The Hue Crew in Sticksforge.com.

First appearing in Animation vs. Animator 4, the Hue Crew is a quartet of stick figures from Sticksforge.com that specialize in weapon forging and combat. Since then, they have become The Dormant One's best friends, facing the best and worst of their lives together.

hmm... im sure someones made a good guide out there somewhere, but i personally havent used any but thats not a good answer, so another place to start is to use a real game as a ref! this is the sims 2 ds:

most of the detailed textures are only used for the player sims hair/face/clothing you can see by the jagged edges of this sims vest that its still a little lower than the faces texture (this is probably because the body has more clothing variations than the face and they needed to save memory)

static parts of the environment have a higher res, because they can tile/repeat the textures. this game has a million variations on bed/chair textures, so they're notably lower res this is a ripped texture of most(?) of the things used to make an area in the game (image credit) :

the desert background here is just a 2d image, relatively low res because the player will never be able to reach it

i guess this is just a long winded way of saying "things that arent that important or the player will generally be lower poly + less detailed" but i hope it helps a little

i made this really quick for a friend but im posting it in case anyone else might find this useful. Basically i got this "technique" from a single image of concept art for the eagle from that "Rescuers down under" movie 😭 but imagining the head as a 3d object instead of starting with the basic flat circle REALLY helped me a lot

How to filter out tags on tumblr?

I think people are once again forgetting how to blacklist tags they do not wish to see. The best way to avoid triggering and/or unfavourable content is to curate your own online space, which means putting in the work yourself instead of complaining in a post or sending hate to others in their asks or dms!

So here is a guide on how to blacklist tags on tumblr mobile! (please feel free to add to this post with other alternatives for pc and other filtering methods like add ons)

1. Go to your blog and find the gear icon

2. Find your accound settings

3. Find 'Content you see'

4. Tap 'New' and type in the offending tag you don't wish to see anymore

Congratulations! You have successfully filtered out the tag and now you never have to see that content again (as long as posts are all apropriately tagged)!!!
