#I love the slow burn

So, I've been (over)thinking...

I know all of us in the Good Omens Fandom are anxiously awaiting season 3 (or even an announcement that it's really going to happen)

We crave more of our favorite demon and angel group of the two of us.

However ...

The more days that pass, the more I find myself quite enjoying the ambiguity of our current situation. I've been reading so much fanfic that is speculating (cleverly and magnificently) about theories, what has happened, what will happen, what might be, what might not be...

And as much as I want resolution, I'm so much enjoying everyone's creativity, and it's even inspired me to start writing as well.

With more than 6,000 years of history, there's so much fodder for stories.

As happy as I'll be for season 3, I'll also feel a sense of sadness when it's over, when we actually know what happened, when the theories are proven true or debunked with certainty.

Because as much as I want it, the mystery of it all will be over, and, for me, at least, right now, the mystery is more than enough.

The Disney + Series does an excellent job of maintaining the quest/adventure AND giving us a slow burn love story.

Where as most TV shows/Movies focus either on the adventure or the love story.

But Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief gives us both. That's right, I see all those silly, troublemaking smiles and side eye looks he gives her. Not to mention all those remarks and eye rolls with a glimmer that Annabeth throws his way.

They are soulmates your honor. Soul. Mates.

you all got me so obsessed with Chenford that you actually finally got me to watch The Rookie and last night i finally got to all that angst in s2 and lemme tell you the way Tim looks at Lucy in the hospital like she’s the most wonderful thing in the world and he’s so soft and sweet and gentle and excited to make her smile with her favorite burger and just so adoring... i cannot believe it’s still going to be 3 seasons until this man realizes he’s in love

He’s so impressed. Not just because of her skills, but because she stole from one of the gods.

Annabeth is only just starting to break away from the unwavering adherence to the rules of respecting the gods. The first time we saw her do that was talking back to Hephaestus in Episode 5, when Percy was frozen in gold. He’s never seen her willingly do something that could be counted as disrespectful to the gods and he’s so proud of her for it.

A page from my post-Botw Zelink comic. Each chapter covers key moments of my headcanon. I don't think my comic is super revolutionary in terms of story because there is so much fan content out there and im super classic and vanilla... but i dont care. I'm having fun creating my own take on what happened. This project is a time consuming blackhole and I draw it all out of order because I have no discipline whatsoever 😭 😂 It was originally just random black and white pages here and there with no cohesions, like my stand alone illustrations... but the illustrations became pages. The project is basically me fan-servicing my own self. 😂😂

Then it exploded, i've been adding color, cleaning up my panels, pimping the backgrounds.

I still unsure on which platform i will make it available to read. The friends who got my out of my shipping closet are screaming to me to print a fanzine, but i'm lazy hahaha. Might do a patreon eventually, idk.

Oh yeah, this is a panel from the chapter where Zelda and Link go back to Korok forest to put the Master Sword back in it's pedestal... I'm old, i played the old games. One of my BotW nitpics was that it didnt include the classic moment where the sword rests once again, like in ALttP and OoT. I like traditions okay!!!! Cheers!!!

A morning on the way to Baldur's Gate. The party booked themselves into an inn and enjoyed real beds, hot baths, and privacy for the first time since the Nautiloid.

Gale and Mayhew shared a room, of course. They were filled with the relief of surviving the shadows and the glow of finally getting together, so their private room was probably a blessing for the whole party, honestly.
