So I realized halfway through that you ment on the run from the Voltouri. And I was tempted to start over but I wanted to finish this version. If you still want a kid on the run from the Voltouri then feel free to send another one in just with different powers and a different character.

Seth didn’t expect to imprint on a vampire. Least of all you. You were four years old but looked eight. Seth flinched at Edward’s curious look,Alice was grinning like a madwoman, Rose’s eye was twitching, Emmett had the biggest shit eating grin in the history of shit eating grins, Bella was confused as all hell, Carlisle was trying to restore order to the gathering of wolves and vampires, Esme was sending motherly smiles to Seth and you. And Jasper was close to a mental breakdown from all the conflicting emotions coming from the group assembled.

Paul and Jared were rolling over, laughing which was a strange sight to see two giant wolves laughing and rolling on the ground. Sam, God bless the poor guy, was trying to restore order with Carlisle while trying to keep the headache away, but given the fact he’d be the one to tell the elders and consul members he wasn’t having much luck. Quill was doing victory laps as he wasn’t the only one to imprint on a kid anymore. Jacob was Glaring back at Rosalie to protect his brother and by God Jake wouldn't let anyone hurt his little brother, blood or not. Leah was plotting how to kill you and every way you could imagine. Embry was glaring and growling at Leah. Who would want to kill a child because their little brother imprinted on said child? Even if that child was a half vampire.

But, we need to back up. We need to examine just how you joined the Cullen family. It’s a sad tale. Your father was a kind vampire. He only fed on willing humans. He was almost as notable as Carlisle but your father stayed off the Volturi’s radar. He was smart, he didn’t want any unwanted attention. Your mother was the exact opposite. She was loud, outgoing and hard to ignore. She was also a woman who appreciated a good drink. This is how your parents met.

Your mother was spending yet another of her nights at her favorite bar when your father walked in. Your father was not a man to sleep around as he was from the eighteenth century but your mother had the arua about her, it also didn’t help that she was wearing a very form fitting dress that showed her curves off and she wasn’t shy about showing her legs either. Given the time your father was raised everything about the way your mother presented himself should have had him running for the hills. Key word: Should’ve. But there was this pull that kept drawing your father to this woman. Soon your father was sitting next to the woman in the revealing dress and soon they got to talking and soon they found themselves in your fathers apartment and soon, well, You don’t need to know what happened after that. Oh don’t worry! You’ll find out once you're old enough for the Birds and the bees talk.

The next morning saw your mother leave your father in his bed without so much as a ‘thank you’. Your mother found out she was pregnant with you about a month after that. She tried to have an abortion but your father showed up to stop her. It’s not that he didn’t believe that abortion was wrong but this was probally his only chance to have a child and it was the thing he wanted most in the world. Your mother agreed on the condition that afterwards she was to have nothing to do with your upbringing. She was a woman who wanted to enjoy her twenties but a child would hinder that. Nine months later saw you coming into the world and your after could not be happier. It was a dream of his to have a child. Your father wanted to be exactly that since before cars were a thing. The moment you were in your fathers arms he swore to protect you till his head was knocked off his shoulders and he was nothing but ashes. Unfortunately that fate met your father sooner than anyone would have preferred.

It was shortly before your second birthday but you already looked like you were three. Your father knew what to expect when it came to your growth and development. It saddened him that you would grow up fast but he knew there was nothing to be done. It was one Hell of a stormy night when there was a knock on the door. You were already asleep so you didn’t get to meet the group of three vampires that visited, James, Victoria and Laurent. You didn’t hear the fight between your father and the other vampires. You knew what a vampire was and you knew you were a half vampire. You didn’t hear the breaking of your father’s neck nor did you smell the burning of his body outside the house. You wouldn’t find out the truth for a year or two.

What you did know was the lady with the red hair said she and the rest of her coven would take care of you after they couldn’t save your father. You didn’t know their true intentions, you didn’t know that Victoria just wanted wanted a slave, you didn’t know that James would give his mate whatever she so disiured, and you sure as hell didn’t know that Laurent was an unwilling partner. In the two years since your kidnapping/enslavement you were beaten every witch way. You were forced to drink from humans and you hated it. It was just before James and the others went to Washington state when you discovered your magic. You weren’t there when James and the others encountered the Cullens. Your abuse got worse when Victoria came back. You had massive scars by the time Victoria sent you and Laurent to kill Bella, though you didn’t know that was the mission. You simply thought that you and Laurent were stopping by forks for a quick hunt on the way to Alaska to join Laurent's new coven.

When it became clear why you were brought along you were disappointed. But Laurent kept a firm grip on your shoulder and led you to the poor girl. You knew that Victoria wanted to get revenge for James’ death but you didn’t think she’d go after the girl who James tried to kill. Most vampires would go for the one that killed their mate. You were brought along to kill Bella from a distance should the girl put up a fight you weren’t going to do that. You weren’t going to kill a girl who was an innocent bystander. Laurent had Bella pinned down and you were about to intervene when howls reached your ears and you forze. Your father had told you stories about the shifters and you, while scared of them, you knew they would smell your human side but would be wary of you because you're a hybrid.

You watched with morbid fascination as the wolves tore Laurent to pieces. You were the one to light Laurent on fire with your magic. You heard his cries for you to help and you worried that if Laurent was given time to heal he’d come after you and you might be able to do magic but you knew you wouldn’t be able to defend yourself from a fully grown, full blooded vampire. But, in killing Laurent you brought attention to yourself from the giant wolves. You took a step back. You were terrified, you knew that your short life would end and the sad thing was, you weren't necessarily saddened by the prospect of your death. You stood still as a large, black wolf stepped closer to you. He got closer and closer till you could feel the breath from the wolf’s snout. You closed your eyes and braced for the teeth. But they never came. But, what did come was a wet wolf nose and tongue licking your cheek. You giggled at the touch and you opened your eyes slowly and you saw all the wolves looking at you with looks of love and understanding.

The wolves stayed for a few minutes until the black one nudged you over to Bella. The wolves gave her a look that said ‘we’ll look for a vampire caregiver for him but until we do please look after him’ Bella looked offended but before she could argue the pack was gone. The girl glared at you as you stared at the ground. You weren’t aware of what Bella told Charlie but the man was a lot like your father and he took care of you while Bella was with Jacob. Speaking of the alpha, he thought of you as a little brother and sometimes he’d insist Bella bring you over when the two would hang out. In fact you were with Jacob when Bella was forced off the cliff. When you all arrived back at Bella’s house.

When Alice saw you her motherly instincts kicked in. She adored you even though she couldn’t see your future. But, that was due to your magic. For some reason you went to Italy with Bella and Alice to save edward. Alice only realized half way through the flight that You could be mistaken for an immortal child and that could lead to major trouble. But, Alice figured that if it was explained that you were a hybrid then any future hybrids wouldn’t be harmed. You liked Alice’s driving. It reminded you of your father. Edward heard your thoughts and knew you were the proper child for Alice and Jasper. You stayed close to Alice. You don’t why but you felt safe with her. You were aware of the glares from the Voltouri guards. As you were brought before the kings you wanted disappear.

The one named Aro was the nicest to you. He waited to see your memories to give judgment. “Amazing, Mother magic has blessed a hybrid. This child is no threat and shall be allowed to live and shall be placed in the care of Alice and her husband.” And that was that and the four of you headed home which was when Alice got Edward to promise her a porsche. You giggled at the thought of being in the fast car again.

Jasper was surprised to meet you but he immediately took the role of your father. Carlisle and Esme took to you like a duck to water and dubbed you as their grandchild. You, of course, loved the idea of grandparents. Rosalie was just as motherly to you as Alice although Rose taught you about cars as opposed to fashion. Emmett was your second dad, especially when Jasper had to be away due to emotional overload and blood lust. Emmett was a teddy bear and never had an issue with cuddling you. He also loved teaching you about sports and you loved it when he called you ‘champ’. Edward was the one to teach you about music. He also kept Bella away from you as he knew what happened from your memories.

When you figured out Victoria was coming after both you and Bella you were more afraid than you’ve ever been in your short four year life. You were brought to the training session just because you were the other one Victoria was after. You were the only one allowed to cross the border and each of the wolves gave you an affectionate lick on your cheek. Then you locked eyes with a wolf with brown fur on top and white on his belly. You knew the pack had expanded in the months you had been with the Cullens. But, the second your eyes met you felt a pull, the pull that was the kind that mates experienced. You didn’t know it but Seth was explaining the same but with imprinting. So while the chaos was happening around the two of you Seth approached you slowly with only Edward, Bella, Carlisle and Sam notice. You looked at the wolf with apprehension. You were friends with the wolfpack but you haven't met Seth, Leah or Quill. So, as far as you knew Seth could be the one wolf who would hurt you. But as soon he was close enough Seth nuzzled his giant wolf body into your side and for some reason you petted the fur and the more you did the more you felt at ease. But, you felt the chaos and arguing around you and felt angry when you heard one particular sentence from Rose.

“You know what? It doesn't even matter. Y/N cant even be alone in the forest anymore. They’ll be mates in name only. We just won’t let Y/N be anywhere the mutt.” You turned your head to the blonde vampire with a glare that shocked everyone in the clearing. You were not a very angry child. You were quiet and reserved and made sure to not anger anyone as to keep yourself from being abused but now? No one would keep you from seth. Vampire or Wolf.

“You will NOT keep me from my mate. And if you try then I’ll leave with the wolves right now and never return to forks.” You saw Alice and Jasper as well as Emmett glare at Rose. they’d finally got their wish to be parentes any god help anyone who tried to get in the way of that. “Sam feels the same. No one will keep the two apart and if anyone tries they will have to deal with the elders.” Edward translated for Sam and Leah backed down a bit but she was still pissed. After the initial argument it was decided that the Cullens would be allowed onto the Reservation with a guard of at least four wolves at all times. You were happy that you could see Seth whenever you wanted.

The days until the attack passed by with a lot happening. You and Seth got to know each other. Seth adored you and made sure you had ANYTHING you needed. Animal blood? You got it. The best muffins or cookies ever? You had an open invitation to Emily and Sam’s house. Over the few weeks till the attack of the newborn army it was decided that Edward, Bella, Jacob, Seth and you would head up into the mountains to try and hide and with two wolves your and Bella’s scents would be hidden.

You always Loved the snow. And to be in a tent with just you and Seth was special. It was late at night as you leaned into Seth’s warm chest. You were trying to stay awake but failing horribly. ‘Why not let yourself sleep, bud?” Seth asked as he tried to keep the amusement from his voice. “Cuz, If they attack overnight, I wanna help.” You couldn’t see the smile on Seth’s face but just know it was huge. “Bud, if we're attacked I’ll wake you up. I promise.” Somehow this convinced you and it wasn’t long till you fell asleep. Seth held you tight the entire night.

The next day Everyone was on edge as they waited for the battle to end. The tension between Jacob, Edward and Bella was thick enough to cut it with a knife. You and Seth just wanted this to end. Seth visablay flinched when the battle began. you leaned into his fur knowing any touch from you would calm him. And you would always make seth Feel better. It wasn’t long until Riley and Victoria showed up. It all happened so fast that you didn’t realize what had happened until Victoria had you pinned down. You were scared to die this time because you’d be leaving Seth. And that thought gave you a sense of angger that you never had before.

“I should’ve killed you with your no good father.” The redheaded snarled which angered you even more. You pointed your hand at Victoria’s ribs and your eyes glowed gold as you felt the magic pulsed to your hands. This gave you a confidence that you never had and you smirked huge. “Yeah, you probably should have. Now it’s gonna be the death of you.” The shock on Victoria’s face was the greatest reward ever. You see Edward brace himself behind you two and you used your magic to blast Victoria off of you as Seth ran over to you placing himself in front of you and you could hear Jacob ripping Riley to bits. You sent a smile to Seth as he Lowered himself to the ground for you to ride on his back.

The group of you five headed back to the Cullen house and you smiled as Edward ruffled your hair. “You’re very lucky Seth. Y/N is truly magical.” Edward said with a smirk as You, Jacob and Seth groan. You kissed Seth’s wolf forehead. “Bad pun aside, he’s Right Sethie. You're lucky you imprinted on me and I’m lucky you’re my mate.” You said honestly as Seth managed to lick your cheek and you smiled as you fell asleep on Seth's beck and you knew that you would be safe and loved. And your father smiled down on you from whatever afterlife vampires had. And the Cullens would make sure you grew up into someone your father and Seth would be proud of.

sooo instead of fantastic beasts 2 and 3 (which sucked) i wish we just got a 10-ep series abt newt going across pre-ww2 europe & cataloguing magical creatures 🤷‍♂️

maybe he noticed the creatures he had were oddly distrssed and went off to find the cause? maybe they sensed dark forces, aka. grindelwald's rise to power, the way birds can sense a storm

perhaps the creatures further east were more distrssed than those on the west? he couldve noticed that on his usual travels, or read some vague reports in the daily prophet

but ofc, the wizarding world doesnt rly care much abt magical creatures yet at this point. so the reports are pretty nonchalant and borderline joking

yet, they contain details that are pretty alarming to newt. maybe creatures harming themselves? or others? attacking muggle towns? herbivores suddenly hunting other animals? weird hybrids popping up that shouldn't even exist?

maybe its grindelwald experimenting with the idea of using creatures to gain power but psssst we dont know the reason yet ok

so newt sets off eastwards to figure our tf is going on. starting from britain and ending in ep 10 in romania (as we've learned in hp, romania has DRAGONS 🔥🔥🔥)

every ep has a different magical creature as the focus. some we know from hp (hippogriffs?), some are new. dark creatures (stuff from defense the dark arts classes in hp) also show up so there's action lol

and maybe grindelwald's minions are also on newt's tail? trying to stop him from sniffing around?

ofc jacob tags along because due to wizards not giving a fyck abt magical creatures yet, newt's only guides are local muggle rumors and fairy tales. and newt's a very awkward wizard, while jacob is an incredibly likable and normal man to whom villages readily open up

tina tags along too, because she's an american auror and is trying to figure out whatever dark forces could be gathering (but might be doing that in secret from local authorities cause politics).

theseus is there for the same reason except from the british ministry

we could have a slow burn romance with tina where newt's rly awkward and tina's rly reserved but they clearly care abt each other & over time & experiences, they bond

like newt has no idea how to be in a relationship or show feelings and might even doubt if there's space in his life for another person, considering how long he's been alone and how obsessed he is with his work. he's also kinda always been alone so it's all a strange new situation for him

tina, on the other hand, is incredibly guarded and careful to the point of seeming cold. over time she learns that yes, some people can be trusted.

oh and both learn to actually communicate lol

theseus has actually persuaded the ministry to send him (with some difficulty) because he was worried abt newt and wanted to be around to help. but he doesn't admit this, at first claiming the ministry made him come and that it's even a hassle for him.

he cares abt newt but theseus is a very regular dude who thinks newt's very weird. he loves his brother but struggles to relate to him at all. maybe even infantalizes him a bit? is overbearing?

over time he kinda Gets what newt wants to do and gets a newfound respect for him and learns to accept his weirdness and learns boundaries. and, again, communication lessons for both

i dunno how to shoehorn queenie into this but yeah she could be here too... if i think of a good pretext lol maybe she's just following jacob along

and queenie & jacob are very lovey-dovey but maybe they struggle with the realization that being together might mean being ostractized by their communities

maybe they get rly dramatic and queenie does an Edward Cullen like going "I never loved you" and breaks his heart because she believes he's better off without her

but ofc it horribly backfires and she admits what she did and the whole thing is a mess and they do get back together. but like everyone else, they learn to Communicate

and our merry band of misfits visits both other wizarding schools mentioned in hp (i dont remember their names sorry 😔🤡)

the french school has fairies and half-fairies in it and they have a connection to nature. so they give newt's concerns more attention than anyone else so far. newt's pretty stoked abt that, but there isn't much they can do. maybe the headmaster is too sceptical, despite other staff willing to help newt. maybe grindelwald's dark influence has spread, and the headmaster mistrusts foreigners, muggles, and wizards friendly with muggles as a result

the german school is far less welcoming. maybe they think he's a weirdo too. here grindelwald's influence is even stronger. but perhaps a student or young teacher comes out to help regardless of directive. maybe out of respect for newt's pure guts, wandering dangerous forests and risking everything for his beliefs. after all, their school values being stoic, and this student considers newt to fit this ideal. maybe they help the group find a giant (but i dont think giants are technically magical creatures...?) or an ice monster or something

i've always been fascinated by those other magical school, but we never got a glimpse. so i'd love it if they were very creative and had detailed interiors and exteriors. maybe the french one is an enormous living tree? maybe the german one is entirely underground?

along the way we might also meet other characters, both muggles and wizards, who help or hinder our heroes' journey. maybe we also meets other authors of future hogwarts books, or parents of known characters in hp. neville's parents are an idea, but i dunno if it's possible timeline-wise 🥴

along the way jacob helps a lot using the skills he has (strong social skills, loyalty, a good heart, maybe also knowledge of muggle affairs) and as such is a counterpoint to grindelwald's philosophy of wizard superiority

oh and in ep 1 newt has a near-death experience with a magical creature. rather than blaming the creature, he's understanding and just says the creature was distressed. (other people think he's insane, though.) this does scare him, though - what would happen to his beloved creatures if he was done? what about his body of work? his painstakingly acquired knowledge of magical creatures?

so he starts compiling his notes and writing a book, with doubles as an instruction manual on how to care for magical creatures. but he has no one to pass on his notes to, and it bothers him

maybe he tried to give the notes to dumbledore, but dumbledore smiles and says to give him the book when it's fully done

(dumbledore's lobbying in hogwarts to introduce care of magical creatures as a subject, but wont tell newt yet since its still uncertain)

oh and the eps can start with newt narrating the corresponding parts of his book. the ep's very first shot is always that shaggy, agressive meanace of a book we see in hp. then we see newt's hand carefully patting it, opening it, then reading

over time, he learns to trust his companions, and they begin to understand his work. maybe in like ep 9 he opens up abt his fear of dying and not being able to take care of his menagerie. so they all promise to care abt the creatures using newt's book, should anything happen to him

obv it does, he dies in ep 10 😭 maybe by sacrificing himself while trying to stop grindelwald from enchanting a dragon to do his evil bidding or something

his companions are sad ofc and they do keep caring abt his creatures. we see a montage of all of them doing so, jacob clumsily trying to feed some huge creature, theseus getting bitten, tina sadly stroking the back of some bird-like or horse-like thing

we can have a post-credits scene where, many years later, hagrid's teaching care of magical creatures. maybe fondly talking abt newt and wishing he could've met the man who Understood so deeply why all creatures matter

so yeah thats the kind of fantastic beasts content i crave and think about

and this is how i chose to spend my morning 😃 detailing my imaginary series into the void 😃

bellice person again. can u give me an analysis of bellward? been really into twilight lately, i think it's camp

absolutely! I rly love Bellward and I feel like they deserve more credit than they get, esp by the late 2000s memes and standards

Im gonna preface this with saying this is just how I personally see Bella and Edward's relationship, not necesseraly how it is in text cause smeyer is terrible. support the actual real life Quileute tribe not her, thank u

also I havent read Midnight Sun just yet so idk some stuff I get might not exactly be too accurate but dont worry I will get my hands on the copy soon enough

for me Bella and Edward's relationship stems from the fact that they are both just such lonely ppl finally meeting someone who wanted to give them a chance, someone who finally understood one another. Bella was an outcast, she didn't feel like she fit in and was quite introverted. having someone who actually cared for her and wanted the wellbeing for her mustve meant a lot and she was enticed by this dashing stranger. and I mean I was also a teenager, if I met a guy like Edward I would do the same

at the same time, Edward seems like a man who lived an unfullfilling life. just going day by day, trying to find his place and failing. maybe it's not as severe as before but he still can't live up to expectations and wants of others. he reads minds, he knows everything abt everyone - but not Bella. and while others criticize it, I think there's sth beautiful in this. Edward's own mind is stormed by others thoughts but only with Bella, he finds comfort in the silence. he wants to know more abt her and does that in a way he was never really allowed to - just by talking

this is what I like abt their relationship, this kind of allowing each other to taste the life they never thought they have. and the kind of choice each of them makes. they both know it's dangerous to be around each other but their love is stronger than fear. I have just finished reading the Bree Tanner novella and she ponders on why would Cullens even keep up with Bella. so that's the fact driven time and time again - as much as everything is against them being with each other, they still will choose each other

I'm not saying this relationship is perfect, there are a lot of things I hate like the sleep watching or the fact that they say they love each other on the first date. but there's a lot to like abt them too. for me, Bella and Edward were just two lonely, depressed ppl who found each other at the right time and helped each other out. it's Bella's wonder of the world and Edward's desire to keep her safe. it's the silence when everything else screams

at the end lemme just say, that's what my fave Bellward moment actually is - last scene of Breaking Dawn where Bella exchanges her shield for Edward to give his mind a rest and show him a piece of herself. that's Bellward for me

Alice strolled down the street, it was a miserable day so she had no need to worry about the weather and covering her face but she still had her things on her just incase. she had wanted to get a new book as she had read most of the books in her house thousands of times, literally. she walked up to the bookstore and opened the door as the comforting smell of old books blew over her,

she walked past the different sections and shelves, Alice knew full well she had absolutely no interest in leaning about science, she already did enough of that at school over the past years, it gets a bit boring after the twentieth time.

she reached a section that gained her interest, there were piles upon piles about myths and old stories, she never really found interest in old stories but after the events she encountered after becoming a vampire she started to believe in almost everything and anything. as

as she got closer to the back of the store, she felt an odd aura surrounding her, she reached the section she desired, only to find the source of the odd feeling she discovered a girl at the back of the store flicking through the pages of the books seemingly before she purchased them already having a pile stacked up in her arms.

Alice approached the mysterious person and stood next to them pretending to flick though the books, glancing at her every now and again. eventually the girl left and Alice decided to leave soon after, as she had lost interest in the books and couldn't seem to figure out the reason why she was different to the other humans in the shop.

for days she couldn't figure out why she was different, she had been through almost every book on energies that the house, even coming to the point where she asked Edward for advice and that really only happened when she came to a dire situation.

she decided to go into the woods to clear her mind, usually it helped her when she went out, sometimes feeding off of the odd dear in there. she ran out into the depth of the wood avoiding the woodland path and to avoid people at the same time. Alice heard a twig break in the near premises, she decided to investigate incase I was a smaller animal she could feed off of, walking slowly in order not to disturb it. she noticed it was a person, it was odd for them to be this far out in the woods yet she had the same energy that the girl in the shop did the other day. as she took a closer look she realised it was. the girl must have sensed her because she instantly turned around and Alice was too star struck by her aura to move, staring at her like a deer caught in headlights. "oh! sorry I didn't realise you were there you scared me" she laughed it off, "have we met before?". Alice snapped out of her stance "oh yeah sorry about that I didn't think anyone would be out this far, I think we sort of met at the book shop the other day" she laughed it off and the girl stood up brushing her skirt off grabbing the various leaves she had harvested in the basket and then glanced at her watch and gasped " I must be off but I hope I see you soon!" she started stepping over the shrubbery and fallen branches, "oh and by the way, my names y/n it was nice meeting you!" she started walking off before Alice could mention her name and she didn't want to speed up to her incase she noticed the supernatural abilities she obtained .

on her run home she started to piece things together, the odd aura following her, the unknown attraction to her she experienced, the restless nights spent thinking about her. she finally pieced it together, she was a witch. a rare supernatural being, cost with protecting the earth from their birth for the rest of their elongated existence.

Charlie is actually really smart even though they try and play him off as the "clueless father" type. i truly think he would have figured it out. I think charlie would have been MUCH more distraught about bella being "deathly ill" than he was portrayed as if he really was left in the dark about everything. He probably didnt know everything, because not even Carlisle knew about the pregnancy-being-possible thing. I think it was all an act, though; Charlie knew everything from the beginning. He approached carlisle or something before Bella even came to forks and threatened him, saying if he or his family do ANYTHING even remotely small to hurt bella, intentionally or not, they would be in for it. Not like he doesnt know the implicit danger she is already in just being around the cullens, but he's accepted that part of it because he knows how strong willed his daughter is. If she wants something, she will fight teeth and nail for it.

But, Charlie knew about the werewolves as well. Like you said, he's known Billy for years. He knows what the werewolves are capable of and their devotion to protection. It helped charlie be not as worried. Did he know that Bella was going to fall for one of the Cullens? No. But he never could rule any interaction with them out as a possibility. He knew what could happen, but he trusted the werewolves more than his own fears to protect his family from anything that could go wrong.

Inn fact she'd probably get into more trouble if you weren't there to calm her down.

Yeah, so I grew up in a little town between Knoxville and Gatlinburg Tennessee. Hometown area of Dolly Parton, Emmett Cullen, and some of the best fucking Sweet Tea you’ll ever drink. As a kid who grew up in the lower Appalachian mountains, it was not uncommon for bears to come into town or your backyard since we and the bears shared a backyard so to speak. If you know, you know.

THE GANG GETS MAULED BY A BEAR

Side bar: one thing people don’t realize with Smokey mountains, is that it can get pretty damn hot and humid from all that sweet sweet altitude, and the seasonal change is more apparent.

Anyway, so it’s the end of my Sophomore or Junior year (I can’t remember which because I had this teacher, three semesters in a row because he taught English and creative writing). For context, if it were my Junior year, that means Eclipse would have came out that November before the semester I’m talking about. It’s fucking 90 degrees outside. (It very well may have been a few weeks before the annual May showers which turned our area into the hottest shower you could imagine). I bring up the rain because we also got a lot of flooding, and our school had its own trailer park full of portable classrooms. And when the weather was too severe, we could go into an inclement weather classroom. This idea will return later.

So it’s the beginning of fourth period, and it’s just hot as fuck outside, and we’re in our portable classroom like we have been all semester. Now, the thing I forgot to mention is the portables didn’t have a working bathroom and usually one side of the portable had heat and the other side had the air conditioning. Our side of the portable had the heat, which was great when the semester began, but it’s fucking May at this point. The other thing is you had to walk into a door and then the doors to the classrooms would be on either side with their own classroom doors, so we couldn’t actually prop the doors open. There is no fan to circulate air either, and if I’m not mistaken, The windows didn’t open.

So it’s Mid-May, mid afternoon, 90 degrees inside of a proverbial oven, and my friend Jessica gets light headed. She goes to the nurse because she’s starting to pass out, and the rest of us are start to sweat like crazy. The problem with being hot is you can only take so much off before it breaks the dress code. Then other students start getting sick. My Yeah fer Mr. P is like ‘fuck it, we should just go outside to the gazebo.’ The intercom goes off, and the lady says “Everyone please stay in your classrooms until further notice.” Shit. So he calls up to the office and tells them “yo, my students are hot in our portable. We’d go next door but they are having class this period. Can we go to our inclement weather classroom?’ While he is on the phone, a few of my classmates are coming in from getting water or using the bathroom. The head office makes it clear we must stay in our classroom until further notice. Don’t let anyone out. They will see if we can go to our other classroom except that classroom is also in use.

My teacher who is a dude in his early 30s and works out is like ‘fuck it. Everyone if you can strip down to a layer above your underwear, go ahead. Do whatever you want today. There’s no way we can have class it’s so damn hot.’ So we’re chilling and about a few minutes of everyone being on their phones. Someone gets a text that there’s a fucking bear in front of the school, and it’s been there for the entire class period. At this point, it’s about thirty minutes before the bus bell rings. And there’s a fucking bear that the office didn’t bother to tell anyone. Apparently, this baby bear has been roaming around our front lawn since the end of third block, and they were worried that the momma would eventually come around looking for it (which she did). The Middle school is also in the same gate but they had their own parking lot. So our school essentially put us under a lockdown drill without telling us “hey, don’t leave your class room so you don’t get mauled by a fucking bear!”

TL;DR: I almost got heatstroke or mauled because our school didn’t tell us for 1hr30 mins that a bear was in our front lawn.

camris lavellan!! he’s a dalish mage!!! 7) who is your inquisitor’s best friend?

josephine!!!! she was the first person camris felt genuinely safe around at haven and he really appreciated how kind and accommodating she was (and he also had a soft spot for her after she was the only one to greet him in elven). their friendship in haven is very “friendly co-workers bordering on being actual friends” and tbh i think, after “in your heart shall burn,” both when josephine thought camris was dead and camris thought he was going to die, they were both honestly pretty heartbroken bc like, they were becoming friends and it seemed like it was gonna be thrown away so quickly. so, once they get to skyhold and start hanging out more and josephine’s personal quest happens, they’re basically conjoined at the hip!!!! i hc that camris spends some of the most time in josephine’s office just chatting with her. i also hc that he becomes really close with her entire family!!!!!! and then trespasser is really sad for multiple reasons, one of them being that i hc they get into a really bad fight bc josephine’s stress about the council/state of the inquisition does Not mesh well with camris’ stress about everything so they have one big nasty blowout before the reality hits that this may be one of the last times they ever talk and then. oh boy tears everywhere!!! but it’s okay camris lives and (after going through an arc kinda like korra in s4 of lok) he visits antiva and spends some time at the montilyet estate <3 14) which demon is most frightening to them?

ooooh i’ve actually thought abt this a lot!!! i think despair demons would get to him a lot. or rage tbh. is this self projection? kinda! but if i am wearing my heart on my sleeve abt how much of camris is a self-projection, i do think he Goes Through It quite a bit and def has some heightened emotions, so i think both despair and rage demons could end up bringing a lot of unwanted emotions out of him 18) upon first meeting cole, were they afraid of him?

i think, at first, when haven is collapsing, he is so goddamn stressed that he can’t even Worry about who cole is other than “alright, this kid is bringing us some pretty bad news” and then, once he’s at skyhold, at first he doesn’t think much of cole? like, not in a bad way. just in a “he seems like a nice guy and......... also a spirit?” like he thinks cole is endearing in how he wants to help people so he ultimately doesn’t think much of him at first. and then cole starts poking around in his own head and that’s when camris starts to get pretty apprehensive for a while bc he makes a point to keep a lot of his mental shit locked up (but in the end, he sees cole as a good friend/younger brother of sorts) (i say younger bc i think cole is like assumed to be 20? and camris is 25) 24) what is their opinion on blood magic? would they ever use it, if given the chance?

i think camris, at the start of inquisition, doesn’t have particularly strong opinions on blood magic? he personally wouldn’t practice it but he wouldn’t deny being interested in learning more about it (well okay he absolutely would deny it to people like cassandra or cullen, but with solas he talks more freely about it). i probably have a more complicated answer when i factor in his relationship w/ dorian but, overall, camris wouldn’t practice blood magic but he at least likes hearing solas talk abt it!

“Mike honey, are you sure it was him?”

“Completely sure Bella. He kept looking at the house. Look! There he goes again!”

Bella pushed up her glasses and hobbled to the kitchen window to see the amped up car speeding by.

She was sure it was him too.

There were dazzles coming from the windshield that had sprinkled onto their house when he went by. They had only lasted a second, but it was enough to know it was him.

“Should we tell someone?”

“We could call your father.”

“I hate to make Charlie deal with this, but well, it’s private property. He shouldn’t be driving back here.”

Mike nodded his head and stroked his beard, “Should I put up a “We shoot” sign?

Mike didn’t know Edward wasn’t human.

If Edward wanted to be back here, well he had everything at his disposal to be back here.

“I’m not sure it’d do any good. That car looked like it had bulletproof glass.”

“Well, we have to do something, he can’t be messing up our roads and delving into our property! Not to mention, the neighborhood! If he keeps coming by here, he’ll scare the children! “

Bella nodded, her freshly colored bob swiveling as she did so.

“You’re right. —” Bella turned towards the stairs that led to her children’s rooms, “Kayleigh! Kyle! Come here really quick!”

“Busy!” She heard Kyle, her fabulous baseball player son, call.

“Hang on!” Kayleigh, her cheerleading daughter, said.

Mike went to the first step of the staircase to holler up there, “Kids! Come here right now! We have to tell you something!”

“BUSY!” Kyle yelled even louder than the first time.

Kayleigh, however, appeared at the top of the stairs.

“What?”

“There’s a creepy man in the neighborhood, neither one of y’all need to be playing outside without an adult.”

“Mom, I’m literally fifteen. Why would I be playing outside?”

“You never know Kayleigh! What if that boy from down the street comes over and you want some privacy?”

“She won’t be needing privacy, will you Kayleigh?” Mike interrupted.

Kayleigh rolled her eyes and went back into her room with a huff.

Kids these days. So disrespectful.

It had to be those pesky cell phones.

Mike went further up the stairs, “I’ll go tell Kyle. I bet he’s playing Fortnite. Hopefully, he came in first though.”

Bella shook her in exasperation. Her son. So lovely.

Hopefully Edward had heard her entire conversation and knew not to come back.

If he did come back, Bella wouldn’t hesitate to give him a piece of her mind. It was just downright unacceptable for a disturbing vampire to be in her neighborhood, near her kids, and near her husband.

So, she went to pour herself a glass of wine to ease her worries.
