“Mathew 8:27 But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!
“There is absolutely nothing that can stand in the way of Jesus.
No enemy has the power He simply casts out demons.
No teacher or skeptic can stump him with a question.
No disease can withstand his call for healing.
Not even nature can baffle or threaten him.
He is not just a man
He is God's Son
He is Immanuel
God with us.
Until we go home to Him it is only then we will fully understand who He is. We can be secure that He will care for us and bring us to his home
Fear is not just being troubled with circumstances it also is the uncertainty about what will ultimately happen to us.
Jesus shows his disciples that their safety, their destiny, is under his command and nothing can withstand his grace offered to bless his disciples
Isaiah 43:2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
There are sometimes times in our lives when we have been hit by blow after blow, and we feel depleted and also defeated. During these occasions, it is easy to lose all hope. The good news is God does not want us to live out our daily existence discouraged or hopeless so He has given us His word as a source of blessing and encouragement.
Deuteronomy 20:4 For the Lord your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.
One of the most encouraging thoughts for you to know is that even when things seem the worst God is in control. He easily overcomes what feels impossible to us.
Every time we struggled with feelings of loss and defeat we have to remind ourselves so our hope can be restored.
1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
God does not want us to be overcome by feelings of defeat and despair in spite of the crushing blows we receive. He has given us His powerful word full of encouragement and hope to strengthen us instead.
His will for us is that we live our lives in victory.
We all have battles that we fight every day . It might not be a physical war against other human beings, but rather our struggles may be against our own thought patterns, bad habits or weaknesses.
Sometimes these situations and circumstances that we face that are out of our control. When this occurs read Deuteronomy 20:4 this verse can fill us with hope and courage.
It reminds us that it is the Lord who goes with us to fight for us against our enemies whoever or whatever that may be. God not only fights for us but he also gives us the victory.
2 Samuel 22:18 He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them that hated me: for they were too strong for me.
Heavenly Father
Please act with Your strong power to still the storms in the hearts of those we love. Give them peace and calm and lead them to know that Jesus is their source of help. We ask You to replace our sadness with joy, defeat with victory, and weariness with praise. Help us when we feel defeated, weary or sad to focus on Your blessings in our life rather than on my circumstances. Remind us to praise You the Father at all times so we may obtain life and hope. We ask that You bring all things to our memory that concern You and Your plans in my life. Please increase our hope as we focus on Your Word. Help us to not be conformed to this world but transformed by the renewing of our mind. Strengthen and renew us in our innermost being. Destroy the fiery darts of the enemy that attempt to pierce our souls. May we always hear Your voice and obey Your will. Father, help us to overcome today fears. Thank you for the ones in our life that Love us. We praise You and Love You Lord in all circumstances. In Jesus’ name we pray
Amen.”

Matt. 5:6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled.
Appreciation goes a long ways, who appreciates a fine meal more those with little or no food or the fat cat that wines and dines every day?
Having it all can rob our souls of the most important thing with God an appreciative heart filled with thanksgiving. Giving it all to our children often makes them unappreciative spoiled adults.
A nation rich with freedoms who don’t understand the great love and sacrifice given by so many. Lacking appreciation can cost us everything precious in this life. Fake appreciation is worse than no appreciation!
Matt.5:3 "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.{Isaiah 57:15; 66:2}

STUMBLING BLOCKS!
STUMBLING BLOCKS
Isaiah 57:13-15

Not all roads lead to God. There is a stumbling block that keeps man from reaching God: the stumbling block of sin.
In the Bible, the Greek word skándalon means a ‘trap-stick’ or a ‘stumbling block’ and is used figuratively to mean either something that causes people to sin, or something that causes them to lose their faith in Jesus and their way in life. A stumbling stone or tripwire is anything that makes someone trip and fall.
For something to qualify as scandalous, it must be evil or give the appearance of evil. To do a good act or an indifferent act, even knowing that it will inspire others to sin, can be a stumbling block as stated in Leviticus 19:14.
Yet so many are stumbling about out of confusion and lack of direction. But God has provided a map—the Bible—and a guide who knows the way and can give us directions—Jesus Christ. The world is littered with people and things that may and do cause us to stumble in life, detrimentally in the spiritual walk. Our text admonishes us to remove or go past every stumbling block in life.
The enemy knows the desires of our heart as much as God does and he uses it against us. He goads us into moving full steam ahead into situations that end up harmful, unhealthy, or just not the direction God has planned. Satan mimics God’s voice and signs so that we think we are hearing from the Lord, when in fact, the enemy is setting up a snare. He’s very clever like that.
When you feel like you are stumbling and at a roadblock, Psalm 25:4-5 is a good place to look to: “Show me the right path, O LORD; point out the road for me to follow. Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you.”
So many are right now stumbling over so many things in life: physical roadblocks, mental, emotional, material, and especially spiritual stumbling blocks. Some people have themselves become stumbling blocks to others against the instructions of 1 Corinthians 10:32-33: “So don’t be a stumbling block to anyone, whether they are Jews or Gentiles or Christians. That is the plan I follow, too. I try to please everyone in everything I do, not doing what I like or what is best for me but what is best for them, so that they may be saved.”
“Remove every stumbling block,” declares the Lord! Whatever will cause us to stumble in life must be dealt with swiftly and cleanly. When we determine to walk by the Spirit and not by the flesh, we will not stumble because of fleshy desires according to Galatians 5:16. These desires, having taken hold of one’s mind, heart, and life, will become a roadblock to healthy and victorious living while at the same time causing one to stumble in their spiritual race.
What has caused or is causing you to stumble in your walk with God? Whatever it is, it doesn’t really matter, as the Lord has given us instructions to help us navigate such roadblocks in Jeremiah 31:21: “Set up signs and mark the road; find again the way by which you left. Come back, people of Israel, come home to the towns you left.”
Yes, come back to the Lord, come back to faith, come back to the service of the Lord, those who have allowed the stumbling blocks of life to take them away from the path of righteousness. Why are we stumbling in the dark, groping to find a way out of the pit life’s put us in when the Lord, the great shepherd, is beckoning to us to follow the well-lit path according to Psalm 119:105?
Iniquities and sins create a barrier between God and his people, says Isaiah 59:2. Be sure to not allow stumbling blocks to stop you from being and doing all that the Lord has ordained for you.
PRAYER: Oh, Lord, help me not to be a stumbling block or allow anyone or anything to cause me to stumble in life. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Shalom

For thus says the High, Exalted One
who lives forever, whose name is Holy:
“I live in the high and holy place
but also with the broken and humble,
in order to revive the spirit of the humble
and revive the hearts of the broken ones.

John 7:37-38 Jesus said, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me, 38 and…drink.”
Isaiah 66:13 [The Lord says,] “As a mother comforts her child, so I will comfort you; you shall be comforted in Jerusalem.”
Isaiah 57:15 For thus says the high and lofty One--He Who inhabits eternity, Whose name is Holy: I dwell in the high and holy place, but with him also who is of a thoroughly penitent and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble and to revive the heart of the thoroughly penitent [bruised with sorrow for sin].
Romans 11:33 Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!
Psalm 42:5 Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why have you become disturbed within me? Hope in God, for I shall again praise Him for the help of His presence.
Philippians 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do, of His good pleasure.
May you not turn aside or depart from following the Lord when you find that you have made a mistake or chosen wrongly; rather, turn from the sin, be of good courage and serve the Lord wholeheartedly, worshiping Him without reservation, for He will not reject you since He is pleased to make you His own. 1 Samuel 12
May you be sure to revere the Lord and serve Him faithfully with all your heart, remembering what great things He has done for you and how grandly He has dealt with you. 1 Samuel 12
May you wait on the Lord, though everyone else disperses, for the Lord is never late, though he wait till the last minute to test your heart and let you see your faith. 1 Samuel 13
May you not speak on your own, lest you draw honor to yourself, but may you work for the honor of the One Who sends you, for then you will be a man of truth. John 7
May you not judge superficially, or with partiality, based on mere appearances, but let God show you what lies beneath the surface so you can make a righteous judgment. John 7
You are My portion, My child, given to Me by My Father and received in My heart with joy unspeakable. I have eagerly prepared, from before the foundations of the earth, all that you will need along the path that I draw you, My precious one, and I have gladly placed abundant supplies for your use at the places you will need them. There are challenges along the way, My persistent one, and they are yours to choose to overcome; when you make that choice, you will find the resources I have placed right at hand to accomplish the task, meet the need, resist the evil, win the battle, cleanse the temple, sanctify the altar, and prepare for Me a dwelling place. My desire is that you would reflect My heart and accept Me as your portion, as your inheritance. Rather than an undisturbed eternity of quiet, clean, pure fellowship with each other, We chose to be involved in Creation with all of the noise, chaos, confusion, pain, dirt, and conflict. I came as a servant, humbling Myself, seeking the good of all, dying to make the way open, whether any followed it or not. Cleanse yourself of pride, for it causes you to struggle against others, and separates you from Me. Trust Me to do what is needed in the hearts of others, and walk in My steps, drawing on My resources as you face these challenges which will test you to the limit, and more, bringing you nearer to Me, in the fellowship of My suffering, for I understand your pain and have sent My Comforter. Make Me yours, as I have made you Mine.
May your heart be steadfast before God as you sing and make music with all your soul, awakening the dawn as you praise the Lord among the nations and sing of Him among the peoples, for His love is higher than the heavens and His faithfulness reaches to the skies; therefore God is exalted above the heavens and His glory is over all the earth. Psalm 108
May God save you and help you with His right hand so those whom He loves may be delivered. Psalm 108
May God lead you into battle, giving you aid against the enemy, for the help of man is worthless; only with God will you gain the victory as He tramples down your enemies. Psalm 108
May you allow God to heal and anoint your tongue and bring forth gentle, wholesome, peaceable, soothing words which give life to the hearers whose crushed, broken, shattered spirits have been breached by deception, crookedness, perverseness and deviousness. Proverbs 15:4

A CONTRITE HEART THAT TREMBLES AT HIS WORD
20 I have found my servant David. I have anointed him with my holy oil. 21 I will STEADY him with my hand; with my powerful arm I will make him strong. 22 His ENEMIES WILL NOT DEFEAT HIM, nor will the wicked overpower him. 23 I will BEAT DOWN his adversaries before him and destroy those who hate him. 28 I will LOVE him and be kind to him forever; MY COVENANT WITH HIM WILL NEVER END." Psalm 89:28 (NLT)
God establishes covenant with His beloved.
The text of this teaching talked about the never ending covenant which God had with David and his descendants.
God promises to love him and be kind to him forever. God's love and kindness are never ending.
You also can do what would register you in the Heart of God forever. You can do what others have not done that would trigger His love for you.
God has established different covenants with different people in the past and in the contemporary time.
There are conditions for cutting or establishing a covenant with God.
Someone who has acknowledged Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour would have to pay attention to some of the principles found in the Bible, for God to be moved and established a covenant with him or her. (i) A Believer whom God would potentially establish a covenant with, should be someone who walks in total Obedience to God's instructions. (ii) The submission of such must be uncompromising. (iii) Such should be able to live sacrificially. He or she should be one who is willing to make sacrifices in doing God's Will. (iv) Giving should be part of the person's life. Giving to God; His work, servants, the Needy, and whichever way he or she is prompted or stirred to do it. (v) Such would have to love God with all his or her Heart, soul or mind, and strength (Mark 12:30). The love for God and His Kingdom should take precedence in the heart of such a person (1 King 3:3,4). This love for God and His Kingdom would enable the person to give all; his or her life, and whatever they have (2 Corinthians 8:1-5). (vi) Humility would be the hallmark, a distinctive feature, of the person. God will not establish a covenant with a proud person (James 4:6; 1 Peter 5:5). (vii) The person would have to be a person who understands the importance of Praise (Hebrews 13:15). Ascribing the glory of his or her success to God. If God knew you would steal, or rob Him of His Glory, He would not allow your lifting. His Glory would He not share with anyone (Isaiah 42:8).
To small or large extent, whatever God will do in someone's life, premises on the condition or the state of the person's Heart towards Him and His Kingdom.
What is going on in your heart determines His works and doings in the affairs of your life.
Another important thing that cannot be put aside is, what you do about His Word. a. Are you indifferent to His Word? (Zechariah 7:13). b. If you realized that you have missed it, how do you feel about it in your Heart—Are you remorseful? (2 Samuel 12:13; 24:10). c. Do you tremble at His Word or despise it? (Psalm 34:18; Isaiah 57:15). d. Do you trivialize His commands or instructions? (Proverbs 1:28,29). e. Do you reverence Him wholeheartedly? (Deuteronomy 10:12; 30:6; Psalm 119:11).
"MY hands have made both heaven and EARTH; THEY and everything in them are MINE. I, THE LORD, HAVE SPOKEN! “I WILL BLESS THOSE WHO HAVE HUMBLE AND CONTRITE HEARTS, WHO TREMBLE AT MY WORD." Isaiah 66:2 (NLT)
"THE LORD IS NEAR to those who HAVE A BROKEN HEART, And SAVES SUCH AS HAVE A CONTRITE SPIRIT." Psalm 34:18 (NKJV)
"THE SACRIFICES of God are A BROKEN SPIRIT, A BROKEN and A CONTRITE [repentant] HEART— These, O God, YOU WILL NOT DESPISE." Psalm 51:17 (NKJV)
God shows mercy to those who had a contrite Heart, who tremble at His Word: 15 FOR He says to Moses, “I WILL HAVE MERCY ON WHOMEVER I WILL HAVE MERCY, AND I WILL HAVE COMPASSION ON WHOMEVER I WILL HAVE COMPASSION.” 16 SO then IT IS NOT of him who WILLS, NOR of him who RUNS, BUT of God who SHOWS MERCY" (Romans 9:15,16 NKJV).
Someone who is heady, stubborn, might not easily receive His mercy.
Trembling at God's Word makes you a candidate for His mercy and Blessings.
God detests pride, and whoever is proud cannot receive anything from Him.
God, rather, resists or stands on the way of the proud: "AND HE GIVES GRACE GENEROUSLY. As the Scriptures SAY, “GOD OPPOSES THE PROUD BUT GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE"" (James 4:6 NLT). READ: 1 Peter 5:5 a. Pride is when you want to get or have something done in your own way, rather than God's Way. When you are not willing to submit your Will to embrace God's Will. b. Pride is the inability to relegate the self and enthrone God. When you do not give to God, His rightful place in your life. c. Pride is when you are self-centered and strong-willed. When your life is centered on the self, and you are unable to endure because of other people, God, and His Kingdom. d. When nobody matters to you, but only you. The talking about the self, calling attention to the self, wanting to dominate every discussion. e. When you believe that you are always Right, whilst others are wrong. That your opinions are the best and should be considered and accepted.
Humble yourself that you might be exalted: HUMBLE YOURSELVES IN THE SIGHT OF THE LORD, AND HE WILL LIFT YOU UP" (James 4:10 NKJV).
You will not fail in Jesus' name.
Whatever is contrary to your health is rebuked in Jesus' name.
What God has not planted in your life, working against your health, is rooted up in Jesus' name. Peace!

“A lot of saints out here binding the devil but it isn't the enemy opposing you, it's God.
Pride is a sin that puts us in direct opposition with the Lord Himself.
I'd rather fight all of hell with a water-pistol than have Yahweh opposed to me.
"God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble." James 4:6
If the Lord is opposed to pride, then humility is the key to having the Lord fight on your side.
Always take the low and humble way. Do not fight for yourself. If you put your hands on the situation God will take His hands off.
If you'll humble yourself to not have what you want now, He will give later what you could never earn in your own strength!”
~ Chris Burns
"For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy:
"I dwell in the high and holy place, With him who has a contrite and humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones."
Isaiah 57:15
