Book Review: Fangboy
Hello Readers,
It’s time for another book review!
Today I’m sharing my review of Fangboy by Jeff Strand.
This time I decided to catch up on my backlog of KU items, so it wasn’t hard to pick this one out. I’ve read The Haunted Forest Tour and An Apocalypse of Our Own, and have become quite the Strand fan.
So, how did this one end up? Let’s find out!

Latest haul!
I made another visit to my local book store and you’ll be able to see what I purchased below. I’ve come to realize this year that reading books and purchasing books are two completely different hobbies of mine. With as many books that I have in my collection at the moment, I’m surprised that people aren’t stopping by my house thinking that another branch has opened up that’s apart of the city…

This man is an amazing writer who touches on the curious and reels them in with interesting possibilities.
He got me out if a reading slump I couldn't explain when I have a stuffed library at my fingertips.
Raise your hands genX geeks 🙋♀️🙋🙋♂️. Y'all can't tell me that this wouldn't catch your attention.
Think about it, we watched some crazy horrors back then.
If you don't know about this goo, you've got to check it out.
Then after all that, I was scared of the the Staypuff Marshmallow Man.
What the heck was wrong with us? The things that were supposed to make us happy, turn on us in the films.
Nirvana was moved from the experience. Enough to title their album, "Nevermind." Ohh so thoughtful.
Now that I thought about it, I u want to ask people what their inspirations were for their work?

Book Review: An Apocalypse of Our Own
Hello Readers!
Alright, this here is my second read on my writer’s retreat.
This time I read An Apocalypse of Our Own by Jeff Strand.
I chose this novella on its own because I prefer to review individual works rather than anthologies. It’s just a lot easier. Alright, on to the review!

Cult Classic Film
Don't believe I paid much attention to this one on the shelves. Heck nobody ever brought it up when I worked in the video game store either. Can you believe the doof who thinks someone will match the $1,500 on eBay? They must live in the Family Guy dimension with Peter as the ponce of a bidder.
It's amazing what such a concept can bring around. As a little kid in the video stores they had cool posters for the movie. Ohh no, I'm too little to watch the crazy film. I'd try to schedule the VCR to record it on TV too. That came to a horrible fail. I got to learn the name Ron Jeremy. Dad cancelled my recording so he can watch his stuff that scared little me.
So I grew up always wanting to watch it. Maybe I should've asked my bestie. Her parents owned a video rental store with video games and everything. But I didn't because we were the studious kids aiming for our private high schools, planning our careers, and colleges to attend. (Yes that's what you get from good private school friends.)
My plans might've veered of course, but that bestie saw how I was dodging barriers left and right to achieve my goals. Now zeroing back in on the tomatoes 🍅🍅.
They've entered my territory on the Kindle novelization by one of my favorite authors. High Five Jeff Strand! I can't wait to Dive on In. (American Dad's Roger took over my thoughts for a second )
