Three simple words, alongside a smile that felt like the sun coming out after a storm. Arven held his arms out invitingly, gesturing a few times in a “come here” gesture. “Might make you feel better.”

“How can I turn down such a possibility?” You laughed as you walked into his arms, tearing up as they closed around you, gently squeezing as they cemented you to him. He was the perfect balance of soft and firm and smelled like herbs. The hand between your shoulders moved in slow, rhythmic circles, soothing you as he rocked you back and forth, humming a happy little tune.

“There we are, nothing a good hug can’t fix. That’s something Mabosstiff taught me, you know?” He rested his head on top of yours, voice barely above a whisper. “Whenever I got really upset about something, he’d climb on top of me and just laid there. He wouldn’t move until I was feeling better. He still does it these days.” Reaching up, he wiped the stray tears rolling down your cheeks, his touch feather soft. “Sometimes you just need someone big and hairy to hug you until you’re not upset anymore.”

“I guess you work out then.” You teased, laughing when he poked your sides. “I’m kidding! Really though…thank you, Arven.” You pressed into him closer, hugging him around the middle with as firm of a grip as you could make. “Not just for this, but for being here with me. It’s hard traveling alone…things get lonely. I’m happy you’ve become your friend.”

“Oh, don’t you make me cry! This cave is salty enough!” Arven laughed, voice a little tight as he blinked rapidly. He leaned away so he could wipe away the last of your tears, smiling when you scrunched some. “Good. Now that we’ve hugged it out, let’s eat. Hungry?”

In response, your stomach growled, making you both laugh.

“I’ll take that as a yes.”

Hermit Hunters Gang I absolutely adore the fact that Iskall is running vaults with his Elytra

Because 1. That’s a banger art idea and I’m gonna draw it once I learn to draw 😂

And 2. He went down to half a heart in the vault he ran with Etho and anyone who’s ever watched Iskall play Vault Hunters knows for a fact that even if he dies due to the Wings he is NOT going to give them up until he’s no longer having fun using them in the vaults

And I just love that Iskall will try out insane things in the Vaults just because he can and they bring him joy, that’s why it’s never boring to watch him do vault runs!

And I love the fact that he can do stupid things like that in the vaults to make early game still a challenge for himself whilst he tries to stay at a similar level to the other hermits because risking death for his own entertainment AND for the sake of the other Hunters is just such a Iskall thing to do!!!

nikolai loves his mama’s special piroshkis the most. 26 year old murderer occasionally visits his mother’s house to eat her homemade food. after he leaves he goes back to his typical gruesome activity ❤️ what a man

His mama’s piroshkis are his favorite food and whenever he comes to visit her, she makes them for him <3 Nikolai probably dragged Fyodor along once to eat with them and his mom was babying Fedya just like she’s babying Kolya, telling him to eat more because he’s so scrawny and petting his hair (Mr. Mommy Issues Fyodor excused himself to go to the bathroom and cried because he couldn’t process the affection.)

Nikolai eats them before big missions, munching his precious mama’s food before leaving to commit murder, or he comes over for dinner after slaughtering people (he washes off the blood first, his mom doesn’t know about his occupation.)
