The barracks are clearly new, but are perfect for the two newly assigned troopers who stumble into the room. It feels like it's been ages since they had slept, and it's Echo who moves first. Armor hits the floor faster than he can blink, and the under armor is pulled down to his waist so he can breathe.

It's hard to celebrate when his batchmates were killed a few short hours ago.

Fives isn't far behind his twin, his armor being set on the table bolted to the floor in a neat pile. His under armor just has its sleeves rolled up, and Fives just takes in a slow breath, some tension leaving his body when he exhales. Echo is in his arms the moment he finishes, and for a moment they just hug each other as tight as they possibly could.

It feels wrong they're not there, celebrating joining the 501st with them.

"Vod.." What can you say right now? What could they possibly say?

"K'uur." Echo wasn't even sure if Fives heard him, just feels the way he takes in a shuddering breath, but eventually the other pulls himself together. It's long enough for them to pull the regulation mattress' off their beds and onto the floor, and it's frighteningly empty that the two cling to each other, instead of the other three bodies that had always been in their sleeping pile. Troopers who pass by their room pretend not to hear their cries of mourning, and Rex doesn't ask for his new charges when they don't show up at the morning meal the next day.

They need their time, so their new brothers of the 501st let them have as much as they needed.

Random reflections after 6x08

1. I was so mad Tim was flirting with London. It felt like a huge ICK, but I need to rewatch this, cause y'all helped me figure out that it might be his trick to get into her good graces.

2. Wade "well, that wasn't awkward at all" Grey is an unsung hero and our ship captain now. And I'm here for every second of it. I love his dedication and I love how he sides with Lucy and helps showing Tim his place.

3. I am sad about Dr London being evil, but I'm happy she is not all evil (more lured by Monica). But I hope it won't affect Tim's progress. I think they might want to reduce his growth to just implying therapy. Not great.

4. I love Lucy x job this ep. She found a way to be empathetic and good at her job. And it was really cool they found the killer, because of her harsh (Tim Test) side. It was great writing to highlight how long of a road she has had.

5. There is something further disturbing me in a Kojo scene. Tim is dressed way to nicely for just dog drop. Did he want to meet with Lucy? Did he hope she would come to him with Kojo?

6. The last scene is completely heartbreaking. Seeing your old buddy taking his life is just the worst thing for Tim now (but I think it's more of a plot device and will have different consequences, after all it's The Rookie). My heart aches for Tim and what is his life now.

7. Also: Lucy and bath bombs? I love her, she is my girl. And I love how well she manages herself and navigates her life. I like how she didn't mention Tim or break up once in this episode. And she is so respectful of people around her it's almost too much love to take.

8. I also loved how Tim was bothered by Lucy's birthday and how Aaron encouraged him a bit to do something about it. The first birthday wishes after the break up are always something really tough.

Do you mean Rookie cold opens, or just for any show ever? Because this is probably my favorite cold open of all time:

You know, for as many times as I’ve watched this show, you'd think this would be easy. Instead, my brain immediately blanked on most of the cold opens and I just spent 2 hours looking through all the episode transcripts and then rewatching a bunch of them and struggling to narrow it down.

2x06 Fallout I’m such a sucker for simple comedy, and this one is that for sure. Nolan’s steadily growing horror combined with the guy’s cheeky smile when Nolan realizes he has a dick piercing? Perfection. It cracks me up so much!

4x17 Coding Don’t get me wrong, I love a good short, comedic cold open. But this one… holy cow. It punches me in the heart every single time. It’s so intense and so sad, and just a really moving scene. I’m listing these chronologically, but if I was going in order, this one would probably be at the top.

5x09 Take Back Grey is such an underrated character, and I always love when he gets his own storyline. He’s typically so stoic and professional, so to see him completely out of his element is just endlessly hilarious to me.

5x13 Daddy Cop This is another one that just makes me laugh every time. It’s such an annoyingly catchy and hilarious song. And Celina singing along at the end is really just the icing on the cake.

5x16 Exposed I mean… isn't it obvious? We start off with Chenford in bed together, with Tim curled towards her and his head basically laying on her pillow. Which is just adorable. And then we immediately transition to Lucy being just an absolute badass. This cold open encapsulates the softness of their relationship, Lucy’s UC skills, and Tim’s unwavering support for her so well.

1x13 Caught Stealing This one makes the list because it's the first time we ever really see Tim mess with Lucy. Like... the fact that he could get mad at her, but instead he takes a picture of her and makes t-shirts? I love it!

1x19 The Checklist Again, simple yet funny. And Talia’s reaction to meeting Will.I.Am is probably the funniest moment we ever saw from her.

2x14 Casualties This one just cracks me up. That’s really all I can say.

4x02 Five Minutes The only reason this one didn’t make the top five is because the boot prank is just one tiny piece of the entire cold open. Which is also a good scene… just not quite top 5.

4x22 Day in the Hole It was hard for me to push this one out of the top five because this scene has so much. Chenford bickering like an old married couple. Tamara’s awful driving. She and Tim joking with each other. The fact that he gave her the name of his mechanic. And, of course, let’s not forget the fact that this scene sets up the entire Dim/Juicy storyline.

5x10 The List I mean. Do I even need to explain this one? If it was just the deciding what to wear scene, 100% this would be top five. But I get a lot of secondhand embarrassment from awkward scenes, and that date has some great moments but overall it’s just so awkward.

Mota ep 7 rewatch thoughts

I'm catching up! I'm watching BoB ep 1 right after this.

So, here's the rambling:

I'm not gonna talk about the affair plot line because I'm gonna write up my analysis post later anyway.

TwoBucks in that stalag is all kind of funny and sad. Babushka!Buck exists for one episode only and yet already iconic.

The mail! Wow what a scene. I forgot how obviously jealous Bucky was of that one mail form Marge. Like here the thing

Before him, there was another guy getting 3 mails, one of which is from his mother. But only after Gale get the mail from his fiancee did Buck react verbally and very bitterly. What is this??!?!?! How can read this scene as anything but Bucky pathetically yearning for his best friend???

This episode has too much narration. Probably the most narration in all nine episodes and thus, for me it feel really weak.

I mean, instead of telling me about how morale on base is bad and everyone is tired and stressed... why can't we spend some time with the mechanics crew and the doctors/nurses on base? Both these groups of personnel have consistent re-appearances and they are led by 2 characters have shown to be there since episode 1 (Ken Lemmons and the Doctor Man With The Pipe)

Having the mechanics and the emt react to how they don't even know who is flying what plane, who has been shot down, who is in the med wing,... that kind of stuff would be so good!!!

I like Bennett. You know he's a solid when he fly with the boys immediately on a proven dangerous mission.

Rosie upping is still such a good scene. I don't know. Maybe Nate Mann is just that charismatic, but his reasons are because of the men who "got the rules changed mid-game" and how if he is gone, there might be dead rookie in his spot... that's the good stuff.

EPISODE 1!!!!!

can i say. first of all. wtf are these graphics. what were they thinking and why does it kind of work with the atmosphere.

second of all. introduction of the coffee. does carzzy like coffee? is that his coffee? who made the coffee? all differs depending on the video.

introduction of the smiley "i agree to anything carzzy says" humanoid. he has that rookie vibe here like he's very unsure of himself but oh boy marek, carzzy is not a stable anchor.

also, carzzy calling humanoid "marek brazda" every chance he gets, istg. he 100% says it just because he loves how it sounds. brazzzzda.

cut to carzzy calling him unskilled and we get the classic "i've been insulted by carzzy" face. i love that he has these patented modes. so far we've had "carzzy loml you can never do anything wrong (meant ironically)" and "carzzy loml 🥺🥺 spare me anything sir i haven't but a penny" (it has been 40 seconds)

face is exemplified when carzzy goes out of his way to place his cup on (what i assume is) humanoid's desk, cause of course he does.

humanoid gets asked a question about mid and so carzzy is RESPECTFUL and lets humanoid speak.

i realize at this point there are so many things to point out but i'm too lazy to screencap them. first of all, carzzy complaining about pantheon/taliyah and humanoid who was not listening at all just going "nice :)" and carzzy also needs a moment to register and then goes. "no." and then they start arguing about something with approx. 0 heart and 2 braincells of what they're arguing about. and then carzzy does the thing where he lets humanoid get the last word (thing he does all the fucking time) and just hums like a girl cause SHE IS down bad. (btw me calling carzzy a girl is not an insult it's an um actually? 🏳️‍🌈🤓 moment.)

G2 TIME!!

one of the most important things about carzzynoid is their nonchalant complete factually incorrect statements. can guarantee you they think it's the funniest shit ever, however, it's only funny if no one laughs. they have these voices where you can tell they're trying to make themselves sounds as uncaring as possible. anyway yeah guys, g2 is 10th, 9th place team for sure.

CAN I SAY. carzzy's heterochromia is insane in these early videos. every close-up on his face i go woawwww!! idk if it's more noticeable or if i'm just going insane. anyway humanoid goes on to end the segment with "pojďme se na to společně podívat!" (according to software that seems about correct to me) meaning "let's take a look at it together" otherwise LITERALLY meaning "check it out." or something pretty close. as an EXTREME linguistics nerd and general languages lover i think hearing them speak czech makes me explode about 10 times anyway so. idk if that's a correct analysis :)

NEXT DYNAMIC UP!! the fuckin sad lions/chad lions thing. carzzy thinks they are "sad lions" cause they lost both games.

carzzy calls humanoid a czech, a clearly very embarrassing insult. also he hesitated a bit which meant he was SCRAMBLING for a different insult but really. czech? that's the best he could come up with. pussy.

anyway he's bullied marek into participating in the content and so he actually has to give his thoughts and he thinks he's a bad chad bitch who actually LET them win. also "this guy" counter: I. because humanoid hates calling carzzy anything actually. carzzy is just a pest to him and he needs to express that to carzzy face. obviously.

CONFLICT RESOLUTION!! i love how their dynamic is straight up insult each other until one person goes: actually you're the best i love you so much you're so hot so talented i agree with everything you say i'm a shit stain you're a saint i'll do anytthing-

So, I just rewatched The Rookie season 3 finale, and now I feel the need to bother you about Chenford, so: top 5-10 moments Chenford moments so far?

asdfghjkl; um I don't have them in order but let me scrounge up a few

still a solid "thank you" "for what? doing my job?" because it outlines both of their characters and the way they fit together so cleanly in like,,, neon orange highlighter. Tim genuinely cares for Lucy and it's his job to help her so that's what he's going to do, and you'd better believe that he'll pour every drop of softness into the act because it's what she needs at the moment. Lucy on the other hand is allowing herself to open up to him and letting go of her hardened self-preservation instincts. she's accepted that she has no control and is trusting Tim to guide her through it. The moment was so so gentle and I really loved that

paintball. it's over anakin, they have the high ground! also a bit of a shock because what??? they're hanging out off the clock????? huh???????? this was nowhere near prospective at that point but it was the best most brilliant delightful surprise. They really deserved that moment to let loose in an exciting but low risk environment and just have fun for kriff's sake. the fact that they went and did it together was so unexpected in all the best ways

um you know... post barrel hug. We'd never seen Lucy that vulnerable until that scene. Sure, she'd been scared or nervous in past episodes but this... this was pure childlike terror and sadness; you can see it in the way she cries and curls her hands close. BUT we only get a brief glimpse of that raw emotion because immediately Tim has her bundled up in his arms and he's holding her so perfectly and auuughghhh 🤌🤌 You can see the relief in the way his face pales and it's just. mwah. wonderful. so human and broken but it feels so right that it's him, it's them together, and he's got her now she's SAFE. it's going to be okay. i feel like this scene solidified more than anything that they were partners, and while I'll never get over TV CPR, i'll always love it for that.

When Tim pulled her over on her first undercover op. that was hilarious. on so many levels. first of all she leads with "oh flirting! let's flirt! weeee!" despite having like. never flirted on the show before. maybe she's just playing the part? BUT WAIT. THERE'S MORE. Tim is just🧍‍♂️hello? then Lucy starts talking and you can see the wheels turning in his head. "wait is she trying to flirt?" while she's being really kriffing slick she is definitely not flirting i dunno man it's really not coming off right and he's. guys it's so funny. he's trying to play along but he can't tell if he'd rather do that or bust out laughing, but then also she's trying to sneak in some intel and hang on he might need to write that down. amazing. beautiful and awkward and so so dumb I love it

Lucy's feelings fake-out. *wheeze* man she really got me at first. ngl I paused a few times because I needed a break or two from the second-hand embarrassment. Sheesh Lucy I knew you were sentimental but this is a little over the top. AND POOR TIM. Mans was floundering oh my. you can see the panic in his eyes. wonderful acting on Eric's part. the emotion is so blunt and obvious you cannot possibly mistake the fact that he's have a Tim.exe has stopped working moment. LOOK AT HIM. I bet if you pushed his chest he'd make a squeaky toy noise. And then Lucy starts cackling laughing and the whole scene gets five times better in the span of two seconds amazing. bless. This scene was actually special to me because I realized like. woah. actually he does love her. and he realizes too, and I think that's part of why he's panicking so much. As funny or cringey as the scene may be it really is artful because of the way it redefines their relationship. it's the last day of him being her boss, and we've established both that Tim has many kinds of feelings for her while Lucy has just staked her claim on sharing none of them. wow. how do you put a piece of writing like that together? that's some serious skill holy kriff. mad respect for that.

What made you start writing fanfic?

These asks do not always appear on my phone, and it sometimes takes me loading coal into the engine of my laptop and then navigating to tumblr dot com to find them...

I started writing (terrible) fic as a teenager back in my Stargate SG-1 days, because I fell in love with Sam and Jack, and had only recently discovered that you were allowed to imagine scenarios in your head and not just say your prayers when you went to bed at night. (I also had a brief Pokemon phase, but I’m not gonna even bold that one.) That fic all disappeared in a Blue Screen of Death home PC crash back in the day, and I gave up on investing effort into digital files until I had a more reliable backup plan. Despite that, I recently discovered (and discarded, with love) pages of A4 notes I wrote in secondary school that were actually just Harry/Hermione or Sam/Jack fic starters. Love the dedication - in fountain pen, no less! - from teenage me!

After college, cue LiveJournal! And Fringe! And community fic prompts! I loved it so much. I definitely wrote 3 solid fics for Peter and Olivia back then, but I was very at sea in real life, and I didn't keep it up. I uploaded them to AO3 in recent years, and I’m glad they’ve been saved for posterity. That show was very important to me too.

After LiveJournal died/sold out to the Russians, I gave up once again, and didn't even really read fic in any of my following fandoms. But then came The Pandemic, and Lockdowns, and lots and lots of time to rewatch my favourite shows, and my brain decided to fixate on The Rookie and Lucy and Tim. I am not sorry. I was struck with the disease and forced to stay at home and go on my little mental health 2.5km walk loops, and my mind started to suggest that I could write fic again. That I'd done it before. That the brain pictures could meld into a story, and that fic archiving (with the advent of AO3) was a lot more reliable.

So, a few lockdowns later, along came "In the Hole Together", a spec-fic for 422 that was founded on fan-detectivery and paracetamol. And when people actually got interested, I thought this was something I might be able to do.

AND THEN THERE WAS ACTUAL 422.

And "Roots Won't Keep Me Warm" was born.

I've never ever written something so long, so detailed and so intense, and it became a personal challenge as much as a dedication to the readers that were following along. The only two rules I've set for myself since then are 1) Don't try to use song lyrics as titles anymore, Sil, and 2) Always finish a multi-chap.

The way my brain operates, I can only work on one fic at a time, so I never have written WIPs hanging around (though I have many, many head-plots, and some of them are even stored as bullet points in a google doc...). I hope that the one thing I will always do is finish out a fic to its conclusion, as it is absolutely an undertaking I most appreciate in the authors I love.

I had some extra time this (northern) summer (personal reasons) to devote to ChenfordWeek and finish my second Big Long Fic ("Shadows of Deception"), but it hasn't been sustainable since then, and it makes me very, very sad. I have been so harassed and harangued with real life, that I could barely even Do Imaginations for Chenford, and - to be frank - that has been critically depressing. It always has for me, since the days of SG-1.

I love writing fic, and I hope never to turn it into a job rather than a hobby, because that has never worked out well for me in the past. That said, I have you, Ms @queseraone, to thank for getting me to sit down and face the music this Christmas/Winter/Holiday season, and actually write some new Chenford content. And it is h a r d. It is hard to do the thinking and the linking and the typing. It is hard to find the time and the will and the motivation. It is hard to have a plan and then another plan and then discard it all when you actually sit down to type. But I am really happy to be doing it. I really am. 

And I can’t wait for @chenfordsecretsanta to arrive, and to share in the joy of a whole batch of new fics in our little fandom! To have something to look forward to that is closer than February 20th. To have someone believe in me enough to persist in prodding and poking me into committing to this challenge.

3. i loooove pacrim it’s one of my favorite movies/universes ever. if i like a character or a pairing regardless of what the og media source is trust that i will be imagining them in a pacrim au… i’ve been toying with the idea for carmy and richie on and off in the back of my head since way back last year but i actually think it works pretty 1:1 with canon! mikey and richie being lifelong best friends and going into the pilot program together, finding out they’re drift compatible and becoming jaeger pilots together, mikey being kia, carmy always having this pipe dream of becoming a pilot and spending his childhood looking up to mikey and richie and wanting to be just like them but being deterred by something or another. maybe going through the program but because he’s naturally reserved and introverted he thinks he doesn’t have what it takes to be an actual pilot or that he’ll never be drift compatible with someone because he can’t really imagine connecting with anyone in that way. when mikey dies richie’s left in need of a partner but richie is richie so he’s not really compatible with anyone else until they offer to test carmy and lo and behold.. richie balks from it at first obviously because carmy’s just a rookie without any real experience in the field and he and mikey were pretty well established for years (if not just a little unorthodox) and internally half of him is unable to accept the idea of carmy being mikey’s replacement due to his grief and the other half of him is unable to accept carmy being mikey’s replacement due to his protectiveness of carmy (but he doesn’t mention or bring that up ever. i think their dynamics and history in pacrimverse would mirror their histories together in canon, but any genuine good intentions richie has is also probably overshadowed by his anger/resentment and he ends up lashing out a lot at the higher ups and keeping carmy at arm’s length the whole time this is happening. he’s just like.. not coping well. or at all for that matter) cue some very slow burn and mutually tentative bonding and richie always berating carmy for being “just a kid” throughout it and objecting about having him out in the field (not to his face or anything, probably not even with malicious intent or with the purpose of hurting carmy but carmy probably overhears or finds out anyways and resents him for it + feels all that self loathing and ineptitude because he knows he couldn’t live up to mikey either) and richie being given the ultimatum of either having carmy as his partner or being forced to retire but when they’re put in a tight spot they DO go out in the field together. something very dramatic and tragic happens because something dramatic and tragic is always happening in a pacrim au and it seems unlikely that they’ll both make it out and richie is adamant about carmy being the one who lives, still struggles with all that survivor’s guilt over mikey and wouldn’t be able to take going through it again, especially not with carmy. carmy of course is like… kicking and screaming and very much NOT willing to leave him behind and at the same time he’s ANGRY because all this time richie still doesn’t think of him as being capable nor does he trust carmy enough to be able to let him help and for them to go through this together. i don’t think carmy is as concerned as much about whether he lives or dies, or even really if richie lives or dies, i think whatever happens he just wants to see it through alongside richie. he wants richie to trust him, he wants them to be a team, and regardless of what happens to them he wants them to do it together meanwhile richie’s only priority is to ensure carmy walks away from this alive. at all costs.

since this isn’t necessarily a fic plot or anything just how i imagine a pacrim au for them would be like, the endings vary—richie deceives carmy/saves him against his will and has to deal with knowing he’s automatically lost all and whatever tentative trust carmy had in him leading up to this, either richie lives and he and carmy have to start again from the ground up bond wise (maybe they realize they can’t be partners after all and richie would rather retire than have to be put in a position like that again) (lawful evil end) OR carmy eventually forgives him and they work it out and continue being partners (lawful neutral end) OR richie dies and carmy’s left to deal with the survivor’s guilt instead. (neutral evil end)

alternate endings: carmy stays and saves richie instead—also up to you whether he lives or dies but in the event that carmy dies richie has to go through all that mess with mikey all over again and idk if he could like. mentally/emotionally/physically survive that (chaotic evil end) or carmy finally finally convinces richie to trust in him just this once and they combat the evil together and come out of it stronger and closer than ever (lawful good end). also if i’m being honest when i think of this au playing out in my head i surprisingly don’t think of them ever being explicitly romantic but they still have that air of weird unspoken homoerotic tension that they do in s1: richie still devastated and grieving and fighting a battle of internal conflict, carmy still rash and impulsive and oblivious, richie wanting nothing to do with carmy but still unable to stomach the mere notion of putting him at risk, carmy thinking richie is a washed up asshole but still desperately wanting his trust and approval. sometimes the pining is better ngl

With all the testing that has been happening the past two days, and the subsequent social media posting about a certain Mr. Piastri, I have seen so much anti-Oscar rhetoric. Not on here, I don’t think people give a shit enough on Tumblr but certainly on TikTok and Twitter (and by pretty well-known accounts too).

And I get it to a certain extent, you are going to miss Daniel but to say “that seat will always be Daniels” ??!?!?? like girl the team has been around since 1966 (that’s 56 years) I grantee you that in 40 years’ time very few people will remember Daniel in a McLaren. (People will remember him but not for his time with this team). This may be a bit controversial but if you are a fan of Daniel, you will understand that it was better for him to leave McLaren. It was a toxic environment and bad for his mental health (you can be sad about him leaving F1, I am, but it was better for him to get out of that mess.) If you are a McLaren fan, you will realize that while Daniel is a great guy, he has not provided the results and he needed to. And because Oscar is a rookie, he doesn’t cost as much as Daniel. Even if (which he won’t) perform like Daniel has this year, they’ll still be saving around $19,5 million

On top of that, to send hate to Oscar is just simply wrong. It is not his fault that management of both Alpine and McLaren is bad. He has earned his spot fair and square. He DOES NOT deserve fucking death threats all because he is one of the most talented people to come from the junior categories in recent years.

Also, I find it very funny that everyone is crying over Daniel and Lando not being teammates anymore (I’m not laughing at your pain, shame man they did have a very good relationship at the end) but when they started out it was so awkward. Just rewatch the first couple of challenges they did together, Lando was very wary. (Even if we think about all the iconic Dando moments, a very large majority of them happened this year) I personally think they (Lando and Oscar) will either get on really well, as in being salty bitches together or will hate each other. I think it will be different from Lando’s previous teammates because for the first time they will be very similar in age so there won’t be the generational divide he had with Daniel but at the same time he will still have those extra four years’ experience that Oscar doesn’t have. I also think Lando will probably enjoy the power trip of being the “older” more experienced one that Oscar must learn from.

When we look at Lando and Oscar’s relationship next year, we must remember how long it took for him to warm up to Daniel.

I got a bit off topic but essentially what I’m trying to say is that Oscar doesn’t deserve the hate he gets for simply existing. A LOT of people are just hearing that he’s replacing Daniel and then start to blame everything on him. Everything he has achieved so far gets swept under the rug and they just say, “oh well he’s not as funny as Daniel so Lando won’t like him” My siblings in Christ have you seen the man’s old tweets?!?? Even in the Prema videos he’s hilarious. He’s just some random gen-z kid who is so done with life and I, as a fellow gen-z kid done with life, respect this.

What I’m trying to say is that he deserves more than his replies being full of hate and people calling him a traitor and backstabber. He deserves “well done, I’m so proud of you” “Can’t wait to see you in the car next year” Anyways be prepared to be sick of me, because I’m going to post so much Oscar prop next year cuz the man needs all the help he can get.

Clone Wars: Episodes 1-11

Introduction:

Hello there everyone! As I mentioned in my introduction post, this is my first ever time watching the Clone Wars. I’ve spent the last couple of days writing reviews for the episodes, and I decided to share them here for all of you! I hope to do this for every episode so I can document my thoughts as I watch and have something to look back on. I hope you all have fun reading my thoughts and honest reviews.

Episode 1: Ambush

Rating: 5/10

I didn’t understand a lot of this episode, but I loved all the teamwork learned and shown through the clones.

Episode 2: Rising Melevolence

Rating: 5/10

Great episode full of action! Still trying to catch up with the lore a little bit, but this episode made me excited for what’s to come!

Episode 3: Shadow of Malevolence

Rating: 7/10

I loved this episode. It was full of battles and aircraft. The only reason I gave it a seven was because Anakin kept ignoring and dismissing Ashoka. Appreciate her!!!

Episode 4: Destroy Malevolence

Rating: 9/10

C3PO was the highlight of this episode. I love how the Rodger droids get pushed around. Also, the “Hello there,” said by Grieveious was super cool on his own, but if you notice, the next thing said after that greeting is “General Kenobi” (also said by Grievious). I thought that was clever. Although I definetly think that there will be episodes to top this, episode three is defienetly one I’d rewatch.

Episode 5: Rookies

Rating: 8/10

A clone centric episode! This episode was so chaotic and sad at the same time. Heavy scrificing himself was devestating. I love how the clones interact with oneanother. Great episode!

Episode 6: The Downfall of a Droid

Rating: 5/10

This episode was basically Anakin being angry and yelling at people the entire time. I understand where he’s coming from but Anakin needs to chill. R2 is a strong droid; he’s alive. And stop yelling at Goldie!!!

Episode 7: Duel of the Droids

Rating: 9/10

This episode was so fun! I can’t believe that Goldie was a bad guy this entire time! There were some parts that I thought were a little bit boring in this episode, but there were definetly more things that were entertaining rather thant unengageing. I loved the fight between Ashoka and Grievious, and the fight between R2 and Goldie was hilarious. “R2 isn’t just a droid; he’s a friend.” was one of the best things that Anakin has said this entire season.

Episode 8: Bombad Jedi

Rating: 10/10

This episode reminded me of how much I loved Jar Jar as a kid. He’s super funny and oddly resourceful. I loved the different perspectives of this episode. Jar Jar being called a Jedi was funny, C3PO is an icon, and Padme is so sweet to everybody. I also loved the moral of this episode. It just goes to show that “It’s not what you know, it’s who you know. (I also really like the swamp caterpiller slug thing. So cute!)

Episode 9: Cloak of Darkness

Rating: 10/10

I love it when women take initiative. No but seriously this episode was awsome. Ashoka taking the lead, Luminara learning to trust someone younger and less experienced than her, Ventress!!! this episode had it all. I was entertained throughout and had a good time watching this one.

Episode 10: Lair of Grieveous

Rating: 10/10

Kit Fisto! He’s so cool! This episode was awsome. I loved the message, and the fight scenes were top notch. Also I love Grieveous’s medical droid. I was sad when he died.

Episode 11: Dooku Captured

Rating: 10/10

I really liked this episode! You could really see the familial connection between Anakin and Obi Wan in this episode. They bicker all the time but really they’re there for each other to the very end, which was great to see. I also liked all the scenes with Ashoka. She’s got a lot of sass too and helps out whenever is needed, always doing an excellent job in the process.

Conclusion:

I really like this show so far! It’ll be interesting to see how season one develops and references the prequels. Overall, I’m very excited to watch more of this series, and I hope to do more in depth reviews of certain episodes on their own in the future. Thanks for reading!

Today was a really awesome day. My man Brandon is back in Texas again after being in Colorado and Wyoming. We had such an amazing day.

We finished building my planter and then we went to Walmart to buy some seeds and soil and a watering can. Then we filled the planter with the soil and planted a bunch of seeds and watered them.

Then we went out for lunch and ice cream and had a little date. Very cute. And we held hands!!

Then we cuddled on the couch and started rewatching The Rookie together. Then dad made dinner and mother forced us to watch home movies, but it wasn't too bad aside from my naked six year old sister.

Then we played the Wii out in the guest house and cuddled some more. I just love him so much. I can't wait to marry this man and travel around with him. I might even want to have kids with him someday.

But I'll be so sad when he has to go back to Alabama. And bored. I love spending time with him here.
