Star Wars?

So.... I wrote a thing....

It is neither good, nor really properly finished to my satisfaction, but... I dunno, I don't have a good excuse.....

“That little bastard. I’m going to kill him!”

Stiles yelling was not an unknown occurrence in the Stilinski household, but for him to be heard before Noah walked in the door was, in his opinion, unnecessary.

“Scott, do I even want to know?”

“Stiles can't find something. He blames-”

“Isaac. I heard. So did most of the street. Any particular reason for him taking the blame?”

“Nope.” The monosyllabic answer from Derek made Noah think of earlier times, when there was distinctly more glaring. Although, the look on his face right now…

“Scott, do you want to tell me what is actually going on?” Noah leaned on the back of the sofa Derek was sitting on, not breaking eye contact with Scott.

“I don’t know what you mean… sir….”

“Scott.” Noah felt the need to rub his forehead against the headache that was beginning to build. “Scott you haven’t called me sir, I think… ever. What have you done?”

“Nothing! Nothing…bad?” Scott was wincing, but before he could continue, another voice was being heard, as its owner stomped down the stairs.

“..and why does anyone have to be that fucking tall? It’s unacceptable. Thinking he can come in here and mess with my stuff, he is going to be so sorry, him and his precious scarves - oh, Dad, hey…”

“Everything okay, son?”

“No, unsurprisingly, no it’s not. I need to report a theft. We’ve been burgled. And I know who the culprit is, so if you can go arrest him, I would be grateful. Teach him to steal my stuff, little miscreant…”

“Do we have any actual, you know, proof?”

“Well, no, but I know it was him, it always is, and he knows what this means to me, and he knew about tonight, and… He’s done it on purpose!”

“Stiles can’t find his Star Wars DVD’s. Scott had finally agreed to watch them. It is apparently Isaac's fault.” Derek’s monotone got an aggrieved look from Stiles, which only resulted in an eye roll from Derek.

“He took them!”

“Well, evidence is kind of important. Do you have any? Besides just knowing?” Noah couldn’t keep the slight tone of amusement out of his voice, leading to receiving a very flat look from Stiles.

“No. I don’t. But it is just the kind of thing he would do. I hate him, I hate him so much!”

“Okay, so… How about we go and have another look upstairs, and if not we can always watch something else and save this for another night, especially as you wanna do a whole marathon….” Scott’s voice faded out as he ushered a slightly placated Stiles upstairs.

Noah sighed, sitting down on the sofa beside Derek. “Where did he hide them this time?”

“What?” Derek turned to look at Noah.

“Where did Scott hide them this time, he is crap at hiding stuff in this house, which means I have to get inventive.” Noah explained, resignation in his voice.

“It was actually reasonable this time. They’re in the Jeep.” Derek shook his head before continuing, “You know, Scott thinks you don’t know it’s him?”

“Scott is a good kid. But a criminal mastermind he is not. That is what he has Stiles for.”

i hate how people can just easily erase and forget and overlook a platonic relationship that had key importance to the show/movie they're apart of, like people talk about them at first, but when the second a romantic relationship is "more important" to talk about, most of the fandom drops it and forgets it when it's convenient for them because apparently it's not as important as romance 😒

Also I'm really freaking hoping that Malia is just storming away because she's mad that nobody told her and not mad because she's gonna leave Stiles and leave the pack, because that would be all kinds of messed up and make me all kinds of mad.

Really, I'm guessing she's just hurt that nobody told her.

But Stiles, of course, is going to assume that he lost her forever, which sucks for his mental state, ESPECIALLY after everything they just went through.

But I'm sure she'll come back.

She HAS to come back?

...right?

Anyways LET'S TALK ABOUT THE GOOD THINGS AND ALL THOSE AMAZING SAVES!

Order of events, because this time I can do that and STILL END with that AMAZING SCILES MOMENT!!!

Anyways.

Freaking Rafael ex-machina oh my GOD. That man is seriously following his redemption arc full force and as far as I'm concerned, REDEEMED. ALL THE CHECKMARKS! REDEEMED, SIR!! (Also quick aside, Satomi is a f*cking bad*ss. Anyways.)

The way that Stiles was clearly soooo terrified, but used his humor to put up that mask, solely because he would never, EVER betray his friends, no matter what.

But then the way he flinches, just slightly, as "The Chemist" (as IMDb dubs him) is about to hit three...

And okay, between the scene with Malia, and how freaking close to getting shot he really was, and then the GUNSHOT SOUND--

Yeah I was genuinely terrified that Stiles was gonna die, and I KNOW he's in future episodes, but my heart didn't care.

But THANK GOD for Rafael, because THERE HE F*CKING WAS!

And Stiles was shaking, and terrified, and clearly anxious, but he was so quick to recenter himself and focus up and hear and process what Rafael was saying (thank GOD for Melissa with that phone call we love you! <3) and he RAN SO F*CKING FAST TO SAVE HIS FRIENDS!!

AND THEN IT'S THE FREAKING SCILES MOMENTS!!

The way that Stiles books it and just screams and shouts even as he runs, hoping Scott can hear him.

The way Scott is on the other side, trying to get himself to stand up, trying to get himself to hear what Stiles is saying, trying to do what he's asking him.

The way that Stiles just keeps shouting, begging for Scott to answer, banging on the door, and even though Malia's in there, and Kira's in there, the ONLY PERSON that Stiles is thinking about is SCOTT.

The way that Stiles just starts banging and screaming and pushing with EVERYTHING HE HAS because SCOTT'S NOT ANSWERING and STILES ISN'T THERE and he CAN'T GET IN and HIS BEST FRIEND IS DYING and there's NOTHING HE CAN DO.

The way he just collapses to the ground, defeated, thinking he failed, thinking he lost his best friend, thinking it's all his fault.

The way the camera pans to Scott, on the other side of the room, in the EXACT SAME POSITION on the ground, because even when they're separated, they're still in sync, and still together, and still have each other's backs—literally and figuratively.

The way that we get a little bit of Scira with Kira's voice finally bringing Scott out of it and getting him to get up and try.

The way that Scott finally gets enough strength to pull out his TRUE ALPHA powers and use his werewolf sight to find the jar and knock it to the ground and SAVE THEM ALL.

The way Stiles stands up in hopeful surprise when the vault door finally opens, and then he stands there staring at Scott as if he doesn't believe it.

The way Stiles is minutes away from tears, and Scott is minutes away from death, and they just lock eyes and stare at each other, reveling in the fact that they're both OKAY, and they're both ALIVE, and they're both HERE, with EACH OTHER.

The way that Stiles just shakes his head and grabs Scott's shoulder, making sure he's really there, before moving that hand to Scott's face so gently in a "you're okay".

The way that Scott just stares at him, trying so hard to catch his breath, but so clearly grateful that he has Stiles here with him.

The way that Stiles finally shakes his head and almost rolls his eyes at how ridiculous this whole thing is, and how CLOSE they came to losing each other, brushing off the terror and horror in the only way he knows how--with sarcasm and sass.

The way that, when all is said and done, even as Scott's holding on to Kira, when Malia walks away, Scott just looks over at Stiles in the upmost concern, because he realizes that Malia knows, and he KNOWS how much her walking away hurts his best friend.

The way that these two would go to the ends of the earth and back for each other and would destroy anyone and anything they had to for each other I just...

God what an episode.

That is 100% going in the top five, EASILY.

Because that was SUCH an emotional ride, and it all culminated in some amazing Sciles, and I was here for it the WHOLE WAY!! <3 <3

I've been trying to write this in my fic wips but I have tried and failed. Numerous of times. So I'm going to write it as a small observation about parralels that may have been mentioned already, or not.

I've noticed the scene from S5 (routinely pushes this scene down a flight of stairs 🤍), where Stiles literally hits Scott against a wall and throws Scott to the floor in the hospital. I couldn't help but notice how similar this is to the memory where Claudia throws a younger stiles to the ground on the hospital roof back in s3 maybe (correct me)? When they first really talked about Claudia. This was only a vivid memory however. Where Claudia was still alive and suffering with frontotemporal dementia.

Stiles was defenseless against his mom as she shouts in this memory and had pushed Stiles to the ground. She was telling him that he was trying to kill her even when that wasn't true. Stiles was raising his hands to protect his face from her hitting him as Noah tried prying her away from hitting her own son.

And then we have Scott defenseless and severely injured underneath stiles (remember- his chest wound), putting his hands weakly in front of himself when Stiles is yelling down at him. "WHERE WERE YOU." And the adults had to pry him away too.

I'm not a fan of it and I think the writers writing stiles off as not at fault for replicating the behavior was a big 'no no.' Didn't apologize. And this is one of the times where I truly rejected canon because the fight was written... Terribly (without a good resolve, in my opinion, and I'll always say that unfortunately). but I loved spotting this parallel. I hope I worded it coherently.

teen wolf movie is bad for sure but like door’s not closed on stydia being back together in canon, scallison endgame, and derek’s dead so all in all, not a bad outcome 🤷🏼‍♀️

As it's WIP Wednesday....

How do we feel about some Stiles x reader, with several of the rest of the pack, some angst, some banter, and some protective Derek thrown in?

Yes? No?

Here's some draft banter.....

Derek huffed, folding his arms, like always, and gave a pointed look to Scott. Scott appeared to be trying to have a silent conversation with Derek which involved a lot of eyebrows and eye movements, but which seemed to get him nowhere. Now Scott huffed, and approached Stiles like he would a frightened animal. That was definitely not good.

“Stiles. We came to see how you were doing. After, well, everything…” Scott’s tone couldn’t be any more gentle. Stiles flicked his eyes back and forth between Scott and Derek, not knowing what to make of this.

“I’m fine. Like I said, I just need some rest and I’ll be fine. No need for whatever Alpha intervention this is.”

Scott turned back to Derek, his arms outstretched, like he didn’t know what to do next. Derek rolled his eyes, like always, and just said. “Stiles.”

Stiles waited a moment for the rest of that sentence, but none was forthcoming.

“Derek, why do you always have to say my name like it's synonymous with moron?” Stiles folded his arms, matching Derek’s stance, just to piss him off.

“Usually that’s just a happy coincidence. Not today.” The stony silence that followed felt flintier than usual.

“Great. Good. Good talk. Now if you don’t mind, I would quite like you to get the hell out of my apartment.” Stiles tried to usher them towards the door, and while Scott backed up, Stiles walked straight into Derek without him even swaying. The bastard. 

“What. Did. You. Do.” Derek seemed to have turned his glare up to extra special levels while he said this, never mind the whole questions as statements thing he was doing. None of it boded well.

“Scottie, wanna help me out here and get the big guy out of my place?” Scott just shook his head behind Derek. “You know how you’re supposed to be the Alpha, right? Breaks through ash barriers, gets surly werewolves to do as they’re told, leaps tall buildings in a single bound?”

“That’s Superman, dumbass.” At least for Derek that was a whole sentence. Even if he had huffed out the words like they were painful. Still, a pop-culture reference from him? Wonders will never cease.

scott and lydia's friendship is actually everything to me. like grandpa argent threated lydia along with scotts mom and stiles' dad to get in scott's head. aiden flirts with lydia and that's the thing that gets to scott. when stiles isnt around in season 6 they have each other. and i didnt watch the movie but the gifsets of them reuniting are literally so important to me. they went from "the popular girl my best friend has a crush on" and "that guy who has a crush on me's dorky best friend" to lifelong ride or dies
