i feel like while some people may say he will be judgemental when he first meets you, i detest that idea. in my headcanon, he is a punk and no way he’s gonna judge a fellow alternative baddie (unironically calls you that)

he doesn’t know squat about goth music because he only listens to punk, rock, and metal. but, maybe, just maybe, he’ll hand over the aux to you at some point while you’re taking a late-night drive and let you play some siouxxie and the banshees in the car.

he probably won’t really find it to be his style, “sorry sweetheart – it’s just too slow for me. gets me bored fast.” but will suck it up for you and find a way to enjoy it. but like i said, likely won’t get hooked on it.

I was supposed to do this yesterday but I had homework so here is your Owl House DSMP AU dump :] (There are 2 versions btw)

"MAIN" Owl House DSMP AU: The Crow House(still coming up with a better name):

The island/demon realm this takes place in is called Essempii because Dream SMP sounds a bit on the nose considering Dream's role in this.

Tommy - Luz:

Tommy stumbles into the Essempii when Brian(Phil's crow/palisman) snatches the jar Shroud(Tommy's pet tarantula) was being kept in while he was on a walk holding Shroud's travel jar(don't worry, Tommy has a properly sized habitat for Shroud, the jar is only when Tommy wants to take Shroud out of the house. And yes I had to research proper tarantula care.)

Also, Shroud is a completely black curly-haired tarantula because it looked the closest to a Minecraft spider and was also a common species of tarantula to keep.

Tommy got in trouble a lot in school(in the human realm) for various reasons like letting raccoons into the school because he felt bad for them living on the streets, sneaking Shroud into the school and putting him in someone's hair(usually someone he found annoying), causing small fires in the science lab, and getting into fights with pricks, y'know, the usual.

When Tommy discovered the Essempii, it was on a Friday and close to summer break. He stays there for the weekend or a single day and leaves afterward. He makes a promise to come back when he's off for the summer.

Potions was the first type of magic Tommy learned to actually use and also got interested in Beast-keeping

Tommy learned about glyphs from Tubbo when they first met which I'll probably have a separate post for since I have a scene planned for it already. Basically, Tubbo knows about glyphs from experimenting but only knows the basic ones since he has the magic to not need them except for experiments. When they first met, Tubbo was using glyphs for an experiment that involved making basically a grenade. Tubbo taught Tommy the glyphs he knows and later, Tommy was able to figure out how to combine them.

Tommy's palisman will definitely be a raccoon in this AU version :))))) (In the 2nd AU version, he has a phoenix palisman)

Greek mythology isn't known in the Essempii, but Tommy read about Greek Mythology when he got bored back in the human realm.

Phil - Eda:

ANARCHYYYYYY (He's an anarchist)

He wasn't cursed by someone close to him(mostly because idk who it would be that doesn't already have a separate role). He was cursed by Admin Dream(who takes the role of Emperor Belos) for using wild magic and was going to be put into Pandora's Vault along with being cursed, chained up like a wild animal. This is the typical punishment for people who are caught using wild magic. However, Phil was able to escape and keep the curse under control. I have the perfect video to show what Phil looks like when the curse takes over but I don't have the energy to find it.

Also, I'm highly considering if Chat should be Hooty. We're definitely silly enough for it :/

The curse didn't give him his wings. What the curse actually does is amplify hybrid genes.

Phil used to carve palismen for people in the Essempii but as the wood for palismen became more scarce, he couldn't do that anymore.

Tubbo - Gus/Willow

Tubbo mainly uses plant magic like Willow, but has Gus's general energy.

Although he mostly uses plant magic at school, he loves to use fire or explosive magic which- y'know, doesn't work out well considering plants are flammable and- yeah :/ He causes wayyyy too many fires. However, when he combines this magic, it's really useful in combat.

Tubbo likes experimenting with mixing magic and gets in trouble for it a lot but somehow finds a way to get out of trouble. After a very risky incident that nearly ended with serious consequences, he stuck to doing magic-mixing experiments in a secret lab setup in the forest(which is where he first met Tommy)

Has a bee palisman but I'm still figuring out a name

Tubbo has a garden and likes to put any weeds he pulls out into their own separate planters since he thinks they deserve to live as much as the other plants do because they're also just trying to survive(I got this idea from Tommy in Unlikely Events)

Tubbo and Tommy's shared love for animals and chaos caused them to get along well

When Tubbo isn't at school, he basically looks like a young version of QSMP! Tubbo's design

After students are able to join multiple tracks, Tubbo joins the beast-keeping and potion tracks along with staying in his current track

Ranboo - Gus/Willow

I have so much extra lore for Ranboo TvT

Even though they're in the Oracle track, they use other types of magic, mainly illusion and healing. Obviously, they are careful about when they use it and isn't as careless about it as Tubbo since they're trying to stay under the radar

They're secretly an enderian, a hybrid race that was slaughtered after Admin Dream took the throne because their enderpearls(which allowed them to teleport freely) were considered wild magic. Another big reason they were killed was because they have a natural talent for magic which Dream feared because they had the power to take him down if they worked together. Enderians were also one of the first people to discover magic so wild magic is ingrained in their culture.

To hide the fact they're an enderian, they use a concealment stone to hide their hybrid traits. Without the concealment stone, they basically look exactly like C! Ranboo but with different clothes. With the concealment stone, they look human(but with pointy ears of course) with heteochromic eyes(warm brown and muddled green), split black and white hair, and vitiligo.

Some enderians survived and had secret camps around the Essempii. The one Ranboo was born in was discovered and raided by Dream's army. Ranboo survived the attack because their parents hid them and gave him the concealment stone and a necklace that is a family heirloom. The pendant of the necklace looks like an eye of ender but smaller.

The concealment stone is kinda weak because to hide it, Ranboo broke it into smaller pieces so it could fit inside the eye of ender pendant. Ranboo uses their magic to help the illusion be more stable.

Sometimes, their magic isn't able to fully support the illusion so their mouth, hands, and eyes revert back and speckles of his black and white skin appear like freckles. To hide this, he wears a mask, sunglasses, and gloves.

They also know healing magic because they learned it back before the Enderian camp was invaded. They thought it would be useful and it comes in handy since Tubbo and Tommy always get hurt because they are chaotic and have a knack for getting in trouble.

Once they're able to take multiple tracks, they take the illusion and healing track. They want to learn how to control their illusions better to stay more concealed and they want to be able to heal Tommy and Tubbo when they get bigger, more dangerous wounds.

Okay that's it for now, I didn't realize how long this would take. I didn't even get to start talking about my 2nd Owl House DSMP AU(which is the one I like better despite it being newer and less planned). I'll continue with this AU in the next post then finally get to my 2nd AU.

I like to think that someone’s oc or just one of the tf2 characters is deathly afraid of bugs so they’re just terrified when they go into Roh’s office

He has a few terrariums with different bugs and some different flying insects pinned and hung up on his wall

He has never purposefully hurt a bug and whenever he does on accident he gets really upset

He sometimes gets domesticated silk moth eggs and hatches them, caring for them until they pass

Domestic silk moths cannot survive on their own in the wild btw

Also he has a pet tarantula that I have yet to name

One of the mercs (I haven’t decided yet but I’m thinking Pyro) gave it to him after Medic brought him back to life to help him get more comfortable

having a regular job!

i was never allowed to have a regular job in high school :( it’s something i have really wanted to experience. i grew up very privileged, which made me upset in ways. am i grateful i have money, and i don’t struggle much, but i want to be ‘normal’ in a way. i’ve always wanted to be a barista too! i think it will be really fun!

let me preface by saying this — I DO HAVE FRIENDS AND THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY LOVELY <3 but i have never had constant friends.

growing up privileged, for me at least, meant always moving schools (primarily because of the divorce) and i have been in and out of private and public schools. i’ve never had constant friends. i want to! but i cannot here, or i haven’t.

literally my main dr is shifting back to high school to live with friends and shit bc i want to experience that

Some HCs for Sammy Brody (Chase's kid) :3!!

(we're living under delusion here where everything is fine and nothing bad happened to anyone)

-currently Sammy is 9!

- Stacy is "Mam", Chase "Dad" and Henrik is "Pa"

-She uses she/her but hasn't thought about it so doesn't mind too much

-Super outdoorsy, she loves animals and the woods! (Stacy, Chase and Henrik have spent god knows how long trying to make sure she's safe while she's constantly running towards very not safe animals)

-She looks fairly similar to both Stacy and Chase, but most notably is that she got Stacy's hair and Chase's freckles

-She is probably what would be considered a "weird kid" with her lack of fear surrounding bugs and generally creepy stuff, while also leaning towards being a bit more stereotypically masculine (she does like ""girly"" things like dolls and sewing and shit- she just currently seems to present more masculine most of the time)

-She thinks of Jackie and Marvin as her uncles. Jackie is probably the throuples best babysitter (Marvin is not but he makes an exception for Sammy specifically because she drew him a nice picture and also told them that his hair is nice)

-practically begged to have her hair dyed "like mam's is" and Stacy had to painfully explain how she couldn't because of school rules- which led to a very genuine conversation about how school doesn't always have the best idea for every kid unfortunately

-they did make the promise that as soon as they left highschool their graduation gift would be to have their hair properly dyed

-Sammy absolutely adores all kinds of art and is always super excited when they find a new thing to do with art (Chase loves showing her concept art for his favourite games and Stacy loves showing her art such as nail design, tattoos fashion etc. Henrik takes her to art museums and galleries that have new art come in fairly regularly, there's one they always go too on the weekends for their kids interactive areas but Henrik always keeps an eye out for something she might like).

- like 99% of kids Sammy BEGGED for a pet. Except she really really wanted a pet tarantula. It took. A lot of convincing. But eventually they got her one (and much to everyone's surprise it's not as terrifying, especially when you have a 9 year old telling all the cool things about it)

- the tarantulas name is Jonathan btw. No one knows why but that's what Sammy insisted on.

- her favourite colour is purple and her favourite dinosaur is the Raptors (specifically the ones from the original Jurassic Park film)

- Chase (the absolute nerd he is) basically started showing her as many films he grew up with as soon as she was capable of seeing shapes basically. (This consists of everything between Jurassic Park, Alien, Indiana Jones, the original Star Wars Films, The Shining, etc) ((Chase Brody is a film nerd and I stand by that))

-Sammy also really likes animation! Her current favourite show is The Owl House and she relates to Luz a lot!!!

-She also loves Halloween! It's her favourite holiday! She isn't sure why her dad's seem upset around that time of year though, but Stacy takes her out trick or treating and she always has the best costumes!!!

The silly Pete’s gang ladies and gents. I’ve never seen much art for these guys. And I will make comic strips of the, as well with the Amanda the Adventurer comic.

These are my head cannons for them.

Pete: Pete is the mouse for those who don’t know. (The bunny is known as Dottie and the beagle is named Finn.)

Pete is my favorite of the trio of animatronics. He is typically a degrading character but usually means his comments as jokes, but his tone confuses his comrades. He is the only one who holds something from the outside world. The packet watch BTW. He usually starts fights with his siblings, and starts trouble with the janitor(Oscar Willis). In the trio, he is technically the oldest brother, since he’s the first model for silly Pete’s.

Dottie: she is the only girl in the establishment, she is the nicest one in the establishment. Except on her “time of the month”. I have no idea what went through their bosses mind when he writes this code into her, but thanks to that, she is given a week off of work, due to her violent mood swings, and uncontrollable cussing at this time. She is the only bot with medical knowledge, and in her posters is seen wearing a nurse hat. She also has a pet tarantula, that she had captured when she first arrived at the establishment, called Mr. Cobs.

Finn: is the youngest member, and the closest to Oscar, he is very playful, and gets bored very easily. When interacts with kids, his first instinct is to play games with his trusty “stick”, which is actually a plastic sword since he’s a pirate. He’s a cuddler when he takes naps. He has a malfunction that’s acts like dissociative identity disorder, his second persona is known as Fergie. He tends to mimic the environment around him, which can be calm, or violent depending on the day. The way to tell the difference is very subtle, but Finn wears his top cloth like a pirate does and wears his bandana like a scarf I guess, meanwhile Fergie folds the top cloth like a sailors hat, and adjusts his scarf to resemble Pete’s bow tie. He is also very overprotective of his siblings, and is the first their boss blames for issues. Poor, poor beagle.

Oscar: he doesn’t actually a name in the Aga comic, but I gave him a name and a better role. He has two jobs, he either works as a janitor, or an extra mascot during the fall, called pumper pumpkin. He usually stays after hours to make sure the trio of siblings don’t mark each other before the show. To the animatronics, he’s more of a parental figure than their actual “dad”(the boss). He doesn’t trust Dottie or Pete to be near him when working, as they usually cause him trouble. But Finn is different, since the most he’ll do that stalls his work is asking him to play with him, after like five minutes, Finn leaves him be. He is also afraid of spiders, another reason he stays away from Dottie.

So I do have a post for some of them, but I need to get around to making more posts for my others. Need to do some character design (my worst enemy ;-;)

(tldr; here's the character refs/fact files! and a made-up word dictionary! below is explanations for the setup/story bc i haven't made a post abt it yet :) )

My OC world is called 'Fabrication'! It's about different parts of one person (Anxiety, Dreams, Creativity, etc.) and processing traumatic events as a child through imagination, while growing and also realising it's okay to not be okay.

The OCs I've so far made refs and fact files of are 'Fragments', which are the different parts (and essentially 'left brain/right brain') of that child. The child (also called the Fragment's 'SELF') speaks to them as imaginary friends so they can work through their own emotions.

They all treat each other (and SELF) as siblings, and have fun together while also avoiding talking about the 'Incident' that broke them (i'm so original i know /s). They need to try to work through that emotional baggage, but at the same time.......... beach episode sounds more fun. Surely putting it off won't have any consequences to the SELF's mental health, or the Fragments', right?

They have free roam over the Fabrication, which is SELF's mind and imagination. Which means there's lots of fun stuff to do! And lots of trauma SELF and their Fragments are repressing from the Incident (and general phobias or childhood fears)! The imagination is the limit, in the best and worst ways possible.

Eg. the SELF can imagine seas with birds in and skies with fish in, and ice cream that can be any flavour you can want, so those can exist in the Fabrication. Hooray! Also, they can imagine massive tarantulas chasing them through corridors, and horrific sleep paralysis demons, so those can exist in the Fabrication. Less hooray.

In terms of what the Fragments represent for SELF:

Dew (he/she/they) = Anxiety, Logic.

Chichi (they/it) = Self-Preservation, Impulses.

Chaaya (she/her) = Fear.

Asuna (she/they) = Creativity, Emotions.

Cody (he/they) = Dreams, Escape.

Thunder (xe/xyr) = Curiosity.

First three are 'Left Brain', last three are 'Right Brain'.

OH BABY DO I!!! alright so my resources are Mostly for tarantulas, while i was considering getting a huntsman for a bioactive one (they can actually thrive with springtails and some isopods) it's Very Very difficult to find them for sale. as a first tarantula, or even if you do go for a huntsman, the keeping of it being bioactive is Pretty damned difficult, but i highly recommend it if you have the motivation !!! plus, the drawback of a huntsman is that they're not very handleable, which is unfortunately not my type

one thing to keep in mind is that depending on the breed of tarantula, theyre either gonna be "old world" or "new world" tarantulas, which basically means that they either have a bite thats SUPER painful, or a bite that just is like a bee sting. neither of the tarantulas ive have ever bit me, but it is something to keep in mind.

Fester skittered excitedly within his enclosure while he waited for his human to come see him. It didn’t take long.

“I already fucking told you, Valentine,” his human spat as he barged into the room, “I didn’t fucking see it. Leave me the fuck alone before I come back there and end you.” His human tossed the talking device onto his bed and muttered in that other language he used only in his darker moods. He shuffled in and out of the room a few times as he completed some of his coming-home rituals. After a few minutes, he walked over to Fester’s enclosure and reached a hand inside. Fester nearly pounced onto the offered palm. 

His human laid down on his bed and set Fester on his chest. This was a reward for their special friendship. His human would breathe quietly or vent to Fester about something that annoyed him at the place he works while he pet Fester soothingly. He spoke of many humans in vague detail, but Valentine was a regular mention on days when his mood seemed especially sour. Fester scampered around on his human’s chest for a few moments before settling into the comfortable slope near his ribs.

The quiet calm of the room was broken by the talking device buzzing nearby. His human sighed and flicked his fingers against the screen, not bothering to take his eyes off the ceiling he had been glaring at. “You must have a fucking death wish if you’re bothering me about this shit again.”

There was a moment of silence. A cough came through the speaker. “Um, I’m sorry. Ket?”

Fester didn’t recognize this voice, but his human did. He shot up into a sitting position and Fester would’ve gone tumbling into the bed covers if there wasn’t a warm hand holding him in place. His human was so thoughtful.

“What d’you fucking want?” his human snarled. 

“Uhh, I wanted to apologize. I didn’t think Cas would bother you like that. I know you had a long day.” The other human’s voice had a slight tremor and sounded uneasy. Fester knew his human caused this reaction in others. He could be very intimidating.

“Whatever,” his human said. “Lose my fucking number. Keep a better eye on your shit.”

“I know, I know. I got it from Cas, I think he was trying to help but you know how he gets. I promise it's not a big deal. Anyway, sorry again and good-“

His human tapped the screen and the unfamiliar voice cut off. Fester felt calloused fingertips brush against him carefully and he wiggled a bit in contentment.

“Let’s go for a walk, buddy.”

Fester often accompanied his human while he completed chores around their domicile. He had a preferred shelf in the main living area that gave him the best view of the kitchen and the balcony outside. He sat there now as his human rooted through cupboards in the kitchen and started fixing a drink. He had taken off his shirt earlier and Fester watched scars flex across his skin as he moved.

His human contained the wild power of a storm that kept most humans from wanting to get too close. Fester learned quickly that humans liked to engage in physical courtship but none lasted longer than that. He knew they didn’t like the storm inside his human, the one that caused his anger to flare and the silence around him to crackle. His human’s trust was buried deep. Fester wondered if his human was lonely because it had been so long since a potential mate had visited. If being without a mate bothered him, he didn’t show it. He was good at hiding his weaknesses.

In the past, Fester had watched his human carve at his own skin that healed into a labyrinth of raised scars and strange markings. Undeserving mates called his body ugly. Fester knew humans could be weak, but his human was resilient. He was a fighter, a hunter, and a capable provider. Those would-be mates of his past were unworthy. A true mate for his human would recognize his strength for what it was.

Fester noticed his human had finished his drink and tidying up, and he paused in the middle of the living area. The room was spotless now except for his work bag that had been dropped beside the couch. His human approached the bag with a hesitant step. Fester looked on in concern. The expression on his human’s face was indescribable - there was a glint in his eye he’d never seen before. He was very rarely fearful, so what could it be?

His human fiddled with some clasps on the bag before pulling out a long piece of fabric. It looked well-worn but clean, like so many of his human’s favourite coverings. Fester didn’t recognize it. His human gathered it in his hands and slowly wrapped it loosely around his neck. Fester heard his human take long sniffs like he was scenting something unfamiliar but delicious. Something like prey.

“Fucking MC,” his human muttered quietly. Fester didn’t recognize that name.

After a moment he tore the cloth off him like it had grown fangs and bitten him. He let it drop at his feet and he kicked it away with a huff. He stomped over to where Fester had been watching this unusual display and picked him up.

“Time for bed, buddy.”

Fester settled into his human’s hold, sneaking one last glance at the curious item piled on the floor before being carried out of the room.

nylon started out as my splatsona in splatoon 2, based on the bangs cut that i usually used & my favorite outfit in game, sneaky beanie, takoroka nylon vintage, mint drakoniks. still slaps, waiting for all the gear to come back to s3😭 they were kinda a blank slate for a while since i didnt know what to do w them. but since theyre a sona i get to unload whatever personal bullshit on them! when i first started playing splatoon i got obsessed quickly w salmon run (still am) but also grizzco as a whole, i LOVED the mystery and shadyness and grungy atmosphere of it all. i tried to do something w that for a really long time (bout a year) but now its just an alternate universe thing. i tried to make alternations but. clare from fleabag voice ITS UNSALVAGABLE. um so au it is.

anyw the more ive developed them the more theyve kinda become their own character. they have the usual rough childhood, gets into messy bs and toxic friend groups as a teenager, gets kicked out at 18, goes from shitty job to shitty job, theyre just a depressed mfer! they love getting high and getting some. theyd rather die than get close to people or form meaningful bonds. they simultaneously think theyre hot shit and the worst. eyebags galore. oh yeah they could commit war crimes given any good reason (not morally) but otherwise theyre lazy. they have good music taste but also have a selection of sad songs they listen to when the homies arent around. she loves judd the cat. when they were a kid they begged their parents for ages to get a pet spider (are tarantulas canon in splatoon idk). they got it btw (named blaze) their parents were Not happy. theyve drunkenly passed out in public an embarrasing amount of times. she rates her hookups in her notes app, divided into categories even. she hasnt had a healthy meal in months. she doesnt know what a mental health is. she has one of those “damn bitch you live like this” rooms full of empty cans. she can play the piano and knows minecraft songs. they have double the daddy issues. theyre eerily similar to jessie pinkman from breakind bad but /j. they act tough & pretend they dont like physical affection cus they dont wanna admit they need a hug. idk how to talk abt ocs normally online i didnt even say basic info. theyre 22, nb purple or blue ink. ive coped w this bitch too much i owe them one. half of my sketchbook is filled w doodles of them
