I highly appreciate the changes made in the guidelines for CUET 2025.

While most of these guidelines are commendable, i oppose the guideline of making all the questions necessary. Students coming from different backgrounds (icse, cbse) have studied different syllabi and it is really difficult to study the entire extra syllabus in 2-3 months after board exams.

I understand that reducing the number of optional questions might be necessary to reduce the number of 100 percentilers by increasing the difficulty level, and i suggest reducing the number of optional questions from 10 to around 5. Removing the optional questions altogether could be a step that can be taken in the coming years, simultaneously leveling the 12th syllabus across all boards, making the extra syllabus same for all the students appearing in CUET.

Removing the optional questions this year would be unfair to us.

I dont think any icse juniors follow me but incase they do I would like to tell you how much the r/icse subreddit has helped me like I found it recently only but there are literally so many resources and you can ask doubts and discuss stuff and even though it is STILL reddit so there are people who SUCK and and MAKE SHIT UP all the time it's just a nice supportive place and it made me feel less lonely in my times of padhai khatam hi nahi ho rahi . so yeah if u need help u should try there

Its been months since I switched on tv,it's been days since I've gone out, I don't talk to anyone on a regular basis, I don't meet my friends except for in school, am i living a life?No. Somedays i don't even have enough time to sleep.Not to disagree that sometimes it does bother to see others living their best lives but knowing that you can't,makes it difficult but then when you are continuously put with like minded people, the thought dwells. The loneliness becomes your life and the books become your friend. The fun is seeing your scores increase , responding in class. It took a while to get this thought inculcated in me,but I'm glad that finally it did. You know? Expeditions take a lot and destinations would never know what journey takes from us.
