I got these shoes from someone recently but thought they were way too plain looking, so I set out on a quest to customize them with some sharpies and charms and miscellaneous ribbon I had in my craft drawers. Mostly sky themed (clouds, rainbows, rain, stars, etc.) because that's my favorite aesthetic, but I had to include some cat imagery as well, of course lol.

#also honestly had NO IDEA that real converse have that star logo on the INSIDE not the outer part??? why the hell would you want it on the #inner portion where nobody can see it?? my entire life I always would have sworn it was on the outer facing portion..#I think these would be perfect IF they were just slightly taller (top part higher above ankles instead of just weird hard material digging #right into your ankle whenever you walk) and if they were actual good platforms. they're so short. It's good that 'chunky' shoes are gettin #more popular as they've always been my favorite Look ever since I had these shoes with roller skates that pop out of thebottom (not heelys.#but like. before those. it was two whole entire roller skate wheels like a normal pair of roller skates) and the bottoms were so tall and #clunky and it made my feet look giant (because it had.. entire wheels in the bottom pockets lol). so #I've alwatys been into the aesthetic but . still I find a lot of the 'brands jumping on trend' are too short of platforms #OR they're plafrorms with a raised back/heel/wedge which to me is not aesthetically good and also makes them exceptionally uncomfortable to #wear compared to just plain completely flat chunky platform bottoms. ANYWAY.. if these shoes had a 3 or 4 inch platform I think they'd be #cooler. however for what they are it's still fine! and I like them more now that they actually have some sort of anything to them and #aren't just plain white. The weird thing is that the material it's made out of (maybe some sort of leather or something) absorbs sharpie?#the color changes over time. You draw a mark and then leave it for a few days and it either fades into being barely there or has changed #colors. so I had to go back in and redo parts. ALSO the shoe chains are so funny because I did NOT have the right tools for them #I don't have the stuff to make bracelets or open and close the little rings. they're held onto the shoe with just safety pins and the actua #little rung things that hold the charms on half of them are like broken or the metal is just jam smushed together bent and warped hhbjhjhb #I actually like the back a lot where there's the irridecent star thing hot glued on there. it's cool and shiny. and the clouds #are sparkly on the main parts of the shoe though I'm not sure how well it shows up in pictures #ANYWAY... shoegs..... If I were rich this is one of the things I would definitely custom order from craftsman #why would I spend like thousands of dollars on plain ass shoes that are just expensive because they're a Luxury Brand when I could literall #like pay people to create me custom shoes to my exact specifications?? I could have like 5 inch flat platform boots with fur andclouds #and cat shaped holes in the bottom with LEDs in them with pom pom and charms and etc. etc. etc. Like as gaudy and excessively over #decorated as I want lol.. AND they could have skates in the bottom somehow!! ghjgbhjb #this on top of all the custom wizard costumes and period clothing I would order.. Like i LOVE customizing things. I love everything in my l #life being as particualr as possible and cultivating every experience I have to meticulously meet my own specific criteria as much #as is possible. If I had the money to I would never buy something from a store again. EVERYTHING I owned from furniture to clothing #would be either made by me - or mostly - comissioned from craftsmen. custom tiles for my floors. custom bed. custom table.#even like. custom toilet. custom sinks. etc. etc. ouGGH... but yeah.. anyway... shoes..

Sylvain is the only FE3H boi I've made a playlist for and it kinda says all. I love him. He's an angst pit.

BG3 gets one for Astarion and one for Tav(... Tavier. my Tav lmao). As well as a combo one that is literally just a mashup of the two that I'm not going to bother linking.

Ichimatsu from Oso-san and Nagito from Danganronpa both have xReader playlists that are entirely self indulgent.

Lastly, because this link storm is becoming chaotically long, here's three vibe ones I'm pretty happy with; one for Hypnos from the Hades game, one for Wally from Welcome Home, and one for Tendou from Haikyuu.

yesterday i spent 45 minutes of my life watching a video essay criticising the use of cheap shock values and crossing of taboos for a video game and i went from "he has a point even if he's explaining it in a really inflammatory way" to "oh umm... i can see how he thinks that way even if i don't agree" to "oh this guy's just straight up using people on tumblr as material for an audience to get mad at like other outdated people on the internet. nvm he's just an asshole"

#yuu rambles #it was about the coffin of andey and leyley btw - i agreed w him on the first half of the video about how it felt rather noncommittal to it #concepts and themes but i recognise its not really *trying* to be serious which means its not a reasonable #framework to judge the intention and execution of its work - an apple pie does use butter in it but just bc it does #doesnt mean you get to compare it to steak; a dish that also uses butter. this is intuitively easy to understand for me #but nonetheless it was like 3 am i had stuff to do so i just put it on my background to listen #he makes a diss at “people on tumblr” early on that i just raised my eyebrow at but shrugged it off bc its such an old joke #its lost its zinger; and im p sure its just confirmation bias from going into the tags of the thing you dont like lol if you use tumblr #normally you wouldn't come across things you dont like bc you'd have blocked them. GOOD NEWS EVERYBODY IM BACK I HAVE ANSWERS so we looked at my teeth etc and I’m not gonna die of sepsis bc despite all the shit my toothache caused me there’s no infection. so what was it, Bronwyn? good question!

wisdom teeth

#LMFAO #my wisdom teeth are……… so poorly angled. 100% impact on all four #and the left one is tryna make moves so it’s swelling my gums which is raising my molar #and jacking up my bite while the tooth is sensitive in sensitive gums #¯\_(ツ)_/¯#so he suggested just. get rid of them. take the wisdom teeth out. all 4 bc of the possible impact from them #and if I didn’t I’d just periodically have this crazy ass pain come and go and come and go and fuck THAT so. removal it is #👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻#I have no idea what that’s gonna cost lmfao so we’ll…. we’ll see #and today basically the pain hasn’t been nearly as severe. the swelling has gone down significantly. so I think the pain/problem is #subsiding for a bit. I hope. lol. so they’re referring me to the dental hospital teehee #and then we did a clean of my teeth bc I have crazy plaque buildup and thus bacteria and thus making the issue worse. apparently. so #which isn’t a surprise. depression and adhd means I don’t brush my teeth as often as I should. and floss is scary #while doing that he seemed to have no problems with any of my fillings so I assume they’re fine atm too #all those side effects bc my wisdom tooth wants to play up…….. attention seeker #also between that molar and the gums where the wisdom tooth is. there’s a pocket. apparently. and stuff is getting stuck in there apparently #a pocket……. head in hands. and obviously that’s difficult to clean so that’s also bothering my gums and thus my tooth. #ugh. im feeling chatty today. probably bc i feel kinda weirdly anxious. like when u can Imagine bad things happening in detail #and like it feels like ur wait for it even tho its in ur imagination? whatever. anyway. ive been watching a lotta #stuff on like professional artists and idk maybe im just in too deep on science academia but i dont. i dunno the culture #seems so weird to me? like what does one do in art school? i guess i took a lot of art in high school but my teacher was kinda trash #all we did was paint realisticly using a grid and i hated that. but i image ur supposed to exercise different styles and medias? how tf #does that get graded? i dunno. i haven't taken any uni level art classes. i should tho. id probably like it #its weird tho. anything that tries to give structure to art stuff seems so weird to me. like u go to school for science stuff to build up #ur background knowledge and i guess u can do that with art but it feels different. i guess bc ur training muscle memory. i dunno #i like to imagine an au where i go to art school but i legitimately cannot fathom doing that. cannot fathom a life outside of my toxic #relationship with academia. i dont even kno what i would want to specialize if i went down that path. maybe illustration #bc it makes me happy when ppl say my style looks like something out of a kids book. i dunno #i guess classes would help with things like forcibly learning shadows and anatomy and composition #maybe i just need to make art friends. like what is ur life like? im too much in a science bubble #i guess going to art school also just devotes all ur time to art. not just tiny pockets of time between all the things u have to get done #god. i can only imagine the panic of procrastinating an art project and physically not having enough time to finish it #thats how i felt with my masters thesis. there was just physically not enough time for me to fix my code in all the ways i needed and rew #rewrite things. but i finished it somehow #ugh. god. i have things i need to finish coloring. i will finish them today. i will #i hate coloring. but colors r so pretty ;_;#unrelated

man i knew it was going too smoothly

#went from appointment to bloodwork to prescription for T in less than a week #and now i'm in insurance hell trying to get it covered so i can go pick it up and start my boy journey more thoroughly #but! it's not even that insurance doesn't want to give me the boy gel!#i called them ahead of time to see if I had to do anything for them to cover it - and the answer was just have my doctor send a form in #so i did that and then went on vacation expecting boy gel when i got back #but no! insurance never got the form and the phone tag between them and the doctor and the pharmacy i had to do to confirm this was wild #but hopefully doctor will resend the form it will go through and i will have t by the end of the week #fingers crossed anyway #the upside of this is that i have only had a pleasant time talking to insurance on the phone?#i may have shit coverage but by god is their customer service good #minus the continued ''ma'am''s even after confirming the prescription i was calling about was for testosterone lmao #worst case is they end up not covering it and i pay out of pocket - which isn't terrible and i'll do it but paying less is always nice #but also i would have liked to just know that and have gone and got my goddamn boy gel already #i don't talk about my personal trans stuff here very much but i should make a tag in case i do more of it #what do i want that tag to be tho #boy stuff #yeah ok i'm going to commit here and now to ''boy stuff'' lol

i hope i scared off the neighbors with the confederate flag in their living room when i babysat and just talked about bluey homestuck or tf2 to these 8 year olds. for a brief moment these children have viewed a world beyond their sheltered gates and i don't think they'll ever want to go back but the family hasn't called me back either. i hope i am their shadow monster across the street and stay inside lest the queer beast eats you. i hope they live in fear forevermore.
