I find it kind of funny that Edwin got annoyed at Charles for his being immediately obsessed with Crystal but then he meets Niko and he suddenly becomes the platonic equivalent, and has the same amount of adoration and wanting to be with her as Charles does with Crystal. I love this so much as someone who's aroace because seeing them put a friendship comparable to a (somewhat) romantic relationship in a show means SO MUCH TO ME.

Edwin and Niko are forever my fave dynamic they are perfect.

Also I don't have screenshots but I just wanted to say that in episode 8, Edwin tells Niko she "doesn't want to catch her death" when they're on the rooftop and then she kinda doesn't later. He warned her! Not when she needed it the most but the fact it's in the same episode has to mean something! It means something to me!

An underrated dickkory scene:

After arguing with Jason, Dick makes one of the biggest decisions of his life. He's giving up Robin for good.

And who's the first person he calls? Kory.

Of course he starts off the conversation with asking about Adamson, because as usual Dick has a hard time being direct (especially at this point).

But I truly believe he just wanted to hear her voice at that moment and share the news with her.

And this could've been a good place to introduce Donna. Have him call her instead of Kory.

But like always (& forever), Kory is his number 1. The person that understands him the best 💙💜

They love all kinds of Italian food, not just risotto (spaghetti, pizza, lasagna, tirmasu, garlic bread, rigatoni, gnocchi, etc.

Gina’s favorite artists are Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande and Sabrina Carpenter, EJ's favorite artists are Taylor Swift, Mac Miller and Harry Styles

One thing EJ knew about Gina since the day they met was that she's a hopeless romantic so he makes every day feel like Valentines Day for her with bouquets of flowers, her favorite chocolates and romcoms, giant stuffed animals, love letters, hoodies and t shirts sprayed with his cologne, plans the most thoughtful dates and puts so much effort into everything he does for her (did I mention that I like to think that EJ is verrrry rich?)

EJ and Gina celebrate Christmas in July every single year

EJ had purchased VIP Suite tickets to The Eras Tour for him, Gina and their friends, having tons of food, drinks and decorations

something I find really fascinating and heartbreaking and also not really talkes about is how different (OR ARE THEY) the master's disguises are to himself.

I present to you professor Yana - a delightful, optimistic, endlessly kind old man, fascinated with creativity, hope and science, sounds familiar? pretty similar with the doctor, isn't it?

and if you know the big finish audio story "master", the master ends up AGAIN as a human with no memories or recollection of what he is. and what does he do? he takes the name John Smith and becomes a doctor and is described by his friends as the "kindest man". he's gentle and he worries about his friends and, self-described, even if totally fascinated by the prospect of death and evil, couldn't actually harm anyone.

and O - yes, I know he was actively tricking the doctor then, bear with me - he was so cute and eager to please and happy to be there and nice to people.

simm!master was a little shit in every way, but he ended up saving the doctor.

and we all cried over missy long enough (as is proper).

I just think of how the doctor is right, that deep down, when it comes to it, the master IS his best, oldest friend. soulmates in every way, in every reincarnation, in any combination.

to quote oscar wilde, "give a man a mask and he'll tell you the truth". it's truly infinitely fascinating and borderline tragic how, everytime he acts (voluntarily or not) as someone else, the master is so strikingly a copy of all the goodness in the doctor.
