so so cute... his voice pitches higher when he laughs and it’s quite like?? Light but it gets real loudy and even squeaky if you get the right spots

he enjoys it when he’s in the mood for it! he only rly trusts his S/Os with it tho, it’s more a romantic and/or platonic thing for him!

ignis and gladio get at him pretty often bc he can’t do much to defend himself (i mean, exacting revenge on ignis isn’t always the best idea. and honestly, no one can get themselves out of gladio’s iron grip)

if he’s being teased with it then yeah. but other than that he can say it/hear it without freaking out

he is so. embarrassed. about being as ticklish as he is. if it was only a little or like average he’d be fine, but since he’s super ticklish he gets rly embarrassed about it. he will lie about it if you ask him, although the blush on his cheeks gives him away p easily

depends on the spot. for example, squeezes to his hips are more effective! while gentle skittering gets him all giggly and squeaky, if you want a rly good reaction out of him, squeezes are the way to go. generally gentle scribbles work better on spots like his tummy, sides, ribs, and feet.

is there a specific spot that they enjoy being tickled, either exclusively or more than other spots? what is it?

he likes back tickles…. even though he’s so ticklish he can’t sit still. they’re nice, but his back is covered with lil sweet spots and if you even just brush over one he will die. other than that he likes it…. even if he tries to deny it through his giggles >:)c

not really? i mean there’s probably a spot on his legs that’d be uncomfortable but. that’s bc of childhood injury nd stuff.

noctis is a little brat, but it’s easy to tickle that brattiness out of him. and he knows this, and definitely uses it to his advantage. noctis doesn’t get lee moods as often as, say, prompto, but he does have them. and his way of getting tickles is by acting extra bratty. although sometimes it backfires, specifically with ignis. because ignis knows he likes it, and often won’t do anything until he asks.

does teasing affect them?

noctis is def affected by teasing, for sure. i mean, reducing the stubborn prince to childish giggling is enough to embarrass him, but teasing him on top of that? his ears will turn red. he will definitely deny the fact that he’s cute and ticklish if you tease him about it (in which you can then tickle him into admitting it haha)

ignis’ laugh is v unique. kinda deep, but can get higher-pitched, and he also definitely snorts when he laughs

only certain teases affect ignis. but when they do, they really get to him. his face gets all red up to the tips of his ears, his laughter turns to a higher pitch. it’s adorable. so when noctis discovers that ignis is weak to tickle talk as well, he’s all like (eyes emoji)

rough. tickles. baby. digging under his arms or into his ribs get the funniest cackles out of him. not to say that gentle tickles don’t affect him at all, he’s just more responsive to rougher tickles.

uhh gladio doesn’t get tickled often but. forearm tickles are nice. ignis will occasionally just drag his nails over gladio’s arms and while it’s not enough to make gladio laugh, it’s enough to tickle a little. but it feels nice so he doesn’t mind.

☆ AHRI. i mean...would cass like to meet a sexy fox spirit ?? because she could if she wants !! she’s curious && fairly cordial but she’s very deadly && mysterious && just kind of comes off with an air of uncertainty whether u should trust her or not && i think that’d be fun with cass cause we kno she loves dangerous mysterious women with a taste for biting wit. but in my tangled verse it’s similar to her canon -- she’s a fox spirit && has been alive for so long, ever searching for where her people like her are && where she came from. so perhaps cass could run into her && help ahri post series ?? or she could simply be along for the ride with mysterious && selfish reasons she won’t say but either way it’s always interesting to think about when her cloak finally drops && cass gets to find out about the fox ears && nine tails ;’) also she’d probably flirt with cass sry not sry

☆ NEEKO. iiim admittedly still working on her tangled verse cause she’s a chameleon but pls love my lesbian chameleon girl she deserves the world tbh ?? she’s extremely sweet despite her entire tribe being destroyed && killed && she FELT every single bit of it && felt her people fade away. she’s pure sunshine but she WILL fight when she has to, when there’s no other option or when people with good sho’ma are endangered. she’s looking to make a new tribe for herself now -- made up of everyone, not just oovi-kat, so she really takes in everyone who she can && who is willing. she can shapeshift by extending her sho’ma to other’s sho’ma which is a sort of spiritual essence && she can borrow their appearance, gain current emotional state && recent memories to better camouflage as them && immediately kno friend from foe so i think it’d be rly neat tbh for cass to encounter that ?? plus with neeko she wouldn’t have to open up too much or have to fight to express her emotions or voice them since neeko can feel && sense && taste emotion -- they have colours && tastes to her. she can also split herself into two, sending out a clone of herself while she becomes invisible && has a lot of floral / plant based magic as well so i think she’d rly vibe with ur cass portrayal !! but tbh she’s very chipper upbeat && kinda rapunzely personality wise -- she’s just very curious about the world && wants to learn everything since she was from a magical tribe that isolated themselves from the world, so for hundreds of years she’s literally ONLY known her tribe && their home && it’s EXTREMELY different from the world ?? she’s so used to not physically speaking && just extending sho’ma && reading emotions from each other, so she struggles with communication && that can frustrate her sometimes, but she’s knows emotions && she can see past like faking things or past all those walls she’s got up !! it’d be neat...theyd be....cute tbh... i rambled too much but i just rly love neeko sm n if u wanna kno more about her or any of these u can ask too !! also...not for nothing but neeko rly rly loves n swoons for strong badass ladies !!

☆ KINDRED. kindred is literally just...y’kno...death, the grim reaper whatever u wanna call them !! they’re as old as the concept of death && started as one man who cleaved himself in two so he’d have a friend -- they understand the deep pain of loneliness despite having each other now because they were born from loneliness. they’d sense that from her && i think there’s plenty of times she could have met them, when death was near to her or around her && theyre certainly not entirely happy about her resurrection. they’re easily translatable into any verse but they are very ethereal && magical && love to play with people. so anything considering death. near death or perhaps just running into them if cass happens near a particularly brutal bandit robbery about to take place on the road that ultimately she wont be able to stop even if they tell her about it :’)

☆ HANA. hjdksmd u kno i love these already n all we’ve talked about aa !! but also i’d literally be up for anything i love them sm already !! but like ?? soft moments ?? cass getting to come to her kingdom ?? getting to pilot the mechs n getting to just uuhhhh live her life be free n be happy ??

but also :eyes: hehe what if we also have a plotline where hana finds out about the moonstone thing n meets her while she has the moonstone n tries to talk her down :’) possibly mushy stuff they don’t wanna say could come out too mayhaps :thinking:

☆ AMITY. she’s a little witch !! in her tangled verse she’s still a witch but she && her family are more in hiding about their powers && school so they’re all hidden away but amity’s family is a very, very noble family with a lot of money && power -- which extends to magic too lol. but it’d be Neat to meet cass n like amity looking up to her ?? she’s a lot like cass tbh, pretentious mean girl type who is rly rly icy n mean n sassy on the outside but she’s soft inside she just CANNOT show weakness n she oof is rly oppressed by her family n standards set for her n she ALSO has a crush on a sunshine girl who happens to be human. n she reads to younger kids n helps them out she’s softe secretly...just has a lot of pressure on her -- her parents wont let her hang around witches with lesser talent either. they’d get along i think after like tension but she’s just a lil teen witch n needs a good strong role model but she could also help cass out with the whole magic thing ykno ??

☆ PERFUMA. ooooh they’d be cute !! perfuma is just...so sweet n positive n !! i’d love to interact with her in any of ur she.ra verses or i could absolutely try to fit her into a tangled verse but i’d absolutely want to keep her plant powers but that’d be neat with ur cass n her powers too !!

oh !! or aaalso, concept: we could have perfuma interacting with chrys !! n like when her n cass start working with the princess alliance n her helping them out n giving them insider info even if shes nervous n its dangerous n just perfuma helping her with that n giving her pep talks about her being brave ?? helping her with fashion stuff, helping her adjust to life where her sister can’t help as much ?? that’d be so cute bhadjksbh

☆ AKALI. hehehee akali n cass would be hilarious at first i swear it -- they’re both headstrong, stubborn && sassy tbh. she’s from an order of acolytes that try to keep the balance of the spiritual / magical realm && the outside realms; she was raised in it && her mother && father were higher ups && very powerful in the order -- her father died in an attack led by her master’s friend on the order && they had to flee && try to remake with smaller ranks when she was very young. she succeeded her mother as the fist of the shadow but could not vibe with the way her master wasn’t taking action like she wanted to -- she wanted to restore balance in her way && she wanted to spill blood to do it because that’d be the only way to do it, so as an adult she just peaced off to do it her own way. && tbh that could fit in with a tangled verse -- just in the shadows, keeping the balance of magic unseen to most. she’s a trained assassin && she can literally throw three kunai && pierce three different hearts while in the midst of a smoke bomb like she’s insanely good -- she is also tiny n has some amazing muscles on her arms back && has very visible abs n she sexy n she kills me daily !! but they could get along ?? she does some magic but she was never the best at it tbh but depending on where in the timeline they meet it could be interesting ?? like s1 would be neat for her to meet someone like akali ?? another strong woman fighter but she also comes from a place that praised women’s strength instead of putting it down -- buuuuut she was hiiiighly ignored by her own mother in favour of another neophyte growing up so....ykno...Mood right ?? it stings a lot -- she saved everyone from a corrupted tree spirit n had the girl she looked up to spit in her face because she lost her leg n blamed it on akali && then her mother praised the girl instead of akali despite the other kids telling her what akali had done n singlehandedly dragged them to safety n she was like around nine or ten or so at the time... but it’d be cool if they met s1 n got to kno each other n maaaybe akali joins them on their journey since it has a lot to do with restoring the magical balance of the world n they could use a master assassin but also...the angst with cass taking the moonstone n the conflict akali would face about having to oust her cause ykno...shes fucking up the balance n thats her ykno....entire purpose riiiip

☆ WIDOWMAKER. IDK BUT OOF i love widow. i haven’t thought about a tangled verse or a fantasy verse but like uuhhh something about being a french noblewoman married to a freedomfighter but ending up being brainwashed by some magical sect or talon but they’re part of zhan tiris crew or whatever ?? might be neat. she killed her husband && she’s just a little bit possessed now && a ruthless killer. so maaaaaybe....her trying to stop them on their journey to the dark kingdom ?? but her brainwashing starts wearing off the more she’s away from the source tbh -- but also, she’d be on cass’ side when she has the moonstone n honestly that’s very powerful, she’d have a very powerful ally to keep her on track && help like tell her she’s doing great because in the end she’s on zhan tiris side && she can probably see her the whole time && would be working to help get her back to power. also up in the air whether she ends up regaining herself later on && helping cass escape or whatever but she’d feel intensely guilty yikes but anyway i think it’d be honestly rly rly interesting n i’d love to do something with this if u’d be up for it bhdajkmd n like i said we can talk about any of these if u want too !!

☆ BENSON. i have zero ideas for this right now because his series is just so far removed from tangled....it’s a post apocalyptic universe where there’s extremely large animals some of which can talk n want to destroy humans who all live under the surface mostly except the ones who try to survive on the surface. TBH u’d love it...i think u’d love wolf specifically too ?? i dont wanna spoil anything but yeah it might be something u might enjoy ??

but also like mlm wlw solidarity pls ?? he’s a pretty carefree but smart gay teen, he’d get along pretty well with her n play off her iciness cause he’s just like that ?? he started off just caring only for himself n his bug buddy n just thieving a lot but like got a lot of character development -- but i guess he could be a thief in tangled verse ?? n like grow out of it or she could show him there’s better ways n stuff ?? idk...

Hey guys !! I’m EVE , twenty from the EST timezone ( pronouns are she/her ) and I have TWO kids to introduce to you guys - the first being Jackie here !! I’m a huge fan of video games hence why my first two children are from them - RE in particular is one of my favorites. I. THE PAST - DO YOU REMEMBER ??

You are born Jacqueline Cheri Kennedy , the first & only child of your father - Leon Scott , a lone survivor of the fallen Raccoon City - with no mother in the picture. Your father always wanted children , but his line of work is cruel to those who hold their loved ones dear , and originally the prospect was brushed off. But you are an accident - left on his doorstep - and the man who originally thought he’d never have children due to a fear of losing what he’s attached to . . . . he SOBS , holding your tiny body close and vowing that now , he has a new reason to live and not just survive.

So you grow. You grow fast , and as a child , you know a few truths - you like princesses & superheroes , and you are your papa’s little princess & your papa is your superhero. And you are treated the best you can - in the early years of your youth , you have to spend multiple week trips sleeping over at your Aunt Ashley’s before your father suddenly tells you ‘Daddy isn’t going to work anymore’ and he’s with you all day , every day , save except for school. You grow up with your father as your best friend and you know he loves you more than anything.

You are ten years old when you start to understand things - not ENOUGH , and not too much , but you can understand the fact that in a way , your beloved papa is sick. But it’s not the germy kind of sick - not the kind of sick that results in tummyaches or sniffles. No , it’s the kind of sick that you can tell his heart isn’t working - it’s broken , and you can tell his smile sometimes doesn’t reach his eyes and the weird stuff he drinks is to help with it - but he doesn’t want you to know he’s sick. He SMILES at you and plays with you and hugs you tightly and kisses your forehead and reads you bedtime stories and everything seems okay - but you know your superhero can’t fly as high as he used to , and you know he’s more sad than he lets on. But he does everything so he thinks you don’t catch on , and so you are happy even if he isn’t.

You are twelve years old when the big men in black jackets & bulletproof vests come knocking on your father’s door to beg him to come back to them , and he says hell no and there’s an argument you don’t listen to since FRANKLY , you’re busy pasting up posters of rock bands in your bedroom. You know your father doesn’t talk a lot about where he used to work or what he used to do - the only inkling you get is the next day , when you’re innocently helping your father find his unopened pack of plastic razors in his bedroom , and you open a drawer with a shiny badge that says ‘Raccoon City Police Department.’

You are fourteen when you first start finding your own voice - you are hardened from bullying that comes your way and you grow BLUNT & SARCASTIC and a lot of your father’s friends tell you that you’re just like him. This becomes a bit of a joke between the two of you - but it escalates further in school. They call you Jackboot since that’s a symbol of the opposite of what you stand for - you TALK BACK , you rebel , you aren’t afraid to show your poisoned tongue and it gets you in trouble. But you remain authentic - even if people don’t like you. But you’re still vulnerable - your first boyfriend breaks your heart and as you’re crying through screams & wails on your couch , your father gently hugs you close , rubbing your back and telling you you’re going to be okay. You are hardened , but you are not unbreakable.

You are fifteen when you finally realize why your father feels the way he does and why he quit his job , and why he’s so protective of you. You are innocently putting on makeup to get ready for homecoming when you hear gunshots coming from the living room. You pull out the shotgun your father keeps under his bed and when you head downstairs , your house is being broken into by MINDLESS DRONES OF THE UNDEAD and thank god you inherited your father’s accuracy , because you save one from biting your father’s cheek and then , he grabs you , and the two of you book it out of the area.

. . . Your father . . . was the only survivor of an outbreak - a bioterrorist attack - back in Raccon City. Your father was a cop for one day , and then worked as a government agent to quell parasitical outbreaks in Spain , and then the fall of Tall Oaks , and countless other machines. You learn the words Umbrella and C-Virus and T-Virus and thank GOD you are a fast learner since this is the reality of the life you’ll have to live in time. And your father holds you close and sobs and begs you to live your life the best you can , away from the shit he went through , but one evening is far too much - and you have already seen too much.

You still know the truth , though. You are still your papa’s little princess and he is your superhero - but your superhero earned his hero status at the price of his own happiness. And maybe you’re almost doomed to do the same.

You are sixteen when you’re ripped from everything. Sixteen when you lose sight and it’s all erased. And sixteen when your superhero fades from your existence and you remember nothing but normalcy - and maybe it’s for the better. Maybe it’s also for the worse.

II. THE PRESENT - WHO ARE YOU , YOURSELF ??

S’OKAY SO. I’m gonna try and highlight what Jack is like with and without memories - their personality honestly doesn’t change much aside from obvious Resident Evil stuff & their bond with their dad.

WITH MEMORIES : So to start , Jack is an extremely blunt individual - they have a tendency to be a little bitch-faced and kinda-sorta don’t show their emotions very well , but they’re also extremely honest and don’t lie at all. They DO have a sense of morals & take everything they learned from their dad to heart - especially given the fact that now they’re aware of everything he’s done and been through and that they’re gonna be going through the same thing. But they also carry around a Devil-may-care attitude , snarky & rebellious and honestly maybe a bit short-tempered. But they are smart. They are smart and they know it and thank god they know how to act quickly on their feet in bad situations - they’re just. Kind of a dick.

WITHOUT MEMORIES : So Jack wasn’t as nearly as close with their fake-life parents as they were their actual father , Leon , and that impacts them in the sense that they’re slightly more of a lone wolf than they were before losing their memories. They only remember rebelling against their parents & fighting with them whereas in real time . . . Jack & Leon never really argued. Jack never really disobeyed. But NOW they just remember always doing what the opposite of what their parents said and that sorta fuels their fire. And also , Jack isn’t haunted by what they’ve seen in terms of bioterrorism and viruses and all that , so that leaves them unaffected. They overall don’t change much , they’re just . . . them.

GENERAL FACTS ABOUT THEM AHEAD THAT REALLY DON’T CHANGE , BUT

Jack . . . is kind of. A philanderer aishufhasush like I will not lie to you they are an extreme flirt and honestly get around but will never commit due to the fact they fear strong attachments and what they mean so just. Apologies for that.

And when I say Jack is self-serving , I mean so in the sense that they only do things if the consequence benefits them or something they care for or someone they care about - like Jack will help their loved ones because they love their loved ones , but otherwise , they really just . . . want to only get involved if it physically , mentally , financially , socially , what have you benefits them.

They’re a DICK but they’re not like... an awful , awful person. They’re just sorta someone who mainly thinks of themselves and looks out for number one and those who PERTAIN to number one. It’s sorta better to show their character rather than like . . . tell , because they’re not the most nicey-nice OC but they’re like they’re dad - kind of grouchy & snarky sometimes but still with good intentions and not at all a bad person. Leon’s such a good character and Jack is both EXTREMELY like him and also. Not.

Also rly quick Jack’s pronouns are again they/them and they take both masculine and feminine titles if there isn’t a gender-neutral option available. Jack said fuck gender.

you hear some commotion from yoongi’s end and you check the time on the clock

once jimin leaves a second later your parents enter the room and your mom coos at how gorgeous her daughter looks on this wonderful day

“look at you!” she gasps and wraps you up in a hug and you laugh lightly

“never thought i’d see the day where you actually put in effort with how you look” your dad jokes and your mom smacks his arm in warning “you ready, champ?”

“as ready as i’ll ever be” you grab your bouquet off the chair and link arms with your mom

“of course i will.” yoongi nods and you push your bottom lip out in a pout when you see jimin’s eyes glimmering

“i wanna make a toast too!!!!” jungkook stands up and nearly knocks his chair over

he clinks the side of his flute and it immediately shatters into a trillion pieces

“whoops” he blinks down at the shards of glass and then sets his flute down and picks up the microphone

“i’d just like to let everyone know that y/n herself said that if yoongi wasn’t in the picture she would’ve definitely ended up with me. yoongi - i can still steal your girl, so don’t piss me off”

“excuse me?” yoongi’s glare immediately makes the smile drop from jungkook’s face

in that moment he knew he fucked up

you break away from all the socialising to get yourself a drink

and the next thing you know you’re hearing jungkook over the loudspeakers and you’re like oh nO what is this punk what up to

obviously you like the part where you dance with yoongi but not the part where everyone like staRes at you dancing with yoongi

yoongi knows how much you hate crowds buT also he wants to show you off as his wife so u better get ur ass over here or he’ll literally drag you over

you end up getting nudged back to the dance floor by everyone and you whine quietly when yoongi takes your hand and pulls you in

“this is so embarrassing” you groan and yoongi laughs before wrapping his arms around your waist

“only you would be embarrassed at your own damn wedding”

you peek over yoongi’s shoulders and see literally evERyone staring at you and your cheeks flush instantly

“hey, look at me. it’s just you and me, hm?” yoongi presses his forehead against yours and you crinkle your nose in responsethe two of you dance for a little while longer and you want to stay in the moment forever because yoongi’s whispering sweet nothings in your ear and you are just so so SO in love with him

he has his arms wrapped tightly around your waist and your arms are dangling loosely around your waist

occasionally he’ll swoop down to give you a small kiss but he keeps it PG because you do have an audience after all and he’s not about to make out with you in front of ur parents lol

finaLLy the slow song switches back to a pop song and everyone floods the dance floor once again and you’re like phEw but also kinda bummed out at the same time because you wanted to slow dance with ur mans for a little while longer you felt like you were at prom lol

cutting the cake had to be the most fun part because you got to smash it into yoongi’s face

“y/n, i swear to god, this suit was sO expensive if you get onE dollop of cream-“ yoongi doesn’t get a chance to finish his sentence because you’re suddenly pushing the slice of cake right into his face and everyone bursts into laughter at the sight

yoongi staggers back and is like :0000000!!!!!!!!!! and he wipes the chunks of cake off his face and off his precious suit before glaring at you and you’re like uh-oh

and then you realise he’s not actually mad because he’s lunging for you grabbing your face and pulling you in for a FAT kiss

you squeal because cake is getting all over your face but you kiss yoongi back anyway and giggle against his lips

and of course yoongi gets his revenge because he digs his gruBBy hand into the cake and you’re like N O W A IT

anyways you end up getting cake all over your chest and yoongi gets it all over his suit but you both clean up to the best of your abilities

the party finALLY gets started and all you have to say is that your friends and family get wild sOoo quickly

everyone here has obviously taken advantage of the endless cocktails

people are jamming out on the dance floor

some people are enjoying drinks by the bar

jimin dragged yoongi off somewhere so you’ve kind of just been hopping from table to table thanking people for coming

“joon you look so handsome tonight!!!! thank u for coming!!” you bend down and wrap an arm around him to give him a hug from behind before pinching his cheek and sitting down in the empty seat next to him

“of course i had to come to my favourite coffee-thief’s wedding” he teases and takes a sip of his champagne “also this champagne is like reALLy good”

“right??? it’s the really bougie stuff i almost picked the one with real gold flakes in it but i resisted because i don’t want to completely destroy yoongi’s wallet”

the two of you end up chatting for a little while longer before suddenly jimin appears out of nowhere and drags you out of your chair

“wOah where are you taking me???” before you know it you’re being plopped down on a chair in the middle of the rOOm and there’s a crowd around you

and when you turn to face the front you see your husband walking over to you

you immEdiately feel warmth ziP down to your nether regions

he’s taken off his suit jacket and his tie and he’s unbuttoned a couple buttons on his shirt anD he has his sleeves rolled up and holy shit did it suddenly just get warm in here or what

you can tell he’s a little tipsy because he has a lazy smirk on his face and his eyes are kind of cloudy

“hi baby” yoongi cups your jaw before bending down and pressing his lips against yours

he tastes faintly of beer and mint

“how much did jimin give you to drink?” you giggle and push at his chest gently then watch as he drops to his knees in front of you

and the way he looks up at you with dark eyes makes your insides melt

it takes a second for you to realise what’s actually happening

the thigh garter

the crowd goes wild when yoongi’s head suddenly disappears under your dress and you feel his hands grip at your knees before pushing them apart so he can wiggle himself in between them

“yOongi!” you gasp quietly when you feel him nip at your inner thigh

he’s definitely noT supposed to go this far up

your face is on fire at this point but yoongi’s having the time of his life and everyone else seems to be into it

you feel him press a trail of warm kisses from the inside of your knee all the way to your inner thigh

and then he’s taking your garter in between his teeth and slowly pulling it down your leg

a bunch of cheers and whoops echo around the room when yoongi crawls out from under your dress with the lacy garter in his mouth

he smirks up at you and your cheeks heat up and you quickly shuT your legs

he ruffles his hair quickly to fix it before getting up off his knees and immediately tossing the garter into the eager crowd of mEN

you’re not surprised that jimin is the one who catches it (he shoved like three other guys out of the way) and you’re like alREADY planning his bachelor party for him in your head

yoongi’s like the last person you think of when you think of ’dance floor’ so when he suddenly drags you towards it while you’re in the middle of getting another glass of champagne you’re like genuinely shook

jungkook and jimin and all ya friends are all bopping on the dance floor and you feel yoongi grab your wrist before he’s twirling you around in a circle

you stumble into his chest and giggle before wrapping your arms around his neck loosely

“what has gotten into you!!!!” you’re not complaining at all you’re a huGE fan of this loosey-goosey yoongi

“i’m just really happy that’s all” he murmurs and leans down a little to give you a kiss

“yeah? you’re just really happy?” you giggle when yoongi abandons your lips and instead decides to begin planting kisses down your neck before biting down playfully on your shoulder

the first few months were okay because your friends were still on that.,, getting to know him stage,, so they were quite shy

used to do pageants as a kid. adults adored her

they still do tbh!! she’s quite petite and very peppy. the word darling has been used to describe her quite frequently

this upbringing, rich in money and in support, gave her an indefatigable optimism and an inability to take ‘no’ for an answer. she lives in a world where everything can be solved and everything has a place

genuinely believes in the good of humanity

her parents almost didn’t want to send her to hogwarts at first but mary adored the idea and was super excited and well ?? they could never say no to their little girl

sorted into gryffindor and instantly made several friends bc of her chatty & cheery nature

as u have probably realized she’s super social --- definitely an extrovert, needs everyone she meets to like her whoops

of course that isn’t to say she was friends with everyone --- mary can tend to be a bit overpowering and abrasive because shes just So Used to getting her way, so there were quite a few people who didnt like her cause of that

and then more people who didn’t like her cause of her blood status

but she didn’t let that stop her!! probably cause she was super oblivious and didn’t notice the people who didn’t like her but w/e. joined a shit ton of clubs and chatted with all the profs and basically made her presence known from day 1

of course, there were some people who didn’t like that a muggleborn gryffindor was claiming hogwarts as her own. in fifth year she was attacked by mulciber --- i’ll leave the details vague bc i’d like to discuss that with a mulciber if we get one

but basically it really affected her ? but something she picked up from the pageants when she was little is to always keep a smile on, and she’s kept that to this day and there’s only a few people who know how badly the attack actually shook her

she started getting paranoid that there was someone lurking behind every corner. she already usually surrounded herself with people but she did so even more now, terrified of being alone --- not just because then she was vulnerable but because then she would be alone with her own thoughts

and she started getting self-conscious abt her interests and stuff --- things that were normally seen as frivolous or stupid. usually she’s able to push those doubts down but sometimes she just kinda wonders if she really does belong at hogwarts

but mostly she just carries this unidentifiable sadness and doubt now because there’s this conflict within her because she still believes that everyone is inherently a good person and all that but she’s experienced firsthand the awful things that can happen in this world & she struggles to reconcile those two things

really superstitious. it kinda started as a habit before pageants --- make a wish on an eyelash that the judges will like you, knock on wood before the talent portion --- but now it’s kind of like a safety blanket even though she knows logically it doesn’t do anything. you’ll frequently catch her throwing salt over her shoulder or stepping over cracks in the concrete

loves planning things --- plans surprise parties and study groups and keeps it all down in a little pink leather planner with colour coded notes

she likes everything to be neat and in order. likes to give off the impression that she lives in a “””perfect””” world because she just honestly wants to believe that

lil idealistic stubborn charming organized ambitious materialistic controlling cheerful dynamic conflicted gal

its late and im too tired to do a whole bunch of connections but i would specifically rly like a boyfriend connection for her where they’ve probably been dating like a year or so or like a solid amount of time but maybe she isn’t super invested in the relationship? maybe they both aren’t? but anyways she kind of just stays bc it’s easier and it’s safe and y e a h even if she doesnt consciously realize it

1. What do you identify as and what are your pronouns?

I identify as transmasculine and gay, and I use he/him pronouns.

3.Have you experienced being misgendered? What happened and how did you overcome it?

I am literally misgendered 80% of the time, even when trying TOO HARD to pass. I’ve noticed that it’s usually people that weren’t born and raised in Canada/this area that actually correct gender me I guess because it’s not as common in other countries?? Idk but anyway I kinda just go : ) and try not to die and then think about it for the rest of the day and maybe cry

5. Describe what it was like coming out, what did you feel?

I came out more than once and it was a mess. prepare for this, it’s gonna be long.

The first time I came out was on Twitter to my online friends and it was kind of just like “here’s what’s going on, please respect my choice,” and my friends were either like “awesome, i’m proud of you!” or “i saw this coming!”, it was generally good.

I came out to two teachers who ran QSA, one who had been a teacher of mine twice prior and whom I loved, and the other was one of the guidance counselors who I also grew to love. It was during one of our QSA meetings. I was terrified, red in the face, probably about to have an anxiety attack, and when I finally said it, they were like “oh! okay! what do you want us to call you?” and that was it. then they went “do you feel better now that you told us?” and yes, it felt great, and they were really good about referring to me as Zak and he/him pronouns for the rest of the year (this was in grade 12). I came out to a third teacher, who was another one of my favourite teachers and the head of the newspaper and it basically went “heymissineedtogetpermissiontowriteunderthenamezakbecausei’mtransisthatok” and she just went “sure”.

I came out to my mom while out with on a walk late at night with her. I’d just gotten home from school for Christmas break, and it was just overall shitty because everyone refers to me as Zak and he/him at school, but not at home. She was bitching about how she was getting plastic surgery to fix a scar that never healed right and how i “didn’t understand how it felt to want to change something so badly” and I was like “heh yeah ok” and she kept pushing me to tell her what it was. she was like “IF YOU WANT YOUR BOOBS TO BE SMALLER YOU CAN DO THAT, I DID THAT WHEN I WAS A LITTLE OLDER THAN YOU” and I was like “yes smaller as in non existent” and she made the face equivalent to that white woman trying to solve that math problem meme and she basically told me i was too young and stupid to know i was trans and that i was being a baby and it absolutely could not happen. i was already dating josh at this point, i went home and cried with him about it :)

she eventually accepted it, and the following national coming out day, i announced it on facebook because at that point i was like “NO MORE SECRETS I’M TIRED OF Y’ALL TELLING ME I LOOK LIKE A BOY LIKE IT’S A BAD THING FFS” and it felt good even though all my family and friends were like “omg i’m so proud of you (deadname)!” like rly bitch

6. If you’re out, how did your parents/guardians/friends react?

I’ll also add that most of my family and close friends were like “yeah, i guessed as much,” while my mom said “i thought you were just a butch lesbian” and my dad supposedly knew all along but i don’t believe him because he still hardly speaks english ffs

One of my “”friends”” when i came out in high school though, was like “yeah i’ve known you for so long i can’t just call you zak sorry” and yeah that’s the story of how i no longer interact with someone i used to call my best friend and she still has my walking dead game @ megan give it back

8. Describe the style of clothing that you most often wear.

Overly masculine clothing usually. Like. You know That Clothing™. And also just generally very dark and emo still.

10. What does makeup mean to you? Do you wear any?

I don’t wear makeup, because, at the moment, it would just make me dysphoric. I think anyone can wear makeup if they want to, like, it’s your choice entirely and it can be a great way to express yourself and your artistic abilities, but. I’m trying so hard to not be feminine and since it’s so widely considered “”feminine”” I will avoid it until I look masculine enough to still pass while wearing makeup tbh

I realized a while ago that I have a lot of nicknames for my biases / wreckers, and depending on situations I call them different things so I thought I’d list them all for fun. Read if you wanna or not, I just thought this would be funny to maybe later compare with people who bias the same idols.

BTS:

Hoseok (bias):

Hope / Hobi / Hoseok - To be honest, I can call Hobi three different things in the same sentence without blinking an eye. These three are the most I use. It also depends though on who I am talking too. If I’m talking to someone who knows his name, but isn’t into BTS / kpop, I’ll generally say jhope / hope and just use that so they know. If it someone who knows bts well though and is into kpop, i’ll use all three sporadically.

Jay - I dare you to find a hope stan who doesn’t use this nickname tbh. Generally when he’s being rude and kind of giving off that american vibe? used a lot / is the only name i use while he’s in the states but once he goes back to korea / somewhere else it’s back to hope / hobi.

Sunshine / The Sun - This is pretty self explanatory too. Can only really be used around my kpop friends who know bts well.

Jeong Hoseok - Used when he’s in trouble or is being disrespectful like in those bapsae fancams we were all blessed with. I see you, Hoseok.

Taehyung (wrecker):

Tae - To be honest, this is really the only nickname I have for Tae and it’s the nickname most army use. Sorry about that.

Kim Taehyung - Used when he’s being RUDE which is a LOT of the time to me tbh. He really wrecks me to the point where it’s unbearable sometimes.

EXO:

Minseok (bias):

Minnie - Generally only used if he’s doing something cute, or if I have time to say the whole word before whatever im watching switches to a different member.

Xiu - My most common nickname for him mostly because it’s quick to say and quick to type.

Kim Minseok - Only used when he’s in trouble (by either being really disrespectful or otherwise)

Chanyeol (bias):

Yeol - The easiest / fastest to say / type and so I generally use that when I’m talking about him. Sometimes used in verbal conversation.

Chan - Also very quick and easy to say / type but used less than Yeol.

Puppy - Generally used when he’s being cute or doing aegyo / acting like a big dumb Labrador or something.

Long Legs McGee - I honestly have no idea how this nickname started, but I think it came from just watching so many Chanyeol fancams and noticing how fucking long his legs are (plus I’m really short so I feel like it’s slight jealousy). Whenever I use this it’s generally accompanied by my friend saying, “You’re so mean to him” but like ... it’s true. Have you seen the man?

Park Chanyeol - Once again, only used when he’s in trouble or being disrespectful. Generally when he’s flexing / poking his tongue out / or being unnecessarily / unexpectedly sexy.

Kyungsoo (bias):

Soo - My most used nickname for him because it’s fast / quick to say / type. Used really no matter what he is doing, whether it’s him being cute or I’m just talking about him. He generally also gets this name when he’s being rude / disrespectful.

Do Kyungsoo - not used a lot at all, only when I’m feeling particularly attacked by something he’s doing. Fun fact, the most I’ve ever used his full name was while watching 100 Day Prince.

Baekyun (wrecker):

Baek / Byun - Most used because they’re quick / easy to type / say. Baek is used marginally more though.

Bunny - Used very rarely and only used when he’s being cute.

Byun Baekhyun - This is used when he’s being rude / disrespectful / sassy / joking around. Tbh I use this a lot because his existence pains me.

NCT127:

Mark (bias):

Mark - I generally just use his name when talking about him. I only have one other friend who is into nct so it’s not like he’d get mixed up with anyone.

Baby / Sweetie / Sweetheart - Because Mark is younger than me I often use these as long as (if I’m with someone) they already know who I’m talking about. I use this a lot when im by myself and cooing over him. However, as he’s getting older, they’re really only being used when he’s being baby.

Sun / The Sunshine - Because he makes me happy.

Lee Minhyung - Used when he’s being rude / acting above his age. He tests me.

Johnny (wrecker):

Johhny - Yeah, Johnny doesn’t really have any nicknames either. I think it’s because it’s already an american / english name that’s short enough that I don’t have to change anything. Plus I can’t call him john because that’s how i identify another idol from another group (who I don’t bias or stan actually).

Twin Tower - Used when he’s being a tall fuck.

Youngho - Once again used when he’s being rude, but only when he’s being REALLY rude. If it’s when he’s just teasing doyoung, it’s Johnny.

NCT U:

Lucas (bias):

Yukhei / Lucas - Used mostly when I’m talking about him to friends.

Lu / Xuxi - Also used when I’m talking about him, but oddly less than Yukhei / Lucas despite the fact that I love calling him xuxi a lot more than any of his other names.

Puppy - I use this when he’s being big and dumb just like a puppy, or when he’s being cute / using puppy dog eyes.

Twin Tower - Seeing as he’s pt.2 of the twin towers. Used when he’s being a tall fuck.

Wong Yukhei / Xuxi (!) - I use this when he’s being rude / disrespectful / or he’s doing something that causes so much second hand embarrassment I literally cannot handle it.

Winwin (wrecker):

Win - Generally used because say ‘winwin’ takes way too long and i could just say it once and be understood.

Sweetheart - I really adore Winwin, so I honestly just call him sweetheart whenever it’s just me watching something. Or, I’ll use it when I’m around friends but only if they know who I’m talking about.

Sicheng (!): For when he’s being rude.

Jungwoo (wrecker):

Woo - Mostly because I’m lazy, but also because I think it’s a really fucking cute nickname too have because he often woo(s) me off my feet.

Jungwoo: For when he’s being rude.

NCT DREAM:

Renjun (bias):

Renjun - I really just call him by his name seeing as I never really got into dream as much as I did the others. But I adore him a lot, and I adore dream.

Haechan (fond):

Hae - Easier to say than Haechan sometimes. Quick and simple. He’s not even really technically a wrecker (as I said before I never really got into dream because I was uncomfortable with the age difference but I adore them all a lot) more like another member I am very fond of.

Sunshine - Pretty self explanatory. I think most people call him this anyway seeing as it’s true.

Wayv:

Ten (bias):

Ten - I don’t really call him another else than this. Apart from maybe ‘Hoe’ but that’s just a term of endearment.

Xiaojun (bias):

Xiao - Mainly just because it’s short and easy to say.

Seventeen:

Woozi (bias):

Jii - I refuse to use Woozi at all in verbal / text conversations and only rly use it when searching him because often ‘Jihoon’ doesn’t work as well. It’s cute / short (like him) and simple and easy to type / say.

Lee Jihoon - Generally used when he’s in trouble. However, it’s quite a mouthful ( ;) ) so i’ll generally just SHOUT ‘Jii !’ when he’s being rude / disrespectful too.

Vernon (bias):

Hansol - I also refuse to use Hansol’s real name at literally any point, even when I’m searching stuff but if it doesn’t work then i’ll use vernon (for like fancam and stuff).

Sol - Used rarely but generally used when i’m just trying to shorten his name. I like how it means sun though because he’s like that to me, the sun :)

Puppy - Because he really is, most of the time, just a dumb puppy. Love him though.

Chwe Hansol (!) - Used when he’s being rude, which is very often to me so if you go through my text / message conversations you’ll see his full name a lot.

S.Coups (bias):

Seungcheol - Not really a nick name, but like the other two I refuse to use his stage name at all costs unless searching for him. Long ( ;) ) so I generally only use it when I have time.

Cheol - A lot more common than using his full name, but I switch between the two a lot without really any reason.

Choi Seungcheol - A mouthful but I will honestly somehow get it out SO fast when he’s being dumb / rude. happens a lot whenever i watch one of their concerts and a rap stage comes on.

DK (wrecker):

Seokmin / Dokyeom- Once again, hate his stage name. Prefer to use his full name even though it’s longer.

Seok / Yeom - I’ll shorten his name to seok if it takes too long to say ‘Seokmin’, or yeom if it takes too long to say ‘Dokyeom’.

Minghao (fond): Minghao was my first second bias (jihoon was my first who stayed my first) but I’m forever fond of him and i adore him.

Hao - Generally just a lot easier to say than Minghao ‘cause it’s faster / easier to say / type. I’ll use it no matter the situation, whether he’s being normal / cute / rude it’s always just ‘Hao’.

Got7:

Jaebum (bias):

Jaebum - To be honest, sometimes I just prefer to use his name over nicknames. It’s not that long / hard to say and I can get it out reasonably fast.

JB / Bum - ‘JB’ used when I can’t be bothered saying his whole name. ‘Bum’ when he’s being a little shit.

Lim Jaebum - I use this when he’s in trouble / being rude / being disrespectful. tbh out of all of my biases I saw his full name a lot because he just riles me up in ways i can’t explain. one time i was watching stages of him with a friend and he did something and i went and yelled at him / about him for a good ten minutes.

Mark (wrecker):

Mark - Once again, I really just use Mark’s name when talking about him, no matter what he’s doing. sometimes it does get confusing for other though if i just start talking about him, seeing as I bias another mark.

Other:

Yugyeom

Yugs - because it’s quick and easy to say.

Kim Yugyeom - When he’s being a fucking thot (which is a lot)

MonstaX

Jooheon (bias):

Joo - Used when I just want to talk about him, nothing else. It’s quicker / easier to say / type than his full name.

Honey - I only really started using this recently because he changed his stage name to ‘Heony’. It’s quick and easy to say.

Bumble Bee - When I’m feeling overly amorous and want to use a cute name for him. I don’t know when it started, or why, but I definitely feel like it has something to do with the fact that his name sounds like ‘honey’.

Jooheon - For when he’s being rude / disrespectful. Oddly happens a lot.

Changkyun (wrecker):

Kyun - This is the only nickname I have for him and it’s just because it’s quicker / easier to say / type.

IM Changkyun - For when he’s being rude / disrespectful. this is up there with the names I say a lot because he is often being rude.

VIXX:

Ravi (bias):

Wons(h)ik - I really have a thing against using stage names. so, although it’s longer, this is what I will call him.

Bumper Bar - Started because of his ass. Only really used sometimes.

Kim Wons(h)ik - For when he’s being rude / disrespectful.

Ken (wrecker):

Jae / Whan - I’ll use either quite commonly. I really don’t like the name ‘ken’ because of reasons, so I’ll do most things to ignore it / call him otherwise.

Lee Jaewhen - For when he’s being rude / disrespectful.

Day6:

Wonpil (bias)

Pil - Purely just because it’s short / easy to say. He’s my happy pil(l).

Pretty clean. I tend to have a kind of ‘organised mess’ sometimes but generally things are neat and where they’re sposed to be

10. how would you describe your style?

I dunno! This is hard cause I think my style doesn’t necessarily match the clothes I tend to wear on a daily basis. I wear a lot of just jeans and t shirts and jackets/jumpers in block colours, or maybe my shirt will have a weird picture on it sometimes, so I guess just comfy things and things that aren’t super bright (I think this has been described as ~normcore in the past but I resent that so fuck y'all). I’d say things that look either rly classic or retro/vintage are always good. I like bold patterns and prints though sometimes. I quite like uniforms, as weird as that sounds, but things that look a bit authoritative and crisp and tailored ya know; suits, good trousers in whatever colour, high waisted pants, boots….I wear a lot of shirts with collars and I was very into shoulder pads at one stage. I like when clothes are a bit weird or a bit ugly tbh, I like to make those things work somehow if I can. But honestly I love so many different kinds of clothes and if I had enough money I’d look so fucking good I swear!!??? I’d love to change my style up as much as possible depending on my mood or the vibe I’m going for, so sometimes elegant and classy and sophisticated, sometimes all black and intimidating and strong, sometimes very feminine or a bit showy. I guess the one thing I can say for sure is that I tend to stay away from really bright colours or mixing colours too much. Idk if I’m just not confident enough to wear those or if I think they don’t suit me or what, but I don’t generally like too many bright colours like orange/yellow…

14. if you can live anywhere in the world where would it be? why?

Probably England or Germany, maybe elsewhere in Europe but yeah. I always wanted to live in England just cause I love all the history and the culture and the beautiful nature they have there. Same with Germany. I haven’t been to enough places to know for sure though, but definitely somewhere where there’s the country or woods or some kinda natural landscape close enough to my house but still close enough to a city or town centre. And where there’s good food :P

(personal / venting bc i’m having a tough day) pls ignore unless u want to read some rly dramatic cliche shit a middle schooler would churn out

The difference between me when my depression was really rough a few years ago and me today is incredible, and I just want to try to mitigate my panic attack right now by giving myself some props, so here’s a list:

Me, 2011- mid-2013

* In and out of college, barely putting in the effort to stay afloat

* off and on part time job (income was maybe $50/week)

* Had been recently kicked out so was living with grandparents until they lent me an RV to live in and then moved away

* Spiraled between being the chubbiest in my life at like 185 lbs and the tiniest in my life at 115 (I changed these numbers a lot when talking to people bc I was so self-conscious about how, at my smallest, I still hated myself a LOT LOT LOT.) I claimed I’d lost ~50 lbs over a year but it was actually more like 50 lbs in the first 4 months and more and more as time went on, basically out of my control. I used to only eat 1 small meal of less than 500 calories per day, or just nothing on the days I felt I could.

* Was neglecting my pets. Actually, I only realized this not too long ago, when looking back. It was never intentionally, but doing things like changing litter and giving out flea meds seemed beyond me in terms of energy so my poor babies were probably very uncomfortable :( I had 2 cats and they were in much too small of living conditions as well, so I know they were not as happy as they should have been, and I barely paid attention to them except at bedtime. This eats me up, tbh, so I’m glad it was only for a few months before I gave up and sent them up to my grandma’s house to live, where they have been fat and happy ever since. * Was shitty to my friends. I didn’t mean to be this either, but I just had no energy to maintain my friendships. I went almost a full year without seeing any friends in person (deliberately) because I was devoting 100% of my energy (when I wasn’t sleeping my regular 12-14 hours per day) to maintaining a really unhealthy relationship with an ex, who had his own issues as well. At the time and up til recently, I would have flip-flopped between blaming my codependency and putting him on a pedestal as having been the downfall of our relationship, or gone the opposite direction and blamed him for never actually moving on from his ex and being emotionally manipulative, but now, finally, I can see that it was truly that we both had issues, and neither of us were giving each other what we needed to move past them.

* Pulled some really fucked things on my new boyfriend. Probably these haunt me the most. Essentially, I was so afraid of being alone with myself (who I hated) that I tried to keep all possible routes open at all times, thinking that none of them would get serious (again) and that my ex and I could just maturely help each other move past each other. BOY that was a fucking shit show, and WOW do I really really really regret all of this. New relationship got way serious way too fast because our connection was just ridiculously insanely great and we were running on a new relationship high and my ex and I were still treating each other like heroin and kept hitting each other up for emotional support and just, jesus fuck, it was disgusting all around and I still hate the person I was. Won’t go further but I still have nightmares occasionally about how close I was to ruining the best thing that ever happened to me. BUT there’s a happy ending here (I hope) as we jump to Me, 2017! * Employed full-time in a job that is, while really stressful, incredible! It’s everything I wanted in a career - fun, I have a natural talent for it, great perks, flexible hours, and I get to work with really gifted people constantly. Because I came from so little and am always hyper-aware that I don’t have much of a safety net, my work ethic often outshines the people who I work with that come from middle-class+ families / big universities so even when I’m at my worst, I’m usually somehow outworking my peers. * AMBITIOUS AS FUCK. I spent so many years forgetting who I was that I had pretty successfully lost interest in everything that required more effort than watching it on netflix or tapping buttons. Now I am reclaiming all the things I used to love as a kid, like visiting historical sites, traveling, craft projects, thrift shopping, and most importantly, CREATING! As a professional writer, I’ve had the opportunity to add canon lore to some of my favorite works, and as an amateur everything-doer, I’ve suddenly discovered tons of ideas and shoved them into my Google Keep to bring to life one day! Even if I don’t pursue half of the stuff, it feels great to reach for something new and just, like, be able to whip an idea out. Like pulling fuckin’ Excalibur from stone, if Excalibur was not actually a mighty blade but instead many dumb ideas for phone apps, short stories, or animation pitches. I’m always pushing myself to be the best in my career and to reach out and connect with people too, and it feels just really cool to have people who have enough faith in my skills to endorse me for new projects or jobs. * I’M FAT but mostly OK with it (lol) Despite definitely showing hella signs, I don’t think I have an eating disorder. If that makes sense. Like, I did hate myself, and I did starve myself, but as soon as I was in a relationship where I didn’t feel like I wasn’t good enough, it just like instantly stopped. Like within DAYS. I went from 1 lunchable a day to a box of double decker tacos over the course of 1 weekend, lol. I’m not blaming my ex for my choices, but like, yeah, definitely the two were related. I’m now at a weight I want to work on for purely my own reasons, but I’m not unhealthy and I don’t intend to use super unhealthy methods to get there this time. :) * I HAVE A HOUSE! Sort of! Apartment. Tiny apartment. That I rent. BUT I’m so proud of it! My little home is in a great neighborhood in a town I love and it’s super cute and bright pink and it has a fantastic attic where I keep all of my books and asdfghj; I just love it a lot. I spend a lot of time on my weekends just making little upgrades or reorganizing my furniture and stuff just because I love coming home so much. It took a few years of crashing with shitty roommates in various hovels to get here, but I’m really really happy! *I HAVE A CAT! by this I mean, a new cat (my old cats are still alive, happy, and fat) but my new cat is a spoiled little prince who I go above and beyond for to make sure he stays happy and fulfilled. This asshole has never missed a vet check-up and I never skimp on the good flea meds (that totally work instantly btw, it’s called Cheristin and shit is dope), and he’s the first pet I’ve had where I spring for the good quality food and wet food. He also prefers his litter to be basically perfect so I actually do clean it c o n s t a n t l y and play with him every night so he’ll sleep soundly. The vet says that other than his wonky eye (genetic defect) he’s a perfect example of what a healthy (maybe sliiiiightly chubby) cat for his age / breed is. :D ALSO HE’S CUTE.

* I’M (SLIGHTLY) BETTER TO MY FRIENDS or at least not deliberately shitty. Like, it used to be I’d blow off plans just because I hated everything and everyone and myself and had no energy and just wanted to stare at my computer and cry 24/7. Now, when I can’t make plans, it’s usually because I’m putting in extra work hours or devoting some time to doing chores around the house, or other productive things. Worst case scenario, it’s because I’m exhausted and need to use the weekend to recover before the next work week. I also make time once a month to take my bestie to the spa for a day bc she deserves it and I can. I’m still introverted af and that’s not gonna change, but at least I’m keeping to myself for healthy reasons and not because I’m unable to cope with life. I also have guests around my home pretty regularly, and try to keep my place open as a hub for when we all want to get together, which is something I’d never have done before.

* I’M GETTING MARRIED! This one is my favorite thing! Gonna get real sappy here so just fucking don’t look, and also no one tell my fiance pls bc it’s super cringey and cheesy, but when I finally figured out why, even though I had this crazy mutually obsessive relationship with my ex, I had chosen to finally end it for real and move on with my current fiance, it was because I felt like he saw me as a better person than I was. Like, here I was, this shitty depressed asshole who had been making selfish and fucking terrible choices and was clearly in the midst of hating myself and self-sabotaging at every turn while faking being cool, and he was just 100% nice and kind and forgiving and impressed by me and able to see but not hate me for all my various fuckups. I wanted to actually be whoever that really capable person was that he saw me as more than anything. When I feel like I’m losing sight of why I fight so hard to keep up my new (better) life, sometimes I’ll think about the time I had that realization (I remember it super vividly for some reason too, like I was sitting in a Starbucks and tearing up into some lukewarm hot chocolate that I was drinking reallllly slowly because I couldn’t afford a 2nd hot chocolate and had nowhere else to go) and I just feel driven as fuck. Like, the cutest boy in the world thinks I can do great things? Then I CAN. I’m gonna do the FUCKING GREATEST THINGS and we are gonna have the BEST LIFE. Like obviously we spat here and there and have little ups and downs like any couple, but having that security that no matter what, we are going to love and support each other and work hard to give each other good lives is worth every ounce of effort it has ever taken to get this far. Together, we went from barely making it and picking up pieces of my wreckage to being probably one of the most reliable and healthy couples we know. I know that when I roll out of bed with nasty ass morning breath and fucked up hair that my fiance still thinks I’m cute, and I’ve peeled him off the ground a drunk, pukey mess and still thought he was basically perfect. We don’t have to work to impress each other and we don’t put conditions on love and support, and it’s pretty insanely liberating. That doesn’t mean we don’t question each other or call out each other for mistakes though - but that we can safely do so without worrying about somehow deeply damaging each other or the relationship. It’s pretty awesome. I mean this is of course all just a cherry on top of how we’re already best friends who can enjoy anything together, and also how he’s crazy talented and adorable, but i digress. The strength that my fiance gives me helps me be myself and grow in a lot of ways, and I’m lucky to have him. I know this sounds like a stupid facebook old person quote with like a minion on it and in like monotype corsiva but it’s legit i swear so in conclusion me @ me: FUCK UPS WON’T KILL YOU! KEEP GOING STRONG! IF THIS CHANGE CAN HAPPEN IN 5 YEARS, IMAGINE HOW GREAT YOUR MARRIED LIFE WILL BE IN ANOTHER 5!!

What was your best experience on drugs or alcohol? alcohol: the night i just moved out of home 2 weeks ago. my roommate invited a friend over, and we all had fun and played never have i ever and i flirted with this really cute guy and had so much fun. i hadn’t really had any experiences like that before because i was - anyway. it was nice to feel like a normal 19 year old just for a second weed: either the time i was drunk and high at our housewarming party and went to the park and felt like i was on a fucking rollercoaster, or the time i got super cooked after work and had a shower which felt amazing and then went back to my room and listened to beautiful people beautiful problems. i didn’t hallucinate per se, but i closed my eyes and could like see the lyrics “blue is the colour of the planet from the view above”. it was like i was in outer space and could see the earth and i was so relaxed and it was so magical mdma: my halloween party! there were so many people and no one knew i was high and we had a mad dance party and i met some of our neighbours and i just had so much fun talking to everyone and Living.
