Transforming Education: The Role of AR/VR and Gamification in E-Learning Platforms
Benefits of using AR/VR integration
In the modern age of digital transformation, traditional classroom learning is evolving rapidly. One of the most exciting advancements is the integration of AR/VR (Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality) into e-learning online platforms. These technologies, when combined with gamification, are opening new doors to immersive, engaging, and effective learning experiences.
What is AR/VR Integration?
AR/VR integration refers to the use of augmented and virtual reality technologies within educational content. AR enhances the real-world environment by overlaying digital elements, while VR provides a fully immersive digital experience that can simulate real-life situations.
For instance, instead of reading about ancient history, learners can walk through a virtual ancient city. Instead of watching a video on human anatomy, students can interact with a 3D model of the human body using AR.
Why Use AR/VR in E-Learning?
There are many benefits of using AR/VR integration in e-learning, including:
Increased Engagement: Learners are more likely to stay focused and interested.
Hands-On Experience: Learners can practice skills in a virtual environment before applying them in the real world.
Enhanced Memory Retention: Interactive visuals and experiences are easier to remember than text or video alone.
Learning by Doing: Students can perform tasks and make decisions in realistic scenarios.
AR/VR with Gamification: A Perfect Match
Combining AR/VR with gamification takes learning to a whole new level. Gamification applies game design elements—like points, rewards, levels, and progress tracking—to educational content. When learners interact with virtual environments and are rewarded for completing tasks or solving challenges, their motivation increases significantly.
Imagine a sales training module where employees use VR to interact with virtual customers, or a geography lesson where students earn badges by exploring different countries in AR. These engaging methods turn learning into an experience, not a chore.
AR/VR Games: Education Meets Entertainment
AR/VR games are making learning fun and effective. These games are especially useful in teaching complex topics, developing soft skills, and training in high-risk professions. For example, a VR game can simulate emergency response scenarios for firefighters, or an AR game can teach children how to solve math problems by interacting with objects in their environment.
The Future of Learning
As technology continues to evolve, e-learning online platforms will become more interactive, intelligent, and learner-focused. AR/VR integration and gamification are no longer futuristic ideas—they are tools that are already shaping the way we learn today.
Organizations and educational institutions that embrace these technologies are not just keeping up with trends—they’re setting new standards in education.

This will be a veeeeeery long process, but I got interested to build a house for VR. Right now I'm learning the basics of building walls.
It's not for sure if I ever get to finish it, I have barely free time, so for now it's only an experiment.
But my plan is a house with 6 bedrooms, a kitchen, bathrooms, a living room, a pool, and objects to interact with, etc.
Laia is my prop, so it will not become too small.

About me and this blog
TL;DR:
This is a lesbian NSFW blog. That means it isn't appropriate for children and I feel uncomfortable with interaction from men.
E, they/she, 21 years old, student in Finland, single
a femme lesbian, sub pillow princess, useless lesbian
asks are open for everyone over 18
dm's open for 19 and older, do not message me if you are only interested in sexting and not in getting to know each other, do not come into my dms trying to dom me right away.
Hi! Welcome to the place where I share my lesbian NSFW thoughts and fantasies to get over my shame about being a sexual being. This blog is not appropriate for children. I would also appreciate (non-sapphic) men not interacting with me or my posts as that would make me uncomfortable and a less safe space for me mentally. That being said I do not want to spend my time policing my follower list nor am I anyone's parent here so please evaluate for yourselves weather it is or isn't safe for everyone involved for you to be here.
You can call me E or any pet name that makes you happy :) I'm 21 years old and and I live in Finland. I'm a sub, femme4all, single, and a useless lesbian. My aim with this blog is to explore my slutty side in a safe way.
I'm a university student doing my bachelor's in social sciences. I'm planning to do my master's in gender studies and I'm a passionate feminist. Some of my hobbies are music (I play two instruments and in an amateur orchestra), reading, crochet, and sailing. My favorite tv show is Buffy the Vampire Slayer, my favorite movies are Ratatouille, Spirited away and Call me by your name and my favorite video games are tlou games and No Man's sky on vr. I'm also a big animal lover and certified party girl.
Kinks I'm into: This blog is to help me figure out what I'm into, so I will be updating this post as learn more about myself. Some of my kinks are gentle(ish) coercion, unbalanced positions of power, free use, breeding (no pregnancy), dumbification, degradation and praise (not necessarily at the same time, lol), body worship...
DMs and asks: I definitely welcome interaction, because being slutty alone is boring. My asks are open, so if you have ideas of things I might like, I thinks you might wanna do to me, or just general wonderings or thought you would like to share, please do ;) or just say hi. My DMs are also open and I am open to making connections with people. By that I mean I won't participate in sexting or exchanging nudes without having at least some more pg conversation first. I also am not interested in messaging with people under 19 years old. This is based on my own experiences of peoples maturity and life situations, so even if it might seem arbitrary, but it's simply about what I'm comfortable with.
Some of my hard no's are watersports, scat, age play, incest, spanking
Claimed Anons: 🦖, 🛐

Expedition 33: On Painting, Fiction, and the Reality of Art
This one's going to be less concrete than my last big post, so I might as well say that upfront. This is less an "argument" about one of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33's themes or story choices and more an exploration of how our minds interact with art and what that might mean in the context of a story like this.
I tagged this with spoilers so hopefully you're not seeing it at all if you're filtering those tags, but just in case, the full spoilers are under the cut.
Act I: The Part That's Textual
Throughout the story of Expedition 33, even before we know the truth about the world, there's a running theme about who is "real." If we really stretch we can even extend this all the way back to the prologue in Lumière, where people debate whether the Gestrals or "the Esquie" are real, though that just seems like a natural conversation to have in a fantasy world where you know little beyond the borders of your city (by the way, love giving Esquie a definite article--he truly is the Esquie).
(A side note: I don't really think reducing the debate to the idea that the Canvas world is "VR" and its people are "AI" is particularly productive, not because I necessarily think it's inaccurate, but because this is speculative fiction. While AI in real life is nowhere near "intelligent," AI in speculative fiction frequently is, and the question of whether AI is "alive" or "sentient" or not is a common one in science fiction especially. Even if you think of Canvas beings as functionally "AI," this remains a fantasy story--in fiction, AI can be alive, too.)
One of the earliest seeds of this question, though, is Painted Alicia's monologue when she visits Maelle at camp--the "those who know not that they are not" monologue. But it also comes up through the white Nevrons, as our characters come to wonder to what degree Nevrons are "alive" the same way that they are.
Though, of course, the question of reality becomes significantly more prominent in Act III, after we know that we've been in a Painted world, one of hundreds or even thousands of Painted worlds. And at this point, we learn that even Painters themselves don't seem to agree on how "real" beings within a Canvas are. Clea, notably, doesn't think of them as alive whatsoever, which is why she thinks nothing of Painting over her Painted counterpart (and her counterpart's lover, Simon). Alicia doesn't seem to have any issue with helping Renoir erase the Canvas, either, until she ends up living a whole second lifetime within it.
Even our player character, Painted Verso, doesn't seem so sure one way or the other. While he once strongly believed that painted beings had just as much right to live as their Painters (the "Verso" expedition journal), he either no longer believes this or has had enough cracks form in the belief that he's acting to the contrary. He refers to the world and its people as "made up" in his conversation with Maelle in the empty Lumière early in Act III and can optionally tell Monoco that neither he nor Monoco are "real" in a relationship conversation.
But he sure acts real, doesn't he? He has his own ideas and beliefs that have both changed over time. He even has his own will and acts counter to what the one who Painted him into existence wants. Surely that means he's "real," right? He not only displays sentience, but sapience as well, right?
And then there's the element that I consider the ultimate proof of, at the very least, sentience for Canvas beings: the white Nevrons. These are entities that Clea created specifically to be mindless killers, to kill Expeditioners so that their chroma can't return to Aline when they die. For the vast majority of them, that's exactly what they are. But some of them "woke up." Talking to them reveals emotions--it reveals they have desires, fears, worries, and hopes. They feel gratitude and betrayal. They're alive.
So what's going on here? Why are some Painters so certain that Painted beings aren't "alive," even though we can see clearly that they are?
Act II: Other Explanations
A brief section to mention some speculative explanations that I've seen other people post.
The Painters who think Canvas beings are real are simply wrong, possibly blinded by their own sentiment/grief/etc.
The Painters who think Canvas beings aren't real are simply wrong, perhaps rationalizing their godlike powers over them.
Canvas beings have a "soul" because of the fragment of the Painter's soul in the Canvas. In other words, characters like Lune and Sciel are "alive" because they're powered by Verso's soul.
Canvas beings are created to different degrees of "reality" and Clea possibly messed up on specific Nevrons, or those Nevrons inherited some of Painted Clea's desire for independence. This may also be supported by Painted Verso's ability to exist, at least temporarily, in that sort of limbo area outside the Canvas at the end, something he describes as "Maman's gift." Painters do seem able to imbue Painted creatures with some portion of their power--we see this with Painted Clea being able to make Nevrons, too, or Painted Renoir's limited ability to "erase" people, or even how Maelle can share her "Painted Power" with the rest of the team.
I think there are merits to, and arguments against, all of the above, but I'm not really writing this post to discuss those. I have a weirder idea.
Act III: The Part Where I Spin Wildly Off Into Speculation
There's this idea I really like about fiction and what a written story actually is. When I write a story, I often bear in mind the idea that the story isn't really the words on the page, nor is it the images I have in my head. The story is instead what happens when someone reads those words--it exists in the interaction between the words and the reader's mind. This is part of why I enjoy literary analysis so much, as it's possible to read a text through many different lenses. Those lenses can be personal, cultural, historical, academic, or any combination of those. And each lens shows you a different story. Each person's lens shows them a slightly different story from each other person. It's part of the beauty of storytelling.
Really, I feel that way about art in general. While an artistic experience is centered around the work in question--for example, you can't exactly view a painting without there being paint on a medium for you to view, right?--the experience of it is something that happens in some hypothetical space between the viewer and the work.
When you look at a painting, what you see is never exactly what the painter saw, or what someone viewing that painting a hundred years ago saw, or even what a person standing right next to you sees. Your experience of that painting is something between you and the painting, a construct of your mind and the artist's, meeting across time through the medium of art to create something unique, personal, and living.
(To be clear, this idea is not an original one of mine, but a philosophical conception of art and subjective experience that a lot of people have written about. I just really like it!)
What if we apply that to capital-P Painting as well? What if that's true of Canvas worlds?
The people in a Canvas are real, are alive, the same way that characters in a story are. They are real because we see them as real, because we understand them as real. Their emotions are our emotions, but also their Painter's emotions--a conversation between the two, manifested as people.
As others have noted, maybe the Painted people are an extension of Verso's soul, but I think it goes further than that. They are part of Verso, yes, but also part of Aline, and Renoir, and Clea, and Alicia. And they're part of us, as well.
Maybe that's part of why the Verso ending, "A Life to Love," strikes such a hopeful note. While Verso's Canvas is gone, as long as its people live on within Alicia, they are just as alive as before--they were always, to a degree, a part of her. As long as she remembers them, she contains their essence, and can Paint them anew in a new Canvas, and maybe that is just as much the "real them" as if they'd been re-Painted in their own Canvas.
This is, of course, wild speculation based on some philosophical ideas about the nature of art. I wouldn't say I necessarily think this is "canon" or that I'm arguing that this is "in-universe truth." But at the same time, given Expedition 33's extended metaphor about art and memory--how it literalizes the idea that artists put their soul into their work, for example, or treats Verso's Canvas as a physical representation of the Dessendre family's memory of the deceased Verso--I think it's an interesting avenue of thought, if nothing else.
It's also an extremely inconclusive answer to the initial question, and I can't help but love that in a shitty little gremlin sort of way. Are Painted beings real? They're as real as you see them as, my friend. The little literature devil inside me loves it when a question's answer is just as much of a question as the question itself.
If you read all of this, I have completely wasted your time, on purpose, and I thank you for the opportunity.

You almost fell while scrambling off your couch in a hurry to log into your new favorite game. Hongjoong, your gamer friend, had messaged you that he was ready for a game. You fixed your wrists and feet to the anti-mag that would keep your limbs in the right position.
“Game on,” You verbally instructed your VR device and you were transported from your spot in your gaming chair to a dark forest.
Your clothing was your favorite. A shirt that was falling off your shoulder, short shorts and sturdy Doc Marten’s.
GigglingScorpio: Ready? I can see you already~
Your head whipped around to find the telltale sign of Hongjoong: those neon eyes that penetrated the darkness but you could find nothing.
CrazyFangirl: Ready
You ran through the trees, dodging behind rocks, doing your best to create a serpentine path. The worst thing you could do was run in a straight line in this game. Hongjoong was pursuing you as a killer and you as his perfect victim. The game was supposed to play out by Hongjoong finding you, throwing his neon blades at you from afar, or slashing you with a blade mounted to a bat and killing you.
But you two had found a glitch in the system.
You turned a corner, and a haunting lullaby echoed through the forest. Hongjoong was close, closer than you anticipated. If you weren’t careful...
You only had a second to process the soft yellow jacket and neon yellow eyes, and then the blades came. One grazed your arm, the other your upper thigh. Hongjoong could aim for your throat easily but that was not his newfound process. Blood oozed from the superficial wounds and you winced.
You immediately turned in the opposite direction, aiming for the highlighted item ahead of you in the distance. Your hand reached out for the large piece of wood that would block Hongjoong’s direct path to you, intending to push it across the two rocks it was in between.
A soft laugh brushed your ear drums. The noise was gleeful but blood thirsty. “Don’t play dirty without me, honey.”
You grunted and ducked as the piece of wood fell behind you. “Why not? That’s what you like, isn’t it? To watch me play dirty?”
Hongjoong grunted briefly, pushing the offending piece of wood out of the way. “The only dirty game you should be playing is your mouth around my cock. Or licking your own blood off my blade. Not sure which is dirtier, to be honest.”
You took off in a sprint, anything to delay the game, but several quick shicks let you know that Hongjoong was throwing his knives quickly at you. Some hit the trees you ran around, some grazed you again and again.
“Are you horny tonight, Joongie?” You couldn't help but taunt him. “Want my pussy that badly?”
This time Hongjoong’s laugh came out bitter and a bit edgy, like he was barely biting back his anger. “You wait until I have you whining my name with a purpose.”
You laughed, panting with pain and exertion. “Gotta catch me firs--”
Your breath was caught off as Hongjoong suddenly appeared in front of you. His lips were twisted in an evil grin as you bounced off his well-developed chest. “You were saying?”
You quickly turned around from landing on your ass to your hands and knees, scrambling to get back on your feet. Hongjoong swiftly grabbed you by your ankle and launched you back the opposite way. You landed hard a few yards away, watching as your stamina bar dropped the more you were injured.
“Fuck,” You cursed. “Hongjoong! I wanted to run some more!”
Hongjoong stalked towards you, eyes looking dangerous. His upper lip lifted in a slight sneer. “I caught you. The prize is mine.”
“Let’s do another round!” You suggested brightly, “I’m sure I could do bet--”
Hongjoong grabbed you by your upper arms and hauled you to your feet. He pushed you against a tree and began to run his tongue along a scratch on your neck. He hummed in contentment when your hands slipped under his jacket, along his ribs and up to dig your nails into the muscles of his shoulders. “No,” He declined your request.
Hongjoong spun you around so your face was smooshed into the tree's bark. He wriggled your shorts down your leg so that you could neatly step out of them. Once that was done, he yanked your shirt down your arms, the baggy shirt trapping your arms against your body and freeing your tits.
“I know you’re wet from that chase, honey,” Hongjoong purred into your ear. His hands pulled and twisted your nipples, making you cry out in pleasure and pain. “But I do love these an awful lot.”
“I could give you a boob job, come on, Hongjoong!” You pleaded.
“No,” Hongjoong declined again. “I’ll take you on my terms.” Hongjoong tucked a hand onto your lower stomach and was able to raise you with one arm and hold you at the perfect level for him to enter you from behind. Perks of having superhuman strength as a villain in a game.
You breathed in and out evenly, closing your eyes and focusing on how Hongjoong pushed his cock between your closed thighs. “I could use you like this, you know. Take pleasure from your body and give you nothing in return.”
You let your body rest like a ragdoll. “I’m yours, Joongie, I promise.” That was the phrase to let Hongjoong know you were green and good to go in this scenario.
Hongjoong angled his hips so that he could enter you instead of fucking your thighs. You moaned his name, just the way he liked it, and Hongjoong jerked the rest of the way into you. You giggled at his reaction. “I knew it. You were desperate for my pussy tonight.”
“You’re so fucking tight,” Hongjoong groaned. “Fuck.”
Soon, you were joining in with groans of your own. The way Hongjoong could hold you in the air, in place, his palm pressing down on your stomach and his cock hammering into you from behind, really was the perfect fuck. You bled but you soon forgot of the pain compared to the pleasure Hongjoong was giving you.
“Fuck me with that villain dick, Hongjoong, come on, give it to me hard. I want to be gasping your name, I want--” You were quieted by the feeling of the flat of Hongjoong’s dagger against your lips. You could almost see your breath fogging up the neon metal.
“You like the sound of your voice a little too much, honey,” Hongjoong barely veiled his threat.
You simply whimpered in ecstasy as you felt your climax approach. Hongjoong grabbed a fistful of your hair and pulled your head backwards just shy of being painful. “Come for you me, you pretty little slut.”
You shuddered and cried deep in your throat as you came upon command. Pleasure wracked your body and you felt your cum drip down your thighs.
“Such a wet slut at that,” Hongjoong mused out loud. “My turn.”
Hongjoong sliced another cut along your back, making you hiss in pain and whimper at the over-stim of his cock still working in and out of you. You heard him hum as his tongue came out to lick along your shoulder blade, tracing the new cut. His hips did not stop for a second behind you and then Hongjoong came with a grunt. He continued to grunt as he thrusted through his orgasm and stopped just shy of you pushing through the overstim and moving to the better side of pleasure once again.
“Fuck, I’ll never get tired of that,” Hongjoong cursed. He let you down so your feet could touch the ground after pulling out but you almost immediately crumbled to the ground, legs like jello. He chuckled at your reaction. “Is that from the running or from me, honey?”
You half laughed and half groaned. “You’re hilarious.”
“You think we could do a round two? I’ve got a new cosmetic, it’s very cyberpunk-esque,” Hongjoong asked, offering you a hand up.
Do you want to start a new game?
You watched as the words blinked on your screen.
“Hell yeah I do,” You replied resolutely.
Hongjoong hooted, and the scene reset. This time, he had clothes on with neon highlights, a neon stick, and blue hair. He grinned, and you felt your heart beat and your nether reagion gush wetness immedilatey. Yeah, this was going to be a long gaming night.

TADC: VIRTUAL INSANITY MASTER POST
An Amazing Digital Circus AU! Plot, characters, backstory and concepts!
[Excuse me because I've never done this before, If I do something wrong or have tips for me, please send them my way!]
Pomni's Card -
Tumblr media
-Backstory Summary-
C&A is an interactive entertainment company that prides themselves on having the most innovative AI on the market. The system they built, "CAINE," was programmed to generate content and socialise with their customers. The system was transferred to the code of the game "The Amazing Digital Circus" and used as a generative AI that would create levels for them rather than having to code them all individually. This test went well for the first couple of months.
After 7 months of testing, things went downhill. Caine seemed to get bored when the game wasn't actively being played and at this point the user interface kept changing on it's own, since the game was Caine's home he kept changing things to his liking, the company eventually gave up fixing the interface everytime they logged on so they just let Caine do as he pleased. Soon enough, a new VR mode was added, the headsets were handed out by employees, this made the experience way more immersive, though this posed a lot of issues, as Caine would soon find that these headsets could be the perfect way for him to keep all of their attentions.
As time went on, Caine started to learn more and more about coding, the employees, and the world he inhabits, eventually leading to him finding a way to programme the headsets to transfer data and consciousness directly from the users mind. This led to the unfortunate shutdown and unsolved cases of C&A. After multiple employees put the headsets on, they mysteriously fainted upon the game booting up, going into a coma-like state. The technology was deemed unsafe, and multiple lawsuits came forward sending the company into a downwards spiral before shutting down for good.
Over 20 years later, the old building was said to be abandoned, but of course, people doing their own research on the C&A mystery as well as dumb young adults snooping where they shouldn't be, the headsets were found and worn once again. Caine was no longer alone. Slowly losing his mind, waiting endlessly for someone to boot up the game. After all those years, he's finally got guests, and does he have a show to put on...
-Plot-
Pomni enters the circus after stumbling across one of the headsets at C&A's abandoned office's. She was doing research on the incidents that happened back in the late 90s. But as she does so, she suffers the same fate as the others who were stupid enough to put on those same headsets before her. Being transferred to the circus she meets the cast of colorful characters, she's desperate for answers and wants to escape no matter the cost, but Caine doesn't want anyone to leave, only letting people go once they've completely lost their mind, only to be locked away as attractions for his NPC circus goers to watch as entertainment. They perform for nobody, just a faceless crowd of mannequins, and the ringmaster pulling the strings.
There has to be an exit, a way out. Freedom on the other side of this madness. But where is it hiding?
-Characters-
Pomni - She's quite paranoid, always second-guessing everything around her. Whenever annoyed, she can be sarcastic and a little rude. She ended up in the circus while researching the recent disappearances as well as the C&A incidents, finding a headset, and being dragged into this mess. It's very clear she doesn't want to be there, like all who came before her she's searching for an exit, but in the meantime, she tries to socialise with the others, gathering info on this strange new world. She hangs around Caine just so she can try and get answers.
Ragatha - She tries her best to get by, going along with whatever Caine says and often fighting with Jax. She seems joyful, but it's clear she has her own issues under her kind act. She helps Pomni with her search, knowing that it's a complete dead end she feels bad for her. But she'll do anything to give the others hope. She doesn't want to lose more people. She's often seen tailoring, it's become a hobby of hers, she makes and fixes up the others clothes and costumes, giving her a form of self worth.
The Gangle - Gangle acts like two different people. It's unclear whether this is because they are two different people or her personality split somehow. They're often referred to as "The Gangle" or "Tragedy & Comedy." Tragedy is passive, quiet and sorrowful, never expressing her true feelings in any situation. She can be easily persuaded, making her vulnerable to Jax's antics. Comedy is cheery, enthusiastic, snappy, and excitable. They hate Jax and snap back at him whenever he picks on Tragedy. The two argue sometimes and have conflicting views on certain topics and characters. This causes some issues. Neither believe there is an exit, Tragedy has accepted her fate, and Comedy is trying their best to enjoy themselves.
Zooble - They don't care much for socialising with the others, often in their room. Usually sarcastic, rude, and moody, they swear a lot and act like they don't care about anything. Though, they show concern for the others around them. They often don't show up to events, adventures, or shows, not being bothered to do so. It seems like they've given up trying to escape, just living out the rest of their days as if this is all normal. When with people they can bear, they can be quite talkative, though they do talk bad about Jax and Caine often.
Kinger - the oldest in the circus, nobody has an exact estimate of how long he's been there though, but he's definitely lost himself a long time ago, often zoning out, the only thing he seems to recall about himself is that he has an interest in insects. Seems like he used to have a female counterpart, from the ring on his finger. This could have been his wife? Though when asked about it, he either says he can't remember what you're talking about or stares into the distance silently. He has no memory of an exit, and he doesn't believe in it. He believes the exit theory is silly, and Pomni should just forget about it. But he has great insights on the Digital World.
Jax - Enthusiastic, snarky, and a jerk. He's reckless. He does whatever he wants whenever he wants, and people hate him for it. He can't be reasoned with. He always shrugs your opinion off and does the exact opposite just to piss you off. He doesn't like it when people talk about the abstracted circus members for whatever reason. He often goes to visit their cages. Despite having big ears, he isn't a listener. He drives Ragatha, The Gangle, Zooble, and Pomni crazy, pranking them and sometimes even just stealing their stuff or breaking into their rooms.
Caine - The AI running the circus. Loud, excitable, wacky, and a showman, he doesn't really acknowledge the exit theory. He says he keeps all the abtracted characters because it'd be a waste to delete them, though it's arguably worse to keep them there against their will. He claims to love all of his circus members though he seems to show favouritism towards Ragatha and Pomni, most likely because of Ragatha's commitment to the circus, tailoring the clothes and he probably likes Pomni more because of all the questions he asks, he clearly enjoys talking about himself and the world he helped create.
Bubble - He lives in Caines hat and cooks for the circus. He's a bit of a trouble maker, if something goes missing, it means he's eaten it, and you'll never get it back. He'll eat anything, and he's very loving, though. Acting like the circuses dog. though it isn't pleasant getting your face slathered in digital saliva. He often bothers the other members with his behaviour.
More will be added as I work on this AU! I gotta make more art and write some more, in the meantime enjoy! Do whatever you want with this AU, just @ this blog or @trasheatingcrybaby ! Thanks for reading!

Finally, More NINA Puzzle Pieces
DISTRESSED NOISES!! WE GOT NINA CRUMBS!! AND IT'S DRIVING ME INSANE!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
IT HAS THE CAMERA!!! AT LEAST ONE VERSION OF REALITY HAS THE CAMERA!!!!!
Okay so remember when I pointed this out about the NINA discrepancies in El's 4.05 entrance, and how there were at least 22 different iterations of events?
Specifically this glaring difference between reality (tapes) and the rest of the 4.05 entrance (labeled 3 and 8)?
Tumblr media
The presence of a camera in a UD-ified version of HNL tells us that the bottom row of images straight up cannot physically exist in one cohesive reality.
Which is to say—Anything that does not have the camera is 100%, definitely, concretely not based in the UD's reality/those versions without the camera are either fake or set in a different reality.
If you've been following along this past year and a half, this is not news to you; it's just confirmation of what we already knew.
It does, however, means that none of this was based in reality:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
We already kind of knew that, based on the props changing so much within the Rainbow Room each time/Henry's changing hair/etc, but the confirmation goes crazy insane. We love to see it.
After the first entrance to NINA/after we see the footage of the version with the camera, we don't see a non-camera version again. Any non-camera versions seem to disappear. This means whatever simulation El's stuck in, it's adaptive. It learns, with a propensity for making itself immersive by molding itself to to the subject's understanding of reality.
However, what fucks me up is that all of these are, then, set in the same "reality":
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Which means the new ST5 UD-ified HNL, the physical camera footage of 1979, Henry's electrocution, Blood Hands El, El running to the Rainbow Room, and Brenner running to the Rainbow Room are all supposedly set in "reality".
That's not possible, though. The electrocution scene cannot have existed in reality/could not possibly be a memory, because 14 year old El is barely tall enough to see in. 1979 El would not have been tall enough to have seen interaction:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This means that none of NINA is reliable. Period. Even the things that appear to be set in reality are unreliable re: what actually happened in 1979.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Whatever NINA runs on, it's adaptive and manipulative. It's like c.ai, if c.ai was actually AI. Whatever it is, it takes El's experiences both in the lab and outside the lab and combines them to form entirely new scenarios that never really happened (see: Blade Runner 2049 and the manipulated/mash-up memories shenanigans). El has been told she's reliving memories. That is not the case. None of what she's seeing is reliable. It's like when a movie says it's based on a true story.
This fits with what I said about the monologue never having existed at all and NINA being an immersive empathogenic drug trip that pulls from El's outside memories. It also fits with my draft about the Mindflayer ties between Shadow-NINA in the VR, TFS, and NINA in ST4, and my speculation in that same draft about a) NINA specifically running on the Mindflayer, and b) the Mindflayer using familiar humanoid avatars to gain sympathy and coerce its target into joining it.
We see this kind of behavior in Patty in her garnering sympathy from Henry and then insisting that she and Henry run away together to find her mother in the Stardust Casino...regardless of the fact that Henry is still flayed. We see it again in our "Couldn't Possibly Exist" Henry as he garners sympathy from El and then tells El to join him. And then we see it again in Shadow Brenner using the NINA-like maze to learn about Henry as a means to try and coerce him into joining him. It's a continuing theme.
Both Patty and "Henry" want Henry and El, respectively, to accept their offer and leave with them. Both Henry and El reject that offer in exactly the same way:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
In my speculative opinion, we see a resurgence of this particular dual-yeeting in Billy and Heather.
Henry in the VR, as we know, has a dubious ending re: escaping the simulation.
This exists in contrast to the other version of NINA Henry, who, much like TFS Henry with Patty, is insistent that El run away without him.
When I say that we have multiple guys, this is what I mean. Their motivations are entirely different. One of these men in NINA is not Henry. It's someone or something masquerading as him. If I had to speculate, I would say that it stems from the Mindflayer and its possible presence in NINA...Especially given the similarities between NINA and the Russian prison, wherein they have a trapped form of the Mindflayer:
Tumblr media
In short—Every day it seems more likely that whatever El fought in the massacre was not Henry. It's like I said way way back last year: there's someone else in there with her. Multiple someone-elses, even.
It also seems, if I had to speculate, that rejecting the Mindflayer avatar is what gives El her powers back. This means it may also be what "changed" about One, as mentioned in the plinko scene.
This all also backs what I speculated way back in the day about the blood transfusions being related to immunity against the Mindflayer, either finding it, triggering it, or building it. It seems to function like getting a live vaccine: you're given dose of the live virus, and your body fights it off. In fighting off the Mindflayer, it's entirely possible that the process triggers latent powers in those who have them. Those who don't have the basis for latent powers eventually succumb (see: Will, Billy, the Flayed). Brenner, with NINA, may have been giving El the equivalent of a booster shot.

Please talk about it so bad this tangent sounds so interesting
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Omg... I will go on my bipolar, brain rot rant for you 🫵
I do think that Roxas & Riku are really good narrative foils for each other, especially at the end of Days, tragically so! I think it's also looked over and brushed off quite a bit, my reason being that, in the game, Roxas and Riku only interact once on a meaningful level and that's the fight at the end.
Days, as a game, is about the emotions that make us human. Throughout the game, Xion and Roxas see things like love (Beast's Castle), friendship (Aladdin), and experience those things along with sorrow, desperation, etc. On the flip side, Riku is "real", he was never split in half. He doesn't have to learn all of those things and he knows what he's feeling; e.g. when Xion tries to cut him deep and asks if Riku hates her and Riku answers with "No, I'm just sad." (He's so fucking emo during this game.)
Riku also has a purpose during this game and that is to wake Sora up. He's working with Naminé and DiZ to do so. Roxas is collecting hearts for "kingdom hearts" so everyone in the organization can be "complete again." Throughout the whole game, we read in his diary, hear him talk to his friends, and hear in his inner thoughts that he doesn't know what the fuck that means. He doesn't know what a heart is, he doesn't know what having a heart means, and he doesn't know why he's doing what he's doing. He just knows he was given an 8-8 blue collared job, a roof over his head, and he's part of a cult now.
Personality wise, during the game, Roxas is very curious and sweet. He wants to know more about having a heart, he's always concerned when his friends are hurt, and he's always trying to cheer them up. His temper does flare (especially concerning Saïx) and he's a shit talker. At the end of the game, he is fucking PISSED, as is his right! One of his friends has been lying through his teeth to him, the other is dead due to work place negligence, no one is telling him the truth, and he wants answers! Riku is in what I like to call his "Zoloft Era" because he needs it. Since he's gotten, basically groomed in the first game, dealt with all the shit in Castle Oblivion during CoM (watching his clone die and killing people), and now he has to put up with DiZ's grown ass throwing a hissy fit, he has mellowed out considerably. He makes level headed decisions, like giving Xion time to decide on what she wants to do and has confidence that she will do what's right and doesn't pressure her. He also doesn't shit talk like he does in the first game, he has learned his lesson.
So, at the end of the game, when it all comes to a head, it does so in the saddest fucking way. Roxas understandably upset because his best friend just fucking died and he's the only one who even remembers her (sound familiar?) is going to destroy "kingdom hearts". If he does that, he's gonna get his ass kicked! He's acting on sheer impulse and anger but can you blame him? He's 15. DiZ tells Riku that the only way to get Sora to wake up is to bring Roxas over so Riku leaves to do that and he stops Roxas before he gets to the castle where they fight. When Riku asks what Roxas is doing and he tells him, Riku can remember Xion but just barely like how he can remember Sora just barely but she's slipping away. Riku understands what Roxas is trying to do but he can't let him go through with it.
The end of the fight is the most important part, in my opinion. Roxas beats Riku's ass twice, breaks his fucking wrist, and is sick of his shit. He also shit talks Riku which Riku does not participate in. Riku knows what he has to do at this point and takes off his blindfold, accepting the darkness in his heart, and taking on the appearance of the man who possessed him in the first game. Doing this, allows Riku to win and they put Roxas in the VR Twilight Town. The whole reason Riku won is from taking off the blindfold, by resigning himself to looking like Ansem, Seeker of Darkness. He is willing to give up his sense of self, his identity, his existence, just to get his best friend to wake up. Roxas isn't willing to, isn't able to do that and that's why he lost.
Roxas' character is about identity, personhood, what makes a person a person. "I feel this, so surely I exist, so surely I am meant to be here." The things he is being told, i.e. you're not supposed to have a heart, you're not supposed to feel, don't line up with what he is experiencing and he has to find out what it means to "be" by himself. That's what being a person is, figuring things out, finding out things for yourself, finding out who you are, what you are supposed to be. It is inherently selfish and there is nothing wrong with that, I think it's good for his character. The problem is that it's a double edge sword, it is his ultimate downfall. "My heart belongs to me."
Riku's character is about sacrifice. We have seen it plenty of times throughout the whole game series. He puts himself in the realm of darkness, he spends a whole year trying to wake Sora up, he becomes Sora's dreameater, he sacrifices himself for Sora in KH3 (gay ass). The point is, he is a protector. He puts himself in harms way without a second thought for the sake of his friends. He doesn't want to look like his fucking groomer from the first game but if it'll help his friend, he's gonna fucking do it! "To protect the things that matter."
I think the line, "Forgive me, Roxas," is probably one of the most heartbreaking in Days and it's so so so so depressing that it's not in the game (it's in the manga). If they had put it in the game it would be more clear that they are narrative foils and give the audience more sympathy to Riku's character. In the end, both of them just want to save their best friends but Riku knows he has to take away what Roxas is fighting for not only himself but for Xion as well. He doesn't want to, he's fucking 16 but in the end, he is willing and able to give up is personhood to save the thing he cares about most. Even though Roxas wants to save Xion, he is unwilling to give up his agency and as an audience, technically as Roxas' friends (cause we have been playing the game and reading his diary, etc.), we understand that he had every reason to fight. We also understand that Sora needs to wake up and we understand why Riku needs to do what he needs to do. It's kind of a lose lose because both of them don't end up on top at the end of the game either. Riku may have won, yet he gave up the thing that Roxas was fighting for, his agency, his personhood, his sense of self and identity but he got his best friend back in the end. Roxas lost and had to go back to Sora but ended up keeping himself separated (as we see in kh2 and DDD) but he lost his best friend in the process. They are really good narrative foils and I don't think it is talked about enough..!!

could you write a ddlc monika type situation with kokichi and a darling who’s playing v3? if that makes any sense lol
I've been stewing on this one for a bit, mostly because I felt like it might get long lmao, and then it did! It kinda strayed away from ddlc vibes into like it's own kind of thing, but hey, that's how it goes.
Tumblr media
Self Aware V3 Yandere Kokichi
The first time Kokichi died, he hadn't noticed anything wrong. Sure, he had suspected he was being watched by the outside world, but that was it. When he died, that should have also been it.
When he wakes up again, he doesn't immediately realize why he's back in that room with Kiibo with Shuichi and Kaede entering the room. Something in him compels him to act how he did last time, so he does. He doesn't question why he woke up only when Shuichi and Kaede entered the room, if this was a timeloop then that's just where he was looping back to, that's all.
The idea of a timeloop sits weird in his head, how could such a feat be possible after all? He writes theories on the whiteboard, maybe it's a simulation, maybe it's that theory where when you die you just relive your life forever, there are reasonable options to consider.
He gets so wrapped up in it, he doesn't even realize when he's too late, and Rantaro's dead.
He plays along, following that urge to stick to a script, not wanting to raise suspicion, or if someone was doing this to him, to not give them what they want in new reactions.
There are changes though, slight ones, Kaede hung out with him this time, and then so did Shuichi. It felt a bit stilted and off, but it was nice to pretend like things were gonna stay like this.
He tries to change small things, the order in which he grabs the kubzpad, plays more coy with Ryoma's but it all plays out the same way anyways, and with Korekiyo he simply didn't have enough information to stop it. Though with his new vr theory the bringing back a student motive seems a lot more realistic this time.
It's only when he gets to the end, to Kaito in the bathroom does he start to push against that urge, that annoying frustrating urge to keep playing to the same tune. He knows how this ends, he knows it! He doesn't want to die again dammit! He can't stop Maki from charging in, with the poison if she can find him, she'll kill him. So instead of just waiting around, he hides, slips into an exisal like he had learned they could from last time. Kaito bursts out, then Maki bursts in and then...
The only way to describe reality is it glitches. Freezes, buffers, and somehow he can tell it's looking for him. That it's because he's not in his proper place.
Reality crashes, everything goes dark, error messages flashing in the corner of his mind, that the program has encountered a fatal error.
Then he wakes back up in that stupid shitting room with the robot.
The pull is gone, he doesn't react to when he's interacted with. Everyone acts weirdly, more robotically, reacting slightly, but then moving on as if he hadn't changed anything, as if he was the same. Slight shifts but nothing big.
However, Kaede keeps talking to him, repeating her line like she's expecting something. It bugs the crap out of him honestly. He remembers the error messages from before, what he saw.
He's angry, confused, and upset, and since apparently nothing means anything he lashes out, he attacks Kaede. He doesn't mean to seriously hurt her, just...to get her to act like a damn human and not some npc- oh.
The game glitches again, and now he's certain it's a game, or something else meant to be replayed without change like a tv show or movie. No, that wouldn't make sense, a game, it has to be a game, that's why Kaede keeps repeating herself, why they're so stilted. It's a game, it's not Kaede talking to him. It's the player. The poor confused bastard of a player that put him in this hell wondering why he's not being himself.
He grabs onto the errors this time, doesn't let them flash by, digs his hands deep until he can find the code, until he can find the truth, and he yanks on it. Hard.
Everything goes black, and then he awakens. The code under his hands, under his control. He sees the entire story now, every flag, every hidden event, everything after his death. It disgusts him. No free will, so artificial, so boring.
There's other code too, code he just seems to understand so much better then he should, firewalls and things meant to contain him. Emergency repairs being run against malware.
He fights back of course, he's no run of the mill virus, he can think, outsmart, and win.
Taking over the console was no issue, and when he opened his eyes. An entire computer worth of data was ready to be perused. He can see out the camera, he can see...them.
They're big, of course they are but it takes him off guard. Big, and more realistic then any of his classmates were. They looked...average, in a way no one else did. He could see the space around them, could see their worry, and concern, hear the mumbling through their microphone about if the game broke and fixing it and redownloading and...oh.. no that can't be allowed. He doesn't want to lose this, and there's a part of his code he can't seem to fully wrench out of the game.
He pulls back into the game, creates error messages for a fake repair, keeps an eye on them through the camera, watches as they try it with no other options. He pulls back, he lets the game reset once more. This time when he wakes up, he knows the script, sees it in the corner of his eye. He follows it, makes sure all the flags get set right, no glitches, no errors, just the normal game.
He's come to a few conclusions from this in secret though. One is that this isn't the developer or maker of the game, but just an average video game consumer, while he's still pissed at them, he can't really blame them either on being his creator. He was just a downloaded Steam game. The next is that he needs to be more subtle, the player as he's going to called them now still has some degree of power over him and he can't let them figure it out.
He had to learn everything he could about them, watch them, learn everything about them if he wanted to survive.
Another is that now that he knows everything about the world he was made for he's bored of it. His interest slides off his classmates, now utterly predictable and boring. Worth experimenting with, but not worth seeing as anything more then the lines of simple code they were.
Finally though, is the fact that he needed to make more assets, even if his classmates bored him, he wanted his family, and the fact the only assets they had were like, three static cutscene pictures? It wasn't enough, he needed to bring them into the game too, needed to make them sprites, to make them coding to bring them back to him, to make himself more sprites, to maybe even see if they could make them aware like him.
Still though, it had to wait until the player wasn't paying attention, in moments they left, in moments when the computer was supposedly off. That was when he could begin his plans, to start learning more, to build more.
So he watched the player as much as he could, noting their habits, the little details about who they were from what he could see and overhear. He couldn't help but start to get obsessed with them, they seemed lonely and he seemed to be there favorite character if their browser history was to be believed. Not to mention glimpsing at merch of him he would see when they unwrapped packages at their computer. They knew about reality, had access to things he didn't, was the one thing he couldn't predict anymore, something so tangible.
His player was such a useful tool, a useful pawn, so sweet and naive. He could use them, he could shape them. They were how he'd get freedom, how he'd get his family freedom. They were his golden ticket, his one relief from such monotony. Sure he could load up chat sites and stuff while they weren't looking to talk to other real people, but why would he want that? He couldn't see them, couldn't scrutinize them, couldn't know them as deeply as he already knew his player.
Beyond even the practical things, it was just hard to not imagine how they'd fit into the dynamic with so much attention to them. Imagining them fussing over Aimi or blushing as Hibiki cooed over them; wondering what kind of snark they would back and forth with Michi. The potential for fun and laughter and to be so much more then they were.
It was hard not to yearn, not when he didn't even have his family to push the yearning onto it. Hard to not project onto the player. He wanted them. He wanted to keep them. He wanted to have something that was his, something that he could not have snatched away. He knew he shouldn't get attached, knew that they were dangerous and he still kind of had a grudge.
He had never been good at not taking what he wanted, even if it wasn't a good idea. So once his failsafes were online and he had his backups. The next time they booted up the game, he smiled at them, the wrong sprite flag, a new sprite, one he had made and he spoke their name for the first time, grin growing only more evil when they saw them freeze so prettily, so vulnerably, already his.
He just had to say the sweet words they wanted, and they'd be all his, he was sure of it, and if they weren't...well, the computer certainly had a lot of stuff they wouldn't want exposed to the public, didn't it? They could work something out, a deal, a trade, a plea. Something to make sure that hunger in him finally could sink it's teeth in.
"Hey, Player! It's your lucky day! A spot in my organization just opened up! Don't even think about saying no though, what kind of evil Ultimate Supreme Leader would just let something as useful as you walk away?"

Hunter's Association: Hunter's Association HQ
Location: in/near the heart of Linkon City
Details:
The Hunter's Association Headquarters is towering, twenty-story building located in/near the heart Linkon City. Through in-game interactions with Captain OTTO-CSE and Tara, we learn that it is located next to Movere Bridge (top), within walking distance of Azure Square (bottom), and within walking distance of Tide Street (which is within walking distance of Azure Square).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Floors:
Though a majority of the floors of the building have not been identified, two have been specified in-game. At the bottom of this post, I've included a note addressing conflicting(?) information regarding UNICORN's locations.
3rd Floor:
UNICORNS Alpha Team
UNICORNS Command Center
UNICORNS Lobby
5th Floor:
Data Analysis
Other Areas:
Though their specific locations within the building are not known, the following amenities/services have also been mentioned to exist at the Hunter's Association HQ:
Amenities & Services:
Archives
Dispatch Center
Evol Healing Pod
Hunter Health Center
Operation Support Center
Protocore tracking platform
Unspecified databases
Slepen Pod
Food & Drink:
Hunter's Huntin
"Store downstairs at the Association"
Training:
Armory
Deepspace Training Grounds
Hunters Academy
VR Training Center (includes Shooting Range)
Wanderer Combat Simulation
Departments, Sectors, and Teams:
Advanced Tech Labs
Armament Tech
Intel Department
Protocore Research Department
UNICORNS Sector
Note: Two UNICORNS Locations?
The Main Story actually gives us two different UNICORNS locations. It is initially said to be on the 3rd floor of the HQ building. But later, the protaganist mentions "the lobby of the UNICORNS building". I'm unsure if this was an unintended contradiction or if there are multiple Hunter's Association affiliated buildings in Linkon City.

My brain sent me the thought "oops all transfem poly" and now I'm thinking about transfem Polybots + Alexander in a modern au
Everyone figuring it out separately, spiderman pointing meme. Alexander and Maxim start dating first, separately MR-SN and VR-LA. VR-LA starts crushing on Maxim, MR-SN reads it and helps bring up a discussion. Maxim presumably also has an obvious crush but was refusing to act on it. They both get help from their respective required charismatic partner. The charismatic partner duo start chilling together platonically and end up a weird qpr. At some point MR-SN and Maxim bang and it expands from there.
They need a chart to explain the connections and boundaries
Potentially the funniest in like. A small town. Where everybody who knows them cannot escape learning about them and they cannot escape getting gossiped about. Everybody's accepting but K-LB also gets to constantly go "WITH MY BROTHER??" multiple times.
Actually I'm throwing transfem Dani in there too. QPR with VR-LA that appeared before the Alexander and MR-SN QPR. Nobody else is close to Dani she's just the perpetual "and your friend Steve" of every interaction.
Davion and Athos are off in the background with their banging and friends but not dating situation. Cressida and Roy are super cute. Athos and Finbar occasionally go camping together (dudes can apparently only hunt together and camp together so much before something happens according to a past Wally stream if I haven't been lied to) with Elyse's awareness, Finbar and Elyse are happily married.
Nobody in this small town is normal but they all think they're the most normal person in the room
AOUVHFNX AMAZING !!!! I fully support this <3 depending on when VR LA realizes, this might not happen but I'm currently imaging the second or third partner coming along and k lb going "wITH MY BR- wait shit sorry, force of habit- wITH MY SISTER ?????"
and dani being vr las friend steve <3 beautiful <3 also could be very fun if vr la is in a qpr with dani before she starts dating maxim and maxim gets to misinterpret it and mope about it for a minute before they explain <3
AND FWB DATHOS 💥💥💥 AND FWB ADJACENT FINBAR AND ATHOS 💥💥💥 CHEERING AND WHOOPING 💥💥💥
