Well, I watched season two of Good Omens. And I while I don’t hate it - there are parts of it that I liked - I am disappointed, and it’s taken me a bit to figure out why. I have finally come to the conclusion that it’s because of the absence of Terry Pratchett. Neil and Terry wrote something special together, and while I do like Neil’s writing on its own, when it comes to GO, it just doesn’t have the same feeling, that cheek and fire that Terry brings.

Also, as I was going along, the Maggie and Nina romance really fucking bothered me. I was so relieved that they didn’t get together at the end. But even then, they’ve got Maggie “waiting for Nina to be ready” - and just no. I did not like that.

Yes, I explained my thoughts about that (the effects of Terry's absence) a little in this ask. I think at the beginning of the season I thought Maggie and Nina's storyline was kinda cute actually, but then towards the end I just completely lost interest and checked out, and I don't even remembered what ended up happening to them, lol.
