Now, at twenty-five, their band was going to have their first real show—until the Riots, a much larger band comprised of Kirishima, Kaminari, and Sero, stole their venue.

i don’t want to be a Monster High G3 hater and i KNOW this is ultimately a really petty complaint as far as the reboot goes but... i really hate how they’ve been treating characters’ glasses. obviously, Clawdeen’s have been SUPER inconsistent regarding whether she actually wears them or not but...
something about pushing up Ghoulia’s glasses like that REALLY rubs me the wrong way. i can’t think of even one time in G1 where they’ve done that (though i might have just missed it), but it just.. feels bad. she doesn’t even look like herself.
#she doesn't even have that super-dark eye makeup that makes her look Absolutely Dead Inside without glasses (true to life experience)#Rambles Into The Void#i know needing glasses is like. a very minor disability to the point where most people don't even think of it as a disability but like#as someone who's had to wear glasses since like kindergarten i've always been Very aware of how weirdly rare it is for characters wear them#so having like.. the ONLY glasses-wearing OG (ex-)main ghoul have her glasses propped up on her head like she never needed them at all...#idk i just REALLY don't like it#even if characters like Clawdeen and Abbey (who doesn't have a doll yet) are supposed to have glasses now it feels wrong to do That#(and again. Clawdeen's glasses are WILDLY inconsistent and she seems to never wear them in promo photos (outside of live action stuff))#(i wouldn't be surprised if that ends up being the case with Abbey too if/when she gets a g3 doll)#(which sucks ass bc Abbey was one of my Absolute Favourites as a kid. little me would've gone even more nuts if she wore glasses back in g1)
