OK I REALLY GOTTA UNLOAD MY THOUGHTS ON THE IMPLICATIONS OF THIS:

The Collector is building the Boiling Isles Titan in the snow, King's father. This is the one person that they want most to talk to after all that's happened to them.

I think we can assume that they had some kind of close relationship at some point for Colly to be seeking comfort in his presence, like a replacement father figure. Things were not always so bad.

The likelihood that they knew each other personally has so many unfortunate implications now!

Take the mysterious Titan-shaped man from the last episode that was trying to catch Luz's attention for instance. He was just running around out of breath. Is this more evidence that this is The Titan, and he has information (or advice?) to give to Luz before she confronts the Collector? Perhaps to not repeat his mistakes that lead him to imprisoning the Collector.

My sad theory is that he is stuck in this limbo trying to find and make contact with the Collector. But after thousands of years of searching, never found him and never got the chance to apologize. To at least keep them company in their prison cell and tell a few bedtime stories to calm a scared child.

My idea has always been that the Titan intended to spare the Collector from the fate of the others in some way; hoping that one day the son he left behind would mature and be able to reconcile with the Collector once it was safe to do so. They could at least have each other once the Titan passed.

One of my friends Romeo (@kindestegg) made the astute observation that these mysterious orbs behind the Collector all have faces and some of them, visible moon symbols. Incredibly similar to the disk in which the Collector was imprisoned, except all shattered and places in spheres instead. Could this be their graveyard? Maybe this was the only way to permanently 'kill' these immortal creatures. But sparing the one child, the Titan opted for what was meant to be a temporary holding cell. Maybe he didn't even know he would die, and the Collector retaliated - accidentally imprisoning them both now with no way for the Titan to undo what he did.

This makes the dynamic between the Collector and Belos infinitely sadder on Colly's side. A reminder that this is a child looking for a guiding adult figure and still missing what could have been his previous guardian. Doing anything to impress and not lose the next 'father' they could attach themselves to, and becoming incredibly easy to exploit in the process. It's a shame that their situation with Belos isn't discussed more within the fandom, because the abuses going on here were very much on level with the Golden Guards.

The parallel is extended with Belos' claims of getting orders directly from the Titan, being his living prophet in a way similar to the replacement of the Titan he was to the Collector.

Ultimately, I think the episode will expand on this greatly as both another connection for King and the Collector to reconcile over, and the catalyst for gaining the Collector's help in defeating Belos. If Belos wants to possess the corpse of the Titan and desecrate the entire Isles and therefore destroy his body, I think the Collector might take an issue with that.

I'm honestly so excited to see more of Li-Sar and their interest in the detective, specifically when it comes to how each RO is going to react to Li-Sar and their....everything lmao.

Specifically, since I'm on a Mason kick lately, I've been wondering about how Mason is going to react with someone as blatantly into the detective as he is. The entire series so far has been Mason completely oblivious to the fact that he wants more from the detective than just sex. And then we've got Li-Sar who's got no qualms about saying that the detective will be theirs after 2 seconds of being a corporal being.

Mason is going to have to be watch someone who is adamant about how much they want ALL of the detective, while he himself doesn't know that's what he wants too.

He knows the detective is important to him, that he feels peace and comfort whenever they're close, that he fully feels like himself whenever he's with the detective. But he doesn't connect that to being in love with the detective

So to see Li-Sar, someone who knows EXACTLY what they want from the detective. Someone who is determined to get that as well. I can't imagine Mason would take very well to that lol.

I'm very curious as to how that...unease, I suppose, from Mason will manifest as well.

I'm just overall incredibly excited to see how everything is going to go and how it's going to affect Mason to the point where he HAS to acknowledge what's between him and the detective

im having a hard time deciding on which game to start working and recording on 😭 on one hand, i want to build my sim's house in ts4 and get started on the challenge i wanna do, but on the other hand, after seeing finley from @hiddenspriings, i now want to go into the ts3 save i set up previously for youtube and start working on remodeling the house since i already prepared the world and such and adjust the sim im gonna play as or make a spouse, etc

also seeing ts3 running on a 240 hz screen is so crazy cause its extremely smooth and so pretty
