I needed to draw her and jennika bonding time. And work out how her clothes work. (ie. braided sash instead of a braided bandanna b/c she doesn't do ninja stuff.) Also, her and jennika's dynamic would be absolutely hilarious. Shy big sister with gremlin child little sister. <3

Throughout the many iterations of TMNT the four Turtles of the Hamato Clan have always been iconic but Leo, Donnie, Raph & Mikey aren’t the only Turtles of the family & there have been other mutant Turtles throughout the different iterations of TMNT

Another mutant Turtle is one that has been seen a few times in different TMNT iterations either following a ‘separated at mutation’ plot line or have the mutation happen later in the story

Venus

One of the other mutant Turtles that is quite well known within the TMNT fandom would be Venus De Milo who was the 5th Turtle in the Next Mutation show.

Her background was that she was a 5th Turtle that was mutated with Leo, Donnie, Raph & Mikey but got swept away in the sewers until she ended up in China Town where she was found by a Shinobi master & taken to be raised in Shanghai, she would later make her way back to New York & join the Turtle’s team.

Venus also makes an appearance as a character in the IDW comics as a former Punk Frog who was made into a Turtle by Dr Barlow using Donnie’s old shell.

Leo: What are you doing!? That was Venus De Magic the Queen of Quick Change!

There’s a slight possible reference to Venus in Rise with one of Leo’s favourite magicians being called Venus De Magic with Leo cradling the bust of one of his favourite magicians feeling a bit similar to Venus holding the statue head that gave her, her nickname & many people believe that there were plans to include Venus in Rise due to the plot of season 3 being the Turtles finding out they had two missing siblings but due to Rise not getting the season 3 it had expected we never got to find out if Venus really was one of the missing siblings in Rise.

Kirby

Closely related to Venus is the mutant Turtle Kirby a 5th Turtle that had been planned to be introduced in the 1990′s film series before the fourth movie was cancelled, named after the comic book artist Jack Kirby, Kirby was meant to be a Turtle from another dimension that would join the Turtles. There was talk of Kirby being the 5th Turtle in the Next Mutation but Saban Entertainment refused to do the series unless the 5th Turtle was a girl leading to Venus being created.

A version of Kirby was designed for the IDW comics where he was meant to be shown as part of the Splinter Clan in Future Lita’s future however though a design was created for Kirby he was not included in the actual comic.

Funnily enough Kirby the Turtle is not the only TMNT character to be named after Jack Kirby as April’s father in the 2012 series also shares the name Kirby

Jennika

Jennika is the 5th Mutant Turtle on the team in the IDW comics, she is a former Foot Clan Ninja who Splinter took under his wing & was mutated into a Turtle when Leo gave her a blood transfusion to save her life.

Before her mutation Jennika had been a friend of the Turtles & the idea of Jennika becoming a mutant Turtle had been tossed around for three years before it was finally finalised.

Jennika’s mutant form was originally designed by Sophie Campbell & coincidentally bares some resemblance to a fan character that Sophie Campbell designed named Artemisia (most likely named after the Italian painter Artemisia Gentileschi), the similarities between Jennika & Artemisia’s designs are said to be a coincidence as it was requested that Jennika’s bandana colour be yellow to match her hair from when she was human.

Sophie Campbell actually did get to include a canon version of Artemisia in the IDW comics by giving her a cameo in Future Lita’s future as a member of the Splinter Clan in the future.

Slash

Slash is arguably the 5th Turtle that has appeared in the most iterations of TMNT appearing in both the 1987 & 2012 series as well as appearing in both the Archie & IDW comics

In the 1987 series Slash was Bebop’s pet turtle who was mutated by Rocksteady & would later become the Turtle’s enemy, in the 2012 series Slash was Raph’s pet turtle who was mutated accidentally & would act as an enemy to the Turtles before becoming their ally & becoming the leader of the Mutanimals.

In the Archie comics Slash is an alien who was banished from his planet in the IDW comics Slash was mutated by StockGen who ended up following Hob & becoming an ally to the Turtles

Slash has even made a cameo in Rise appearing in the episode Bad Hair Day with a character meant to look like Mona Lisa.

Lita

Lita is a little girl who was mutated into a Turtle & taken in by Jennika & the other Turtles, she was named after Lita Ford (Jennika’s favourite singer), & she seems to view Jennika & the other Turtles as family as the Future version of Lita referred to Jennika as ‘mom’ & has called Raph, Donnie & Leo ‘Dad’.

It’s been shown that at some point in the future Lita becomes the apprentice & assistant to a grown up version of Renet

It appears that the future version of Lita is arguably especially close with Leo due to him being her Sensei

Uno, Yi, Moja & Odyn

Uno, Yi, Moja & Odyn are Turtles raised by Casey Marie Jones as the second generation of Ninja Turtles in the Last Ronin universe. The Turtles each seem to take after one of the original four Turtle’s with Uno taking after Leo, Yi taking after Donnie, Moja taking after Raph & Odyn taking after Mikey.

Each of the Turtles are named after the number one in different languages.

Could you elaborate on Venus being a cyborg? I want to write a scene where Donnie performs maintenance, but I’m still not really sure which parts of Vee are metal and which aren’t.

Are any of her limbs detachable? Or is it all a metallic skeleton? Do you think she deals with phantom pains if Donnie has had to amputate anything?

Not a ton of peaceful moments, but when Draxum would leave the two would be able to relax and spend the day by Three’s wading pool.

Venus mask is stitched on. A lot of her skin/limbs was lost thanks to a combination of spending most of her life in a vat and also her illness. Three has to constantly perform maintenance and update her cybernetics and to make sure the transplants are healthy. So far whatever was causing her body to fail has been stopped from spreading. She does deal with a lot of general daily pain, less from Three’s cybernetics, because he did such a good job on them, and more on the joined spots where Draxum replaced with “spare parts”. It does however hurt when Three has to do mechanical repairs, but it’s normally so light and moves amazingly realistic that Venus often forgets that arm isn’t real.

Venus’s shell and plastron had to be replaced. The shell is mostly metal and much more sleek than her old shell. Three made the plastron replacements look realistic since Venus asked.

Venus will be kind of a sad character for a while, but she will be happy in the end! Donnie and Mikey are the brothers she’s closest to. Donnie spoils her to the extreme, and Mikey is of course her twin so Vee likes to drive Mikey crazy. She is technically the baby of the family, but her and Mikey together are unstoppable when their wants align. Splinter stands no chance of saying no.

Venus does have a very dry sense of humor which leads to Three sometimes not even registering them as jokes. When she gets rescued she’s very much a girly girl. She likes dresses and bows and pink.

Three’s mind doesn’t really think of anything when he’s being rescued. It’s very much a “Savage Donnie” moment where he’s there and talking, but he’s so upset that his mind has gone blank. But even then, Big Mama has kept Venus away for nearly a year, so Three thinks he’s been abandoned and Venus isn’t really on his mind…. Their reunion Cont👇

Venus will see Donnie again somewhere in the middle of “season one”. It won’t be a long reunion, but enough for Donnie to realize he’s been enjoying living with his family, while Venus has been stuck being Big Mama and Draxum’s errand girl. He feels extremely guilty for basically giving up on her. He allowed his bad thoughts, and visions (yes he does see her as well) to convince him that she has abandoned him, but it turns out, all this time, it was the other way around.

Unfortunately, Donnie was the only one to see Venus, and he thinks the fam won’t believe him when he tells them about seeing her, but he’s surprised to find out that they do and they all promise Donnie they’ll rescue her.

In season 2 they run into Venus again, and Donnie is able to have a better conversation with her, but Big Mama has done such a good job spinning lies, that Venus runs off before Donnie can convince her he’s sincerely sorry about leaving her behind. This is when the family learns that Mikey and Venus are twins. Mikey feels bad that Venus seems to have fallen into Big Mama’s web, we will see him angry with Big Mama for the first time on Venus’s behalf.

At the season 2 midpoint Venus agrees to help with Draxum’s cleansing ritual.

At the s2 finale we will see her still aligned with Big Mama BUT….[spoiler] and she will disappear to get her mind together.

She will make a short appearance in the movie.

S3 will be very Venus and Jennika heavy, and it’ll all be about their integration into the family unit. Jennika has her own life in the Hidden City, but Venus will split her time with the family and [spoiler].

The boys really all treat Venus as the little, baby sister, but all to varying degrees. April, Donnie, and Raph dote on her, Leo is wayyy too overprotective and Mikey rubs being slightly older in her face all the time, but they will team up to be The Ultimate Youngest™️. Out of all the “sister group” April and Venus get along the most like sisters. April really helps Venus be girly and learn it’s okay to enjoy these things, to be more than just a mindless drone (Leo will very often help with this mindset as well, and it allows them something deeper to bond over).

now, a lot of the kids know that Venus = magic, in general. however, at least to me, intentionally or not Venus was more portrayed like a daoist... ‘magician’ of sorts, but less in a real world daoist sense and more of a cultivator in the xianxia genre sort of way. granted she wears the taijitu (yin yang symbol) and literally showed the boys her box of herbal medicine (and one dessicated vampire heart lololol). and now that I mentioned all of that, I can segue into why I gave her “White Snake” as a code name-- in that I chose it after Bai Suzhen/Bai Shejing which now that my insomnia riddled mind  is typing it out... my reasoning is actually pretty shallow, they both cultivate technically speaking, both work with herbal medicine and they just wanna help people. also just ‘cuz IDW has Venus wearing white now.

I feel like there is a section of the Tottmnt/mm fandom that may or may not be confused by why another section(the one that I am in) of it LOVES the idea of having she-shells (aka Venus de Milo, Jennika, Lita May, ect.) in that iteration because of how perfect it will be. So even though no one asked imma explain why I personally think that is.

The entire plot line of the she shells is usually along the lines of girls who lost everything and have no where to go. This is mainly because they are mutants but also because the connections they had before mutant or not had been severed, killed of, or left them in cold blood. And the role of the main four turtles is usually to help them get back on their feet or to add them to their family. Because not only are these characters other turtles which are almost always deemed impossible to exist but they are also left with not much. Unlike the she-shells however the main four have each other creating a sort of “let’s be freaks together” heartwarming story.

In mutant mayhem we see that not only are mutants noticed but also in the beginning discarded and abused by humans. This makes the part of the turtles feeling outcasted even more heartbreaking and important to their story and character. But yet again they have each other. Not only that but also their giant family with their cousins and dad. If humans ever doubted them again they’d have almost a literal mob to help them.

So by adding the she-shells their arc becomes more than just a “let’s be freaks together” narrative but also a “I know how you feel. You are not alone and we will find people who don’t hurt us. Not anymore.”. The main four would not only introduce them to an entire family who has a similar trauma to what they have but also an entire human world to introduce them to now that they are accepted. Like I said on another post the “older” characters would see a reflection of themselves in the newer characters and sort of be the person they didn’t get to have but needed when going through such things.

So there’s what I think the thought process of the general idea is (comment if I’m outrageously wrong or if you had a different idea in your head). Sorry for wasting your time but I have another “small” idea.

More model sheets! This time involving some girl turtles.

These are the younger sisters of the boys, Jennika and Spica.

Jennika unlike her IDW counterpart, has always been a member of the Hamato family and in the modern era, has always been a turtle. She's the second youngest and is training to be a ninja like her brothers. However, her skills lie more in attacking from a distance and keeping to the shadows exclusively. Hence her weapon of choice is the bow and arrow.

Spica is the youngest sister and youngest sibling. Being only 10, she's not in the same heavy training as her brothers and sister. However, she is learning aikido and her main focus is more so learning how to be a chef rather than a ninja. Girl has a gift for making good pizza.

I wanna clarify before I say this that I don't hate Jennika. I think she's a cool character and a great addition to the TMNT cast, however it kinda bothers me how easily she has been slipped into being in the main cast, being the official "5th Turtle" and how some advertisements show five turtles instead of the main 4 nowadays. I think it's because no other "5th Turtle" character has gotten this much treatment and respect and it kinda bothers me. Characters like Slash and even Venus have been around much longer in the franchise and have been honored with the "5th Turtle" status at some point, yet they never got this much recognition and love compared to Jennika.

Personally, if I wanted anyone to be honored as the "5th Turtle" I'd much rather have it be Slash. He's always been a much more interesting and complex character with a great concept to explore. Again, no hate to Jennika, she's still a great character, it just bothers me how much attention she is getting as the "5th Turtle" so quickly compared to previous "5th Turtles" who, in my opinion, deserve it a little bit more or at the very least deserve more love and attention from the franchise and its own fans.

I just finished my version of Venus, Jennika, Mona Lisa, and Lita for my AU.

Venus is 24 years old and was Bishop's first test subject thus he discarded her when she seemed like a failure. She was raised by a nice old Asian man who runs an Asian restaurant. She is a Yellow-blotched map turtle. She is not aware of her past and she doesn't know about her younger siblings. She lives in a secret Yokai city under New York called the Underground. She is biologically male, but identifies as female. She is pansexual and transgender.

Jennika is 18 years old and is the twin of Raphael. However unlike Raphael she doesn't get rescued and so she remains in the care of Bishop. When the Shredder comes around she becomes his first mutant super soldier. She knows about her past and seems to hate her siblings because she was left behind. She is biologically male, but identifies as female. She is demisexual and transgender.

Mona Lisa is 16 years old and is a Yokai from the Underground. She becomes involved with the story when she meets Raphael at Central Park. She shows the turtles the Underground and introduces them to her roommate Venus. She also tells them about an evil Yokai who wants to rule the world. Mona Lisa is biologically female and identifies as female. She is however a Lesbian.

Lita is 8 years old and is the daughter of Venus. She was born of Venus and a human girl(I will draw her) back when Venus was in high school. She lives with her mom(Venus), her Mommy and her big sister Mona Lisa. She is hybrid so she looks much different than either of her parents, though she seems to be a turtle at first glance. She is a very big fan of her sciences teacher Mr. Draxum, who is a member of the Royal Society of Scientists. She is a child prodigy. She is biologically female and identifies as female.

I hope you like my girls and are looking forward to seeing Lita's mommy and Draxum because they will be the characters that I'm going to do next. Then I will make the clothes for these girls.

Decided to make a complicated diagram of the main people in RB but it’s not gonna fit words so I’m writing everything here. All of the info is going to be the basic info for lack of spoilers and lack of time to write.

Long infodump under the cut:

Obviously, we have the siblings; Hamatos, Umigames, the step siblings. But how are they with each other?

The Umigame twins have a very rocky relationship with each other, but they do need each other and have been each others safety for years.

The step siblings… well. The usual. Kendra manipulates Jase etc. eventually Jase stands up to her though, after mutation.

The Hamatos are mostly the same, but now have new concerns for each other: Leo’s avoidant behaviour, Donnie’s smoking, Raphs meltdowns, Mikey’s tremors. Also, Frida isn’t a Hamato

Then we have the romantic relationships

Aris and Donnie go from strong loathing to severe codependency. They’ll get antsy if they haven’t seen each other for a more than an hour. Jason and Aris go from friends to partners, but Donnie and Jase are very jealous and often are competitive with each other, sometimes even after actually getting together themselves.

Kitsune and Chizu ran away together in their early teens, as Kitsune was homeless already and Chizu was suffering in the Neko Ninja clan. Very in love. They’re wholesome. Judge people together.

Leo and Usagi, the stars of the show, have a very shit relationship. They’re very loving and caring in human form, at first not knowing the other wasn’t truly a human person. Leo struggles with saying I love you, and it hurts Usa a lot, but he tolerates it for his comfort. But in their natural forms things are really… Okay they’re just really complicated and you’ll see

While also dating Sheena, Jennika eventually ends up with Frida and Plato as well. The two end up together as a frenemys to lovers first, and Jenny is an eventual addition. Jenny and Frida work as big mamas assistants together, Frida having worked for her since childhood

Other Relationships

Plato is best friends with Raphael. They wrestle, have feelings jams. She’s also the person she ends up sharing a room with when the Umigames are forced to move in. Aris, however, is intimidated by Raphael, and tries to leave her alone. She scares him.

Plato isn’t too close with Mikey, but they sometimes cook together. Aris also isn’t too close with them but they give him little Dr Feelings sessions, which he used to ignore until meeting Dr Delicate Touch.

Plato is also pretty close with Leo, but they tend to make fun of each other. Since Leo reminds Aris of his twin, he finds him annoying and doesn’t like his company… much. Sometimes he’s tolerable.

Plato doesn’t like Donnie at all. He went from hurting her brother and now he’s in his pants? Hell no! She annoys him a lot. He doesn’t like her either. She’s worse than Leo.

Leo and Donnie don’t trust Frida, and neither does Raph but she… tries to be nice. Mikey LOVES her and considers her family even though she isn’t related to them in the slightest. It’s a lot like the Draxum situation.

Aris doesn’t just not trust Frida, he HATES her. Which sucks, cause if he got past his Big Mama Trauma TM, they’d probably be close friends.

Mikey is very close friends with Jennika and goes to her for intel on Big Mama, Leo thinks she’s dope, Raph sometimes spars with her. Donnie doesn’t like her but they’ll tolerate her presence. She’s useful.

Everyone fucking hates Kendra. Except Kitsune, Kistune thinks she’s cool as fuck.

Donnie has Kitsune steal things for him, and he’s pretty good friends with Chizu because Autism to Autism Communication.

Gen and Raph are also pretty close! They met before the rest of their little teams met each other. Small world.

Mikey likes Usagi, but nobody else in the family trusts him. The boyfriends get NO trust in those families.

Gen took Chizu and Kitsune in when they were younger. His parents were never home anyways. Eventually he decided he was adopting Usagi as a little brother too. They’re family now. You can’t stop him from collecting siblings.

Aris and Chizu made out once when he was 15 and she was 16 and then never talked about it again. They’re casual friends now. Don’t really talk much.

I own the first two books of IDW, so I do know who Alopex is. I haven’t gotten to Jennika, though I’ve seen stuff about her.

Currently, I don’t really like Alopex. However I haven’t read all of the IDW comics so I don’t think it’s fair to judge her right now.

I think Jennika is pretty cool, but I know almost nothing about her. If I remember correctly(please tell me if I’m wrong) she was mutated from Leo giving her his blood(or maybe that was Venus…)? I know she wears yellow and has Shredder Claws as her weapon. Again, I don’t know much about her, but she seems cool :]

Artist note:

When I first heard that the Rise boy’s have two long lost sisters. My first thought was they were Venus and Jennika. I had thought about how they’ll be introduced in my version until a Q&A interview with the creator on Twitter. One of their sisters work for Big Mama and he suggested her name was going to be Frida or something like. He wanted to name them after female artist. And the other sister was going to be lost in other dimension. Because of this I rethought the boy’s sisters. Another reason to the change of sisters, which is lame and you might hate me for, I later didn’t know or really care for Venus and Jennika. Instead I replace them with an original character, Frida, and brought back their human sister, Miwa, who is also their half-sister.

Originally, Miwa was plan to be mutated as a turtle, obviously I scrapped it. She isn’t a long lost sister, she a bonus or a surprise sister. Splinter didn’t knew he has a daughter with his ex-wife, Tang Shen, until she randomly showed up in the lair saying she’s his daughter.

Originally, Venus de Magic, the statue that the boys saw in the Magic Town House. Was supposed to be Venus de Milo. She was going to have illusion nippo that allowed her to disguise and live among the human. But that was scrapped, however the illusion nippo was kept for Frida along wither her tessen. Frida is the assistant that works for Big Mama, well in my version she’s actually Big Mama’s adoptive daughter, Olivier, assistant.

Since Leo's transfem, does she fully identify with being a girl or is there also something else mixed in there too? If it's not too spoilery how does she find this out :3

She fully identifies with being a girl, yes!! Although it takes her a good while to accept that she's trans and even longer to go through the gender pipeline

The first time she starts feeling gender envy is when she meets April at the age of 11, however she's already pretty far into the whole "squishing any unwanted emotions" thing by then, so she ignores it entirely, even if it does nag at her a bit. But, it comes back to the surface when she meets Jennika. She pushes it down again, only for it to come back yet again when she meets Venus, and again and again from there.

However, whilst this is happening, Casey is also helping her unlearn all the tendencies she learned from Splinter, and they unravel even further via another character present in Season 4, and she can no longer just ignore it. She knows she has to ask for help regarding... whatevet this is. But before she can tell anyone about these strange feelings, shit goes down and she absolutely shuts down, pushing it all down again.

I havent set out all of Season 5 yet so I'm not entirely sure when she'd tell the others but by the finale/epilogue she's slowly accepting it and has started dressing more fem and referring to herself as such, but prior to this she goes from he/they, to he/she, to she/he, to she/her.

Don't worry about asking spoiler-y questions!!! There's very few spoilers I won't talk about at this point since it's gonna take me a very long time to fully write Ret. Jennika looks up at Raph. Quite a few of the red banded turtles here approached as gentle giants, and this one was no different. The way he crouched down on his haunches, and had a timid, but gentle smile as he held out the water bottles, which were eclipsed in his hands. Jennika adjusted her hold on her little sister, Lita, who was unfazed by the large, snapping alligator turtle. Then again, Lita was hardly phased by mutants, there were times she seemed more excited to see them than regular humans. Jennika didn’t really get it. “Thank you.” Jennika answers gratefully, as she takes the water bottles from Raph. “I can only stay in the shallow areas, on account of my sister.” She gestures to the human baby in her arms. “However, would you like to make a sandcastle and moat with us?” She asks sincerely. Lita gurgles her content.

So. I don't see enough people acknowledging the painful NON EXISTENCE of Venus and Jennika in ROTTMNT

Like. Excuse me? Especially with the recent news of Venus going to be named Frida Khalo if they hadn't cancelled the show?!

NO because Frida is such an amazing name for ROTTMNT's version of Venus. Characterizing her and making her her own character within the show, considering how many original characters the show has anyways!

Besides, high time the girls were named after women artisits anyways! Never understood naming her after a MAN when there are plenty of women artists in the world that were crucial and very influential in artistic history!

I assume if they name her after Frida, she would speak Spanish too. Although, it would be different versions and I wonder how they would've handled that?

Cannonically, Leo learned Spanish by listening to the Puerto Rican population in their city, however Frida is, of course, from Mexico. So would they make Frida(Venus) know Mexican Spanish or Puerto Rican Spanish?

Incoming TMNT rant:

One thing that bugs me is that there were, in fact, famous female painters during the Renaissance, even though they weren’t as famous as their male counterparts.

I get that with Venus the lack of good internet at the time of her creation meant that they couldn’t find out about said painters. And with Jennika she wasn’t initially intended to become a mutant turtle.

But it still bugs the heck out of me that none of these amazing painters’ names were used.

Like Artemisia Gentileschi, who was a Baroque painter who lived between 1593 and 1653. She was also a prominent feminist scholar and artist. Her paintings have become immensely valuable, fetching millions of dollars today. Her work is so stunning that the National Gallery in London staged a blockbuster exhibition of her work in 2020, the first by a single female artist.

While many Renaissance artists tended to portray males with strong masculine figures, Gentileschi remained committed to women’s empowerment. Her works often featured strong women taking on male villains and revealing double meanings. It is difficult to know whether her art was influenced by her personal experiences. However, it is likely that her influence on art history was profound. Artemisia Gentileschi was one of the first female artists to create a distinctly female style.

Or Elisabetta Sirani, an Italian painter who depicted powerful women in history. She was particularly interested in depicting the strength and intelligence of women, especially those who suffered from male aggression. Her portraits of the biblical heroine Judith, a woman who was tempted by Satan, are also famous. In her paintings, women are shown overcoming their weaknesses and achieving triumph in the face of male aggression.

Elisabetta Sirani’s work was influenced by her experiences in the art world. She was one of the first female painters in Italy, and her artistic talent is immense. At 27, she was already a prolific artist and founded the first Academy of female painters in Europe. Born to Giovanni Andrea Sirani and Margherita Sirani, Elisabetta was the daughter of a renowned painter, Giovanni Andrea. She was the fourth child of Giovanni Andrea and Margherita Sirani, and spent her youth in her father’s art studio.

Personally out of all the female Renaissance painters I’ve found, these two stick out to me as particularly deserving.

Perhaps it could be heavily implied that they are counterparts to Jennika and Venus, but I’d really at some point would love to see sister turtles in either a Rise season 3 or some future iteration of the TMNT with the names of female Renaissance painters to match the theme of the names of the brother turtles.

we know shes in "Mama Duck: Part 2" before her mutation, so it's just a matter of figuring who she is.

my main guesses are the pizza place employee and Hunee.

my main reasoning for the employee is that the panels they're in are are more yellow than the rest of the comic:

it might just be that they're brighter than the rest of it, but there is some yellow lighting from the sign. it's worth noting that the other turtles are not affected by this lighting, implying that whatever meaning it may have does not apply to them.

all of the turtles have red masks in redline, but their designs still clearly take some inspiration from their signature colors (other than Mikey*), so hinting at jennika by using her color is not out of the question.

also, the towel over the employee's shoulder looks similar to the turtle's red masks. this could be turned into their own mask in the future, especially since they probably will not work at a normal human job anymore if they get mutated.

the way this person gets cut off and seems curious about where the turtles went also just raises a few flags. this is mostly based on "eh you just aaaah... you know it when you see it?" because the employee's reaction was also simply reasonable.

My other main theory is Hunee. this has a bit less to stand on because she is clearly the interpretation of Hun, but still worth thinking about.

shes still got the yellow in her hair, and in her introductory panel she has completely white eyes like the turtles do when they wear their masks.

it would also make sense for her to start out as an antagonist, because in the IDW comics, jennika is originally a member of the foot clan.

however, she is the redline iteration of Hun, the leader of the purple dragons. she already has a name and there is no reason for her to change it.

she is still very mysterious at this point though, and as the leader of a criminal organization, she may have reasons to use a fake name. I don't count her status as a version of Hun a deal breaker, because a version of tmnt where they are one in the same has the potential to be interesting. plus, it would be an excellent red herring.

I still think this is the less likely theory, but it is not impossible

Although, I think it would be pretty funny if it was a background character with no dialogue, like one of the other purple dragons we see.
