My thoughts on the characters throughout the seasons on my first watch:

S1

Luther: very very annoying, ew incest, kinda wanted him to die only so the incest plot couldn't happen

Diego: Oh he's cool I like him, and him canonically being semi-verbal? Absolutely love that, me too

Allison: she's sweet, kinda annoying, not the best person but I can see she's trying so I'm going to try to like her, didn't like how she went about the Leonard situation, very worried when she almost died

Klaus: oh I love you, favorite character, best character, you kind of remind me of my friends

Five: you are so interesting I am staring at the screen intrigued, very cool power, but also the mannequin??

Ben: side character, I like his interactions with Klaus

Viktor: you are.. Interesting, however there is too much you and not enough Klaus

Luther: annoyance from last season persevered and I don't trust his interactions with Allison but the scene with the two Fives was really fun

Diego: why the jfk obsession why, also he is a complete dumbass lmao (/endearing)

Allison: I forgive her for the previous season she is top 4, very sweet, I love her and Ray

Klaus: you have been demoted to second favorite but I still love you I swear

Ben: he is also winning me over, was very near getting really attatched to him at the end of the season and then he fucking died

Viktor: Liking him more now too, he's very sweet, I love him with Sissy and Harlan, the amnesia thing was pretty good, was very nice this season

Lila: not sure how I feel, conflicted, kinda don't like

Luther: fine you win I don't hate you anymore now go dance with your wife, also his reaction to Viktor coming out was so sweet I died, wasn't rlly worried about his death but damn all he wanted was a hug poor guy

Diego: "Do you feel loved? Good, you are" bangs fists on table, crying, screaming, also the whole thing with Stan was very sweet but Diego isn't rlly a good dad, not horrible, but as someone heavily interested in psych and parenting techniques; yikes my guy, you could do better

Allison: Oh her relationship with Viktor is so nice I hope nothing bad happens between them stares at the camera like in the office , also FUCK YOU, the SA was way way too far, completely irredeemable

Klaus: FIVE KLAUS ROADTRIP FIVE KLAUS ROADTRIP, also immortality thank fuck if you died I would have never recovered, all his interactions with Reginald all he wanted was for a good father :(, people need to start listening to him and taking him seriously asap I'm gonna lose it he deserves the world

Five: I would kill for you and your stupid old man outfits, also him being blamed for the apocalypse made my blood boil Five has been trying so hard to keep his family alive and he loves them all so much only to be treated like shit

Ben: I miss Umbrella Ben bring him back why is he such an asshole

Viktor: trans guy swag, all of the coming out scenes warmed my heart, liking his character more, him losing Harlan and Allison treating him like shit :(

Lila: She won me over she is so fun however what she did to Diego with Stan was shit

The JOJOLands Chapter 1 SPOILERS

I am INCREDIBLY happy to finally have two Joestar siblings as the JoJo and Jobro! I love their dynamic so much and I'm so very excited to see where they and this story go.

I have my gripes with the chapter (specifically the opening scene with Dragona...), but I think it's overall a really good way to introduce our characters and plot. I'm really interested in seeing where things go from here and I can't wait to draw more of these two. ^^

Just thinking about Daenarya's first night back. Her and Mal both exhausted from what they've been through. They have so much to say but somehow words seem hard now that they're alone, the kids are tucked away in bed, and it's just them. I imagine them just holding each other. Both afraid of falling asleep or let go for fear it was all a dream. They just lay there together listening to each other's breathing and heartbeat, lulled by the familiar melody of just being together after so long. 🥺

aka Thoughts on hints of Daniel being turned against his will

[note: there are no explicit hints, but there has been talk he'll be turned "soon" and that Armand will physically fight him, which i can't imagine him doing with his fragile human boy. so....!]

i have thoughts. on Armand and Daniel, and on Armand and Louis and all his lies coming back to haunt him. i suck at actually completing (and not just drafting) fic but. i have THOUGHTS. fic idea under the cut!!

Louis finally broke through all of Armand's mind blocks. Louis found out Armand had KEPT LESTAT IN THE FUCKING BASEMENT FOR DECADES [The Groan Theory]. Louis turns on Armand with the fury of a thousand suns, you killed my daughter you maimed the love of my life my husband YOU MADE ME FORGET ALL OF THIS. YOU MADE ME LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!! picture a Louis HELL-BENT on vengeance.

and then.

Louis' eyes suddenly shift to Daniel. and he's a FRACTION faster than Armand and picks him up.

by the throat.

and straight-up smashes him through a window and dangles him there, fuck only knows how many meters above the ground.

Armand pleads with him…. when nothing helps, he falls to his knees. picture Armand BREAKING.

picture Louis trying, so so hard, to hold onto his anger as some part of his DEAR heart (bless his good heart like god damn, he's got so much anger and darkness but he's got so much GOOD in him too) wants to balk. doesn't actually WANT to give pain for pain.

he knows this is the only way he has to hurt Armand back.

he wants to hurt Armand. he's a MONSTER. HE DESERVES IT.

Armand manipulated him from the very start -

but Armand isn't manipulating him now. isn't even trying. not even a small mental push. he's just on his knees. pleading. "Not Danny…."

Louis' mouth sets in a hard line.

any moment he's gonna drop him.

(much longer, and Daniel's dead anyway, he's been holding his throat way too tight. there's glass shards in his hair (in his head?), he's got a concussion at the very least. Louis' claws have already torn into him.)

silent tears roll down Armand's face. even his whispered "please" is silent, now.

Louis balls his fist, claws ripping Daniel's windpipe right out, and throws him on the penthouse floor. then he runs out of the room, vamp-speed. (to Lestat.)

Armand doesn't even see him go, he screams as he falls to Daniel's side.

(sound cuts, only music over Armand's weeping and wailing. over Armand's heaving chest as he stares at Daniel, bleeding out. eyes already empty, so close to dead. so so close. Armand tears into what's left of his throat and drinks.)

cut to: a scene in complete silence, save for the steady beeping that gives a hospital atmosphere, though this can't be anywhere but the penthouse. camera pans through a white minimalist room. Armand comes into frame, sitting on a chair, staring at something (someone?) just off-screen. eyes hollow, face unreadable. camera slowly pans down. there is a needle in his arm, and the tube is running red.

I Just Wanna Yap

So… I just kinda wanna yap about my fandom oc at 11am if y’all don’t mind

My love of angst really shows with them. With how much pain I put these two through, you’d think I hate them. I don’t. I adore Matthias and Kajsa is legit my favorite fandom oc. I love these two with all my heart. I think about them way too much. I love siblings angst and these two? Delicious.

Ok so canon wise, Matthias loses his parents and younger sister when Inferni soldiers attack his village. That’s why he hates Grisha so much. In this version of the story, his sister is alive but he doesn’t know.

The attack happens, yes, but the two are just separated. We know Matthias joins the Druskelle, so what happens to her? Well, I played with the idea of the Fjerdan government and how far they would go to wipe out Grisha. Everyone knows what the Druskelle look like. They can’t hide. They’re big men, wearing animal furs, traveling in a pack, with what I would assume would be a thick Fjerdan accent. The people of Fjerda and the Druskelle believe they’re doing the right thing. They grab Grisha, put them on trials that they don’t know are a sham and kill them. But that’s so much work and the Druskelle move slow. In my story, the Fjerdans have another group. This group is a secret only high profile government personnel know about. It’s a group of women who are trained to become assassins and they go to other countries to kill Grisha. No trials. Just straight getting rid of them. That’s what happens to Kajsa. Matthias was always big for his age. Big and strong. Kajsa has incredible control over her body, a great memory and is a living amplifier (mom’s a descendant of Ilya’s second daughter because why not? Maybe I’ll change it. Idk). Yeah, they could’ve let them go, but the two would be lost in the foster care system and could leave Fjerda. That’s too much talent going to waste. So both of them are lied to and are told the other is dead. It drives them towards the anti Grisha cause more. Vengeance can make people monsters and that’s what Fjerda needs,

You may think she’d find Matthias and become besties with the crows right away. Absolutely not. Kajsa would actually be a villain. Keep up, shit is finna get juicy. SO, they made a big ass mess during that heist in Fjerda, right. Now Matthias is wanted in Fjerda and boom boom boom, Kajsa knows he’s alive. As a trained assassin, she wouldn’t have a hard time finding him. They reunite. It’s cute. It’s emotional… then she finds out his girlfriend is a Grisha. In the books, Matthias still struggles with his prejudices against Ravkan people and Grisha. He left his country for good because he fell in love with Nina. Kajsa only left her country for her brother. She’s still brainwashed. So she believes Grisha are still witches and thinks Nina has a spell on him. So when he refuses to leave her, she thinks she has to kill Nina to end the spell and when he doesn’t let that happen, she thinks she has to kill Matthias to save his soul because if he marries this witch and have kids then Djel won’t allow him to see their parents. Are you following?

So you might think “just jump the bitch” but NO. I specifically made her so she wouldn’t be easily taken down. Everything the Crows are good at, she can counter that. And before y’all call her OP, know I did this for a reason.

I’m not necessarily a pacifist but I love stories where violence will not solve the problem. They cannot jump this woman into submission. If Matthias wants this happy ending and he wants to choose both of his families, it can’t be The Crows Vs Kajsa. It has to be Matthias Vs Kajsa. That’s the only way to hopefully become Matthias AND Kajsa again. It has to be a family affair. Matthias has to be the one to appeal to her humanity and their family history. Matthias can’t come to her as the ex Druskelle, now escaped convict and she can’t come to him as this new assassin she’s become. They have to come to each other as family.

There’s a few parallels I have in mind with them. One being Zuko and Azula. Yeah Katara was there during the final Agni Kai, but it was a family affair. It was a family fight full of tragedy and sorrow and “what ifs”. Zuko, who was able to escape his father’s brainwashing and abuse vs Azula who didn’t have a support system and fell victim to the cycle of abuse.

And in my head the story would touch on multiple things. Corrupt governments, family, betrayal, abuse, grief, guilt. Can you still have sympathy for the abuser if you know they were once the abused? At what point do you stop feeling sympathy? Is change possible for everyone? Can you truly end the cycle of abuse? Plus other shit imma think of once I post this.

They’re everything to me. Neither of them really want to kill the other but they feel at some point they’ll have to. They genuinely love and care for the other. I imagine that on the anniversary of their parents death (and when they thought the other was dead) they’d leave offerings and pray to Djel, believing he’d send their loved ones a message. When they finally see each other again, Kajsa wants them to live new lives together somewhere else. All that hope and relief finally seeing the other is crushed as soon as it started. I JUST- loving them a normal amount is impossible for me. And because the story is in my brain, the angst hits different. Expect me talking about them more because damn. I honestly wanna write an actual story about them but idk yet. Might stay in my head. Might share. Who knows.
