Mm thought of a funkobra au thats like. Kobra Kid secret identity. Kobra the killjoy goes by Demon Shark Deluxe or something still and is stoic and badass and a little bit scary and he doesnt talk at all and no one knows if its a choice or not. Meanwhile the Kobra Kid is the champion of the crash talk, a bit of a mystery since hes never taken off his helmet, but where Shark is all judgy silence and a penetrating stare, Kobra Kid is all clarm and boisterous laughter. Hes loud and goofy and confident and honestly? Annoying as all fuck. But that doesnt stop him from raking up a good fanbase.

And Ghouls his mechanic, or well, a mechanic in general at the crash track, but he and Kobra have a Thing, kind of flirting, mostly insulting, but they're friends, which means Ghoul has eternal dibs on fixing up Kobra's bike(Kobra's protective of her too, and Ghouls one of the few scarce joys he trusts with her repairs) Meanwhile Ghoul has no idea that this guy is secretly his silent crewmate leading a double life. So what if they literally carpool to the track together, Ghouls so busy in the pit amd watching Kobra he hardly keeps an eye out for Shark in the crowd, and hes too dull to realize that once they head in different direction, Kobra's going straight to his little trailer and bike in the back and getting ready for the race ahead.

Kobra has absolutely realized that Ghoul has no clue, and hes just fucking with him at this point. But not without maintaining secrecy, because he kind of likes the anonymity versus the image hes built. Also, Poison would freak out about how dangerous racing is. Also, after being mute for so long, the concept of revealing this part of him, the loud, confident part hes rediscovered- its terrifying. Because his brother doesn't know the Kobra Kid at all and his personality on the track is a complete 180 from his personality at home, from the silent bad-boy image hes built. Whats he supposed to say to Poison? Sike! I started talking again a few months back after years of being selectively mute, and now I've been leading a double life and I'm involved in a fairly deadly sport, sorry I didn't tell you?

Just the thought makes him want to shit himself.

this big ol' nerd can't count in uneven groups!! he's like that one guy counting the cash. in fact, he can't really count in big groups without thinking about it, even if it was by 100 or 1,000 (yes he's a doofus in my eyes [and i love him so much])

he craves, and i mean craves interaction. you saw him using the car as a step-stool to snoop on noah and kris!! you can't leave him alone for too long or else he gets a bit grumpy (he's tired of being cooped up and alone yknow)

sometimes he feels absolutely awful for literally no reason.. when he does feel bad, he targets one person to hover close to and just sticks beside them until he feels better/gets distracted (he usually sticks around optimus or noah but if you're lucky you might see him stick around with you!!)

anyways i wanted to ask, how do you draw Sonic’s muzzle and eyes? You always seem to make it so simple, yet so expressive all the same time, i love it! They all look so goober and silly in your style!

This got a bit long so I'm putting it under a readmore lol

This is by no means a THIS IS HOW YOU HAVE TO DO IT it is simply me trying my best to explain my methods heehee draw however you like!! Art is meant to be fun first and foremost do whatever is comfortable to you!! ^_^

I usually just start w his goofy little nose, it's a teardrop shape so you gotta make sure it tapers nearer his snout, and it usually sticks up at the end!! Other characters will require... different noses... lol! usually a little triangle or circle will do for a non-hedgehog individual (world's most interesting image from a "tutorial" award goes to vvv)

Then, the front part of the muzzle is the part that, if you're drawing him profile, sort of sicks out so it doesn't really like. move? if that makes sense?? It's very round so I think it would help to picture it as a sort of orb? Like an oval behind his nose! It's a very similar case with most of the rest of the cast, with a couple exceptions ofc!

After that you get to do the fun part which is the cheeks!! They're very important when it comes to 2d art of a Sonic character's expression imo!!

When you want him so happy smiling, just like on a real person's face, the mouth pushes the cheek upward and into the space where the eyes rest, this is also generally how they rest on default in the 3D renders no matter the expression

But if he's frowning, or his mouth is small for whatever reason maybe he's going :o or something lol, I like to bring those down

The boy usually ends up lookin like this!! (resized the noses a bit they were bugging me, no shame in editing as u go lol)

Another thing is how I draw their mouths Open, what I usually do is draw the nose and mouth First, it's how I know how to shape the rest of the muzzle around that first oval I talked about lol

Sometimes when I'm drawing I feel it looks fine as is without much change needed,

But if it looks weird with the rest of the drawing, I stretch the bottom around it more (sometimes it does depend on the angle of your boy's face too)

My dsmp muses are lengthy, but my highlighted ones are Awesamdude, Foolish, Sapnap, Schlatt, and Punz! So, here's what I think we could potentially look into:

Pandoraduo/Vaultduo is a pairing that I will literally always salivate over. Sam and Dream are very similar in their characters and how they approach things. As I like to always call them, my two green monsters. I will eat up any plot or dynamic when it comes to these two because they feed off of each other so well and I think it's an utter shame that there's so much content where one of them is written extreme while the other isn't and vice versa. Angst, hurt/comfort, shipping, enemies, friends, literally just slide them over and I will eat them all up.

TNTduo is another possibility! I tend to prefer writing my Quackity with my personal femme!Q headcanons, however, I'm not hard-pressed to write my girly girl if you prefer male Q more :] She's been a comfort character for a while now and I like bitchy chick and how their dynamic went on during canon and spin-offs.

Sweaterduo... get these vile men some therapy /t. Schlatt and Wilbur are just too good to let go of impo. I think they're hilarious and just have such fun quips against one another. I can write a little bit of George, but it's difficult for me to get into George's muse when I've got so many other asshole (/aff) muses that overshadow him.

I think part of the reason why I loved the Chenford kiss so much is because those goofy goobers are acting like two teenagers who have secret crushes on each other in science class. And neither of them wants to be the first to admit it.

They are giggly, and giddy when they see each other. They are just *so* cute and awkward and acting like total bumbly teens, not adults. Case in point, the day after in the parking lot, where he is so clearly waiting for Lucy to arrive, and Lucy lights up and gives her little awkward wave and shy smile when she sees Tim. Like, their entire love story screams 90s' high school rom-com to me. And I just ADORE it. I literally can feel both of their butterflies and anticipation through the screen.

I just find it adorable that they are acting so teenager-y. Because tough and gruff Tim is so soft and just lets his guard down around Lucy. He can be himself. They are both so comfortable. And so obviously in love.

I'm very much looking forward to next season and the pining era of Chenford. I can't wait to watch their relationship grow even more. And, I really hope we return to their undercover story line because I was very annoyed that we never returned to it...I was hoping for more of a cliffhanger, and we got nothing...so I'm hoping S5 picks up right where they left off. I'm fine with getting rid of the doppelgängers though because that was just a little too silly, even for me.

More Chenford, asap, please. I'm literally foaming at the mouth.
