People: Dragon Ball focuses too much on Goku. He’s so strong, so nobody else has to do anything.

Goku: Loses first 2 tournaments in og. Dies twice. Only kills one major villain in all of Dragon Ball Z, and it’s the villain that everyone wanted Gohan to kill.

Also are we just gonna ignore how the Namek/Frieza saga was mostly Krillin, Gohan, Piccolo, and Vegeta just doin shit? They did so much in that entire arc

Regarding Zero Talking

Hi i firmly believe the characters in zero talking are NOT siblings.

1. It just doesn't make sense? One of them is in a high powerful position, some sort of ruler and the other is a maid. Why in the world would these two characters be siblings. i assume if they were then they would be roughly in the same like. class? socially?

2. the only place we get that they could be siblings from is the lyrics in the song saying "sister" in all katakana and a tweet where harugoha calls them siblings (shimai in kanji).

HOWEVER. This is NOT literal. it's a japanese term originating in the 1900s usually abbreviated just to S/esu to describe a very very close relationship between two girls. this often gets used in Yuri and stuff. the term shimai is also used here sometimes as far as i can find so it isnt odd that harugoha would use it to describe them.

Basically. he's just using yuri tropes. they are not siblings. thank you all.

Honestly I think I’m passionate about defending goku not only bc I love him and everyone’s wrong but bc I know what an actual bad dad looks like. My piece of shit father has done nothing for me my whole life. He quit working once so I wouldn’t get child support. He always says he’s coming to see me and I haven’t seen him in over a decade and there’s nothing stopping him from visiting me he just doesn’t care about me. That’s a terrible father not goku

Ok so having a tv in the lookout implied many things here:

1. Kami and/or Mr. Popo have specifically ventured on the lower realm just to buy a television; OR have materialized their own tv after seeing how entertained the Earthlings are of them. (I prefer the former because it's funnier; I'm also ignoring Bulma just giving one to them after learning Cell would give the tournament details on tv for the same reasons.)

2. Kami and Mr. Popo have their own favorite shows and talked about them a lot.

3. Movie nights for 2 overworked old men on their free time.

4. Dende, initially confused and a little scared about what the Earthlings are into, have been able to adjust way easier to Earth culture than he thought he would. (Of course it helps that the lookout have a library specifically about Earthlings and all of its creatures, and that Mr. Popo and Gohan are there to explain things.)

5. Dende, Mr. Popo, Piccolo, and Gohan movie nights <3
