#She's so cute <3 #WPP #Portal #Ellen McLain #If you haven't played through the audio commentary I would Absolutely recommend it it is So fun #I clicked out of curiosity - kind of just expecting like a movie's audio commentary y'know? Like a video that highlighted specific scenes #No it's just the whole game again but with trivia pop-ups! I love that!!#It reminded me so much of like trivia track or the pop up fun facts from special editions of movies I would watch as a kid #But you can play through them!! You have to click on them and they spin! I love that!!!#I always love hearing the design and development process - fascinating how the playtesters reacted to this new game!#We take it for granted now but yeah I imagine it would've been very confusing at the time #And I was like ''Well it was such a small team and Ms. McLain was such a large part of it - surely she'll have a few bubbles?''#She does lol - as soon as I got to her first one (it was a slow burn! They buried the lead with her lol I'm already invested!) I had to go #I saved-quit the game out of sheer excitement and giddiness lol I had to sleep on it before I was ready to come back #It is so cool to hear her natural voice ah <3 And the kinds of direction she was given! Other bubbles also talk about her vocal direction :)#Very cool! I wonder what TTS they used for reference :0 #But to hear her real laugh without the audio processing over and and she still sounds like GLaDOS! I mean of course she does but just jfdksl #That's /her/ laugh! They share a laugh! im super late to the party but honestly from what ive seen twisted wonderland is a better disney love letter than wish could have ever dreamed to be

#remember to keep boycotting disney you know the drill #i did not watch this movie i was watching reviews online and ive literally never given twst money other than i bought the manga #oh and i own a kalim nendoroid but i got that second hand #anyway twst has always felt like a big love letter to og disney despite its standing 'what if all the disney villains were hot anime boys'#but it really is it incorporates a lot of elements of those movies tastefully and does a good job making the villains sympathetic #but also traditionally mean #which is what wish was trying to do with magnifico make him traditional but sympathetic and like twst has already shown u can do both #of course in a more high stakes senario cuz twst is set in school with teens but if you extrapolated that then ur golden #also all the songs that have come out of twst have been bangers just saying #i think it was also a good play to position itself as AFTER the stories #cuz it rids itself of timeline issues #twst has a lot of wonky representation (why is jack in this game at all? sebek's base is just lightning)#and some of the designs could have been improved had they not had to be ikemens (fat kalim) but what its done its great disney wise #wish is souless but twst got people excited about fucking fellow honest(honest john) in 2023 now thats power #twisted wonderland #twst

#ok ok ok i have been so excited about the nimona movie since i first read it AS A TEEN #watched the teaser and i’m kinda sad it doesn’t look more like ND’s art #*art. i’m curious about the project getting cancelled i hate disney so much #& how much that influenced the style #but also i’m like not particularly impressed with the trailer #i feel like she was such a cool and weird character & i always imagined just an absolute freak #& maybe it’ll grow on me but i’m like. ok the acting in the trailer alone was too clean & predictable #like she was such a super massive freak im sure she’s yelling screaming all the time. like tbh i imagined her speech patterns to be more #like Finn Adventure Time #like i was hoping the movie would be fun and kinda dark and very anti authority etc #but there’s like super upbeat music and it’s like no we need fucked up string instruments with haunting melodies & the voice acting has to #be muttering and shrieking and insane #and Blackheart was also a character of all time for me if they make him and Allister less gay im gonna kill someone #but like gay (repressed / angsty i suppose)#like he isn’t COOL he is ANGRY. i guess haven’t seen him yet but i’m Worrk #AMBROSIUS NOT ALLISTER #*worried #and if the scientist isn’t in it netflix hates women. also if she’s not insane they hate women #dude i’m fucking up these tags so bad

JUST GOT BACK FROM THE FNAF MOVIE

SPOILERS AND SCREAMING UNDER THE CUT

FIRST OF ALL i just wanna take a second to say the absolute JOY and UNFILTERED SEROTONIN i felt when the living tombstone's fnaf 1 song started playing during the credits is a high i will ride for the rest of my life. let ALONE the fact that almost everyone in the theater immediately started singing along. everyone in that theater i love you.

second of all i cannot fucking believe scott had the fucking AUDACITY to JUMPSCARE us with BALLOON BOY of ALL fucking wretched little bitches. not once, not twice, THREE FUCKING TIMES.

so angry. well played, scott.

i was so happy we got brief cameos from matpat AND coryxkenshin! i was so happy for cory especially. was really hoping for a dawko cameo too, but hopefully we'll get one next time!

i also wanna mention that i never would've guessed that we'd get a scene of the animatronics behaving like kids!!! it was SO cute to see them play with abby and be silly, i never knew i needed that so badly until now. i'm not joking, literally half of my theater went "awwwww..." when abby drew the heart and gave it to bonnie, and then bonnie turned to show it to the others 🥺 i wanna hug them all so badly now... they're so CUTE. they're my babies now if mike won't go back I WILL

i'm sure this makes me a terrible person, but one of the things i was hoping so desperately for was that we would get to WATCH WILLIAM DIE, and i am SO happy that they made it as brutal and painful as possible. the satisfaction i felt as the animatronics dragged a squirming, slowly dying william away to suffer and the kids getting their revenge was worth the 8 year wait. i also now understand why matthew lillard was like "can we even show this" LMAO that shit was brutal and i'm almost shocked they kept it in while keeping a pg-13 rating.

i love that they kept foxy singing to himself, and i KNEW the second that dude stepped into the closet bonnie would be there and i was ECSTATIC when he flipped on the light and i was right. predictable sure but who cares honestly, it was amazing!

i also can't believe sparky really WAS in parts and service. i'm so fucking done with you, scott. fucking sparky. at least i ASSUME that's who the dog character was, unless it was a reference to fetch, which would be way less cool.

will say i was fucking THROWN by vanessa being william's daughter. um scuse me? what about elizabeth? is she not canon to the movies? guess we'll find out lol. i was also really hoping we would've at least gotten a HINT of the puppet, but i guess the puppet being in the fnaf 1 location the whole time really wouldn't work in this scenario. seeing as she was supposed to be the only one truly aware, it definitely wouldn't have worked as well. hope we see her next time!

overall i give the movie a 9.5/10! my only complaint is i feel like there wasn't QUITE enough scary stuff. another ten or so minutes of horror would've done wonders, i think. this is a day one dvd buy for sure! can't wait to see what extra features the dvd will come with, and i hope it comes with commentary <3

finally FINALLY finished watching the legend of korra. it only took me LITERALLY ten years

#tbh lok doesn't make me feel the same way atla does but that isn't necessarily a bad thing #i wish there was more focus on martial arts and history but i understand why there wasn't #history and tradition was EXTREMELY important to aang in ways that it was NOT to korra #i also wish we had seen more silly things about korras childhood but again they were telling a different story so i understand why not #they introduced a lot of new things w this one and i think pro bending was my favorite #cause it was one of the few things that WAS focused on martial arts it was just focused on like. boxing and mma #which is REALLLY fucking cool to see #i have critiques about mako's character but watching him fight was always so much fun because he is straight up mma fighting #for that to be depicted in a show that focused heavily on traditional martial art is so cool to me idk #bolin did it too but earthbending didn't lend itself quite so visually for the same effect #i also ALSO wish the stuff with amon had lasted longer than one season #a big part of atla is that aang is working the whole show to defeat ONE enemy #it felt like there was a new big bad each season #if they went amon -> the red lotus -> the earth empire -> unalaq in terms of season progression #i feel like the stakes would've been paced better yknow??? like the fight against vatuu should've been a Big Fucking Thing #what do i know tho lol #anyway im very excited for the upcoming movie and also the next avatar series #apparently the movie was set to release in 2025 and the series after that but. we'll see

currently reading: im able to read only fanfics at the moment because anything that involves a book and new characters feels like too much work for me for some reason and also like im cheating at my classes in university. both of these suck big butt and i hate being like this but it's true. anyway please read a million times along the way by starsqwub. its a bokuaka fic, it hasnt updated since 2022 and it made me cry every chapter. its about love, its about friends, its about being a weird person in a normal world and, more importantly, its about bokuto and akaashi. oh! also manga like chainsaw man and toilet bound hanako-kun!! and some webcomics as well too.

currently watching: the wall mostly but also dungeon meshi! and ive been trying to be up-to-date with the one piece anime!!
