Hey, I love it when Colin tells Penelope she’s beautiful during the mirror scene for many reasons but (correct me if I’m wrong here) this was the first time she didn’t question the compliment? The number of times we see Pen negatively reacting to compliments with “do not mock me”, committing to the beliefs and expectations that she’s the girl the ton expects to be nothing more than a spinster. But in that moment SHE FINALLY ACCEPTS IT 👏👏

Even though she experienced a little bit of self doubt in the run up to it, she had this man on his KNEES declaring his love for her and proposing not even 24 hours prior, and now he’s here showing her their future home and telling her how much he loves her.

She finally felt it, she finally recognised her beauty and that she was desirable in that moment and it just make me a little giddy with joy 🥹

I love how you draw fat people genuinely!! Do you have any specific references you use/used or art you pull inspiration from? < artist who also would like to have the anatomy fluidity that you do in your art

vesta z is the only one i can think of off the top of my head! i really admire they way he draws fat bodies, especially with the delicacy of her lineart and the way she renders hair and clothing….. fuuuuck truly he’s one of my inspirations when it comes to drawing the human figure!! but even then i don’t often study his works. i don’t really have much inspiration taken from other artists (at least not consciously) when it comes to drawing the human form, sorry to disappoint!!

a lot of the stuff i’ve learned has just been pure instinct to me. drawing has always been something i’ve done since i was small, so deciding i want to draw something doesn’t require much practice until i’ve got it down. it all comes naturally at this point :(

Sometimes even the happy chapters with our omega make me sad just because of the premise :") I love that the boys are so nice but I can't imagine how awful it must be to not even be considered a person, be forced into a situation where you have to serve people, as an experiment. Especially considering her dad. Lordddd. I love it so much but it does hurt my heart so bad how unfair it all is 😭😭😭

Yeah, it's a pretty bleak life, even with the guys doing their best to make the reader feel like she's a human being. There's always that knowledge and understanding that lingers knowing you'll never be anything but what you can provide for someone. No matter how hard others try, society won't allow omegas to grow, to be their own people, to have their own things.

It really is bleak and depressing deep down.

okay okay so i was rewatching 'smartie kid" right and there's a moment right before mk gets his gold vision back where for like a frame his eyes flash blue and it's such a quick thing that i didn't notice it the first times i watched it and maybe my brain is webbed up in conspiracy theories but that feels significant? like the writers probably don't mean for people to go through frame by frame or anything but with all the foreshadowing they've shoved into this show it feels like anything could be important??

Anon I will ask you this question—if it didn't matter and the writers don't mean for viewers to go through frame by frame, why include it at all? This is the first moment in s3 where MK uses his powers after supposedly "losing" them at the end of s2, so it's pretty significant. There's totally a reason they had MK's eyes flash blue during this scene. I think it suggest something along the lines of EAMK (Eldritch Abomination MK Theory—aka MK was something terrible in a past life and then sealed in the stone, hatching out a beautiful baby boy), but truly who knows what it's meant to imply.

There are also plenty of other strange occurrences like MK turning Tang Sanzang's magic blue:

Hell, even MK stopping the Samadhi fire in 3x11 all by himself! It all seems to suggest that MK is not what he seems (which currently it seems like he's a stone monkey, just like Wukong). I think you're picking up on what the writers are putting down anon! There are just a lot of weird details that are culminating somewhere, and I'm pretty excited to see where it goes

I want to share it very badly, but from what it seems like, that would be massive spoilers to anyone who wants to read the series and stumble upon this blog. I can only post minor fluff, filler scenes, none of the things I enjoy and love to write (don’t get me wrong, I love writing filler too).

of course, I have my small series “new/out of context quotes and quips” but I can’t find many more quotes, as a lot of it spoils things anyways.

I just wanna share writing without spoiling anything…
