Also I'm so fucking tired of yall saying that Eddie is just not good with words and Buck's love is more believable because he says it. Basically all of the quotes we use are something Eddie said. The insanity that Eddie is bad with words needs to fucking end. Buck is the acts of service guy and Eddie is the words guy. PLEASE STOP SAYING EDDIE IS BAD WITH WORDS. "Oh, Eddie just doesn't say his feelings" what the fuck is "You do matter to me" then? A fucking potato????????????????????????????????????

As Claire, a Helperbot 5 with a defective battery (and heavy dose of sarcasm), Shen moves as a human would. As Oliver, a Helperbot 3, an earlier model, Criss moves stiffly, his reflexes stilted. He’s all elbows and knees and sharp lines. Her limbs move in bell curves. The challenge of playing an aging robot has been a field day for Criss, an opportunity to draw upon his formal training in physical theater. “In many ways I joke that Oliver is my excuse to overact for two hours,” Criss said, adding, “the joke being how beep boop bop are we going here without it feeling too, frankly, ridiculous.”

i’m losing my sanity without you,
you’re the only one who makes me feel whole.
in your absence, i unravel,
slipping back into the void of my worst habits.
i’m spiralling towards numbness again,
unable to bear the weight of this reality.
I need you like the earth needs the sun;
without you, I am empty, dull, lifeless.
you are my light, my warmth, my reason;
the force that keeps me going.
but even the earth can only survive
so long without the sun.
and so I wait,
always waiting
my sweetheart,
for you to reunite with me once again.

don’t get me wrong, I’ve loved all the episodes so far. But if I don’t see their reunion soon, I think i’ll perish.

“The show is highly choreographed, actually,” said Arden, who wanted to ensure that Oliver and Claire weren’t anticipating their responses the way a human might, and that, like true robots, any movement was purely economical. “There’s a cleanness and a blankness to how they approached each moment,” he said, “which allowed them to truly listen to each other in such a beautiful way. And I think that’s what people are responding to.” That resonance might help explain the show’s remarkable turnaround from an underdog original musical to Tony-nominated hit with a growing fandom. Though delivered by robots, the messages — to savor what precious, fleeting time we have with one another, to move through the world with a sense of awe — couldn’t be more sentient. “Computers,” Criss said, “are a perfect analogy to the human experience.”
