nowhere at all). niki who loved lmanburg and wilbur so much that it hollowed her out and made her bitter and shes so used to being spoken over that all she can think to do is raise her voice and get pissed, who cant see wilbur as a good person anymore because shes hurt and hasnt truly recovered and she doesnt know how to cope without being angry.

jack manifold feels forgotten, hes lost all his lives and crawled out of hell and no one truly noticed, he doesnt even believe that niki really cares, hes desperate and has made his purpose to be spiteful and angry because he cant deal with the emptiness that comes when he realizes theres no point. fundys desperate to have friends, family, a partner, anyone thatll love him, anyone thatll keep him safe, slowly killing himself with cigarettes and disowned because of giving too little too late, because he was too little too late.

and wilburs lost himself. spiraling, paranoid. a young, naïve man who wanted to fight swords with words, who wanted to impress his father, who wanted a nation of his own to feel safe, who was so effected by erets betrayal that he cant trust anyone but himself, whose possessive nature eats him from the inside out, desperate for control and unable to let go of the only person he knows loves him unconditionally

all because outside forces kept pushing, kept destroying, kept ruining them and hurting them and traumatizing them and taking away their homes and pets and loved ones. and i just. cant feel happy for the ones that hurt them, i cant feel victorius, triumphant, any of that. i just feel bad that the l'manburgians never got to be a family. i know they arent the best people but shit, i love them anyways, love them because theyre flawed and because theyre *people*, people who tried so so hard and got pushed so so much and. fuck, i cant be happy that the people who loved nature and play fought and laughed by campfires and read poetry and re-enacted theatre and loved each other and wanted to *live* (even if they were willing to die, if it meant giving everyone else a chance).. lost. they lost.

canonical years of work down the drain in one day. records of history gone, now only remembered in full by a traumatized teenager who was taught not to talk about his negative emotions, and even he misremembers some parts. they didnt even lose fairly. they had no chance. they couldnt have prepared for withers, for tnt rain, for the hounds. they were poor, weaker than their opponents, sabotaged by one of their own. thats.. tragic.

doomsday was a tragedy. i cant agree that it was deserved. i cant agree that they had it coming, that they deserved to lose homes and pets and limbs and lives and land because they werent the greatest people around.

a small country of less than 10 people (at both creation and destruction) now a giant crater in the ground, remnants of a parisitic egg taking over the land. and it wasnt even lost fairly. three people were stronger than an entire nation, even with all of its allies. two anarchists working with an abusive tyrant. so, no. doomsday wasnt deserved. people dont deserve tragedy. there were better ways, i truly cant be happy that the way chosen was violence. i cant.

l'manburg's citizens deserved better. they really did. the ends dont justify the means. and god, am i fucking tired of "justice". if justice means choosing violence over love and respect and caring about those less strong than you, i dont wanna hear about it. fuck that man, id rather love and be loved than constantly give a shit about making up for hurting others by getting hurt, thats stupid and cruel and i cant see it as okay on a moral level. not when the people that got hurt deserved to be loved and cared about and protected and *talked to* instead of constantly shot down.

of course for the narrative i can enjoy violence and characters getting hurt and i do like how "real" it all is, the despair and dissonance in tone and how terrifyingly messy it all is. out of story perspective- honestly rather cool even if it makes me feel bad. in story perspective- holy fucking shit no that wasnt deserved and god i hope everyone hurt will be able to heal and learn to love and be loved again because thats such a terrifying thing to go through. from a detached pov i can appreciate the insight into everyone involved and i like the plotlines that came from it, but from a compassionate pov i just wish the l'manburgians were allowed to be happy and treated as equals so they didnt have to go through all of this

Adrien and juleka: (model buds, ok. Adrien supports julekas career and juleka teaches adrien the fine art of ✨ Teenage Rebellion ✨. They also play music together and have fun makeovers. She doesn't force him to be anything or do anything and she doesn't put him on a pedestal, he can be a little more himself around her)

Alya and kim: (a dangerous duo because they talk SO MUCH SHIT. they turn into gossip trains the minute they enter each other's radar. The kind of friendship where, when anybody does something stupid, they look to at each other like a camera on the office ((unless its kim doing something stupid, then alya is forced to break the fourth wall)) )

Rose and kim: (look they get along better than expected and shes the lightest person in class so he can just pick her up and put her on his shoulder and run around. I hc them as unlikely childhood friends who were maybe neighbours and they did a bunch of stupid shit together)

Max and sabrina: (they were enemies, as kids, every annual science fair event they were situated opposite each other. They become begrudging allies. Now in their late teens, they're just gamer buds who play until 1 in the morning and have random arguments about math and video game lore. They also watch the same tv shows. Absolute nerd out and it shows.)

Max and alya: (look they're both computer kids. Alya codes, max builds, and together they foster the stupidest robot designs they can possibly come up with. They Also just like working together because they can bounce ideas off each other. Max gets alya in the zone, and alya supplies a fresh perspective to maxs issues. Cue nino in the background but instead of being a cool STEM person hes building a tower out of staplers)

Mylene and chloe: (ok i know what ur thinking. What?? But chloe starts getting into activism bc she's fixated on bees and mylene shows her the ropes and she softens chloe while chloe teaches mylene how to harden up. They have a makeover but instead of making mylene glamorous, they dress chloe in Proper Protesting Attire. Also they totally do crimes together when the government process to be useless)

Nathaniel and marinette: (i don't think this is that underrated but just!! They're the true weebs of the grade!! They've been watching sailor moon together since they were kids!! They made their own ocs and drew art of them when they were 12!!! They both watch other anime now but they both have a softness 4 magical girl shows and they're still good art friends to this day "look tokyo mew mew just hits the emotional beats better than Tokyo Ghoul-" )

Ivan and kagami : (theyre the big tough people of the group, nobody mess w them, except when theyre alone together and they faun over their crushes and go to festivals and wear cat ears and ask for outfit advice on dates they're just!!! Wingman and wingwoman they are HOMIES!!! They are talking up their friends to the crush, sprinkling in how they're really cool and nice shirt huh (i picked it mwahahaha). kagami loves the drums n respects the skill needed to play them and ivan thinks fencing is just fucking awesome)

Lila and sabrina (the secret understanding and code, a silent agreement, a sisterhood that only comes from 2 people who used to be horse girls. Only they know what its like. They don't talk about it but they don't need to. They can tell. Don't fuck with them. )

Okay so I have actual theories about TBOBF which I don't normally have.

Spoilers for TBOBF, all episodes at the time of this post (last was episode 5).

So. Theories.

My thoughts on how the next few (and the first episode of the Mandalorian) are gonna go:

And quick note: I'm glad the Armorer said Din's name because despite other people's beliefs about the children of the watch, I don't think it's a cult and I also don't want Din to have to just reject his beliefs entirely because of the armor thing, and I call Bo biased. I also don't like Bo, and I have seen clone wars and rebels, so. I know it's fiction, I do, but it rubs me wrong to just disrespect someone's beliefs and traditions like that for no reason when I could just say Mando.

Anyways.

The next episode of BOBF is going to be a time jump of sorts. We will not see Grogu but it is assumed Din has and has returned since. This will be Boba either catching Din up OR the set-up of plans discussed off screen. Probably...both, actually.

The last episode is going to be the final cumulattion of everything that was set up. War against the Pykes starts in Ernest and Boba wins. This is the plot thread of the Pykes tying up. This will be the episode it happens - it wouldn't surprise me if it's a long one. I'm not complaining if it is. I think Boba might finally reclaim some of his Mandalorian heritage? But I also think he's going to do something Major in regard to the Tusken tribes on the planet in regards to making people respect their rights and soviergnty. I can't spell that word but anyways. This'll be that plot thread tying up. I think maybe as a result of some of the reforms I suspect he'll enact it might tie the bike gang into it - setting up a better future for them as well. Not sure but yeah.

And I think Din will be there but he will actually be a side character, following Boba's lead and being the "muscle". Maybe something about the Darksaber will come up, but idk. Maybe he lets Boba borrow it?

I also think Boba knows more about the Mandalorian clans that we've thought, since he's actually....not commented on Din's sect, while he has made derogatory comments to Bo's. I think he knew the Watch existed, anyways.

So anyways, BOBF.

Onto the Mandalorian. This, I think, will start with the time jump. We might get a basic rundown on what happened in BOBF, or we might not. This could actually be part of that arc in BOBF, maybe tying the two together? Either way, first or second episode will be the time jump space - visiting Grogu. I suspect we will get some Boba, just for some narrative cohesiveness, but idk.

Anyways, after, we will return to the, and I'm dubbing it now, will tag with it, the Mandalore plot. I do think we'll get a return to Mandalore - and idk why but I have a feeling maybe it's less in shambles than we think? Imperial propoganda would definitely be a thing that I could see - after all, if Mandalorians don't have a place to go to unite, what few remain anyways, theyre easier to pick off and easier to keep from rebelling. But they could be lying and so Mandalorians who are in hiding won't risk it, hence not having updated information. And so maybe it's not habitable but the mines and the water are probably findable. And I do think we'll see that. I want to see that, actually. I want them to do a plot about faith that is important to someone and they show part of the redemption process. I mean we have it for the Jedi dammit I want it for the Mandalorians. I don't want Din to be made to give up his faith and I want them to be like "no there is no redemption". I think they had so few cases of armor being removed that it got forgotten/wasn't talked about because it didn't happen/the person in question died before they were able to return - the safety issue is a big part of it - but I don't think it wasn't accounted for.

And also if the Children of the Watch are a shoot off of Death Watch, then Paz is just straight up Death Watch. No ifs about it, he's the second to last major member - and unlike Bo, I don't think he ever turned against them. He's more fanatical than anyone in the room and he is not someone to side with. And his opinion doesn't mean jack shit.

Anyways, I think we'll see Mandalore.

And I think Din will become Mand'alor and I'm hoping that we'll get the first Mandalorian Jedi since Tarre Vizla in Grogu. Especially with that beskar gift. Like, damn. Can you imagine???

Idk what they'll do after he's Mandalore but ...we might get a political drama esque show out of it, actually. Mandalorians make really good political dramas.

But yeah, I have actual theories. And like, it wouldn't shock me if they do something similar to BOBF where an entire episode is about that plot, and not Din's. Maybe it's the first episode actually, but idk.

Alright yall theyre all students at the big university in ba sing se

Sokka is a political science/environmental science double major (hes so smart), suki is a public policy major with a womens study minor (hell yea), and zuko is psychology major and art history minor (hes a baby)

Sokka wants to help better his community, and climate change still exists in this universe soooooo when hes stuck between picking two majors hes like Why Not Bot

Suki doesn’t know what she wants to do w her life so she picked a widely applicable but boring major and shes a huge feminist so at least some of her classes are interesting

Zuko…. Wants to do something where he helps kids so hes kinda thinking about being a child psychologist? Or maybe sumn in social work… he wants to help kids that went thru trauma like he and his sister did

They meet… at a party… but its not just any party… its tophs 21st birthday party and everyone is just. Shitfaced. Zuko is invited by Aang bc they’re in the same religious arts class n that’s how he meets sokka and suki who are the champion beer pong team. By the time everybody leaves to go to the bars sokka is so drunk hes crying about how much he loves his friends and then zuko and suki take him to get tacos

Zuko works part time at his uncle’s tea shop close to campus and one day the next week suki walks in! and shes like hey I didn’t know u worked here! And zuko is like hi :D yeah! So sokka and suki start hanging out at the tea shop during zukos shifts and work on their homework and keep him company. He likes them both a lot but theyre casually dating and hes like :(( sigh

Soooo lets skip past lots of angst and pining and FINALLY sokka and suki clearly communicate they both like zuko and want to be with him and zuko is like….sounds fake but ok

They start things off slow at first like going to get food and watching Netflix on the couch and ending up in a cuddle pile and going to the park to feed the turtle ducks and so on

Suki is captain of the roller derby team the Kyoshi Warriors and they always go support her bouts when it’s a home match

Sukis roommate ty lee is also on the team and when zuko first goes to a match he’s surprised to see his high school gf mai there, who is ty lee’s gf!!! So they all hang out and support their kick ass gfs

Sokka drinks too much beer and gets drunk and almost gets kicked out for shit talking the other team too loudly

After the Kyoshi Warriors win the match, the team goes out and drinks and zuko picks suki up from the bars at like 2am and she cant stop telling him how CUTE he is and zuko is just like :)))))))))

And then they get mcdonalds

Sokka is like. Always busy bc hes a double major and a TA for two different earth science classes so hes in the library or tutoring center a lot and zuko always brings him dinner and snacks especially during midterms and finals

For Halloween they go as the powerpuff girls. Bc why not

Suki almost gets into a fight with some homophobic assholes at the bar and sokka n zuko carry her out of the bar and when theyre walking back to suki’s place she starts crying bc people are assholes and then zuko starts crying and then sokka starts crying and then they all get mcdonalds

They all take one unit pe courses together bc a) sukis gotta stay buff for derby b) both sokka and zuko have anxiety and exercise really helps and its one of the only times during the week where they can spend time together (they all have class/work at different times so its hard to get together)  

When they finally get a place together, it’s a 2 bedroom apartment bc one closet would not be enough for all three of their wardrobes

Sokka n Zuko got that Drip

Its also nice to have an extra bedroom in case toph or aang get too drunk to walk home

Iroh stops by once or twice a week to drop off extra baked goods from the tea shop even though zuko always brings some home after his ship

(when zuko tells him that hes in a poly relationship, iroh does not Get It. But who is he to judge now that his nephew is so happy? Plus he loves having sokka and suki around so)

Life in that apartment is v happy bc even though theyre all stressed out college students, there is so much love 2 go around

They love napping on the couch together

Zuko and sokka love cooking n meal prepping together

Suki loves leaving cute little love notes around the house

Suki and sokka love showing zuko movies

Like for example – zukos never seen dirty dancing. That shocking revelation leads to all three of them attempting the Lift – with suki holding zuko’s waist above her head, and sokka behind her holding onto zuko’s hands so they don’t lose balance. It lasts for a minute and ends with them on the floor crying with laughter

So yea basically…..they love each other n they live happily ever after

first of all the teacher/parent trope is WEIRD AS HELL

dont even get me started on a few. other ones. 

but IF YOU WANT IT DONE RIGHT (idk if i would write it bc i would want it to be perfect but maybe i am the pal for the job) 

1) (forgive me for this indulgence) taako is a primary teacher. we’re talkin little ones. you’re gonna be like what the fuck. and so would he. but also i dont think he would like teens as much as he thought and probably figured out after his first year that some of the big kids are mean little fuckers and when you cannot call them mean little fuckers they get hard to deal with and also little kids are the greatest and so full of wonder for the world and you get to take them from knowing BASICALLY NOTHING to being LITTLE READERS and the first time taako experiences this he almost considers religion

but definitely not kindergarten. He cannot. Nope. 

AND KRAVITZ, WELL, HE’S ON THE OTHER SIDE COMPLETELY. he’s that high school teacher that doesn’t even necessarily want to interact with the freshmen, but he’s much beloved. he teaches english and drama and is also in charge of the drama club and he has many strong, strong opinions on shakespeare and he’s the one all the baby pre-out gays latch onto hard 

2) and they work for the same school district and their bubbles barely even touch and they kind of like it that way and they meet at a big district meeting and make dumb jokes the whole time and they’re a team for a dumb kahoot quiz bc kravitz doesnt have a smart phone, he’s got a fucking ancient nokia with a slidey keyboard which he asserts is too much for him even. anyway they play kahoot together as a team and they get incredibly competetive and they ALMOST WIN and they have STRONG OPINIONS ABOUT IT and taako looks at kravitz and he’s like. hey how about a drink sometime

3) and they exchange numbers and they go out for a drink maybe something really dorky like a trivia night at a bar and this time they KICK ASS TOGETHER and they get a tiny little trophy and decide they have to have joint custody of the damn thing until they win another one. anyway this isn’t a meetcute au this is an incredibly self indulgent established relationship au

4) and kravitz grades papers on the COUCH and taako teases him and cooks DINNER and they live together and theyre HAPPY and theyre domestic as hell and people either want to be them or have no idea theyre together and they come home and collapse on the couch together and fall asleep at like nine pm after a glass of wine and a half on a wednesday and they are happy 

5) and theyre in love love love and they love what they do and they enjoy it so much and they have someone to talk to about teacher things and not annoy and taako listens to the drama club drama and kravitz watches taako light up as he talks about his lowest kid finally getting all 26 letters, kravitz, every last damn letter!!!!!!! letter names, we’re still working on the letter sounds, but theyre on their way babe and theyre gonna be blending by the end of the year if he has anything to say about it and he’s gonna make cookies to bring to the staff lounge because he needs attention and he packs lunches for himself and kravitz so kravitz eats his vegetables and kravitz makes them coffee in the morning and sends taako with two tall travel mugs every day and theyre so in love, so, so in love, and sometimes taako comes and picks him up from work not because of car reasons but just because they like each other and theyre so happy and in the SUMMERS

So I tried explaining bkdk to a friend who's also watching it and I freaked out over the newest chapter and called it a win cause ya know it literally was and this mf really said oh wow he called him his name s o significant and I was like it is tho like asgjdrishaia and then he's just like yea no it's an apology he should've said and that doesn't make it anything and I just- makes me want to strangle him sometimes and makes me never want to talk ships cause the complexity and intimacy of relationships like that are just shallowly looked at

Sounds like your friend struggles with resentments in his own life, probably some very important apology he wants but never got.

Perhaps he lacks the cultural contexts? Names, especially first names, are a very important and a rather intimate thing in Japan

I also think people forget its only been a year since they started UA, and about 2 since the sludge incident. As important as their development is they’ve also been dealing with a lot of other heavy things

Such as not dying, recovering from severe physical and mental damages, and coming to grasps with the fact that everything they though they understand about society and their place in it is wrong while it continually crumbled around them leaving them not only uprooted but with no firm idea of where they’ll be replanted and THEYRE ONLY IN HIGH SCHOOL

Idk about y’all but when I was in hs kids were still for the most part really immature and struggling to handle their emotions and sense of self. Like the fact that Katsuki faced these intense feelings instead of continuing to shut them out and skirt around Deku but instead actively prioritized learning to face them and understand them and Deku better is amazing.

That he did it well enough to know that he need to show changed behavior before an apology is outstanding, because Deku is too forgiving an apology would be brushed of with no expectations and no accountability required

My current best friend was my bully for all 4 years, and it was for similar reasons as Katsuki, he simply couldn’t understand me and it unsettled him so getting a rise out of me was funny to him and made him feel idk more in control.

I was a lot like Deku, overly polite, shy and awkward, and just not a great fit in a redneck small town. I also could and did get away murder in that school, dress code class times whatever didn’t really apply to me for some reason.

Like I was late to every class but never received a single detention. I’m also kinda asocial and not generally interested in the existence of anyone who isn’t in my preferred social circle, which is a bad trait when your face blind and bad with names.

I’d been going to school with the guy since elementary school but I didn’t even know he existed until 9th grade when he started picking on me.

We had 98 kids in our graduating class, but beginning of freshman year I couldn’t have told you the guys name. Turns out we had overlapping friend groups our entire lives. He was tired of being nonexistent, and discovered that I have a terrible startle reflex like call my name and I’ll jump 10 feet and maybe even scream terrible

But after hs we ended up going to the same party and hanging out all night and getting to actually know each other, and it’s been almost 10 years since then and there’s no one we trust more than each other 🥰

It wasn’t the apology that changed my mind about him, he apologized at the end of senior year but I never took his behavior that seriously and always understood that his behavior came from personal problems that didn’t involve me, so his apology wasn’t that big a deal to me, it was accepted and discarded in the same breath really. It was seeing him as more of a person that night and enjoying his company at the party that made me care and when he apologized again I finally took it seriously and saw him as a friend.

There’s tons of “what if’s” and “should haves” that Katsuki has but I think he approached his apology the best he could with what he had, it was a major win for them both. And I feel sorry that your friends not being able to see that 😕
