Offer and demand
For comparison purposes, kindly find below what a devoted Ozzie fan will have to be prepared to pay for a pic with one or several of the participants to the Hublander Australia 'A Visit to The Highlands' event, this week-end, in Sydney and Melbourne:
Tumblr media
On top of that, there is an extra option I have never seen for European events (and correct me if I am wrong). You can buy signed personal items and autographed pics for somebody who cannot attend (personal items cost a little extra, no idea why). Here is an example, for S:
Tumblr media
Just to have an idea, remember (I will always LOL at this word, from now on, and that's really a shame, because I use it a LOT, irl) these are the prices in Australian dollars. A pic with S would cost you around 115 euros or 125 USD and the most expensive group pic would lighten your purse by around 360 USD or 333 euros.
All this, like for the Paris Landcon, are on top of what you pay for access and the rest of the side gigs, depending of your tier of choice. Those can set you anywhere from 200 Australian dollars for the standard entry ticket to 1800 Australian dollars for the Platinum Tier, where I hope S will pour you a dram or something - nope, not really, that was really a cheap joke, forget about it. You do the math, it's easy.
If you take the time to compare with the Paris Landcon, the discrepancies are clear. The Australian Lollapalooza easily costs the double. But before you screech and wail, do remember two things:
Prices in Australia and France are not really the same. Same goes for the disposable wages of the people buying these tickets. Same goes for the logistical costs (venue rent, talent accommodation and fee, insurance - very important!, other administrative expenditures like legal costs: never forget these people also sell licensed merchandise, which comes at an extra cost itself, etc).
Also, event organization is a business in itself. There is a market and a pool of potential clients for this type of business. Demand and offer meet (or should do so) on that market and the result of this encounter of sorts should reasonably reflect what the people are willing to pay for whatever you peddle around, from bagels to Scottish fantasies. Too expensive - nobody will come. Too cheap - the talent you hope to attract would, in all likelihood, not show up, especially if it takes 10 to 20 hours of flight to get there.
Now add to this the need to satisfy just about everyone in the room. The simple need to make sure that the person who paid 200 dollars for the basic ticket would not feel left behind those who paid nine times (yes, nine times, for Australia, land of plenty) more. That is not an easy task and those figures you have seen are not what you may think they do represent, on face value.
Last, but not least, a wee secret: the bulk of the talent's fee comes from those autographed pics you bought extra, the Q&A sessions and the Platinum Meet and Greets - isn't that a strange form of Marxist distribution circuit (but I digress, forgive the scholar). The rest is probably going to cover operational costs.
Nobody robbed you. Nobody forced you or hypnotized you. You will meet the real people, not some denizen of Abuja who pretends he is Mr. Blue Eyes. And S will not get richer after Melbourne, only more tired.
You're welcome.
PS: merci à toi; chérie, pour l'info and also a heartfelt thank you to you, New Friend on the Block. You know who you are! 😘😘😘😘❤️❤️❤️
[Edit]: @joey-baby tells me the Oz fans can buy the recording of both days. That is a local exclusive and I surely hope we'd see some of it in here. Thank you! 🙌

Tumblr media
It felt like the last day of your life.
You didn’t move from the bed for some time. Waking up within the warm circle of 049’s arms, your cheek resting against his chest, was something you never thought you would have. It also came at great cost, and you would pay it soon.
But when? When would the deed need to be carried out? Were you supposed to start immediately? Wait for instruction? It was a horrible thought, but you wished Leahy had been clearer about what exactly he wanted. It was the gaps of knowledge, the unknown parts you were supposed to guess at, that left you frozen with indecision.
049 didn’t rouse you, though he must have known you were awake. He didn’t speak, and you didn’t either. There wasn’t much left to say, but it seemed there should be. You weren’t going anywhere, so why did it feel like you were supposed to say goodbye? Express regrets and wish for things you could have done differently. It felt closer to mourning than it did waiting for an execution.
049 only stirred when the food slot opened, delivering breakfast. He carefully ran his gloved fingers along the back of your hair, his breath tickling the crown of your head.
“You should eat,” he said softly.
“I’m not hungry.”
“I assumed as much.”
You curled closer, seeking out his comfort, and then you stiffened. You sat up quickly, letting his arm fall away from your shoulders. You didn’t want him to think—you just wanted closeness, not…
With a bitter glance at the camera, you moved down to the foot of the bed and got out. The bed itself had one side pushed against the wall about midway up the room. The bookshelf was at its head, and beyond that, the desk and bathroom area. But towards the foot of the bed, in the back corner, sat the camera. It would give a perfect view of… of…
You retrieved the food tray and laid it out on the counter, leaving plenty for 049 to partake, though most days he didn’t. You forced yourself to nibble as much as you could, your stomach too much a knot to allow more than a few pieces of fruit and half a bagel. It was an unfortunate side effect of your anxiety. When you needed energy the most, that’s when your body refused to have an appetite.
049 didn’t comment on your sudden departure, and the air in the chamber was somber. That’s what it felt like, the both of you preparing for a funeral. It almost made you break the silence just to say something, even if it was mundane small talk. You wanted to ask about the medical files, or his journal, or anything at all. Something to fill the space with more than just heavy waiting.
The silence stretched on, though really it was more accurate to call it white noise. The faint hum of the fluorescent lights, the dull rumble of the air conditioner. It was the ordinary ambience of an office space minus the water cooler chatter. If you closed your eyes, you could almost imagine you were back at your old office, ignorant to a world that made little sense and held even less compassion.
Your period of waiting was interrupted by a click of the intercom. You flinched upright on a lab stool, like a rabbit hearing a gunshot in the woods, ears perked and legs tensed to leap. You’d been staring vacantly at the medical files, not reading the words or seeing the faces, and now your full attention was on the speaker in the ceiling.
“Tonight.”
That’s all they said. You couldn’t tell who the voice belonged to—not the Site Director, but the order clearly came from him.
Tonight. It had to be done tonight.
“What time is it?”
049 had been at his desk in the inner chamber, but he stood at the threshold between the chambers now.
“Ten twenty-five, AM.”
You didn’t doubt his innate ability to sense time. He was never wrong. Your stomach roiled but you kept down your meager breakfast.
The day passed with a vicious graduality. You wished they had given a specific time. Or given no time at all. It was as if this whole project was designed to break your mind as well as shred what was left of your dignity.
At some point, you put your head down on the counter, hunched over on your stool, reports forgotten. The darkness under your crossed arms was a respite from the constant fluorescent lights, a shield from the observation window. Let them see you defeated. There was something freeing about having nothing left to hide.
Time passed in a restless haze between dozing and spacing out. Two meal deliveries signaled the passing of the day, and you ignored them. 049 didn’t attempt to speak to you, perhaps knowing this quiet deprivation was what you needed. He had always been perceptive that way.
You didn’t focus on anything at all until a gentle touch grazed your arm. You didn’t flinch. There was only one person who would touch you that way, and you wouldn’t retreat from him.
“Doctor?”
You raised your head, blinking at the bright lights and bending your back to sort out the kinks. You looked over your shoulder, but 049 didn’t speak immediately. He simply studied your face, his eyes soft with concern.
“What time is it?” you asked. What else was there to track but the time?
“Ten minutes after seven.”
“Mmm. When does the sun set?”
“Half past the hour.”
Punctual as ever, your masked physician. You gave a small smile, but it felt empty. It faded as you looked past him to the open door of the inner containment chamber where you spied the bed and its innocuous dressings.
You turned back to the counter and braced your hands against it to push yourself up. No point in delaying. Sunset was the best indicator of night, and it was better to get it done and over with.
Maybe… maybe it would be easier after the first time.
You didn’t know how you managed to make it into the inner room without stumbling. Your knees were shaking, your calves constructed of gelatin, and your lungs pulled for air.
You walked toward the bed, and then past it. You turned around and walked the other way. You paced, back and forth, your breathing becoming more erratic, spots dancing in your vision.
You couldn’t do this, you couldn’t do thisyoucouldntdothisyoucou—
Something broad and dark blocked your way. Gentle hands held your shoulders in place, and 049 said, “Breathe.”
You tried to obey, but your lungs wouldn’t cooperate.
“Slowly. In… and out. As I’m doing.”
You copied his breaths, slow and steady. In for several seconds, hold, then slowly out. Repeat. Focus on his breathing and nothing else.
When your body wasn’t wound as tight as a coil, you swallowed compulsively and chanced a look. 049 met your gaze steadily. There was no fear or anger there, just the weight of his worry.
You pressed your lips together to keep them from trembling, and your voice came out a whisper.
“Is there any other way?”
It felt childish to seek comfort in this moment, but you were weak. Too weak to find a way out of this, too weak to prevent this from happening. Too weak to face this alone.
His hand cupped the side of your jaw.
“If there is, I do not see it.”
Your head dipped in agreement. This was it, then.
049 pulled you into his arms, and he held you carefully but warmly. Always so warmly.
“This isn’t the end,” he said low in your ear. “We do as they command, we survive another day on their terms, but it will not always be this way. And there are things not even they can take.”
When you pulled back there was certainty in his eyes, along with something else. An intensity buried within that stirred something inside you, and this time, you didn’t stifle it.
“Okay,” was all you said. You took his hand and led him to the bed.
You let go when you got under the covers and made room for him. You pulled off your leggings and underwear, keeping the white smock on. Fuck whoever was watching, you weren’t giving them more of a show than you had to.
049 joined you under the covers more slowly, his movements careful as he laid down. He didn’t touch you, and it took a moment to remember what he’d said before. In this area, you had more knowledge than he did, or at least more practical experience. You would have to lead.
“Do you need to get undressed?” you asked, not sure how this was supposed to work with his robes also acting as skin.
“No. This will be sufficient.”
He was on his side facing you, but he seemed indecisive. Out of his element.
You gave him a small smile only he could see and took his arm, gently tugging it toward you.
“Come here.”
He obeyed, but his movements were still cautious, testing the waters. You continued to pull, indicating you wanted him to lie on top of you, and his eyes focused on your face, uncertain.
That trepidation vanished as soon as his weight settled on you, his hips nestled between your legs. You moved them apart, making room for him. His gaze darkened and his hands curled into the sheets on either side of your shoulders.
Your smock was caught between your legs, putting a barrier between you, and you pulled it up to your stomach. 049 closed his eyes and drew in a sharp breath as your bare skin pressed against his robes.
The intercom clicked on.
“No covers.”
049’s eyes flew open, a soft growl escaping as he reached behind him to throw off the blankets from the bed. He muttered a heated, “Va te faire enculer,” in the direction of the camera.
You had no idea what he said, but you certainly liked the way the crude French rolled off his tongue.
“My… apologies,” he said, turning back to you. “I should not have lost my composure.”
You bit your tongue to keep from telling him losing his composure was necessary for what you were about to do. He would learn that soon enough.
“It’s fine.” Your voice was gravel. You cleared it. “Are you ready?”
His gaze softened, and oh, it had a dangerous affect at close distance.
“I am. Are you?”
You nodded and winced at the clinical nature of it, but that was probably the best approach. Have sex only long enough for 049 to orgasm, and then it could be done with.
Except you couldn’t stop trembling. It was equal parts anticipation and nerves. If you’d had sex semi-recently (how long had it been?), perhaps this would have been much easier. You could treat it as a chore, an item to check off your duties for the day. Or more accurately, something you had to do under threat of further torture and humiliation.
Except your body wasn’t responding as if it was under duress. The tension that had been growing each day you spent with 049 was building to a point of unbearable pressure. Your cheeks were hot, skin tingling in all the places you touched, and you could only guess what your expression looked like. With the way 049’s gaze roamed your face, taking in every detail, you were more exposed than your half-nakedness.
What did it matter how clinical you were? You ached to touch him, to be touched, and you refused to allow 049’s first moments of intimacy be cold and distant.
You hooked your arms under his shoulders, splaying your hands across his back and gently pulled him down until his chest was against yours. 049 gave a shudder when more of his weight rested on you, his breathing slightly off-rhythm.
That’s it, you thought, rubbing your hands across the back of his shoulders. Just relax.
His face pressed against the side of your cheek, the curve of his beak against your jaw, and you automatically opened your legs wider. Your heart was hammering, and the trembling was there but not as harsh. Your own body relaxed under his weight, yearning for his hands on you, but he kept them dutifully gripped into the bed sheet.
Something warm and heavy pressed against your hip. You frowned, confused as to what it was, and then understanding hit you when you shifted against it and 049 released another halting breath.
You tilted your hips up in silent permission, keeping your lips firmly closed, not knowing what sounds you would make if you opened your mouth. You wanted to take him into your hands, discover the shape of him, get him to make more of those noises that he was keeping trapped in his throat.
But you kept your hands on his back, and 049 adjusted himself, moving one arm between you. He grabbed himself to line up with your entrance, but he hesitated, even now with his eyes dark and his voice a rasp.
“Are you sure?”
You made a kind of strangled noise and nodded.
His eyes grew darker, a new hunger in their depths, and he lined up with you, the head of his cock pushing against your folds. You drew in a sharp breath. The shape was different, the head tapered, and it pressed against your entrance.
The head slipped inside with some resistance, and that’s where he couldn’t go any further. He was wider past the head, larger than a human, and you weren’t nearly wet enough yet.
“Keep going,” you grit out. You kept your face as blank as possible, but something of your pain must have shown through.
“I have- in my satchel, there are bottles. Lubricants I can retrieve—”
“No.” You gripped his arm. “No, don’t leave.”
If he left now, you’d lose your nerve. You couldn’t start this over again. You couldn’t.
“Stay,” you repeated, your voice shaking as if you were on the verge of crying. Because you were. “Please.”
He released himself, settling his weigh again as he cupped his other hand against your hair.
“I will not hurt you.”
You wanted to say he wouldn’t, or if he did, you could take it—you’d endured far worse. But you remained quiet, distracted by his thumb stroking your hair. His gaze was thoughtful, slightly off focus.
“There are… other methods I can employ to make the process smoother.”
“Okay.” You would agree to nearly anything at this point, just as long as he didn’t leave. “Whatever you want.”
Your nerves were frayed, the trembling was getting noticeable again, and you regretted not eating anything all day. You waited, not sure what to expect, but it certainly wasn’t for 049 to bring his hand towards your face. He hesitated, his thumb tracing the outline of your jaw. You searched his face questioningly, and he took a breath.
“Since I cannot do it myself, I will need you to coat my fingers with your saliva.”
Oh. Oh.
You swallowed and nodded. For having all the experience, you were the one slow to catch up, but your apprehension melted when his fingers touched your lips. The tip of your tongue tasted him without thinking.
His eyes grew sharp as he pressed his fingers past your lips into your mouth. You welcomed the intrusion, sucking the digits automatically, tasting the strange, living leather.
The pads of his fingers pressed down on your tongue. He probably wouldn’t need to do anything more than that to get you ready, but you weren’t going to stop him. Heat pooled low in your gut, fueled by his single-minded focus on your mouth.
There was no true reason for you to swirl your tongue around his fingers or to suck them down nearly to the last knuckle. No rationale behind it, yet you did it, imagining another part of him heavy and full in your mouth. 049 sucked in a breath and shifted his weight. The warmth of his cock against your leg along with the pressure in your mouth had you salivating. By the time he removed his fingers with a wet pop, they were slick with your spit.
049’s hand slipped between you again, touching your inner thigh. His fingers trailed upwards, dipping between your folds, and his fingers pressed against your clit.
Unlike when he joined you in bed, filled with uncertainty and doubt, his fingers moved with precision. Surgeon’s fingers. They pulled you apart with gentle eagerness, coaxed with deft certainty. First one finger than two circled around the sensitive nub, stimulating it into hardness with startling ease.
A surprise moan punched out of you, and you tilted your head back, fighting to control your breathing.
049 dipped his fingers down your slick folds to your entrance, prodding inside without much resistance before dragging his fingers back up, drenching your nub with your own arousal.
“What—” you choked out. “Where… did you learn to…”
He spoke into your ear, a hint of smugness to his words.
“The human body is familiar territory I have traversed countless times. It has its secrets, but I know them all.”
You nearly choked on your own breath, your chest rising and falling too fast as you tried to remain somewhat in control. His fingers slipped back inside your entrance, rubbing against the spongy material on the inside wall as his thumb rubbed circles against your clit.
You weren’t going to last long like this. He’d already made you wet enough so penetration would no longer run the risk of injury, but he didn’t stop. You didn’t want him to stop, you wanted to come on his fingers just as you’d wanted to when he’d given you that first examination, unfairly making your body respond like a well-tuned instrument to his ministrations.
Your peak was rapidly approaching, and it was not one you would be able to bear in silence. It was going to hit you hard, for everyone to witness for their dissection and cataloguing.
You couldn’t—you didn’t want them to—
“Stop.”
It was a testament to his self-control that 049 stilled his movements. You were breathing hard, sweat damp on your skin, a ruined mess with just a few strokes of his hand.
049’s focus was sharp, devouring in the way a predator would savor over their prey whimpering between their claws. But he didn’t move, and concern crept into his eyes as he searched yours.
“I don’t… want them to see.”
Your eyes burned with humiliation, with the force of your need and the shame of it.
“Turn me over.”
His gaze flickered with understanding, but there was concern there too, and he seemed as if he was going to speak. But then he removed his fingers from inside you and lifted up, a hand on your hip turning you onto your stomach.
When his weight settled along your back, his cock pressed against your thigh, you bit into the pillow to muffle the moan. It felt different in this position, your hips automatically lifting from the bed, desperate to rub against him. There was no hesitancy this time, your need far greater than your fear. You didn’t care what the cameras saw now, what little they could see. He was once again shielding you from your watchers, his broad form keeping their prying eyes from your skin.
Your smock had ridden over your breasts, and your pert nipples rubbed against the sheets, drawing out another low moan. 049 adjusted himself so his cock hung just behind you, heavy and hot against your folds.
“Please,” you begged, your knees braced against the bed, lifting your hips as much as you could with him weighing you down. “Please.”
He growled low, his face pressed into your hair just behind your ear, and he lined himself up. He pushed, the head of his cock breaching your entrance easier this time, followed by the wider length of his girth.
You whined between your teeth, the stretch almost too much even with your arousal making a mess down your thighs. He held your hip with one hand, biting out something in French.
Insatiable, you tried to meet him, pushing back, and forcing another inch or two inside. He gave a gutted noise, as if the pleasure was almost too much. It was a beautiful sound; you wanted to hear it again. You tried to wiggle further backwards, take more of him, but he grabbed your hip firmly with his other hand, making you still.
“Wait,” he spoke in that same breathless shudder. “One moment.”
You didn’t have a choice with his vice-like grip on your body. He breathed heavily, a shiver rippling through him, and God, you wanted him fully inside you so much it hurt. The cameras, the observers, they didn’t matter in the face of the hunger that licked up your thighs and heated your core.
“Please,” you whispered, his face so close you didn’t need to speak louder. “I can do this.”
He let out a small breath that might have been a laugh.
“It is not a question… of your capability.” His words were taut as a wire. “It is a matter of strength, and how I must... restrain mine.”
You took his hand and placed it on the bed, slipping yours underneath. You twined your fingers with his, your knuckles braced against his palm. What should have been a lethal touch, but for you, never would be.
“I trust you.”
049 shivered, his forehead pressed against your hair, his body trembling in an effort to remain still.
“I need you.” You squeezed his fingers. “I want you.”
You sensed when he stopped fighting it. His posture relaxed, no longer rigid, and he pulled back a few inches. He pushed back in, the sudden intrusion hot and wet and sending sparks up your spine. You arched back against him, and the next thrust went deeper.
Unshed tears blurred your vision, the stretch and fullness almost too much and yet not enough. It was on the third thrust that his hips connected with yours, snug against you as his cock filled you past what any other human could.
You could barely think, barely breathe, your body a useless, lustful thing. A moan dragged out of you as you leaned back against him, and with his own answering growl he pushed you flat against the mattress.
The restraint he’d tried to maintain was gone, though his movements weren’t careless. Each thrust down into you, each roll of his hips was done with intention, a drive to ruin you for anyone else. You were completely full, your walls clinging to the strange textures of his skin, the curve of his cock striking a deep bundle of nerves you didn’t even know were there.
His skin was hot, almost burning every place he touched you, his cock sending jolts of heat down your gut. His breathing ran ragged, accentuated by the harsh metallic effect of this voice. Any moans that slipped out were quiet but choked with pleasure, driving him harder into you.
Your mind was a bubbling, staticky mess. 049 wasn’t just thick, there were ridges along his shaft, a pattern you couldn’t discern, not with your mind a jumbled haze. Every thrust rubbed against more than one sensitive spot, leaving you a drooling, panting mess as your walls slowly tightened around him. You were close to reaching your peak, and this time, you weren’t going to stop.
His hand hadn’t left yours, his fingers clawing the sheets underneath. But his other hand rounded your hip to press flat against your abdomen, right above your pelvis. Comforting. Protective.
Possessive.
White light burst behind your eyes. You were a vice around him, forcing him to slow as you throbbed and arched your spine. 049 growled, losing his rhythm. Something large pressed against your entrance at the base of his shaft. You didn’t know what it was, but you grinded against it with a single-minded need even though it was far too large for you to take.
More French expletives spilled from him as he forced you to remain in place, but the hot barrier pressed against your entrance as 049 shuddered with a low growl that was almost animalistic. He throbbed inside you as he gasped for air, each breath hot against your neck. He dipped his head against your shoulder, releasing your abdomen to slide upward, wrapping his arm around your waist.
You released a heavy breath and relaxed, bliss washing over you like a soothing wave, aided by his warm weight on your back. You still pulsed around him, but it was a dull, pleasant sensation. Closing your eyes, you let yourself stay in the moment. No thoughts or worries or fears.
Just him. Only him.

Reader and Jungkook are so I’m love and attracted to each other. I also included a little snippet of what I’m thinking of doing for a Jimin drabble. There aren’t enough stories about OC/Reader’s being voyeurs so I want to take a crack at it. It’ll probably be about Jimin/OC after listening to this couple’s escapades in Taehyung’s bathroom🤣🤣Next on my list is a Seokjin x roommate!reader, a Hoseok x Stripper!reader, and a Taehyung x NudeModel!reader. I also have an idea for an OT7 x Succubus!reader story where reader collects each member like infinity stones🤣. I actually want to attempt my first collab with that idea so if anyone wants to contribute, please reach out! Anyway, enjoy this! Criticism is always accepted. Stay safe💜
~
The only thing on your mind the entire time you were at work was Jungkook’s cock. You angrily ate your bagel in the car, trying to force down the throbbing between your legs. Stupid meeting! A few minutes more and you would have had that glorious cock right where you wanted it.
Letting your frustration out on your squishy steering wheel cover, you let out a deep sigh. You inhaled a few deep breaths, putting on your fake smile before stepping out of your car.
The meeting went pretty well. Your other coworkers covered for you until you got there. Jungkook’s cock wasn’t even on your mind once you got in front of that board to give your presentation.
Like always, you amazed them with your thoroughness and well thought out plan and it would be put into effect within the next few months.
“We’re going to lunch. You coming?” One of your coworkers asked.
You shook your head, politely declining. “No thanks. Jungkook made my lunch. I’m gonna call him.”
They let out some ‘oooo’s’, your eyes rolling but you couldn’t fight down the smile.
“I wish I had a buff tattooed husband to make my lunch.” One of them dreamily sighed to which they got nudged by someone else.
“You’re gay though.”
“So? I can still have straight thoughts.”
Spinning around in your desk chair, you pulled out your phone, tapping the screen to wake it up. A smile spread across your face at the photo on your lock screen. It was a selfie you took after Jungkook proposed—your lips locked in a kiss and your left hand raised to show off the rock on your finger. You remember that night so clearly. Your sister had come down from America to distract you for the entire day while Jungkook prepared the surprise. She randomly offered to do your hair and makeup, saying it was something she wanted to try for her small business. Of course, you thought nothing of it since you’ve helped her plenty of times. You still didn’t connect the dots when she told you to dress nice or when she loaded you into the car and drove you to an outdoors gazebo lit up by fairy lights and surrounded by your favorite flowers.
And there was Jungkook standing at the end, dressed to the nines and looking like the man of your dreams. You were too stunned to even move. Was this really happening? A gentle push from your sister moved your feet forward until you were standing before him, tears threatening to spill past your waterline.
“I can’t wait to see you walk down the aisle like that again but that time, with this on your finger.”
Then he got down on one knee, pulling out a velvet box and opening it, showing you the most gorgeous ring you’ve ever seen in your life.
That night was so magical. High off the endorphins and the overwhelming love you had for him, you two made passionate love all night, whispering your promises of the future on each other’s lips.
…..the room was so heavy with the scent of sex that you had to open all of the windows…..the hotel even charged you another cleaning fee because of how messy you left it.
Mhmm….
You clenched your thighs together, the memory igniting that flame back within you that you had managed to calm down.
Quickly unlocking your phone, you went to your FaceTime app, clicking the contact labeled “Mines💍🩷”. It rang twice before his face popped up on the screen. You were angled down which told you his phone was in his lap, both of his hands working on his game controller.
“Hey baby. Lunch time?”
You sighed, leaning on your palm. “Yeah. I just finished my presentation. Nailed it like always.”
He smiled. “I knew you would. You’ve been working really hard on it. I’m proud of you.”
His praise made you giggle, kicking your feet. “Thanks. I couldn’t have done it without your support. And my coworkers too. Anyway, what are you up to?”
“Playing some COD with Taehyung and Jimin. I was about to heat up some leftovers. Have you eaten your lunch yet? Ah! Come on, man!” His outburst made you smile, your eyes going to the veins in his arms that bulged with his movement. Those veins…….they bulged the same way whenever he’d choke you.
Looking around your office but finding no one around, you leaned closer to your phone to whisper, “baby…..I’m so horny.”
Your husband smirked, not taking his eyes off the television. Fucking tease….
“Oh yeah? Sounds like a problem for after work.”
Huffing, you said, “when I get home, you’re gonna get it.”
The smirk never dropped from his face. “I can’t wait.”

You were surprised the cops didn’t pull you over from how you were speeding home. Not even rush hour traffic could stop you from getting home. You weren’t even sure you were parked correctly but you couldn’t think about that now.
Rushing into your apartment building, you sped walked to the elevator, almost breaking the button from how hard you pressed it. Ugh! Aren’t elevators supposed to be faster than stairs? You would take the stairs but you didn’t want to tire your legs out right now. That was for later.
Why is it that when you were in a rush, unlocking your door became harder than trying to sleep after fresh braids?
You finally got the code right, throwing the door open and entering your apartment. You didn’t even remove your heels, tossing your bag on the table next to the door before rushing into the living room where your husband was sitting.
He heard the slam of the door but didn’t move. This was gonna be fun.
He didn’t greet you like he always did, not wanting his friends to know you were home. He just glanced back at you before turning his attention back to the screen
You rounded the couch to stand next to him. Your eyes took in his relaxed frame—he was manspreading(because why wouldn’t he be?)in a pair of shorts and still no shirt. His hair was pushed back with a hair band and looked slightly damp, telling you he had showered after you left. Probably a cold one.
He was wearing his headset too, one side pushed behind his ear. That told you he was definitely playing online with his friends. Normally, you’d convince him to stop playing so that you could have your way with him. You just didn’t really like the idea of Jungkook’s friends hearing you two get it on. Ironic considering you two have fucked in both of his friend’s houses before with them just a room away but that was different! This would be intentionally not trying to hide it. Could you live with that inevitable awkwardness afterwards?
Eh. You’ve sat through worse. Nothing would ever be as awkward as that day when your cousin aired out all of the family business a few thanksgivings ago. Even you spit out your lemonade at hearing that your aunt was lying about who her eldest son’s daddy was. Needless to say, family functions are now a thing of the past.
Toxic family aside, there was someone way less toxic looking delectable below you and you weren’t about to waste the opportunity. Taehyung and Jimin would get over it.
Stepping over his legs, you nestled yourself between his knees, pushing his hands that were settled over his crotch out of the way.
You’d wipe that cheeky smirk off his face.
Grabbing at the band of his shorts, you didn’t even need his help to yank them down, a sudden burst of strength coursing through your veins. His cock was already half hard, the cold air brushing against him making him shiver.
You didn’t even bother trying to stroke him to hardness, leaning forward to engulf his cock in your mouth. You weren’t even trying to get him to cum off head, you just wanted him hard before you rode him until his pelvis collapsed.
You felt his thighs tense under your hands, his own hands still working over his controller that he had moved to hold against his chest. The sound of gunshots and the dialogue of his video game didn’t sound nearly as loud as the sound of his cock hitting the back of your throat. Drool seeped out of the sides of your mouth, dripping down to his balls.
He covered a moan with a cough when you took him all the way to the hilt. Fuck, your mouth felt amazing. He was actually surprised you dropped to your knees when you knew he was online. Then again, he bent you over Taehyung’s bathroom sink less than 2 weeks ago so exhibitionism wasn’t completely off the table for you two. He also knew you hated orgasm denial more than anything unless in an intimate setting. You must have been fuming in the car. He knew from the moment you sent him that “on my way” text that you were going to pounce him. He loved how much you wanted him all the time. It made him feel so loved. And he loved you with everything he had.
You were it for him. He wanted to be with you forever—just basking in your affection and creating some of his happiest memories with you.
The sex was a plus too.
At a harsh suck, he tossed his head back, accidentally letting out a groan.
“You good, man? Stub your toe again?” Taehyung joked.
Jungkook cleared his throat. “Yeah. This coffee table sucks.” He looked down at you, your eyes already focused on him. He had to bite his lip just to prevent another moan from slipping—your eyes were watering, mascara smudging at the edges, mouth stretched around his girth.
You were a dream.
Pulling off his cock, you inhaled a deep breath. Now it was slicked with your spit, pulsing and rock hard. Just how you liked it.
Standing to your feet, you kicked off your heels while lifting your skirt to yank your panties off.
Jungkook watched you with hungry eyes, the tattoo that spread across your thigh making him wanting to sink his teeth into the fat. Maybe later. He used one hand to push his shorts the rest of the way off, kicking them away.
Once your panties were out of the way, you moved back towards him. You pushed his hands out of the way, moving to straddle his lap. Your perfume invaded his senses, his own arousal beginning to overwhelm him. He just wanted to completely wrap himself in you like a blanket.
Reaching behind you, you grabbed his cock, pumping it a few times before lining it up with your clenching entrance.
He had to hold his breath when you began sliding down. You were absolutely soaked, walls feeling tighter than ever. You took in deep breaths, forcing your walls to relax to be able to take him in.
An airy moan came from you once he was fully inside, the curved shaft pressing right into that spot inside of you. You felt like you could cum just from this but that wouldn’t be as satisfying.
“What was that? You aren’t playing a game on your phone too, are you? I will never understand why you do that.” Jimin said with a sigh and Jungkook could picture him shaking his head.
“What are you even doing? You haven’t moved and they’re ambushing us!” Taehyung called.
Jungkook rolled his neck, blinking his eyes a few times to try and focus back on the screen but you were obscuring his view. And what a view you were.
Gripping the couch behind his shoulders, you began a fast pace on his lap, the meeting of your thighs against his lap sounding similar to the gunshots on the television. He quickly disabled his mic, tossing his head back to let out the loudest moan ever. You were right there with him.
“Fuck.” He cursed, abandoning his controller to grip the fat of your ass. He couldn’t even think about this video game right now or the fact that his kill streak was tanking. The way your walls were hugging his cock were driving him crazy. To be honest, he was feeling desperate ever since you left the house. He had to take a cold shower just to will his erection away. He could have jerked off but why would he when he had you? He could suffer for a few hours if it meant you’d come home and ride his dick like this.
One of your hands went to hold the back of his neck, pulling him closer. “I love this cock so fucking much. I’ve been wanting it all day.” You growled in his ear, slamming down on him harder when you felt him land a slap to your ass.
“Yeah?” He breathily said and you could hear that stupid smirk in his voice. “T-then ride it.” Any other time, you would have teased how he stuttered but with your orgasm just a hairs width away, you ignored it. You’d tease him later.
Adjusting yourself until you were balanced on your feet, you began to throw your ass back on his cock—lifting yourself until just the tip was inside and then taking him right back in.
“Jungkook! Jungkook! Where are you? We’re losing!”
“Bro! Throw a grenade or something!”
He ignored the call of his friends, controller long abandoned on the floor, both hands now on your hips to give you help you didn’t need. If anything, it was more to ground himself. Sweat rolled down the back of his neck, the AC doing nothing to cool down his hot skin. The hand at the back of his neck felt like fire, your nails digging into his nape.
You yanked his head back, your own blurry eyes meeting his. His eyelashes fluttered, trying to stay open—he felt so close, like he was about to combust.
He looked so sexy like this; sweaty and breathless, mouth dropped open and eyes unfocused. His neck and chest were splotched in red, chest heaving from exertion.
You could eat him up.
Leaning forward, you latched onto that spot on the side of his neck, biting and sucking at it until a purple marked formed.
“I’m cumming, baby. Gonna cum all over your cock….” You whispered against his throat, that band that’s already been tight the entire day finally about to snap.
Your walls squeezed around him so tightly that it almost hurt, your juices dripping down his shaft and there was no doubt the couch would need to be cleaned.
One of his hands left your hips to wrap around your throat, dark eyes staring directly into yours. His gaze, along with the pressure of his hand squeezing your neck made that band snap, your orgasm hitting you harder than Chicago air in the winter.
Even so, you didn’t stop bouncing on his cock, wanting more and more. Your nails dug into his neck and the couch, mouth dropping open as your eyes rolled in your head. The pleasure traveled up your back and to the tips of your toes, your clit meeting his pelvis with every bounce, the bundle of nerves feeling a thousand times more sensitive than usual.
Jungkook wasn’t too far behind you.
“Oh my god. I’m cumming.”
You continued your pace, ass starting to hurt from where it connected with his thighs but the pain only pushed you harder.
“Fill me up, baby. Give it to me.” A little smile spread across your face, purposefully clenching your walls around him to milk him of his orgasm. Your ran your fingers through his hair, pushing his hairband and headset off until they were just hanging around his neck.
His eyes closed, his orgasm finally washing over him. Both the hand on your throat and the one on your hip gripping you tightly. The lack of air pushed you right into another orgasm, this one just as powerful as your first. Your legs shook from the force, your bounces slowing to a stop and your knees meeting the cushions of the couch.
Jungkook groaned, finally opening his eyes. “Did you just cum again?”
A new surge of energy rushed over him, the urge to cum again clouding him. Reaching for your blouse, he ripped it open, the buttons popping off.
“Jungkook!” You squealed but he ignored you, pulling the insulting fabric off your arms and tossing it on the floor. That left you in your bra, the cups holding the fullness of your breasts in the best of ways. His hands went to the latch on your back, undoing it with practiced ease. You helped him remove it, your nipples hardening once the cool air hit them. You also took his headset off his neck, placing it on the couch next to you.
He cupped both of them in his hands, squishing them together. He hummed, burying his face in the soft flesh and motor boating you. You giggled at his antics, running your fingers through his hair.
“I love these.” He sucked both of your nipples into his mouth, a shiver going down your spine. “You’re so sexy.” He nipped and licked at the supple skin, sucking at it harshly so he could see the bruises against your dark skin.
You began moving your hips against him again, humming as slight overstimulation melted back into pleasure.
“Feels so good. I love your cock.”
“I know you do. You’re gripping me so tight.” He murmured against your nipples, his eyes lifting to look at you.
Your legs felt a bit weak so all you could manage was a gentle bounce but that wasn’t enough for Jungkook right now.
Abandoning your breasts, he moved to grip at your ass again, helping you move back and forth on his cock. Your back arched, chest pressing closer to his face, his mouth still licking at your nipples.
You moaned as his shaft stroked at your walls, your cunt feeling sensitive but you still wanted more.
“Baby….more.”
Grabbing you by your ass, he hauled you up and stood to his feet. Your arms went around his shoulders, legs draped over his elbows.
Now this was your absolute favorite position. His cock hit you in all the right spots like this and the display of strength made you wetter than ever.
“Ready?” He asked.
You hugged him tighter. “Fuck me, baby.”
Getting a good grip on your ass, he began fucking you back and forth on his cock, this position causing the head of his cock to read even deeper inside of you. The pace he set was brutal, his own hips moving to meet you, fingers digging harshly into your ass.
“Oooooo….fffff-shit! Jungkook!” Your nails dug into his shoulders, toes curling at the euphoric pleasure.
“That’s right. Say my name. Whose fucking pussy is this?” His gruff voice growled in your ear. You moaned his name, syllables slurring together as your brain turned to mush. You were so close again already.
“Fuck! This fucking pussy is so good.” He tossed his head back, moving you harder against him, your walls trying to suck him back in with every thrust.
Your legs dangled uselessly over his arms, head lolling weakly against his shoulder. He could feel drool wetting his shoulder. It gave him a boost of confidence. Let him know he was fucking you stupid, just how he liked it.
“I’m cumming again.” You warned breathlessly, your hot breath blowing over his neck.
He didn’t need you to announce that, already feeling your walls tighten around him.
“Do it. Cum on my cock, princess.” As if his words were a trigger to your body, you came around him, letting out a high whine. “Good girl.”
He slowed his hips to a stop, ignoring your whine of discontent. He lowered your legs to the ground, holding you up when your knees buckled.
“Turn around.” He said but didn’t really wait for you to follow, flipping you around himself. Placing a hand on the back of your neck, he bent you at the waist, kicking your legs apart. You reached up to place your hand over his, the other going to your knee.
He pumped his cock a few times, lining himself up with your entrance and pushing inside. You sighed.
Grabbing your skirt that was still around your waist and keeping the other hand on the back of your neck, he began moving his hips. Your head dropped forward, nails digging into your own skin as his cock bullied your walls.
“Oh my god, yes baby. Harder.” You moaned.
He obliged, moving his other hand to your shoulder and beginning to piston his hips in and out of you. His eyes were mesmerized by how your ass rippled against his pelvis. He could feel that pressure building in his lower tummy again.
Using his grip on you, he pulled your upper body up until your back was pressed against his chest. His hand went back around your throat, using his fingers to turn your head to the side so that he could kiss you. Your hands went to grip at both sides of his hips, digging your nails there.
Mouth hanging open, you stuck out your tongue to silently ask for something you wanted.
And of course, he knew exactly what you needed.
Gathering saliva in his mouth, he spit directly on your tongue. Your eyes rolled to the back of your head, swallowing his spit and then opening your mouth again to let out a scream. He could feel your walls gripping him so tight that he had to slow down.
“Fuck. You dirty slut. You like when I spit in your mouth?” He laid a slap on the side of your thigh. Splaying his hand across your belly, he forced his way through your clenching walls. He started his pace right back up, feeling himself get closer and closer.
You began throwing your ass back against him, bringing your hand down to rub at your clit. Your fingers paired with his hand around your throat, his cock jamming into your sweet spot and the rush from him spitting in your mouth propelled you right into the strongest orgasm of your life.
Your vision spotted black, ears ringing, and muscles seizing as hot white pleasure vibrated across your entire body. Your fingers didn’t stop against your clit, the pleasure never ending.
Jungkook was also right there again, gripping you tight enough to bruise, he buried himself to the hilt, stuffing you full of his cum.
He fell back against the couch, bringing you down with him. Your body felt like jelly, energy drained and eyelids threatening to fall closed.
You felt Jungkook kiss your neck. “You okay?”
“Perfect. That felt so good.”
“Was it worth the wait?” You felt him smile against your skin, massaging at your sore legs.
“So worth it. I should go to work horny more often.”
“I agree.” His hand sneakily went between your legs to slap at your clit. You jumped at the sensation, whining and pushing his hand away.
“Stop. You menace.” He chuckled but relented, going back to massaging your sore body.
You two sat in silence for a little while, just basking in the afterglow and falling into a light doze. Jungkook forced himself to stay away, knowing he had to haul both of you to the bath.
He looked up at the television, realizing his game was still on. The screen told him that he was still online, just in the waiting room for another round.
Wait a second….
He reached for his headset on the couch, flipping it over, eyes widening at the green light that told him his mic was on. You must have accidentally turned it back on when you took it off him. Then that meant…..
Putting it back on his head, he softly said, “hyung?”
“Dude, you and your wife are freaks.” Taehyung said, sounding a little breathless.
Jungkook rolled his eyes. “Why didn’t you go offline? You didn’t have to listen.”
“Your wife has a spit kink? That’s hot.” That was Jimin.
“You too? I didn’t take you as a voyeur.” Jungkook joked. Yes he did. Even Jimin’s partner knew that. Jungkook’s heard one too many of Jimin’s drunken stories of him and his partner’s escapades.
“Oh yeah. Remember when you two fucked in Taehyung’s bathroom 2 weeks ago? My partner and I were walking by. It was hot.”
“Wait what? You did what in my bathroom?”
“I gotta go. Bye.”
“Jeon Jungkook!”

Come Go With Me
A Michael Gavey fic.
EDIT: Now with art! (just a sketch tho)
Summary: It's the spring of 2007 and Michael Gavey has so far kept to the vow he made to never socialize again after Oliver ditched him. Then he meets a cute girl at a coffee shop. Will the vow stand strong or immediately go down the drain?
Word Count: 3986
Rating: T (plenty of swearing, instances of misogyny, objectification of the female body, atrociously incorrect bagel eating, New York City slander, etc.)
Author's Note: yes, the title is the song by Expose. Also, I'm a corny writer.

“I don’t know or care what Oliver Quick is doing this summer,” Michael said, continuing to type on his laptop, not even making eye contact with whoever asked the question.  The guy who asked left without saying anything further.
Some random guy in the library asked Michael if it was true that Oliver was going to be spending the summer with Felix on his family’s estate.  It was more about prying into Felix’s business than him wanting to know anything about Oliver, Michael thought.  Oliver was not on the same level of being interesting (in the eyes of the general student populace) that the Cattons were.
Michael didn’t give a shit that Oliver was going to fancy fucking Saltburn with his new, snobby, loser, nepo baby friends for the summer.  Really, he didn’t.  When Oliver humiliated him at the bar, he made the decision then to swear off any further socializing at the university.  It was the best thing he ever did.
Already, he felt less anxious.  He had more time to focus on his coursework.  More time to read new books, attend off campus lectures.  Walks in the park by himself were quite relaxing when he didn’t have to think about topics to keep a stilted, dying conversation going.  He even went so far as to set aside time to play video games again.  Every weekend, for one hour and a half, he lost himself in Fable on his Xbox.
Michael still felt the sting of the bar betrayal from time to time, as he thought he had finally found a true friend in Oliver (or at least, the potential for him to become one).  The new, lone path taken had helped him realize that he was not the problem.  Oliver was just an asshole, like the majority of those who went to Oxford.
Sometimes Michael wondered why people didn’t like him.  Must be how smart he was.   There was nothing weird about being good at math.  What was so awful about being good at math, anyway?  He guessed that most peoples’ biggest issue with his smarts was that it reminded them they were stupid. Oh well!  Plenty of time for activities by himself now.
One of those activities was fast became his favorite, after only his fourth visit.  Visiting a little coffee shop he had discovered near the river, he was able to “mingle” among people without having to talk to anyone. No one would bother him here and he would still get his dose of human contact which, after all, was vital to the psychological constitution of a person.  As rigid as he intended on being with his new No Socializing At Oxford vows, Michael did not intend on becoming a psychopath.  Besides, the baristas never got his order wrong. They never talked to him beyond the perfunctory taking of his order but after the third time, when he walked in, instead of asking what he would like the person at the register had asked “The usual?” and Michael would just say yes, thank you, and then pay.
Michael packed up his laptop, shoving it and the charger into his reusable Tescoe bag along with his notebooks. He stood and adjusted his sweater, checked all his pant pockets were buttoned up and zipped closed.  He kept his visits only to every other day so as to not have the monotony grate on his nerves. The coffee shop made fresh bagels every day, however, and he had been looking forward to enjoying one all morning (his favorite was blueberry).  He liked to eat his a certain way, scooping out the insides of each slice before finally eating the hollowed out crusts.  Someone at school would surely have an opinion about his bagel-eating method (not that he cared) but at the coffee shop, Michael was left in peace.
Walking briskly through the library doors and outside in the crisp spring air, he didn’t even look in direction of Oliver walking up the steps into the library with Felix.  They were laughing about something but Michael didn’t even breathe in their direction.
—---------
The delicious smell of bread baking hit him in a wave as he stepped into the coffee shop.  It looked like a rush had just hit, the baristas busy cleaning and restocking various items.
“Hi! I’ll take your order right over here.” came the chipper voice.  Michael turned.
Oh god, a new hire. An American one (he was pretty sure the accent he heard was American) Maybe he wasn’t entitled to feel irritated about changes in the store, it's not like he owned the damn thing, but Michael felt irritated just the same.  This was HIS spot and someone new had just invaded it.
The new girl had long hair parted in the middle, tied back in a bun.  The hair was turquoise. A very bright turquoise, almost neon, he would say.  It pissed him off even more. Dyed hair was so fucking tacky.
He trudged to the register, hating every second of anticipating having to deal with someone new, someone chatty, even for something as impersonal as coffee.
The girl was almost as tall as he was, eye-level to him, smiling the fakest fucking smile he had ever seen.  I mean, it had to be fake.  Who looked this happy to be taking a stranger’s order? He didn’t even bother attempting to smile back.  Whatever.  Get my coffee, bitch Michael though.
“I’ll have a large vanilla coffee, sugar free, with a blueberry bagel.”
“Ah, so just cutting back on the sugar but can’t quite quit it altogether, eh?” the girl said with a wink and another smile, totally unperturbed by his attitude.
Michael pursed his lips and said nothing.  The girl, still unbothered, looked down and clacked away on the touch screen.  He quickly looked over her in the few seconds she imputed his order.
She had long, acrylic nails, painted a pastel kind of purple.  Her name tag said Cat, which he guessed was short for Catherine.  Maybe.  Also her boobs were big.  Not normal big, but stripper big.  Not that he would know, but still.  Too big for the word “boobs”, for sure.  Tits seemed like a more appropriate word.  If he had ever been to a strip club he was pretty damn sure stripper tits would look exactly like hers.  And she had tattoos covering the entirety of her left arm.  Classy, he thought condescendingly. No wonder she was working here instead of somewhere like a bank.
Michael wondered if she had tattoos on her chest as well…he was so sure he could avert his gaze before she noticed but suddenly her fingers snapped and her head lowered into his line of vision, a smug look on her face.  Small wisps of hair hung in front of her ears, he noticed.
“You lose something. buddy?” she asked.
“I didn’t mean-I was just looking at your name tag.” he sputtered, fidgeting with a cuff of his sweater.
“Look, it's fine. They’re tits.”
Michael flinched slightly at her casual use of the word.  It was one thing to talk like that with other guys, but girls? What was she trying to prove?  Tits tits tits. He made a point to stare straight into her eyes and not look away while she continued to speak. “Its not a big deal, I promise,” she said, finishing up his order on the register and offering her hand to take payment.
Choosing not to respond, Michael set his Tesco bag on the counter so he could unzip one of his pockets to get at his credit card.  The pocket it was in was hard to open and the zipper always caught, so two hands were needed.
“You can look, you know,  just don’t be creepy about it.” she continued, as he struggled slightly with the pocket.
Michael did not look at her as he handed over the card.
Being branded a “creep” was the last thing Michael needed.  He was already the Lonely Nerd at university, he really did not want to become the Creepy Lonely Nerd (that ogles stranger’s tits).  Not that he would give a shit what people thought, but one less socially crippling label was better than one more.
“I mean, it’s not like I can leave them at home, right?  I don’t mind a little look here and there!” she said with a laugh, handing back his card. Unbelievable.  She was still talking about her tits!
“Can I get that to go?” Michael answered more than asked.
“Sure thing. Uh, what’s your name?”
“I’m Michael.” He was not staying here. He was not going to stay and become the Creepy Tit Guy.  Given her outgoing nature, Cat would probably have something to say about the way he ate his bagel, too, he was sure of it.  He would become Creepy Tit And Weirdo Bagel Eating Method Guy if he stayed. Maybe dealing with this at university would have been easier but this was supposed to be his relaxation spot. The coffee shop was ruined for him now, he would never come back.  Ever.  Fuck this place and fuck her.
“Alrighty, dude. Be right back!”
“My name is not…dude..” Michael stepped away from the register, his voice fading away to nothing as Cat got his order ready, unable to hear him.  There was no one else coming in right now, it seemed he came during a lull. The other employees were still cleaning and restocking.
“Here you go!” Cat said with a smile, handing him his bagel in a paper wrap and his coffee.
Still not looking at her, he took his bagel and his coffee and got the fuck out of there, practically powerwalking away.
It was only until he made it to a nearby park bench that he finally saw what Cat had written on the other side of his bagel wrapper.  A whole paragraph, practically.  Michael, sorry for making you feel uncomfortable. I was just trying to be funny, I swear.  Enjoy your coffee.  Hope you come back!
Michael felt relief for a moment, before loudly groaning and spilling some of his coffee as he made to slap his forehead with that same hand.  He had left his fucking Tescoe bag at the coffee shop.  His bag that had his computer, his notebooks, his finished papers for a couple of classes.
He had to go back.  Fuck.
Tumblr media
“Yeah, sorry, but she said she knew you.”
Michael swore. The cashier informed him that Cat had just left, her shift was over.  She had taken the bag with her to the Oxford library.  Apparently, she was a student there?  Who fucking knew!?
“You need me to call the police?”
“No, that’s all right, I do know her.”  Michael lied.  “I told her earlier I’d be headed to the library later.  She probably figures she can catch me there.”  Without a single, civil ‘thank you’, Michael practically fled the shop.
Tumblr media
He didn’t care how dumb it looked that he was frantically looking everywhere in the library for the familiar, turquoise hair.  People always looked at him funny.  It’s not like he could go to each of them individually and ask them hey could you please stop snidely whispering every time you look in my direction? Old Michael would go back to his dorm, have a cry, wonder why no one liked him and then quickly finish his homework in his dungeon of a bedroom before crying some more and then going to sleep.
New Michael didn’t give a shit.  New Michael was focused 100 percent on his academics and self-care, and right now his academics were in jeopardy because that Tesco bag held papers he had yet to type (Michael liked to hand write his work first, he felt it was more thorough). Also, maybe New Michael should better remember to not forget his shit at random shops.  Old Michael wouldn’t have forgotten. Whatever.
After scanning the entire first floor of the library, he stomped to the second floor.  If she was a student here, how had he never seen her?  The hair would have been hard to miss.  Of course, it's not like he made it a habit to people watch anymore, especially in the library.
Suddenly, he saw her.  Way in the corner, at a table right under a huge window, he saw her returning with her nose in a book from the shelves.  On the table, his bag.
“Give it here.” Michael said, approaching the table.  Cat looked up from her book.
God, she was pretty.  He felt like a troll next to her.  It was so fucking unfair. More importantly though…why was he telling her to hand the bag back?  It was HIS.  He should just take it and go, without a word.  She had basically stolen it.  The girl was a thief and took it to give him a hard time because she was a bitch, like every other pretty girl he had ever interacted with and been cut down by. Maybe he could like her if he gave it a try…but the days of trying to get people to think he was cool or amazing were over.  She was a bitch and he knew it.
Mmm not what the note on your bagel showed, an annoying voice in his head began. That note could only have been written if she liked you because who would write that for a random customer?  You should talk to her an-
Oh, fucking christ.  Old Michael.  Desperate-to-be-liked-by-someone-ANYONE Michael.  Shut the fuck up, Old Michael. You are dead.
“Yeah, no problem, I mean it is your bag!” Cat said cheerfully, closing her book and holding the bag out to him. “Sorry you had to run all this way to get it, Michael.”
“Um, it’s ok.  I run fast.” Michael said, immediately regretting it. God, that sounded so fucking stupid. He reached out for his bag.
Oh, so we’re no longer on that socializing ban, huh, Mr. Comedian?  I mean, what was THAT?!  Old Michael thought slyly. Shut up shut up shut up shut up!!!!! And, look!  She remembers your name! SHUT UP.
“-couldn’t just leave it there, you know?” Cat had finished saying.
Michael froze. “Huh?”
What had she been talking about?  Shit. “Uh, why not?” Please let that be the right response.  Please let that be relevant to what she was fucking saying, Michael thought desperately.
Cat rolled her eyes, but still sounded…not like a bitch?  “The laptop would definitely have been long gone if I hadn’t taken the bag.  I couldn’t just leave it there.”
Oh.  That was it.  That had been all she had said. Michael nodded and mumbled his thanks, ready to go…except Cat still held onto the bag. And stopped him with her next words.
“You play Fable a lot?”she asked.
It’s a trap.  She is going to make fun of you, he thought to himself.  Just get your shit and go. His hand was also still on HIS bag.  That she was not letting go of, for some reason.
“Yeah, I like it a lot.”
Oh, how riveting.  That will make her swoon! Old Michael chimed in.
“Really?” Cat responded.  Her tone wasn’t mocking.  It was…interested?  “I like it too but it feels unfinished, somehow.  I wish they would release Fallout 3 for these new consoles already, I bet it would be 1000 times better than this crap that Lionhead put out.”
Michael nodded.  She liked Fallout? She was impatient for the release?? Ask her to go with you to the midnight release next year!!! Ask her ask her ask her ask- No.  Shut up.  Be normal, for once in your life, be normal and chill about something.
“-able doesn’t feel like it’s TRULY a good rpg, where you can do whatever you want, you know?  You can only go in one direction and can’t put off the main quest at all.”
She was still talking about Fable.  She was still talking about video games, something they both liked, something they had in common.
This is your chance, you know. Old Michael piped in.  Did any of those other people ever show even the slightest interest in the stuff you were into?  Ever? Ask her out!
“Ok,” Michael began. “I see your point, but the mechanics of the game aren’t the star so much as the incredible story and character designs-”
While he continued to go on a tangent of Fable’s good qualities to Cat, trying his best not to sound too rant-y, Michael frantically gave the idea of asking her out some thought…
What if she said no? Hm what if she says yes?
It’s stupid. The release for Fallout 3 is next year.  No, not even.  It’s October of that year, so…over a year away!  Almost two fucking years! What kind of weirdo would ask someone on a date almost two years from now?! Plus, she isn’t even into me.  She just likes video games, like any other person.
Why is she still holding onto your bag, then? Old Michael thought smugly.  Why did she write that little note on your bagel? Why did she remember your name? Why-
All right, all right.
“Right, so…want to come? To the midnight release for it?  For Fallout 3?” Michael asked, throwing all caution to the wind and swallowing his preemptive rejection rage that already was bubbling up.
“For Fallout?” Cat said, still holding onto the bag. “Which store you going to?”
“Target.” Please say yes.  I don’t even know you and I know it’s weird to ask you somewhere practically two years from now but PLEASE SAy YES, Michael thought.
“Mm, nah.” Cat, said, letting go of the bag to dig in her bookbag.
Shit.
Michael’s chest began to hurt, the hand holding his bag falling limply to his side.  He could feel his eyes begin to water.  She was just like the rest of them. Pathetic.  So pathe-
“You should come with me to Game on Queen Street, they always price cut!” Cat said, whipping out her blackberry. “Whatever price we show them for the game, they’ll shave 5 off it!  I mean, it’s not much but I’ll take what I can get! Here, put your number in.”
On sheer autopilot, Michael put his number in.  He felt ashamed the entire time, having choked back a scathing insult at the last minute before Cat had shoved her phone at him.
“Are you ok?” Cat took her phone back, eyeing him with a concerned look.
“I’m fine! It’s just-probably something I caught the other day, I can already feel the sniffles coming on and whatnot.  It’s nothing!” Michael babbled.
It cannot be this easy, Michael thought.  It’s been this easy the entire time?  Hanging out with a girl?  Talking to her?  Making plans?  Why did Oliver never like him when they had so much in common?
Holy shit, forget about fucking Oliver! You have a date with your future wife! Old Michael practically screeched. Jesus fucking Christ, you are desperate. Shut the fuck up!! Be Normal!
“You wanna go back to the shop and get another bagel?” Cat asked, putting her books away and sliding on her bookbag. “ We could use my discount, that way-”
“Yeah, let's go.” Michael cut in.  Grabbing her wrist and not waiting for her answer, he turned and began to swiftly move through the library.  He tried not to get excited as Cat uttered a quick ‘cool’ and kept pace with him.
He also tried not to think about how awkwardly he was holding her hand. Everyone in the library was staring, he saw it in his peripheral.   It had looked so cool in his brain but now everyone could see how his stupid hand around her wrist slightly resembled him holding his limp-no no no no noooo shut up shut up SHUT UP.
“Blueberry runs out quick.” Michael said, as they both briskly walked.   “I went one time at around this hour instead of my usual time and I had to settle for onion, which is gross as shit.” You’re rambling, Old Michael chided.  She fucking works there, she doesn’t need a play-by-play of bagel supply issues. Let her say something, idiot!  The reason he never noticed her before, it turned out, was that she hadn’t dyed her hair yet.  Cat also began to tell him about her history degree.  Something about the American Gilded age and how she was deep into research of the British Astors or something.  Michael surprisingly found himself not bored.  Were her eyes fucking green?  Oh, fuck, they were green!
They finally saw the shop in the distance.  Right after his anti-onion bagel tirade and her talk of her studies, he set straight into a long-winded verbal onslaught on the statistics of how rare green eyes were.  Micheal thought his heart would fall out of his asshole when Cat adjusted their hands so her fingers were laced with his.  About halfway through the distance, he had cut in when she mentioned her favorite bagel flavor (pineapple) and talked her ear off the rest of the way about his bagel eating method, insisting on its practicality but really prepping her so that she wouldn’t be horrified when she saw him do it and ditch him like fucking Oliver.  She laughed.
“That’s so L.A. of you.  New York would hate your fucking guts, though.” she said, with a grin.   “Good thing I’m a California girl!  I’d rather deal with horrible traffic and scooped bagels than having to fight rats for sidewalk space.”
Right before they got to the doors, Michael went for it.  “I’m telling people that you’re my girlfriend.”, he said seriously.  She hadn’t run off when he had taken her hand (wrist).  She had noticed the Fable stickers on his computer.  She had remembered his name after one interaction. The American thing was a slight issue but hey, no one was perfect!
“Cool, because I already told the staff that you were my boyfriend when I took your bag!” Cat responded. “I told them you like to pretend you don’t know me when you get mad and I just play along to pacify you.  It was the only way they were comfortable letting me take your bag!”
Be cool!  Do not fucking freak out! Act fucking normal! Do NOT scare her away! Say something a fucking weirdo would never in a million years say! Old Michael reminded him.
“Let’s go back to my place after and study some calculus.  Your grades in that sound horrendous.” Fucccccck.  You just got yourself a girlfriend and this is the shit you respond with?! Old Michael panicked.
Cat smirked. “Only if you promise to fuck me into your mattress after.”
Michael stared at her, almost daring her to say she was kidding.  When she didn’t and her gaze briefly dropped to his lips, he abandoned any doubts he had and turned to walk away from the shop, practically dragging Cat with him.
Cat giggled and adjusted herself to clutch at his arm with both hands, her legs and his in perfect sync as they made their way to Michael’s room.
—------------
“What the fuck?” Felix said to Oliver, pointing. Both were sitting on a bench, relaxing a bit before their next class.
“Didn’t he go fucking mental at you the first day? Not to be a dick or anything but is she safe with that guy?”
Oliver followed Felix’s finger and froze.
He gaped at what he saw:
Tumblr media
Michael fucking Gavey, math genius slash freak of nature, walking happily with the pretty American girl who had said no to their bar hopping invite just last week.  It was definitely surprising, but Oliver was now more determined than ever.  If a fucking social reject like Gavey could get what he was after, then someone like himself was sure to have the same luck if he continued to put in the effort.

Can I request a snzfic, where someone from maknae line JK/Tae/Jimin has a pretty bad pollen allergy and other guys help him to endure that? You are doing great writing this, thank you so much😘
Remember to close the window
Sickie: Taehyung
Caretakers: Bangtan, mostly Jungkook
Relationships: Platonic
Jungkook’s pov:
The sweet smell of coffee and a sliver of sunlight hitting my face woke me from a not-so-deep sleep. I rolled over and opened my eyes, expecting to see Tae-hyung lying beside me. Only a tissue box and a bottle of Allegra sat in his place. It was spring, after all. I scanned the room, scoffing at the sight of an open window.
‘No wonder he's already up,’ I thought, ‘he probably couldn't breathe all night.’
The members were on tour in North America and were sweating buckets after their show last night. Naturally, they cracked of few windows in their hotel suite, but Tae had forgotten to close the one in the bedroom we shared. The important thing to know is that Allegra and other meds did jack-shit for his allergies seeing as they were always so bad. He was in for a rough day.
I crawled out of bed and stretched. As usual, a bunch of my joints cracked as well. I grabbed my phone and started walking to the living room, meeting Jimin in the hallway who had seemingly also just woken up.
"Morning, Kookie!" he said as he pulled me into a side hug.
"Good morning," I returned the squeeze, "you'll never guess what Tae-hyung forgot."
Jimin was about to respond when we heard a sneeze from the other room. We glanced at each other, "window," we both said. It was nothing he hadn't done before. I laughed as we entered the room, seeing Tae refilling his coffee mug.
"Save some for the rest of us, why don't ya!" Jimin joked. Tae turned around and grinned at the sight of us.
"Hey, guys." He said and cleared his throat. He had slight bags under his eyes and his nose was pinker than usual. Despite the smile, he didn't seem like a happy camper.
"Morning, TaeTae!" I said. He sniffled and greeted me, handing a mug to Jimin and giving his second helping to me. "You left the window open last night."
Tae blew his nose and rolled his eyes, "no wonder I feel like shit," he muttered.
Jimin patted him on the back and sat down on the couch with his coffee and a bagel, "I've done the same thing. Rookie mistake, dude."
"Did you even sleep at all?" I asked as we joined Jimin.
Tae nodded, "I slept well but woke up really early." He paused and rubbed his nose, "Got up at like five thirty- hhhuhESHH!" A sneeze cut him off and Jimin chuckled.
"Bless youuuu!" Hobi-hyung sang as he shuffled into the room, "Good morning, maknaes!"
Jimin nearly choked on his breakfast. It's hard to laugh at someone singing horribly on purpose when you have food in your mouth.
I rubbed Tae’s shoulder and invited Hobi to sit, "He would say thank you but he's trying not to sneeze again." Tae smiled and nodded, mouth agape and head towards the ceiling. I smirked as Hobi shrugged in return.
A fully dressed and showered Yoongi made his way into the kitchen, whistling to himself. He flinched at the sound of another sneeze, "Aish, Taehyung-ah!"
"Oh, bless you, Tae!" Taehyung said and laughed. At least he isn't grumpy, I thought.
I put my empty mug in the sink and squeezed Yoongi’s shoulder.
"He left the window open," I whispered.
Yoongi looked at me, then at Tae, then back at me. "There's no way he forgot when I had him set a reminder on his phone." I just shrugged and nodded.
"My phone died!" Taehyung yelled as he got up from the couch, placing his face in his elbow, "ESHHhahh! Oh my god!" he groaned.
"Oh, bless you, Tae!" Yoongi mocked, smiling. He turned to me, "Good luck with that, Kook.”
I rolled my eyes and gave Tae a pat on the head. "Bless you," I cooed.
"Thank you."
"Go get ready," I directed at the three boys still in need of a shower, "We're leaving in 20 to go set up for tonight."
Tonight would be the band's second show in New York but they had plenty of interviews taking place at the venue to keep them busy until then.
********time skip********
Taehyung’s pov:
After arriving at the venue, the members and I were sat down for our first interview of the day. Our manager opened his backpack, rustled around for a bit, and handed me a bottle of antihistamines. I smiled and rubbed my nose. This guy has everything in his bag, I thought.
I sat beside Yoongi as always and popped a tablet in my mouth.
"What's the point if those don't even work on you?" He asked.
I shrugged and took a few sips of water to wash it down. "Placebo affect?" I said and sniffled, "Manager-nim wants me to keep trying them."
I was handed a microphone so I tossed the bottle of pills back.
"Alright guys, anything I should know before we start?" the interviewer asked.
"Tae has been sneezing all morning!" Jungkook blurted out.
"Thanks, Kook." I rolled my eyes, slightly embarrassed, and turned to the interviewer. "Yeah, it's my allergies," I responded and rubbed my eye. "They're so bad right now."
"No worries," he said. He explained that the interview wasn't live and we could take breaks if I needed to. Jin gave me a thumbs up.
The interview went something like this: we were asked a question, someone answered, I sniffled. We were asked a question, I cleared my throat before answering. We were asked a question, "huuRESHH! Sorry." And the cycle continued.
The other two interviews that day weren't any different. Don't sneeze, I kept telling myself, not like that would help. My nose was twitching like a rabbit. It felt like every few minutes I'd go, "ESHHhuhh! Excuse me" or "sorry" or "thank you." It was exhausting. Especially trying to dodge the mic every time I sneezed. I ended up falling asleep on Jimin’s lap in the dressing room when we were finished with the Q&As.
Jimin’s pov:
I rubbed Tae’s back as he slept, glad he could rest after waking up so early that morning. I could hear the congestion in his breathing and propped his head up a bit, trying to relieve it.
"Still asleep?" Namjoon asked, poking his head into the room.
I nodded and checked the time, "I'll wake him in 5," I whispered. RM gave a thumbs up and left us alone.
"You don't have to whisper." I look down and saw tired, brown eyes looking back at me. "I heard the door open," he said as he sat up, making a face.
"What's wrong?" I laughed.
"I feel it in my ears," he groaned and I pulled him into a hug as he sniffled and yawned. A few seconds later I heard his breathing change.
"Are you crying?" I asked as he pulled away.
"No, I- ESHHhaah!" He turned and sneezed into his shirt that he had quickly pulled over his face, "huESHH! I felt them coming." He smiled and I laughed while he let his shirt fall back into place.
Jin’s pov:
"Hey, Jimin-ah?" I called, opening the door to the dressing room. I was greeted by Tae with a sneeze and snickered, "Bless you, Tae-bear."
"Thanks," he replied, yawning.
"What's up, hyung?" Jimin replied.
"Do you have my water bottle?"
He reached behind him, pulling a bottle from seemingly out of nowhere.
“Thanks,” I said. I let the youngers know we’d better warm up and took a sip of the water.
********time skip********
Taehyung’s pov:
We got onstage and were greeted by a huge crowd. New York always knew how to party and I could tell it was going to be a good show.
Surprisingly, I felt fine for most of the show. ‘The adrenaline must be keeping me going, or that nap,’ I thought. Towards the end of the set, the members and I were making jokes and talking with ARMY. I rubbed my nose, feeling my sinuses tingling, and waited for a sneeze. I turned away from the crowd and looked up at the stage lights, trying to coax it out.
Yoongi interrupted Jin who had been saying something and pointed at me, "what is he doing?"
Jin switched subjects, "Tae, what're you looking at?"
"He has to sneeze again," Hobi teased.
I laughed, sniffled, nodded, and then waited. I heard ARMY laughing as well. "haahESHH! Aigo.”
I turned back around and was met with a chorus of bless you's from ARMY and the members, along with Jin nearly falling down from laughing so hard. I gave the crowd a thumbs up,
"I'm good, thanks," I assured them.
********time skip********
Jungkook’s pov:
While heading out after the show, the members and I took a few pictures with some of the sweetest ARMY. We then hopped in the car and Tae rested his head on my shoulder.
"You feeling okay, hyung?" I said quietly.
He yawned, "just tired, but I feel a lot better than this morning." He snuggled into me.
Good, I thought as we both dozed off after a fantastic show.
Namjoon’s pov:
We made it back to the hotel and I was about to climb out of the car when I noticed Tae and Jungkook asleep on each other. I snapped a few pictures, overwhelmed with the cuteness, and then gently shook them awake and we made our way inside.
"Anyone else want tea?" I asked, stepping into the kitchen. Jin and Yoongi took me up on my offer and I took out a few mugs from the cabinet. Hobi and Jin sat down and picked out a movie. I brought everyone their tea and joined the two on the couch. Jungkook grabbed his laptop and said goodnight. Him and Tae typically catch up on a show together before bed.
"Goodnight guys," I said.
Yoongi sipped his tea, "night, you two."
"See you in the morning," Jimin chimed in, "and Tae, remember to close the window."
The rest of us laughed, having nearly forgotten about the events of that morning.
"I will," he promised, and the two disappeared into their bedroom together.
Jungkook’s pov:
I changed into a hoodie and a pair of pajama bottoms and crawled under the covers. Tae got ready for bed as well and made sure to shut the window while I opened my laptop.
"Hey, Kook?" I heard him call, still sniffling.
"Yeah, hyung?"
"I'm thinking just one episode tonight," he said and hopped into bed, sneezing twice more before snuggling close to me, "Geez, 'scuse me, sorry. It's just that I woke up really early today."
"Bless you. I know, hyung," I said and messed with his hair, "you need some rest which is understandable." He thanked me for the blessing and I clicked on Netflix.
We were about halfway through the episode when I heard Tae-hyung’s congested snores, his head still resting on my chest. I grinned, glad he was feeling better and was able to easily fall asleep. Not wanting to continue the show without him, I shut my laptop, and turned the lights out, quickly falling asleep as well.

Hewwo! Are you ready for some no-context blorbo posting? Well, you can bet your left buttcheek I've got some blorboisms for you straight outta my rattling noggin and RPs!
A lil' while back, one of the writers in the RP's Meta asked us some background questions about our character(s):
What is the first thing your character does in the morning (or whatever other time they wake up)?
As a child, what did your character want to be growing up (and how did that turn out for them)?
How does your character display affection?
What is an obstacle they're currently facing, a struggle they're dealing with?
How does your character respond to failure?
So, for the two characters I wrote for (Sam Sadler and Lua Devens), here were my long-winded thoughts for these questions:
Both Sam and Lua are fairly early risers, though neither of the two will do very much for a while after waking since their days tend to start on their own time. Sam will naturally wake up around 6:30. He still keeps an alarm set for 6:45, but he's most likely already up for it unless the previous night was a long one. Lua will either get up at 4-something or 7-something - there's really no telling which will happen on what morning. If Lua's up early, he'll usually ease out of bed, head to the bathroom and get ready for the day (Sam jokes that Lua is cold-blooded because he'll hop in the shower and crank the hot water way up, steaming up the whole bathroom and bedroom). After getting ready, Lua will probably slip into light athletic clothing, go downstairs, grab a small breakfast, pocket their keys and phone, and head out for an easy walk in the pre-dawn hours. More often than not he'll be listening to a podcast like Alice Isn't Dead or The Black Tapes, or something similar. If Lua's in for a later morning, then Sam will be the first one awake. He keeps his alarm very quiet, so if it does go off, it won't wake Lua. Sam will kinda just sit in silence for a while, trying to muster the energy to get going. He always keeps a bedside book, so he may pick that up and read it, or scroll his socials for a bit. On these slower, later mornings, the pair will wrap up in a blanket burrito and cuddle for a bit, sometimes talking about little bits and bobs from their lives, or just sleepily snuggling together. Sam makes the bed most mornings - not that Lua doesn't want to, Sam just likes doing it - it's just something about order and tidiness for him, and something in having a routine. Sam will then usually wait while Lua uses the bathroom first. Sam will pick out his outfit for the day and lay it out on the bed, maybe turn on some NPR radio and scroll through some more feeds while Lua gets ready. When they swap places, Sam has a pretty regimented routine and may spend more time just making sure he sticks to it. After Lua dresses themself, he'll probably head downstairs and put some coffee or tea up, grab a bagel, or cereal, or toast, then head out onto the patio and sit and sip their drink while watching the world slowly awaken. Sam will eventually come down all neat and proper and ready to tackle the day. He'll drink some water and grab some cereal or a toaster waffle with Lua before grabbing their keys and driving to the nearest cafe for coffee, tea, or a smoothie. When he gets back, he'll start his day and Lua is probably already starting theirs.
I think Sam really liked the idea of being a race car driver. Didn't matter what kind, he just thought it was really neat. Growing up with a family that indulged in a lot of automotive sports, it was almost a given for him to have some interest. He did try his hand at kart racing at an early age and even got onto some circuits as a teen and young adult, but he found his interests too diverse to stick with just that. Like Sam, Lua also had pretty diverse interests - both were extremely fortunate children and had plenty of opportunities to explore different hobbies, passions, and pastimes. Lua always tossed around the idea of being a writer/novelist or, in a polar opposite turn, a professional soccer player, but he ended up ditching soccer very early on and took up equestrian sports. While he continues to write and ride, he truly enjoys his work with the Bureau now and would likely never give up his line of work.
Both Sam and Lua are affectionate people in their own ways, but both also greatly value their quiet time and space, so they are often more than satisfied just being present with each other. One of Sam's love languages is touch, but they understand that Lua is not always willing to engage with them in that way. Lua likes to buy small things for Sam - Sam will of course reciprocate, but he prefers to do things. Honestly, their presence together is enough for them to be happy. Small kisses on the forehead and cheek, light hand-holding, cuddling in the morning, and the small gestures that happen in the day-to-day minutia are affection enough for the pair.
Lua has struggled with his identity for a very long time. Sam has always understood this to some extent, but only recently began to understand the depth of it. The pair have been working together to help Lua come to terms with his true self both at home and around others. Facing past traumas from abusive relationships, the burden of some of their past cases, dealing with the ignorant antics of some of their family members, and the general weight of coming out has been extremely difficult for Lua, but with Sam by his side, he has been slowly working towards it. Sam is facing different challenges, mostly trying to find a new path for themselves outside of municipal work. Career changes happen all the time, but he's been pretty set on politics for a while. With that chapter closed in his life, he's quickly realizing there's so many things he can possibly do and finds the task of identifying where he wants to go a bit overwhelming.
Lua's responses to failure are interesting; he dislikes failure and will do anything and everything possible to avoid it, even to his own detriment. He's long struggled with self worth and his own perceived value and generally feels that even small failures are monumental setbacks for himself. He's conditioned himself to be an utter perfectionist, working well beyond reasonable means to ensure he never has to face failure, and so when he does, it can often be a spiraling roller coaster ride downwards that severely impacts him. Sam is working through this with him as well, but facing something like this is not easily handled without professional attention. Sam is detail oriented and highly accountable to his work, but he does not face the same type of challenges in life and in work, and is more receptive to the experiences that failure brings. He will feel down about getting something wrong, but he's able to bounce back relatively quickly and get the ball rolling without too much effort. He does get frustrated if he fails multiple times on the same task or challenge, but he's usually able to brush it off and play things off with a smile.
And there we go! My two sweet oc bfs from Lower Duck Pond. It's been a while since I've written actively for them, but they're pretty near and dear to my lil' heart :3

Mooky, I saw your tags on the exercise post; do you have any tips for starting out weightlifting? Including tips for getting over nerves about going to one's college's gym?
YES VERY MUCH I DO
(I'm not sure what level of beginner you are so if any of this advice is too basic or you are left with questions just hmu I'm always down to help! Lifting has really helped my confidence a lot and has been like a miracle for my adhd/mental health/chronic pain so I'm super happy to share!)
Going to the gym at first can be TERRIFYING but I promise that once you get used to it, you'll find it really isn't so bad When you're in that initial phase, my #1 recommendation is to have a plan of action prepared for your first visit. That way you don't feel flustered when you get there and ruin the workout experience for yourself. Deciding before you go what you want to do, (what muscles you wanna work out, if you wanna do free weights or machines, if you're planning to do cardio (running) there, etc) can help lessen anxiety. It's also good to have a bag that is your designated "gym bag" where you can have everything you could possibly need during workout ready at a moment's notice (Like a backup hairtie, waterbottle, spare headphones, deodorant, etc)
Naomi King is a youtuber who helped me a lot when I first started out! She has several videos where she explains how to use specific machines step by step, including all of the details that regular gym goers might not realize aren't intuitive (like how to adjust machines for super short ppl ;_;) If you don't know what kind of exercises target which muscles, she (and other youtubers) have plenty of videos that could help!
You can certainly do a fullbody routine if you'd like, but I find personally that it's a difficult workout to maintain. If you are limited to going once a week then it makes more sense, but otherwise it can take a good hour or more, to do a full body workout. I personally really enjoy being able to pop in and out of the gym in 20min every other day and feel the "gym high" gradually throughout the week Personally, my gym workout routine looks like this:
Day 1: Biceps, (muscle on top of your upper arm, used when lifting a weight up), and back muscles. Day 2: Triceps (muscles on the bottom of your upper arm, used when pulling a weight down), and chest muscles.
Day 3: My favorite! Legs and shoulders. Between each day is a day of rest where your muscles can recover.
Each day should also include some sort of core workout. Core workouts can include crunches, planks, sit-ups, and ab machines. My cardio schedule is honestly just. Whatever days line up with my hair washing schedule. (I refuse to run and then show up to work sweaty LOL). Bikes and treadmills are my favorite, but you should also try stairs and rowing if those are available!
Besides just having a plan, here are a few other tips that could help!
Have a buddy. If you have a friend that is non-judgmental and safe, I highly recommend going together. It helps to keep your focus off everyone else and also keeps you accountable for showing up!
Have a treat waiting for you. I REALLY love Gatorade, and even though its not really a necessity for hydration, I keep a stock of them that I'm not allowed to drink unless i'm working out, so now my brain associates yummy drink with exercise! When I'm with friends, I like to go out for bagels or smoothies afterwards. On weekends when I have more time, I'll make my favorite coffee protein shake as a treat :D
If you're working out alone MUSIC MUSIC MUSIC MUSIC. Have a playlist made ahead of time or else you'll spend forever picking songs between machines. It helps keep you motivated and focused on yourself. For longer cardio workouts, I like to have a podcast ready
Perspective is an important part of going to a gym. PLEASE know that nobody there is judging you or thinking about how you look/are performing. From my experience, they're too busy absorbed in their own thoughts to care about you. Seriously.
This sounds stupid but If you have glasses? Take them off. I sometimes don't wear glasses or contacts in the gym even though I have pretty bad eyesight because that way I can't see other people. Out of sight out of mind I guess?
Some other tips include:
Be careful what your reasoning is for going to the gym. Are you going for health? Confidence? A hobby? Exercise is an excellent way for me to improve my chronic pain and mental health, but if you're going just to change your body you're probably gonna hate it and spend the whole time hyper focused on how your body looks. Learn to pride yourself in your improvement and your commitment to caring for yourself.
DON'T PUSH YOURSELF TOO HARD PLEASE I hate those internet memes that are like "If you don't feel pain the next day you weren't working out hard enough!" ACTUALLY NO THAT MINDSET CREATES INJURIES WE DON'T WANT THAT
I know this sounds dumb but like. What you do outside the gym matters JUST as much if not more than what you're doing in the gym. When you're lifting, your tearing apart your muscle fibers, and if you aren't providing your body with the proper hydration, protein, and sleep it won't be able to repair those muscle fibers with newer and stronger ones, and you will be left instead with several days of muscle soreness and no progress to show for it.
Hopefully this helps!!

Caffeine Chronicles on Cabot: Exploring Beverly’s Best Coffee Shops on Cabot Street
As a Beverly MA resident for the past 3 years, along with being an avid coffee drinker, I have visited almost every coffee joint scattered along Cabot Street. I prefer local places over large corporations like Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks, not only to support them but also because the coffee tends to be better. I have spots that I frequent daily, and some I crave only once in a while…
What’s Brewing Cafe
What’s Brewing is a quaint shop located at 198 Cabot Street in Beverly. Going almost unnoticed, the shop has two table settings out front on the sidewalk. I have been visiting this shop for the past 3 years, and have never been disappointed.
Tumblr media
When you walk in, the wall to your right is coated with hand-written menus. The wall to your left has fliers, supporting local businesses, artists and events. Directly in front of you is the cashier and the pastry box. From donuts to cinnamon rolls, What’s Brewing offers a multitude of delicious bites. The overall atmosphere is one that makes you want to take a seat and hang around for a while. Unfortunately, they do not have an indoor seating area since the shop is so small, however it is still always a pleasure when the visits are brief.
Tumblr media
The menu is large with a variety of sandwiches, coffees, espressos and more. Everytime, I order the butterscotch mocha iced coffee with an everything bagel and cream cheese. As a bagel lover, I would name their bagels the best ones in town. My favorite coffees to browse from are located on the specialty list: a variety of unique coffee flavor combos with something for everyone. The bagels are huge, fluffy, and truly delectable. Never in my life have I had a bagel big enough to last me two whole meals; half for breakfast, then half for lunch. On occasion I get the egg, cheese and pepper sandwich, which gets topped with hot peppers for a bit of spice.
The owner Kevin is as welcoming as it gets; he’s always open to friendly chit chat while he mixes up delicious coffee concoctions. If you have visited What’s Brewing a few times, he will know you by name and have your order memorized.
The pricing is fair, and cheaper than what I am used to compared to the local spots, usually paying ten dollars or less per visit. My typical coffee is five dollars even and my bagel is four. I don’t feel like I'm breaking the bank when I visit, which is very appreciated as a college student.
For a rating out of five coffee mugs, I give What’s Brewing five coffee mugs! I always leave with a smile on my face, and a satisfied belly. I highly recommend you check out this spot, I’m positive you’ll be pleased!

Atomic Cafe
In a hard to miss location sat in the middle of Cabot Street, Atomic Cafe has sparked all the buzz. Two college graduates started roasted their own beans, creating their own coffee line and opening their own shop. Atomic Cafe is located at 268 Cabot Street in Beverly in a big white building with a couple chairs sat out front.
Tumblr media
This shop is my go-to spot to do homework when I need a place to focus; I’ll plug my headphones in and I work far more efficiently here. I discovered this spot about a year ago, and have found that the crowd and employees here are always pleasant.
The interior is large and spacious. There are tables and booths that wrap around the entire restaurant, offering plenty of places to sit. The vibe in the atmosphere is cozy-modern. Everything inside and out is with white, brown or black, with a vintage feel to it. In the back there is a section of branded items; tshirts, sweatshirts, mugs, straws, etc.
The menu has breakfast and lunch options, as well as pastries and of course a variety of coffee drinks. I got a maple latte with an egg and cheese last time, and it cost me around thirteen dollars. It was delicious. When I am looking for lunch food, I order the avocado BLT with the charged chai. I tend to avoid coffee here, as I feel it is more for an acquired taste. It is very bitter and is not my typical go-to.
Tumblr media
My favorite aspect of Atomic Cafe is the juicery in the back left. The first few times I visited, I hadn’t noticed the doorway in the corner leading to Atomic Juicery. The menu offers a variety of health shots, smoothies, pressed juices, and acai bowls. There is a separate seating area back here if you are seeking a quieter place to relax. Here, I typically get the mean green cold pressed juice which consists of kale, lemon, ginger, apple, and some honey.
The pricing is a little steep, but not too far off from typical coffee shops as of late. My green juice is always around twelve dollars for about sixteen ounces and my latte is normally eight dollars; their prices are far more than I am used to paying, but on occasion it’s worth it..
Surprise, there is also a secret door in the back right as well! Copper Dog Books is a bookstore right next door, with a connecting entry way right inside of Atomic Cafe.
Atomic Cafe has landed all over the map: traveling in Beverly and around, many places serve their coffee. At Endicott College Atomic brew is served all over campus. I work at a restaurant called Kitchen Table, they also serve it. I was at a market in Beverly Farms, and guess what they served? They have become successful owners in their venture. I rate Atomic Cafe a four out of five coffee mugs!

Kaffmandu Coffee House and Cafe
Welcome to Kaffmandu Coffee House and Cafe at 280b Cabot Street in Beverly. Through passing, the red-colored exterior appears to be any regular old shop. Upon entering you will be met with the hypnotizing smell of roasted beans and buttery pastries. To your right is an elevated seating area, my favorite place to sit. Around the bannister are some booths and a hallway to the back. Straight ahead is the resistor, surrounded on all sides by cases of pastries; they even offer a large section for gluten free individuals.
Tumblr media
The atmosphere is comfortable; it feels like a typical place to meet up with an old friend. The original Kaffmandu is located in Danvers, and the Beverly location opened in 2022. The shops are all family owned, giving off a comforting and wholesome vibe to both of the locations.
Tumblr media
The large menu hangs over the cashier stand. From hot sandwiches, to cold, from lattes to frappes. Kaffmandu has it all. Their coffee is fairtrade and organic, and tastes truly delicious. I got the toffee drizzle latte and almost melted to the floor. From the wide variety of sandwiches I usually get the turkey and veggie wrap, that they top with their homemade veggies cream cheese that add the nicest touch.
The pricing is fair, with my latte being around six dollars, and my sandwich being about ten with decently sized portions. On top of this, Kaffmandu Cafe offers a discount to all Endicott College students who arrive with their school identification card. Pop over to Kaffmandu Coffee House and Cafe at any time of day for a little pick me up, they got your back!
To rate this shop, I will give them four and a half coffee mugs out of five!

3 MORE MONTHS to 2023
From my human eyes, jujur takut banget nulis ini.. but it's said feed your mind with faith.
That picture is what I've been having in head for few years. It's my ideal place to have a date, romantically chilling while in the autumn/cold, and even my pre-wedding photo theme. I think I had this picture since in NL, and with that Koko, Oppa or whoever oriental guy I had in mind.
But nope, no guy come to that yet HAHAHA, kapan ya gw nulis di tumblr kalo that one guy has finally come :''' God knows (merinding sendiri nulisnya).
Ok let's flash back. So the last update about the singaporean guy is called TWY (chinese name GUYS). At first, I thought he was alright, similar passion, way of thinking, live in Bali, but on our 2nd date (meeting), I found out that he is a Buddhist, with Kwan Im shrines in his villa. Well, well, well I was so disappointed, I asked God why, I got myself out of him, knowing that God is either giving me mission to help him see the light or tempting me HAHAHAH. Anyway I withdrew from him, went to Jakarta, Bandung and had a pleasant trip. I was shown that there are plenty of guy out there better than forcing myself to end up with TWY. Also during the service at HMCC, God showed me that I should move on and not playing with fire.
May's highlight: I went to Singapore, also a hightlight cos I download Coffee meet bagels, and found many single christian guys, its just none of them like me or has a future with me in Bali. HAHAHA. Experiencing other country for the 1st time since pandemic is a blessing. I love my freedom, chinese culture, foods, good public transport, but oh my the kiasuness n expensive life made me so grateful when I returned to Bali
I close 6 deals in the kavling PD, also another 4 in Apple. Thank God thank God I cannot be more blessed and surprised, it's all Him. Thank you Mba Gathi, Ochi dkk, Nic, Ivan & Pak David.
July, I went crazy with house sale in Bandung, but also so relieved that I no longer have that burden back home. I also managed to buy a land, OMG my 1st property in Bali, thank you God for replacing what I left, sold, sacrificed in the past. You made it so easy just to do things according to your will.
Me n TWY remains friends as we got close a bit during my HMCC friends came, also Pak David n Ivan. However it made me realize we better just keep remaining be friends. He gave me idea to build a villa for rent with the money from Bandung. So I had a deal with the Architect, Pak Hendra, he's the best. I'm still hesitate to choose a contractor and also to decide how much should I put in money to this investment.
Tumblr media
with all those things I'm grateful for, I also have many days when I struggle, trying to motivate myself to stay alive for another day, some days are depressing cause I lose hope, I don't find life exciting anymore, etc.
However, God also answer my prayer regarding church in Bali. Maybe beginning of June, HMCC Jkt decided to only hold onsite congregration so I was kind of forced to resign from membership. I was confused, trying online Grace Church sgp, GKY, etc until Bella shared that she will open a new service at her parents' house. Idk if it's not an answer to prayer.
And afterwards, her Dad got so sick n I was the only person available to accompany, take care, etc. And God was just so gracious, that it happened when I had so much savings from commisions and house selling. I borrowed her fam money and did everything I possibly could, while staying in Marlene's jie house while she & the fam back in NZ. Phewww..
Since then, I commit to Yewon church Bali, being in touch with Bella's fam, and even her Korean guests, etc. In my heart, idk what else is God trying to work in me. Also I got cheap ticket to Seoul on July, then decided to go for Yewon's church conference and a bit of trip with Nongky n her bro sis. HAHAHA, seems like my KDrama life will come true. I'm still praying for my visa though, been struggling these past 2 weeks, however God's will be done, I'm applying for multiple entry visa.
Tumblr media
With all these, I just have to remind myself, to pray like Elijah:
Know and acknowledge who He is (God of Abraham)
Know who I am (servant)
Answer my prayer Lord (boldly)
Bring the people back to You (His Kingdom first above all else)
"Answer me Lord, answer me, so these people will know that you Lord are God and that you are turning their hearts back again" - 1 Kings 18:37
Oh ya, I'm leading BSF now, also still teach Norman, thinking of joining Ministry at church, and still approaching new clients (PRAY PRAY PRAY so I have more confidence to build the Villa for God's glory with humble heart) and Visa Korea, and View-ture husband HAHAHA. Alright goodnight kind Lord, Love You, saranghaeyo.

Do it for me [m.m]
Tumblr media
C.W. Toys, overstimulation, praise kink, use of blindfolds, impact play, sensory deprivation, crying, degradation, a little d/s, unprotected sex, oral (f receiving), fem! reader, begging, squirting
Summary: Matt hears a sex toy from blocks away and decides its a worthy investment.
word count: 3471
Notes: My first (of many hopefully) one shots to be posted. Unedited so send any feedback my way. Also semi new to the DD fandom, thanks for having me :) Also check out my masterlist for my other works and what I'm working on currently.
Matt didn’t typically need any sort of accessories in the bedroom. After months of experimenting and carefully documenting your body's responses to the angles of his hand or the pressure of his tongue he had a very clear understanding of your body’s needs.
Yet, he found it exceptionally difficult to pass up the opportunity of a new gadget as he came across one he could hear the demo for from a block away.
A few stops later and he would be ready for dinner tonight. Deciding on something light so that he may eat his fill (of anything he may like) and still have a chance to go on patrol.
Setting the kitchen table he heard the flick of the light switch and the buzz of the lightbulb above his head. He was still adapting to this new living situation, lights being left on or turned off when he had known no difference but the drone of the coil inside.
Often he would lay down in bed beside you with three or four of the lights left on inside the apartment. It was endearing, as was your promise of kissing him for each lightbulb he had to get up to turn off. Even more often he’d ask to kiss in specific places. The back of your neck to feel the chill fall down your spine, the collarbones to hear the flutter as your eyelashes shut. You both knew that he had begun to do it on purpose, as much as you assured him that he could kiss you anytime he felt like it, he still liked the little game it grew into. No harm, no foul.
“Murdock?” you chuckled with a small eye roll. Watching him cook in the dark was a little fascinating albeit a little unnerving, especially seeing him cut things like fruit or vegetables.
“Oh, sorry. Come sit down sweetheart, I'm just putting dinner together.” That signature smirk, the one that got him out of court cases, bills, interrogations, and the occasional bar tab, playing across his face.
You could almost feel your mouth start to water, there was a strong scent of lemon in the kitchen and as you peered around to see if you could piece together what exactly he had cooked up he stepped directly into your eyesight.
“Caesar salad with some chicken, I had to make my own dressing. The bottle I had bought was absolutely horrid. Luckily Ms.Bridges paid us in fruit so I have plenty of lemons.” A proud smile spread across his face followed by a small chuckle as your stomach began to growl. One hand falling to rest of your ass to pull you in for a kiss, he licked lightly at your bottom lip.
“Mm, smells delightful all I had to eat today was some burnt coffee and a stale bagel from the breakroom, we didn’t even have cream cheese could you believe that? You spoil me, how could I ever-” He protested slightly at your words, you knew that he hated it when you didn’t eat properly throughout the day.
“I’ll tell you how I’d like to be repaid later, will you get some ice water out on the table? I’m sure you haven’t quite had enough today.” He heard the twinge in his own voice, if he sounded as eager as he felt there was no way you would let him get away with what he had planned.
He had come home early, changed the bedding and added a waterproof mattress pad below his expensive sheets, made sure he had an extra set clean and made sure he had an adequate amount of filtered water in the fridge. He was going to make you cum as many times as humanly possible tonight, because he knew what you were capable of and his new toy would make it even more fun to push the limit of those boundaries.
You finished washing the dishes from earlier, finishing your glass of water and putting the cup on the drying rack. When you felt Matt’s strong hands on your shoulders massaging out the knots that had come from the last few stressful days. “Thank you for doing the dishes beautiful. You’ve been such a good girl for me and I’d like to reward you.”
Your head tilted to the side almost on instinct, granting him, no asking him to kiss you there. Eagerly following your lead he placed a few wet kisses starting at the collar of your blouse and working his way toward your earlobe where he took it between his teeth and growled, “I am going to have you for as long as I want you tonight, and you're going to take all of me like the perfect little whore you are.”
Your mouth fell open at the thought, you knew that he had something planned when dinner was taken care of before you even walked in the door, usually it involved a night of rooftop games or a walk in the park followed by hours of Matt’s face buried in your cunt. It seemed tonight was getting straight to the action.
“Is that a promise?” Quirking an eyebrow, you nuzzled your cheek to his stubble and pressed into him.
“Mm, it's not in question. You don’t have any other options sweetheart,” he takes a deep breath, “Yet, I don’t see you wanting it any other way.”
It was true, you could feel the all too familiar build of heat in the pit of your stomach, blood rushing between your legs and your cheeks. You were a little embarrassed. You had gotten used to his ability to smell your arousal, tasting it on the air any chance he could get, but there was a little part of you that felt ashamed of how easy it was for him to rile you up.
Your eyes fell shut as you felt the warmth of his hands run over your blouse, undoing the buttons one by one each punctuated with soft kisses down your shoulder blades as they were revealed. He bit at your bra strap pulling it away and letting it snap back with a small sting.
“On your knees for me.”
No hesitation on your part, you sank down, still facing away from him. His hand crept up the back of your neck rooting in your hair, gripping it and pulling your head back to look at him.
He was so undeniably beautiful, his lips plump and parted slightly tongue darting out to taste you on the air, and his hair already a fluffy mess atop his head, and man you could not wait to tangle your fingers in it while he ate you out like his life depended on it.
His hand ran up to your cheek stroking it with his fingers. You keened, leaning into his warmth as he slipped his thumb in between your lips, pressing on your tongue as you opened your mouth wider for him.
It was his turn to shiver, “So gorgeous.” His other hand reaches back and reveals his old black mask.
A puzzled look plastered to your face, and you know he sensed the skip of your heart and the tension of your face change.
You saw the shadow in his blank eyes, the quirk of his jaw, and the air in the room felt heavy. The devil was upon you and he was telling you to wear his mask.
Letting out a huff of air in approval you sidled up closer to him, “Such a good girl, I just have something I’d like to surprise you with a time or two before I let you see the marks I’m going to be leaving on this flawless skin of yours.”
The mask fit over your head easily enough, the smell of his skin had sunk into the fabric, musky, salty, with just a faint scent of copper left over from his victories. It was intoxicating, the world was black, only the sound of his shoes scuffing on the floor indicating he had walked away. Your own heartbeat seemed to be pounding its way out of your chest, enraptured by this man who had deviled his way into your life, and he was not about to let up any time soon.
His hand reappeared on your back out of nowhere, a flash of heat across your cool skin, his ability to move silently would definitely come in handy tonight.
He bent to scoop you up into his arms, holding you to his suddenly bare chest. Determined to press every inch of skin together you nuzzle your face against him, nose bumping into the cool touch of the cross he wears around his neck. You make the decision to press a kiss to it, and then lightly draw it between your teeth and tug.
His breath hitches and you sense just the slightest change of his gait, “Such a dirty girl. That pretty mouth of yours gets you everything you ask for.”
The strength of his arms never fails to amaze you, he lowers you on the bed, the familiar caress of the silk sheets welcome to your soft skin. The roughness of his knuckles brush against the tender sensitive flesh of your breasts.
There was irony in how absolutely disorienting being unable to see him was, and with every stroke of his fingers across your skin. The urge to see the smirk that was plastered to his smug face was almost as your need to satiate him.
“Matt, can I please take this off? I wanna see your face.” you whined. Just as his fingers brushed a circle around your nipple, pulling a startled sound from you.
“Deep breath angel, I wanna hear you come undone for me first.” His lips met yours, the kiss was intoxicatingly slow, agonizing even, you heard the jingle of his belt buckle, the slide of the leather across his palm.
“Give me your hands.” a shy smile fell to your face but you held them in front of you eager to feel him. Instead you felt the cool leather slide onto your wrists, tightening with a jerk. “Lay back and keep them over your head, be good for me please.”
With a huff, you obliged. Feeling more exposed with every second passing, his scent swirling around you bringing a little comfort to your brain. You listened attentively, trying to picture the layout of the room and where he could possibly be standing. You made a small kissy noise, asking for just a slight indication of where he was standing over you.
You felt the bed dip slightly, something cold falling to rest on the side of your thigh, and his warm soft lips pressed to the corner of your mouth. His body was burning above you. One of his hands comes to cradle your head towards him, tongue just barely touching your lips savoring your taste.
He inched lower, feeling the ends of his hair tickle your chin as he kissed the tender flesh between your collarbones, taking one of them between his teeth and sucking a small deep mark to your skin.
His stubble dragged across your skin in sweet agony, marking you with his scent and relishing the squeaks and pants you made beneath him when he drug his chin over your nipple before cooling the burn with his tongue.
When he got to your hips he bit at them with a little more tenacity, his breathing growing deeper as he inhaled the scent of your arousal. He could smell the mixture of your need and his own perfuming the air, groaning as he settled in between your thighs.
You winced, the soft flesh of your inner thigh being rolled between his teeth. A hand came to rest on your hips and he shifted his face, licking a bold strip through your folds. His thumb rubbing circles over the ebbing pain of his mark on your hip bone.
Matt continued teasing licks at your center, never quite the pressure or place you were aching for, your hips starting to shift attempting to push his sinful mouth against you for relief.
“Use your words angel, what do you want?” his voice was ragged and strained.
Without thinking you reached to fist his hair in your hands, eager to cum on his mouth.
You grasped at air, suddenly the warmth of his body was gone and you let out a low whine. You heard his wicked chuckle and all at once your senses were flooded.
His hand grabbed your jaw, shoving his index finger onto your tongue and pulled you towards his face, while his other hand slapped the inside of your thigh with a sharp crack.
“You were being so good darling, what happened? So needy you can’t follow simple instructions?”
Shame flooded your chest, “I’m sorry, I want you so bad Matt,” you choked around his finger, as the sting from another slap spread across your thigh again, “please. It won’t happen again.” You sucked lightly on his finger, letting your tongue swirl around him.
You felt his hand slide up and down your pussy, cupping you for a moment before letting his middle finger sink inside of you. Fighting every urge to grind down on his hand, his thumb starting to rub slow circles around your clit changing pressure every few circles. It was luxurious.
You could sense the flex of his wrist as he added a second finger and began pressing up into you in deep firm strokes.
Your body was starting to climb the ladder of your release, but something felt different. Rather than a white hot burn you felt an intense amount of pressure building from deep inside you.
Matt could feel it, he could feel that spot inside you growing firmer and your body tightening as it was nearing its release. He also heard the leap of your heart, you didn’t know what was happening. He let a smirk befall his lips, “Let go sweetheart, I’ve got you.”
You gasped, as you felt your body shake violently, clenching on Matt's fingers and a rush of fluid gushed over your thighs. He was unrelenting, thumb pushing harder and rubbing faster against your clit, and his wrist also quickening its pace. Like that you came, body flushing and your hands gripping at the pillows above you, you could almost cry at how overwhelming the drag of his fingers felt inside of you. Uttering a few curses under your breath as he settled himself between your legs again.
Wasting no time, he began by licking the inside of your thighs, moaning against them as he savored the sickly sweet taste of your release. His boxers were painfully tight and the cool draft that ran through the apartment teased the bead of precome on his tip. The hitch of your breath as he lapped at your sensitive clit combined with the smell of your sex as your legs wrapped around his head could’ve finished him then and there.
He wrapped his hands on your thighs and pried them apart so he could sit up and run his hands over your body, before reaching for the vibrator that came to rest against your hip. He felt the heavy weight of it in his hand, and laid it gently on top of your clit.
“Is that-” click.
The low hum filled the room, you shifted your hips away from it, “Fuck Matt it hurts, I can’t.” You panted, the intensity of the toy against you felt like it was going to burn into your flesh.
“Shh, you can do it for me baby, I love you so much.” He laid his forearm across your hips holding you in place, pressing down slightly harder with the toy.
You ached. The vibrator was pulling you over the edge so quickly you couldn’t even utter a warning before coming a second time practically thrashing against the bed. Your hands still pulling at the pillows above you, white knuckled, shoulders lifting off the bed as your back arched. Tears began to well in your eyes, the sound of the vibrator and the blood rushing through your ears the thing your brain could focus on until you heard another click and the humming faded out.
“Making so many beautiful noises for me sweetheart. Do you still want the blindfold off?” he whispered. You noticed he had shifted his position once more, running his hands down your thighs in a soothing manner.
“Yes please.” You closed your eyes expecting the world to be the cruel white light of the overhead light, but as you opened your eyes this light was red and blue, casting the most beautiful colors across his scarred chest and his pale face.
His hair was plastered to his forehead with sweat, lips swollen and glossy. The shifting color of the billboard was framing his body in the most picturesque way, highlighting the shapes of his biceps, the sharp lines of his collar bones and the light trail of hair leading from his navel to the black hem of his boxers.
He analyzed your breath, letting your heart rate slow while he sat letting you gawk at him, he could sense your eyes raking over him like lasers. He cocked his head and raised an eyebrow as he heard the blood rush between your legs again.
He let out an exasperated sigh, “Such a needy little whore. Hands.” He caught them as you hurriedly shoved them forward, loosening the belt and sliding it off your wrists.
Sitting up so quickly your head began to spin and you pulled him for a deep kiss running one hand into his hair tugging lightly, and dipping the other hand into his boxers, desperately tugging at his aching cock.
He moaned into your mouth, rutting into your hand. He let you pump him a few more times before he shoved you back down onto the bed, yanking his boxers off and tossing them to the floor.
You watched his hand reach above you pulling the pillow you had clung to for dear life and he effortlessly lifted your hips on to it with a smirk. You pulled him flush against you with your legs, thick cock just teasing your entrance.
“Please Matthew, I need you inside me.” shifting your hips to grind against him.
His breath faltered as he gave up his control, he hurriedly sunk himself to the hilt. He started at a brutal pace, fucking into you like his life depended on it with strong and purposeful thrusts. He loved hearing the squelch of your cunt as it clung to him slick and hot, the slapping of his hips to yours punctuating every stab of your cervix.
Your weak little grunts egging him on, he reached for the vibrator again. Click
The noise was louder this time, and with an impossible jerk you bucked as it settled against your clit again, this time vibrating at an even more agonizing pace.
It was Matt’s turn to fall apart, he drawled, “God, I can feel the vibrator through you.” His pace was beginning to stutter and you knew he was getting close, twitching inside you.
He snaked a hand around your throat, “Come on my cock sweetheart, I wanna feel that pretty pussy cum while I cum inside it do you hear me?”
You thoughtlessly shook your head, and he applied more pressure with the head of the vibrator waiting for confirmation. “Yes, please.” you cried, tears falling from your eyes, digging your nails into the muscles on his back. The same pressure was building in the pit of your stomach with every jab of his cock, you made miserable attempts to speak praising the way he felt inside you.
You faltered, muscles contracting as you came for a third time, you felt yourself clenching around him. A few more strokes and he uttered a single fuck as he pushed into you as deep as could before letting himself spill into your cunt.
He buried his head into your neck turning the vibrator off, chucking it to the side and letting his arms collapse and resting his entire weight on you.
You ran your fingers up and down his back. “I love you so much Matt, you’re so good to me.” You gave him a kiss on the forehead, and you felt the teeth of his smile press into your throat.
He let out a soft mmm and pressed a kiss to your pulse. You laid there together for a little while, before Matt stood up and brought you a warm rag to clean off with.
“I’ll be back soon, just a quick lap around the city I promise.” he expected you to protest but you just motioned for another kiss goodbye.

REINER BRAUN: Movie night with friends
Reiner just couldn’t help himself, he really couldn’t. The first sight of you in your silky pajama shorts and this man’s thoughts were going crazy watching you parade around the house as you grabbed the snacks and needed materials for tonight’s movie night with some of you guys’ friends. Luckily the fabric of his pajama pants were loose enough to hide the growing boner in his pants, but of course he made it known to you by approaching you from behind and pressing it against your ass so you could feel just how hard you had made him simply by looking pretty.
His hands began to roam all over your body, stealing a grope of your breast, and his mouth attached to your neck, taking breaks in between kisses to tell you how good you look and how much you riled him up. As good as it all felt, Pieck and Porco were only right down the street, so you took his hands off of your body with promises of making him feel better later in the night once they had left. You’re lucky he doesn’t like quickies like that and prefers to take his time with you or else he would’ve taken you right there up against that counter chile.
Pieck and Porco finally arrive and what was supposed only be one movie turned into two, and now here you were snuggled up under Reiner on a completely different couch than Porco and Pieck while they flipped through a catalogue on the television looking for a new movie to start up; Reiner growing more and more impatient as the minutes went on. The constant caressing on your thigh and pinches he would give your nipples every now and then giving that away completely.
You got tired of fighting his advances off a long time ago and part of you wanted him to continue, to see how far he would actually go, because truth is you wanted him just as much as he wanted you right now. You were just a lot better at hiding it.
It was halfway through the movie that he finally decides to make a drastic move, moving you to a position where your back was pressed against his chest and tapping your hips, signifying for you to raise them so he could pull your shorts down to your thighs.
“Sit still for the rest of the night and I’ll reward us both so good once they leave.” He’d whisper in your ear. The only warning you’d get before he’s slowly easing his cock into you careful not to stretch you out too much, but the wetness that accumulated between your legs all night long makes it so you swallow him completely. A shocked moan leaving both of your lips, but luckily being silenced by the action scene on the tv; both Porco and Pieck too into it to even pay attention to the two of you.
So desperately you wanted to swirl your hips up against you, create any sort of friction to make his cock hit that spot in your soft velvety walls that left you clenching and squealing and him growling into your ears, but instead you had to be as still as possible while cockwarming him. Not being too careful would surely draw the attention of the other two, but Reiner still tested the waters every now and then by shifting every so often on purpose to cause movement.
He was even able to draw a weird moan out of you once that had Porco and Pieck looking over at you like you were crazy, questioning if you were okay which you had no choice but to reply yes to. Barely able to get that out because the feeling of his cock throbbing inside of you mixed with your walls clenching around him was a whole sensation on its own.
“Careful, you don’t want them knowing that I’m balls deep in you right now would you? Or would a slut like you enjoy that; them knowing that your pussy is swallowing my cock whole right now?”
Reiner is degrading during sex sometimes and you cannot tell me otherwise #sorrynotsorry.
And when he said the two of you would be staying like this the whole night until they left he absolutely meant it. After that little moaning incident he surprisingly acted normal the whole night, like the two of you weren’t even doing what you were doing underneath the cover. Knowing how torturous it must be for him to deny you the skin to skin contact and hip bucking you needed from him.
ERWIN SMITH: In a restaurant surrounded by friends
You never thought Erwin to be the bold type to try something out in public with you. The closest thing the two of you have done to it was a quick quickie in his office once with you pressed against the window of the skyscraper building it was located in, but even then you could feel the anxiety in his muscles as he pressed himself up against you; scared of an assistant or important business partner to come barging in on the two of you.
So you can imagine the shock on your face when you were spending the night out with friends at a restaurant, preoccupied with listening to Levi’s horror stories at his tea shop when you felt the ghostly tingles of Erwin’s fingers trail up on your thigh. A hand on your knee was nothing, something he had done plenty of times as a small sign of PDA, but this was different. You looked over to him with a questioned look in your eyes, but his kept his eyes straight and responded to you physically by pressing his thumb against the cloth that separated his finger from your clit.
Almost immediately you choked on the spit going down your throat which garnered the attention from everyone else at the table asking if you were alright. Everyone but Erwin turned to you and if they were truly paying attention that would’ve been a major sign that something was up, but your quick, “I’m okay!” Response had them off your back in an instance and only edged Erwin on more, fingers pushing your panties to the side as he continued on.
The food in front of you hadn’t been touched in around 10 mins since you found yourself full before you were able to finish it all, but you had to pick up your fork and abruptly take a bite of of it when you felt Erwin’s long fingers plunge into you with ease from your wetness and curl up into you; the metal between your teeth the best attempt you had at covering up your moans.
You swear you saw a slight smirk on his lips when you glanced over at him because he’s a menace to society like that.
His hands moved so languidly inside of you hitting all the right spots and pressing down on the sensitive parts of you that always guaranteed a reaction out of you. While also simultaneously still rubbing your clit with his thumb in wide circles, enjoying every twist and turn he saw your face do as you tried desperately to hold your moans in.
At one point, to mess with you even more, he leaned in and whispered into your ear, “You think all these people know that your cunt is clenching around my fingers about to cum?” No one else heard him but you, but it definitely drew the attention of Levi who threw a confused look your way. To which you could only reply to with a smile and awkward chuckle that almost broke out into a moan because Erwin thought it would be a good idea to speed up his fingers.
You didn’t care how obvious it looked anymore, your teeth found comfort in the skin of his arm to stifle moans and your fingers had a death grip on his thighs as your orgasm hit you like a wave. Leaving you with nothing to do but grind your hips down into his fingers slowly to not draw attention as you rode out his orgasm. His fingers were covered in your slick as he pulled them off of you and instead of being discreet and wiping them on his pants or even your dress, he picked up a small dessert off his plate and turned to you. Feeding it to you and sticking his fingers a little too far in your mouth so you can clean your own orgasm off of your fingers. His thumb going between his own lips once he took his fingers out of your mouth and sucking on it gently. “That was delicious.” He would state, never breaking eye contact with you.
The tent in his dressy slacks gave away all the excitement he was feeling on the inside as he watched you squirm in your seat while he did something so naughty to you in public. He couldn’t take it anymore, placing his share of the bill on the table and excusing the both of you for the night before going around and saying your goodbyes. No one seemed to notice anything, except for when you went to Levi to give him a goodbye hug and he whispered in your ear, “Next time get a room or go to the bathroom you freaks.” You totally weren’t embarrassed and didn’t leave the restaurant with warm cheeks.
ZEKE JAEGER: During a zoom meeting
First off, sexy time stuff aside, Zeke is a menace to society and always interrupting your zooms. Whether it’s him barging into the room and asking a question like “Did you eat the last bagel?” While you’re unmuted or walking behind you with his shirt off while you have you camera on. You will never know a peaceful smooth sailing zoom meeting with Zeke in the house.
But you were immune to it at this point and he was a little too immune and comfortable with messing with you while you were in them. But hey, you couldn’t blame him! You looked all too good to him while you laid in the bed on your stomach in one of his band tees and nothing else while you payed attention to the boring lecture happening on your laptop.
Once he realized that your camera was off his hands were on you immediately, rubbing up and down your legs to signify to you that he was in a mood while he made his way on the bed behind you.
“You can’t just be walking around the house all sexy like this and expect me not to pounce on you.”
You want to say something snarky and remarkable back, but a distraction from your boring ass class is exactly what you needed. So instead of protesting this time around, you arched your back so your ass was nearly up to his face to which he replied with playfully slapping you on it and even taking a nibble of your cheek. And because you’re a menace to society you run your own hand along your clothed slit and moving your panties out of the way to put it on display for him.
“I could really use some distracting right now.” Say less, this man’s mouth is on your clit in an instant, devouring you like you’re his first meal of the day. Your hips instinctively grinding down against his tongue as he moved his focus to sucking on your clit at a pace that left you ass up face down on the bed moaning like a pornstar. Never mind his beard scraping against your thighs and possibly leaving a rash there later for you to deal with. It adds a nice touch of pain to your pleasure.
So caught up into the pleasure warming up your lower stomach, you don’t even notice your teacher calling on you until Zeke reaches out and taps on the keyboard to move your attention back to the zoom in front of you, his mouth still working magic on your clit; a mixture of his spit and your juices trailing down his chin. The site is enough to make you cum but you’re forced to divert your eyes away from it as you unmute yourself, quickly asking her to repeat the question, going back on mute before they can hear the slurping noises that Zeke obnoxiously made louder once you unmuted.
“I’m going to kill you.” “Pay attention to school sweetheart before I stop completely. Education comes first!” What an asshole, but despite the joking tone of his voice you know he’d stop in a heartbeat just to mess with you and you’re too close to an orgasm for him to up and quit like that.
From the way your hips move sloppily against his face he can tell that you’re close, but once the teacher repeats the question at you to answer he pulls away completely seemingly to cut you some slack. But, surprise, he only moves his mouth away to replace it with his cock, sliding into you with ease and thrusting into you at a steady pace that has you moan loudly into the microphone on accident.
His face lights up with a smug expression and smile, the embarrassment on your cheeks making him pick up his pace and turning him on in a way. “Now your whole class is going to know that you were getting fucked by me. Too busy getting your hole pounded to even pay attention to the lesion. What a dirty little slut, they’re probably talking about you right now as we speak.”
You’re at a loss of words, not only because of embarrassment but because you can barely form a sentence from the way Zeke is pounding into you so ruthlessly from behind. His hand even coming forward and grabbing at your neck to balance himself against the bed while on his knees.
Your morning with him is far from over and the embarrassment from this zoom is going to last with you forever.
LEVI ACKERMAN:  On an important phone call
I know Levi Ackerman with his hands around our necks really get us going and the thought of dom him fucking us from behind while on the phone with our boss  makes us feel butterflies in our stomachs....BUT the thought of sub Levi whimpering and having to put his phone on mute while discussing business with someone because you have his cock halfway down your throat, is an equally as hot image.
He would glance at you from over his phone and let out a silent “What are you doing?” And make a faint shooing away motion in the air to make you leave, but he doesn’t want you to leave. You know that and he knows that which is why when you went to unbuckle his pants he gladly let you, hips even raising slightly so you can pull them down enough to let his cock and balls free from the restraints of his underwear and pants.
It was such a sudden and rash decision on your end that he wasn’t even hard at all when you pulled him out, but one lick from the base of his cock to the tip of it is enough to make it stand tall. Warranting a deep intake of air that has the person on the other end of the line asking if he was okay. Between the embarrassment from nearly being caught and the pleasure exploding in his lower half from how good you’re working your mouth, his cheeks are flushed with a bright pink color.
“Do you want me to stop” “no, no, keep going, please.”
He’s so needy and close to that sweet release already, the excitement from doing something so naughty while the person on the other end of the phone has no idea has his senses in an overload. Even the broken ‘Y-Yes’s that have to leave his lips every time he unmutes his phone strikes an excited nerve in him that he didn’t know he had; wishing he could moan as freely as he could to show off how good you make him feel, but he bites back those moans with his teeth. Instead opting for a number of praises when he can.
“You look so pretty on your knees in front of me with your cock in my mouth.” “You make me feel so so good, you don’t even know how good I feel right now because of you.” “Keep that up and I’m going to cum.”
Eyes closing shut and breath picking up the closer he gets. His hand even coming down to move your head at a pace that feels godly around his cock.
Usually you would tease and pull away altogether when he did this, reminding him that he couldn’t be too needy, but you would be lying if you said this didn’t have just as much of affect on him as it did on you, thighs clenching together with each bob of your head and moan that left his lips that he couldn’t quite bite back.
He’s an incoherent mess at the end, lips not even able to move together to form sentences and his hips bucking up wildly into your throat to release his load down your throat. His hips still bucking up slightly even after he came because it just felt that good. His mind was so clouded with pleasure that he didn’t even notice the person on the phone had hung up a long time ago, something he would have to deal with later but that proved helpful right now.
“I hope you don’t think that this was it.” Oops, now you awoke the dominant side of Levi’s switch personality and he’s definitely not letting you off the hook for this one.

Just Friends (Reader x Chris Evans)
Pairing: Reader x Chris Evans
Prompt: “you say we are just friends, but friends don’t know the way you taste” but with a happy ending? - Anon
Warnings: R rating, Some sexual content/Smut, Minors DNI. Brief mentions of/allusions to anxiety.
Authors Notes: This is my first prompt fill on here in years, so I might be a little rusty any feedback is appreciated, please let me know if there’s anything I missed warning or tagging. I also didn’t intend for this to be so long but I got a little carried away with it.
When you and Chris first met, you had been young, wide eyed, fresh faced kids. He was barely 20, filming at your old high school, and you a member of the local theatre group were recruited as an extra. You had graduated a year prior and were coming to the end of your gap year, you would be going to college in a few short months. After seeing each other in passing on set, you and Chris had your first conversation in the kraft services trailer, both leaning in to grab the last remaining bagel. After a back and forth of “you take it” “no you” “seriously its okay” you agreed to split it and thus began your friendship.
It was weird, from that first day you had a connection like neither of you had experienced with anyone else. You talked daily, would be each other’s dates to your friends weddings, hung out with each other’s families without the other around. You were mistaken for boyfriend and girlfriend many times throughout your years of friendship but that was never what it was about. You’d both dated plenty, often times ending relationships because the person you were seeing couldn’t deal with your closeness to each other. But for you both that was just how it was, and if they couldn’t accept it then they weren’t worth your time. Maybe they were right, you had always had a crush on Chris, and you had a feeling it was reciprocated but you’d always had an understanding, a common ground that you were friends and that’s all you’d ever needed to be.
The first time you had edged into more than friends territory was on Chris’ 37th birthday. You had thrown him a party at his house and he had been a little, okay a lot drunk and while you weren’t far behind him you were still sober enough to take care of his messy ass. After everyone had left you had attempted to clean up a bit, collecting garbage and wiping down the kitchen, the whole time Chris was passed out on his couch. You had managed to wake him enough to get him up and into his bedroom, out of his jeans and shoes and into his bed. You bought him a glass of water and two Advil placing them on his beside table, him grabbing your wrist as you placed the water down, pulling you on top of him into a half hug as he tended to do when he was drunk. He’d always been touchy when he was drunk, letting his hands linger on you longer than normal but it had always been innocent. He mumbled something into your ear, something he’d said a million times, and you replied the same response you had given a million more. But what he said next had changed it all.
“No, not like that”
It stopped you in your tracks because what did he mean not like that. It had to be like that. It had always been like that. This wasn’t how this went. Not for the two of you. You weren’t “those” friends.
“Then like what” you had whispered, panic setting in, soberness hitting you like a Mack truck as you looked back at him. But of course he had fallen asleep again, dead to the world, arm wrapped around your waist as you perched on the edge of his bed. Silence filling the air except for the light snoring he was emitting.
The next morning you had been awoken by clattering coming from the kitchen. Stumbling out of the guest room you walked in to Chris attempting to make breakfast, standing in the door way you watched him, his eyes squinted and slow moving, lingering proof of his previous inebriation. He was making blueberry pancakes, it was a post birthday tradition, but you were usually the one who made them for him on the day after his birthday.
Seeing him standing there sliding another half burnt pancake onto the stack he had started made you smile, he tried bless him, but he was never great in the kitchen. The conversation from last night soon flooded your memory and you couldn’t stop yourself.
“What did you mean”
Chris looked up from pouring more batter into the pan, finally noticing your presence.
“Morning” he mumbled, clearly not fully awake yet “What do you mean, what did I mean?”
“Last night, in your room, you said you loved me...”
“I always say I love you?” He let out a low chuckle but looked confused, you weren’t sure if he really didn’t remember or if he was just pleading ignorance, usually you were quick to spot if he was lying but this time your radar couldn’t pin it. He turned his attention back to flipping the pancake in the pan.
“Yeah but when I said I love you too bestie... you said ‘No, not like that’ what did you mean?”
His head snapped up, redness filling his cheeks, and it was in that moment that you had known things were changing whether you had wanted them to or not.
“Oh” you said, your breath escaping you, as the realization hit.
“Yeah” he said eyes focused on the pancake burning in the pan.
“Chris...”
He pulled the pan off the stove dumping the last pancake on the plate before placing the pan in the sink letting the cold water run over it before turning back to face you.
“I don’t...what do you want me to say” He started, raising his voice slightly, obviously flustered. “You want me to say I was drunk and didn’t know what I was saying? Because I cant okay, I can’t say that. Would I have said it if I were sober? No, probably not...in fact definitely not. But I did and I can’t take it back or just pretend I didn’t because I do love you, I’ve always loved you”
“I’ve always loved you too Chris” you looked up, your eyes connecting with his blue ones.
“Yeah, but not in the same way” he stepped around the counter standing in front of you now, his frame towering over yours.
“Said who”
“What”
“Who said I don’t love you in the same way?”
Chris lunged forward, one hand grasping your waist, the other coming up to cup your face as he leant down, his lips pressing against yours gently. It took you a second to realize what was happening before your hands found their way around his neck pulling him down to you, deepening the kiss.
From that day onward you became the friends who make out occasionally, it wasn’t the right time for you to try and be anything more, yes you loved each other, more deeply than you first understood but your lives were all over the place, you were rarely in the same city for more than a few weeks at a time and Chris’ career was exploding more than ever. It wasn’t the right time. So you’d both take what you could get when you could get it and that was enough for either of you.
It wasn’t until Chris’ 38th birthday a year later that you let things go any further. He had wanted a small celebration, so you had gone to dinner with a few friends, had a few drinks and then headed back to his place to watch a movie. You had been cuddled up on the couch, passing a beer back and forth between you when he placed it down on the coffee table, his hand sliding down your thigh, before pulling you into his lap. You had placed your knees on either side of his thighs, your hands on his shoulders while his trailed down your sides and over your hips before slowly moving to cup your ass. You leant down to place a soft kiss on his lips, him reattaching them as soon as you pulled away, biting your lower lip roughly.
There was something different in the way he was kissing you, the way he was touching you, more heat, more passion. Your hands were running down his chest as his grip on your ass tightened, holding you close to him, the intensity taking over. Before you knew it your shirt was on the floor and his hands were sliding up your back as your lips found their way to his neck. There was a tenacity in every movement, every touch, every kiss. His hands finding the clasp of your bra, undoing it with ease and discarding it with your shirt on the floor. He pulled away slightly, his eyes raking over your body perched on top of him, eyes filled with need and want, pushing up to connect your lips once again as you could feel the hard length of his cock pressing against you through his jeans. His large hands sliding to your thighs before standing you both up, your legs wrapping around his waist, hands in his hair.
He stumbled his way into his bedroom laying you down on his bed placing a soft kiss to your lips before hurriedly kissing down the side of your neck and chest, between your breasts and down to your belly button stopping at the waist of your jean shorts, fingers dancing over the button as he looked up at you, eyes questioning as if to get the go ahead, you nodded gently. He slid your shorts and underwear down your thighs, discarding them and grabbing at the hem of his shirt, pulling it over his head before sliding off his jeans and boxers. You let your eyes trail his body as he situated himself between your legs leaning down to kiss you again.
“Are we really gonna do this” he laughed as he tucked a stray piece of hair behind your ear.
“I think so” you blushed, eyes meeting his once again, yours filled with anticipation, his with desire.
When you woke up the next morning, your head on his chest, his fingers running through your hair, you didn’t know how to feel, but you knew things were moving into a far more complicated territory.
The two of you went on this way for a while, hanging out with friends and family as if nothing had changed, but when it was just the two of you it was different, intimate. When you were away from each other you facetimed daily, you shared everything, you always had but now it felt like everything you were used to but magnified. When he was gone you missed him, when you were together you felt complete. It was so familiar but so new at the same time. At this point you were dating without the title, which had been fine with you both, you liked what you had together it was easy, simple, no pressure.
In early August you had moved in, the apartment you rented was being sold and Chris insisted it would be helping him, and besides he had said, you were there whenever he was anyway. You had your own room but it was rarely used, most nights falling asleep together in Chris’ bed, both finding you slept better when you were together. It was one of those nights, curled up in his bed, Dodger at your feet, watching a rerun of some sitcom when Chris had asked you if you would go to Toronto with him the next month, his latest film Knives Out was premiering at the film festival there and he had been equal parts excited and nervous about it. You had been taken aback at first, sure you’d visited him on set before and attended a few premieres but this felt different.
“You want me to?” You sat up turning to face him.
“Obviously” he laughed “I’d take you everywhere with me if I could”
“Aww cute” you chuckled pinching his cheek as he kissed the tip of your nose.
“I have press a lot of the time, but you could hang out do some sight seeing, then come to the premiere with me?”
“With you...or with you?”
“Whichever one means I get to have you beside me on the red carpet”
“I don’t know Chris...you know that will start a shit storm” you knew how bad the rumours that had started when fans spotted you just attending the premiere for the last Avengers movie had been, and while it really didn’t bother you, you didn’t want it to have an affect on his career.
“Honestly? I don’t care.”
“Okay” you knew he wouldn’t say it but you could tell from his face that he was feeling anxious about it “I’ll come with you, but if you decide any time that you’d rather walk the carpet alone thats okay”
“I won’t” he reassured you, placing a kiss to your temple.
The day of the premiere came around quickly, Chris had been doing press for the past couple of days and you had spent most of your time exploring the cities sights. Chris held true to his word and didn’t change his mind about you walking the carpet with him. He had been a ball of nervous energy since you had woken up, you had left him eating breakfast to go take a shower and start getting ready for your day.
When you came out of the bathroom towel wrapped around you tightly, wet hair loose and ready to be dried you had found him pacing the hotel room in his underwear trying to keep himself busy, it was something that would put most people on edge but you had seen this so many times before with him, always getting in his head, always doubting himself and usually you were able to talk him down easily, but this time you had decided to try a different method.
Calling his name you let go of the grip you had on your towel letting it drop to the ground as he looked up having not previously noticed you had come back into the room, freezing instantly eyeing the curve of your body, a slight smirk across his face.
“What’s this for” he laughed as he closed the gap between you, hands finding your hips as you rested yours on his chest.
“You needed to get out of your head” you whispered as your lent up to kiss him, one hand sliding down his chest and finding its way into his boxers taking his length in your hand and stroking it slowly as you felt it harden beneath your grip. You pecked his lips before dropping to your knees on the plush hotel carpet pulling his boxers down with you. You pumped him a few more times with your hand before letting your tongue lick over his head tasting the saltiness of pre-cum. You took him halfway into your mouth, letting your warmth surround him before pulling off and sliding your tongue along the underside of his cock. Surrounding him with your mouth once more, this time dropping down deeper and with more intent, you hand finds its way to play with his balls, Chris letting out a breathy moan. You started to bob your head up and down as his hand found its way into your hair guiding you as his hips began to thrust, his tip hitting the back of your throat with each movement. It didn’t take long before he was warning you that he was about to cum, and cum he did, hard and fast right down your throat as you swallowed the taste of him before letting his cock slide out of your mouth. Chris pulled you up from the floor crashing his mouth into yours, tasting the remnants of himself on your tongue as he guided you back to the bed determined to make you cum just as hard as he had.
An hour later you found yourself in the shower for the second time that day, this time joined by Chris. You took your time, him massaging shower gel onto your back, while you reached up lathering and rinsing out the shampoo from his hair. You made sure to gently scrape your fingers along his scalp the way you knew, from many nights laying on the couch fingers curled in his hair as he fell asleep in your arms, relaxed him. Once you got out of the shower you realized Chris’ stylist and the hair and make up artist you had insisted on hiring yourself would be showing up any second.
By the time you were in the car waiting to pull up to the carpet Chris had seemingly relaxed, he held your hand the entire car ride over but you knew he was in a much better place mentally and that the second he got out he would turn on his charm and have everyone eating out of the palm of his hand the way he always did. When it was time to get out of the car Chris stepped out first leaning in to offer you his hand as you stepped out behind him, you could here the gasps of fans and media alike, all surprised that Hollywood’s most eligible bachelor had bought a date. Chris had pulled you into his side at the photo area, his hand on your hip as you placed yours on his chest posing for the cameras. You had been surprisingly pretty calm about the whole thing until that moment, cameras flashing in your face and paparazzi screaming from behind their barricade for you to look in twelve directions at once. It was overwhelming and something you don't think you could ever get fully used to.
“Just breathe” He whispered to you out of the side of his mouth, knowing that you had started to spiral.
After what felt like an hour but was probably ten minutes Chris’ team moved you along to the press portion of the carpet, you had expected to just stand back with the team while Chris answered questions from reporters from all of the different networks and publications but he had refused to let go of your hand as he approached the first reporter so you found yourself next to him through it all. Of course the first question was about you, and you just knew every headline tomorrow would mention it. It used to frustrate you, how the media would hone in on any female he was seen with, making the story about that and not the hard work he was doing, but you knew they were just trying to sell papers, page click and views.
“So who do you have here with you today” the reporter smiled tilting her head in your direction
“This is my best friend” Chris started before motioning for you to finish, that was one of the many things you had always loved about Chris, he never wanted you to feel like you were in his shadow, you had your own voice and you could use it. You introduced yourself to the reporter who asked a few questions about how you met and then switched to talking about the movie. After a few more interviews that went in a similar fashion you were escorted into the theatre for the screening, Chris took your hand as the two of you sat side by side in the theatre waiting for the film to start. You had enjoyed it a lot and really loved seeing this side of Chris’ acting ability. When the movie was done he joined some of the cast at the front of the theatre for a quick question and answer session for the attendees before you all headed to the after party.
Chris had introduced you to some of his cast mates, and reintroduced you to a few you had met previously during a quick visit to set one afternoon. You had downed a few glasses of champagne by the time you were ready to leave the party, tipsy but not quite drunk. The two of you found your way back to your hotel, and you laughed as you entered the elevator remembering something you had thought about mid interview earlier that day.
“What?” Chris laughed pushing the button for your floor and leaning against the back of the elevator, as you pulled off the heels that you hadn’t realized until that moment were killing your feet.
“Earlier...I almost made the worst comment in the middle of that E! Interview”
“....oh god what were you gonna say?” He chuckled, amused at your tipsy candour.
“Well you introduced me as your friend...”
“Yeah....” Chris laughed, looking at you as if to say that’s what we agreed on.
“Well, you say we are just friends, but friends...friends don’t know the way that you taste” you smirked at him pointedly, both remembering the activities of that morning.
Chris burst out laughing, his full belly laugh, hand coming up to his chest before reach across and pulling you into him, placing a kiss on your nose as the elevator doors opened on your floor.
“True” he mumbled before leading you down the hallway to your room, “that is true” he had one hand in yours the other holding your heels that he must have picked up on the way out of the elevator. “Well, how about next time I call you something else?” He started tone playful “This is my fuck buddy, no my slam piece, no thats too informal he laughed, girlfriend? No, hmm” He opened the hotel room door letting you slide in past him as he reached around to flip on the light switch closing the door behind him.
You stopped in the entry way a gasp leaving your lips. The room was filled with flowers. The pink and white Chrysanthemums filled every spare counter space, they had always been your favorite and Chris had sent you some for every birthday without fail. There were fairy lights lining the room and a small cart with a bottle of champagne on ice and chocolate covered strawberries by the window.
You turned back to Chris, your heart racing only he wasn’t where you expected....
“How about Wife?” Your eyes connected with his, where he was knelt on the floor behind you an open green velvet ring box in hand.
“What” was all you could get out.
“How about next time I call you my Wife. Marry Me?” Chris said, laughing at the shocked expression on your face “I’ve loved you for almost 20 years now, you’re the best thing in my life, and I never want to be without you...”
“Yes.” You said before you could even really think about it. “Yes!?!” You repeated realizing what was happening as Chris pulled the ring out of the box, sliding it onto your finger quickly before standing up to kiss you.
You’re not sure how long you stood there in the entry way making out, but when you pulled away you noticed that Chris’ eyes, like yours, were a little damp as you went to run your thumb across his cheek you caught a glimpse of the ring on your hand realizing you had barely even looked at it before it was on your hand. Chris pressed his lips into your hair holding you to his chest as you admired it. It was beautiful, delicate, subtle, it was just the kind of ring you would have chosen for yourself.
“Do you like it” Chris whispered into your hair
“I love it” you smiled up at him, lightly pressing your lips to his
“I love you” he smiled, not letting go of you.
“I love you too bestie” you giggled as he grabbed you around the waist lifting you over his shoulder and tapping your ass lightly as he took off towards the bedroom.

Y/N blinked rapidly, her eyes adjusting to the light in the room as the late morning sun streamed in through the windows. Turning onto her back, she ran her hands over her face, willing herself to wake up. She turned her head to the side, sighing as she didn’t see her fiancé next to her. He was no doubt also waking up at that point, in his childhood home.
She smiled as she stared up at the ceiling, already anticipating what the rest of the day was going to be like for her and for him. She couldn’t wait to see him later, her heart already longing for him since the previous night after they separated.
Now, after months and months of planning, the big day had finally arrived.
Their wedding day.
Y/N threw the covers back, a kick in her step as she got up and walked into the bathroom. She brushed her teeth and freshened up, and then left to go down to the kitchen, smelling the aromas of breakfast wafting up the stairs. She smiled as she walked in, seeing Charlie at the stove, scrambling eggs and frying bacon. The kitchen island had a spread of bagels, cream cheese, toast, jams, peanut butter and a box of Coco Puffs. As Charlie cooked, she looked up and smiled when she saw her come in.
“Morning, bride!” Her cheery exclaim made Y/N laugh as she walked over, hugging her.
Charlie, Meg, Jill and Y/N’s nieces had spent the night at the house, where they’d all be getting everything prepped before they went over to the venue. They were getting ready in the big ranch house, one room dedicated to them as another was for Dean and the groomsmen.
“Morning. This all looks amazing,” Y/N sighed, as her eyes glided over all the food.
“Figured you better eat a big breakfast because who knows when we’re going to eat next,” Charlie said, plating the eggs and bacon from the pans.
“This is true,” Y/N agreed as she sat on one of the stools at the island.
Meg and Jill came down, dressed in casual t-shirts and jeans, Mia in Jill’s arms as Evie took the stairs down carefully in front of her.
“Aunty Y/N!” she yelled as ran over, trying desperately to hop into Y/N’s lap. She reached down and pulled her up, a fake sluggish groan leaving her.
“You’re growing too fast, kiddo,” Y/N joked, kissing the top of Evie’s head.
Jill sat next to her and put Mia on her lap, putting some peanut butter on toast for her. Mia frowned; her eyes suddenly glowing as she looked at the box of Coco Puffs.
“Puffs,” she said, pointing to the box.
“Mia,” Jill warned, giving her a stern look. “You can’t eat only Coco Puffs for breakfast.”
“Can I have some mommy?” Evie asked, voice as sweet as honey, thinking she could wrap her mom around her finger.
Jill, unrelenting in her discipline, looked between her daughters. “No.”
They both pouted, and Jill feared they were both about to throw tantrums, but luckily, they were in the clear as they both sulked.
“Hey,” Y/N whispered in Evie’s ear. She reached into her own plate and took a small piece of bacon, offering it to the little girl. “Want some?”
Evie nodded enthusiastically, biting into the piece. She chewed it and smiled.
“Good, huh?” Y/N asked, smiling.
Evie kept nodding, smiling up at her aunt. “Do you like bacon, aunty Y/N?”
“I do, but you know who loves it even more?” Y/N said, lifting an eyebrow.
“Who?” Evie looked at her with big, curious eyes as she waited for an answer.
“Uncle Dean,” Y/N stated, smiling.
The little girl’s smile widened as she took a little more of the bacon, as everyone continued to eat around the island.
Y/N smiled as she continued eating, wondering what her beloved fiancé and soon to be husband was doing at that moment.

Dean lifted the coffee mug to his lips, taking a slow sip of the dark liquid. He breathed in, letting out a peaceful exhale as he sat down on the steps of the back porch at his childhood home. He smiled as he looked around the yard, remembering all the great times he and his family had there.
He let out a small huff as a smirk grew on his face, still not quite believing what day was upon him. He was getting married today. Him. If someone had told him years ago that he was going to meet the most incredible woman and get married, he would’ve laughed in their face. He was with someone else and marriage wasn’t on the cards. Then Y/N came and changed everything he thought to be true, showing him what was real. She was real.
Hearing footsteps behind him, he glanced up and smiled as his mom sat down next to him, a coffee mug of her own in hand.
“Doing okay?” she asked, smiling softly.
“So far, yeah,” he replied, with a small nod.
“Good,” she sighed, lifting her hand and rubbing his shoulder. “I know I don’t have to worry about this, but make sure you eat properly today, okay?”
“Yeah.” He smiled at her and turned his head to look back at the garden. “Mom?”
Mary took a sip of her coffee before she turned to him. “Yeah, sweetie?”
“Did you… did you ever think I’d get here?” he asked, a nervous smile tugging at his lips.
She smiled, knowing that was probably what his thought process had been all morning.
“Yeah, I did. I really did,” she replied, softly. “I knew it would take time… but I knew that when she got here, whoever she was, was going to knock you out.”
He laughed, nodding. “She really did.”
“I’m so glad you found her,” Mary said, quietly.
“I love her so damn much,” he whispered, his eyes closing as small doubts started to filter in. “I can’t screw this up.”
Mary shook her head, squeezing his shoulder to let him know she was there. “You won’t.”
Leaning over, she wrapped her arm around him and hugged him, tightly. He sighed, willing the doubts to leave his mind. He didn’t need them today.
“Thanks, mom,” he said, as they pulled away from each other.
“You’re welcome.” She moved in and kissed his cheek, quickly standing up from the steps. “Alright, we better eat and get this day rolling!”
He chuckled as he stood, wrapping his arm around her as they walked into the house.
He was more than ready to get on with the day and finally see Y/N.

Y/N’s fingers glided over the fabric; her smile radiant as she admired the wedding dress hanging up on the door in front of her. Pulling her silk robe tighter around her body, she stepped back to look at the full silhouette, a giddiness settling deep within her belly. She couldn’t believe that in just a couple short hours she was going to be marrying Dean, in front of all their friends and family.
She was so nervous she felt like she could throw up. She wasn’t having cold feet by any means, but her nerves came from the fact that something could go wrong, and she wouldn’t be able to stop it from happening. What if Dean changed his mind? She knew he loved her unconditionally and there was no rational thought behind what she was thinking, but she couldn’t help that her mind was an endless fount of doubt in that moment.
However, as she looked around the room she was about to get ready in, seeing her bridesmaids fixing some last-minute things, her mom looking after her nieces and all of the hair and make-up spread out on a table, the worries gave way to hope. Hope that everything was going to be fine.
“Y/N, we’re ready for you,” one of the make-up artists said, smiling at her.
Smiling back, she sat down in her chair in front of the mirror, letting out a deep breath as she looked at her reflection. She glanced to the side, seeing Charlie come up behind her as the woman doing her make-up started.
“How are you? Can I get you anything?” Charlie asked, taking Y/N’s hand in hers.
She shook her head, squeezing Charlie’s hand. “No, I’m good for now.”
“Okay,” Charlie said, kissing Y/N’s head.
Y/N smiled as she retreated, helping Jill tie the ribbons around the bridesmaids’ bouquets. Her eyes caught Meg coming into the room, shaking her head as she carried her dress bag and shoes, dressed in jeans and a black t-shirt. She had gone back to her apartment because like an idiot she had forgotten her heels and had come to the venue with Cas.
“Hey, I’m so sorry I’m late! Cas drives so fu-” she started, rushing over to Y/N and kissed her cheek, biting her lip as she was about to swear. She glanced back at Evie and Mia in the room, sighing in relief that they were preoccupied with their grandmother. “So freaking slow.”
Y/N laughed, waving her off. “You’re fine, we’ve still got plenty of time.”
“Okay, good,” Meg sighed, walking into the little bathroom attached to the room. A few minutes later, she emerged in her light pink silk robe, the same as Jill, Eileen and Charlie’s.
The make-up artist dabbed foundation on Y/N’s face, as Meg walked over and handed her a glass of water.
“I saw the guys getting ready, too,” Meg said, sitting down in the chair next to Y/N, as the other hair and make-up artist started on her make-up too. “Dean said to tell you not to worry so much and have fun.”
Y/N couldn’t keep the smile off her face as she thought about her soon to be husband being worried about the fact that she must be unnecessarily nervous.
“Is he okay?” she asked, closing her eyes as the woman started on her eye make-up.
“He is,” Meg replied, sipping her own water. “More than okay, just can’t wait to see you. He’s not gonna know what hit him when he sees you in the dress.”
As they completed Y/N’s look, her hair in an intricate bun and a few locks framing her face, she stood up and faced her bridesmaids, smiling as they all hugged and stood in a circle. Jill picked up the bottle of champagne from the ice bucket on the table, popping it open. She poured some into six glasses, their mom getting up from the armchair and joining them. They each took a glass and faced Y/N, who smiled brightly as Jill wrapped an arm around her shoulders.
“A toast to my baby sister on her wedding day… I’m keeping this short and saving most of it for my matron of honor speech, but I love you so much and I’m so happy for you, that you found the perfect person to share your life with,” Jill said, kissing her forehead.
“I love you,” Y/N said, hugging Jill tight.
“To Y/N!” they all said, clinking their glasses together. They all sipped the sparkling liquid, sitting back down to relax a little before they had to put their dresses on.
Y/N sighed as she sat down, humming as she felt her mom rubbing soothing circles on her back. “Just relax,” Meredith said, smiling.
“Thanks, mom,” Y/N whispered, looking up at her mother.
“Are you alright?” Meredith asked, softly.
“Yeah, I’m alright,” Y/N replied, nodding. “I just can’t believe I’m finally here.” A smile tugged at her lips, butterflies erupting in her stomach as flashes of her life so far with Dean came to her.
“I still can’t ever forget you gushing about him when we went for drinks after work, only a few weeks into being in Lawrence,” Charlie chimed in, beaming as she took sips of her champagne.
“God, that somehow feels like it was forever ago and like it was yesterday at the same time,” Y/N stated, thinking back on that night. The one that solidified that there was something more between her and Dean than just friendship.
Evie came up to Y/N and climbed into her lap, wanting to sit with her aunt. She kissed the little girl’s head and stroked her soft hair, looking adorable in her little flower girl dress.
“Okay, what’s your favorite thing about Dean?” Meg asked, smirking.
Y/N glared at her playfully, shaking her head as she knew what her friend was thinking. She only thought about it for a second, knowing without a doubt what her favorite thing about Dean was.
“His heart,” she replied, simply. “His heart is so big, sometimes I think he doesn’t know what to do with all that love he’s got in there. He just cares about everyone close to him so much, and he’s always willing to help someone out. And… the way he cares about me, no one’s ever made me feel the way he does.”
“Oh my god, Y/N,” Charlie sighed, already getting teary. “I’m just so glad he has someone like you. I can’t even imagine where he’d be if you never came into his life.”
“Life definitely changed for the better, that’s for sure,” Y/N said, smiling.
“For all of us,” Meg added, clinking her glass with Charlie and Eileen’s.
“I’ll drink to that,” Eileen signed, winking at Y/N.
“Our oldest friend is marrying our best friend.” Charlie got up and walked over to Y/N, hugging her.
“Mommy, I’m hungry,” little Evie’s voice interrupted, as she looked at Jill from Y/N’s lap.
“Mom, can you take them to get something to eat?” Jill asked Meredith, as she was still in her robe.
“Of course,” Meredith replied, taking Evie’s hand as she hopped off Y/N. She picked up Mia who had been playing with her dolls and led them to the door.
“Meredith,” Eileen called out, getting the older woman’s attention. “Mary’s got Elliot with her in the dining hall, so you can join them there.”
“Perfect, thanks Eileen,” Meredith said, smiling at her before she took the girls out of the room.
Y/N stood up from the chair and walked across the room, looking out the window with her champagne glass in hand. The girls looked at her knowingly, giving her a little space before they had to start getting into the dresses. Taking out the folded paper from her bra, she opened it, her eyes scanning over the words she had written as vows to Dean. She smiled as she thought about how she would get to say them soon, about how he would say his and they would be united.
She couldn’t wait to see him and finally be his forever.

Dean’s hands shook as his fingers nimbly buttoned up his crisp white shirt. Letting out a large exhale, he closed his eyes and tried to calm himself down. His mind started becoming more and more clouded with worries as the time got closer to the ceremony, his self-deprecating thoughts circling around and causing him to doubt everything. He had told Meg when she left to join Y/N and the other bridesmaids to tell his soon-to-be wife not to worry about anything, and yet here he was, doing the exact same thing.
His groomsmen, Benny, Cas, Brian (who he had gotten to know really well and wanted him to be part of the ceremony to make things special for Y/N), and Sam who was his best man, were all dressed in their suits, laughing and chatting in the main room. He had told them to give him a minute, needing some time to himself as he got dressed. It was less than an hour now until he and Y/N finally became husband and wife. That thought made his heart soar but also made his stomach flip with nerves. What if he said or did something and he ruined everything? What if he got up to the altar and she didn’t walk down the aisle?
A knock on the door of the bathroom broke him from his negative thoughts. He tucked his shirt into his pants neatly, and gave a quick “yeah” as a signal for the person to come in.
“You decent?” he heard Sam ask, as the door opened slightly.
“Yeah,” he replied, gruffly as he fixed his shirt in the mirror.
Sam opened the door and came in, immediately sensing something was wrong with the expression on Dean’s face.
“You alright?” he asked, softly, not wanting anyone in the other room to hear them.
Dean scoffed, shaking his head. “Not really.”
“What’s going on?” Sam went into protective mode, ready to be there for Dean for whatever he wanted to say or needed at that moment.
“Nothing major, Sammy,” Dean sighed, shutting his eyes tightly. “Just can't get past the thoughts in my head.”
“Hey, look at me,” Sam said, turning Dean towards him and looking directly at him as he put his hands on shoulders. “Everything’s going to be fine. Whatever you’re thinking right now, none of it is going to happen. You’re going to be out there soon, and you’re going to marry Y/N and everything is going to work out the way it’s meant to.”
“Less than an hour,” Dean whispered. Shaking his head, he let out a small, bitter chuckle. “Still time for her to run.”
“She’s not going to run,” Sam told him, a confident smile on his face as he shook his head. “Just think about everything you’ve been through together and remember how much you love her. How much she loves you. Remember that and everything will be fine.”
Dean breathed in deep, and as he let it out, a smile came to his face knowing that Sam was right. He was letting those negative thoughts win again, and he was done letting them control him. It was his wedding day, a day he never thought he’d get to see, but couldn’t have been more excited to finally have. He couldn’t wait to see Y/N in her dress and to finally be hers forever.
“You’re right,” he said, nodding at his little brother. “Thanks, Sammy.”
“No problem,” Sam said, smiling. “So… shall we?” He gestured towards the other room, knowing time was ticking away and they needed to start moving.
“Yeah.” Dean gave him a confident nod, a wide grin gracing his face as he pushed away the self-deprecation and concentrated on Y/N and what was going to happen soon.
They walked into the other room that was occupied by his side of the wedding party, seeing them sitting around, empty tumbler glasses waiting on the table with a bottle of his favorite whiskey.
“There he is, man of the hour,” Benny said, his cheery Southern accent filling the room. He got up and picked up the bottle, cracking it open. Pouring a couple of fingers into each glass, he handed them over to each of the groomsmen and Dean.
“I’m going to save most of what I want to say in my speech later, but…” Sam started as he turned to his older brother. “I’m so happy for you, man, that you found the woman you’ve been waiting for.”
“To Dean!” They all cheered and clinked their tumblers together, drinking the amber liquid.
“Thanks, Sammy,” Dean said, tapping his little brother on the shoulder.
The door to the room opened, and Dean looked to his right, seeing his father and Y/N’s walk in. He gulped nervously as David walked over to him, a small smile on his face.
“How are you, sir?” Dean asked, offering his hand to shake.
“Good, but I think I should be asking you that,” David replied, shaking his hand with a small laugh.
“Better now.” Dean didn’t add anything else, not wanting to draw attention to the fact that he was having doubts just a few minutes before. Taking a sip of his whiskey, Dean looked up at David, a small, nervous smile on his face.
“Sir, I… I wanted to thank you. For trusting me with Y/N. I promise you that I’ll always take care of her,” he told David, his voice firm with conviction.
David smiled, nodding. “I’m glad to hear it.”
He walked forward, putting his arms around Dean into a hug, one that solidified the bond between their families. Pulling away, they smiled at each other before David stepped back, leaving Dean to finish getting ready.
“Hey,” Sam got his attention as he walked over. “I’m just going to quickly check in on Elliot and then see Eileen. Are you going to be okay?”
“Don’t worry about me, Sammy,” Dean stated, smirking. “I’ll be fine.”
“Okay.” Sam nodded and retreated back, walking across the room and shutting the door behind him.
Dean looked at himself in the mirror by the window, trying to tie his bowtie properly. He gave it a few tries, growling in frustration as he couldn’t get it right, his hands started to shake again.
“Here, let me,” he heard his dad say, as he walked over and turned Dean towards him.
“Thanks, dad,” Dean sighed, lifting his head so John could see properly.
“No problem.” John smiled as he started tying the bowtie for Dean. “I remember doing this for you for prom.”
Dean huffed a small laugh, lifting an eyebrow. “Bet you never thought you’d be doing it for my wedding.”
John smiled, knowingly. “I did think I’d be doing it. I always knew you’d get here.”
He fixed the bowtie and then folded the collar back down. “All done.”
He picked up Dean’s suit jacket and held it up, pulling it up onto his shoulders once he put his arms through. Dean fixed it to fit properly on his shoulders, frowning a little as it felt weird to be wearing a suit.
“It’s just for a few hours,” John said, knowing what his son was thinking by the expression on his face.
“Yeah,” Dean agreed, as he pinned the small flowers to the lapel of his suit.
“Dean,” John said, getting his son’s attention. Taking out a small box from his pants pocket, he handed it over to his son, a proud smile on his face. “I have something for you.”
With a confused look on his face, Dean took the box from his dad. Opening it, his eyes widened as he saw a pair of old, silver cufflinks sitting in there, immediately recognizing them.
“Grandpa’s,” he whispered, breathing heavily as a wave of emotion came over him.
“He’d want you to have them,” John said, smiling as he took them from Dean, taking them out and putting the box back in his pocket. He lifted Dean’s left hand and attached them to the end of the sleeve, repeating the action on the other.
“Thanks, dad,” Dean said, smiling.
John shook his head, pulling Dean into a tight hug. “You don’t have to ever thank me, Dean. I’m so proud of you.”
The younger Winchester’s eyes closed, his smile growing as he hugged his father. All his life, he had looked up to his dad, wanting to be just like him. While things had happened in the past and he saw a different side to him, Dean knew his dad worked hard to give them a life they deserved, one filled with joy and laughter, all while overcoming obstacles along the way and becoming a stronger unit because of it. He knew that despite some troubles, he saw a good and loving marriage between his parents, and one he hoped he would have with Y/N.

Y/N stepped into her dress, standing up straight as Charlie and Jill pulled it up and slipped the straps over her arms. The sheer low cut back came down to a zip and button closure, which Jill did for her, smiling over her shoulder. Y/N fixed the front, making sure the low front was secure over her breasts, smoothing her hands down the front of the dress. She caught Mary’s eyes through the mirror as she stood behind her with Elliot, smiling at her through teary eyes. Meredith came over, the veil carefully cradled in her arms as she stood behind Y/N. She watched as her mom clipped the veil into her hair just above her bun, fluffing it to fall delicately over the silhouette of her dress. Her mom had a few tears fall down her face, and Y/N was trying desperately not to cry in that moment.
“You look so beautiful,” Meredith choked out, looking at her younger daughter.
“Thanks, mom,” Y/N said, her voice shaking.
“Okay, no crying yet, we can’t ruin our make-up,” Charlie added, wiping lightly under her eyes, avoiding her make-up.
Everyone laughed and tried to take breaths, making sure they didn’t have to re-do any of their make-up. Y/N smiled as she clipped on her grandmother’s silver bracelet to her wrist, and put on the diamond drop earrings, completing the look. She spied little Evie coming up next to her, looking at her with big, round eyes full of wonder.
“Aunty Y/N, you look like a princess,” she said, smiling up at her aunt.
Y/N laughed a little as she bent down slightly, kissing her head. “Thank you, honey. You look so beautiful.”
Evie blushed as she giggled, which melted Y/N’s heart even more. She and Mia had matching off-white flower girl dresses with pastel pink sashes around the waist tied into bows at the back, both complete with matching headbands and shoes. As Y/N adjusted the front of her dress, a knock at the door alerted everyone.
Eileen opened the door, smiling as Sam walked in and kissed her, quickly. “Everything okay with Elliot?”
“Yeah, he’s great,” she replied, looking up at him as she bounced their son lightly in her arms. A smile spread across her face as she nodded towards Y/N. “Turn around.”
Sam turned, suddenly in awe as he looked at his soon-to-be sister-in-law. “Y/N. Oh my god.”
Y/N laughed, twirling the dress slightly. “Think Dean will like it?”
“Like? He’s going to lose his mind,” Sam replied, shaking his head as he beamed at her.
“How is he?” she asked, a longing in the tone of her voice. She couldn’t wait to see him.
“He’s good,” Sam replied, a little too quickly. She knew something was wrong.
“He’s freaking out.” It wasn’t a question considering she knew how Dean’s mind worked.
“He was, but I talked him down. He’s good now, I swear,” Sam promised, firmly.
She nodded but she knew she needed to do something, somehow, to convince him that things were okay and to not freak out.
“Mom, can you hand me that note pad and a pen,” Y/N said, gesturing to the items she wanted on the table in the far corner.
Meredith brought them over, and Y/N immediately scribbled something on it, quickly. Tearing the page off, she folded it and handed it over to Sam.
“Give him that when you get to the altar, okay?” she asked, smiling.
“Sure thing,” he replied, holding it securely in his hand. “We’re going to head out there.”
“See you soon.” She couldn’t keep the smile off her face, more than ready to go out there and marry the man of her dreams.
“See you soon,” he repeated, winking at her.
He turned his mom and offered his arm to her, Mary taking it immediately with her own wink at Y/N. He took Elliot from Eileen and carried him in his other, all of them leaving the room and shutting the door, lightly.
Y/N smiled as she turned back to the mirror, taking in her full appearance. It was almost time and she couldn’t be happier.

John, Mary, Sam and Dean sat under the trees, in the front row of chairs all lined up and starting to be filled as the guests arrived. Elliot sat in Mary’s lap, looking around curiously at everything. They all looked out past the arch covered in flowers for Dean and Y/N to stand under, past the trees and saw the lake, the sun shining off the surface of the water on the most beautiful and perfect day they could’ve hoped for the wedding. As he sat with his family, Dean couldn’t help but think about all the memories the Winchesters had made there.
He stood up from the chair, watching as people arrived. He saw Jody and the girls arrive, smiling brightly at them. She blew him a kiss and he laughed, blowing one back. After them, he spotted Donna, her blonde locks blowing slightly in the breeze. She saw him, circled her finger in the air to gesture to the suit, and mouthed a “nice!”. He smirked as he winked at her, causing her to laugh before she sat down next to Jody. He looked next to him, seeing Sam looking down at his watch.
“Five minutes,” he said, looking up at Dean.
Dean let out a breath, nodding. “Guess we better stand.”
“Don’t worry, honey. Everything’s going to be great,” Mary said, quickly standing up and kissing his cheek. She held Elliot in her arms, making sure he was sitting in her lap properly as she took her seat again.
Dean stood up under the arch with the female officiant who was already there, Sam standing next to Dean as the groomsmen stood off to the side near the trees, waiting for the bridesmaids. Remembering what Y/N had given him, Sam reached into his pocket and took out the note, nudging Dean.
“I saw Y/N earlier, asked me to give you this,” he whispered, handing over the paper.
Taking it, Dean opened the paper. He had calmed down considerably since Sam spoke to him in the dressing room, but when he read the words on the paper in Y/N’s pretty handwriting, he felt the weight completely lift off his chest.
Don’t be scared.
I love you.
He felt tears prick his eyes, but he cleared his throat and folded the paper into his pants pocket, blinking rapidly to stop them from flowing. Seeing those words was exactly what he needed at that moment.
He was more ready than he ever was to get the show on the road.

Y/N, Jill, David and Meredith walked up the gravel path, the girls behind them as they held Y/N’s dress up off the ground as she walked. She was doing considerably well in her sparkly, pointed-toe heels, but she knew by the time the reception rolled around she would be taking them off. She didn’t care, however, as she was just more than ready to see her man.
“I haven’t told you yet, but-” David whispered, leaning into her. “You look so beautiful, honey.”
“Thanks, dad,” she whispered back, kissing his cheek.
They made it to the end of the path, hidden behind the trees so that no one would see them.
Meredith turned to Y/N, cupping her face in her hands, her eyes blurry with tears. “I love you, so much.”
“I love you, too, mom,” Y/N choked out, blinking to keep her tears at bay.
They kissed each other’s cheeks and hugged, Meredith quickly walking down to the clearing, down the aisle and taking her seat in the front row on Y/N’s side. She looked at Dean and smiled, getting a smile back from him as he waited.
Y/N watched as Cas, Benny and Brian walked over to them, as they stood next to their respective bridesmaid. Cas took Charlie’s arm, Benny took Meg’s and Brian took Eileen’s as they lined up in front of Jill, Evie and Mia. Each of the bridesmaids stood with their bouquet of Oriental Lilies, while her nieces had their little baskets filled with light pink rose petals, the only roses Y/N had for the wedding. She stood behind them, as David took his place on her right.
“Ready?” he asked, looking at her.
“So ready,” she replied, smiling wide. She laughed a little, shaking her head. “Just please, don’t let me fall.”
“Never,” he whispered, kissing her temple. Offering his arm, Y/N wrapped her right one around, holding her bouquet of Calla Lilies tight in her left hand.
Before she knew it, the music started from the speaker off to the side of the altar, and it was show time. Taking a deep breath in, she released it as she watched the bridal party walk out, ready for her turn down the aisle.
Tumblr media
The soft violin started from the hidden speaker, the tune immediately recognizable to Dean as Thank You by Led Zeppelin, but instrumental.
He felt all his emotions beginning to rise to the surface, but he tried to keep himself calm as he watched the bridal party come down the aisle. Cas and Charlie were first, both sharing a smile with him. Cas took his place next to Sam, as Charlie couldn’t resist coming up and quickly hugging Dean, kissing his cheek. Benny and Meg walked in behind them, and he fist bumped his other best friend and work partner before he took his place next to Cas. Brian and Eileen followed and stood at their respective sides, waiting for the rest of the party.
Dean watched as Jill walked down, winking at him as she walked over to the left side, standing in front of Charlie. All the guests admired and ‘awed’ at Evie and Mia, as they dropped the petals from their little baskets onto the covered ground. They went and sat down with Meredith, after having done their duty as flower girls.
The music began to soar as Y/N held onto her father’s arm tightly, walking slowly with him towards the aisle. She looked at her father, giving him a little nod to let him know she was ready. She felt tears collect in her eyes as she started walking, seeing everyone standing and smiling at her. Everyone who was special to them was there, and she was so grateful.
Just as the tempo changed, Dean felt a catch in his throat as he finally saw Y/N, on the arm of her father. He didn’t think he could be as speechless as he was at that moment. Time completely stood still, as all he could see was her. He had seen Y/N dressed up several times, on so many occasions that were special to them, where she had looked absolutely beautiful. However, the vision of her gliding towards him like an angel, with the most radiant smile on her face, was an image that would stay with him until the day he took his last breath. He was overwhelmed, willing himself to keep composure, but he knew he was failing as a tear slipped down her face.
Y/N smiled, feeling the tears threatening to fall down her face as she saw Dean looking at her. At that moment, she saw no one else. He looked so incredibly handsome in his suit, but his face, with a smile of his own and his eyes glassy, was the most beautiful sight she could have seen. As she got closer, she saw a tear roll down his right cheek, and she felt one of her own escape, as overcome by this moment as he was.
Y/N stopped at the end of the aisle, as Dean stepped towards her. They looked into each other’s eyes, both of them smiling as their vision blurred behind unshed tears. She turned to her dad and kissed his cheek, his own smile speaking volumes as he took her hand and placed it in Dean’s, giving him a small nod that held the weight of the moment. They continued to look at each other as David sat down with Meredith, who was already a mess of emotions.
Dean and Y/N stepped closer to the officiant, turning to face each other as they held hands. He shook his head, his eyes gliding up her dress and looking into hers, a small smile on his face as he tried to let her know with a look how beautiful she was, as words were something he couldn’t manage in that moment. He had to save his voice for his vows, which were going to be even more nerve-wracking now. The music turned off and the officiant, Cindy, looked between them, ready to start the ceremony. The interpreter stood off to the side, closer to Eileen so that she could see properly. Cindy was a short woman with greying hair, thick black glasses and the sunniest personality they both had ever seen, smiling as she began the ceremony.
“Dearly beloved, we gathered here today to witness and celebrate the marriage of Y/N Y/L/N and Dean Winchester.”
Dean breathed deeply, his eyes never leaving Y/N’s as did the same. Cindy went on to see a few things she learnt about them as a couple as she got to know them before this day, both of them beaming at each other as she spoke.
“So, let’s get these two married, shall we?” she asked, laughing.
Everyone joined in, with cheers and claps all around, including the bridal party behind Dean and Y/N.
“Dean and Y/N have each prepared their own vows which they’ll share now, before I ask them a couple of questions. Y/N, why don’t you go first,” Cindy said, looking at her.
Y/N nodded, turning slightly and taking the piece of paper that Jill handed to her. She opened it and looked at Dean, smiling at him as he looked at her intently. She looked down at her words, tears threatening to fall.
“Dean.” She glanced at him again quickly, before concentrating on her words, not wanting to mess up. “For a long time, I wondered if I’d ever find someone who I could truly be myself with. Someone who would protect me and never hurt me, someone who would never let me fall. Someone who would challenge me. Someone who would love me unconditionally, without any selfish gain. For a moment, it felt as if I’d never find it. That I’d never get out of that dark place that I was in. Then, life prompted me to make the greatest decision of my life; to move to Lawrence, Kansas of all places. It may have seemed like a strange choice, but it was ultimately the right one, because that choice led me to finding you.”
She looked up at him, a tear now rolling down her face as she smiled through them. He was barely hanging on, and it warmed her heart to see all the love in his eyes.
“Dean, You got me out of that dark place. You’re my light, and I promise to always be yours too. I promise to always be your rock, to tell you just how much I respect you and appreciate you, to be your protector through any obstacle that comes our way, and to never doubt you or let you doubt yourself. I promise to love you forever, Dean Winchester.” As she finished, she looked up to see Dean subtly bend his head and wipe a tear away, turning back to her with a smile.
Cindy gave Y/N a wink before turning to Dean, a small nod letting him know it was his turn. He turned to Sam, who gave him his vows with a small smile, tapping his upper arm before Dean turned back to Y/N. He opened the folded paper, taking a deep breath as he hoped that his words would get his point across.
“It’s a good thing we gotta write these down, because I’m not good with words,” he said, looking up from the paper before he read it. “Even what I wrote might not be great, so-”
He stopped rambling as he felt Y/N’s hand slip into the one that wasn’t holding the paper, grasping it tightly. He looked at her and saw her smiling, her eyes holding all the promises she had just made. He smirked at her, knowing he could do this.
“I never thought of myself as the “get married” type of guy,” he started, looking intently at his vows. “Not for any other reason than I didn’t think it was on the cards for me. Then… right when I thought life was dealing me the short straw… I found you.” He looked up at Y/N, beaming at her as she did the same, her eyes watery.
“Y/N, you came into my life when I needed you most. You helped me understand what it meant to be supported, appreciated and respected. What it meant to be loved. You helped me get out of the cage I was in, and you helped me realize that I deserve better than what I had. I don’t think I’ve ever been happier that that “better” was you. You… you saved me,” he said, his voice hitching as he looked up at her, his eyes shining. He cleared his throat from the emotions he was feeling, looking down at his paper again. “Y/N, I promise you… I’ll always be there to tell you how much you mean to me, how much I appreciate you and respect you. I’ll always support you the way you have with me, and I’ll be your shield any time you feel that dark cloud coming in. I’ll never let anyone, or anything hurt you. I’m going to love you for the rest of this life and into the next, sweetheart.”
“Dean,” she gasped, shaking her head in wonder of her soon-to-be husband.
“Was that okay?” he asked, softly, nerves reflected on his features as he looked at her.
“It was beautiful,” she whispered.
“That was amazing, wasn’t it?” Cindy asked, receiving several cheers from the guests.
Dean and Y/N looked at their families, seeing both their mothers incredibly overwhelmed as they wiped away their tears.
“Alright, let’s do this,” Cindy said, smiling. “Can we have the rings?”
Jill and Sam both handed the rings to Y/N and Dean respectively, both of them smiling as Dean took her left hand. They couldn’t believe how close they were to being married.
“Dean,” Cindy started, turning to him. “Do you take Y/N Y/L/N to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, loving and honoring her all the days of your life, until death parts you?”
Dean smiled as images of Y/N when they first met on that fateful day and every incredible moment between them since then, flashed before his eyes. “I do,” he said, with more confidence than he had ever had in his life.
He slid the platinum wedding band onto her ring finger, sitting on top of her engagement ring. Y/N looked at him, her eyes never wanting to leave his as Cindy turned to her. She asked the same question of Y/N, who refused to look anywhere else than at the love of her life standing in front of her.
“I do,” Y/N stated, never breaking eye contact with the wonderful man looking back at her, as flashes of their life so far crossed her mind. She looked down briefly, sliding the matching platinum band onto his finger.
The anticipation crept up within them, more than ready to be declared husband and wife.
“Well, I guess it’s time then, isn’t it?” Cindy laughed, looking between both of them. “By the power invested by the state of Kansas, in front of your dear family and friends, I now pronounce you husband and wife. Dean,” Cindy declared, raising an eyebrow as she smiled at Dean.
Leaning forward, Dean’s arms wrapped around Y/N’s waist as he pulled her as close as he could. Her arms wrapped around his neck, their lips meeting in a passionate kiss. It was as if time stood still, as if every kiss until this one was only a teaser, their souls now connected forever. Everyone stood up and clapped, cheered and called out their congratulations, but the couple only heard them briefly.  After a moment, he pulled away and gave her the most beautiful smile she had ever seen on his face. They gave each other a few more short kisses, before they turned and smiled at everyone.
“Family and friends, I am delighted to present for the first time, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Winchester!” Cindy yelled, clapping excitedly.
Dean took Y/N’s hand, both of them making their way down the aisle, waving at their families and promising to see them soon. They walked off behind the trees, a moment alone before the photographs started. Dean cupped her face, pulling her into another passionate kiss.
“I love you so much,” he whispered between kisses.
“I love you, too,” she whispered back, desperate to keep kissing him.
“You’re my wife,” he said, laughing happily as he bit his lip.
“You’re my husband,” she sighed, kissing him again.
Their lips locked in a passionate exchange, not wanting to let go of each other. They stayed in each other’s embrace for a few moments, eventually pulling away from each other, knowing they needed to get to the next part of the day.
“Shall we?” he asked, looking deep into her eyes.
“Absolutely,” she replied, kissing him once more.
He offered her his arm, ready to take her to the photographer and start the rest of their special day. Y/N smiled and hooked her arm around Dean’s, strolling down the path with him as they held each other close.

The photographs took a bit of time, getting everyone coordinated and organized. They took family photos, with the bridal party, in every combination they could manage, before their photographer took pictures of just Y/N and Dean. He took them at more natural points, and based on that, they were excited to see what they would look like.
Once they were finished, they walked down the path and over to the reception, small chandeliers hanging from the top of the tent, and beautiful flower arrangements at the tables. Everyone turned to look at them and cheered as they came in, Dean taking Y/N’s hand and twirling her around the empty space that would be used as a dance floor. They had decided to get their first dance in, not wanting to pause the reception later and be the centre of attention even more than they already were.
Dean smiled at Y/N as he held her hand, pulling her in close as his other one rested on her hip. They looked into each other’s eyes, the song they had chosen floating in through the speakers. Y/N had told him about it, and after listening to it, he was on board straight away. It may not have been classic rock, but it was a classic in its own right and the cover that they had chosen of it suited the feel of their wedding.
Dance me to your beauty with a burning violin
Dance me through the panic 'til I'm gathered safely in
Lift me like an olive branch and be my homeward dove
And dance me to the end of love
Please dance me to the end of love
“You look so beautiful,” he stated, smiling down at her. “I couldn’t get that out when I saw you.”
“Well, now I can tell you how handsome you look, too,” she said, softly.
There may have been people around them watching as they danced, but their eyes were only on each other as they moved to the music. He leaned his forehead against hers, both of them wearing identical smiles as they swayed slowly. Tilting his head slightly, he kissed her nose softly, bringing her in closer.
“I can’t wait to spend forever with you,” she whispered, looking into his eyes.
“I can’t wait either, sweetheart,” he whispered back, leaning in and kissing her, passionately.
They pulled away after a moment, her head leaning against his shoulder as he rested his cheek against her head, both content as they closed their eyes.
Oh let me see your beauty when the witnesses are gone
Oh let me feel you moving like they do in Babylon
Oh show me slowly what I only know the limits of
And dance me to the end of love
Please dance me to the end of love
Suddenly, he took her hand and spun her, a squeal leaving her as she started laughing. Pulling her in, he laughed as they held each other close.
Dance me to the wedding now, dance me on and on
And dance me very tenderly and dance me very long
We're both of us beneath our love, and both of us above
And dance me to the end of love
Won't you dance me to the end of love
The guests cheered and clapped as the song ended, Dean and Y/N smiling at everyone as they made their way to their table, as everyone found their respective ones as well. The food had started being served, and the couple had never been more thankful, having been dying to eat all day. The little snacks throughout the day had only served to make them hungrier. The food was incredible, and the drinks were amazing. As the sun had set, the fairy lights all around the tent shined as did the chandeliers, bathing the area in a soft glow. As waiters took away plates and glasses, others came around with glasses of champagne, ready for the speeches. Dean had his arm around Y/N as it rested on her chair, both of them smiling as they saw her father stand up.
“Evening everyone, I’m David. Y/N’s father,” he started, looking around the tent at the guests. “Well, I hope you know who I am, otherwise well done for sneaking into an expensive meal unnoticed.”
There were laughs around the area, as Y/N’s jaw dropped. She and her mother looked at each other, shaking their heads as Jill giggled, sitting on the other side of Y/N. Dean chuckled lightly, nodding as he sipped his water.
“I just want to welcome you all and thank you for being here for this incredible occasion, of my daughter’s wedding. Meredith and I want to thank John and Mary as well, for being so welcoming of us and our side from New York. I know that Y/N’s talked about how wonderful you both are, and we’ve definitely seen it, so thank you,” he continued, gesturing to Dean’s parents who sat next to David and Meredith.
“Y/N, Dean… congratulations to you both. Y/N, honey, your mother and I are so proud of you and the woman you’ve become. God knows you’ve been through a lot, but you came out of it more courageous, stronger, and more determined to keep fighting. Dean, the day we met you we got to see just how much you care for our daughter. We knew without a doubt that she was going to be safe and provided for. So… I know that as much as it kills me to let my daughter go… She’s going to be happy and well looked after. As long as you remember the cardinal rule of marriage: one person is always right, and the other person is you,” he said, making everyone laugh again.
“So, I know we’ve all been emotional today, I mean even the cake is in tiers,” David said, causing some cringing from his wife and daughters. Dean pressed his lips together, trying not to laugh as his wife shook her head at her dad.
“But once these speeches are done, let’s have some fun, okay?” David smiled, lifting his glass. “To Dean and Y/N, I know that your relationship is already a strong one, so may it continue to always be.”
Mary stood up, already a mess of tears as she tried to dap them away. She smiled over at the couple and took a deep breath as she prepared to talk to them.
“I want to start off quickly by thanking everyone for coming today as well. I look around now and see so many people who are so important to our family, and it just warms my heart to see you all here, and to see some other very important people who have now joined our family,” she started, looking from David and Meredith to Y/N. “I’m so happy for my son, who’s found someone who makes his world brighter. Y/N, thank you for seeing all of the good things in my son and for loving him for all of it and more. I’m so glad you came into his life, and therefore, ours. There’s not much I can say to you as advice because I already know how much you both care for each other, but as long as that remains constant, as long as you’re there for each other, support each other, love each other… I know you’re both going to be happy forever.” She blew a kiss to them as she sat down, smiling as John kissed her cheek.
Dean watched his parents and saw how much they still loved each other, even after all the things they had been through and all the years together. If he and Y/N were half as happy as they are, he knew they would be perfectly fine.
Jill stood up from her seat next to Y/N, as everyone at their table adjusted to face her. She smiled down at Y/N, who returned it, her eyes never leaving her older sister.
“Hey everybody, I’m Jill, Y/N’s sister. I’m going to ask that you all bear with me because I may cry as I talk about the greatest little sister a girl could ask for,” Jill stated, already getting choked up before even starting her speech. “While she may have had a mean streak when we were younger, like the time she shaved my eyebrow off while I was sleeping-”
There were audible gasps and laughs around the tent, as Y/N shook her head, ready to argue.
“That was because she spat toothpaste in my hair because I bent down at the sink before her!” she yelled, causing everyone to laugh.
“Which is tame compared to the eyebrow,” Jill countered, laughing. “Dean… you better watch out.”
Dean choked on his water, coughing slightly as he laughed. Y/N playfully glared at him, causing him to press his lips together to stop laughing.
“Anyway, while that may have happened… none of it changed how amazing a person she is. With everything she’s been through, everything she’s fought for, and everything she’s accomplished… I’m so constantly in awe of her and the incredible force that she is,” Jill added, looking down at her sister, tears in her eyes.
“When she told me about Dean and how she was starting to fall for him, I thought about how I’ve never heard her sound like this. She had been in love before, but never quite like this. More than anything, it was how she spoke about Dean that struck me. How much respect she had for him, how in awe she was of him, how crazy she was about him. From that, I knew that there was something there that was special. Meeting Dean only proved that further,” Jill said, looking over at her new brother-in-law. “I saw how much he reciprocated all of those things back to Y/N, and that was when I truly knew… that this guy, well he was the real deal.”
Dean smiled at her, a little nod between them to acknowledge that Jill had always approved and would always continue to do so.
“So, Dean… welcome to our family. Thank you for taking care of my sister the way you have so far… I know she’s in safe hands and you’ll always continue to do so,” Jill ended her speech, sitting back down and leaning over to Y/N, hugging her tightly.
“I love you,” she whispered.
“I love you, too,” Y/N whispered back, kissing her cheek.
Sam stood up next to Dean, standing in such a way that Eileen could read his lips as he spoke. He had been signing for her so far, Eileen having refused an interpreter at the reception as they wouldn’t have needed him for very long, unlike the ceremony. Sam cleared his throat, looking around at everyone before he started.
“Hi everyone, I’m Sam, Dean’s younger brother and best man. So, I had thought a lot about what to say today, since Dean asked me to be his best man, actually. I thought about how I should say nice things about my big brother, but then everything I thought about didn’t feel like enough to tell you all how great he really is,” Sam said, looking around at the guests before he looked at Dean.
Dean looked at Sam, a small smile on his face as he wasn’t used to his little brother saying things about him.
“My entire life, Dean’s protected me. I didn’t always like it; in fact, sometimes I really wasn’t appreciative of everything he did for me. Then of course there were the stupid pranks he pulled on me. I’m sure most people know the Nair incident, but let’s not bring up old wounds… let’s just say, Dean got into a lot of trouble for that one,” Sam continued. He raised an eyebrow as he looked at his brother, as people laughed, shook their heads in disbelief as they remembered the incident, while others looked around wondering what happened.
“Still can’t believe you did that,” Y/N whispered, shaking her head at Dean.
“Well, clearly we’re made for each other, what with shaving off Jill’s eyebrow,” he whispered back, smirking.
She giggled and leaned in, kissing him softly.
“Then as I grew up, I realized that despite the pranks, despite the constant annoying comments about my hair, the bad singing in the car, the same five albums playing over and over every time we went somewhere, the way that he always had to have the last word… through all of that, the fact that he always there when I needed him… it was the one thing, in the whole world, that I could always count on. It’s the only thing I’ve ever known that was true,” Sam said, clearing his throat as he felt the emotion rising up from his chest.
Dean smiled softly, letting a low exhale, deeply touched by everything his little brother was saying.
“That’s why I know without even a shred of doubt, that Y/N…” Sam looked at her as he spoke his next words. “Dean’s going to be there for you through anything for as long as you’re both living on this planet.”
Y/N smiled, her heart skipping a beat at Sam’s beautiful words.
“And yeah, sure, he’s going to probably piss you off. You know who to vent to when that happens,” Sam laughed as he gestured to himself. Dean shook his head as he annoyedly glared at Sam, causing Y/N to chuckle, as others joined in.
“But he’s never going to let you down,” Sam continued, smiling. “And I have to thank you too, Y/N. I told you the first time I met you that you’re good for Dean, and I’ve never seen anything to tell me otherwise, for as long as you’ve been together. For a while there, he was lost, but you found him and brought him back to being the person that he is and always has been. I know I speak for everyone when I say we’ll be thanking you for that for years to come.”
A small tear rolled down Y/N’s face, causing her to dab it away with the tissue in her hand.
“So, without me going on and on, let’s raise our glasses to the bride and groom,” Sam announced, lifting up his glass of champagne, as all the guests did the same. “I hope you both have an amazing life together, counting on the things that are honest and true. To Dean and Y/N!”
“To Dean and Y/N!” everyone cheered, clapping and sipping champagne.
Dean and Y/N clinked their glasses together, kissing softly before they each took a sip of the sparkling liquid. They both got up from the table and thanked everyone, Y/N hugging her dad then Mary for their beautiful words. Dean went over to Sam, tapping him on the shoulder.
“That was some speech, little brother,” he said, smirking.
“Yeah, I tried to mix it up,” Sam stated, laughing slightly. “Tried not to make it too chick-flick for you.”
“Thanks for that.” Dean chuckled slightly, before he smiled at him. “What you said about Y/N though… it was great, man.”
“Well, she’s great,” Sam affirmed, looking between Dean and Y/N, who was talking with Mary.
“Yeah, she is,” Dean said, quietly as he smiled, watching her. He turned to Sam and gestured to come closer, both of them hugging as they clapped each other on the back.
“Thanks, Sammy.” Dean smirked as he pulled away from his brother, grasping his shoulder.
“Don’t mention it,” Sam said, smiling as he patted Dean’s arm.
They went their separate ways, as Dean and Y/N continued to make their way around and meet everyone. He hugged Mary when he got around to seeing his parents, not before receiving a quick kiss from Y/N as she walked past him to continue socializing with others.
“How do you feel?” John asked.
Dean grinned. “I feel… amazing.”
“Told you you’d get through it,” John said, softly as he smiled.
“Thanks, dad.” Dean smiled at his dad, hugging him.
“Dean!” he heard his groomsmen call out to him, making him pull away from his father.
“It’s okay, we’ll catch up later,” John said, a small chuckle leaving him.
Dean smiled and then walked over to his friends, seeing Y/N head over to them too. He leaned down and kissed her, passionately once they reached each other.
“Alright, let’s dance,” she said, taking his hand in hers.
“Dean dancing? This I gotta see,” Sam teased, smirking.
“Hey, I’ll have you know that my new sister-in-law taught me a few things,” Dean stated, tilting his head over at Jill.
Y/N’s eyes widened in surprise. “Really? When?”
“Really, and a few days ago, when she got here,” Dean replied, smirking.
“Well, let’s go then!” she yelled, laughing as she dragged him onto the dance floor.
Most of the guests were dancing, drinking and having an amazing time, while others mingled, talked to people they hadn’t caught up with yet or hadn’t met ever. Everyone was having the time of their lives, none more so than Dean and Y/N. She laughed in surprise and excitement as he danced with her to a faster Elvis song, loving to see him so carefree. After a few songs, they stopped in the middle to cut the cake, everyone gorging on the delicious sweet. She ran her finger through some of it on the surface of the knife, offering it to him. She felt her cheeks heat up as he sucked on her finger, winking at her.
“Little preview for later?” she asked, smiling.
“Maybe,” he replied, smirking.
The night continued on, the women all dancing together when “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” came on. Dean was having a conversation with Bobby but kept getting distracted as he looked over at Y/N, dancing with Jill, Charlie and Meg. Evie and Mia bopped at their feet, being very careful not to step on aunty Y/N’s dress. Dean quickly finished talking to Bobby, promising to catch up with him in a few days time, before making his way to the dance floor.  He roared as he swooped in, picking up Mia and spinning her around. She laughed and squealed, holding him tightly as he joined everyone. The song changed over to “Dancing in the Dark”, as more people joined in. Jill and Brian danced together, as the girls danced with their aunt and uncle.
“Uncle Dean, guess what?” Evie yelled over the music.
“What’s up, kiddo?” Dean looked down at her, taking her hand and spinning her around, as he held Mia in his arm.
“I had bacon today and I liked it!” Evie told him, excitedly.
Dean put a hand over his heart, smiling at her. “Kid after my own heart.”
She latched onto him, making it difficult for him to move, but he leaned over and kissed Y/N, having gone too long since their previous one. Eventually, pretty much everyone was on the floor, dancing together as they continued to enjoy themselves.
The night began to wind down, as a few more guests thanked them for a wonderful night and they thanked them for being there, before they left. Y/N was chatting with Jody and the girls, when Dean came up behind her, putting his arms around her.
“Excuse me, ladies, but I gotta steal this one away,” he told them, slowly turning Y/N around.
“Go ahead,” Jody said, smiling.
“The girls want you to throw the bouquet and then we can head out,” Dean said, kissing her softly.
“Head out? We’re only going home, we can stay a bit longer,” she stated, frowning.
He smirked, shaking his head. “We’re not going home.”
“Oh really?” she asked, smiling. “What do you have up your sleeve this time, Dean Winchester?”
“Well, considering we’re not going on our honeymoon until next month because of the last few weeks of school, I pulled some strings with a customer who’s a manager at a hotel in town, and got us a room,” he replied, biting his lip as he smirked.
“You’re amazing,” she said, simply as she shrugged.
“So are you,” he said, leaning in and kissing her, lovingly.
Within a few minutes, Y/N got up on a chair as the women all gathered around to take part in a tradition she wasn’t too fond of, but Charlie had convinced her that it was a bit of fun. Y/N turned her back to them, launching the bouquet overhead, turning to see it glide through the air. Charlie stepped aside to let it end up in Meg’s vision, causing her to launch forward and grab the flowers. She looked at them with shock, not having been close enough to catch them and yet there she was. Holding the bouquet.
Cas looked on from where the guys were standing, suddenly feeling hot under the collar of his shirt. Sam looked at him, biting the inside of his cheek to keep from laughing.
“You okay there, Cas?” he asked, smirking.
“Fine,” Cas replied, clearing his throat.
“Looks like you’re next,” Benny teased with a smirk of his own.
Dean laughed, tapping Cas on the back. “Relax, man. You look like you’re gonna barf.”
“I’m fine,” Cas repeated, his voice raspy and nervous.
The three of them looked at each other, chuckling quietly.
Within another hour, the reception came to a close, just a little after 12:30am. Their immediate family and friends stayed and left the tent with them, as they made their way back to the ranch house where they had gotten ready. The girls helped Y/N change out of her wedding dress, promising to take it back home for her. She got dressed into a white, A-line dress that came to just above her knees, changing into white shoes that had a shorter heel. She smiled as Charlie handed over an overnight bag she had packed for her, telling her that she was in on the surprise from Dean. Doing one last sweep of the room, the girls left and walked out to the parking lot.
She smiled as she saw Dean leaning against the Impala, his white dress shirt tight across his muscles as he crossed his arms, having ditched the suit jacket. The back of the car had a “Just Married” sign stuck to the trunk, and cans tied underneath. She knew he couldn’t have been happy about that, but he didn’t seemed he didn’t seem to care at that moment. They said their goodbyes to everyone, before Dean turned around and walked to the car, opening the passenger side door as he waited for Y/N.
She waved at everyone as she hurried over, quickly sitting inside as he shut the door. He waved at all the guests one last time as he ran around the front of the car, getting into the driver’s seat.
“Ready?” he asked, as he turned to Y/N. He had the most perfect smile on his face, which she reciprocated.
“Ready.” She leaned over, kissing him softly as he started the engine.
With one last look in the rear-view mirror, Dean’s foot pressed down on the accelerator. The Impala sped off, as he pressed the horn a few times and Y/N stuck her head out of the open window, waving as everyone cheered. They made it down the long drive, everyone disappearing from view, as Dean took a right turn and put them in the direction of Kansas City.

Once they arrived at the hotel, checked in and rode the elevator to their floor, they made their way to their room. Y/N stood back as Dean opened the door, took her bag from her and dropped both of them inside the door, holding it open with his foot. He took Y/N’s hand and bent down, wrapping an arm under her legs and around her back, picking her up.
“Really?” she asked, laughing as she wrapped her arms around his neck.
“Hey, we stuck to other traditions today, might as well stick to this one, too,” he replied, as he carried her across the threshold and into their hotel room, the door shutting behind them.
He walked over to the bed and carefully dropped her onto the covers, the rose petals scattering around. She laughed as he climbed on top of her, his legs on either side of her. The lights in the room were dimmed, giving everything a warm glow as they gazed into each other’s eyes.
“Hi, wife,” he breathed, grinning.
“Hi, husband,” she whispered, beaming.
He leaned in, kissing her passionately as he took her hands in his and placed them on either side of her head, their fingers curling between each other’s. The kiss became heated quickly, both of them wanting to be as close to the other as possible, after being apart since the night before.
“Dean,” she mumbled against his lips. She bit her lip as she wiggled her eyebrows. “I think I need to slip into something more comfortable.”
He hummed, kissing her again quickly. “I think you do, too.”
He rolled away from her, letting her sit up and stand up from the bed. She turned back to him and felt a heat spread through her body and settle in her as she looked at him, his legs crossed as he leaned up on his elbows, smirking at her. His white shirt had a couple of buttons open, exposing his neck and clavicle, making her shiver. She smiled at him and walked away to the bathroom, picking up her overnight bag along the way, and shutting the door.
Y/N looked at herself in the mirror, smiling as she let out a small squeal. She had never felt as happy as she did in her relationship with Dean, and she couldn’t wait to see how much deeper their love would grow now that they were married. Unzipping her dress on the side, she slipped it off and took off the simple bra and underwear she had put on. She unzipped her bag, smiling when she saw the white lingerie she had bought. Good thing she had told Charlie about it and her friend packed it for her. She slipped it on, clasping the bra and adjusting all the straps. She took out the soft lace robe and put it on. Looking at herself in the mirror again, she took out all the pins from her hair, flicking it back and forth to open it up. She stroked her hands through it and fluffed it, the strands now wavy from being in the bun all day.
With one last check in the mirror, Y/N opened the door and walked out. She smiled as Dean sat on the edge of the bed, taking his shoes off. She cleared her throat and he looked up, stopping what he was doing as his eyes raked over her. He looked up into her eyes, smiling as he dropped his shoes and leaned back on his hands, watching her walk over to him. She straddled him, wrapping her arms around his neck as he sat up, placing his hands on her hips.
“Like it?” she asked, as her hands combed through his hair at the back of his head.
He hummed as he leaned in, kissing her neck softly. “Definitely… but I think I’d like it better on the floor.”
His hands moved up to her shoulders, her arms moving back to let him push her robe down her arms, letting the delicate material slip to the floor. She shifted forward, her covered mound pressing against his crotch as she began to grind slowly. He pulled her closer, kissing her neck, nipping at the spot that always drove her crazy.
“God, I love you so damn much, sweetheart,” he whispered between kisses, making his way to her mouth, pressing a searing kiss to her lips.
“I love you, too,” she said, pulling away briefly. “So much.”
His hands slid around her back, slowly unclasping the bra and unhooking the bottom part of the lingerie. He pulled it off her and threw it on the floor, leaving her in the matching white lace thong.
Pulling her into him, Dean turned and laid Y/N down on the bed, her head resting against the pillows. She sat up, reaching for his shirt and unbuttoning it, kissing him feverishly as she pushed it off his shoulders and tossed it on the floor. He leaned over, laying her back against the bed, moving in to kiss her again. He trailed his lips down, kissing along her neck and collarbone, down the valley of her breasts, stopping to plant a kiss to each of them, making his way down her stomach.
“So beautiful,” he whispered against her skin, making her press her lips together, her cheeks hot from his admiration.
She looked down at him, watching as he pulled her thong down her legs and dropped it to the floor. Their eyes met as he moved between her legs, a small smirk on his face as he leaned in and placed a kiss to her sex. She bit her lip as they kept eye contact, a gasp leaving her as he licked a stripe over her folds. He moved his tongue from her entrance to her clit, tasting her as she started to get wet. He ran his tongue over her swollen nub in circles, causing a small moan to escape her lips. He started to alternate between sucking at her clit and slowly thrusting his tongue into her wet canal, as her hands moved into his short locks.
“Dean, oh my god,” she moaned, looking down at him as her hands gripped his hair tight.
“Taste so good, sweetheart,” he groaned.
He continued his ministrations, as a string of moans left her, his name falling from her lips as she felt her core tighten, knowing that she was close. No matter how many times Dean did this for her, every time was a euphoric experience, a feeling that could never be compared to anything else because it was just that amazing. Every single time.
“God, feels so good,” she whimpered, closing her eyes tightly.
“Come on, baby,” he whispered against her thigh, planting a kiss to her flesh. “Cum on my tongue, wanna feel it.” He dipped his head and continued to suck at the swollen nub and lick at her entrance, ready to bring her over the edge.
“Dean, fuck I-” she moaned, threw her head back. “Dean!”
The coil snapped as she came, her wetness slicking his tongue and lips. He lapped at everything she gave him, not moving until he was satisfied. Pressing a kiss to her inner thigh, he drifted up, holding himself above her as he smiled.
“You alright, sweetheart?” he asked, softly.
She reached up, cupping his face in her hands and bringing him closer, kissing his lips and tasting herself on them. She looked up at him, stroking her thumbs across his cheeks as she looked into his eyes. “I really am.”
His eyes flicked over every part of her face, taking in every feature. “You’re so beautiful.”
“So are you,” she whispered, gazing into his green orbs.
“Wanna be inside you, sweetheart,” he groaned, softly, as he reached for the belt on his pants.
“Want that too,” she sighed, reaching up to plant kisses along his jaw. “Need you inside me.”
Dean took off his belt and dropped it down the side of the bed, undoing his pants and slipping them off along with his boxers, throwing them to the floor. He was hard, his cock throbbing after he had brought her over the edge with his mouth. He took a hold of his shaft, pressing the tip to her entrance, as her legs spread a little more. Knowing she was more than ready for him, he sank into her, a soft moan leaving her lips as she felt her walls stretch and sheath his cock completely.
“Fuck, you feel so good inside me, Dean,” she whispered, kissing his cheek. “So good.”
“So perfect wrapped around me,” he whispered back.
He pulled back slightly, thrusting back into her as he set a slow, sensual rhythm. He leaned down on his forearms, his face closer to hers, kissing her passionately. She held onto his shoulders, her legs wrapping around him, her heels digging into the globes of his ass. Their bodies moved together in a slow dance, their lips moving against each other at the same pace.
“I love you,” she whispered against his lips, a soft and loving smile on her face.
Dean pulled back slightly, looking deep into her eyes. He couldn’t believe that he got to be her husband, feeling overwhelmed by the moment as he continued to move within her.
“I love you so much, Dean Winchester,” she sighed, her hands moving up to cup his face again. “I’m going to love you for the rest of my life.”
Dean reached up and took her hands in his, their fingers linked as he held them down on either side of her head. He leaned in, pressing his forehead to hers, their eyes boring into each other’s. For yet another time in their relationship, he wondered how luck finally came to him, how he finally found the woman of his dreams. He marvelled that he found a woman who truly cared for him, who loved him unconditionally and saw past his flaws. He couldn’t believe his luck to get the chance to spend his whole life with her.
Y/N breathed heavily as she gazed up at him, seeing his eyes begin to water. She couldn’t believe that this man above her had come into her life right when she needed him. That he had found everything about her incredible, to the point where he had committed to spending his whole life with her. He loved her and made her feel safe, and she constantly thanked the universe every day that they found each other.
A tear rolled down Dean’s right cheek, causing Y/N to reach up and softly brush it away. Another tear escaped his left eye, as he let out a mix between a gasp and a moan. His shoulders shook as a wave of emotions flooded him; his jaw clenched as he tried to keep the tears at bay.
“I love you so fucking much, sweetheart,” he rasped, a few more tears escaping.
She held his face in her hands, leaning up slightly to softly brush her lips against his cheeks, kissing his tears away. He continued to move within her, her walls clenching around his cock as his hips undulated slowly, hitting her g-spot repeatedly. Her hands joined with his again, their fingers tight around each other’s. Linked together. Forever.
She smiled through tears of her own, tilting her head to kiss his lips softly. “I love you, D.”
He thrusted into her a little faster, knowing that she was close from the way she contracted around him. He leaned up slightly, looking down at her as he moved deep with her, her hips meeting his. She felt the heat in her belly rise, her core tightening again, her second release fast approaching.
“Dean,” she moaned loudly, her hands grasping his tightly. “Baby, I’m so close.”
“Me too, gorgeous,” he grunted, clenching his jaw. “Cum with me.”
She looked deep into his eyes, as his hips snapped against hers a few more times, causing her to moan loudly. With their names on each other’s lips, they fell over the edge together, her wetness slicking his shaft, as his seed coated her inner walls, the euphoria washing over them like a calming ocean.
Dean breathed heavily as he dropped his head to her chest, his lower body slowly laying between her legs. She ran her hands through his sweat-soaked hair, holding his head in place, her chest rising and falling harshly as she caught her breath. He turned his head slightly, softly kissing the top of her breast and any other part of her skin that he could reach. He slowly pulled out of her, but she didn’t allow him to move away.
“That was incredible,” she said, softly, feeling a tear escape her eye and run down the side of her face.
He nodded against her chest, not trusting his voice at that moment.
They lay there in the same position for a few moments, until Dean rolled off her and shifted back against the pillows. Y/N moved into him, resting her head on his chest and wrapping her arm around him. Her fingers made random patterns on his chest, both of them basking in the afterglow of their wedding night love making. Soon, sleep was starting to creep in. He reached up and turned off the lights from the switch near the bed, the clock on the bedside table reading 2:15am.
“I love you, Dean Winchester,” she whispered, her eyes closing.
“I love you, too, Y/N Winchester,” he whispered back.
They fell into a deep slumber, their bodies moulded together perfectly, their minds replaying the beautiful memories of their special day and knowing that come sunrise would be the start of new ones being made.
It would be the start of their new chapter together as husband and wife.

I’m not posting a tag list for this part because it’s late and I’m exhausted and wanna get it out for you guys. If it does poorly I’ll go back and tag but right now I’m just very over tag lists. Follow the “#hqoe f&f” tag or “falsehoods & fistfights” or “Hqoe writes” tags to more closely follow my work. You can also follow @highqueenofelfhamewrites and turn on post notifications if you want to be notified of my writing! I’m not doing this to be mean, I’m doing it to save time and frustration when the tagging system fails (as it often does)
Hugest shoutout in the world to @punkassbookjockey26 for being the best beta in the entire world. She helped so much with this update!! Give her a pat on the back.
Part One // Masterlist
Rowaelin // 5681 words
~*~
For the last several hours, the clatter of her clicking keyboard and the flipping of pages had been on a continuous loop. At some point, Aelin had opened Spotify and forgotten to turn on any music, clearly content to keep to her rigorous work pace in near-silence. The door to her office was closed, and no one had stopped by to bother her since she’d arrived. Only a handful of phone calls had disrupted her this morning, which meant she had gotten plenty of work done.
Except that it wasn’t morning at all— it was two in the afternoon, and she couldn’t quite figure out how the hell that had happened. She was still squinting at the time on her computer screen when a firm knock sounded at the door, and she called out, “Yes?”
“Have you eaten today?” At the sound of Rowan’s voice, Aelin’s head whipped toward the door. She was unable to stop the smile that spread wide across her face or stop herself rising from her chair to meet him. Aelin perched against her desk, accepting the brown paper bag he held in his hands. No, she hadn’t eaten, not since her half a bagel and cup of coffee before she arrived at work. She’d left a banana in her car for a snack but hadn’t wanted to run back down for it.
“Barely. I didn’t even realize it was past lunch,” Aelin sighed, looking back up at his face. Rowan was grinning down at her as she tore a bite of croissant off and popped it into her mouth. The man looked criminally good, wearing jeans that hugged his legs in all the right places and a white button-up shirt. He rolled his sleeves up to his elbows, and her eyes lingered on his tattoo that swirled down to his fingertips.
“Can I kiss you in here?” His question caught her off guard, a laugh bursting from her lips. “Because this whole…” Rowan gestured to her outfit. “It’s really doing it for me.”
“You like librarian Aelin?”
“Yes,” he said, leaning down to press his lips to hers. The get-up he referred to was a pinstriped pencil skirt that hit just above her knees and patent black stiletto heels that had her only a few inches shorter than him. She had a red tank top tucked into the skirt and, at some point, had discarded her white cardigan over the back of her office chair. Her lips matched her shirt in a bright, matte, red lipstick that she’d neglected to touch up throughout the day. Still, when Rowan pulled away, his mouth was tinged with the outline of hers. “I like this a lot. Fuck.”
“For the record, you can kiss me anywhere you want to,” she told him. “Especially in my office, especially when the door is closed.”
“Noted.” Rowan tugged on her high ponytail before sinking into one of the leather armchairs in front of her. Aelin continued to munch on the variety of pastries he’d brought for her while his eyes seemed to be glued to her legs. Aelin wondered if he was thinking about laying her out on this desk and having his way with her here, but she also knew he wouldn’t let that be their first time. No matter how badly she wanted it to be.
“To what do I owe the pleasure, Mr. Whitethorn?” She asked, nudging his thigh with the toe of her shoe. The way he raked his teeth over his bottom lip before looking up at her told her that, yes, he was thinking what she was thinking. The way he quirked his brow at her also told her that, no, it wasn’t going to happen.
They were kind of dating, in the sense that they had been on a handful of dates. They had shared many heated kisses against the door to her apartment when he dropped her off, but he was being such a godsdamn gentleman about all of it that they hadn’t had sex yet. Aelin would have fucked him in the bathroom of the bar that first night, and they both knew it. But something was holding him back. To be fair, she couldn’t place all of the blame on him. She was holding back as well. Whatever this was between them felt like something that could be extraordinary, and she didn’t want to be the one that fucked it all up because she couldn’t keep it in her pants.
“I have a fight on Saturday, and I was really hoping you would want to come. Obviously, I would give you tickets, plus however many extra you want to bring whoever.”
“Just Aedion, I think.” Her cousin would likely die to be personally invited to one of Rowan Whitethorn’s fights, the same way Aelin knew he’d been having a bit of a mental breakdown when he found Aelin with him at the bar.
“Not your friends’ cup of tea?” He teased with a grin.
“Not even really mine, but you get like, almost naked for these things, yeah?” Rowan’s head tilted back as he laughed, reaching out to catch her fingers between his own. He squeezed them, shaking his head at her. “I’m just saying, any female fans you have are not because they want to watch you fight. I Googled you.”
“Of course you did.”
“And if coming on Saturday,” she paused, fighting the twitch of her lips at the innuendo, “is what gets me to see you sweaty and naked, I will be there.”
“Apparently, you can find that on Google also.” Aelin started to jerk her hand from his, but he laughed again and tugged forcefully enough that she dropped into his lap, his arms settling around her hips.
They didn’t have sex on her desk by the time he left, but he did have a trail of lipstick down his neck and red smudges on his collar.
~*~
There had only been a few times where Aelin had seen Aedion this excited. He was practically jumping out of his skin, trying and failing to keep his wide grin at bay. The whole way there, he’d talked about Rowan’s stats and how likely it was for him to win this fight. Apparently, it was very likely, and according to Aedion, if anyone bet against Rowan in the gambling pools, they were going to lose a lot of money.
This version of Aedion was almost completely opposite the one that had shown up an hour late to the bar a few weeks ago, only to find Aelin perched in his personal hero’s lap.
By the time Aelin spotted a familiar head of golden blonde hair making his way through the crowd, Rowan had stayed true to his promise. He’d bought her not one but two drinks, and she had a very happy buzz flowing through her.
“Aedion!” She hadn’t bothered to get out of Rowan’s lap; she liked the way his hand felt on her thigh, the other twirling a piece of hair around his finger while he talked to the tall, broody one— Lorcan.
“I’m sorry I’m late.”
“It’s okay; I made friends! And a fiancé!” Rowan laughed then, sticking his hand out for Aedion to shake.
“I’m the fiancé. Rowan Whitethorn. You must be the cousin she’s been waiting on.”
“I got held up at work. Aedion Ashryver, nice to meet you.” Despite the cool and collected exterior Aedion was giving off, Aelin knew without a doubt that he was dying inside. She spent several nights curled up on his couch while Aedion and his friends watched Rowan’s fights, though she’d never cared enough to pay attention. Usually, she disappeared to his guest room to read a book or snuck out after an acceptable amount of time to hang out with her own friends.
Aelin had heard about Rowan’s victories time and time again. When Aedion showed her different self-defense moves, he would say that Rowan Whitethorn took someone down with the same simple maneuver. To say that he admired Rowan would be an understatement. He damn near idolized him.
“Nice to meet you? That’s what you’re going with?” Aelin asked, mouth dropping open as everything Aedion had ever said about the man beneath her flooded her memory. Aelin looked at Rowan, shaking her head and pointing at her cousin. “All I ever hear about when you have a fight coming up is ‘Rowan Whitethorn this’ and ‘Rowan Whitethorn that.’ Yet now he’s here, and all he says is nice to meet you. Unbelievable.”
“Rowan doesn’t look like someone who particularly cares for fan service. Though if I’m wrong, correct me, and I will rectify that immediately. On my knees even, if he decides he’s interested in men at all.”
Aelin’s lips dipped into a drunk pout as she said, “I saw him first.”
“Technically, I saw you first,” Rowan interjected, a teasing tone in his voice. “And you rejected me.” A wrinkle appeared between her brows as she looked up at Rowan’s handsome face, disliking that she was already being ganged up on.
“I’m sorry— you rejected him?” Aedion sputtered in disbelief. Aelin flicked Rowan’s nose, and just like that, they settled into an easy banter that tugged on Aelin’s heart entirely too much.
Now, though, Aedion seemed to be nearly vibrating out of his skin with excitement. At will-call, they’d learned Rowan had set aside special floor seating just for them. When they walked into the arena, Aelin was pleased to see Rowan’s group of friends from the bar. She’d spent the most time with Fenrys than anyone else, and he welcomed her with a big hug, insisting she sit beside him instead of Lorcan. Aelin was more than happy to oblige, as Lorcan didn’t seem to have a taste for her. He didn’t even bother saying hello.
They settled into their seats, Aelin sitting between Fenrys and Aedion, both of whom had skipped the pleasantries and moved right into a conversation about the upcoming fight. Aelin leaned back into her chair and took in the surroundings. There were bits and pieces she remembered from her time barely watching matches with Aedion, but it was still different than what she expected. There was a large octagonal ring in the center of the room surrounded by black fencing that had to be about six feet tall. She wondered briefly if the fence was to keep people out or to keep the fighters in.
People were milling about, but Aelin realized that the arena itself was three levels high, and seats were piled around the room from floor to ceiling. There had to be thousands of them, and from the look of the crowds filing in, there wasn’t going to be an empty spot in the house. She hadn’t realized that MMA had such a following.
After about twenty minutes, the lights dimmed and the booming voice of the announcer filled the arena. People cheered wildly as the introductions for the fight were made and the sponsors were thanked. And finally, Aeling knew it was time. The announcer over-dramaticized the entrance for the first fighter and Aelin watched as a lean-muscled man walked up to the ring. He entered through a gate on the side, and people cheered as he made his rounds. Aelin sat on the edge of her seat for the announcer to start his next introduction, ready to see Rowan walking through the tunnel, when a different name was announced and a different man came strolling out. The confusion must have been all over her face when she looked at Aedion because he leaned forward with his elbows on his knees.
“Rowan is the main event,” he said. “Which means there are a few fights before his.”
“Seriously? You mean I have to wait?” Aedion nodded and her scowl deepened. “How long?”
“Looking at the schedule, Rowan’s fight is slated to start in about two hours.”
“Two hours?! I have to wait two hours!?”
“Come on, Ace. It won’t be that bad. Just try to enjoy it.” Aedion turned away and was immediately drawn into the fight that had begun in the ring just a few feet in front of her. Aelin pouted, remembering all the reasons why she never stuck around to watch these matches with Aedion previously.
“All I wanted was to see Rowan sweaty and half-naked. I literally don’t care about anyone else,” she grumbled, mostly to herself. Beside her, Fenrys chuckled and threw his arm around the back of her seat as she settled back. Aelin frowned down at her phone, opening Snapchat to get a quick photo of her expression, which she promptly sent to Rowan.
It took him a good ten minutes to reply back to her, and it seemed he knew why she was pouting because the text across his photo simply said be patient.
After that, she didn’t want to bother him, and whatever pre-match rituals he may have, so she settled for scrolling through various social media apps to bide her time. When she found herself restless, she gave in and opened her book app to continue reading a romance novel she’d started the day before. The male love interest may have been a boxer and may have been incredibly sexy, and she may have downloaded it after searching for fighting-related books.
She had just reached a particularly steamy part of the book when she felt Aedion nudge her arm. Godsdamn him, the leading male was just about to give the girl the orgasm of her life when he’d interrupted. Aelin scowled up at her cousin, but the expression morphed into one of incredulity and excitement when she heard Rowan’s name announced, and he walked out into the arena.
Aelin immediately perked up in her seat, sliding her phone between her thigh and the chair. Rowan strolled out like a king surveying his kingdom, and the cheers were deafening. He wore absolutely nothing but a pair of forest green athletic shorts that left little to the imagination and some sort of fist guards over his hands. A wicked grin formed on his lips as he jogged up to the ring and hoisted himself up over the side with practiced ease. There was a very dramatic introduction, one that had the entire crowd screaming and getting to their feet. Aelin couldn’t help but join them, giving a standing ovation to the man she’d spent so many stolen hours with lately. Beside her, Aedion was absolutely losing it. It only made her smile more.
Even as the arena quieted while the referee explained the rules, nobody returned to their seats. Everyone stayed on their feet, and Aelin could understand why. Once the fight started and the hits and kicks started to get thrown around, she found herself filled with a restless energy that she couldn’t push down. Every time his opponent’s fist swung toward him, her heart began to beat frantically in her chest.
But Rowan ducked and dipped out of reach almost every time. The way the muscles of his arms and legs rippled every time he took a swing at the other man, Cairn, her mouth went dry. She hadn’t walked into the arena tonight expecting to find anything about the fight beautiful, but it was. The way that Rowan’s body moved was like watching a dance unfold before her. Every swing of his arm or swift kick of his leg sending her heart racing just like it had when she’d watched ballets growing up. It felt like such a bizarre comparison to make, but Rowan Whitethorn’s body was nothing short of a work of art.
But there was also a ferocity in it. Where ballet was soft and demure, Rowan was a force of nature. His face was hewn from stone, each strike with his hands or legs precise and controlled, but with an element of chaos surrounding it. He unleashed himself on Cairn, throwing punches and kicks swiftly, so quick that Aelin could not keep up with where the next one was going to land. With brutal efficiency, Rowan managed to get past Cairn’s guard to deliver several painful-looking blows in quick succession that had the crowd collectively wincing. It seemed that Aedion’s idolization hadn’t been misplaced.
Rowan breathed heavily, sweat dripping down every inch of his torso. His abdominals flexed with every exhale, showing off every hard line and sharp curve. The tattoo that swirled down his left side glistened under the bright lights of the arena. He looked like a god, and Aelin discovered that she found it quite difficult to keep her mind from falling off into the gutter when he looked like that.
When he made the final blow, a hit to Cairn’s face that had him unconscious before he even hit the floor, Aelin was surprised by how wholly turned on she was. He dominated the fight and looked damn good while doing it. Rowan was announced as the winner, fierce triumph written all over his face as the crowd completely lost their minds. Pride swelled in her stomach, and she couldn’t help her wide smile as she cheered along with the thousands of people in the arena. Even though it was televised, it felt special when he made eye contact with her and grinned before exiting the ring and heading her way.
Of course, he was intercepted about a dozen different times by dozens of different people offering their congratulations. When he finally got to her, he dipped down and hugged her tightly to his chest, pulling her feet off the ground. She could feel the heat of his body through the thin layers of her clothing, scorching her skin. The smell of him, a musky scent of sweat and the pine body wash she had come to associate with him assaulted her nose and she breathed him in deep. She felt the want ratcheting up in the most delicious way and knew that she would no longer be content with a night of only being pressed against her apartment door. Their kisses, no matter how desperate they had been, wouldn’t be enough to sate the need she felt for him. She needed all of him, and she needed him as raw and unrestrained as he had been during that fight. He pressed a kiss to her cheek as her feet met the floor, and he stepped back.
“Sorry, I’m sweaty.”
“You were amazing.” Amazing didn’t quite cover it, but it was the only word she could think of that came anywhere close.
“Does that mean you’ll come out with me tonight? To celebrate?” She wanted to say yes immediately. But with him in front of her, covered in sweat and looking like the only thing she wanted her mouth to touch for the foreseeable future, Aelin shook her head as her bottom lip tucked between her teeth. The disappointment began to cloud his handsome face, but she shook her head faster as though it would dispel his negative thoughts.
“I was kind of hoping I could steal you away. Celebrate with you alone.” Her voice was low and sultry, and she almost laughed because she could see him calculating just what that meant. The two of them. A celebration. Entirely alone, with no one else around.
“I— yeah. Yes. We can— yes. I have to wrap up here and then we can go to my place?” At all of his stuttering, she couldn’t help the bright laughter that bubbled out of her as the usually confident man in front of her stumbled a bit. His attention was drawn away temporarily when Aedion clapped Rowan on the shoulder and began to spew his admiration and congratulations. Rowan took it with grace, thanking him for coming while trying to keep his eyes off Aelin’s face. The way she bit her lip clearly wasn’t helping because his eyes kept dropping down to her mouth.
When a member of his team told him he needed to hurry— he had a short press conference post-fight and still wanted to shower before— Rowan dropped a chaste kiss to her lips and headed back to the locker room.
Aelin waited not-so-patiently, standing on the outside of Rowan’s group of friends in the parking lot while they talked. Aedion fit right in, pointing out the highlights of the fight with renewed vigor. He still seemed to be riding the adrenaline high from watching Rowan fight , and Aelin was sure he would implement something of what they saw into her self defense training.
When Rowan finally came out, they all cheered and shoved him around their little circle in celebration. He was grinning from ear to ear as he reached for Aelin and pulled her into his side, dropping a kiss to her hair. It was impossible to stop the tug she felt in her stomach, something between excitement and nerves. Everything inside seemed to be tied up in delicious knots as she leaned into him, enveloped by the scent of his body wash, the smell of pine equal parts comforting and arousing. “Where are we going tonight?” Fenrys drawled, throwing his arm around Vaughan. The quiet, dark-haired man tried to shrug out of it, but it only ended with him in a headlock.
“I will actually be stealing him away,” Aelin said before Rowan could even get a word in. Rowan’s hold on her shoulder tightened as he squeezed, and she squeezed him back where she had her arm around his waist, secretly thrilled that he was as on board with this plan as she was. His friends groaned in protest but Aelin and Rowan laughed. Lorcan looked particularly displaced about the revelation and was the first to step backward out of the circle and bid farewell. It didn’t take long for the others to follow and for Aelin to lace her fingers through Rowan’s and tug him toward his car.
While their pace could be described as leisurely, Aelin felt anything but. Now alone, she felt that want from earlier return with a vengeance. Rowan squeezed her hand, and her mind immediately wandered to those strong hands touching elsewhere, all over. A quick glance up at him left her reeling when she caught his gaze on her, and swore she saw every dirty thought that crossed his mind. It excited her, knowing that despite his cool, calm exterior wrapped around all of that cockiness, Rowan Whitethorn was just as affected as she was by what was to come.
When they arrived at his car, a sleek, black sports car that was perfectly him, Rowan opened the passenger door for her, ushering her in. Aelin turned her head towards him, and under the parking lot lights, she could see where Rowan had taken a bit of a beating.
Ducking inside the car, Aelin turned to look at Rowan, her thumb coming to brush over a bruise that was forming on his cheek. It was already a blue-purple color, indicating that it would only look worse over the next few days. Luckily he hadn’t taken too many hits, so this seemed to be the worst of his injuries. There was one other place near his temple that had drawn a little bit of blood but it was already on the mend, cleaned by the medics backstage.
“I’m okay,” he reassured her, his hand coming over to rest on her thigh. Aelin pulled hers away, startled by the softness in his voice. Her eyes searched Rowan’s for the lie that he was more hurt than he let on, but she saw nothing. She supposed it should have comforted her that Rowan knew what his limits were, but still, it seemed crazy that this man before her was the same one that had attacked Cairn in the ring and ended the fight in the first round.
“I don’t want to hurt you,” she said, her voice echoing the softness of his own.
“You just saw me get pummeled a few times and you’re worried about hurting me?” His voice dripped with disbelief, remnants of a laugh bubbling out. Aelin shrugged, cheeks stained a rosy blush.
“I don’t want to accidentally push on places that hurt.”
“I can assure you that anything you inflict upon me will be the sweetest kind of pain,” he promised, lacing his fingers with hers and bringing them to his mouth to press a kiss to her knuckles as he started the car and drove out of the dimly lit parking lot. Those knots in her stomach unspooled themselves into liquid heat as her bottom lip slipped between her teeth. “Don’t do that.”
His voice was rough with want, and it scraped over her, leaving small goosebumps on her skin. She shivered in anticipation, and ached to hear more in that deep, rumbling timbre. Reaching out a hand, she coyly ran her fingers slowly, softly up the taut skin of his arm. “Do what?”
“Bite your lip like that when I can’t kiss you.”
“If you drove faster, you would be able to kiss me,” Aelin teased, leaning over the center console to press a lingering kiss to his shoulder. Rowan’s knuckles turned white where he gripped the steering wheel, glancing over at her as the car rolled to a stop at a red light. Soaking up the opportunity they’d graciously been given by the gods, he deftly captured her chin and crushed his lips against hers, kissing her in a way that stoked the smoldering want inside her into an inferno. She felt the sinful slide of his tongue brushing against hers, of his teeth tugging over her bottom lip like he wanted to take a bite out of her. Aelin hoped that he would.
When he pulled away, Aelin’s eyes stayed closed, her lips stayed parted. A shaky breath tumbled from them, filling the tense silence in the car. It took everything in her to sit back in her seat and let him drive. If she were to do what she truly wanted to do, she would have him pull over and climb with him into the backseat, his apartment and privacy be damned.
Aelin wasn’t so sure that Rowan would stop her if she tried to coax him into it. How they had managed to go this long without tearing each other’s clothes off was a mystery to her. As she looked over at him, her eyes lingered on those strong hands gripping the steering wheel, hands that she wanted gripping her in the same way. She desperately wanted to have his fingerprints bruised into her thighs, to see the imprints of his teeth all over her chest. The idea of his back being covered with the marks of her nails only fed that growing fire within her.
The drive seemed to take an eternity, consisting of stolen kisses at stop signs and longing looks. It was hard to keep her hands to herself, and that seemed to be the case for Rowan, too. By the time they reached his apartment, his hand had drifted so high up her thigh that it was burning a hole straight through her jeans.
Rowan held her hand loosely while they walked inside the building and to the elevator. As soon as the metal doors slid shut, however, he was tugging her toward him and pressing her back against the wall. His hands slid from her hands to her waist, dropping down to her thighs to lift her up on the railing. Aelin couldn’t help the moan that she breathed into his mouth, her fingers twining into his hair while he tugged at her lip.
When the elevator dinged on his floor, Rowan was dragging hot kisses down her throat. It seemed to be too much for him because he had to take a moment before he pulled away. Rowan’s mouth stayed against her neck while he caught his breath causing goosebumps to rise all over her skin. The doors were beginning to close again when he finally pulled away and shoved his hand out to stop them.
Aelin laughed then, sliding down from the railing and tugging him down the hall toward his apartment. At the door Rowan fumbled with his keys, pressing kisses to the side of her neck as the lock tumbled and gained them entrance.
Any restraint he had left seemed to dissipate as soon as the door was shut and locked. Once again her feet left the floor as he carried her to his room and laid her down on his bed. Their kisses were hungry, starving as he lifted her shirt and tossed it onto the floor. His hands made quick work of the rest of her clothing, and before long they were just skin on skin, his mouth drifting lower and lower down her body.
All of it was pure ecstasy, almost too much for her to handle. It didn’t take long before she fractured beneath his mouth, her nails digging into his back, scratching desperately over his skin as he moved back up her torso to press his lips against hers.
When he pulled back to look at her, something had shifted. Gone were the frantic kisses, replaced by deeper ones that stole her breath from her lungs. An impossible feeling was tugging at her heart as their bodies moved together beneath the sheets. This time when she fell over the edge, Rowan went with her. Their bodies were so tangled it was hard for her to think clearly enough about where he started and she ended. Their gasping moans were a harmony she wouldn’t soon forget as he collapsed on top of her.
Aelin’s heel pushed down the strong muscles of his thigh, his calves, silently begging him not to move. His lips ignited sparks over her collarbones as he settled atop her while her fingers ran softly up and down his sides.
Eventually Rowan rolled off of her, and she would have frowned had he not tugged her into his side a heartbeat later. Aelin draped her leg over his waist and nuzzled her face against his chest, pressing a single kiss over his heart.
The last thing she remembered was the feeling of his hands in her hair and his low humming of a forgotten melody as she drifted off into a blissful sleep.
~*~
Soft kisses were being dropped over her bare back, leaving a trail up and down her spine. Aelin hummed in approval as a grin spread across her face. Her eyes were still closed, ignoring the rays of sunshine that were likely illuminating her face, when Rowan pressed a kiss to her cheek and the corner of her mouth.
“Good morning,” she said hoarsely, her lack of voice another reminder of everything that had transpired last night. She had woken Rowan a handful of hours after their first time, rolling on top of him and placing teasing kisses over his neck and chest until his calloused hands guided her into position. That time, Aelin had been control, her hands gripping the headboard through wave after wave of pleasure. There was an ache between her legs that made her want to beg Rowan to touch her despite how exhausted she was.
“Hi, baby.”
Aelin’s smile widened as she rolled onto his back and looped her arms loosely around his neck. Rowan kissed her properly then, long and slow until she was sure they were going to go for a third round in under twelve hours.
“So beautiful,” he murmured, fingers brushing her hair back from her face. Aelin wanted to snort in response, knowing last nights makeup was likely smeared around her eyes and she reeked of sex and sweat. But there was such reverence in his tone that she couldn’t bring herself to disagree, his green eyes bright in the morning sun as they traced over every feature of her face. “I still can’t believe you’re here.”
“Why wouldn’t I be?” Her hand moved from his neck to the side of his face, thumb brushing lightly over the bruise that marred his skin.
“You saw me fight. You watched me beat the hell out of someone and you didn’t turn and run. You didn’t balk. You still wanted me.”
Aelin was positive the confusion was written all over her face from the downturn of her lips to her furrowed brow, but still she said, “Has that been a problem before?”
“Yes.” Rowan pressed a series of kisses over her face starting at her temple and ending at her jaw.
“It’s not a problem for me,” she promised, voice barely a whisper against his cheek. Rowan was quiet for a moment, turning his face to look at her. “You’re a fighter. That’s what you are. I wouldn’t want you to be anything but what you are.”
A mix of emotions fluttered across his face, whatever he felt being a catalyst for kisses to her forehead, her cheeks, nose, and finally her lips. When he pulled back, he looked hesitant and unsure. It was the first time Aelin had ever seen him like that and it felt raw. Like he was exposing a part of himself he seldom did. She was ready to ask him what was going on when he kissed her so thoroughly she’d nearly forgotten the conversation at hand.
“What if I wanted to be something else?” Rowan gazed down at her, teeth grazing over his bottom lip. Again, she swore she saw uncertainty on his face and in his tone as the question rushed out in a single breath.
“Like what?”
“Like your boyfriend.”
She couldn’t help the joyful laughter that bubbled up and out like champagne. Rowan grinned too, so widely that his dimples were deep in his cheeks. Her thumbs ran over them as she kissed him, both of their smiles making it almost difficult. It was too cute, the way he’d seemed almost nervous and bashful in his delivery. It felt like high school all over again in the most innocent way.
“You can be that, too.”

Comfort & Realization
A gift for @winterpower98 since it’s her birthday! Below is some shadowpeach hurt/comfort for her Mentorswap AU, enjoy!
Content warning for descriptions of a character having a panic attack.
Wukong wasn’t sure when it started happening. This… truce between him and Macaque.
If he had to try and pinpoint it, it would likely be the first time they stumbled upon each other in Mei’s apartment while the mechanic wasn’t there. Where they were both far too exhausted that instead of fighting, they simply just… hung out around each other. Not much talking. Just simply finding quiet comfort in each other, two people who just felt beat down by life. Two people who simply needed rest and peace.
They had silently agreed that they wouldn’t speak of their meeting after waking up snuggled close to one another. That this was a one-time thing and would never happen again.
Or at least, that was the plan.
But they kept running into each other at Mei’s apartment. And every time, they kept coming up with excuses to put the façade that them hanging around each other was only done begrudgingly. And every time, they’d end up falling asleep on Mei’s couch out of sheer exhaustion for her to inevitably find late at night after a long day at the shop. And every single time, Mei would simply smile at the sight of the two and leave them after laying a blanket over the two of them.
Well and perhaps after taking a photo… or several.
She found them adorable, so sue her.
Regardless, while Wukong would only admit it on the threat of death… he had found himself genuinely enjoying Macaque’s company during those quiet moments of truce. Moments where he didn’t have to put on the mask of still being the cocky, energetic young man everyone saw him as and instead could let it drop. Macaque didn’t ask questions or try to prod, he simply gave Wukong a look of concern and didn’t protest if he sat closer to the monkey demon than necessary.
It was… nice. A lot nicer than he wanted to admit.
But, like seemingly everything in Wukong’s life, it had to change. Quickly, suddenly, and uncomfortably.
And what’s worse is that he couldn’t blame anything aside from things he had been holding down, repressing, since the very beginning. When things came crumbling down. Things he couldn’t ignore anymore.
He just couldn’t.
It had started well enough, Wukong allowing himself a breather after defeating another demon that thought they could take the staff for themselves. But they certainly put up a good fight, even giving him a couple of close calls that could have been bad if Bajie hadn’t screamed out a warning to him at just the right moment. That certainly let his heart thundering in his chest, even after the danger was long gone.
And yet Wukong couldn’t help but smile as his friends were quick to rush him into a crushing hug filled with relief. Bajie especially, despite his claims to the contrary.
“Nice to see that you still love me Bagel.”
“Call me that again and I will suplex your skinny ass.”
Tang, Sandy, and Bai Long could only chuckle at the two as they bicker back and forth, the familiar sounds and routine bringing a surprising amount of comfort to Wukong. Things weren’t quite the same as before, of course. But it was enough to slowly start putting his racing heart at ease and he slowly had started to become comfortable.
Until he saw a flash of red hair in his peripheral vision. A shade of red that he knew anywhere.
And his eyes met with Red’s, who was staring at him in shock from across the plaza.
It felt like time had stopped.
Wukong could faintly hear his friends calling his name and yet it only sounded like muffled echoes. All that his mind could register was the jackhammer beat of his heart and how Red seemed to be weighed down by… Wukong didn’t know what. Guilt? Sadness? Self-loathing? He didn’t know.
All the young man knew right in that moment was that he needed to leave. Now.
And that he did. It was all a blur of panic and fear for him. He might have heard Bajie and Tang call out to him as he had the staff take him away, but all Wukong could hear was his skyrocketing pulse and feel the impending nausea curdled his stomach. He just wanted to get away to somewhere safe where nobody would find him. Where Red wouldn’t find him or be able to even see him.
Wukong stumbled into Mei’s apartment, breathing uneven and tears already brimming his eyes. His chest felt tight, as if still in the vice grip of the demon he fought earlier, and his legs wobbly that it was a minor miracle that he was able to make it to the couch. The young man collapsed on to the sofa and curled into a fetal position, unable to hear anything but his heartbeat.
Unable to see anything except the sight of his former father figure for the first time in months.
Not since he lied to Wukong, stole his powers, tried to kill is mentor and nearly killed him in the worst way possible during the process.
Wukong thought with how long it had been that maybe the sight of Red wouldn’t hurt anymore.
He was wrong. It had hurt even worse than before.
In the dark quiet of Mei’s apartment, Wukong was left to quietly sob and spiral back down to the memories of where everything changed. The shock of having his powers ripped from him by someone he thought he trusted. Nearly being buried alive, something that gave still gave him nightmares to remember. The stab of betrayal. It hurt, it hurt, it hurt.
He stopped completely. Breath, thoughts, and all. There was a hand on his shoulder.
Before Wukong could lash out at any possible threat, he caught sight of familiar black fur and ridged ears. It was Macaque, eyes soft with worry despite the poor attempt of a smirk to hide it.
“Hey… you okay there, monkey wannabe? Did something happen?”
That was the needle to Wukong’s metaphorical balloon of anxiety, stress, and heartbreak.
Quiet whimpers became full-on sobs and Macaque stumbled back as Wukong clung to him, desperate for comfort. Countless questions were running through the demon’s head, wondering what could have possibly left someone like Wukong in such a state. But he left them on the backburner of his mind.
Now was definitely not the time to ask questions.
Instead, he silently held Wukong, stroking his back to offer comfort.
Macaque wasn’t sure how long they were there but eventually, Wukong’s sobs died down and yet he still continued to cling to the other. He was tired and cold; Macaque was comforting and warm. His fur was surprisingly soft and smelled faintly of jasmine.
“You… feel better now?”
“…A little. Thanks Macaque.” Wukong’s voice was scratchy from all his crying, eyes red as well, yet he gave the other a weak smile of gratitude.
He froze. He called him Macaque. Wukong never called him by his actual name. It was always ‘Hot Topic reject’ or just ‘Mac’, never his full name.
Macaque liked how it sounded when Wukong said his name.
Oh. Oh no.
“Uh, no problem. Do you want me to-?” He stopped as he felt Wukong squeeze tighter around his shoulders, burying his face in the crook of the demon’s neck.
“Stay. Please.” He had never heard him sound so small.
“Okay, I’ll stay, just stop with the puppy dog eyes,” Macaque grumbled, ignoring the chuckles which rumbled through Wukong’s chest. He huffed, silently wrapping his tail around the other’s waist in hopes it would go unnoticed.
“Sorry if I got your shoulder soggy Macaque,” Wukong mumbled, exhaustion heavy in his voice as he struggled to keep his eyes open. Thankfully, that kept him from noticing the demon’s cheeks turn red as he came to realize just how much he liked the sound of his name when it came from his supposed nemesis. Enough that Macaque was starting to hope that Wukong would continue to call him by that name after all of… this.
“Don’t worry about it… Wukong.”
“Hm… I like how you say my name.” Macaque’s face was now completely red, right to the tips of his ears.
Oh no!
“Well, if you want… I could just keep calling you that instead of ‘monkey wannabe’. But only if you stop calling me a Hot Topic reject. Do we have a deal?”
Wukong yawned, allowing the demon to see the others tiny fangs and while Macaque would carry it to his grave, he found it extremely adorable.
“Deal. I like calling you… Macaque more anyway.” He let out another yawn. “I’m just gonna, rest my eyes for a bit.”
Wukong was immediately out like a light.
And as Macaque stared at the young man’s face, now much more relaxed in the throes of sleep, he knew he was completely gone. And it had only taken him now to realize it. A part of him was tempted to immediately do something about it, start courting Wukong, but he held himself back.
He had plenty of time. For now, he would just enjoy the moment. And maybe… rest his eyes for a moment too.
Macaque was also immediately out after he closed his eyes.
