I haven't watched the One Piece anime or read the manga (long-running series scare me), but after watching One Piece Live Action, Zoro and Sanji became my new obsession (mainly thanks to the actors from whom I couldn't take my eyes off).

Their relationship and dynamic fascinated me so much that for a week I have been reading Zosan fics day after day (and night after night - nights are the best time to spend them with fictional characters).

My difficult days were brightened by the thought that I would be able to read about Zoro and Sanji getting together again.

And I still have a lot of fanfics to read so I have more days, maybe weeks or months, maybe even years of obsession ahead of me.

I don't care about spoilers. I only care about dumb-cook and marimo who are hopelessly in love with each other.

I am rewatching the first episode of wandee gooddday, bc that's how much I love it. And it's drive me crazy the very first time Dee and Yak interact, Yak ignore Dee, didn't respond in at his call, which annoy him. And then in episode 3, he says he wants Yak as his fake boyfriend bc he never ignore him and AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH.

I’m so tired but I need to complain

I don’t care what anyone says I fucking despise s2 and 3 Tim and Melanie just in general. Like sure their characters are great, but gods if I had to listen to them complain about how awful Jon was one more time I think I might’ve lost it. I swear those two could’ve stubbed their toe and blamed it on Jon. So much of the issues Jon got yelled at for (the unable to quit thing especially) should’ve been Elias’ problem! Like yes Jon stalked Tim that’s awful and yes Tim had every right to be mad but FUCK man there’s so much more he blames Jon for. Same goes for Melanie like ghost bullet surgery? fair that was nonconsensual surgery but it was also a self defence move! Melanie so would’ve killed Jon if he didn’t! I just dislike those two so much. S1 Tim sweeps and S5 Melanie is alright I guess.

listen there really was just something about how in the book, snow’s 3-page descent from hesitant lover boy to deluded mfer happens entirely in his mind. lucy gray gives him no indication whatsoever that she suspects him, that she’s going to leave or betray him. he’s just sitting quietly in the cabin waiting for her to return when that seed of calculated suspicion, which he has needed to survive the capitol, takes a hold of him and chokes the life out of any goodness left inside him. it really drives home your terror as a reader that “oh my god did he kill her? did she escape? what happened to her? why would he even think that?” in a way that when the movie had to adjust for visualization it lost some of that holy shit this guy has lost it emphasis.

#seeing some discourse and im not saying lucy grey didnt know #im saying she never dropped the kind of hints that she knew like she did in the movie #or if she did snow isnt worried about them until he very suddenly is consumed by them #snow is not concerned about whether or not she believed him. of course she did! hes snow!#but then shes gone…. for a while……#and its the sudden immediate drastic unravelling that comes across so clearly in the book #that i knew wouldn’t translate to screen yet still cant help but miss #the hunger games #coriolanus snow #tbosas #lucy gray baird #not a crime or anything just a note that i cannot stop thinking about #the ballad of songbirds and snakes #this is all from memory of reading it quite a while ago. so maybe 3 pages is an exaggeration #but i remember it happening VERY quickly and without much external cause #like we as the reader have no indication as to whether shes nearby or not.#snow has no idea either. he just SUSPECTS. and his suspicion breeds the hatred that has been bubbling inside him all this time #he hates how she undoes him. he hates that he WOULD run away with her if shed let him keep his secrets #and he HATES more than anything that she makes him WANT to tell his secrets #he wants to be vulnerable and reveal the ugly nasty parts about himself and still be loved #but he does not let himself and it is everyone’s downfall #he chooses cruelty bc it is easy and familiar and makes him feel more powerful than the vulnerable give and take that real love requires

The problems you argue about get bigger and more serious.#You still hold so much love for this person despite how much you want to throw hands with them.#To have such a complicated history with someone and then fall apart...You always think you have time to heal the wound.#Why wouldn't you! You've never had anything but time with this person. A brother not in blood but in true and genuine bond.#And then the fucker dies! It's horrible and sudden and the last words you exchanged were cold and awful!#What do you do with those dead end feelings? What do you do but grieve bitterly and angrily?#There is no resolution for all the love you wanted back. There will never be an opportunity to bridge the gap between you.#Someone you loved died thinking you hated them.
