Hi!! What are your favorite maiden lane books?

Ooooh, if there's one thing I love, it's MAIDEN LANE. My top 5:

Thief of Shadows—Truly one of the best romance novels I've ever read! It's incredibly hot in the way only Hoyt can pull off for me (when Winter is hitting it from the back and Isabel is trying to resist all the emotion while he tells her to SOAK HIS COCK WITH HER LIQUID lol, the blowjob where they're both crying) but also sooooo fucking beautiful emotional. Like. The plot is bananas, yes, but when you get to the CRUX of why Isabel doesn't think they can be together, it's so real and raw.

Duke of Midnight—Maximus is a hero that a lot of people hate because he's a deranged asshole. This is probably why I LIKE him. He's just so... WACKY. And Artemis's responses are so measured. I love a deeply practical heroine. I love a hero who has to realize that like... he thinks he's got It, but he actually doesn't. Because she is, in fact, It.

Sweetest Scoundrel—Asa is so good!!!!! This one grew on me more over time. It's really such an emotionally beautiful journey for Asa and Eve, while being super hot and not transforming them into suddenly perfect people. A tough read, but a very worth one.

Scandalous Desires—I just love the camp of this. An Irish river pirate and the baby he severely doesn't care about parenting. The sweet widow who just wants to nurture. The artichoke dirty talk. The death row BJ.

Duke of Sin—I just feel like this is a romance novel that never takes an easy turn, and it's like... something everyone who loves the historical romance genre should read. A true villain romance where he doesn't become like, a good person in the end! And the heroine isn't a blushing virgin!
