I just love the way girls just start randomly talking to you in the bathroom when you go out to a club or a concert. Imagine bumping into Mina in the ladies and she’s so full of life and energy as she offers to hold the door closed to the cubicle that doesn’t lock so you can both get out of the line and into the main area faster. She’s talking to you through the door and promising to protect your drink with her life while you do your business and then switch with her.
Asking who you’ve come out with tonight and the bands that you’re excited to see, talking about how it’s completely unfair that the ladies bathrooms always have the biggest queues and that men’s toilets should be smaller just so we can have more loos. And you’re smiling and laughing along with her, following her out of the toilets and back into the main area as she pulls you over to introduce you to her friends— the guys she’s come out with tonight.
They’re all standing around joking and drinking fresh beers as one types away at his phone grumpily, grinning when they finally see her coming towards them as they complain about how long she took in the bathroom while she snatches the plastic cup of alcohol off a grinning redhead.
“It wasn’t my fault the line was so long,” She groans, “But look! I found a friend!” And it’s in that moment she introduces you to the guys who all accept you into the group almost immediately, but it’s the way the blond guy that was typing away on his phone looks up to acknowledge you and stops completely silent as his eyes meet yours for the first time.

I like to think that Sanemi apologized to Genya for the certificate thing with cut up watermelon, a whole new certificate and a note
CANON (I make the rules now).
Seriously, though. It’s undisputed that Sanemi adores Genya, even if he isn’t the best at showing it. Even Tanjiro, who doesn’t like Sanemi, says this.
Also, siblings are assholes to one another. Not saying it’s right, but it’s not uncommon. It was shitty but I think it would be out of character to assume Sanemi didn’t try a gentler approach with Genya later on, probably realizing his mistake.
In another life, they deserve a do-over.

The biggest immersion breaking thing for me in media is historical misuse of color/misuse of its meaning in a culture. Why is the peasant woman wearing PURPLE?! Do have ANY idea how hard that was to make? Why are all the pirate men in BLUE??? Back then that was a feminine color! Why do TV shows only use European/USA meanings for colors? Purple there has a completely different meaning than purple in Asia!

On average, what is the total MONTHLY amount that you spend on dining out*?
*(This doesn't only count going out to restaurants, but also stuff like picking up fast food to bring home, getting a coffee on the way to work, getting a premade sandwich from a grocery store deli during lunch, buying a quick snack from a convenience store or food cart whilst walking somewhere, ordering a pizza or any other food to be delivered to your home, etc.)
*(If you often dine out in groups/as a household: calculate and divide the costs so that you get a Per Person average. This is for YOU individually, NOT the total household/group costs)
(I'm sure polls similar to this have been made before (very common topic), I just haven't personally seen one that I can remember, so, I was curious to do my own! I was discussing this with a group of people today and it was very interesting to see how widely the number varied between individuals. :0c )
(Reblog for bigger sample size if you can, and feel free to explain your answer in tags if there's anything extra to add!)

okay so how good is 14 going to be as an uncle though
Rose mentions wanting a puppy once and he turns up with one the next day, big bow and all
takes her on sneaky trips in the TARDIS and upon returning they are both immediately grounded by Donna
will be attending any and all school plays no matter how bad her acting is and will clap louder than anyone in the room
oh Rose has bullies? Just wait until uncle 14 hears about this because nobody messes with his niece

I want to vape water so bad. It looks like fun and I remember sucking the mist from my mom's miniature rock fountain and laughing out clouds of distilled water and a little bit of dirt.
Tiny horses we dipped in and out of the fog, mistepped and broke their tiny legs, left them too close to the little motor which somehow sprouted blisters on their plaster hides.
Spinning sticks in the embers trying to make smoke rings before we get scolded for playing with fire.
Ok I'm an adult now can I play with fire? Can I play with water?
What are they packing into those pens that rots our lungs and blisters and scars and does such fun things we call "popcorn" like it's a snappy bright flavor of addiction?
Can I just play with it?
I don't trust anyone to make toys in an industry whose mission statement is to hurt and harm in 10 colorful new flavors!
Literally it's just clouds. You made clouds into polkadot poison and gave it to kids like bubbles and a wand.
We have to laugh and mock and boo and try to make it uncool to somehow stop the damage but fuck, it IS cool! It's dragon's breath without the biting cold of winter but you went and made it sick.
Man what the hell. Imagine if bubbles could kill you.
Why did they do that?
I'm going outside to find cool sticks. I just wish I could bring the clouds with me.

invisible scars (referenced previous talk here)
[ID: A colourless, digital Trigun comic of Vash and Wolfwood talking about Wolfwood's scars. They're both laying in bed and topless. Vash lays on top of Wolfwood, playing with the rosary around his neck. Then, Vash kisses a spot on Wolfwood's chest. Wolfwood asks, "What are you doing?" Vash smiles sadly, "You got shot here. In the last town we visited. You didn't even bother moving."
Vash props himself up over Wolfwood, who frowns slightly. Wolfwood is quiet for a moment before he says, "You remember that, huh?" Vash grabs Wolfwood's left wrist and brings it to his face. "And here." He kisses another spot there. "When you helped free the hostages from that robber..." Wolfwood dismissively says, looking away, "Was a lucky shot." Vash huffs, “Don’t brag. Jeez.”
Half of Wolfwood's expression is shown, eyes returning to Vash who is now sitting up, continuing to say, "And..." Vash goes on and kiss Wolfwood's right palm. "You got cut here, even though that girl was aiming at me." A moment from the past flashes, of Wolfwood grabbing a knife aimed at Vash, his hand bleeding.
At present, Vash moves down and puts another kiss on Wolfwood's right shoulder. "And here, from watching my back." Another memory flashes of Wolfwood and Vash back to back. Vash looks back as Wolfwood grins while holding Punisher, bleeding from multiple gunshots in his shoulder.
"And," Vash combs up Wolfwood's hair to reveal his forehead, "Here." A final memory shows Wolfwood with a regeneration vial in his mouth while getting shot on his temple. The next panel is framed in blood with Vash at the center, eyes wide and stunned in horror. The next panel is a closed up shot of Wolfwood's eye, locked on Vash's face.
Back to present, Vash’s head is bowed down as Wolfwood raises a hand to his nape and says, “Spikey.”
Wolfwood looks serious and frowns as he says, "We talked about this. Those were my decisions. They're not there anymore. Forget about them." Vash looks very sad before he smiles ruefully and says, "I still see them. All the time." He leans down so they touch foreheads. Wolfwood’s sorrowful expression can be seen as Vash says, "You protect so much. I could never forget what you've done to me. And many others..."
In the last image, they're drawn more cartoonishly. Wolfwood sweats and asks, "You don't actually remember every wound, right?" Vash points at a spot on his chest. "Kuroneko left a scratch here 7 times." Wolfwood, startled, says, "Why the hell are you keeping count—" End ID]
