Aemond waited patiently in the Library. A plate of food and a cup was next to him and a book opened. Another plate was across from him as well as a cup.
The doors pushed open and you came rushing in, starting one of the other maesters. You wore a vibrant violet dress that made Aemonds own violet eye widen. You looked absolutely gorgeous. And the ferronniere really tied it all together.
“Good morrow my prince, I’m sorry I’m late.” You say and pull a chair out and sit down.
“It's alright, and no need for formalities. You called me by my name all yesterday.” Aemond gave you a tiny smirk.
“Yes, but we were around people who don’t particularly care, here in the Keep it is best to keep up appearances.” You lifted your hands onto the table. “Can we eat? I'm hungry.”
“No need to ask, my lady.” You didn’t have to get told twice as you grabbed the biscuit and took a bite. Aemond caught a glimpse of your hand and forearm and he shut the book. “What happened to you?” He pointed at your arms and you looked up at him.
“Oh, I'm alright, it's just me and Thea discovered how much cats don’t enjoy baths.” You laughed nervously.
“Your handmaiden could have done that for you.” He says bluntly.
“It’s alright, I like getting my hands dirty.”
“Hmm. I should get the maester to check them.” He pushes his chair back and you grab his wrist.
“Nonsense, eat first.” He yanked his wrist out of your grip and you drew your hand back.
“It can wait.” He walks past the table.
“No, it can’t, the first meal of the day is very important. Especially for a prince and swordsman such as yourself.” Aemond stopped in his tracks and his jaw tensed.
“They could get infected.”
“I’ve been poisoned before, this is nothing.” Aemond turned around with a shocked look on his face.
“Poisoned?” He sounded intrigued now.
“I can tell you about it if you sit back down and eat with me.” You fluttered your eyelashes at him and he sighed. Aemond made his way back around the table and sat down. He grabbed the grapes and popped two in his mouth. His actions satisfied you and you cut the sausages in pieces. “So when me and Deziel were younger, we snuck into the storage where they keep the poisons because we just wanted to see them, but Deziel being Deziel. He grabs manticore venom and the twat drops it on me. I scream and end up getting cut which lets the venom go into my body.”
“How did your parents react?” You laughed and Aemond dipped his spoon into his oatmeal.
“There was a panic, my body had already weakened by the time they retrieved the antidote. Deziel didn’t see the outside of his room for almost two months, my mother was so angry.” You hunched over in a laugh and Aemond let his face relax and smile. You had such a pretty laugh but then you stopped. Aemond’s eyebrow furrowed in confusion until he remembered.
“I'm sorry.” He says.
“It was a long time ago.”
“And still fresh on your mind.” You huffed and leaned back.
“No need for all this sadness, this is about you so how is your morning so far?” Aemond took a sip of the contents of his cup.
“I trained with Ser Criston and visited Vhagar.”
“I’ve heard stories of how big she is.” Aemond watched a glint in your eye of interest.
“Would you like to see her?” You drew back and your eyes widened.
“I don’t think that's wise.” He finished his last grapes and grabbed his spoon again.
“And why's that, princess? Are you scared?” He looked at you mischievously and you frowned.
“Of course I'm scared, I've never seen a dragon, and what if she knows?” You pouted.
“Knows what?” You sighed.
“That I'm Dornish.” There was a pregnant pause between the two of you. Then you heard it. A tiny little giggle and Aemond’s shoulder moved up and down. You frowned and scoffed. “It's not funny.” Your face burnt in embarrassment.
“What do you think Vhagar would do if she sensed you were Dornish? Eat you?” He asks and you shrug.
“Maybe! Dragons are smart, she fought in two wars against Dorne! My people had killed her own sister in arms.” Aemond kept an amusing look. “You’re mean.” You flicked a blueberry at him, hitting him in the cheek.
“How unladylike of you.” You rolled your eyes. “But at least you know your history.”
“Did you think I was stupid?” You cock your head.
“Not at all, but not many ladies pride themselves on learning these things.”
“Well, there's not much to do on Dorne rather than watch people fight to the death, drink, fuck, and eat. So I have picked up a book and I did pay attention in my classes.” You swirled the contents in your cup and swung a leg over the other.
“Mmm. You should join me for a ride on Vhagar.” Your eyes widened in fear.
“M-Maybe another time.”
“Suit yourself, but I will still send you the proper attire.”
“The riding I know of requires no attire.” You cross your arms and pretend to be annoyed. Aemond let out an airy chuckle.
“In due time princess.”
“Cute. Eat your food Prince Aemond.”
-
Breakfast was long finished. In the time after, Aemond asked you about Dorne. He wanted to know about it from a native's perspective. He also found joy in hearing you talk.
“As you know it's always hot but here?” You laughed. “I actually had to cover up pretty decently last night but the sheets were quite scratchy, I thought there was a manticore crawling on me.”
“You weren’t scared?”
“I know how to extract their venom so they’re really nothing.”
“Is it true you coat your weapons in venom?”
“Mhmm.”
“How do you do that?”
“To collect the venom we use vials and to hold the creature we would hold them with a large set of tweezers and a small set for the actual venom. For a manticore, the small tweezer would hold the stinger of the tail and you would just squeeze. Then we kill whatever it is and eat it.”
Aemond grimaced at that.
“What? They’re good, you should try one.” He chuckles at that.
“I am sure I will be alright without it.” You put your elbow on the table and pointed a finger at him.
“You’re going to try one.” He gave you a mischievous smile.
“I'm not easily persuaded.”
“We will see about that. Is there anything else you would like to know about, my prince?” You ask and the tips of your shows push against his boots.
“No, I'm sure I have enough information to start a book of my own.” He says with amusement and you scoff.
“Hey! You could have asked me to stop at any time.”
“A simple tease, I enjoy hearing your voice.”
“Fancy me already?”
“Is that a crime?” You shook your head and smiled. The edges of Aemond’s mouth curved up and he looked down.
“How do you feel about the night sky?” You leaned forward.
“I think it’s beautiful, when I ride Vhagar at night I try to get as close as possible to the stars.” There was a glint in his eye the second he mentioned Vhagar.
“I have a book about it in my room, come with me?” You asked and stood up. You held a hand out to him and he pushed his chair back. He walked around the table and he grabbed your hand.
-
The walk was short and no words were said between you too, but it was not awkward at all. Comforting even.
You opened your chamber door and you let Aemonds hand go. He checked the hallways and when nobody passed he stepped through the door.
You were already bending over to dig into a drawer. Aemond froze and his eye was trained on your ass. He was thankful he wasn’t like Aegon.
“Here it is.” You hold up the brown book and show it to him.
The Mysteries of the Sky by Maestor Elkin
“He has traveled all over the world, he has even gone to The Wall and he reported on these bright lights in the sky.”  You say when you open the book to one of your saved pages.
“Fascinating.” Aemond stepped next to you, with hands behind his back, and skimmed over the page you were at.
“He doesn’t know exactly what causes them but he does believe it's the work of the gods. Can you believe if the gods do create what's in the sky, that they share their beautiful creations with us?” You wouldn’t see the smile on Aemond’s face as he solely looked at you.
“I do and they might be too generous at times.”
“Hmm, I think they give us what we need.” You looked up at him by tilting your head back slightly with a smile. Aemonds heart started racing and his cheeks dusted pink.
“We should continue this back in the library.” Aemond starts walking towards your door when a white fluff walks in front of him. She passed along his boots and slid down onto her side. He crouched down and gave the cat some scratches making her purr.
“Or your room.” The cat hissed at you, still very mad about the events of earlier. Aemond looked over his shoulder and his eyes were met with the diamond that was pierced into your belly button. What he would do to just run his tongue along it.
Fuck that stupid (beautiful) dress
He stood up to his full height so he could tower over you.
“If someone catches us-.”
“We are a very anticipated betrothal amongst many. I’m sure they will be more happy that we are getting along than mad that we were alone together.” Aemond couldn’t help but agree.
“Follow me.”
-
Aemond pushed the door open to his room and he stepped out of the way for you. You walked in and looked at all his furniture and all the paintings.
“It's like everything I imagined. Dark but beautiful.”
“Hmm.” Aemond grabbed a book off his table and sat down in a chair and kicked his feet up on the small table. “Join me?” You gladly sat in the long chair next to his.
“There is more Targaryen heraldry in your room than the rest of the keep.” The painting of a dragon setting ablaze to what seemed like Harrenhall caught your attention.
“That is what happens when the king grows ill and two devout members of the seven take over.” He cracked open his book.
“How is the king? I have not seen him.”
“Dying, slowly.” Aemond really should have said ‘too slowly’.
“I can’t imagine wh-.”
“Not everyone has a relationship with their father as you do.” He cuts you off quickly. “A good one at least.”
You decided not to push forward.
“What are you reading?”
“Political philosophy.”
“Interesting.” You opened your book and kicked your flats off to lay down on the couch. A silence fell over, it was comfortable to an extent. There was a slight tension but you slowly forgot about it as you got deep into the book and your eyes slowly started to droop.
-
The book clattering on your chest made Aemond direct his attention to you. Book pages were folded on your chest. One hand on your chest and the other dangling. Your head was turned to the side and eyes shut. Aemond chuckled and stood up to a chest that held blankets. He grabbed the softest one and grabbed the book from your chest. It closed on the material of the dress and when he pulled it, the bottom of your breasts exposed themselves.
“Fuck.” He turned away and his cock made a sudden throbbing sensation. Gods, he was acting like a boy again, the mere sight of a woman's body making him hard. He closed his eye and tried to think of anything else.
He tossed the book on the table turned around and quickly splayed the blanket over your body. Aemond sat back in his chair and the material around his crotch down. Reading should make it go down.
-
You slept until the sun was almost gone. Aemond had finished a couple of chapters and did whatever else he needed to do.
You sat up straight and rubbed your eyes. Aemond shifting caught your attention and you looked back.
“Sorry.” You mumbled and swung your legs so your feet touched the floor.
“Don’t apologize, you’re still tired from your trip. I should be the one apologizing for taking you out so quickly.”
You yawned and stretched, a breeze hitting your nipples suddenly made you very aware that they had slipped out and Aemond had not taken his eyes off them.
“If you wanted to see them, all you had to do was ask.” You teased tiredly and Aemond looked down at his now closed book. “I should get back, me and my brothers are going to see a play in the cities.”
“Then I will see you later, princess.” You stood up and did a curtsy. Aemond frowned at your action but relaxed when you giggled. He even let himself laugh. He did this cute thing where when he laughed his head would shake slightly.
“I hope we continue these meetings, I think something good can come of this.” You say walking toward the door and Aemond stands up to open the door for you.
“I agree, I hope you enjoy the play.” He opens the door and you reach up to kiss his cheek. His face turned pink with affection.
“See you tomorrow Aemond.”
You did not

CHAPTER 2
TW!: child death / miscarriage / blood
⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘⫘
Blood. The sheets are covered in blood and so are my legs but I can’t get up. I’m in a strangers bed, five months pregnant and there’s a pool of blood around me. All I had done was agreed to let Roland take me home and sleep in a warm apartment for the first time in days and now my baby was gone. Was it because I betrayed Steven? Is this what I deserved? How would Roland, a man I barely knew and trusted on a whim, react to finding my bloody body lying next to him? I knew I should cry for my now dead child but instead all I could think about was the ruined sheets. I must be in shock but those damn sheets…he would have to burn them and I would have to buy him new ones and I barely had enough money to eat.
Roland began to stir on the other side of the bed and I forced myself to sit up and fall out of the bed. The falling part was an accident but what did it matter? Baby was dead and I deserved to be in pain.
“SALEM WHAT HAPPENED?!” Roland yelled in horror when he discovered the pool of blood next to him. At that point I was gone, so fucking gone.
“I-I’m so sorry Roland, I’ll buy you new sheets. I’ll clean it up and then leave. I’m so so so sorry.” Sorry, that’s all I could say, overs and over again. The sheets. I felt so bad about the sheets. And I felt like such and idiot for messing them up. And the mattress was probably ruined by now too. I would have to buy him another mattress which would be far more expensive than the sheets.
Roland jumped up and instantly wrapped his arms around me trying to get me to calm down and explain what happened.
“I-I think I had a miscarriage.” It was the first time I had said that vile word out load since I had woken up and dipped my fingers into my daughters blood.
“I’m so sorry Roland I feel like this is just some awful nightmare. I’m so sorry about the bed.” I again turned to see the messy sheets.
“Don’t you dare apologize. I don’t care about these sheets. This isn’t your fault. I’m here with you every step of the way.” Roland hugged me in a way that felt so genuine. A sort of warm hug I had never felt but had dreamed of since I was a young girl.
Roland had introduced himself and sat down beside me in the library. I felt so nervous being next to such a pretty man that I almost forgot to tell him my name.
“Oh I’m Salem.” I giggled nervously.
“Come here often Salem?” Roland rested his hand on his cheek and smiled at me. His deep brown eyes seemed to shine with the reflection of myself staring back at him. I felt so unattractive and yet I wanted him so bad. I had always jumped into the arms of any man that would have me and that’s probably how I ended up pregnant and homeless. But then as I began to talk to Roland I noticed a faint blush beginning to get redder on his cheeks. He was wearing the cutest sweater with a scarf and a long overcoat that made him look like a cute little schoolboy.
I explained most of my situation to him and the crazy thing was, he actually sat and listened to every word of it. He didn’t interrupt or tell me I got what I deserved, he just sat and nodded and occasionally gave me words of encouragement.
After several hours of rambling on about my miserable childhood, my poor taste in men and my current state of having no where to stay, Roland suggested that I stay at least one night in his apartment since he “couldn’t bare the thought of letting a young girl in your condition sleep on the street again tonight.” He promised that he had no ill intentions and I felt that his eyes seemed to reflect his honesty. So I walked with him, arms full of books, to my car where he drove me to his apartment. The whole night was spent laughing and eating a tray of left over lasagna that Roland had made. Never once had he tried to touch me or even so much as kiss me. He just hugged me cautiously goodnight as I climbed in his bed next to him.
That was when I was happy. But now I sat on his bedroom floor crying hysterically.
“I-I’m sorry Roland I barely know you and I just…I don’t know what to do” I sobbed. He gently placed his hand on my shoulder and brushed some hair away from my face.
“Please don’t apologize. We’re going to get through this together.” I looked down at my stomach and felt like vomiting. My thoughts were starting to become clearer and my mind turned its attention away from the bloody sheets I had been desperately grasping on to and now to the thoughts of the little baby I had lost. For months now I had been dreaming of holding her for the first time and playing with her as she happily waved her little fingers in the air.
“Shhh, it’s okay,” I whisper softly. “Just let it out. Let all the sadness and pain come out. Cry as much as you need to.” His words seemed to mix together with the loud voices in my head screaming at me.
“I’m going to take you to the doctor okay.” He said and gently picked me up. I was a mess, blood stained clothes and legs that felt disgusting. I felt like a murderer. I did this to my daughter and anyway she deserved better.
The doctor only told me what I already knew and so I spent the car ride back to Roland’s apartment feeling numb. I should call Steven, the voices in my head kept whispering. He deserves to know that his daughter is dead. But did he even care? I had likely lost the baby due to stress and lack of nourishment. Maybe if Steven hadn’t kicked me out I wouldn’t have been stressed or starving. Maybe if I had been with a better man I wouldn’t have been in this situation.
Roland stopped at the library so I could call Steven. After a few rings he picked up.
“Hello?” He said in that rough voice that had once given me butterflies.
“Steven? It’s me Salem.” I chocked back a sob.
“Didnt I tell you to never speak to me or show your face her again you fucking whore.” I couldn’t hold back, I let out a strangled sob as Steven continued to list all of the reasons as to why I was the problem and how I ruined his life.
“Steven….I had a miscarriage.” I said despite the fact that he was still talking. He couldn’t hit me here. The distance and the fact that Roland was sitting in his car waiting for me made me feel safe.
“Good riddance to you and that kid, would’ve turned out just as ugly and probably twice the slut you are.” He then slammed the phone down on the receiver and the line went silent.
It was over. Steven had made it clear that he didn’t want me. And now I was not only single I was also no longer pregnant. I slowly walked back to Roland’s car and tried not to start crying.
“You okay?” He asked cautiously.
“N-no”, I wiped away the tears that were forming, “he doesn’t want anything to do with me.”
“I hate to say it Salem, but isn’t that a good thing? You can start over now.” I looked at him and he weakly smiled back at me.
“I guess.” I whispered.
“Tell you what”, Roland said in his deep English accent, “me and you could be roommates and I’ll help you find a job.” I knew he was trying to help me and that I couldn’t just sit around and pity myself all day so I agreed.
As he drove out of the parking lot I whispered, “I was going to name her Mia.”

“number eight! this is serious! if you do not train properly you will not be allowed to join your siblings on missions.”
“number eight! that’s not how you behave!”
“no, number eight! how many times must you do this before you get it right?”
“no! not like that, number eight! you must be quicker, smarter, stronger! you’ll be a liability”
“no! again, number eight!”
“number eight!”
“number eight!”
she wished it was stop. the yelling. the shouting. the insults. the pain. the training. all of it. her head hurt. she could feel the anger swirling around, growing. control. she needed control. relax.
she took a deep breath. again. again. she pushed herself over and over until she collapsed. she worked herself to the bone only to always be left with disapproving stares. the scowl. the glare. and then she was alone, forced to pick up the broken pieces and put herself together. she didn’t have her other siblings. their family dynamic wasn’t much of a family dynamic but just once she wished one of them could be there. even just to see what she was going through. it hurt that she was alone. she hated alone.
--------------------------------------------------
“um..” luther slowly stood, unsure. “i guess we should get this started” he looked around at his siblings sitting in parlour. they all sat separately with klaus making drinks at the bar in the back.
“are we having a family meeting?” y/n stepped into the room, confused. she paused as realisation crossed over their faces. “..you forgot me”
“sorry, y/n, we didn’t mean-” allison started, trying to defend them. y/n shook her head.
“no, no, don’t apologise. it’s okay.. let’s just get this over with” she waved off any concern, taking a seat beside vanya. in her lap sat a familiar book.
--------------------------------------------------
“you’ll be okay” ben spoke softly, gently bandaging y/n’s arm. he gave her a small smile. the pair sat in the back of the library, secluded and separate. the others were too wrapped up in themselves to care.
vanya stepped over a moment later. she frowned at the tears on y/n’s cheeks. taking a seat beside her she offered them the cookies she had stolen from the kitchen. they weren’t meant to have any until dessert but ben and vanya found this much more important. y/n sniffled, taking the cookie in her good arm.
“thanks v” she gave a watery smile, eating a big bite of the cookie to stop the sobs about to escape her mouth. ben and vanya shared a frown over her head.
“should we read something?” ben offered, pulling a random book off the shelf behind him. y/n merely nodded, she needed this to calm down her raging emotions. these two were the only two who understood. if her emotions went haywire so would her powers.
“hm, little women? i didn’t think dad would have this” ben smiled at the cover.
“pogo got it for me” y/n murmured softly, listening to her brother’s soothing voice as he read. she smiled, they were always able to calm her down.
--------------------------------------------------
“so, i figured we could have some sort of memorial service in the courtyard at sundown, say a few words” luther started again, “just at dad’s favourite spot”
“dad had a favourite spot?” allison asked, confused.
“yeah, you know. under the oak tree” luther nodded, eyebrows furrowing. “we used to sit out there all the time.. did none of you ever do that?”
“will there be refreshments? tea, scones” klaus interrupted, walking to join them with a cigarette between his fingers and a glass of alcohol in his other hand. “cucumber sandwiches are always a winner” he waltzed over beside y/n who smiled at his laid-back attitude.
“what? no” luther shook his head, “and put that out, you know dad didn’t allow smoking in here”
“is that my skirt?” allison questioned, looking down at klaus’ attire.
“what?” he mumbled distracted. he put his glass down before turning around. “oh, yeah, this. i found it in your room. it’s a little dated but its very breathy on the.. bits” he gestured.
“listen up” luther put on his leader voice, commanding as usual. “there’s still some things we need to discuss, alright?”
“like what?” diego snapped, obviously sick of this.
“like the way he died”
“and here we go” diego rolled his eyes and luther glared at him.
“i don’t understand.. i thought they said it was a heart attack?” vanya spoke up, confused. klaus plopped down onto the couch now, wrapping his arm around y/n.
“what? he had a heart attack?” y/n’s eyebrows furrowed, she hadn’t been told that. they all looked at her, surprised.
“you didn’t know?” allison asked softly,
“no? you did?”
“that’s only according to the coroner” luther chipped in, still pushing his theory.
“well, wouldn’t they know?” vanya raised an eyebrow.
“theoretically”
“theoretically?” allison asked.
“look, i’m just saying at the very least something happened. the last time that i talked to dad he sounded strange”
“oh, tell us please” klaus gurgled through his drink, not at all serious. y/n would have laughed if she didn’t see the real reason luther was bringing this up. he thought one of them did it.
“strange how?” allison continued to push, incredulous.
“he sounded on edge, told me i should be careful who to trust” luther frantically tried to convince them.
“luther” diego sighed, standing “he was a paranoid, bitter old man. he was starting to lose what was left of his marbles”
“no” he quickly shook his head, turning to him. “he must have known something was going to happen. look” he looked over at klaus. “i know you don’t like to do it but i need you to talk to dad”
klaus rolled around, disagreeing, “i can’t just call dad in the afterlife and be like dad can you stop playing tennis with hitler for a moment and take a quick call” he waved his cigarette around, sitting up and letting go of y/n.
“since when? that’s your thing”
“i’m not in the right frame of mind!”
“you’re high?” allison looked up,
“yeah, yeah!” klaus laughed, nodding his head, “i mean how are not listening to this nonsense?”
“well, sober up, this is important” klaus merely sighed, “then there’s the issue of the missing monocle”
diego scoffed, “who’s give a shit about a stupid monocle?”
“exactly, it’s worthless” luther was only digging himself a bigger hole, “so, whoever took it i think it was personal. someone close to him, someone with a grudge”
“yes, cause that’s all we need” y/n rolled her eyes, exasperated “more grudges”
“where are you going with this?” klaus narrowed his eyes, confused.
“well, isn’t it obvious, klaus?” diego sneered up at luther, “he thinks one of us killed dad”
luther opened his mouth to deny it but nothing came out. it was true.
“and i bet your top suspect is little y/n” diego pointed a finger right at the said girl. she froze.
“what?”
“you do!” klaus sat back, shocked.
“how could you think that?” vanya stared in disbelief.
y/n stood abruptly and everyone watched as her eyes turned black. the same way they used to when she had trouble controlling her emotions. they watched as she quickly shook her head, storming out.
“great job luther” diego mocked, “way to lead” then he begun to walk away.
“that’s not what i’m saying” he tried to defend himself but nobody listened.
“you’re crazy man, you’re crazy.. crazy” klaus stood too, picking up his drink. vanya went to walk away, following diego.
“i’m not finished” luther attempted to stop them.
“okay well sorry, i’m just gonna go help y/n murder mom, i’ll be right back” he commented sarcastically, walking away.
“that’s not what i’m saying-” it was no use.
y/n curled up beside ben’s statue, book pressed against her chest. she took deep breaths, trying to regain control. her breath came out shaky as she rocked slowly. eventually she relaxed, leaning into the side of the statue. her cheek pressed against the cold concrete. with a final sigh she looked up at him.
“hey..” she spoke softly, “i brought our book” she gave a weak chuckle, showing the statue the book she had been cradling.
“i finished again.. should i start again?”
diego stood in the doorway, watching her talk. he frowned, she was so sweet. it wasn’t her fault she was born with such a horrible curse. he understood why she got along so well with ben, they both hated their powers. it made training unbearable for them. she begun to read aloud, still leaning into the statue as she sat on the gravel covered floor. with a sigh he walked away, she would be okay, she just needed time.
time didn’t heal y/n, no matter how much she wished it would. she didn’t have anybody, everybody left her. she had to get over everything all by herself. her words started to come out stuttered, her voice cracked. slowly she begun to sob, tears wetting the pages of her book. she wiped them from her face, standing up. she had to be calm.
she spared one last glance at the statue before walking away.
--------------------------------------------------
“number eight, you must always keep your emotions in check” reginald scolded, glancing up from his notebook. he scribbled something else, ignoring her watery eyes.
“b-but i can’t” she sobbed out, she was young. her siblings were allowed to show emotion why couldn’t she?
“then you are weak!” reginald snapped his book shut, raising his eyes to glare at her. the words shouldn’t have hurt as much as they did. she was never enough, she was always going to be weak. she needed to do better, to be better. to be strong.
--
“emotions, number eight” the girl supressed her smile at the name her mother had just given her. he wouldn’t even use it. her face fell blank.
“emotions, number eight” the girl took a deep breath, no anger. nothing. you cannot feel. she closed her eyes for a moment, controlling her urge to destroy something. she opened them to see a confused diego. this wasn’t how she was meant to react, he had stolen the ring her mother had given her. she just walked away.
“emotions, number eight” she caught ben’s eye across the table. he nodded softly. she breathed calmly, no dessert. she was weak, she didn’t deserve dessert. five frowned from beside her, looking between her and their father. something was wrong.
“emotions, number eight” reginald turned on her. she stood, hands gripping the table until her knuckles turned pale. how could he let five go? as she raised her head she heard gasps from her siblings. pogo and reginald shared a look as she glared at the latter, taking a moment to calm herself. it wasn’t working. she was struggling to keep her emotions at bay, she couldn’t supress them. “y/n..” vanya whispered as she ran from the table. she couldn’t do it. he was gone and she hadn’t stopped him.
“emotions, number eight” she couldn’t do it. not this time. she shook her head. her eyes filled with tears. she couldn’t. “number eight! emotions!” she shook her head again, all she could feel was pain. it was her fault. she let him die. her siblings must hate her. her father hates her. ben would hate her. she let him die. she watched him die.
“number eight! your emotions!” reginald’s voice got louder and she heard herself scream. everything was crumbling. he was gone, it was her fault. “number one, do it”
it was all.. her fault..
--------------------------------------------------
on her way to the staircase she paused. her eyes lingered on the painting. five’s painting. she felt herself move without wanting to. she stepped into the room, looking up at her brother sadly.
“i’m sorry” she frowned, “i’m so sorry, five. i shouldn’t have let you go. i should have gone after you. i’m sorry, you must be so alone and i lied. i’m sorry for lying.. i should have done better, i should have listened to dad.. i couldn’t bring you back and it’s all my fault. it’s always my fault.. i’m sorry five, i’m so sorry..”
“sweetie?” she looked over to see grace. “who are you apologising to? did something happen to you?” the blonde robot walked over, glancing over her to see if she had hurt herself.
“oh, no, it’s okay mom” she smiled fakely, trying to reassure her mother. “i was just thinking out loud. nothing to worry about”
“oh, alright, sweetie” she smiled again, “how about something to eat?”
“i’m okay, thanks. i think i’m just going to rest” grace nodded, allowing her to leave.
she wouldn’t be okay, not until she could stop blaming herself. she took one last look at five' picture before she closed her eyes, trying to stop her tears. when she opened them she appeared in her bedroom. she quickly shut the door, locking it. at least in here she couldn’t do anymore damage.
--------------------------------------------------
“number eight” reginald’s voice was disappointed but y/n couldn’t find it in herself to care. so what if she was a failure, she had always been one anyways. “you are no longer allowed to go on missions with your siblings”
she didn’t raise her head. he wasn’t done. this is what she deserved. “you will instead be working on locating number five”
she froze, staring up at him in shock.
“what?”
--------------------------------------------------
a flash of blue light outside her window broke her out of her thoughts. she stood from her bed, glancing down at the courtyard. it couldn’t be..

Just saw the movie "Freaky" and thought "How would slashers react if they one day wake up with their body swapped with their S/o?". Bonus if the reaction is all chaotic 😂
A/N: Here you go, sorry it took so long. I get to update a lot this week despite working still but it’s because my shifts are short but I get to talk with my manager on Wednesday about going full-time because I need the money. Anyways, hope you enjoy!
Warnings: None, slight NSFW on the last section with Michael and Vincent
word count: 1.1k Tip Jar (every bit helps!)
Tumblr media
Would try to remain calm:
Jason Voorhees: When he first opened his eyes and saw himself laying next to him, he was beyond confused. “(Y/N)?!” He’d say, shocking himself once more when he realizes that he can speak, but that it isn’t his voice, it’s yours. He watches as his body moves, slowly waking up and looking very confused as well. “We have to fix this,” he says once more through your body, watching as you tried to speak but only garbled phrases came out.
“It’s alright, we can think of something! I’ll fix this I promise!” He continued, looking down at your body and immediately grabbing the covers in remembrance of the night before. Jason had never been more mortified in his life, but he did his best to remain calm and figure out how to get you back to normal.
Norman Bates: It was when he passed the mirror to the bathroom that he realized something wasn’t right. Moving back, he took in your figure staring back at him and he blinked before turning to wake you up. “I don’t know how to fix this but I’m going to try everything,” he informed you, watching as you froze in your spot, at the realization. Everything felt wrong, as though it was a violation of privacy.
“Please hurry, we have dinner plans with my parents tonight, remember?” You replied, your voice not your own but the tone the same. Norman nodded, leaning towards you and pressing a kiss to your head before taking off downstairs.
Thomas Hewitt: With how much larger he is, he woke up knowing that something wasn’t right. However, he didn’t think it would be this bad. “(Y/N), please wake up,” he said, his voice a lot higher pitched that his usual deep baritone one. He watched through your eyes as his massive body next to him moved a bit before slowly waking. “I don’t know how this happened,” he said, watching as you sat up quickly, looking down at his hands that you now possessed.
“Get me out of your meat suit, Thomas. This feels very wrong,” you replied with your heart hammering in your chest. Nodding, Thomas did his best to maneuver around the house but it was a lot harder to do when he was now half the size he usually is.
Would have a full on panic attack:
Bo Sinclair: He nearly falls off the bed in a frenzy when he realizes that his conscious is in your body. He’s too busy freaking out that he doesn’t take the time to think about the breasts he now possesses; something he usually enjoys profusely. “Wake up! Wake up, we need to fix this now!” He panics, flying around the room, practically knocking stuff over as he gets used to how your body moves.
You watch as he falls, scraping your knee and cutting it, much to your dismay. “Stop, Bo,” you snap at him, approaching your fallen body on the floor, “Before you hurt me even more.” It takes a while for him to become calm, but by that time, you’ve already figured out how to turn back.
Brahms Heelshire: You wake up to the feeling of Brahms shaking you violently, although when you open your eyes, you only see yourself. “Please tell me you know what happened?” He panics, pacing around the room in your nightgown, biting your nails to which you shout at him for. “I can’t be stuck like this! I need my body back!” He tugs at your strands of hair, watching as you look down at your body that was covered in dark hair.
“You really need to shave,” you say, only making Brahms freak out even more. He makes his way downstairs and to the library, hoping to find a book on body switching or something to at least aid in the return of his conscious to his body.
Bubba Sawyer: “(Y/N), please wake up! Something’s happened!” You can hear your own voice shouting at you as you blink back sleep and sit up in bed. You look to your side and see yourself sitting there with tears falling from your eyes.
“Bubba?” You ask, the voice coming out was your lover’s and you watched as your head nodded. “Don’t cry, we’ll fix this,” you say, reaching out and pulling him close, feeling him sob. By the way he was shaking in your arms, you knew you needed to do something quick; he wouldn’t be able to last all day like this.
Charles Lee Ray: “No, no! No, no, no, no, (Y/N), wake up!” You groaned in bed at your lover’s shouts of terror as he looked in the mirror to see your face staring back at him. “Wake up! This is am emergency!” He panicked, running back into the room and throwing the covers off your body.
“What the fuck, Charl-” you gasped when you spoke, hearing your lover’s voice instead of your own and seeing your body standing at the foot of the bed. “What did you do? I told you not to mess with that voodoo stuff!” You shout, starting a full blown argument that only makes the both of you panic even more.
Would immediately act perverted:
Michael Myers: You wake up to the feeling of something happening down below and when you open your eyes to see the giant bulge under the covers, you freak out. Your scream is what made Michael, who was in your body, jump up and look around. “Get me out of here!” You shouted at him, getting out of bed and trying to calm yourself down. Michael only chuckled at your panicked state, using this as a great time to explore the female body on another level. “Stop touching my boobs, what are you doing?” You snapped.
“I think this is the perfect time to see what a female orgasm feels like,” he said, your voice coming out in soft sounds as he used your body to his own pleasure. You really began to panic when the thing between his legs jumped at the sounds he was making you make.
Vincent Sinclair: “So this is what it’s like to have a penis,” you say, looking under the covers to the unclad bulge between your lovers legs. Vincent was still laying in bed next to you, wearing your body, but you both decided that it would be best to try something fun with this once in a lifetime opportunity. “Can I touch it?” You asked, looking to your body which Vincent was already playing with.
“Do whatever you want. Today’s, fair game - just don’t shave me,” he said in your voice, moving one of your hands down between your legs and sucking in a breath at the feeling.

part i ; part ii
the next few days after you left jaemin all alone in the school’s library, you couldn’t help but feel bad for him.
you weren’t supposed to feel guilty, after all, that’s what you usually did; hookup with guys you found attractive and then never reach out for them again, pretending to not know them. and you have never had a problem with it before, you never got attached and they were aware of your reputation, so they knew what they were getting into.
but for some reason, jaemin was… different.
you weren’t really sure why, but something about him just made you feel things, things you have never felt with anyone else. you have never felt so good with any of the guys you had hooked up with. and by that, you didn’t only mean how good his touch felt on you, but also the sweet way he reacted to your loving pet names and caresses.
your heartless attitude only earned you what you had never thought you, a self-proclaimed cold-hearted bad girl would ever experience.
heartbreak.
now, jaemin tried everything to avoid you. he got out of his way so you wouldn’t bump into each other, leaving class as fast as humanly possible just so you wouldn’t be able to approach him.  though he doubted you would ever get near him again, so he was actually doing you a favour, right?
after all, why else would you have left the way you did after your little rendezvous?
every time you happened to be in a room he had just stepped into, he turned around and left without giving you a second glance, face expressionless. but even when he tried to act tough in front of everyone else, you could see the pain in his eyes and it was slowly killing you.
truth is, you felt like a complete jerk.
scratch that, you knew you were.
but how could you comprehend the effect your actions had on jaemin if you didn’t even care?
as he had realized when you decided to walk away from him that awful day in the library, he meant nothing to you. and even though it hurt him to no end, that’s how life is.
cruel.
his friends knew something had happened to him. they could see how the usual spark in jaemin’s eyes was completely gone after you two got together to work on your genetics project. he usually kept to himself, which wasn’t really out of the ordinary coming from him, but lately he barely talked, only answering with monosyllables. he stopped taking part in their conversations, not even intervening when renjun and donghyuck’s bickering got out of hand.
“hey, nana, are you coming to chenle’s place later today? we’ll probably stay over and play games in his huge ass tv.” jeno’s cheerful voice made jaemin look up from his untouched lunch. he just nodded slightly before looking back down to his food.
he didn’t feel like talking or hanging out with anyone, but noticing the worried expression that had replaced jeno’s usual bright smile, he tried to put on his best smile. “sure,” he tried to reassure him. jeno didn’t seem so convinced, though he didn’t say anything about it.
his friends also noticed how he seemed to disappear whenever you were nearby, which confirmed their suspicions of something happening between you two. he usually took his time to get ready for his next class and was fairly organized, but from that day on, he didn’t even try, throwing all his belongings inside his back before rushing out of the door.
they were determined to find out what had happened with you to make jaemin stop being his usual self. the only problem was, how were they going to get it out of him?
~.~.~.~
“hyuck, go open the door, it must be jaemin.” jaemin could hear renjun’s voice yell from somewhere inside the house.
“ugh, you’re so annoying,” donghyuck rolled his eyes as he opened the door before going back upstairs to what he assumed was chenle’s room.
“dang, not even a hello,” shaking his head in disapproval, jaemin made his way inside, closing the door after himself.
noise –or more like screams– could be heard coming from upstairs as his friends were most likely already playing some game. he walked towards the kitchen where he found renjun and jeno preparing sandwiches and other snacks for all of them. when they saw jaemin walking in, they stopped what they were doing to look at him.
“hey, you came,” renjun smiled, happy to see his friend coming out of his newfound shell. just like the other guys, he was concerned about his sudden change of demeanor. he honestly missed his presence and dumb comments. not that he would ever tell him, though.
“can you help us with the drinks please?” jeno asked, hands full of snacks.
jaemin just nodded his head before taking six cups to fill with any drink he could find in chenle’s fridge. after they had emptied half of the cabinets, the three boys made their way to his friend’s bedroom in silence.
none of them knew what to say, or more like how to say it. renjun and jeno were dying to ask jaemin what was going on, why did he decide to stop hanging out as much with them, if they were right about you being involved in whatever happened. and jaemin could tell. he wasn’t blind to not notice the weird looks they constantly threw at each other, the way they quieted down every time he approached them. but he didn’t want to admit the mistake he had made. he couldn’t look them in the face after spoiling all their efforts to prevent this very situation from happening.
what would they think of him?
he was supposed to be the cautious one of them all, the one who wouldn’t get fooled so easily, the responsible one. but even if he knew for a fact you didn’t have good intentions, he still let himself fall and ended up hurt. how could he take care of his friends if he couldn’t even take care of himself.
“what took you so long?” jisung asked once they made it to their destination, snatching a few bags of chips from renjun’s arms.
“next time you’ll go get food, then,” the older boy clicked his tongue in annoyance, going to sit next to chenle on the bed.
nobody was surprised when jaemin sat by himself in a corner of the room, quietly staring at the floor. he didn’t even try to take part in their conversations, just nodding from time to time to assure them he was still listening. no one knew how to approach the situation, so chenle, tired of the weird ambiance the group of boys had been engulfed in for some time now, decided to take the initiative.
“what’s going on, jaemin? why can’t you tell us?” jaemin felt cold, mouth ajar in shock. he wasn’t expecting the topic to be brought up so soon and neither chenle to be the first one to confront him about it. “don’t even try to deny something’s up, we’re not dumb.”
“we want to help you, but we can’t do anything if you don’t trust us enough to tell us.”
and in that moment, jaemin finally broke.
“i fucked up,” his voice cracked, tears welling in his eyes, making his vision blurry.
“what? what do you mean?” donghyuck intervened. he wasn’t one to usually show concern but seeing his friend so distressed made his heart hurt.
“i hooked up with y/n that day we were supposed to work on our project.”
“we t-.”
“i know, alright! i know it was a mistake and i shouldn’t have let it happen, but now i don’t know what to do,” jaemin thought that venting to someone else about what happened would maybe make him feel better, but it didn’t, if something it actually made him feel worse. he was sure his friends though he was the biggest idiot in the whole world.
“shh, it’s okay, come here,” jeno opened his arms for jaemin, so the broken boy hugged him tightly, hiding the pained expression on his face in the elder’s shoulder.
“i don’t get it, how did this all happen?” a confused jisung asked, not understanding how the hell a simple project in pairs ended up in a hookup.
“i told her to meet me at the library so we wouldn’t be alone. i thought nothing could happen because there would be a lot of people around us, but things didn’t work out the way i thought they would,” and as jaemin told them the whole story, they couldn’t help but pity their friend.
“i thought maybe this time it would be different, you know? she talked to me as if she cared about me,” the dry chuckle he let out made the boys feel uneasy, “and i believed it.”
none of them doubted jaemin had at least a crush on you. yeah, sure, what you did was certainly not nice, but you weren’t together in any way. And that’s how hookups work, right? you fuck and then you leave. no feelings attached.
right?
“so you like her?” renjun asked, although it sounded more like a statement.
“i think i do.”
~.~.~.~
as much anxiety the thought of having to face you again sparked in jaemin, you both still needed to finish the project and you only had two days left. even if he didn’t feel ready to talk to you yet –though he doubted he would ever be–, he had to man up for the sake of his grades.
seeing as his strategy of working on it in a crowded place didn’t work, there wasn’t another option but to section the project and get it done each on its own.
so that’s what he intended when he waited for you in your locker, practicing his next move over and over again. the only thought in his head was getting out of the situation as soon as he could to avoid any kind of unnecessary interaction.
he was scared of his heart controlling his body and his actions rather than his head, as it would inevitably end in him falling for you once again and only more pain. it would be the perfect formula for yet another heartbreak.
and you were completely shocked when you saw him standing next to your locker, apparently waiting for you.
“you can finish the first half, i’ll do what’s left,” his eyes stayed trained on the floor as he spoke. he didn’t want to give you the satisfaction of seeing him so affected, so as soon as the words left his mouth, he was on his way, trying to flee the scene before you could react.
“jaemin, wait!” he stopped dead in his tracks, not bothering to turn around and look at you. “look, i-i’m really sor-.”
but he didn’t stay to hear the end of it.
he walked away just like you had done not even a week ago.
feeling a lump in your throat that made it harder for you to breathe, your heart shattered into tiny pieces you didn’t care to pick up as you stood frozen in place.
but yours wasn’t the only heart broken.
jaemin walked home with a heavy heart, eyes stinging from tears that threatened to run down his cheeks. his friends had warned him and yet there he was, sulking over you.
he felt like a fool. how could he have fallen into your trap? he knew the type of girl you were; a heartbreaker, a player, the bad girl. but either way, his heart betrayed him, pumping furiously whenever you smiled at him, whenever you got close enough for him to inhale your sweet perfume and feel your minty breath fan over his face.
anger boiled in his veins, why did you have to play with him like that? what did he ever do wrong to deserve it? he had never bothered you, always staying in his lane and out of your way. he didn’t like confrontations so he stayed away from them, and being near you always included some kind of trouble.
but what hurt him the most was that he actually believed your sweet words, soft touches and loving kisses meant something. that he was stupid enough to think they meant the same to you as to him.
as you watched his figure disappear in the distance, you realized you had fucked up big time and you weren’t sure there was any way you could fix it.
~.~.~.~
the very next day you found yourself walking as fast as your legs allowed you around the campus to find jaemin. you probably looked like you had gone crazy to everyone you walked past, hair messy and tired face. you pulled an all-nighter the night before, determined to finish your part of the project. you really weren’t that interested in your grade. actually, your only motivation was finding an excuse to talk to him.
half an hour later, you still hadn’t been able to find jaemin. you were utterly and completely frustrated, it felt like you had just wasted your time. but just as you were about to give up on your search, you found him.
he was walking down the hallway towards the opposite direction and away from you. you could only see the back of his head, but you could tell he wasn’t looking ahead but at the floor, like he had been doing ever since that day. your feet started moving on their own, directing you to him.
“jaemin, please, listen to me,” your fingers wrapped themselves around his wrist in an attempt to make him stay. he didn’t want to turn around, he didn’t want to see you or be anywhere near you.
the memory of you leaving the library after using him for your own pleasure hunted him. it may sound dramatic, but jaemin was tired of the pain you brought him. he hated the way your voice still made him feel all giddy and warm inside, he wanted to forget you for good and go on with his life as it was before.
“why should i?”
“because i want to apologize, just hear me out for a second,” you pleaded, not being able to find one good reason for him to stay.
“why would you even be sorry, anyway? you’ve never cared about others, why now and why me?” a bitter, full of hurt chuckle left his lips, eyes rolling in irony. his words felt like a punch to the stomach, the cold tone of his voice making your heart crack.
he was right, you had never cared about anyone else but yourself.
the cold-hearted behaviour jaemin witnessed in that library was what got you your infamous reputation at school; you did whatever you needed to do without looking back to see how it affected others.
that’s why it hurt so much now that you also cared about him.
“because you’re different,” you whispered, eyes closed in distress and white knuckles from how hard you were clenching your fists.
“w-what do you mean? stop playing around, i’m tired of getting hurt.”
“jaemin,” your expression softened, voice coming out in a sigh and helping him relax a little. “i’m not playing with you,” you took a deep breath before proceeding to spill your guts.
“i know i made a huge mistake acting the way i did, and when i say i’m sorry i really, truly mean it. i’m aware that the wound has already been done, but it makes my heart feel heavy to see you avoiding me. it’s selfish, i know, but i don’t want you to be away from me. i-i’m not sure what these feelings are or where they came from, the only thing i know is that i don’t want them to go away.”
what in the world was happening?
“i think i like you, na jaemin.”
“you like… m-me?” confusion was written all over his face, he couldn’t tell if you were being honest or not.
“yes, i like you, and if you’d give me a second opportunity i promise i’d make it worth it.”
and as much pain you had been causing him for the last few days, he couldn’t contain the butterflies that erupted in the pit of his stomach when he saw the sincerity your eyes held.
his body moved without him realizing, walking towards you until he could smell your sweet scent. you didn’t back down, staying still with eyes locked in his even when you were sure he could hear the crazy beating of your heart. you hoped he believed you, but even if he didn’t, you were determined to prove it to him, regardless of the price.
a surprised gasp fell from your lips when he leaned in with eyes closed, lips locking in a mind-blowing kiss. he tasted the same as last time, but the moment felt different. this kiss was less rushed, filled with strong feelings that you hoped were reciprocated.
had he accepted your apology and was willing to take you back after all you had done?
“does this mea-,” you broke away from the kiss to ask, but he cut you off quickly before going back to attack your mouth.
“i like you too,” your heart felt like it was about to explode, something you had never felt before.
your arms snaked around his neck as his hands positioned themselves on the small of your back, both trying to bring the other closer. your fingers went to his soft, fluffy hair to tug on it and jaemin groaned into your mouth.
for a moment, both of you forgot you were still in school’s grounds and anyone walking to their locker or next class could find you, but at that moment, nothing mattered.
his body felt like it was on fire, the burn almost addictive as he unconsciously pressed his hips into yours, letting you feel his growing boner. he was so into the kiss he didn’t notice at first how his body was reacting to your closeness, your scent filling his senses and plump lips moving against his. but when you responded with a roll of your hips, he gasped in surprise.
“come on, baby,” his heart pumped harder as you intertwined your fingers with his and dragged him to the teacher’s bathroom. after making sure no one was nearby, you got in and locked yourselves inside. you didn’t waste any time smashing your lips together, the kiss eventually turning rougher and full of lust.
when jaemin’s back touched the wall, he broke away from the kiss to regain his breath.
he wasn’t a resentful person, but he was determined to give you a taste of your own medicine. you were going to regret what you had done.
oh, sweet revenge.
the tables turned as he pushed you against the wall, pressing his body flush into yours. a surprised moan left your lips, hands going to his chest in a failed attempt of pushing him away and re-establishing your dominance.
“no, it’s my turn,” the new found confidence that was taking over his body made jaemin feel great. you were wordless because of the sudden change of attitude so he took the opportunity to pin both of your wrists above your head with only one of his hands and with the other, he grabbed your thigh and lifted it, holding it to his hip. with a roll of his hips, his hard cock grinded against your clothed core in such a way your legs almost buckled.
“look at you now, where did the mean girl attitude go?”
you could only moan, already feeling your damp panties stick to your folds uncomfortably, and he smirked at your lack of response. you wanted nothing more than for him to fuck you and now knew how desperate jaemin must have felt that day at the library with all your teasing.
“what do you want? tell me baby,” when you tried to free yourself from his grip, he tsked, only tightening it more. “i’m not letting you go, so stop being a brat. i asked you a question, tell me what you want.”
jaemin was enjoying every single second of having you so under his control. you had pegged him as someone who liked being dominated, but apparently you were wrong. by the looks of it, he was having the time of his life, not even caring about how long it's been since everything started, engraving in his brain every sound you made and the way your face contorted in pleasure when he pressed himself against you. he didn’t care about his reputation anymore either, after ruining you just the way you had done with him he would have had enough to make it worth it.
“i want to see you,” your hands twitched in his grip, fingers wanting nothing more than to tug on his shirt and undress him. last time you didn’t get to see him due to being in a public space, but now, locked inside the teacher’s bathroom, you could finally see him in his full glory. jaemin would normally feel shy about showing his body to someone else, especially a girl, but he couldn’t let his whole confident facade fall down, so he set you free, “unbutton it then, babygirl.”
you worked on unbuttoning his shirt as fast as you could and pussy clenched around nothing when you saw his toned abdomen and chest. he was stunning. your hands trailed down his body, caressing the soft skin, drinking in all the little details. in return, jaemin lifted yours above your chest to have easy access to your breasts. the hand that was previously holding you still now came to knead your soft boobs, groaning at the way your hips bucked against his cock.
“fuck me,” you managed to let out in a whimper.
“uhm, is that what you want?” you shook your head ‘yes’ as soon as the question came out of his mouth, eager to feel him inside once again. “then beg for it.”
you weren’t used to being the one to beg and as much as you hated following orders, you were willing to swallow your dignity if it meant he was going to touch you just how you needed.
“please, jaemin,” he shook his head, not satisfied by your response, “i’m so wet and it’s all just for you, i need you to fuck me, please” you felt your face heat up in embarrassment but you opted to ignore it. he hummed, letting go of your leg for a moment to slide your panties off your body and pull down his pants before gripping your thigh once again.
“your wish is my command,” you giggled at his cute antics, but the laughter soon got stuck in your throat when he slid his cock inside you. your eyes closed, head falling to the crook of his neck and hands gripping his biceps to hold yourself up, as jaemin groaned. you felt as tight as he could remember, but he still couldn’t get used to it. his legs trembled slightly as your walls squeezed around him, “f-fuck, still so tight.”
“move, please,” the stretch felt nice, but you needed more. and so he did as he was told, starting to slowly buck his hips into you before eventually building up a steady pace.
you felt so full with him snuggled deep inside of you, reaching places you didn’t know he could with the new position. his hips angled so he could hit your g-spot with every thrust, loud moans leaving your lips.
“if you keep being loud we’ll get caught baby,” his teeth nibbled on the skin of your neck, mouth sucking softly as to not leave marks, “or maybe that’s what you want? for someone to catch us fucking in school property?” your moans got louder so jaemin put his hand over your lips to shush you.
“uhm, that’d make so much more sense as to why you suddenly decided to risk my reputation and fuck me in the library where anybody could have seen us just with a turn of their heads.” his words came out so bluntly your eyes widened, body convulsing against his and high getting closer.
“f-faster, please, fuck me faster,” he obliged, lifting your skirt so it hung just above your waist to uncover your lower half. his hips snapped rougher than before as his thumb played with your sensitive clit, pressing harshly and circling furiously on it.
“oh my god, jaemin!” your eyes rolled to the back of your head, mouth falling open as muffled moans fell from your lips. jaemin’s pace got sloppy as your walls clamped down on him. he was finding it hard to move, both from the strong grip of your pussy and his nearing orgasm.
“that’s it, baby, come for me,” and with a particular flick of his fingers you were cumming hard, juices running down the inside of your thighs. jaemin fucked you through your orgasm and followed soon after, thick cum filling you up nicely. heavy pants could be heard all over the room, fogging the bathroom’s mirror.
after your breathing had evened, he pulled out and dropped your leg to let you stand up comfortably. neither of you made an effort to move away from the other, eyes staying locked in the other’s, sharing a last kiss before fixing your clothes as best as you could in the shortest period of time you could manage. you were most likely already running late for class so you didn’t have time to lose.
noticing the only piece of clothing you were missing were your panties, you started searching everywhere for it. you couldn’t get caught or else you would be in big trouble. two teenagers spending a considerable amount of time locked together in the teacher’s bathroom without the supervision of any adult wouldn’t look good to anyone.
at some point you began panicking, you couldn’t just leave your underwear in there, somebody was going to find it and you both would be fucked. for real this time.
“jaemin, have you seen my pant-.”
“your what?” you hadn’t noticed the big ass smirk jaemin was carrying as he looked at you, enjoying your misery. “my panties,” but that wasn’t the only thing you noticed, you could see the pink cloth hanging from his finger.
“give them back,” you pouted cutely, making jaemin smile teasingly. “nope, now they’re mine,” he shoved the piece of clothing inside his pocket and left you to deal with his cum dripping down your legs by yourself.
“but it’s leaking, i can’t go out like this.”
you probably sounded like a whiny child throwing a tantrum, but you really needed your underwear back or else you wouldn’t be able to keep it all in.
“you can and you will, sweetie,” jaemin smirked, taking your hand in his before opening the bathroom door to leave. you didn’t want to leave like that, so you leaned your whole weight back so he wouldn’t be able to pull you with him, but he managed. with a hard tug on your hand, he forced you out of the room and into his back.
just as you were mumbling about how strong he was, a voice made you both freeze in your spots.
“did you guys just leave the teacher’s bathroom? what the heck?” donghyuck gasped, mouth agape in shock. he couldn’t believe what his eyes were seeing; na jaemin and y/l y/n, school’s good boy and bad girl, walking out of the teacher’s bathroom hand in hand. jaemin’s eyes opened wide in panic. someone –or more like the worst person who could have found you– caught you in a very compromising situation. the erratic beating of his heart made his body feel numb, cheeks flushing a deep tone of red.
he noticed jaemin’s messy hair, blushing cheeks and not properly buttoned shirt as well as your untucked one and skirt way too high up your legs that revealed a fair portion of your thighs.
and then it clicked.
donghyuck’s own eyes shot open as he connected the dots.
“oh my fucking god, you fucked in there.”

Aged 14, sometime in September.
Mason Anderson was the biggest dick she had ever met. He was petty and jealous and he picked on her just because. She just wanted peace, quietly resolving  the homework she had spent an entire week working on. The library was empty, safe for a couple of other students when he barged in and robbed her of her papers.
He claimed he needed it more than her, he was the one almost flunking out of the class. She demanded her homework back, but he ran towards the boy’s bathroom with her work. It wasn’t the first time that sullen feeling of despair had been planted on her by Mason Anderson, it still didn’t make it any easier.
She sat in front of the boys bathroom, hugging her knees in an attempt to find comfort. She kept thinking that she could do it again, she had done it once, theoretically it would be faster to do it a second time. Light footsteps echoed through the hall, her eyes found their way to the source of the noise.
Jason Todd was a tiny kid with a big brain and an even bigger heart. He had helped her with English more times than she cared to admit. Sometimes she would see him walking towards the alley near the Academy, holding an extra package of chips to the little kid that stayed there sometimes. She liked Jason Todd, considering him the only alley she had inside the cold walls of the Gotham Academy.
“What’re you doing here?” he asked, delicately, sitting beside her. “I thought you were gonna finish Statam’s paper today.”
“Mason Anderson stole it,” her eyes were cast downwards, looking at the seams of the floor with an almost inhuman interest. “He wanted to copy it, and I wouldn’t let him so he decided to flush down the toilet instead.”
“I’m sorry,” he muttered to her, sitting next to her on the floor.
“It’s okay,” she shook her head, stretching her legs in front of her. “I just,” she sighed, trying to find the words, “I spent one week working on that, and I really needed the grade, you know? But he just didn’t care, he just thought of himself.”
Jason looked at her, softly. His eyes held a certain fire behind them, something she could never really describe what it was. It was entrancing, it calmed the pace of her heart.  He didn’t say anything before getting up and marching towards the boys bathroom.
She didn’t hear anything going on inside, her mind imagining all sorts of scenarios where Jason would emerge from the bathroom beaten and defeated, Mason walking out completely victorious, with a shiny top grade Literature paper in hand. Her blood boiled at the image, more so than it did before. She got up from the ground, determined to help Jason win the fight, even if her papers were already down the plumbing.
But the door flung open, her friend walking out calmly, clutching her homework delicately. He offered her a smile, and as the door closed behind Jason she could see Mason on the ground gripping his nose in pain.
“Here,” the papers were completely dry to the touch, her confusion deepening. “He was copyin’ it.”
“I can’t believe you got this back,” she whispered, shaking her head in disbelief. “I thought… I thought I'd have to redo it.”
“Nah,” he smiled shyly, “I would’ve helped ya.”
“I can’t really depend on you for everything, Jason,” she replied politely. “It’s not fair.”
“I got your back,” he affirmed, “ya don’t need to worry.”
And it meant the world to her that he did.

Aged 16, October 12th.
Jason Todd and her became friends after the Mason Anderson incident. She didn’t know what Jason had said to him, what had he done, all she knew was that Mason never bothered her again after that.
It was the night of her 16th birthday. It was late, probably past 3 in the morning when Jason carefully landed on the fire escape that led to her bedroom. He carefully carried a small box, wrapped neatly with a blue bow. He had chosen the gift lovingly, his heart warm with her. Jason hadn’t expected her to be such an integral part of his life, but just as quietly as she arrived, she placed herself in his heart permanently. She was his friend, true friend, she didn’t expect anything other than his company and support, something he was glad to provide.
His knuckles lightly grazed her window, making the softest noise.  Her shades were partially open, he could see her body lying comfortably on her bed. She moved slightly, her body turning towards the window. Her hands rubbed her eyes delicately, seeing Jason smile awkwardly at her. She got up and dragged her feet towards him, opening her window to him.
“What’re you doing here?” her voice was slurred, intoxicated with sleep.
“You know, you should really lock your windows,” he commented, “Gotham’s a dangerous city.”
“Jay,” she warned, “what’re you doing here? It’s…”she searched for her clock, “fuck, 3 in the morning.”
“It’s your birthday,” he responded clearly, as if it was the most obvious reason why he was on her fire escape, on a cold October night only wearing a light jacket.
She blinked at his blunt response, confused on what to say to him. “You’ll see me tomorrow, Jay, I don’t understand why’d you come all this way just to see me.”
“Because it’s you,” he shrugged, stepping into her bedroom silently. “You really thought I wouldn’t see you on your birthday?”
“I don’t know,” she whispered, looking down at her feet. A soft breeze came in through the window sending shivers down her spine. Jason closed the window for her and she sent a silent thank you towards his way. “I thought you wouldn’t bother.”
“Well,” he extended the little box to her. Her fingers brushed on his softly, a shock sent on his skin at the touch, “I couldn’t not see you.”
Her hands hugged the box carefully, hesitant on what to do with what was given to her. “Open it,” he urged her.
She eyed him suspiciously, undoing carefully the blue bow that decorated the gift. Opening the box, a tiny robin pendant next to two tiny stones pendants, an opal and an onyx: her birthstone and his. “Wow,” she breathed out, her heart racing inside her chest. Suddenly, she didn’t feel sleepy anymore. “Jason, this is… You didn’t have to.”
“Of course I had,” he stated, his eyes soft and loving, lingering on her more than they should. “You mean a lot to me, darling.”
Her eyes glinted underneath the pale moonlight streaming through the half closed curtains of her room. Jason’s breath hitched quietly at the sight of her, disheveled and sleepy and yet the most perfect person to grace his life. She was at a loss for words for a few moments, opening and closing her mouth, not knowing how to react. Her eyes trailed frenetically over the pendants, trying to find meaning in those.
“Why a robin?” the inquiry startled Jason. He wasn’t expecting to explain himself, much less explain why he had given her a robin pendant. She had no clue what he did when the night fell, who Bruce actually was and he intended to keep her in the dark about that aspect of his life. She didn’t need to know anyway, and telling her would only put her in danger. That was what Bruce made her believe.
“It reminded me of you,” he answered, simply, his eyes fixated on her angelic face.
It wasn’t untrue. Robins were friendly and protected over, birds that should never be harmed. Jason made sure of that, he had her back, always, and he knew she had his. But mostly, he wanted her to have a piece of him everywhere she went. If something were to happen, he wanted to guarantee he wouldn’t be a footnote in her life. What a magnificent life that would be, he knew.
Her eyes ran on his face, looking for a hint that he wasn’t sincere, that he was just messing with her. The thought was more heartbreaking than she anticipated. She found nothing malicious in his face, in his eyes, and smiled back at him. “Thank you, Jay,” she kissed his cheek delicately, her lips barely brushing his skin. It was enough to send both of them into a frenzy of feelings, a thousand thoughts running through their heads.
“Here,” he extended his hands, his eyes clear and full of emotion for her, “I’ll put it on for you.”
She handed him the box, turning around so he could clasp the hook of the necklace. Jason was considerably smaller than her - she guessed it was because of the years of malnutrition he endured when he lived on the streets - so she sat on her bed to meet his height. His fingers brushed slightly at the back of her neck, sending goosebumps on her body.
It was when she turned to look at him again that she realized that maybe Jason wasn’t just a friend to her. Maybe the interest she had in Jason, or how her heart raced when she saw him for the first time in the day weren’t because he was her friend. Maybe it was because she had decided to love him with all her soul.

Aged 16, April 28th.
It was ironic how sunny it was in Gotham that day. It was like nothing had happened, the world hadn’t gotten the memo that it was supposed to be gloomy and sad outside, to match the pain she felt inside.
On the deep green grass of Gotham cemetery, stood her and Jason’s family, listening to a priest preach something meaningless to her. Nothing mattered to her anymore, her friend, best friend, was buried deep into the earth, 6 feet under. She would never get to see him again, hear his laugh, take in his smile. She would never have another birthday with him, give him his favorite books, tell him she loved him. Her eyes were fixed on the fresh dirt lain over his shiny coffin, her hand fidgeting on the robin pendant Jason had gifted mer  months before. It wasn’t an open casket, she couldn’t even see him for the last time.
The call was the most confusing moment she had ever gone through. He didn't even tell her he was going after his mom. He didn’t even get to explain that to her. Jason just burst through her window late at night, saying he was leaving Gotham for a few weeks, anger seeping through his pores and contaminating the room. His knuckles were badly bruised, as her fingertips lightly brushed he hissed. She didn’t question him, it didn’t even go through her head. He had said he wanted to find a part of him, and she nodded, wishing him luck.
Looking back, she wished she had begged him to stay, to find that part of him in Gotham, with her away from the perils of foreign bombs. Tears sprouted in her eyes as the thought passed through her head. It wasn’t her fault, she couldn’t predict a tragedy would have happened. It had become a mantra to her, and sometimes repeating it to herself didn’t help at all.
Bruce Wayne stood next to her, stoic, his face stony. It almost didn’t look like he had lost a son. But she saw how his jaw tensed, how it was similar to when Jason was upset and didn’t want to tell her about it. She could see how broken he was inside, how angry and desperate. She felt that too.
The priest stopped talking and the four people standing on that lawn let out a stuck breath of relief. Jason’s brother approached his Father, walking away from her. She stared at the stone, cold like Jason’s body, with the engrave ‘Jason Todd, beloved son and friend’. It didn’t make justice to what Jason actually was, he was much more than just a son and a friend, but it was what they used to describe him. If Jason had decided what his epitaph would be, surely would be a dramatic quote from Shakespeare.
Her name was called out in a posh british accent and she turned toward the person. What she saw was an older gentleman, holding a black umbrella to protect his baldness from the sun. A thin mustache hung over his upper lip, molded into a sad frown. “I’m Alfred Pennyworth. Master Jason talked a lot about you,” he commented with his left hand behind his back.
“All good things, I hope?” she joked quietly, her eyes trailed to her black shoes, wet grass glued to the sides of it.
“The best things, I assure,” his voice was firm and calm, his accent oozed her security, something she was eager to cling on. He reached for the inner pocket of his blazer, pulling a crisp white card. She furrowed her eyebrows, accepting the card. On it, it had Alfred’s name, his profession underneath and a phone number. “If you ever find yourself needing anything, I’ll be happy to help.”
She nodded, her thumb lightly brushing the expensive paper on her hand. “Thank you Mister Pennyworth,” her eyes found the old man, the wrinkles around it making his stern stance seem gentler. “Thank you.”
“Would you like to come over for some tea?” he offered. “I’m sure Master Bruce wouldn’t mind having his son’s friend over.”
She wanted to, a force inside her compelled her to accept his offer. But her heart was broken, and she didn’t know if she was ready to enter what used to be Jason’s home so fast after he was buried. At the same time, maybe she didn’t have the nerve to say no to such a kind person. “I--,” she hesitated, “okay, I’ll have some tea.”

Aged 18, mid-August.
“I don’t know what to do, Alfred,” her hands fiddling with the necklace Jason had given her long ago. “It feels like I’m at a crossroads and every sign points to the direction my heart doesn’t want to go.”
The old butler poured her mint tea - her favorite, as he had learned over the weekly visits she paid him - calmly and firmly as she ranted. “What is holding you back?”
She looked at Alfred, her eyes confused at the question. She hadn’t lingered on the fact of why she didn’t want to accept the scholarship on Metropolis. Her brain told her it was only logical, she would miss her parents, her weekly meeting with Alfred, her hometown. But Alfred was always one step ahead, he had a sixth sense as she had come to learn. “You know,” she replied softly, her eyes lingering on the beautiful teacup in front of her.
He said her name, getting her attention. “Master Jason isn’t here anymore,” he stated simply, laying cookies on her plate, “you don’t have to stay behind for him.”
“I know,” she picked up the spoon and twirled it between her fingers. “But,” she hesitated, not knowing how to phrase her feelings, “Alfred, I can’t even think of it. I can’t wrap my brain around leaving him.”
“You are not leaving him,” his voice was calm and gentle, softening her panic. “You are moving on.”
She shook her head, her eyes shut close tightly. “It doesn’t feel like it,” she whispered, “I feel like I’m meant to be here, Alfred. I can’t really explain it.”
“Well, if you do decide to stay in Gotham, I hope we can continue our weekly teas,” Alfred said, a tone of hope in his voice.
She smiled at him, her eyes filled with kindness. “If I do decide to stay, I’d love to keep our weekly teas,” her smile stayed as she uttered the words. “I appreciate our time together, Alfred.”
“I’m honored,” he said to her, bringing the teacup to his lips.
Heavy footsteps sounded behind her and she turned around to see who it was. Turning around, her hand bringing the teacup to her lips, she saw a disheveled Bruce Wayne walking towards her. His eyes were barely opened, prominent bags under his eyes cast a shadow on his features. His tie hung untied on his neck, his shirt over his pants, the sleeves folded up to his elbows. It was a stark contrast from the Bruce Wayne she had seen at Jason's funeral, two years back, the one she saw frequently splattered on the news front pages.
“Oh,” he stopped on his tracks, his hands falling limply to his sides. His jaw tensed and, suddenly, a mask fell on his face, the vulnerability he displayed a few seconds before gone. He wasn’t anymore Bruce, a guy who had just woken up and wanted something from the kitchen of his oversized home, he was the Bruce Wayne, now. The velocity of the transformation haunted her. “I didn’t realize we had visitors.”
She rested the teacup pack on the counter, and got up from the stool. “I’m so sorry Mr. Wayne,” she muttered, extending her hand, introducing herself. “I am, was, Jason’s friend.”
“Yes, yes,” he nodded, “I remember you.”
Alfred looked pointenly at Bruce as pulled a mug from a cabinet. He poured coffee for himself, and leaned against the counter next to Alfred. She stood there next to her stool, paralyzed in his presence. Everytime she was present in Wayne Manor, Bruce was either too busy to ever grace them with his presence, or away on some business trip she never bothered to ask what for. “We have weekly teas, Master Bruce,” Alfred said, his tone laced with something deeper than announcing their weekly traditions.
Bruce’s jaw tightened somehow and his blue eyes rested on her. Her eyes drifted to her teacup, her tea getting cold. She was itching to grab it and drink it, but she felt uncomfortable even moving a inch from her place, much less feeling the liberty to resume her previous behavior. “Really?” his eyebrows shot up, his head tilting slightly. “Please, seat, pretend I’m not here.”
She hesitated before sitting back down. Her hands hugged her teacup, the warmth of it seeping through her skin. It was hard to pretend he was not there next to her, looking at her with judging eyes. She wondered if he remembered her from the funeral, if he had thought of her when he was thinking of Jason’s legacy, what his son had left behind. Her eyes looked up at Bruce before quickly darting back down to her tea, “Yeah, I don’t really wanna go to Metropolis,” she whispered, resuming her previous conversation with Alfred. The air in the kitchen was tense and awkward, she couldn’t look any of them men in the room in the eyes.
“I’m certain Gotham U will admit you,” Alfred reassured her, “You’re a brilliant person, they’d be fools to let you go.”
“Thank you, Alfred,” her eyes were focused on the tea, like it was the most important thing in that kitchen. “They usually don’t take this long to send the letters, it’s making me nervous.”
“Gotham U, huh?” Bruce chipped in. “What’s your major?”
She looked expantly at Alfred, trying to see if he knew any of Bruce’s intentions. But she often forgot how impassive Alfred was, how in control of his emotions he was, something she lacked. He didn’t show her anything, she assumed he knew of something, like usually. “Applied physics,” she responded, quietly.
“Wow,” Bruce breathed out, “impressive.”
She offered him an awkward smile in return. It was hard to find a response to the reaction of others when they became aware of her major. It was highly uncommon, and usually those who followed that path were men. When people discovered what she wanted to do with her life, they almost always reacted like they had found an unicorn.
“Well, when you do graduate, look for me, I can help you get a job,” Bruce politely offered, his tone kind. She looked up at him for the first time, his expression almost fatherly.
“Thank you Mr. Wayne, that’s very kind of you,” she bored her head, looking down at her tea once again.
His phone rang, and he picked it up from his pocket. Her eyes trailed over to his expression, his jaw once again tense. “You’re welcome,” he replied, feigning happiness and comfort. “If you’ll excuse me,” he left the kitchen in broad steps, his shoulders tense and determined.
That was the first time she came to the conclusion that Bruce Wayne was a strange man.

Aged 22, end of May.
College was an excruciating experience, but finally she had left it all behind. With her diploma in hands, she finally felt a small semblance of freedom, something she had longed when isinde the four walls of her old dorm in Gotham U.
She stepped into the ground floor of Wayne towers, her shoes clicking nervously on the floor. She had made sure to dress properly to meet Bruce Wayne, unsure of what he’d think if she showed up dressed like a broke college student, something that she very much was. It was the mentality of fake it till you make it, aim a bit higher and maybe you’ll get there. She desperately wished she’d get there.
One of the receptionists let her in, indicating the floor in which she should go to. Her hands sweat gripping the folder with her recommendations and her resume, she gulped looking at the elevator intently. Her free hand found its way to the tiny robin gently resting on her neck. She wished Jason was there to help her, give her tips on what to say to his Father to make him glad, and what to avoid doing so that he’d hire her. She could imagine him if she closed her eyes, next to her, barely taller than her, smiling at her wishing her good luck. The elevator dinged, bringing her back to reality. Jason wasn’t next to her, and she didn’t have anyone to give her tips on what to say to her potential boss. She was alone, just like she had been for six long years.
In spite of the hundred floors of the building - quite literally - the elevator ride was fast. When the doors opened, it revealed a small greeting room, with a couple of couches and a tall window illuminating it. She eyed directly in front of her, the double doors with a tiny plaque with the name Bruce Wayne engraved on it. Her eyes lingered on it for a couple of moments, as she walked towards the lonesome couch next to the big window. She took a deep breath, trying to calm the beating heart. She wondered if Bruce was already inside the room, if he remembered what he had offered to her all those years ago, or if he had just been polite and did not plan on following with it at all.
After that strange meeting with him four years back, she had barely seen him again. A couple of times she had seen a shadow passing through the corridors while she was heading out of the Manor, someone she assumed for the sake of her mental health it was Bruce Wayne and not a ghost. The notion that he was a strange man only intensified, adding the perception that he was hiding something. She knew he was a good actor, but she could see tiny cracks and slips, an ability gained from years of loneliness. It was hard to say what it was that he was keeping a secret from everyone, but there was something there.
Her name was called and she saw Bruce Wayne standing underneath the frame of the double doors that lead to his office. She got up promptly and walked towards him, her grip on her folder tight. His hand was extended and she shook it professionally, pretending like she wasn’t panicking inside.
“I have someone I’d like for you to meet,” he stated, guiding her inside his office. The office was probably four times bigger than the small room she had stayed previously, the large windows providing a beautiful view from Gotham. You could almost pretend it was a normal city looking out from that window. “This,”  he motioned to the man sitting on a cozy nook in the back of the room, “is Lucius Fox.”
The man was big and well built, his round glasses standing on the tip of his nose. He smiled at her, crinkles forming beside his eyes. His hand found his glasses, taking them off and putting them in his pocket. “Nice to meet you, Miss. mr. Wayne has talked a lot about you,” he stated, his hand extended for her to take it.
She looked back at Bruce, confused. After all, he remembered her and he remembered his offer. She turned back to Lucius and shook his hand, a determined expression on her face. “Nice to meet you, Mr. Fox.”
“Lucius Fox is the head of our R&D department, and has agreed to take you as his personal apprentice,” Bruce explained.
Shock overcame her, her eyes wide. She looked between Lucius’ kind smile and Bruce’s stoic stance, unable to believe the opportunity was real. “Really?” she uttered incredulously.
“I have some personal projects and I’d very much need the help,” Lucius explained, calmly. “Mr. Wayne has talked highly of you, I’m eager to see what you’re capable of doing.”
“I--,” she shook her head, trying to get rid of the hesitation, “thank you, sir.”
“You’re welcome,” Bruce responded, a small smile gracing his lips. “I’m sure you’ll do great.”

Aged 24, April 26th.
The humid air of the cave made sweat drip down her face as she tinkered away with a broken gadget she had designed for Bruce’s night time activities, as she had so dearly called it.
It was a new development, the cave and the capes and the vigilantism. The two years she invested working with Lucius all served a greater purpose to Bruce. She was to be the next Lucius Fox, help provide Batman, or rather Bruce - in her head it was still confusing to assume that the guy who had given her a job was the ‘Dark Knight’ - with gadgets capable of doing everything that his physical capabilities couldn’t. Lucius was old and reaching retirement, and even if he loved his job, he was reaching his limit. She was beyond grateful for his guidance, she had learned so much. But he had left her a fucking weird job. There was no other way to describe it.
The cave was quiet, Bruce had left sometime before, she could only hear Alfred quietly talking to Bruce through the comms and the drip-drip of water falling from the ceiling and hitting the small lake underneath her. She had settled in a little abandoned nook, her tools all scattered on top of her table. She rested the screw driver she was working with on the table, lifting the magnifying lens. She rubbed her face, tired of looking towards the tiny malfunctioning screen.
Her hands remained on her face, concealing her emotions. The robin pendant always felt especially heavy on the 26th of April. It had been 8 years since she had seen Jason, and as pathetic as it sounded, she never really got over the loss of him. They always felt particularly lost, she couldn’t focus on anything other than him, running circles around any problem presented to her. Looking at the gadget, it felt nearly impossible to find a solution to it, her mind foggy with sadness and grief that she could never really shake off, even with years between her and the day he had died.
The knowledge that Bruce kept everything as Jason had left, and even made a little homage to his Robin days in a secret corner of the cave, hidden from view, was heavy in her heart. She struggled to keep her eyes trailed to her task and not at the memory of Jason. She took a sharp breath, trying desperately to sew herself together. It was truly pathetic how much it still affected her, how open the wound still was.
A sharp motor sound echoed through the walls of the cave, disturbing the few bats that hung from the ceiling. A guy built like a fucking brick wall parked his bike on the platform, taking long strides towards where Alfred stood. He adorned a cracked red helmet that glistened in the white lights that illuminated the pathway. His heavy footsteps echoed through, her eyes unable to escape from him. She approached silently, praying that that loose panel near the little stairs that lead to the main computer wouldn’t scratch underneath her weight.
“Where the fuck is Bruce?” he growled, his hands balled into fists next to him. His leather jacket was worn and old, its sleeves bunched up near his elbow, exposing his veiny forearms. The cracked part of the helmet revealed his blue eyes, sparkling in a familiar way. It tugged her heartstrings, her hand instinctively went to her robin. It couldn’t be, Jason was dead.
“He’s on patrol, Master Jason,” Alfred said calmly, his eyes trailed to the screens in front of him. Alfred acted like this man’s fits of anger were completely normal.
Her brain repeated that it wasn’t Jason, it was a mere coincidence that this man’s name was the same as her dead best friend’s. Jason was a tiny and scrawny kid, he wasn’t tall and thick like this man. Jason wasn’t bitter and prone to anger fits, even if he was angry most of the time. He was silent and kind and sweet, this man looked to be the opposite of it.
“He promised, Alfred, where is he?” he growled, his fist slamming on the table. “He fucking promised.”
“I’m sure he’ll arrive soon, if you’d like to wait,” Alfred motioned to the medical bay, the gurney sitting there on its lonesome. The man huffed, marching to the gurney, otherwise ignoring her presence a few feet away.
She approached Alfred quietly. “Who was that?” her voice laced with curiosity and fear.
Alfred looked at her serenely, knowing something she didn’t. He smiled at her, teh crinkles around his eyes appearing generously. “Why don’t you find out?,” he responded to her camly.
She took it as an order, and made her way towards the small infirmary area. Her footsteps were light and determined, her hand clutching the robbing resting on her chest tightly. Her brain ran over scenarios on how likely it was that this person had almost every physical attribute to her best friend Jason, if he had taken steroids for the past 8 years. It wasn’t likely, but in light of her new knowledge, of how close the supernatural was to her, it was very much possible.
“Do you want me to take a look?” she asked quietly, shifting the weight from her heels to the tips of her toes. She felt so small in his presence, something she didn’t feel with Bruce, oddly. Maybe it was because Bruce didn’t give off such menacing vibes when he was near her, or maybe it was because her brain was unconsciously comparing this man to her Jason, who had always been smaller than her. “At the helmet, I mean.”
He eyed her surgically, analyzing everything about her. His eyes rested on her pendants, widening slightly in recognition. It took almost everything in her to control her beating heart, to control her brain trying to say that in fact that man before her was her Jason, and it wasn’t her brain playing tricks on her.
He gently took his helmet off, revealing his crisp black hair cooly laying on his forehead. His eyes focused on the helmet, his arms extended to give it to her gently. Her eyes would leave his face, a face she had longed to see for eight excruciatingly long years. His eyes had remained the same, after all: kind and sweet. His face, however, told a story of hardships and pain, hardened by whatever he had been through all these years. She didn’t know how to feel, if she should feel betrayed he hadn't trusted her enough to say that he was alive, that he was six feet under anymore, or if she should feel elated that Jason was alive and she could finally tell him all the things she wanted to.
Her fingers brushed him slightly, as she picked up the broken helmet from his hands. His hands still felt the same, her heart noticed, picking up a beat. She looked at the crack that exposed half of his face, the electrical parts fizzling dangerously. Her eyes focused on Jason once again, her lips shut painfully. The tears that came to her eyes were inevitable, trembling fingers reaching at her robin pendant, clutching it tightly. “I’m so sorry,” she whispered.
“Don’t,” he shook his head gently, “it’s not your fault.”
She could see he wanted to touch her, but something held him back. She wouldn’t find out what until much later.

Aged 24, August 16th.
Jason had promised her he would show up, and he never broke his promises. That was what she repeated to herself, late at night. She had prepared everything for his birthday, bought a present for him and baked a cake. She had said that he was supposed to appear at seven. It was well past midnight, the cake had found its way back to the fridge, the present was back in her closet, and he hadn’t showed up yet.
A part of her kept telling her to give up, her best friend had stood her up: Jason changed fundamentally, he wasn’t the same boy he was when she met him and it was foolish to hang on to that notion; it was perfectly plausible that he had the habit of breaking promises now.  But she was well aware of that, she saw it in the tiny things how much Jason was transformed, it still didn’t change the fact that she knew he valued loyalty above all else, and that included loyalty to his words. He wouldn’t break his promise to her.
She changed out of the cute dress she was wearing, feeling foolish and sad that she was about to give up most of the hope that he would show up. Her pyjamas welcomed her comfortably, a safe space to let the heartbreak settle on her. He won’t break his promise, she repeated mentally, he won’t. The mantra did little to soothe the growing dread inside her, the notion that maybe she didn’t know him as well as she did. That he didn’t tell her everything that day, that he didn’t trust her anymore. It hurt more than she anticipated.
Sleep was almost consuming her when she heard a loud clang outside her bedroom. She shook awake, throwing the covers off her instinctively. Her hand grabbed the baseball bat that rested beside her bed, bringing it up and close to her. With slow steps, she approached the window. Her fear settled when she saw the familiar red helmet staring back at her, begging to let him in. She dropped the bat on the floor, opening the window.
He got in her room awkwardly, struggling to pass his huge frame through a tiny space. She reached to help him, offering her hands. He took them, butterflies running amok on her tummy. “You’re late,” she commented, trying to mask the hurt in her voice.
“I know,” he said, taking off his helmet and dropping it on top of her bed. “I’m sorry.”
She hummed looking at him underneath the moonlight seeping through her window. She hadn’t gotten used to how big he became, and how smaller she felt in his presence. She was by no means a small woman, but his entire being could encapsulate her with a simple hug, and not the other way around like it used to be. “Why are you late?” she moved to sit on the bed, the helmet rolling off the bed delicately.
He looked at her, sitting down next to her gently. “I don’t know,” he answered, rubbing his hands together, his elbows resting on his thighs.
“Why do I feel like you’re not being honest with me?” her head tilted, looking at his beautiful profile. There was a scar connecting his right temple to the corner of his upper lip, and it made him even more beautiful than he already was. He fascinated her to no end, his brain, his looks, his entire being was what made her keep going, the light on the end of her tunnel.
His eyes trailed over her face, looking for something she guessed he wouldn’t find. “Why are you always so nice to me?”
“What do you mean, Jason,” she breathed out, confused at the inquiry. “I’m your friend, I’m supposed to be nice to you.”
“No, you’re not,” he shook his head, his hands balled into fists and his eyes closed. “You’re not supposed to be kind to me,” he got up, his back towards her.
“Stop it, Jason, you’re scaring me,” she whispered, her voice shaking a bit.
“You’re supposed to be angry at me. I abandoned you, left you alone, and when I came back I didn’t tell you, I didn’t look for you,” he continued, trying to manipulate her emotions.
“Why are you saying these things, Jason, they’re not true,” she got up, her voice no longer shaking, determined and focused.
“Because I don’t deserve it,” he turned to her, his eyes tortured and sad. “I don’t deserve your kindness and friendship. I’m not worthy of it.”
“Jay, I--” she started, but Jason interrupted her.
“Don’t, please. I’m not worthy of anyone’s love,” his voice was heavy with emotion. She discovered that Jason was often ruled by two main emotions: sadness and anger. In that moment, she could only see those in him and a part of her broke.
“That’s not true, you’re worthy of mine,” her voice was so honest and raw, it caught Jason by surprise. She didn’t know what he expected out of her at that moment, maybe to give in to his spiral of bad thoughts and self flagellation, but she refused to let him believe those awful things. “Jason, you really don't know?”
He remained in silence, his eyes wide and shocked, focused on the ground. His jaw was tense and his hands balled into fists tightly. She took a hesitant step towards him, reaching for his hands. They relaxed under her touch and she threaded her fingers through his. It wasn’t hard to notice how perfectly they fit with each other, like to halves of a whole. “I’ve loved you ever since I was 14 and you marched into the boys bathroom to get my lit homework back from Mason Anderson,” she whispered, her eyes focused on his face, while his were focused on their hands together. “I’m sorry I didn’t say it before, I’m so sorry it took me so long to say it, Jay. But I can’t let you believe all those horrible things you said. Not when I love you more than anything in this world.”
He stayed silent for a couple of moments, her heart beating erratically inside her chest, fearing she had screwed up their friendship for good. In a way, it was worst to know he was out there and didn't want to speak to her because she dared to tell him about her love for him. “Please say something,” she begged him quietly.
His eyes finally found hers, his hands breaking the link they formed. He rested his hands on her cheeks gently, and she dared say, lovingly. Her heart started beating excitedly, the fear slowly dissipating as his gaze got more intense.
His lips brushed against hers, her eyes fluttering closed at the contact. He kissed her gently, a love delicate and fragile, just acknowledged between them both. His grip on her was firm, his thumb grazing delicately on her cheekbones. Her hands thread through his soft hair, still slightly humid from the sweat caused by the helmet. The air was charged with want, tentative kiss toeing the line between what it was and something more.
She wished to stay like that forever. She prayed to  whatever was out there in the Universe, to allow her that happiness. To stay kissing her love tentatively in the dark for as long as she could, as long as he’d let her.
Jason broke the kiss, his forehead resting on hers. His fingers found their way to the back of her head, cupping it softly. “I love you,” he whispered, his lips almost brushing with hers. She reached for his lips once again, like a magnet finding its match. “I love you so much,” he reassured.
They kissed once again, not intending to break apart any time soon.

Meeting You Flipped the World Upside Down - Or Maybe Just Mine
So I’ve decided I’m gonna start posting the finished fic on here. I hope y’all enjoy it as much as I do :)
Summary: Reader has been a rut, stuck in a never ending cycle of college worries and job interviews. Never did she think that SSA Aaron Hotchner, or Agent as she likes to call him, would walk into her favorite late night diner and flip her world upside down. And he for sure didn't expect to fall in love so quickly with the soon to be college grad. They navigate finding love and working together to rediscover what that means for each of them.
Pairing: Aaron Hotchner X Female Reader
Word Count: 1.2K
The Diner
I quite literally had nothing to do. I swear the couch had an indent from where I had sat for, minimum, the past week. There were three months before the new semester started and I was nonstop scouring for a part-time job in the area. Whilst all my friends partied the summer away I was stuck in my parents house so I could at least live three months rent free. As I was approaching my senior year at Cornell, I carried an impressive amount of student loans to my name. I worked several jobs to keep myself afloat during the year but for some reason I had no luck the past few months. With a sigh I closed my laptop for the third time that evening and decided to go for a late night drive. My tiny Subaru sped through the Virginia freeways until I ended up on the edge of D.C.
This wasn’t the first time I drove into the city at such a random time, 2:54 to be exact. There was a 24 hour diner just outside the city that I frequented on nights like these, I guess subconsciously I wanted a milkshake and some fries. Sure, McDonalds would've been more convenient, smarter too, but where's the fun in that? I sat down in a booth facing the entrance so I could have a clear view of my surroundings. Something my former Marine father instilled in me at a young age, never have your back to the enemy. Nobody had ever bothered you before at the diner so you weren't on high alert when the bell rang, signaling someone had walked in. It was only when you heard his voice did you acknowledge his presence. He was talking to the waitress about what she recommended at the time like this, going on about how he wanted something sweet.
“The chocolate milkshake does me wonders at 3 am,” you yelled over with a smile. One he returned.
“One chocolate milkshake then please.” After ordering he promptly stood up and walked over to your booth. “Would you mind if I sat?”
You thought for a few moments. He didn’t look like a threat, hell, what serial killer orders a milkshake at 3:15 in the morning on a Wednesday. It was best not to think about statistics actually, this would be a pretty good ploy. As if he sensed your hesitancy, he reached into his suit jacket and pulled out his badge.
“SSA Aaron Hotchner, I don’t want to intrude but it's hard to avoid the presence of such a beautiful woman so close to me.” Damn, well now I had to let him sit with me.
“Flattery will get you nowhere Agent,” you smirked while gesturing for him to take the seat across from you. “I’m Y/N Y/L.”
The waitress appeared moments later with his milkshake and smiled at the both of you before walking back into the kitchen.
Taking a sip on his milkshake he smiled up at you, “thank you for the suggestion Y/N. Now what brings you into a diner this early in the morning? You can’t be much older than a junior in college.”
“Sometimes you just need a break from reality. I could ask you the same question, Agent but I don’t think you’ll give me a clear answer either.” He raised his eyebrows at your remark, testing you. “Unless I pegged you wrong Agent, so tell me, what are you doing here?”
“I certainly like the break from reality answer, but you’re right there's always something more. I just got back from a case and my son was already asleep at his aunt's house, I figured I could use the distraction. An empty house isn’t the most comforting.” You nodded along, knowing all too well the feeling of being alone. When you weren't at home you were normally holed up in the campus library or in your apartment. Your roommate during the semester was nice and all but you both had your own lives, mainly she had one.
“Trying to find a job that will utilize my education is draining, I needed a break from the constant rejection. A real mood killer.”
“What do you study and where?” When you entered this conversation you did not expect some real interest. This was beginning to feel like the small talk part of a first date, something you’re way too accustomed to lately.
“Cornell studying economics.” You slowly sipped on your straw and pushed your fries toward the center of the table to share with Aaron. “I want to work for HUD, although that's nothing compared to the FBI Agent Hotchner.” You smirked and winked at the man.
“It’s certainly not unimpressive though, you should be proud, honestly. The FBI isn’t all it's cracked up to be, it has its moments but I feel satisfaction from what I do. That's what matters in the end isn’t it?”
“I was a federal prosecutor before I joined the FBI, being able to stop criminals in the act grants me more satisfaction than reading their case files and presenting it in front of a jury. I feel like I do more good this way.”
Never in a million years did you think this was what you were going to walk into when you got in your car hours prior. How in the world did this seemingly kind hearted man, and not unattractive as well, walk up to you of all people. You stared in awe as he drank his milkshake. I guess you were staring far too long because all of a sudden his voice boomed in your ears again.
“You still here? I know I can be pretty boring.” He smirked and snapped his fingers in front of your face making your cheeks tint a shade of red. “Yeah yeah of course I am. Sorry about that, I guess the time is starting to get to me.” You chuckled slightly and shifted under his soft gaze. “You aren’t boring Aaron, in fact you’re the opposite. I haven’t talked to anyone so passionate about what they do. It’s - It’s inspiring, really.” Your body reacted on impulse and reached across the table for his free hand, holding it over the table.
Both of you seemed just as shocked at your actions, making you quickly let go and cough to try and ease the awkwardness in the air. Luckily, the waitress came by with both of your checks at the exact right time. Before you could reach into your wallet Aaron had already placed his card out and handed the waitress both of your bills.
“Aaron, I am capable of paying for my own food.” You still smiled at the sentiment.
“I am well aware that you are capable, but that doesn’t stop me from wanting to thank you for your company.” He swiftly grabbed your hand in the same fashion you had earlier, except this time you didn’t pull away.
“There were other ways to thank me, Agent.” Summoning all of your confidence, you reached for his phone and quickly typed your name and number into it. “Don’t be afraid to use it, Agent. I’ll be waiting.” And with that, you winked and walked out of the diner without a glance back.
And man, were you hoping he would use it soon.

Can i get a draco x reader where the reader is obsessed with the yule ball but unfortunately she gets into a accident so she in a wheel chair for a few days and draco likes the reader so he makes her day memorable by picking her up and making her dance like the scene in twilight.
Requested: Yes Pairing: Draco Malfoy x fem!reader Warnings: a bit of angst i guess, swearing, insecurity, an injury, asshole!theo nott Summary: Draco x reader where the reader gets injured before the Yule Ball and Draco swoops in to make the night memorable for her.
WORDS : 2451
Not going to lie, I struggled a bit with this one and I ended up focusing more on the build up than the actual scene but I hope you like it because I’m quite happy with the way it turned out.
Lyric snippets I used are from “High School Sweethearts” by Melanie Martinez and they’re not in chronological order, I honestly just put them in randomly.
Anyway, love you all,
jean <3
<~>
“Y//N, I’m bored.” Draco grumbles as he sits down on your lap- resting all of his body weight on you and trying to annoy you.
You grunt at the action but get comfortable regardless- propping your chin up on his shoulder and resting your arms around his waist like you usually do when he sits on you for fun. “Well, we could go over plans for Friday.”
“If I have to hear you talk about that damn ball one more time I swear to Merlin I’m going to kill myself in the Black Lake.”
“Promise?” You ask perkily and he lifts up one of his hands to flick your head, “Sorry!”
You both laugh and he rolls off of you and into the seat beside you. “Okay but seriously, I’m bored.”
You laugh and shake your head as you get off the couch, “I’m going to do my muggle studies homework in the library- if you come along then when we’re done we can do whatever you like.” You offer your best friend and he tilts his head to the side as he considers your offer before grinning and jumping off the couch.
“You’ve chosen some very bad words.”
“You also have to listen to my Yule Ball ideas.” You add and he groans.
“That’s not fair-“
“Take it or leave it.”
“Fine.” He mumbles with an eye-roll as the two of you walk out of the Slytherin commons and toward the library.
“And damn it, if you fuck me over I will rip your fucking face apart”
“If you cheat, you will die, die”
“So I was talking to Theo and he basically suggested that we wear matchin-“ As you and Draco walk toward the library, and you relay all of your thoughts regarding the Yule Ball to him, you come across Theodore Nott. Your date to the Yule Ball- technically your boyfriend considering the fact that you’ve been flirting with each other for weeks- shoved up against a wall with another girl’s lips on his.
You and Draco freeze in the hallway and take in the scene- trying to decide how best to react. Draco takes a step forward- ready to defend your honour- but you’ve already yanked the girl away from Theo by her hair and swung your fist straight into his face.
“You must accept that I’m a little out of my mind”
A crackling sound is heard followed by the shriek of your voice- “You filthy piece of shit!”
Theo stumbles backward then grips his bleeding nose in shock- obviously not expecting you to have had such a strong hook- “You bitch!”
“I guess your mother and I have something in common then.” You spit back and his eyes widen in fury as he regains his balance and walks toward you.

“What the fuck did you just say?”
“I know that it’s dark and lonely in there for your two single braincells but I feel like the quip was quite straightforward. You are a son of a bitch.” You grit out with venom lacing your words and Draco sucks in a large breath from behind the two of you- watching the scene unfold and deciding that it’s best to let you handle it.
Theo laughs coldly and runs a fist beneath his nostrils to wipe away some dripping blood, “This is exatly why I didn’t make things official with you, you’re fucking psychotic.”
“Oh please, you’ve got to have something better than that.” You scoff and roll your eyes.
“If you can't handle the choking, the biting The loving, the smothering 'Til you can't handle it no more, no more Go home”
“You know what? You’re right.” He sniffs and bends down a little lower so that you’re both eye level- just so that he can patronise you. “You’re clingy, bitchy and honestly I could do a lot better than you looks-wise. You make me want to bash my head into a wall and the only reason I asked you to the Yule Ball, and flirted with you, was to get Daphne Greengrass’s attention.”
“Fine, since I make you so goddamn miserable we can end all of this here.” You crane your neck and shrug, “If you can’t handle me then you can fuck right off.”
“I will!”

“Theo-“ Draco calls out to the fellow Slytherin, perhaps hoping to talk him out of the stupid decision he’s about to make, but Theo’s having none of it.
“Oh, sod off!” Theo shouts back as he walks away from you and Draco and gives you both the middle finger.
You take a moment to breathe before the adrenaline runs out and the searing pain in your fist comes rushing at full force. Ow, crap!” You exclaim as you hurriedly grab your bag from off the floor and start running toward Madame Pomfrey.
“Y/N! Wait up!” Draco shouts from behind you as he tries to run with you.
“Run faster!” You shout with a giggle as you turn to stick your tongue out at him. Then it happens.
You turn back to watch where you’re running, but it’s too late and before you know it, you’re tumbling down one of the many flights of stairs that graces Hogwarts.
~~~
“You’re such a dumb shit.” Draco mumbles from beside you with a chuckle.
“I know, shut up.” You snap back at him but you can’t hide the slight smile tugging on your lips.
After your beatdown fight with the stairs, you got carried to Madame Pomfrey’s and had to be treated for your fist injury as well as the ones you sustained from your tumble. She was quick to give you a potion for pain and immediately got started examining you- deducing that you’d sprained one of your legs and hit your head, but not hard enough to contract a concussion.
So now you’re sat in one of the beds with your leg hanging above you in a cast, a bandage wrapped around your head and one wrapped around your fist. Madame Pomfrey walks back with a wheelchair and gives you a stern look as she gently unhooks your leg and lays it down on the bed.
“Now, you’re going to need to use this for a week, then after the initial week I will examine you again and either remove your cast or put you on crutches.”
“Wait, a week?” You furrow your eyebrows and she nods, “But the Yule Ball is in three days.” You frown.
“You won’t be able to dance but you can still have a nice time.” She offers you a wayward smile and you nod faintly with a thin smile- trying not to think about how the night you’d had perfectly planned out for weeks is suddenly coming apart before your eyes.
She helps you into the wheelchair and then her and Draco have an exchange in which he promises to get you to dinner, and back to the dorms, in one piece. Then before you know it Draco is wheeling you out of the ward and toward the Great Hall, but you’re not particularly hungry and instead want to lie down.
“Draco?”
“Hm?”
“Do you mind just taking me to my dorm? I’m not in the mood to eat.”
He stops abruptly and peers his head round your shoulder so that you can see each other, “You’re not hungry? It’s apple pie night.”
“I’m not in the mood for apple pie.”
“Uh oh, what’s wrong?”
“You mean besides the fact that I technically just got cheated on and then landed myself in a wheelchair, leaving me injured and dateless three days before the Yule Ball?” You raise your eyebrows and he laughs, “Nothing really.”
“Okay that’s fair… You want to talk?” You shake your head in response and he nods silently as he thinks. “Okay, how about I bring food up to your dorm and we can sit and eat it in silence together instead?”
“I can do that.”
So Draco does as you ask, despite it being a very long trip for him, and drops you off in your dorm room before collecting dinner for you both and returning to join you.
“Give me passion, don't make fun of my fashion”
You finish up your dinner with a laugh as Draco shakes his head at you.
“That’s a ghastly dress Y/N.” He says as he looks at the y/f/c dress you’d originally picked out for the Yule Ball- before you realised that the cut was too small and wouldn’t be accommodating to your hips.
“Hey!” You gasp and toss a pillow at him as you both laugh, “Don’t be rude.”
“I don’t have that setting.”
“I noticed.” You grumble and sigh as you fall back against your headboard.
“Are you sure that you’re okay?”
You look down at your fingers as you fiddle with them and make a thinking face, “I don’t know.”
“That’s okay- not knowing, I mean.” He reaches out for your hands and encapsulates them in his own, “What he did was shitty, it’s not your fault and none of the things he said about you are true. But it’s okay to be confused between anger, sadness, relief-“
“Relief?” You raise your eyebrows up at him in question with a smirk, “Why would I be relieved that he called me a clingy and psychotic bitch?”
“I-“
“I mean maybe that’s arousing for someone with a degradation kink like yourself but I found that quite demeaning.” You tease with a wide grin at the sight of his frustrated and annoyed features.
“You know I was going to offer myself up as your new date but-“ He trails off as you cut him off.
“I’m sorry! Please go with me?” You whine and he laughs.
“Since you’re begging…” You throw another pillow at him and he raises his hands up in surrender, “Okay, okay! I’d love to be your date to the Yule Ball.”
“I know you would.” You smile proudly.
“Pansy will just have to deal.”
~~~
“You can't be scared to show me off and hold my hand”
“Draco, are you sure this isn’t too much?” You peer your eyes up at him- referring to the dress his mother had tailor made for you.
“Y/N, my mother was more excited than you when I told her that we were going together and she could send you dresses tfor you to try- it’s nowhere near too much.” He reassures you with a chuckle.
“Thank you so much, it’s truly exquisite.”
“No, thank you.”
“For?”
“Giving me the opportunity to take the prettiest girl in our year out to the Yule Ball.”
“I don’t remember convincing Cho Chang to lower her standards to yo-“
“Why do I bother?” He mumbles to himself and you giggle.
“Thank you, and you look great too.”
“I know.” He smiles smugly before walking behind you so he can push your wheelchair. “Now let’s go in so that I can show off my incredible date and best friend.”
“If you think you can be my one and only true love You must promise to love me”
After an hour of you and Draco sitting by a table- eating, laughing, observing how ridiculous everyone looks on the dance floor- you start to feel an immense weight in the pit of your stomach, a reminder as to why you’re sat on a chair instead of dancing the night away with your date, and you have to look away from Draco to hide the tears that are pricking at your eyes.
He notices the change in your demeanor and furrows his eyebrows in confusion, trying to figure out what exactly changed your energy so quickly- then his eyes scan the room and land on Theo dancing with Daphne and a wave of realization hits him like a freight train. He clears his throat to drag your attention toward him and you swallow hard before plastering on a fake smile and meeting his eyes. “You know, she doesn’t look as good as you do.”
You tilt your head to the side in confusion for a second before registering that he’s referring to Daphne. “Oh.” You look back at her and Theo, “I really want to believe you but it’s kind of hard to do that when I’m staring straight at her holding the guy that picked her over me.”
“Bu-“
“It’s okay, really.” You give him a wayward smile, “I think I see why he likes her and not me, she’s just better.” You shrug before continuing, “There was some merit in Theo’s words that day, I am a bit much too handle and I guess she just isn’t.”
“Don’t talk about yourself like that.” Draco furrows his eyebrows at you, “There’s nothing wrong with you, you’re not too much Y/N, you’re just enough and he’s a fool not to see what an incredible person you are.”
“Drac-“
“I love you. And not like best friend love, like you’re my soulmate and I want to spend the rest of my life with you love.” He interrupts you with his confession before he loses the nerve, once again, to tell you how much you mean to him. “And I know that we’re still young, it sounds ridiculous of me to say something like that so confidently but it’s true and I just know it.”
He takes a moment to breathe before continuing, “You don’t have to feel the same way, I honestly don’t expect you to, but I want you to know that I plan to love you forever whether it be as your best friend or more.”
“You’re such a sap.” You finally breathe out with a soft smile on your face once he’s done, “I love you too, you fucking idiot.”
“You’re so bloody rude.” He grumbles out with a grin, “But you’re still the only one for me.”
“That I am.” You laugh out with a smile. “I’m sorry that I got myself injured, we could be having our first dance right now.”
He goes silent for a moment before a grin sneaks its way onto his face suddenly, “Who said we can’t?”
“What do you mea-“
Before you can even finish he’s standing up, snaking his arms around your waist and delicately pulling you up off of your wheelchair and into his arms. You gasp at the sudden movements and struggle to find balance in his arms but he does the work for you and helps you rest one arm along his while he takes the other hand in his own fingers and holds you up by your waist- with your feet resting on his. “Is this okay? Are you comfortab-“
“It’s perfect.” You cut him off with a content sigh and a smile as you start to sway back and forth gently.
“You’re perfect.”
“I know.” You giggle.
“Cocky.” He scoffs before dropping his lips down to meet your own- making you heave another content sigh against his lips.
“Merlin, It was about time you disgusting lovebirds got together!” You hear Pansy utter from somewhere behind you and drop your head into Draco’s shoulder as you both laugh at her comment.

James Potter gets the shock of his life
The hard thing was going to be picking the right memory. Was it normal for your strongest memories to all be bittersweet, or was that just her? Finding out she was a witch? Irrevocably connected to losing Petunia. Her friendship with Severus? Feeling really seen for the first time? Grinning at each other, elated when they were the first two in the class to pull off the Draught of Living Death because of the extra reading they’d done together, huddled in the library?
But then, that same afternoon, when she walked up to join the queue outside Transfiguration, his Slytherin friends had held their noses, mimed vomiting, exaggerated looks of disgust on their face. She tried to just ignore it. James Potter and Sirius Black had retaliated unthinkingly, an en masse Petrificus Totalus so the group of Slytherins were on the ground before Lily could do so much as blink. She’d not thanked them. Not looked at them, at any of them. She’d just set her shoulders, turned on her heel and walked in the other direction. There were other Muggleborns in the class and the Slytherins didn’t react nearly as strongly. She didn’t know what she could have done to earn such stand out hatred, even before You-Know-Who had empowered people to say what they really thought. And Severus had just stood there, saying nothing, refusing to even look at her.
Nothing that involved him, then.
“You got your memory ready?” Mary broke into her reverie. “Yeah, I was just thinking about that,” Lily sighed. “It’s kind of slim pickings. I’ve just not had that much pleasure in my life recently.” “Sorry to hear that, Evans. If only there was something I could do,” came a polite voice from above her. Lily shut her eyes, knowing what she was going to see when she opened them. James Potter had slid onto the bench next to her and was smirking as he spooned potatoes onto his plate. “Don’t be creepy, Potter.” He held a forked potato aloft on the way to his mouth, and looked almost sheepish. “Oh come on, I’m only kidding.” He looked at her so earnestly she couldn’t help softening. “You know what my memory’s gonna be?” he went on, brightly. “What?” Lily indulged him. “Slughorn’s Christmas party last year.” “Oh yeah, that was fun,” Lily smiled back, pleasantly surprised. What was this? A nice friendly reminiscence about a time they’d both enjoyed?” “Specifically,” he went on. Here we go, Lily thought. “That green dress you wore,” James feigned a dreamy expression, staring into the middle distance. “You remember the one. You were pulling at the hem of it all night like you were worried it was too short even though I kept telling you it looked magnificent and-” “Oh my god, I am not listening to this,” Lily threw her spoon down and disembarked the bench as gracefully as she could. “What?” James called after her, loud enough for the whole hall to hear. “I liked it because it matched your eyes!” He was so unabashed, so gloriously unbothered about looking like an idiot that she couldn’t help laughing. Now that he’d stopped bullying Severus, stopped hexing people in the corridors, his advances had transitioned from incredibly aggravating to kind of a running joke for everyone. Lily’s smile slipped when she saw Severus, watching her from the Slytherin table. His black eyes were on her, unfathomable. She lifted her chin and stalked past. Severus Snape didn’t own her, and he’d made his choice.
Having left lunch early, she was the first to arrive to Defence Against the Dark Arts. She sat there, nervous and twitchy as the others trickled in. Mary flopped down next to her. “You can’t leave the table every time James Potter sits next to you,” Mary said. “You’re too thin as it is,” pinching Lily’s waist for emphasis. Lily squirmed. “I don’t leave the table whenever he sits next to me!” “Okay, but you do. And I don’t see why. He really likes you, he makes you laugh-” “He does not make me laugh. He’s laughable. That’s not the same-” Lily cut herself off as the door banged open and a group of Slytherins sloped in. As usual, Severus didn’t look her way as he went to sit on the other side of the classroom. Moments later, the Marauders came in roaring with laughter at a story that Sirius was telling. “… so basically every time Pince says the word quiet, the sonorous charm activates, and-“ “Settle down, settle down,” Professor Vance said as she swept into the classroom behind them. The Marauders laughter died away. Everybody else was already silent. “Okay. There’s only one way to get good at this, and even then, without a real dementor, well. It’s not the same. That’s why you’ve got to be good. Really good. So. One at a time, up the front, so we can all learn. Who wants to go first?” Nobody volunteered. Lily felt Professor Vance’s eyes land on her. This often happened, being Head Girl. But she was fresh out of Gryffindor courage today. “Miss Evans?” Mulciber, one of Severus’s Slytherin friends, gave a small cough designed to poorly disguise the word, “Mudblood!” A few people gasped, and the Slytherins tittered. From the back of the room came a scraping sound and Lily turned to see James Potter pushing his chair back and making to stand up, but being dragged back down by Lupin. “We’ll get them later,” she heard Black hiss. Lily turned back to the front of the class and stood up herself. “I’ll try.” She made her way up to Professor Vance. “You know the theory. Just concentrate on that memory,” Vance said quietly, before moving to the side of the room. Lily nodded and turned to face the class. Her eyes met Mulciber’s close-set, piggish gaze. Mulciber sneered, his eyes narrowed. Lily determinedly kept her face impassive, until finally, he looked away. Lily lifted her chin, then faced the rest of the class. Without intending to, she locked eyes with Potter, just for a second. Free of mirth for once, his face reflected the determination she felt. He gave a small nod, a tiny gesture of encouragement, and she felt bolstered.
Lily closed her eyes, and pictured her parents. Her mother and father. She thought about the first time she had brought them to Diagon Alley. Buying them an ice cream at Florian Fortescue’s, their delight as they watched the conga line of charmed strawberries dance along the counter. Her mother’s awe as she craned her neck to see the highest shelves of Flourish and Blott’s, her father’s face of anticipation as he took a tentative sip of Ogden’s Old Firewhisky. The classroom disappeared. The Slytherins disappeared. They couldn’t tarnish what she had. Lily’s voice was clear and confident, “Expecto Patronum!” She knew it had worked when warmth coursed through her. When she opened her eyes again, she saw silver mist erupting from the tip of her wand, taking shape. It was something with four legs. A horse- but no, its head was still blossoming, it had – antlers? It was a stag. It was the most beautiful thing she’d ever seen. It stretched its neck back toward her, lowering its antlered head in greeting. Then, it cantered gracefully around the room, before returning to her outstretched wand, and with a blink of its eyes, it was gone. Lily stared at the space where it had disappeared. The classroom was, for a moment, completely quiet. Then the spell broke. The Gryffindors whooped and cheered. Lily looked towards her friends, and started to smile, still in a small amount of shock. But then she saw four faces at the back of the classroom, and they brought her up short. Peter Pettigrew’s mouth had dropped dumbly open. Remus Lupin’s eyebrows had shot north to his hairline. Sirius Black had dissolved into silent laughter, shaking his head in disbelief. James Potter looked completely stricken, his eyes wide with an emotion she couldn’t name.

Tumblr media Tumblr media
eijirou kirishima
kirishima may have placed second in ua’s entrance exam, but he still needs to study. a lot
your also pretty smart but that doesn’t mean you don’t need to study as well, so when kirishima asked if you wanted to study with him it was perfect for both of you
it was also perfect because the two of you have fat crushes on each other
the two of you were going to meet up in your room after class ended, since your room was easier to study in—
when class ended, you walked over to kirishima’s desk. once he packed up the two of you started walking to the dorms
“hey (y/n) can we study english today? since we have a quiz tomorrow.” kirishima glanced at you, to see if you’d agree
you nodded your head in response, “good idea, we probably should review the material from today. it’ll most likely be the majority of the quiz.”
the two of you continue to easily converse about how to study for today, you have always been able to easily talk with kirishima
it’s definitely one of the reasons why you fell for him
when you get to your dorm, the both of you sit at your chabudai desk. sitting across from each other because you’re not sure if you’re ready to sit so close to kirishima. he’s not sure either
as you start getting your notes out from your earlier lesson, kirishima is currently worrying about being in your room. it’s his first time being in your room, with only you.
you snap him back to reality, “kirishima? are you going to get your notes out?”
the red head tenses slightly since you caught him spacing out, “right sorry (y/n)!” he laughs nervously and fishes his notes out from his backpack
the two of you then spend the next few hours studying your english from material from that day and the rest of the week
“kirishima, you forgot the comma here.”
“(y/n) which sentence structure do i use here?”
“wait how do you spell ketchup again..”
“why is english so complicated?!”
after almost four hours of studying, mostly english but the two of you completed the homework due tomorrow as well, you were starting to get tired. it was already dark outside as well
you let out a big yawn, causing kirishima to pause what he was doing and look up at you. “getting tired? maybe we should call it for today.”
you immediately shake your head at the male, “no i’m fine let’s just finish since we’re almost done.” even if you were tired you didn’t want this to end, you were actually having fun studying with kirishima. he definitely made it more enjoyable
kirishima definitely didn’t think you were just fine, but he let it slide. he was planning on letting you sleep if you let out another big yawn like that though
you continued to work on a worksheet but you were having trouble remembering something. so you got up and plopped down next to kirishima, “can you help me with this? sorry it’s just easier to sit next to you instead of sliding the paper back and forth.”
kirishima was a little surprised that you were now sitting so close to him, your shoulders touching with his now. but he swatted that thought away and focused on helping you with the worksheet. a small blush still spread along his cheeks however
he started to explain it more thoroughly, not realizing that you had started to lean against him. it was only after he finished explaining that he fully noticed that you had fell asleep while leaning against him.
you were already pretty tired, so when kirishima started to smoothly talk, plus his comfortable warmth. yea it just soothed you into an easy sleep, leaving a very surprised, flustered red head
the red head blushed deeply when he saw that you were now slumped against him and sleeping. he couldn’t help the lopsided smile that easily spread on his face as he watched your sleeping form
but now kirishima was contemplating whether he should move you to your bed or not. he was so afraid of waking you up, the sweet boy didn’t want to disturb you. you looked too cute sleeping anyways
but while he was deciding there was a sudden knock on the door, which then opened quickly after
“hey (y/n)! the girls were wondering if you wanted to join...kirishima!! what are you doing here?” mina was standing in the open door frame, along with tsuyu and hagakure
kirishima immediately brought his finger to his lips to shush the loud pink girl, when mina shouted in surprise you started to stir slightly
“please don’t wake up (y/n), they just fell asleep.” the red head was quietly trying to make sure the girls weren’t too loud again. but they were struggling from holding back their squeals of excitement since of course they knew about your crush
“ok we will leave then, but not after taking a dozen pictures first!” mina quietly shouted, then whipped out her phone and started to snap pictures of your sleeping form leaning against kirishima.
the next day you practically died from over heating after seeing all the pictures mina took, but at least you and kirishima got high grades on the quiz
the two of you would definitely be studying again together
Tumblr media
denki kaminari
it’s no secret that kaminari needs to study more, i’m pretty sure everyone knows that much
he’s actually ranked last in class 1-a’s grades, this idiot
so when kaminari practically begs you to help him study, since bakugou doesn’t want to teach him anymore, you can’t refuse him
besides it helps you learn as well, plus of course you don’t mind spending more time with your crush
during lunch the blonde practically drags you to the library to help him review for a test they have right after lunch.
you can’t even stop him from dragging you because you’re blushing from him just holding your hand
honestly kaminari would be a little short circuited as well but he’s too worried about failing this test
kaminari finds a table for the both of you near the back of the library and immediately starts to bombarde you with questions
“how do you memorize all of this laws?”
“do heroes pay for building damages or is it covered by the government?”
“and also—“
he goes on for a minute or so before finally taking a breath and letting you process, you can’t even hold yourself back from laughing because half of the stuff he said wasn’t even related to what you had learned in class
“kaminari, do you even pay attention? here let me explain what we learned this week.” you grabbed your notebook and moved to sit beside the electric boy
as you read through your notebook, reviewing the weeks material, kaminari just stared at you as you talked
seeing you beside him definitely hit different, it just meant he could admire you up close. also he never knew hearing you talk so confidently about this subject would be hot
congrats kaminari thinks you’re smarts are hot too
when you finished explaining, turning to face the blonde, you definitely weren’t expecting him to be so blantantly staring at you
a pink tint spread on your cheeks as you looked back at him in confusion, “kaminari? were you listening to anything i said?”
“huh?” it took the blonde a moment to register your words, but he then smiled sheepishly. “what of course i did, your good looks just distracted me slightly that’s all.”
your mouth dropped open slightly, eyes blinking slowly as you sat in shock. yea you knew kaminari could be a flirt, but it didn’t mean that you were immune to it
as your cheeks grew red, you cleared your throat and focused back on helping the dunce face study. “right well if you can answer these questions then you should be fine for the next class.”
kaminari was silently grinning in victory, loving your adorable reaction to his flirting. he wanted to flirt with you more
you quickly wrote down a couple of questions, from some worksheets and other you made up, so that kaminari could answer them
you gave the paper to kaminari and he stared to answer them, leaving you with nothing to do. so you decided to rest your head on the table, using your own hand as a pillow for your face
the previous night you slept pretty late, for no particular reason you just couldn’t sleep. so it didn’t take much for you too easily fall asleep in the quiet library
that’s a BIG lie we both know you were probably up on your phone, maybe watching tiktok as well don’t think i don’t know
kaminari finished all the questions and was about to slide the paper to you when he saw you had fallen asleep
the blonde was surprised to see you had fallen asleep so easily, and now he was unsure what to do
the thought of the test quickly fleeted from his mind as he just watched you. your small rising and falling with each breath, your mouth slightly open, and your hair gently framing your face
the blonde gently reached over and brushed some stray hairs that dared to block your face. he couldn’t help but smile as he did so
goodness kaminari couldn’t help but think you were still so attractive as you slept! but now that he thought of it, of course you would be attractive with everything you do
he decided to let you rest, mostly because it was an excuse for him to watch you. he laid his arms on the table and laid on them as well, watching you as you took a little nap
after a few minutes of watching you, he knew that the bell would ring soon. so instead of letting the bell wake you, he decided that he would rather do it
a mischievous grin spread along his face, his charges his finger with enough electricity to definitely wake you up. but of course not enough to hurt you or anything like that
as he pressed his finger against your arm you immediately jolted awake with a little gasp following
“k-kaminari!” you shouted, forgetting you were in a library. everyone around you immediately shushed you to silence, making your cheeks turn red with embarrassment
you shot a glare at the blonde who was holding back his laughter, “i’m sorry (y/n), i couldn’t help myself. you fell asleep and the bells going to ring. can you look over my answers?”
you were still upset with the male, not angry or anything but you were still pouting about him shocking you. you looked over the paper as you grumbled about him shocking you awake
“well you passed, but this is the last time i’m helping you study.” the bell rung as you stood from the table, grabbing your things to walking to leave the library
the blonde panicked when you got up and did the same, “wait (y/n) i’m really sorry! i promise i won’t shock you, you’re the best and only tutor i have!”
hearing kaminari beg made you grin, of course you were going to get him back for earlier. you stopped in your tracks and looked back at him
“hm fine, but next time, you better be paying closer attention.” you squinted your eyes at him, trying your best to threaten him
he nodded quickly, “yes yes of course!” he was grateful you were going to study with him again, he wouldn’t want to study with anyone else anymore
“kaminari...you left your things in the library and class is going to start soon...”
“huh? oh crap!” you laughed as you watched the blonde scramble back to the library to grab his things. who knew studying could be so eventful?
Tumblr media
katsuki bakugou
ok we all know that bakugou is smart, like he look like the type to slack off. but when he says he wants to be the best, that includes grades
this guy is actually a nerd, like funny how you call deku a nerd when you’re a big one yourself bakagou
and the two of you compete, with training, with grades, with like almost anything you can compete with
so when the class came back from a long day of training, to get their quiz scores from the previous week, you were devastated to see that you barely got a passing grade
usually you got high grades but this new section of math, definitely had you struggling. you just couldn’t quite get it right
bakugou was definitely proud of his high score and turned to you, wanting to know your score. so that he could flaunt it in your face that he did better then you, since he usually did only slightly better
“hey dumbass, guess who got a higher score than you again.” he showed you his paper, a proud grin plastered on his face. you didn’t even pay attention to him, still distraught about your score
seeing that you didn’t even notice, the blonde just got more annoyed. “hey idiot don’t just ignore me.” he snatched the paper out from your hands, to see what you got, but once he saw your score he went silent for a moment
that’s rare
bakugou started to laugh, catching you off guard. why was he laughing? were your bad grades actually funny to him?
“i can’t believe it, you turned into an ACTUALL dumbass!” he calmed down from his laughter, only to tease you of course. this just annoyed you, causing you to pout at the spiky blonde
“yeah well maybe it’s your fault for calling me dumbass and idiot all the time.” you retorted, stealing your paper back and stuffing it in your bag.
bakugou just rolled his eyes at you, “yeah whatever shitty girl.” he packed up the rest of his things and headed out of the classroom.
you also grabbed your things and followed beside the male, it was just an unspoken aggreement that you two walk to the dorms together
actually at first he yelled at you for following him, but now he just doesn’t care and maybe just maybe enjoys your company
you know you need help on the current math section, and you know the next math test will have half of it’s problems about it
you also know that the person who can probably help you, is also the same person who laughed at your bad grade
so when you guys arrive at the dorms you know what you have to do. “bakugou,” you start, which made him glance over at you briefly, “please help me with math!”
bakugou stopped walking to look at you, you were seriously asking for his help? “as if idiot, why should i help my competition?”
“well didn’t you say it’s not worth winning if your opponent is not giving it their all?”
awe shit, you got him there
bakugou growled under his breath, angry that you were right. “fine fine! besides it’s annoying hearing you whine so much.” he grumbled under his breath as he walked too his dorm room.
“HEY I DID NOT WHINE!”
you ended up going to your dorm to change out of your uniform, then went to bakugou’s so that you could study
you entered his room and saw that he had prepared everything already, a cushion was set out for you and his notes were all organized. man you really had fallen for a nerd
the next two hours went as following:
“it’s literally so easy you idiot.”
“JUST REMEMBER THE EQUATION DUMBASS”
“can you even read?”
“bAKUGOU IF YOU HIT ME WITH THAT NEWSPAPER ONE MORE TIME I WILL GO LORD EXPLOSION MURDER ON YOUR ASS”
bakugou may have thought that last one was hot
but finally after yelling and dealing with bakugou LITERALLY trying to whack the math homework into your head, it finally clicked
“god it took you long enough dumbass, now hurry up it’s almost eight.” you shot a glare at bakugou but sighed, not wanting to argue you anymore
bakugou was also a little proud of you for working so hard, BUT YOU HEARD NOTHING FROM ME
you were getting tired yourself but you wanted to finish the last few practice problems to make sure you got it down
you rested your head against your offhand, continuing to work out the equations and such. your eyes were starting to feel pretty heavy and before you knew it you passed out
today you were more exhausted from usual because of a particular rough day of practice, and you were partenered with bakugou for sparring. he did not let you get off easy
bakugou heard the thud from when your head fell against the table, worried for a brief moment before he saw you were just sleeping
“they really fell asleep...oi wake up, you’re not sleeping in my room.” bakugou pokes you with his pen, continuously doing so until he got annoyed since you weren’t wake up
he grumbled under his breath about how you were such a pain in the ass and such, you know. the usual.
the spiky blonde sat there, wondering if he should leave you or not. but seeing as you weren’t waking uphe decided it would be better to move you
bakugou let out a soft, woah he can be soft, sigh as he easily picked up your sleeping body. he walked over to his door and peeked out first, making sure the coast was clear
no way was he going to get caught carrying you back to bed like a NICE person, oh no he’d rather jump off ua
as he walked over to your room he couldn’t help but watch you sleep. how could you be so peaceful after he kept trying to wake you up
also, how were you still able to making his ears turn all red, even though you’re just sleeping. maybe it’s because you’re so close to him, or the fact that he’s holding you
goodness this just fueled his anger for his crush on you, no way he’d let you win his heart so easily. but it was already too late for that
bakugou was distracted, so when todoroki asked him what he was doing he was caught off guard
and this idiot DROPPED YOU
with being dropped you finally woke up, your back and butt hurting from the impact but it was nothing lasting
bakugou whipped around and started to yell and shout and poor todoroki, about how he shouldn’t scare people and that he was a stalker and...
todoroki was in for an earful, poor boy
well actually poor you, because you were sat on the floor in utter confusion. weren’t you just studying? it took you a moment to connect the pieces
and it it took you seconds for your cheeks to flare up from realizing that bakugou was carrying you moments ago!
you didn’t get to ask bakugou about it because he was still yelling at todoroki, only for him to stomp away angrily when he was satisfied
todoroki was unfazed and went to help you up, asking if you were ok and such. you were fine and went to your room so that you could finally sleep
you were definitely planning on trying to study with bakugou more, and maybe even try to find a way for him to carry you again

Fight Night
Frankie x GN!Reader
Your best friend promises her brother's friend to fight him in the ring. You go to cheer her on, worried for her safety, but leave with forever friends and a crush
Tumblr media
"Are you shure you wanna do this though? You never did matches before.. You can get seriously hurt" the nervousness in your voice was unmistakable but that didn't stop your asshole friend of laughing at you. "Love, I need to teach these men a lesson" she said with a tone of mischief. "And you will get laid. Which will be payment enough for me. Because gosh you are tense. Anyways when will you be here?"
"I'm getting in my car now. I will get there in 15 ish minutes" you answered her. You gave your normal goodbyes before you hang up and threw your phone on the passenger side with a sigh.
Maddie, your best friend, was a boxer and could absolutely kick ass. Her brother, Jack, kept pestering her how she should take her skills to a proper ring and knock some guys out but she always said no. Until a few weeks ago. When she met one of Jack's friends and he dared her to fight him in the ring. And being a hotheaded person, she took up that deal without thinking. And now it's Friday, just after work, and you were on your way to support her with Jack.
The relatively short ride was spend singing along to some Fleetwood Mac songs. Your old car only played CDs and so your dash was full with them. And as you drove up to the ring, belting along with The Chain, you spotted Maddie and Jack's cars and managed to park close by them. Turning down your car, you send a quick prayer to whoever God was listening to keep your friend in one piece, grabbed your phone and went in.
The place was packed. People were screaming, making bets, watching the two persons go at it on the elevated ring. The place smelled like sweat, cheap beer and blood. It made you a bit uneasy, especially being surrounded by mostly men, so you set off to find Jack as quick as possible. Which was hard, with only the spotlights on the ring being a source of light, the rest of the room being dimmed by some wall lamps, faces were hard to see.
In fact, Jack saw you before you saw him. Suddendly he was in front of you, grinning. "C'mon! I saved us a seat next to my friend's friends. They are pretty cool" he yelled over the noise. He grabbed your arm and dragged you to a bench with four men. All were holding a beer and all were reacting differently to the fight.
The first one, a slim, tan guy with black hair was totally invested. He kept yelling and cheering when the guy he was rooting for managed to hit his opponent. He looked slightly drunk, but he wasn't being annoying as of yet.
Next to him was a taller and broader guy. He sat there, seemingly unamused. Probably waiting for his friend to get in the ring. He didn't look too approachable.
The third guy was like the first one but a bit more toned down. He cheered every once in a while but wasn't as hyper like the first guy. He had blonde hair and a mischievous sparkle in his eyes.
And the last one... Didn't look like he belonged at all. He was silent, although not in a threatening way like guy nr. 2. He didn't seem uncomfortable, just seemed like he didn't want to be in such a rowdy and busy place. You couldn't blame him.
"Guys" Jack called, making them all look away from the ring and to the two of you. "This is my sister's friend" he introduced you. "And these are Santiago, Tom, Will and Frankie. They are Benny's friends, but Will is his brother." Jack explained. You nodded and smiled at the bunch.
After a beat of uncomfortable silence between the group and you, you decided to sit down next to the silent one, Frankie, and you smiled kindly at him. "What is someone like you doing in a place like this?" He asked, a bit awkwardly. Is he trying to flirt? You thought. No.. can't be.
"Gotta make shure that my best friend isn't torn to shreds. I have faith in her but you never know" you said with a grin. "If she loses, however, I might need to kick her ass. For doing this. Because sometimes she barerly has any braincells" to that Frankie laughed and his eyes shone a bit more than the dull brown they were when you first quietly observed him.
Conversion with Frankie after that came surprisingly easy. Especially since you weren't much of a talker. It was a great distraction from the two guys that were beating eachother to bloody pulp no more than 5 meters away from you. Frankie was kind and made bad jokes to which you laughed. You learned that he was currently a car mechanic but classifies himself as an "all in one handyman", meaning he could basically do anything according to him.
You in turn told him about working at the local library as their barista for their in-shop coffee nook. It was the easiest and calmest job you ever had, since most people that came to a library were already calm people so you didn't have to deal with a lot of "entitled bitches". Again Frankie laughed, but before he could say anything the new fight was announced and it was Maddie against Benny.
You turned to the ring, seeing your friend standing there tall and proud. A lot of guys wolf whistled at her as she got ready. Opposite of her was Will's brother, Benny, and they truely were look alike. Or it might be their equally blonde hair. He had a big smile on his face, like he couldn't wait to fight her.
After a few minutes of preparation, the bell went and the two went ham on eachother. You had to give it to them both, they were strong and fast. Equally matched. From your right you heard Santiago call "I am betting 20 bucks on our Ben". To which you almost immediately replied "I am betting 40 on Maddie". He looked at you in shock, and as your eyes turned up to Frankie, you saw him looking in shock as well.
Before Frankie could protest though, Santi had jumped forward and shook your hand. Yelling a loud "Deal" before returning to his seat and starting to cheer for the younger Miller.
Frankie held your gaze, at first he looked like he wanted to say something, but then he shook his head and just smiled "Tell you what" he said "If Ben wins, I get you a drink. If he loses, you get me a drink. Deal?" To that you grinned and shook his hand "Deal."
The fight took a while, because the two were well matched, until Benny got a few good hits in and it didn't look well for Maddie. You heard Santiago cheer and chant "Go Benny Go!" With Will. Maddie however came back with more fire than before and managed to hit Benny in a few weak spots and within a minute, he was groaning on the floor and called out.
You and Jack cheered and Maddie locked eyes with the two of you and grinned. She then helped Benny up and clapped him on the back as they both went back to the dressing rooms. "I think you owe me money!" You yelled at Santiago and he grouchy pressed a 20 in your hand. With that in hand you went to the bar to get two beers for you and Frankie.
This was just one night in many to come. You came in with only worry for your best friend, and left with forever best friends and a crush on a certain curly haired, hat wearing man. And you wouldn't have it any other way.

Keeping Warm
I got the idea to this story from artwork by the talented @3three-question-marks. I’d also like to thank @pacific-ship for her amazing help beta reading this story for me. Enjoy!
A cold breeze came flowing into the attic of the Mystery Shack as Dipper cracked the door slightly and quickly slid his way through. “Close the door, hurry!” Mabel commanded from her bed.
“Okay, okay!” Dipper said as he fidgeted with the door. The handle wasn’t working correctly, so after a few failed attempts to close the door by turning the knob and pushing it, he decided to forcefully barge his shoulder into it, causing it to jam shut.
He turned around to see Mabel sitting at the head of her bed. She was sitting up, legs crossed as she cupped the lantern between their bed with gloved hands. “My fingers are cold.” She whimpered dramatically.
Dipper brought his hands up to his face, balling them into fists and twisting them next to his eyes with a sad face in a non verbal ‘boo hoo.’ Mabel gasped in response, and Dipper just barely had enough time to duck as a pillow came flying over his head.
“Hey!” He shouted. Mabel smirked back at him.
“Could you toss that back to me?” She asked in her overly gentle voice she used when she asked for something.
“What? You really think I’m gonna give it back?”
Mabel flickered her eyelashes and smiled innocently. “Please?”
Dipper groaned. He paused for a moment as he thought. “What if I don’t?” He asked boldly.
“You will.” Mabel said with a smirk. Dipper raised his eyebrows as a challenge, and Mabel raised hers right back. Their impromptu staring contest stretched on for a moment before Dipper groaned again.
“Ugh. Fine.” He picked up the pillow and tossed it back to her. She caught it and hugged it snuggly to her chest.
“Thanks, Dip.”
“Don’t mention it.” He sat down on his bed and took off his outer coat. Mabel went back to cupping the lantern for warmth.
Winter in Gravity Falls was a whole different ball game than Piedmont. The twins knew this when they prepared for winter break in Gravity Falls by packing lots of cold weather clothes, but this was ridiculous. Soos had installed insulation during renovations to the shack, but it was still freezing cold.
To make matters worse, the heating to the shack had broken just before the twins arrived, so they had spent the entire first week of their trip doing whatever they could just to keep warm. They usually didn’t hang around the shack unless they were working. Instead, they’d go somewhere warmer, like the Gravity Falls public library or Greasy’s Diner. Anywhere to get out of the cold.
Unfortunately for them they couldn’t do that today. A massive blizzard had blown through town, and they had been snowed in, hardly able to even leave the shack. They had to find a way to stay warm. They were pleased to find a decent source of heat from the old, beat up wood furnace in the kitchen. The twins sat next to it and occasionally fed it wood during their game of cards.
At first it wasn’t very strong, so they had to sit next to it in winter clothing to keep warm, but by the end of the day they managed to warm the entire kitchen. They even had to take off their outer layers to keep from sweating. But of course, it couldn’t last, and soon the time came to sleep.
At first they thought about sleeping in the kitchen. They tried to lay out their sleeping bags, but it just wasn’t comfortable. Eventually they gave up and resigned to the freezing attic. Now here they were, desperately trying to keep warm.
”Jeez. It’s so cold up here. I’ve got no idea how we’re going to get any sleep.” Dipper grumbled. Mabel looked around the room at their beds and covers.
“Well Dip, I’ve got a fantabulous idea!” She grabbed her pillow and blanket before standing up and skipping excitedly across the room until she stood next to his bed. “Cuddle time!”
“O-okay.” He unfolded his arms from around his chest and scooted back on the bed to make room for her before extending his arms as if to greet her with a hug.
“Wait, what?” Mabel was thrown for a loop.
“What about what?”
“Just like that?”
“Just like what?”
“Usually you do that whole, ‘ugh Mabel I don’t wanna cuddle with you cause we’re way too old for that’ act, but I totally know you actually do wanna cuddle and you’re just faking it cause you wanna seem ‘grown up’ and all, then I gotta sweet talk you into it, then we cuddle and you pretend to not like it but I know you totally like it. So what gives? What’s the deal? You luring me into a trap or something? Gonna prank me?” She jokingly raised her fists in a defensive posture. Mostly jokingly.
Dipper sat in silence for a moment. His arms had lowered and his hands had fallen into his lap during Mabel’s rapid fire spiel. Mabel was ready for some sort of witty response. Instead, Dipper extended his arms out to Mabel again. “Please, Mabel. I’m so cold.”
Mabel was overwhelmed with sympathy and lowered her fists. She felt slightly guilty that she would think he would try to trick her. “Aw jeez, Dip. You’re such a cutie. I can’t say no to you.” She sat down on the bed next to him and they embraced each other.
It was nice to lay down next to Dipper, but it didn’t feel like they were actually cuddling with all these layers on. She wanted to actually feel his warmth. “Hey Dip, take your coat off.”
“What? Why?”
“Cause this isn’t real cuddling. I need skin contact!” She whined.
“But isn’t the whole point of this to stay warm?”
“Skin contact!”
“Okay, fine! Crybaby.” He grumbled.
“Fine then! With that attitude I’ll just go back to my own bed.” She started to get up, but was quickly stopped when Dipper wrapped her in a hug.
“No! Please, Mabel, I was joking! I’m sorry!” She chuckled as she sat back down.
“Alright, enough messing around. It’s cuddle time!”
“Yes ma’am.” Dipper replied as he took off his coat.
They laid their coats on top of themselves to provide an extra layer from the cold. They cuddled close and wrapped their arms around each other, pressing their bodies together and snaking their arms around each other. Mabel breathed a comfortable sigh of relief. Much better.
She had to admit that they were getting a bit too old for this. Or rather, too big. They were in their sophomore year of highschool, but thankfully were still able to fit on a single twin bed together.
Several minutes passed in blissful silence. Their breathing became steady and slow, and soon Mabel began dozing off into sleep. Unfortunately, her dozing was interrupted by Dipper shifting away from her. The gap between them left room for the cold air, which to Mabel, felt comparable to a cold bucket of water being dumped on her legs.
She quickly shifted closer to Dipper to close the gap between them and was satisfied by the warmth she found. She barely breathed a sigh of relief before Dipper shifted further away again. Mabel was especially annoyed once she realized he was keeping his distance intentionally.
“Diiiip, where are you going? Get back here bro!” Mabel whined. She tugged on him to draw him back to her, but he continued to resist her.
“N-no I don’t think we should get that cl-” Mabel linked her hands behind his back and pulled so that they collided together. He let out a high pitched squeak, squirmed out of her grasp and scurried away. But it was too late. In the short time that they were together, Mabel felt something brush against her thigh. Something warm, swollen and hard. She didn’t understand at first, but after a moment of eye contact with Dipper's flushed and embarrassed face, it dawned on her what was happening.
“Oh.”
“Ah jeez!” Dipper backed up so far he banged his head against the wall. He held his head where it hit and clenched his eyes shut. “I’m sorry, Mabel, I shouldn’t ha-”
“Dip!” She interrupted. He went silent and peeked up at her. She didn’t know how she was feeling about this exactly, but she did know she didn’t want to hear Dipper apologizing right now. She wasn’t offended, that was for sure, and she wasn’t angry. At the most she was a bit shocked, but she was more curious than anything else.
“Why… why is it… I mean… why?”
“W-what?”
Mabel took a moment to collect herself before trying to form an actual question. “I mean… I know why it’s like that but… what’s causing it?”
Dippers face was continuing to get redder by the second. He opened and closed his mouth a few times with no words coming out before he finally spoke. “Are we really talking about this?”
“Dip! You don’t need to-” She took a breath to dial herself back and remember the kind of state he was in. “You don’t need to be ashamed. I’m not angry or anything. I swear. Just be honest.”
”Well… you really… I mean… sorry, it’s freezing out and I guess cuddling with a pretty girl really made my body… react.”
“Oh…” Was all Mabel said before they fell back into silence. Mabel tapped her fingers together while Dipper rubbed his face in shame. ”You think I’m pretty?” she asked after a long pause.
Dipper gave an embarrassed laugh at that. The question caught him so off guard that he thought she was joking at first. It wasn’t until he looked up and saw the hurt and confusion on her face that he realized she was serious.
The smile disappeared from his face. She was trying to keep her face inscrutable, but Dipper saw the fear hiding behind her eyes. She looked so vulnerable, and he had laughed at her. She wouldn’t say it out loud, but he could tell she was hurt by him laughing. “Of course. You’re the one who’s always bragging about how cute you are.”
“Yeah I know that but… do you think I’m pretty?” Dipper looked down at the sheets at that, and even through the darkness Mabel could see a red tinge on his cheeks. He stayed like that for probably half a minute, silently considering what to say, hoping the darkness was concealing his embarrassment.
“Y-yeah.” He said it like a guilty man confessing to a crime.
She could tell she was blushing from that. She didn’t realize she had such an effect on Dipper. Mabel thought he was cute when he was embarrassed. But boner or not, she wanted to cuddle again.
“Well can we maybe… get back to cuddling?” Mabel asked.
“Y-you still wanna cuddle? Even after… even with my…” He gestured down to his crotch area, blushing even more than he already was.
“Yes Dip, I’m sure of it. Like you said; your body and mind are all out of whack, which is fine. So stop being weird.” She gave him a bright smile and poked him in the shoulder in an attempt to dispel the awkwardness.
He shrugged awkwardly. “O-okay, I guess.” He laid down on his side and lifted the blanket so that Mabel could join him, which she did with an enthusiastic smile and a light giggle. She wrapped him in a hug and nuzzled into his side. After several minutes they got back into a gentle rhythm of breathing.
Mabel felt safe and secure in his arms, just like she had before the whole awkward cuddling boner situation unfolded. Speaking of which, she could still feel tension in his pajamas, a clear hint that it hasn’t gone away yet. Not that she minded, it’s not like he could control it.
She thought again about what he had said, ‘cuddling with a pretty girl…’ She felt butterflies flutter in her stomach at the memory of those words. His words were so simple, yet so genuine. She could tell that he meant it.
She turned her head up to look at him, and found him looking down at her. His eyes were different. There was an intense energy behind them that she couldn’t name, but it made her butterflies flap even harder. The feeling of comfort mixed with nervousness inside Mabel.
He was handsome, she thought. She reached up and placed a hand on his cheek as he did the same for her, rubbing a thumb across her jaw and making her skin tingle.
They were staring each other in the eyes, briefly flickering their gazes down to each other's lips.
”Hey dudes! I got the heat fixed!” They suddenly heard Soos call up the stairs and his footsteps coming closer.
They briefly shared a look of terror before Mabel lunged to her bed, almost tripping on the blankets. She was sitting on her bed when the door creaked open and Soos peeked in.
”Hey dudes, I fixed the heat- woah! What happened?”
It was at this moment that Mabel realized how they looked. They were both red in the face and breathing heavily. Dipper was on his bed with both their blankets and Mabel was sitting on her bed awkwardly.
”You okay dude?” He asked Mabel. “You look red as a tomato.”
”Yeah, I’m fine. Just… hot.” She said as she glanced toward Dipper.
”Really?” Soos sounded puzzled. “Well if that’s the case then I guess I’ll just leave the heat off-”
“No! No!” The twins interrupted, causing Soos to jump.
“Sorry… please keep it on.” Dipper said more calmly.
Soos looked between the two of them with a mixture of suspicion and confusion. “........You got it dudes!” He said before closing the door. His footsteps soon disappeared down the stairs.
The twins looked at one another. A million thoughts ran through their heads about what just happened, and what could have happened if they were caught doing what they were just doing. Soos probably wouldn’t think anything of it. They hugged, held hands and sat side by side on the couch all the time. But this was different, there was something more to what they just shared. Mabel thought. Or hoped.
It started off as a giggle between them, but soon they were both laughing heartily, the noise bouncing around the attic and neither of them could contain themselves. Soon it died down and everything was silent again. They stared at each other for a moment before averting their gaze. Mabel felt the cold grip of embarrassment as she wrung her hands. She had no idea what to say.
“Hey.” She looked up to see him toss her blanket over to her and she caught it just in time. She spread the blanket around her bed and laid back, then looked up to see Dipper laying on his back and smoothing out his sheets and pillow. He stopped and looked over at her.
He had a gentle smile on his face that perfectly communicated how he felt, and she knew they felt the exact same way: There was something more behind what they just shared. She wasn’t sure what it was, but it was something deeply personal and intimate. And they were both totally cool with it. That made Mable’s insides goey for some reason.
“Goodnight, Mabel.”
“Goodnight, Dipper. I love you.” Every muscle in Mabel’s body tensed as she realized what she had just said. She sat motionlessly in terrified silence, wondering why she said that. Then she wondered why something she had said thousands of times suddenly felt so different. It felt as though an eternity had passed before Dipper's response came.
“I love you too, Mabel.” Her horror evaporated in a second. The icy grip of embarrassment was suddenly replaced with a gooey warmth that made her face hot and built pressure in her stomach. She wondered why something she’d heard constantly from him was suddenly turning her into such a nervous, sweaty mess. She had no clue why anything this evening had happened the way it did. All she knew was that she was in way over her head.
Uh oh.

The attic was warm. Well, warmer.
Mabel lies alone in her bed. She had shed her winter clothes and changed into her pajamas. There was no need now that the heating was fixed.
She was so glad to finally have a sanctuary from the frigid cold. Now they didn’t have to loiter somewhere just to stay warm. But she couldn’t feel totally at ease. She was warm enough to sleep, but she didn’t feel comfortable enough to sleep. Tonight felt incomplete, like she had unfinished business.
She laid on her side, looking at her brother. Her eyes were barely open, just a sliver as she stared at him through the darkness. He was still in his pajamas, his orange nightshirt. He was laying with his hands behind his head as he stared up at the ceiling, seeming to be in deep thought.
She wanted so badly to be in his arms again and feel his warmth.
Mabel always thought it was cute when he made his thinking face when he didn’t think anyone was looking. The way his eyebrows would furrow and he would have a focused look in his eyes and his nose would scrunch slightly. This could be caused by any range of emotions, this time he seemed anxious.
He looked over at her, and she quickly shut her eyes. “Mabel. Mabel, are you awake?” He asked. She stayed silent. She didn’t want to talk. She was still shaken by what happened earlier, and they haven’t spoken since. She knew that any conversation they had would inevitably lead to it, and she had no idea what to say. She felt so awkward, something she rarely felt, and she hated every time she felt it.
She heard him shift slightly and could tell that he went back to staring at the ceiling. She slowly cracked her eyes open again, and saw that he had. Suddenly she felt a tickle in her nose. It was growing fast, and she couldn’t stop it before she inhaled and let out a quick sneeze.
There was a moment of silence and Mabel shut her eyes again. No doubt Dipper was looking at her. She was waiting for him to go back to looking at the ceiling so she could—
“You know it’s physically impossible to sneeze while sleeping, right?” Mabel could hear the grin on Dipper's face. Mabel cursed herself internally. Was that true? Is he just trying to trick her? Dangit Dipper!
Mabel groaned as she propped herself up on her pillow to make eye contact with him. “Ugh, jeez. You’re such a dork. Why do you know so much useless garbage.”
“It’s not useless if it came in handy, is it?” Dipper said, still smiling.
“Ugh, mega dork!”
They stared at each other for a little. Not breaking eye contact other than to blink. Dipper’s cocky grin had faded, and now his eyes seemed to be full of questions he was too afraid to ask. Mabel was sure she probably looked the same. But it wasn’t just that. There was something else in his eyes. Something powerful. Something she had only ever seen earlier when they were cuddling during their brief eye contact. It scared her.
“Can’t sleep?” Dipper broke the silence.
“Nope.”
“Still cold? I could give you my jacke—”
“No it’s not that.” Mabel felt her insides tingle at his concern. Gosh he’s such a sweetheart. “Just… lonely…” She said vaguely.
Dipper scoffed lightly. “Lonely? I’m right here!”
“Yeah, aaaaall the way over there.” Dippers eyebrows raised slightly. He seemed to understand, but didn’t say anything. He was silent for a moment, clearly thinking. He seemed nervous about whatever he was mulling about in his mind.
“Want to… come over? We could have a sleepover?”
Her smile spread into a grin and her heart began beating faster again. “Y-yes… I’d love that!” Her face erupted with a huge smile and Dipper’s face mirrored her in turn.
Wrapping herself in her blanket, she journeyed across the creaking wooden floor to Dipper’s bed. He scooted away closer to the wall to make space for her before she laid down next to him. She curled right into his chest and they intertwined their legs so just about every part of them was touching.
Whatever questions or worries they had could wait for another time. But for now, they could enjoy each other's warmth.

When Miga got home, she saw her brother arguing with you and Jaehyun. "Tell me, why are you doing something like that?" You ask your son and your face was full of tears. You didn't want anything to happen to him, you wanted to give your babies the best life. You didn't want them to have problems with the police. Sunoh just folded his arms and looked at the kitchen counter. His hands were full of wounds, his lip was cracked and his eye was blue. He looked pretty exhausted that he could hardly be recognized. Miga was shocked because she couldn't believe that this was her little brother. "Sunoh, I know you do this for a reason. You don't fight for no reason. Did you want to protect someone?" Jaehyun was the quieter one in this regard. But you couldn't let such behavior go without consequences, after all, it all happened before. But Sunoh said nothing. "As long as we don't know the reason, you won't fly to Chichi." You actually felt sorry for it because you knew that Chichi was not doing well in Japan and she felt lonely. But you didn't want your son to think that violence was a solution. "THAT'S UNFAIR!" He suddenly shouted and his face turned red. "When you tell us what happened, then you can fly." You cross your arms and try to be strong, even if it wasn't easy for you. "MUM!" He tried to plead because he knew you often give in, but this time he pushed it too far. "Sunoh, I just don't know what to do next." You sigh and notice how tears welled up inside you. And when Sunoh realized he had no other choice, he hit the table and ran up to his room. At that moment the tears came again and Jaehyun took you in his arms. "Hey Mum, Dad ..." Miga came carefully to you and she could feel the tense atmosphere. "Hey Miga", you try to smile, but it was difficult for you. "What happened?", She carefully asked her parents and Jaehyun sighed. "He hit a couple of boys from your year or tried to hit them. Geon was with him, who then hid behind a car." Jaehyun tried to stay calm, but he was also worried about his son. "I'll talk to him", Miga said and you both nodded. "That would be great," you say quietly and lean more into your husband's chest.
Miga carefully went upstairs and knocked on Sunoh's door, but there was no response. She decides to come in cautiously anyway and she saw her brother lying in bed, the headphones on and staring at the ceiling. "Hey ..." She sat down next to him and looked at him worried. He looked worse up close. A vein in his eyeball had burst and everything was red. Miga saw the wounds on the back of his hand and she couldn't believe that all of this happened. "What do you want?" He asks annoyed and sat up. It hurt her that he reacted so coldly to her, after all, they were always like best friends. She confided almost everything to Sunoh and he actually confided to her too. They were the big ones who had to take care of the little ones. They have always been a team. "What happened?", Miga asked him and Sunoh just sighed. "Nothing.." "But nothing looks different." Miga pointed to the wounds. "Why did you fight yourself? You are Geon's greatest role model, you would never do something like that in front of his eyes." As Miga said the words, Sunoh turned his head to one side. He felt so incredibly guilty that he dragged Geon into it and was almost in danger because of him. "And what do the boys from my year have to do with it?" Miga had so many questions and Sunoh would like to tell her, but he couldn't. "They are idiots..." "Yes they are ..." She then sat down next to him and they both looked down. "They speak badly and pejoratively about you ... I was so angry ..." "What did you say?", Miga then asked carefully and she was already afraid. "They talked about doing things with Soori and Byungjoon ... They talked about it how you ..." Sunoh could hardly breathe, he was so angry. And that's when Miga collapsed. Everything she put aside came up inside her. Everything that happened in the library that night went through her body again, all her fear was there again. She knew she was going to get that around. She knew she was going to be the whore in this. "Miga?" Sunoh felt his big sister start crying. He didn't quite understand that and at first didn't know what to do. But then she told the whole story. She told of the evening when she just wanted to study and Soori and Byungjoon almost managed to rape her if Jaemin wasn't there. And then she told him the whole story about Jaemin and Hyunjin. She poured out all her heart and her brother was the first to whom she confided completely. Although her aunt Mia already knew more, she didn't know anything about the near-rape. "Shit ... I ..." Sunoh had no words. There was so much information that he could barely process. "Do Mum and Dad know about the thing in the library?" He asked and Miga shook her head. "Then tell them, or at least Mum ... she will understand and take you out of school." "But she'll tell Dad and he'll kill them." "They deserve that," said Sunoh then gritting his teeth. "If you tell Dad that you hit the boys because they talked about me in a negative way, I'll tell Mum about Soori and Byungjoon. Deal?" She wasn't ready to do that, but she would do anything for Sunoh. "Deal. And thanks ..." Sunoh smiled gently, but Miga could see that every facial expression hurt him from the injuries. "I'm doing this also for Chichi. I hope that you will finally become a couple." Miga smiled and Sunoh nodded. "Yes, I hope so too..." he confessed the first time. "And you really had something with Jaemin now?" He asked and Miga sighed. "Yes ... I was with him last night. Or when I said that I was sleeping with Dae, then I was with him or with Hyunjin." "Do you guys ..." "Almost, but then he threw me out. I think that was it now ..." "And Hyunjin?", Sunoh asked. "He doesn't know, he just knows that there is another guy too." "To me, Hyunjin sounds like a really nice guy." "Yes, he's really nice, a real gentleman ..." "You have to tell him about Jaemin ...", Sunoh suddenly said and turned seriously to his sister. "What?" "Do you want anything more from Hyunjin?" "Yes..." "If this is to become anything serious, then you always have to be honest with him." Miga looked at her brother and didn't understand when he grew up. "What if he leaves me? Then I have no one ..." "Miga, you screwed up. You have to stand up for these acts. You can't start a relationship with a lie." "Okay Dad ...", Miga said annoyed, because it was hard to hear the truth. "I'm just telling the truth. If Chichi would do something like that, then I would be totally broken ..." And at that moment Miga saw what nonsense she had done. She had just let herself be guided even more by her emotions and Jaemin was just there and she felt driven towards him. Hyunjin was always there, he was by her side and she was blind. She hadn't seen him, she hadn't seen what he had done for her. He was always there for her and she was making out with someone else. "Shit Sunoh ... when did you get so wise?" She grinned and Sunoh laughed too. "I'm just the guy on the other side, I know how you feel." Sunoh grinned and Miga was so proud of her little brother. "I'll talk to him ..." Miga nodded and got serious again. "Shall we talk to Mum and Dad now?", Sunoh then asked and looked at his big sister. "Yeah..."
"I'm so worried about our children. Miga doesn't go to school, Sunoh is fighting, Geon is bullied at school ... I really don't know what to do right now." Jaehyun and you are sitting on the couch and you were lying in his arms. "Geon is being bullied?" Jaehyun asked. "Yeah, he told me the kids were mean to him and Kiwoo also told me that the kids were really mean to Geon." You stroke your hair and wonder what to do. "Apparently a lot is passing me by too." Jaehyun sighed and looked out the window. "We should take a break and concentrate on the children now and not have another child ..." You look up at your husband and his look was sad but understandable. "I know ... as much as I want a baby with you, we should sort all this out with the kids first." He stroked your hair and kissed you gently. You stay that way for a while, just feel yourselves and you were really amazed how you can still grow together more after so many years. "Mum, Dad?" You hear the voice of Sunoh and you look back in surprise. You see how Miga and Sunoh stand next to each other and look at each other uncertainly. You look at Jaehyun in amazement, who also seemed surprised. "Dad, can we talk?", Sunoh then asked and Jaehyun nodded. "Maybe somewhere else?" Sunoh was unsure, but Jaehyun nodded and stood up. "Come on, let's go to the study." The two men got up and left the room. Then Miga took a step forward and looked at you with shining eyes. "Mum, I have to tell you something." You knew right away that it didn't mean anything good. "Come sit down." You became calm and make room for her on the couch. Miga sat down next to you and you start stroking her hair. So it was so preatty and sometimes you were so proud of her for creating something breathtakingly beautiful with Jaehyun. "Mum, I want to tell you why I don't want to go to school anymore." She looked at you seriously and you were curious what came next. "Do you remember when the party was from the drama where Jaemin, Dad and I were invited?" You think about it for a moment and then nod. "Before that I was studying in the library in school. There was hardly anyone. I thought there was nobody there." Miga took a deep breath and doesn't quite know how to tell you all this. "Jaemin picked me up because Dad was already there and it wasn't a detour for him. He wrote me that he would be there soon and I was on my way." Somehow you already had a bad feeling in your stomach. "And suddenly there was Soori and he was angry because I ignored him." At that moment it felt like a stone in Miga's throat. Her tears came and her hand started to shake. "And then all of a sudden Byungjoon ... he was always nice to me, I ..." She had to stop. By now your pulse was so high and you were afraid of the next words. "Soori was mad because I didn't sleep with him and he wanted to get this now. Byungjoon was so mad and said that I never give guys like him a chance. Then they said it would be quick ... and ... and ... Soori said that he wanted to pull my panties down quickly while Byungjoon held me ... " It was all so real for Miga. She still knew everything so well and she got flashbacks during the night too. You take her in your arms as if she were still your little baby and stroke her back. "They wanted to... I thought they ..." she sobbed into your shoulder and you couldn't suppress your tears either. "But then Jaemin was there and they ran away." You were relieved that it didn't come to any more. You had doubts about Jaemin, but now you were infinitely glad that he was there on time. "But now they say at school that I wanted that. Soori and Byungjoon tell everyone that I had a threesome with them. But Mum ... I've never slept with a boy ..." She continued sobbing into yours Shoulder and you hold her tight to you. "Could it be that Sunoh heard that?" You ask her cautiously and Miga nodded. "Don't be mad at him. Let him go to Japan. Chichi feels so sad and the two are so in love with each other." Miga looked up at her with her wet eyes and you nodded. "Yes, he's flying to Japan ..." you say gently and stroke her hair. "Thank you!" "Miga, why didn't you tell me about it?" You ask her worriedly. You brush away your tears and look at them. "I didn't want you to tell Dad, he would going to kill them and you still want a baby and I don't want to stress you any more." "Oh Miga ... never worry about us. We have to be there for you." You feel bad and now it was definitely the best decision to leave it with the new baby. "Please don't tell Daddy," she said and looked at you with wide eyes. "Do you want to report they guys?" You sigh and gently brush away her tears. Miga shook her head. "No, Byungjoon's father is the mayor." You have been working in women's counseling for too long and you knew that Miga had no chance anyway. There was no evidence, it was too long ago and politics was involved. "I have a suggestion. You're leaving school, but you finish it via online school. I just want you to graduate. I'm not telling your Dad, but I want you to see a psychologist. Okay? " You look at her seriously and Miga nodded. "Thanks Mum." She hugged you tight and you kiss her head like you always did when she was so little. Your heart ached that Miga had to experience something like that. You would love to protect her from everything. In the corner of your eye you could see Jaehyun running up. Sunoh ran after him and Miga and you look up in surprise. "We'll take Miga out of school immediately!" Jaehyun was angry and Miga immediately looked angry at her little brother, but he indicated that she should stay calm. "Yes, Miga told me. We'll see that she can do her degree online, then she can study on the set." Jaehyun looked at you in surprise, because he had expected that you would argue about it now. "Okay, yes that sounds good." He was a bit confused but thought it was a good decision. "I just told him what the guys said. No more, but that was enough for him," Sunoh whispered to his sister. Miga nodded and sighed. She never wanted to cause such a grief. "What if we get the little ones, order something to eat and watch a movie?", you suggest and everyone thought it was good. And when you got the other kids, Miga's phone vibrated. She looked at the screen and saw a message from Hyunjin. "Hey Miga, we just got back from a photoshoot and we're still driving for a while, so I want to send you a few lines. I know we both have a tight schedule, but I want you to know that I am there when you need me. The time with you means a lot to me and gives me the strength to continue. I know you are not ready yet, but you mean a lot to me. I just want you to know that .. . " "Shit", Miga hissed and she saw more and more what kind of mistake she had made. "You have to tell him," said Sunoh, who had read the message. "He'll hate me." She bowed her head and doesn't know what to do. She didn't want to lose Hyunjin, but she had played with fire. "Yes he will, but then maybe he'll forgive you too." Sunoh looked at her seriously and Miga nodded and it was clear to her that she now had to sort this matter out too.
The whole thing made you so angry. You think a lot about what happened to Miga. You knew there wasn't much you could do. But you didn't want the guys to get away with it that easily and you already had a plan. While the rest of the family was in the living room, you went out briefly and dialed a number from a very good friend. "Hey Y/N, how are you?" You hear Bambam's voice. You've developed a pretty good friendship since you became his daughter's godmother. "Hey Bambam, I have a question, but you have to promise me that you won't tell Jaehyun." "Um ... are you okay?" He asked more seriously. "No, I mean ... it's about one of your trainees." You knew that Bambam was looking after the trainees for JYP and that he also had the right to have a say in whether or not someone progressed. And you knew Soori was a trainee at JYP. "What happened?" "I know that it is important to JYP that your idols have a pure reputation and Soori did something to my daughter that is not okay ..." Since Bambam became the father of a daughter, he mutated - just like Jaehyun - to a Superdad and he doesn't want that any girl got hurt. "Shall we meet? I have time tomorrow," he said and you agree.

Alaric’s in Love with You but Klaus Was Your One and Only
contains s5 TO spoilers that you’ve probably seen before since you’re on tumblr. set in legacies.
It started when Hope returned to Mystic Falls with you in tow, someone Alaric hadn’t seen in over a decade. You’d changed; physically and mentally. Your hair was darker and shorter, brushing your shoulders as well as your eyes had lost that pretty, dangerous sparkle. You were less extroverted, but that was understandable since you had gone through tremendous heart break.
It also didn’t help that you’d returned to a place that once was your home, the changes having a much heavier and worse effect on you than you had anticipated. You’d spent a great deal of time staring at the Stefan Salvatore Memorial plac, reliving the past, not even having the courage to enter the library.
The way you closed off was only half the reason Alaric and you hadn’t slipped back into old habits. The other was that frankly, it wasn’t easy for him to trust a Salvatore, much less a Mikaelson. You just so happened to be both; the woman who brought the two vampire families together. He didn’t see that as good in any way, shape or form.
He’d never had an issue with you, it was always your brothers, husband and his family stirring the pot and setting paths of destruction in their wake. It was rare for you to aid in it voluntarily, but at the end of the day, you were still a vampire. No matter how much you tried to avoid darkness and evil, you couldn’t hide from something that was apart of who you were.
But then again, he hadn’t seen you in so long. It was before you had officially moved to New Orleans, before you had truly began to cope with Stefan’s death and before you had helped in raising a child. Now you had gone through all of that, along with losing the love of your life and it didn’t take you opening up to him to notice that you weren’t the same person.
Out of nearly two centuries, the past decade had been the worst of your life as well as the best. You’d grown so much and Alaric couldn’t say that he didn’t like who you had become.
He was surprisingly able to set aside your supernatural nature enough to grow quite fond of you. With the help of the people around you, the distraction of being co-headmaster and weekly phone calls with Damon, you were able to break through the grief-stricken shell you’d built around yourself. It allowed Alaric to truly see you again.
At your core, you were still (Y/N), the woman he bantered with in the early morning hours in his office over take out that you had convinced him on buying. The woman who would shout, “YES,” when she’d crack a case all on her own, flashing him a breathtakingly gorgeous smile that made his heart flutter.
He could still pinpoint the day you took your wedding ring off on a calendar, stating that, “I can’t go on everyday with this reminder. I need to live my life.” He knew that was hard for you, since you had refused to take it off for a full two years following Klaus’ death. Perhaps, it meant something.
His brain would turn to mush every time you pulled him in for a hug after a particularly dangerous day, or when you’d catch him staring and give him a quizzical almost smug look. He had a hard time in controlling how his pulse would quicken up when near you, aware that if you listened for it, you’d hear it.
You were far from dumb, as well as the students attending the school. His daughters often gave him a look when they’d catch him acting weird and Hope had even cornered him asking if he had a thing for you with a threatening look on her face.
“I do not have a thing for Dr. Salvatore...”
“Salvatore-Mikaelson,” Hope corrected, arms crossed over her chest. She could see through his bullshit and both of them knew it.
“Look,” she sighed, “(Y/N) is like a mother to me. I’ve known her all my life. For your sake and for hers, I’m going to be completely honest. I doubt she’ll ever get over my dad.”
Sincerity shone in her eyes, a slight frown in her brow. “You didn’t get the chance to but I saw them together. Nothing could match up to what they had. They were soulmates. She doesn’t want anyone else.”
Alaric cleared his throat, briefly adverting his gaze to the floor. “I..I..” He stumbled over his words, unaware of what to say. Deep down, it wasn’t what he wanted to hear. But he couldn’t let his façade drop.
“Have a good day, Hope.”
He’d sat down in his office to mull over her words, pulling a hand over his face every time he’d get too caught up in his thoughts.
If what Hope told him was the case, then what about the little flirtatious glances? Or the way you snuggled into him when you fell asleep in his office that one night?
A small smile tugged at his lips when he thought about how you had berated him after he went off on his own to fight a monster. You had been fuming, eyes watery, yelling about how he was only human and a selfish jackass to not think about all the people who cared about him.
How you cared about him.
He hadn’t felt the way he did since Jo died, not even for Caroline, and it was one he had missed. One he’d been harboring for months and he felt like it was time to confess. If his feelings were requited, he couldn’t imagine a better future than that, a better feeling than that. It was all he was focused on when he said those three little words.
“I..I like you. A lot.”
It was one night when the two of you had gotten a little carried away with the liquor stored underneath your desk. You were snuggled up against him on the couch, but thought nothing of it. Unlike Alaric.
Brows furrowing, it took you a moment to register his words due to the sleepy haze and the alcohol coursing through your system. And when you did, the tension alleviated from your shoulders before you lightly punched him in his. “I like you too. A lot.”
He shook his head, throwing caution and anxiety to the wind before he clarified. “(Y/N), I’m in love with you.”
His eyes were closed so he couldn’t see the way you froze. “I have been for a while. You’re sweet, loving, unbelievably beautiful and an amazing friend. Being co-headmaster with you, seeing you with everyone...I couldn’t help but imagine a life with you by my side officially.”
“You don’t have to say anything,” his eyes fluttered open, which is when he noticed that you had moved away. His heart dropped at that. “I don’t want you to feel pressured...”
“Alaric.” You interjected, fingers toying with the N necklace dangling from your neck; the necklace that was always hidden underneath your shirt, which Alaric hadn’t noticed you still wore until now.
And that combined with the melancholy expression on your face made his stomach churn in fear and realization. He’d made a huge mistake.
Inhaling deeply, you contemplated on what to say. “I like you, Alaric.” His eyebrows raised, hope glistening in his gaze but you quickly shot that down. “But this can’t happen.”
His gaze softened as you stood up from the couch. “It’s not fair to you. I can’t be that woman for you, for Lizzie and Josie.”
“I’m not expecting anything from you...”
“Apparently you are since you told me that you’re in love with me!” Both of you were shocked by your outburst and you quickly apologized, “I’m sorry. I’m overwhelmed.”
A moment of tense silence ensued as you stared at the ground, hyperaware of his gaze on your face. “Klaus was different.” You suddenly spoke, bottom lip quivering as the feelings you had buried resurfaced, “I thought I was going to spend eternity with him.”
“I understand that.” He leaned forward, “I felt the same when Jo died. And it took me a while to move on. I can wait.”
You lifted your gaze to lock it with his. “I wouldn’t ever ask that of you.”
“You’re not asking, I’m just stating. I understand if you need time.” Tears began to gather on your lashes, fingers threading through your hair as you sighed. He was making it more difficult than it already was. You didn’t want to break his heart.
“I still cry in the shower, Al! And when I’m not crying, I’m talking to my dead husband!” Your eyes were wide, voice loud and shaking as you stifled your cries. “I continue to dwell on the past. I dream about him every night. Hell, I even write in a journal about him.”
“After almost three years, I’m still mourning as if I lost him yesterday. And I know for a fact that it will always be like that.”
He stood up at that, his face contorted into a incredulous expression. “But what about the looks you give me? Or the cuddling? You can’t tell me that didn’t mean anything.”
“That’s how I’ve always reacted when a man was interested in me! I thought it was a short term thing or that you wanted to get in bed with me. But just that.”
“It’s not just that. I love you.”
Your heart broke even further at how those words made your stomach churn. “Please. Don’t.” Hatred boiled in your chest as you were upset with him. Upset that he’d ruined a strong bond that took years to build, that you wouldn’t be able to find comfort in your friendship anymore.
“Klaus will always be the man my heart belongs to. He was my one and only. He was my soulmate.”
“You have to stay here and take care of Hope.” He swiped his thumb across your wet skin, “Don’t worry, my love, I’ll be waiting for you on the other side.”
The word echoed in his head, a memory of his conversation with Hope crossing his mind. Soulmate. “(Y/N)...”
“I’m sorry, Alaric.” He internally grimaced at the absence of his nickname and he found himself wondering if the relationship he had with you would ever be the same. Found himself acknowledging that he, in fact, ruined it.
It made him angry as well. He needed you just as much as you needed him.
Your fingers wrapped around the doorknob, “You deserve someone special, Alaric. That someone just can’t be me.”

Hiding a relationship from James was hard. It wasn’t like you and Sirius intended to hide your relationship from your friends, you just didn’t know how they would react to your a relationship inside the marauders group.
You became apart of the marauders in second year, you got trapped into their prank that was poorly planned and you proceeded on lecturing them on ways to make it better and be successful without getting caught.  That prank worked out well and neither of you got caught, the boys were forever grateful.
As months went by, they kept coming to you and asking for help for new pranks. Most of the time, you would act as bait, catch the victim off guard and they boys would attack. The four marauders eventually asked you to join them and you excitedly agreed, becoming the fifth marauder.
Once fifth year began, you couldn’t help yourself but crush on Sirius. Every girl/guy wanted him, Sirius was known to woo the ladies and some were lucky enough to gain his attention for the night. It often made you jealous, you wished you could be one of those girls who he’d flirt with and wrap his arm around. Your friendship began to crumble during the middle of fifth year, his fangirls often hating on you because they thought you two were dating. Although you wanted the dating part to be true, you couldn’t help but think that Sirius only saw you as a little sister, and nothing more.
You began to distance yourself from him in hopes that not only the girls chasing after his would stop harassing you, but also for your feelings to go away. You felt as if it was wrong to crush on one of your best friends and you weren’t one to ruin a great friendship.
When Sirius noticed how you started hanging out less and less with him, or with the marauders entirely, he became worried. It stressed him out to no end, thinking he did something to upset you. Thankfully Remus knew where you were that night, as you did prefect duties with him. The moment he saw you in the astronomy tower, he rushed towards you.
“Is there something you need Sirius?” You asked, not looking up from your potions textbook.
“How’d you know it was me?” He chuckled, you shrugged and continued to focus on your textbook. Sirius sat down next to you and took the book from your hands.
“What’s wrong? You’ve been avoiding me and the boys,” you looked up to face him and shook your head, you knew if you opened your mouth, everything would come out. You hoped he would believe you and leave you alone, but this was Sirius and he wasn’t going to leave until he got a satisfied answer from you.
After pestering you for what seemed like an hour, you let it all loose. You told him everything, all your feelings towards him and how you felt whenever you saw him with other girls. He quickly shut you up with a kiss, which left you in shock.
“I feel the same.” He said, pulling away from you.
You shook your head, “Sirius you don’t have to lie, it’s okay if you don’t fe—“
He shut you up again by placing another soft kiss on your lips, “I’m not lying.”
The night, you spent wrapped around his arms and looking at all the stars. It was amazing. However, when morning came and everything set in, you started to panic, how were you going to tell James? Of course remus and Peter would be happy for you and Sirius, they most likely saw it coming. But James? Oh no.
To say James was overprotective of you, was an understatement. James treated you like the most fragile thing he’s ever come across from. Although James was the same age as you when you first met, he treated you like his little sister. He was there for you whenever you needed someone to talk to. James also did not hesitate to hex someone whenever they were being mean to you. Often he would get detention for it, but he didn’t care, as long as you were okay and safe.
Now if any boy ever came close to you, dear lord don’t let him see. He could be miles away and yet somehow know that one is talking to you and trying to take you on a date, or even asking for homework answers.
James would come walking towards you and before you could give the poor bloke an answer, James would drag him away ignoring you pleas to knock it off. If it wasn’t for Lily and the need for James to constantly ask her out in front of everyone, people would think James was your boyfriend. It was extremely annoying.
During fourth year, you were on a date with a sweet Hufflepuff boy. Somehow you managed to go without James knowing but of course, he heard Peter talking about it and how your promised to bring him back sweets from Honeydukes. James ran to where you were and told your date to leave, very rudely.
“James, you can’t keep doing that. I’m going to end up being single for the rest of my life!” You yelled at him as he dragged you away and was now walking up to the castle. The three other marauders trailing along.
“Good, that sounds perfect.” He replied back. You rolled your eyes, your pulled your arm away from him.
“James, I’m being serious,” you glared at Sirius before he could say his infamous joke, “you can’t keep doing this. It’s ruining not only my love life but also my social life.”
Now it was James who rolled his eyes, “You don’t need a love life, Y/n. No boy or girl is worthy enough for you.”
You knew immediately that James would not approve of Sirius and you together. James loved Sirius but he also knew how Sirius treated most of the girls in Hogwarts. He would use them and toss them to the side once he finished. James didn’t want you to get the same treatment, so when he noticed Sirius giving out long stares in classes or the common room, he immediately shut him down.
“Why are you looking at Y/n like that?” James questioned.
“What are you on about, James? I’m just admiring her, she looks pretty today,” Sirius sighed, “You have to stop being so overprotective of her, some day someone is going fall deeply in love with her and you’re going to have to deal with it.”
James shook his head, “Never, not until the day I die.”
Little did James know, that two of his best friends were now dating and he suspected nothing of it. You only intended to hide from him but if you told your other friends, they would easily spill the beans. So you and Sirius decided to keep the relationship between the two of you. However, that did not last long.
Of course Lily, being the smart girl she is, caught on and told you that she would keep her mouth shut and not tell anyone. Marlene and Dorcas were next on finding out, the two girls saw you and Sirius making out in an empty classroom. You both made them swore to secrecy.
Remus and Peter were next, they were both exiting the library when they spotted you and Sirius leaving the kitchens hand in hand. They both stated to you that they were not going to mention anything to James.
Six months have past since you and Sirius started dating, poor James was starting to get suspicious. He noticed Sirius sneaking away at night, but he excused that Sirius just being Sirius. He then started to notice you disappearing also or using excuses to go somewhere else. He knew he could use the map to track his dear friends, but he didn’t want to. He would only use it for emergencies.
As another month went by, he grew more suspicious and it was driving him mad. No one else was questioning this besides him. It would confuse him more when Sirius and you would enter the common room together and see all your other friends smirking at you guys.
He decided he would use the map to track Sirius down when he wasn’t in his bed, so a few nights later he grabbed the map and began looking.
‘Y/n Y/l/n, Sirius Black’ the map read, James rubbed his eyes thinking they were playing a trick on him. He jumped out of bed and pulled out the invisibility cloak from his trunk. Almost tripping on Peter’s shoe, he made his journey to the Astronomy Tower.
Sirius and you were on top of the tower, you laid your head on his chest as he played with your hair. “It’s so soft now, I’m assuming you took the hair advice I gave you?”
You snorted, “Oh yeah totally,” you gave out a breathy sigh, “Sirius when are we going to tell James about us? Everyone else knows, he’s going to find out soon, shouldn’t we just tell him?”
Sirius shook his head, “Like you said, he’s going to find out soon, so let him find out. Plus I do not want to tell him and get punched.” You laughed at his words and lifted your head up to kiss him.
The kisses began as soft and innocent but then started getting more needy. Soon enough, you were now straddling his lap, gently rolling your hips. You moaned into his mouth as you felt his tongue enter your mouth, both of your tongues now fighting to gain control. Pulling away, Sirius latched onto your neck, placing sloppy kisses and no doubt marking it. You felt his trousers tighten the more you rolled your hips, your panties now damping with the wetness of your core.
“Fuck Sirius.” You moaned out, now placing your hands on his belt trying to undo it.
“Shh princess, don’t want anyone to hear you now.” Sirius was trying to undo the buttons of your shirt.
Both of you immediately pulled apart when you heard very loud gags coming from behind you. You turned around to see a red faced James, looking rather distraught. The three of you not wanting to talk, stayed in awkward silence.
Sirius was the first to speak, “James, listen buddy, this isn’t how we wanted you to fi—“
“Shut up.” James said coldly, looking over towards you, you dropped your head and faced the ground, “How long has this been going on?” He questioned you.
Still facing the ground you answered, “seven months.”
James looked like he was close to fainting, “SEVEN MONTHS?!” He shouted. You jumped, you knew it was bad to hide something from this, but you didn’t expect for him to get so angry.
“Yes bu James listen, we didn’t mean for it to—“ James cut Sirius off once again.
“Run.” He said, glaring at your boyfriend.
“What?”
“Run Sirius, because once I get to you it’s not going to be a pretty thing to witness. Now run.” Sirius looked over to you with wide eyes.
“James you can’t be serious, let us explain.” You said, trying to diffuse the situation. James only shook his head and continued to glare at Sirius.
Your boyfriend shot up from his spot when he saw James getting closer to him and gave out a nervous laugh.
“Oh fuck!” Sirius yelled out and bolted out of the Astronomy Tower before James’ fist connected with his face.
You chased the two boys and came to a stop when you saw James holding up Sirius by the collar.
“Swear to me you won’t hurt her!” James yelled out, not caring who heard him.
“I swear that I will never hurt her and may Merlin kill me if I ever do.” James let down your boyfriend, satisfied with his answer.
“Good. Now no more snogging and doing whatever you two were doing back there. I do not want to be an uncle yet.” You blushed in embarrassment at his words.
“Don’t worry Prongs, no children any time soon.”
Hearing meows enter the corridor you were in, the three of you looked at each other in fear.
“Guys not to panic but we might have to run. I left the cloak in the tower.” Once James said that, it didn’t take a second for the three of you to run back down the opposite direction and try to hide from Mrs. Norris.
