In all seriousness, the Bad Boys are probably my favorite alliance in the whole series. I’m not sure why, but it could be because they’re having so much fun.

Also, people actually took to calling them the bad boys? Like Joel said “They call me the bad boy of the server.” Jimmy said “Yeah they do.” And it transformed in to their actual name and theme throughout the whole series. Even though nobody took it seriously, it just stuck. That’s hilarious.

Also Grian goes from being fighting against them to going with them and encouraging their silly schemes.

And there were no betrayals or anything? Jimmy and Grian each killed the other and after saying “Is this the end of The Bad Boys?” It wasn’t. It could be because Jimmy went out first (obviously) and Joel went third so they didn’t have the time to betray each other. Still, they feel so close.

And they have matching leather jackets! And they call each other babe! And they have a horrible base! And they had no chance of winning! And they are SILLY! THEY ARE SILLY YOUR HONOR!!!!!!

finally watched the joel empires episode and. it really is incredible that for how much joel jokes about "lore", e1!joel and e2!joel are still very clearly two different guys. like, those are two different characters! two... extremely joel characters... but two different guys and he commits fully to that and you can also tell! for all it's jokey and hyperbolic joel really does actually commit guys, always has, it's just this episode helps make that clear,

Grian esp like looking small and unassuming on the surface, supposedly weak and light and flighty in appearance with the wings— but a bird of prey might be more apt with how vicious he gets… and how much he ENJOYS it :) I think I mentioned or alluded to it in one of the last asks but I think hed not only enjoy the chase but the fight too with Joel. thats where he should falter, Joels physically stronger than him, Gri is good at planning and lucky shots but he shouldnt be good at this surely, but thats what makes overpowering Joel all the more satisfying

Also if you listen to a Billy Joel song and think "this kinda sounds like [other musician]" 9 times out of 10 he was doing that on purpose, he's always like "I don't want to sound like me" and he also originally wanted to be a songwriter and wrote music with other artists in mind so that's especially apparent on the early albums. He did write a couple songs with Dylan in mind even though he was like "Dylan would never have covered it he writes his own stuff" lol.
