DESCRIPTION: You find out about Bella Donna Boudreaux, and you are not happy about it.

CONTENT: Hurt/Comfort, Angst, Threats of Breakup, Mentions Remy's Past (*Using the Original X-Men Animation Series as Ref.)

A/N: This is not my favorite Remy work I've done, but I think it's still pretty good. This is pretty heavy hurt/comfort, and the ending is a little rushed. TBH I wanted to just write this and get it over with. WIPs can only have such a long shelf life! I may eventually update this later.

"Remy…" You walked cautiously into your and Remy's shared bedroom in his apartment near the school, anger bubbling inside you. In your hand, you held a letter from some woman named Bella Donna Boudreaux. The letter was old, at least five years old. You found it while cleaning out one of Remy's closets, finding it in a box on the top shelf when it came tumbling out of the closet. "What is this?"

Remy, who was reading, immediately shot up. His black and red eyes looked at you with so much shock. He looked like a man who got caught. “Ma chérie,” he started.

"What is this, Remy?" you shot, effectively cutting him off. "Who the fuck is Bella Donna Boudreaux?"

"Chérie, it's not what you think." Remy stood up from the bed and began slowly approaching you. 

You weren't stupid; you could read what the letter said, and that letter painted a rather different story than your current reality. "I think it's exactly what I think, Remy. What the hell does 'I'll forever be your wife' mean, then? Remy, we've been dating for three years, and this letter is five years old. Are you married?" you roared, your anger almost unmanageable. 

Your mind was racing with every possible answer that Remy could've given you, and none of them were positive explanations. Your relationship with Remy was the best you ever had; he was kind, generous, and giving, and overall, he was a spectacular partner who always put your needs first. You loved Remy more than you could fathom; this letter was heartbreaking.

Before he could answer, you began to read some of the letter to him. "Remy, mon amour, I miss you every day. Every day you are gone is like a stab in the heart. I still remember the day I last saw you; you looked handsome as ever, mon cœur." you stopped reading the letter and threw it on the bed. "What the fuck is this?"

"Darlin', that's all old history, Bella Donna is…"

"Your wife, apparently, Remy." you began to tear up. Nothing shattered your heart like reading that letter did. You had read through the entire thing before you confronted your boyfriend, and you knew a love letter when you read one. You started shaking your head, putting your palm up to your forehead. "I can't fucking believe this."

Without even noticing, he got closer, Remy turned you around and gently pulled your hand from your head. His face portrayed an emotion of hurt. As much as you wanted to scream at him, tear him apart, something in you knew that he had some proper explaining to do. "Darlin', listen to me. Please."

You sighed roughly, continuing to shake your head. "Fine. You better have a great explanation for this, Remy. Or I'm done."

He sighs. Remy knew this day would come eventually—whether it be when filing for marriage paperwork or when his past eventually bubbled up to the surface. If he was honest with himself, he completely forgot about that letter; it was shoved in that box with the rest of his past in the Thieves's Guild. Looking at you, his heart was breaking. The last thing he ever wanted to do was hurt you. 

"Well, darlin', it starts back in New Orleans. The long and the short of it is that Bella Donna Boudreaux was a member of the Assassin's Guild, and I was a member of the Thieves's Guild. We were arranged to be married in an attempt to unite the guilds. Gambit didn't love her, so he walked away from the altar. Bella Donna wrote me that letter as a last-ditch effort to get me back. I don't know how she even found my address, but she sent it. I forgot that I even kept it. I promise I didn't marry her, mon amour. I don't love her. My heart does not belong to another; it only belongs to you." He held you steady in front of him, and he watched how the tears forming in your eyes began to roll down your cheeks. 

Remy pulled you into a tight hug as you cried. "Shh, don't cry, chérie, Gambit's right here."

"Don't ever fucking scare me like that." you cried. Right now, you hated yourself. There was no way you could deny what you read, but you trusted your boyfriend with every word he said. Remy wasn't one to tell you a lie. Ever since you began dating, he has been nothing but honest and upfront with all that he said. "M’sorry, Remy. I'm really sorry."

Gently letting go of you, Remy cupped your cheeks and placed a kiss on your forehead. "No reason to apologize, mon amour. You were scared, and that situation seemed nasty. I understand."

"I was just so worried that you were keeping something from me, especially something that would change our relationship."

"I know, chérie, I know." He cooed, pulling you back into the hug. 

You sighed, letting the anxiety go. “Please forgive me.”

He smiled. “Gambit forgives ya’, chérie. Of course I do.”

Jckskfnd OH GOSH MY FALLOUT INSERT

Be mindful, this art is from 2022 but it's been ages since I gave these two attention art wise. Most of my stuff for them is in fanfiction that will never see the light of day.

Her name is Quincy! She's a scavenger and traveling merchant who originally lived in Arefu! He's excitable and energetic, but most of her passion is in selling and repairing junk she finds. Uses all her social skills to get good deals.

While good at heart, she's still a little selfish at times and can decide to put herself above others if she feels helping will cause her more harm than good. But it's a harsh world she lives in, and she's willing to make those choices to survive. She learned she had to be that way from living in Arefu.

Anyway she can't survive on her own and in an effort to find a guard that could keep up with her, she ends up with Charon and while their relationship is purely "professional" at first, Quincy did everything she could to worm her way under his skin until they suddenly found themselves surprisingly close to one another. Secret pining and then eventually just becoming outright partners.

Charon keeps her safe, which he has his work cut out for him cause Quincy is kind of a handful at times. A lot of my art for her is 7+ years old djkekskgkke So I'll need to make her an updated ref sometime!

"New" guy! You might have seen him before hehe

This is Iris, or rather how he used to look like in his younger days. In the current story he's an old retired criminal along with his boyfriend Buckthorn (by @furgemancs ) who was just as into heists as Iris.

I'm not quite sure how to talk about this guy's story yet, since we're kind of working out their past through two old coots remembering the days of their youth and puzzling them together as they do. It's very fun!

I'll toss some random stuff about him bellow

-So Iris and Buck are actually "side" characters that appeared with idea of being briefly just there to help two other characters (Astra and Thorn) but we got too attached lol

-The whole cowboy vibe for Iris is due to me watching Undertale Yellow at the time, sort of wanting to pull of a similar feel as Starlo because I didn't intend this guy to become a whole character like this haha!

-He lives with his boyfriend Buck in the middle of nowhere near some woods. They lie that they have riches due to being royalty that escaped to be free and do what ever they want which is why they hide away in the first place.

-The truth is, they used to work as criminals who stole stuff for themselves (and Iris for his abusive gang), mostly from noble or rich bugs, good or not.

-Iris and Buckthorn used to be heated rivals, competing for the prize of their heists. Buck was so cunning Iris hated his guts but over time they started having fun racing for the items they would steal, ended up getting used to each other and eventually close.

-Both had difficult pasts. Iris also worked for the gang akin to mafia while forcibly dating a girl from it so the two eventually had find a way to get away from all of that and not end up hunted down and murdered. It was hard but they eventually succeed, forcing them into hiding not just from getting away from the law but also the gang.

-Luckily, many many years later, they ended up growing old and safe at their humble home in the woods, with enough (stolen) riches to keep them retired for good~

-Iris can go from calm and collected to easily flared and upset depending on the situation. Both Buck and him are perceptive but Iris is not a smooth talker. He can be deceiving and if Buck is around the two are such a good tandem they'll make you buy any lie or truth they say.

-Iris is very very good with ropes and knots. Good at aiming with his crossbow! As young, he was able to fly well too and it helped him reach places and leave scenes faster.

Paul anon you match my freak™️ because we’re both insane for Cursed Paul. The writers appreciate every time you pop up because I storm over to our discord server and smack down a screenshot like it’s murder trial evidence and I'm an android detective (/ref) it’s great. Paul's jumping sucks extra for him because in the way I've gone about it is that the ones who jumped him were arguably the socs he was closest with; they took his sudden shift to bond with the greasers as an utter insult. Started a little writing thing about it but I'm not sure if I'll finish it, was mostly for my own visualization.

Paul got SO lucky that Soda showed, though it's likely that absolutely anyone would've followed after Umbra as well. Poor Soda absolutely PANICKED after the socs were gone, though. He had no idea if Paul was even still alive. (Fun Fact! In parallel to Two's jumping and how he mistook Dally for a soc when he was found, Paul assumed the same with Soda. Instead of lashing out against him, he tried to use his magic to get Umbra to run </3 Thought she was in danger by being there.) Even with his newfound scars and the ones he already had (ritual scars beloathed) he always be Darry's pretty boy. He loves his man, do NOT separate them. It certainly wasn't the last of his money but it sure as hell WAS the majority of the money he'd been making ('cause like I said, he does eventually end up finding work to help w/ bills). He's so down bad, Paul would do so much for Darry and it's my favorite thing ever. They get to be healthy.. or, as healthy as an unstable fae and human in a gay relationship during the 60's can be?? Seems like you might have to rock his shit.. Paul doesn't know that very important fact; but he is VERY intent on freeing himself (and assumedly, whatever upcoming generations of Tulsa) from this curse. Poor Darry has to witness the outcome. Aaand don't worry, Parry will never split (save for their pre-book falling out {and when I draw non-canon Darbit} ) so don't sue me I'm poor /silly

Making this in an attempt to be more organized with my AU and so that people can look at this before asking any questions I might have already answered before. It will include links to posts (explanations, references, important art), FAQ, and other details.

Brief Summary

My AU is basically just my interpretation of the FNAF story, with some changes from canon/what is largely agreed to be canon. (It does not always reflect what I actually think is canon.) I kind of think of it in 2 separate parts, one about the kids before and after they die, and another about Michael (and some other characters) after the murders, finding out what happens and dealing with the haunted animatronics of course. FAQ

Are you planning on making a webcomic? - I gave a longer explanation about what I plant to do with my AU here, but the short answer is that I plan on making short comics about specific events/situations, but not one continuous comic telling the entire story.

How many games does your AU include?/Does your AU include Security Breach? - My AU only goes to UCN, so no it does not include Security Breach, Help Wanted, or Fazbear Frights if you believe those are canon. I will include some characters like Vanessa, Gregory, Cassie, Jake, and Andrew as background characters in my AU just for fun, but they are not really relevant to the story.

When did the kids die? - I'm still making sure I'm happy with the exact dates and death orders, but as of right now: Charlie dies in 1980, Elizabeth and Evan die in 1983, and the MCI is 1985.

What ages were the kids when they died? - I answered that here. Please note this is an updated version where I changed a few ages, and there might be an old inaccurate answer to this question up somewhere.

What are the FNAF 4 nightmares in the AU? - They are Evan and Cassidy's agony ghosts, or extensions of them since the only ones they themselves turn into are Nightmare Fredbear and Nightmare. Cassidy is helping Evan torment Michael because Evan agreed to help her with William. and she also thinks it's funny.

Is Andrew part of Golden Freddy in this AU? - No, I have a second, side AU where he is, but it has nothing to do with my main AU, where Andrew doesn't end up being killed.

Is Sammy in this AU? Yes, he is, and he's still Charlie's brother. I based him off of the spring bonnie kid from FNAF 4. He is also not super important though, because he moves away with his mother in 1983 after Evan dies.

What order do the events of the games happen? FNAF 4, FNAF 2, FNAF 1, Sister Location, UCN, FNAF 3, FNAF 6

I put everything relating to this au under the "main au" tag. Besides that I try to tag the names of the characters in the post, the game it relates to, and will tag "spirits" or "agony ghosts" for posts about either of those. When I make longer posts where I just explain things in detail I tag those "explanations".

Other details I feel like I should mention

My FNAF 1 Nightguard is not Mike, it's actually Cassidy's cousin, Mina because I wanted them to have a bigger connection to the MCI. The events of FNAF 1 and Sister Location happen pretty close together, because Mina is at Freddy's and Michael is at Circus Baby's.

My version of the FNAF 4 Chica Bully (Raina) is Gabriel's older sister and is the nightguard that replaced Jeremy in FNAF 2, and she's also the Fnaf 3 nightguard.

Jeremy Fitzgerald is Susie's older brother. The two of them moved to Hurricane in 1983 (before Evan died).

The Toy animatronics are not possessed by seperate kids, although the MCI victims' agony might take control over them sometimes.

My Mrs. Afton is named Eleanora, or Nora for short.

Elizabeth and Michael were born in the UK so they do have British accents, but Evan was born in the US and doesn't really have one. (Nora is also American and was born in Hurricane.)

Charlie and her agony ghost self are much more connected than anyone else is with theirs, and her agony ghost acts a little more human because of this. They can also generally convey ideas to each other but cannot directly communicate. Usually if Charlie's agony ghost does something that doesn't relate to her goal of stopping William, it's because she's doing it for the real Charlie.

Time does not work the same for the spirits as it does in the real world.

Elizabeth is the only spirit who never has contact with any of the other spirits until right before she's set free.

The agony ghosts can change how people see other things, as extensions of themselves basically. This is how they make the animatronics eyes turn black, Charlie gives the puppet tears, and Elizbeth changes Baby's eye color. (What happens to William in UCN is different than this, since it's Cassidy's agony trapping him in one of his own memories and then changing it however she likes - so it all happens inside his head.)

but ANYWAYS! i redid the ref art for my Stranger oc from Myst/Riven! and also finally got around to drawing the aged-up version I thought up for him between Myst 3 and 4.

also wrote out a sort of messy bio for him a while ago, which i'll put under the cut since it's kinda long lol

ACE

Basic info

• Born October 7, 1782. He is 24 during the events of Myst & Riven, 33 during Exile and 42 during Revelation.

• He stands about 5’6” (1.6m) and is around 120 lbs. Pretty scrawny and definitely built better for agility than physical power.

• He is transgender and uses he/him pronouns. That caused quite a few problems for him back home, given the social climate at the time. He really doesn’t like to discuss his past or his birth family & will quickly change the subject if asked.

• He's very kind, easygoing and silly, and he loves to help others. But he can also be quite scatterbrained, forgetful, and prone to emotional manipulation.

• While he can be a bit absent-minded at times, he’s actually quite intelligent & quick-thinking, and he excels at problem- and puzzle-solving. He often cracks Atrus’s puzzles within mere minutes, but then can't recall his thought process when asked how he did it.

• Most of his favorite pastimes involve creating and fixing things. For instance, he’s very skilled with a needle & thread, and he makes and mends all of his own clothes. Drawing is another big one for him— his journal contains a lot more doodles in the margins than actual writing.

• He also LOVES animals, especially frogs, reptiles and bugs. He’s good at reading animals' behavioral cues and often has an easier time gaining their trust than most people would.

Early life/childhood

• His birth family were early settlers in the Northwest Territory, moving out west with him in tow when he was just a small child & starting a homestead there. His family consisted of his father, mother, and 3 brothers- 2 older and 1 younger.

• His gender identity caused friction with his family later in his childhood, since they had assumed he was just a tomboyish child and would eventually grow out of it. Obviously, though, he never did.

• His refusal to adhere to his assigned gender eventually escalated to his parents viewing him as hysterical & mentally unwell. Things only continued to get worse as he grew older, which eventually led him to go on the run. He kept a low profile & travelled mostly on his own for years, pressing farther into uncharted territory in an attempt to get as far away from his family as possible, which was how he first stumbled across the Myst linking book.

Life with Atrus & family

• Despite everything Saavedro did at the start of Exile, Ace still finds himself understanding of the man's predicament (perhaps relating the experience to his own upbringing in an abstract sort of way), and he takes it upon himself to help him get home by any means necessary. He often wonders how things worked out for Saavedro after their encounter & genuinely wishes the best for him.

• Slight deviation from canon- After the events of Exile, Ace got so worried about someone else coming after Atrus and his family while he was gone that he insisted on staying with them to help keep an eye on things. He moved in with them in Tomahna and helped out, both with Atrus’s projects and just general home/family things. He sort of took up the role of another older brother figure to Yeesha.

• Over time, he begins to view Atrus & Catherine not just as friends, but sort of as a new, more accepting family. He's definitely slipped up & called them “mom” and “dad” by accident before. SEVERAL times. He was really embarrassed about it at first, although they weren't bothered by it.

• He and Atrus work well together! Although Ace can’t write his own Ages, he often helps test Atrus’s creations and suggests ways he could potentially improve them. His ideas tend to fall somewhere in between Atrus & Catherine in terms of realism- a little wacky but still somewhat grounded in reality. He’s also quick to remind Atrus to take breaks & not get TOO into his work.

• Ace also spends a lot of time back home with Catherine and Yeesha. He does a good job earning his keep by helping around the home, and he and Catherine often like to bounce ideas off of one another. He finds her creativity super impressive, and a favorite pastime of his is to try & draw various creatures and landscapes that she describes.

• Since he lives with the family in between Exile and Revelation, Ace learns about what happened to Atrus’s sons much earlier than in canon, and he often tags along with the family when they visit. Usually he doesn’t go visit the brothers by himself, since he isn’t sure how comfortable Atrus would be with that, but he has offered to deliver things like care packages to them before & he’ll often stop to chat with them for a while.

• Ace has sort of always felt drawn towards Achenar. Despite the older brother's obvious shiftiness, Ace couldn't help but feel bad for him. He'd actually collected every blue page and was going to free him before he was (thankfully) stopped by Atrus. Despite being made aware of the attempted trick, Ace still forgave Achenar pretty quickly after seeing how much he’d changed over the years, and now he's always eager to go visit him with the rest of the family. The two get along surprisingly well & become close friends over time, and Ace will often stay behind to talk to him long after the rest of the family decides to head home from their visits.

• Ace, however, has always gotten bad vibes from Sirrus ever since he first arrived on Myst. He already has a disdain for greedy rich-guy types, and Sirrus always struck Ace as very disingenuous and closed-off, which further limited their ability to connect on an emotional level. Deep down, though, Ace still has a soft spot for Sirrus, and often displays it by teasing him in a playful little-sibling sort of way. While Sirrus generally finds his jokes more annoying than amusing, it clearly isn’t malicious and at least breaks up some of his day-to-day tedium, so he begrudgingly tolerates it.

The demons took hold of me again

The "demons" being Sally Face... SIGH!! I was OBSESSED with this game in late middle school early high school, and now I'm back baby. Crazy what seeing fanart will do. ANYWAYS!! time to introduce my babeyyyyy

Here are "refs" cause i know these don't exactly count, but eh, i dont like drawing feet/shoes! ANYWAYS!! Slight Sal redesign, I'll probably end up putting him in whatever emo ass fit honestly. Anyways I love cute fashion sooooo obvs had to make my girl cute asf. It's kind of a gap moe moment with her cause my girl has seen the horrors(like literally ANY other of my ocs honestly)

QUICK NOTE ON SAL'S REDESIGN!! The original design is fine, I'm not "fixing" the design or anything, it was simply for fun, I wanted to see him in more emo fashion and thought it fit and looked good! The necklace he's wearing is actually a locket! I can see him having a little picture of all his friends close to his heart(SOBBING ONE SEC) I might also put Sal in gothic and scene outfits eventually as well, I actually thought about giving him scene coontails on the two little front sections!

More organized fashion, honestly wears a lot of different styles(Note: usually seen in cute, comfy clothes, but also can wear emo outfits, clowncore, really anything honestly, she likes a lot of different styles!)

Her name is Jellie, not really, but she doesn't really remember her name. The gang picked it out for her(in which they simply asked her what she likes and she said "jellyfish" and they went "okay, Jellie for short" and she's sported the name since) She doesn't live in Addison apartments, but she lives close by enough to walk and occasionally would sleep in Larry's treehouse when she got kicked out(which eventually they offer her a place to stay when that happens)

She's known of Sal since the first day of school for him after moving, and the rest of the cast(Larry, Todd, Ashley, and Travis(and some other Sally Face oc's of mine that are still in the works)) for even longer, however she never had the courage to really talk to them. She doesn't know how to make friends or talk to people and instantly assumes that she'll just be a burden and annoy them and that they'll all hate her. She's also a stickler for rules and is horrified of being late or doing anything to get in trouble, she states that "she'll never get to college and that the teachers will tell her to kill herself" if she's late for even a minute. She's usually pretty stoic or straight up freaking out and muttering self deprecating thoughts.

She cuts, a LOT!! She literally hates herself so much and does a lot of harmful things to her body. She just goes in when she cuts, she doesn't think about placement or how deep she goes, as long as she bleeds and feels pain(please don't cut and get help in you can if you struggle with suicidal thoughts)

She really REALLY like horror and doesn't react much when she watches scary stuff. Not that it existed at the time, but she could handle those 50/50 challenges EASILY!! Girl watches a lot of true crime and goes digging for shit, she straight up just looks up images of dead people(she realizes how fucked up this is in the future)

Literally awful at smiling, you can TELL she has not smiled in a bit. She could be genuinely happy and still would not be able to smile normally. It also hurts her because she doesn't use her face muscles often(hardly spoke for years, only eats dinner, doesn't smile) It is something that gets better in the future, but the cries whenever she laughs!

She has hallucinations and visions(like how Sal has visions) however, she cannot tell the difference between the two. It's easy to tell from an outside perspective when she has visions though because she gets nosebleeds every time and occasionally passes out(the passing out gets worse the older she gets and the more frequent the visions become) She refuses to tell her friends though because she's so happy she finally has friends and is worried that they will be weirded out by them

Finally! Just some art i did of 16 year old Sal and Jellie, it took forever and my hand and wrist are sore(i've just been drawing and writing nonstop for the past week anyways so oh well LOL, the carpal tunnel bouta go CRAZY! Cant wait to get another ganglion cyst) but it was worth it, they are worth it. Anyways! The scenario was that Jellie was hiding from her bullies(idk some random ass background ocs i made for SF) however Sal wasn't expecting Jellie to hide behind him, much less wrap her arms around him. and the fourth, about people being afraid of him. bonkin myself over the head for not picking up on that before, it shouldve been obvious RAH!!! it really does suck that san actually is/was such a dickhead to him. i hope he changes and i think he's beginning to, as he realised that deimos is like. in deep shit and not just an annoying fuckass guy. which he also definitely is. but i think sanford still seems to have an internalised fear of clones probably. i mean, it doesn't really help that deimos is so aggressive, and he's not self aware at all as you said. BUT hes also been treated as a weapon all his life BUT he should still realise how he acts BUT also hes so fucked up CAN ANYONE FIX THIS GUY................. PLEASE.................. everything about imself just feeds deeper into the shitter spiral it would be funny if it wasnt so sad.

and again, from my perspective, i think if doc truly wanted to help deimos, he probably shouldn't make deimos rely solely on him to be someone that reciprocates trust. BUT he also doesnt even KNOW thats deimos' issue hrrrghhh. he seems very manipulative and calculating so i guess its a little easy to assume he couldve figured it out. but doc plays 3d chess and deimos plays 4d chess.

that whole thing with deimos being dangerous, MAN that hits so fucking hard, i get him. absolutely hellish to go through that kind of thing, these guys are so absolutely stuck and boy i want to see how you get them out of this mess. if at all. if you dont i will probably write the sanmos healing fic to cope AHAHHA no pressure, i really want to either way;p

anyway feel free to take headcanons as much as you want! if I didn't wanna share em I wouldn't put them in my fics. there's a video I saw a while back of a male lion purring and I picture that to pretty much be what Deimos sounds like, hence scary

idk that it's really that strange of an age gap. my parents are two years apart but then I've got an aunt and uncle that are 13 years apart. the disappointment I wasted five months on was like 8 years older than me and he was the same as the disappointment that was my age. I wouldn't say Doc is attracted to that aspect of Deimos specifically. like obviously he thinks he's cute but he doesn't think about Deimos's age that much, and if he did he'd honestly prefer someone a little closer to his own age. neither a turn off nor a turn on, just an objective fact. the description states in plaintext exactly what Doc likes most about Deimos

and that's not the only reason but it is the biggest one. loyalty, not just willingness to do what Doc asks but enthusiasm about it, and subsequently trustworthiness. Deimos hasn't ever given him a reason to question his loyalty and Doc likes that A Lot

yeah Sanford is. he means well. he means really really well. but he is scared of Deimos at times because he's watched him snap over and over again and his attempts at helping are rough around the edges at best and almost never well received by Deimos. his feelings towards Deimos do change over time but specifically when he finds out Deimos is involved with Doc, and that's for an entire other sideplot because Sanford is an incredibly paranoid individual who could throw Doc much much further than he trusts him

Deimos is actually correct here. Doc is genuinely making an effort to check in on Sanford's living situation and does his best to accommodate, but Sanford takes him the wrong way because once again Doc is autistic as fuck. anyway that aside, when Sanford finds out those two are involved he realizes two things: 1) Deimos is capable of human connection and emotions beyond anger, misery, and bloodlust. 2) Deimos, in his opinion, is in a very bad situation and the longer he's in it, the worse he seems to be spiralling. so Sanford does soften up quite a bit and yes more or less blackmails Deimos into hanging out with other people in an effort to get him to build connections outside of Doc

and that's something that Doc wants as well, but unfortunately he can't snap his fingers and force people to trust Deimos and he'd be a liar if he told them they had nothing to worry about. they do. Deimos has a lot of triggers and turns violent easily without any regrets and he's strong enough to fold most people. it takes groups to subdue him when he's in that red zone. all Doc can really do is damage control and giving Deimos at least one person to trust even though that dynamic devolves into something rather unhealthy. like I said those two ideally should've given it a few more years

also also Deimos would have to intentionally maliciously hurt Doc very badly in order to break any trust on Doc's end. not just because Deimos is so devoted but Doc is very aware of how clones operate socially and he knows that as long as Deimos views him as "master", it's a 1/1 billion chance that Deimos would ever turn on him. even if you look at the flashback with Silas, it was an accident, not a conscious decision. and this is kinda related but the idea of hurting Doc makes Deimos physically ill which gets touched on a little bit right here

Doc rolled a critical fail at reading the problem here and consequently left Deimos feeling dismissed and weird about the whole thing. Doc thinks that Deimos is upset because he potentially did something that Doc didn't want so he tries to reassure him that it was very much wanted and enjoyed. the actual problem is that Deimos has Doc's blood under his claws and the thought of doing that to him makes him feel awful. the fact that Doc is saying he wants that now has Deimos worried that Doc might want it again. and so like later on at the bar when he's talking to Bert about it, I intentionally wrote it to be misleading that Deimos is referring to the sex itself because spelling it out plainly would imply that Deimos has the emotional intelligence to understand what he's upset about. and he does not

the thing he doesn't ever wanna do again is hurting Doc and there's a genuine fear that he'll either have to say no or deal with that feeling again. side note but Bert wants to be this guy's friend so bad cause he grew up in an abusive household and remembers when he was younger and full of rage, and that's a whole other lore post somewhere around here but yeah. he's also not really that scared of Deimos because he's used to damaged people and knows how to act if you don't wanna piss someone off

anyway super important detail that not only is Doc overall kind and patient with Deimos, he also just lets him be dangerous. like "oh you're lashing out and threatening people? I'll wait on this side of the room then and you can come over here when you're done." which is enabling in a way because. Deimos is on his worst behavior very often because he knows if he throws a big enough fit that people will give up on him and ask Doc to deal with it. on the flip side though he has to throw a fit over being mistreated because simply showing signs of discomfort or protesting makes people nervous around him, which makes him more uncomfortable and less cooperative

really the solution to Deimos's problems is him getting over himself but that's a tall order when you're stupid

and hey you could always just start with headcanon posts. I tend to think those are a waste of time to make but then like the retractable claw one I posted a while back got a ton of attention and people liked it a lot?? and it was like. a sentence. also every now and then someone cool will drop by and have a conversation with you about the stuff you post which has always helped me a ton with developing headcanons and such. whenever you do start posting lmk tho cause I'd love to follow you

Gilgan Species: Human (Player) She/Her 5' 6" 63 years old Modest Highly curious

Personality Gilgan is a very kindhearted woman. She lives with her angel husband Airiss, adopted human son Anki, and 5 Underworld monsters: Krebs (Tempura wizard), Rynn & Lishe (Syrens), Phias (Armin), and Mos (Shootfly). She has suffered many tragedies throughout her life, and as such she is determined to keep people from feeling the kind of pain she has gone through. She'll always lend a listening ear to those who need it. While she does tend to stay more secretive for the safety of her family, she has plenty of resources to share with anyone who might need help. 

She's very openly affectionate with Airiss, and dotes on Anki. She's very close with Krebs, and is primarily the one that helps him through his own issues. For the rest of the monsters, she tends to take on a more motherly role with them. She is fiercely protective of her family, and highly skilled with her fire magic. A single moment where she showed her ferocity has earned her a reputation among the more seasoned players, and as such those that are more aggressive stay far away from her. She very much regrets what she had done, but she does appreciate the hedge it put up around her. If ever a threat starts getting too close to the people she loves she does everything she can to avoid starting a fight. Only if all her warnings aren't heeded would she ever outright attack an opponent.

She finds Underworld monsters fascinating, as well as other magical creatures. Over the years she's gotten quite good at wrangling larger monsters, so she much prefers to redirect those threatening her over outright killing them. Her fire magic packs a powerful punch, which is also a fantastic deterrent for most threats. 

Backstory Gilgan found herself dragged into Xen's game at the age of 8. Lost in the land outside Bowser's castle, he took her in and housed her for a number of years. She became as a sibling to Jr. and the rest of the koopalings. The lot of them helped her figure out her fire powers. While Bowser still stuck to his normal shenanigans through her childhood, she wasn't one to participate in them.

In her teen years she left that world behind and opted to become a scientist under Xen's direction. She studied a few different avenues, mainly in biology. Species that had strong magical abilities, or ones that were made of magic particularly caught he attention. She was always very mindful and kind to her subjects, especially those that were roughed up in their capture by the scouts. Eventually Airiss was brought in as one of her subjects. It didn't take long for the two of them to hit it off. Airiss took an interest in her work as well, and after some time became the primary captor of new subjects for her. 

The many species of pokemon caught both of their interest, so they left the lab behind and set out to do field work together. During this adventure through the various regions, Gilgan and Airiss became quite proficient trainers. Gilgan met a shiny Ho-oh along the way, who further helped her hone her fire abilities. While traveling Gilgan and Airiss only grew closer and became a proper couple. 

Gilgan became interested in studying the nature of souls and returned to the lab. She had located a new iteration of the Kid Icarus world and had Airiss collect monsters for her to study. Airiss eventually found a tempura wizard that was behaving strangely and captured it for Gilgan to study. Through much trial and error, she eventually determined it was a human directly turned into a monster by Medusa. The concept and change in behavior captured her full attention. Her and Airiss put in countless hours to help the monster remember his life as a human. Gilgan grew particularly close to the monster, and much like Airiss, used her knowledge from being a pokemon trainer to draw out more abilities in him. 

The trio decide to leave the lab once again and take residence in the wizard's home world. While there, they meet the rest of the monsters that make up their family, as well as find an infant Anki.

I think you mentioned it somewhere else, but Leo x Godzilla sound so cute! Mostly because how mu h more battle inclined Leo is as opose to Mothra's more calm and support demenor(she can still fight, but we know she is wonderful support). Can you imagine Godzilla watching this rainbow little guy just beat the hell out of others and winning? All I can kinda see is like "yeah, that's my husband, alright", I dunno, it's just such a fun little thing :3 thank you for putting it into my head

i don't think i've mentioned this as a possible ship? x') tis a cute idea, but leo in my head is very much linked as Mothra's Kid so i dont think i'd personally end up shippin it,,, godspeed tho!! little hubbies are great

i sorta dig the idea of her finding a dormant divine moth egg in hollow earth and using her Super Cool Special Moth Powers to restart it's development, and eventually help raise him up, thus sort of making her his adoptive mum?? idk what i'll decide on yet buuuut yes im hopeful i can finally include lil leo man in my stuff comin up /o/

🎥 - Fourth of the Third Landscape REF SHEETS 2025!!

Starting with the yearly Reference Sheets remakes (and fixing the designs a bit too!)

I've reworked these fellas a LOT lately, so let me yap about the changes a bit:

Made a relatively-huge rework on their story. Originally I wanted them to already be friends so that they could be put in any kind of plot. But that eventually led to them having NO PLOT. Things were bad, I actually had to consider retiring them. I consider them my best teenage-hood work, did some pretty cool stuff in here. Buuut, I'm not a teenager anymore. So I had to sit them down and tell them "One last chance: you either prove me you can still make it, or you're out for your own good.". And it turns out they made it! Their friendship is a strong one. So I decided to fully focus on that. Now, their friendship IS their plot. I think it fits them well :]

AAND THEY ALSO FINALLY HAVE A TITLE!! This WHOLE time I would refer to them as "those 4" because I literally had NO IDEA how to call them. Now I got this longass philosophical title, but these are exactly the ones I like. I doubt anyone can understand its meaning, but that's ok, adds to the charm.

Jennifer: I got hit with the realization that I should embrace her eccentric actress side more. I never had problems with her personality, but I think putting her in a specific category might make her more fun. Jacket sharp as always, spiky lad. Deeefinitely got more mischievous.

Sasha: Oh Sasha, I feel like I've always done you so dirty... Finally exploring him more, I'm actually understanding some sides of him I tended to ignore. I used to draw him in such an out-of-character pose, it looked good on him but it was NOT him, this one works way more. I'll probably change it again next year but hEy, means I got to know him better!

Shaun: Bro got a COLOR EXPANSION!! WOW!!! Can't believe he has socks (finally, might I add). I feel like I never manage to get his body-type fully right but ehhh eventually. Until then, this is already an upgrade. His picture is actually a few weeks older than the others', I didn't wanna redraw him for this, so instead I used HIM as a model for everyone else! I usually use Jennifer for that, she got a better height for it if you ask me, but Shaun worked too this time (phew).

Matthew: Matt has seen multiple personality changes lately, probably the most in here. A friend of mine made a grumpy character and that made me go "hey, I actually like that aspect, let me develop my own version too!" and Matt was the perfect candidate for that! He always had it in him, I just never thought it would have been interesting so I mostly ignored that. But not anymore! I feel like it helps making his sweeter side... well, sweeter. Also, I added a little design detail that I really like hehe, he's definitely the kind of person who'd put his shoelaces in the shoes instead of tying them together.

Really happy with where I'm going with them, they've officially developed from teenage-hood into adulthood.

Oh man, now you've done it.

Cracks my knuckles cause this is gonna be long one, I'll try to condense down a bunch of storytelling though. Prometheus or 'Prom' is a Nightmaren who is one of Wizeman's most wanted and has eluded capture for a very, very long time. Here's the big galoot's current (though needs updating) ref sheet:

Prometheus -not his original name- lives as a fugitive Nightmaren hiding out in the Waking World, constantly avoiding Wizeman's attempts to drag him back to Nightmare -much to the god's absolute fury. To Wizeman, Prometheus is his invaluable property, being a Nightmaren that was manufactured under his command. The perfect fusion of a Nightmaren that was originally human and a Night Terror (big, nasty abstract horror like creatures that have been around since the very first dreaming).

Prometheus was originally a scientist under Wizeman's command, but after seeing all the fucky things that went on as a result of the God's infallible narcissism, he fled the Night Dimension and went into hiding in the human world. As an extra big fucka you to Wizeman, he also stole a bunch of Nightmare tech from the labs and is using it to keep himself safe and dance circles around any attempts Wizeman makes to capture him.

AS FOR HIS PERSONALITY, well, you'll either love him or hate him, and he loves to see which one it'll be. He is cocky and egotistical, loud and abrasive. He's the party and the riot. He'll break hearts and faces. He's spent years feeling untouchable and he revels in the fact. He is a god in this world and he walks among mortals. Needles to say, the power has gone to his head a little.

Only to swiftly turn it upside down. Prometheus almost immediately becomes one of Balan's most challenging visitors and takes it upon himself to fight the Maestro at every single turn. He's stubborn and bullheaded and lives to push everyone's buttons, especially Balan's. Prometheus has a big issue with authority and decides he doesnt like the way Balan walks around like he's the king of everything (in his mind, anyway). It exhausts Balan. It exhausts the whole damn Theatre, and a good chunk of people decide he is truly a lost cause. You can't help someone who doesn't want to be helped.

When he's not all party central though, and you catch him during some downtime, he's a very lively energy to be around. He'll hype you up and pull you into activities, and he loves being around people. He'll never admit it's because he is lonely.

✨AND YES, THERE'S A TIMELINE WHERE HE ENTERS THE WONDERWORLD THEATRE ✨

But, through finding a lot of new methods of approach, Balan does eventually make some breakthroughs which gets the ball of his heart therapy rolling (albeit slowly). Prometheus had a lot of long, arduous struggles during his time in the theatre, his heart trials are strange and unique and it takes them all a lot of figuring out news ways on how to finish them. But eventually, the big guy settles into it and ends up calling the Theatre home. He makes himself useful by becoming part of the stage crew, being able to move and lift huge set props and pieces of equipment around that could normally take 5+ people.

Other fun points because this is already getting long:

- His special interest is the guitar, he learned to play while hiding out in the human world and often picks it up. He also spent a lot of time learning a bunch of human languages, it works his brain in a very good way.

- He kisses this guy a lot:

- His Negati boss is unlike anything Balan or Lance have ever seen before, and was one of the only times they actively had to pull a heart out of the arena before they could overcome it.

- Even though he and Balan are on better terms, he will still actively annoy the Maestro every chance he gets because he finds it extremely funny to ruffle Balan's perfectly preened feathers

- He spent a long time seeing the theatre doors appear to him on the outside, but he never trusted them and actively avoided them (assuming anything magical and out of place was some sort of trap laid by Wizeman). He will not speak about what it was that finally pushed him to seek refuge in the theatre.

Cinnamon finally has a new ref. Ft Scarlet on his fucking head Before I forget, he's 6'8 Adding his description here

Cinnamon is Joe's older brother, who harassed him for a good portion of their childhoods before he (Cinnamon) ran away at 17 to Isle 4. He slowly starts to explore his gender as a trans man in the city, though some not so great things happen to him, unrelated to being trans. (I'll put under a cut at the very bottom.)

He can be a grumpy jerk, but like anyone else, he has feelings and guilt is one of them. He definitely regrets what he did to Joe during their youth, but he feels like he can’t just go back and apologize. For all he knows, Joe has a family now and life is going good, and hopefully he forgot about him. He doesn’t want to jack things up more. Though, he does eventually go to find his mom, and ends up meeting his nephews, learning Joe and Tea had to leave for the kids safety. He immediately takes it upon himself to be one of their male figures in life. When Joe and Tea return, he gives them time to settle, knowing neither one of them probably wanted to see him. When he goes to apologize to Joe, it goes better than expected, even if it's visibly and audibly obvious that Joe's not so pleased to see him. Joe becomes more provoked when Cinnamon joins for monthly family dinner at their mother's house, seeing that the boys are rather clingy to him. Joe can't even be mad because Cinnamon's good with them, plus he doesn't want to make a scene in front of his own kids and niece his first month back. He's secretly grateful Cinnamon was there for Cuphead and Mugman, but at the same time is jealous about their attachment towards him. Speaking of Joe's niece, this kinda discusses that Cinnamon has a little cardinal who sometimes comes inside his cabin and nests there. His name is Scarlet because he originally thought he was a female because of the lack of red and he meant it sarcastically, and now it’d be weird to rename him. Also has a moose who hangs around that he calls Bellow. Under the cut for more triggering things that are important parts of his story, but deserve a blaring warning. (tw SA)

Shortly after running off the day after his 17th birthday because of feeling like a burden to his family, Cinnamon had been working for a small bar, and his boss had taken a liking for him to say the least. Still young and naive and growing up somewhat sheltered, he assumed it was a good thing. First time anybody had been nice to him in the city, so he figured he was doing his job well or something. He thought his theory about doing his job well was about to be proven when his boss told him about wanting to give him a raise. Though, his boss also told him to come to his apartment afterwork to discuss it with him. Confused, but not wanting to fuck it up, Cinnamon agreed.

Cinnamon got nervous when his boss locked the apartment door, but assumed because it was night, obviously he wouldn't want it unlocked so intruders couldn't get inside. But it also meant Cinnamon couldn't escape when he needed to. He became more uncomfortable the closer his boss got to him, continuing to say things about how good he was doing and that he wished that he had met him sooner. Cinnamon started trying to put space between them when he saw him reaching into his pockets for something, and that's when his boss grabbed him. Cinnamon bit, kicked, clawed, whatever he could, but when he found his voice to scream, his boss him in the face with the knife he had been pulling out, and told him to be quiet and make it easier for both of them, holding the blade near Cinnamon's throat. So, he shut up, trembling, but he shut his mouth. And that caused the existence of his son, who the hospital coincidentally named Spice, the name of Cinnamon's father. He didn't get to hold him, or see him, or name him himself since there was no 'man' in the family and they didn't want him getting attached. He was left pleading for hours until they eventually kicked him out. He kicked himself for even trusting the hospital, but also told himself he would've been a terrible parent anyways. And he would also expand that to not being a worthy or good enough partner. He would go on to have sexual flicks with people as a small sidejob, who he couldn't understand why they wanted him that bad anyways, especially after transitioning, but he'd get paid so he didn't care, even if it made him uncomfortable and sometimes scared. Though, eventually, he met someone at the bar (not the same one his old boss was from) who was happy just talking with him, which was Brandie. It confused Cinnamon, and even incited a fear deep inside of him from previous events. He figured people were only nice if they wanted something, that's how it had been in his experience the past few years. But Brandie just talked his head off about random things- partially from being drunk and just flapping his lips, but because he also wanted to know Cinnamon, since he was just sitting alone before he came to talk to him. Better explained here So things lead to another, and they end up having an unofficial wedding just between the two of them, very quietly. Cinnamon settles into his job as a conservationist and as a way to have closure, he decides the last time he would have sex, would be so he and Brandie could have their daughter, Meggan, so that she's a good thing coming from a fear. Cinnamon eventually meets his son, and after breaking down a bit, tells him that if he needs somewhere safe to stay, he's always welcome.

I really want to know more about them and I know we got a lot of information through your art as well, but I would find it very helpful to get it all in one post for each of them. both of his parents, tangrowth and shiftry, are alive. his father, tangrowth, was a civilised doctor (civilised = pokemon in towns, speak common etc, not wild mons), who came across an injured wild mon in the woods decades ago; he'd be quick to be accepted into the wild community for his actions and would slowly begin to introduce the language of common into apple grove (learning wildspeak in the process). both mike and luwel are bilingual (keith only speaks common). luwel would be raised with the intent of also becoming a medic/doctor of some sort -- he still retains a fair amount of knowledge, but ultimately didn't follow down that path entirely. he provides medical support for the team.

he lives with keith and mike in verdant village. originally, they live in guild housing, but luwel eventually retires from the team and works as a berry farmer instead; he doesn't buy the house or anything, because he works as a farmer under the guild. this means as long as he's providing food for the guild, he can keep his home & land. this is technically only luwel's house (and sune (floragato/meowscarada), his s/o's), keith and mike are just freeloaders who show up and sleep there sometimes, since they're always travelling around. sorry i forgot to mention he also has an adopted daughter called sochi (tinkatink/tuff/ton)

his moveset is based more around functionality within the world; careful, early bird. foul play, grassy terrain, razor leaf and leaf blade. he fights when he needs to, but doesn't usually get too involved. in "present day", he uses razor leaf as a means of mass-harvesting berries from plants, since he has good control over the move. instead of using leaf blade regularly, he channels leaf blade through a stick, forming more of a scythe than anything. i've never depicted him using foul play, but it's part of his moveset specifically in reference to the fact he's the team's tactician. it's relevant, trust me.

his link move is the combination of grassy terrain+leaf blade, which works both offensively and defensively. physically, it is the weakest of the three link moves, which checks out given that he's the weakest member of the team. leaf blade's half turns to controlling multiple blades of grass that function like tendrils, originating from the grassy terrain -- they usually aren't used for offense. instead, they're used as healing bandages or defensive walls. link moves in this manner, due to their power, will sap the strength of the user -- keith and mike can both typically stay standing after using theirs (especially since it's less resource-intensive), but luwel will almost always pass out when his link move has subsided.

as a farmer, he is also a merchant. he butts head with my other merchant, big mal (cradily), practically every day. just learned i don't even have mal's main ref image on tumblr! whoops.

luwel is autistic. he has the shortest fuse and is the quickest to snap, and is also quick to break down. he experiences sudden mood changes a lot. he's a little fucked in the head, in that if a dangerous situation becomes too stressful for luwel, he detaches himself from reality entirely and falls under the belief that he's currently living out a dream/fiction. there is at least two instances (second already linked) where luwel is in the presence of actual, legitimately dangerous individuals who kill, but his mind snaps from stress and fear that it becomes a fictional performance to him. the latter eventually leads to him losing an arm. he is commonly depicted as not being all there mentally, but he's actually pretty grounded, all things considered. a very large factor of this is his desire to eat bug pokemon, specifically ledyba, due to his general fascination with food (he will talk about preparing other pokemon, but exclusively in a hypothetical sense). it isn't considered cannibalism, because they aren't the same species.

he has some passive hobbies. luwel is an avid yaoi consumer. more often than not, he'll be depicted mid-conversation holding the local newspaper. he's always interested in what's going on around him, and will occasionally try to catch up on world lore & history if he's got the time. he'd consider becoming a history teacher, but it's not really something he wants as a job. luwel loves inventory management, so he enjoys setting up the team's inventory for jobs & setting up his own inventory for market sales. he is religious, in a very passive sense, believing that legendary pokemon do tend to towns and villages and the likes. luwel just barely falls shy from the agnostic umbrella, having a personal belief in xerneas, as he grew up with the belief that xerneas tended to the woods he was raised in. he follows particular beliefs regarding maintaining the forest's bounty. where most mons might be depicted saying terms like "oh, for arceus' sake", luwel uses xerneas' name instead. he has multiple outfits, but is most commonly depicted in his blue jacket, with luwel only wearing a black and green jacket as a means of images representing the timeline where he's still part of the team. luwel likes to climb around a lot. he usually climbs over keith.

he retires from the team as he is physically a lot weaker than his brothers. luwel makes the personal choice to not evolve into shiftry, primarily because he's rather happy how he is, and he quite enjoys having the use of hands. there is a What If au where luwel evolves and stays part of the team, becoming one of the heads of verdant village's guild (keith becoming the guildmaster). the two designs for mike and keith for this what-if situation ended up becoming their regular designs, because i preferred them in comparison to their previous designs (where keith only had a cape, and mike had nothing).

ok now i start talking about keith

keith, cacturne, is 33 years old, and is the youngest of his brothers. he originated from the sand continent, but travelled to the water continent alone as a young cacnea. he would get lost in the woods and be attacked by a group of pidove, at a similar time where seedot and shroomish (luwel and mike didn't have names) were straying almost a little too far from home. they fought off the pidove together, formed a very strong bond being just young kids and all that, and keith was taken back to apple grove, where he lived with wild pokemon for a few years. as a cacturne, he lives in verdant village, but he was a resident for a short while before his brothers were.

keith does not know who his parents are. his mother, cass (cacturne), exists within the world and lives on the sand continent, but i've never had much thought about his father. his mother's partner, butcher (spidops), would function as The Dad That Stepped Up, were they ever to meet. currently, keith and cass only cross paths once, wherein both him and his mother lack any emotional attachment to eachother. keith feels somewhat empty after this encounter, as he expected it to feel a lot more fulfilling. he concludes that he's most happy with his current family, and doesn't need to form a familial bond with someone who never felt like family to him before. his father figure is guildmaster rime (mr rime, design updated since last tumblr post), verdant guild's guildmaster. the two are incredibly close, with rime genuinely considering keith to be his son; keith is told that when rime retires, he will inherit the guildmaster title and responsibilities. despite coming off as stupid and reckless half of the time, keith is an incredibly level-headed leader and an excellent commander under extreme pressure, so he's actually the perfect fit for the job.

keith's drive to be part of a rescue team comes from his very early upbringing in the sand continent. as a young cacnea who never really had a home, he would wander around a lot, and get lost frequently. on one particular occasion, he would be rescued by an escavalier and galarian rapidash duo, who talked to him in such a way that inspired keith to want to help others as soon as possible. very early on in his life, he comes across silica (hatenna/hattrem; still uncertain on when they meet). she offers him a place in a "guild", which isn't actually a guild at all, but is in fact a bandit's group. under the guise of doing good for the "guild", keith is forced to commit a lot of crimes as a child. silica becomes extremely possessive of keith because he's so easy to manipulate; she berates him often as a means of trying to make him work harder. it is worth noting that silica's actions do get worse, and she is considered to be keith's abuser. however, i don't like to detail anything further in regards to what happens between them (there is NOTHING sexual, i personally would never depict CSA with characters). usually, when i draw keith and silica in the same image together, it should be somewhat clear that they do not have a positive relationship.

when meeting guildmaster rime, he recognises the bag keith brought with him (brandishing a symbol of the bandit group; rime's been around, he recognises these kinds of things). he knows keith is a lost and misguided child, and takes him under his wing to raise as his own. verdant village's symbol - a green diamond on a black background - is based on keith's existence, although keith never actually realised this, since it's existed for as long as he could remember. he always just thought it was coincidental.

keith's moveset is entirely offensive. naughty, water absorb. thief, pin missile, bullet seed, needle arm. keith's approach is to hit hard and worry about shit later. he's intended to be a ranged attacker to make up for his lack of speed, but it's physical strength and defences that he actually excels at (again, he's just slow, so he's not actually able to punch all that well in a fight). his link move is needle arm+pin missile, which is a deadly single-target link move. whilst mike's link move hits a whole room for large AoE damage, keith's link move is devastating for a singular target. it's essentially pin missile with incredibly large, dangerously pointed pins. if he intended to kill, it would drill large holes through another mon's body (undertale logic; moves will only cause serious injury if the intent is to kill, otherwise it's just an Energy Deal that makes pokemon faint). it's used as both a melee and ranged attack; ranged is shooting large pins, whilst melee is more or less having a spiked baseball bat for an arm (there's more spikes than a normal needle arm would provide). his water absorb is brought up often.

he's a kleptomaniac and alcoholic. keith can't help but get into petty theft often, and is heavily swayed by jewels and riches. he doesn't have much of a concept of risk when it comes to himself. most of his free time is genuinely spent hanging out at the local pub/tavern/bar drinking, which is where he'd meet his eventual bf, william (bisharp) (ignore my old dnd oc in the tag lol). one of keith's personal favourite gags is being unable to flip someone off and asking someone else to do it instead.

there is a period in which keith experiences near-death, which sets mike off mentally, resulting in mike killing another pokemon. keith recovers from this. he's not one to think before he speaks, so he'll sometimes make comments that can reflect poorly on mike, making mike feel horrible. it is worth noting that both of mike's brothers forgive him for the killing.

he is emotionally void. that is, specifically to say, keith experiences a lot of positive emotions, but he can't comprehend the idea of negative ones. he experiences true anger, rarely. keith does not cry or experience sadness: he only feels hollow and empty, unable to grasp what's wrong. it's incredibly difficult to get under his skin for this reason, unless you target his brothers. it takes him around 30 years to understand that he experienced trauma and abuse, and meeting silica again is the first time he's ever had his emotions unearthed - but he still doesn't know how to process them. his lack of negative emotions actually allows him to mega evolve with ease when the time comes; i am of the belief that mega evolution can be strenuous on a pokemon's mental state and can lead to sudden violent outbursts, however, keith can keep his "emotions" in check, so he has much greater control over mega evolution than others might.

he is unintentionally very intimidating. well, sometimes it's intentional.

Old sketches of Silver & kids(connected to Lost Prince AU)

Don't exactly know when I drew these, DA posts say 2014 but the pic of baby Silver has a description that mentions 2012.

Anyway I thought I'd show some old sketches related to Lost Prince AU, I have posts that explain Silver's relationship in this but I'll make posts about this later. Actually I got new sketch refs replacing these for later I just wanted to show these.

Baby Silver that I guess was from 2012, I cringe a little noticing this was from when I had a bad habit of putting hearts over "i" & "j". This is also from before figuring out how to setup eyes so they're big & slightly off.

Silver from the doomed timeline, I still have no idea why I dressed him like this. I'm going to fix this later cause the sketch refs I made are for post-timeline reboot.

Venice is kind of someone I need to explain later put the short version is he's an OC that was made using a prototype of Silver named Venice the Mink. He's Venice the hedgehog here & meant to be Silver's older brother. He has one of Shadow's symbols on his outfit cause Shadow helped raise him & he considered Shadow a father figure. The middle headshot is Venice using telekinesis cause I thought it was funny is his head quills stick up when he uses his powers.

Here's Venice when he was younger & also when Silver was a baby. I have no idea how he knocked his teeth out, I blame his friend Lara.(Did I even have her in this when I made this?)

You can probably see what inspirations I used for their designs. I've updated them & changed their names a while back. I need to remake the sketch ref of them.

I wasn't going to add this but it was funny & has my old design for Shadow in this. Silver tried to teach her not to call him dad when he took her to the past to visit friends. Silver she's barely old enough to talk that isn't going to work to hide spoilers from the future.(This image is also not ship related, I want to stress that)
