Thanksgiving was officially the busiest shift Khare had ever had but she stuck to it diligently, alternating between taking orders and helping out in the kitchens to serve up huge plates of turkey with all the trimmings.

He watches things like How It’s Made, National Geographic documentaries, if he wants a little laugh those shows about “aliens”. Skin Walker Ranch is his dirty little side piece TV show

He just enjoys educational shows because they are easy to tune out

Really loves Soap Operas. Young and the Restless and General Hospital are kept up with religiously(hah). He, Diavolo, and Barbatos usually watch it. Dia really likes it and Barbatos watches when working with Dia second hand while doing work. He latched on after watching it in the background a few times.

Also, just the news. Mans will put on a 24 hour news station and will keep it on for like, 5 days. 

Mammon

He watches Harrison Porter, so give him the joy that is Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit.

Would also enjoy the Spiderwick Chronicles movie since he doesn’t know how bad it was compared to the books

Just a big fantasy fan honestly. Loves them.

On another note, he also loves trashy reality TV and News. The only one who beats out his love for celebrity gossip is Asmo. When he is putting on a TV show to go brain dead to its something from TLC, like 90 Day Fiance, I Love a Mama’s Boy, etc. 

He watches the Kentucky Derby, bets on it a lot (loses a lot too)

His dirty secret show/movies are Hallmark movies. He watches them when he won’t get caught. Hopeless romantic nerd (Affectionate)

He has a preference for books most of the time I feel like. Just goes with the flow

He watches whatever Diavolo puts on in the background. Likes the Soap Operas some times, gets a little annoyed with anime voices when he has a migraine.

Kitchen Nightmares and Hell's Kitchen just hits right for him. Loves the insults

He doesn't much watch TV either though. Prefers audio books since they are easier to carry around

Also likes early 80's and bad CG horror movies. Kid literally laughs and Mammon is losing his mind next to him. I think because of the bad effects it makes it more tolerable.

Dark Matter Joan: [?] After suffering from a heavy mental breakdown from all the stress in her life, Joan experienced what few angels managed to achieve and regret: turning into a demon. When an angel falls into temptation multiple times, loses their faith in God, or their sanity depletes to 0%, their souls become corrupted and the holy spirit within them turns into demonic dark matter that gives them the ability to consume whatever is in their way, getting stronger in the process and gaining whatever powers they obtain from their victims. When Joan became corrupted, two archangel soldiers from her home dimension arrested her, then placed her in a cage made out of holy magic to prevent her from escaping after she attacked one of them and got her right hand sliced off. During her trial in her homeworld, Joan attacked one of her handlers, and was placed in a comatose state by a tranquilizer dart. While recovering from her breakdown, the dark matter that corrupted her body fled the dimension, and found the detached hand, which was inside of Rick Sanchez's garage after sneaking into his ship, and possessed it, bringing it back to life. After scurrying around his belongings, the hand found one of the "bulbs" that contain the portal liquid for Sanchez's portal gun, and consumed it. Hopping into the C-131 dimension, it consumed all of the Mr. Frundles infected objects, slowly rebuilding the rest of the body, now gaining the ability to corrupt other live organisms with a single bite. After heading back to the Smith's house, and due to certain circumstances, she kidnaps Morty and Summer and brings them to a small planet with breathable air and plenty of food and water. When Rick, Space Beth, Beth, and Jerry go to save the kids, Joan refuses to give Morty and Summer up, calling on the parents and Rick's mess ups in their way of raising the teens and how it would affect them in the future, proving that the dark matter is still connected to the original Joan's conscious and is just acting on her morals without her race's limits on sinning. When she found about the Citadel of Ricks, she started biting off the heads of the Ricks living there, gaining their memories and intelligence in the process, then biting and infecting their Mortys, corrupting them in the process. After she corrupted and turned every Morty into her loyal hellspawn (or "children", as she refers them to), she goes back to the Mr. Frundles dimension to use it as a feeding ground for her and the corrupted Mortys. In order to prevent her hellspawn from attacking the main Rick Sanchez and Morty Smith and their family, she secretly placed an enchanted tattoo on each member's hand that repels evil.

Dark Matter Joan is completely made out of ink-like tar, solid most of the time but starts dripping when emotional. Her eyes and mouth glow a bright white. Almost every part of her body is sharpened to a point, especially her horns, tail, and talons. She can form an oval shaped blob or her humanoid form, both having shapeshifting and flight abilities. She particularly uses her blob form to kidnap the Smith children and escape the household by phasing through the roof. She has demonic powers and resistances that are the opposite of what she had in her uncorrupted form, but also weakness that most demons have. Her wings are massive, having a wingspan of 15 feet, and drag behind her when they are folded. She can survive being in space, and those who are "absorbed" into her in her blob form are also able to breathe normally, but she must eat and stay hydrated like any other animal. She likes to perch on high places, her tail either swinging side to side, limp, or arched and ready to attack. [?]

I have a new favorite miniseries called Pixar in Real Life. They take elements from their movies and put them in real life situations to see people's reactions. For example, people can play with the console from Inside Out, and actors nearby would change their emotions. Another episode had people at the real Marine Life Institute react to a baby stroller being pushed around by an octopus (Finding Dory). Someone would ask help looking for a wedding ring in the trash, and Wall-E would appear holding the ring. Those are fun examples, others include Coco, Up, Monsters Inc, Brave, Incredibles and Toy Story 2.

But this was made in 2019, and it's listed as a series, making me wonder after three films and counting, could they make more? And how, cause some of these scenarios include great effects and timing. Well, here's a few scenarios I came up with:

- Some humans have a stand set up with a wizard staff, and are looking for more wizards to train. Any volunteers would attempt to say the magic words, and the special effects take it from there. Bonus if they use makeup to have two actors running the stand dressed and acting as Ian and Barley.

- Similar to the console one from Inside Out, a console that looks like it was out of the You Seminar would be set up, and listed is a bunch of personality traits. When someone hits a button, a nearby actor changes their personality. (Maybe they'll have a human representative named Jerry from the You Seminar to make things less complicated.)

- An African American guy named is walking around asking people if they have seen his cat Mr. Mittens. He acts a little funny, finding joy or annoyance in little things like it's his first day on earth, and mentions things such as he's an unborn soul named 22 from the You Seminar. The skit ends with a pudgy calico cat appearing with a slice of pizza in his mouth, and bonus if the guy up and eats the slice of pizza.

- A bunch of recruiters are attempting to recruit people to sign up for classes at a prestigious university, where you can learn important skills such as how to scare and how to turn screams into energy.

- Similar to the Buy n Large skit, a bunch of waiters dressed in knight armor run a pop up restaurant called Manticore's Tavern, and it serves food such as Griffin Nuggets and Fried Dragon. They tell of their manager named The Manticore, who has currently flew off with two elves to go on a quest, and maybe tell a story about one of them.

- There's a pop up antique shop and on display in the window is a few toys from Toy Story 3, such as Woody, Buzz, Bo, Ducky and Bunny and Forky. When people pass the window, Forky randomly moves and calls out to them, asking for help because he's not a toy, he's trash and should be thrown away.

- A hippie sign spinner shows off his amazing skills when a bunch of his hippie friends show up and start some kind of mediation ritual including bongos and tambourines. The sign spinner requests volunteers to sit in a circle he draws out of chalk at the end of his clear crystal staff, and he and his group help the volunteers break out of what is keeping them a lost soul.

- I haven't seen Luca or Turning Red yet to imagine those yet, but I bet Turning Red involves someone turning into a red panda.

The Nasty Truth About America’s Love Affair with Narcissism and Self Pity

📷There is a saying, “the crazy people have taken over the asylum.” They did that in the United States in 2016, a nation ruled by grifters, petty criminals and the delusional.The sane and decent became the “silent majority” as the not just America but the world learned that the darkness of the American soul depicted so often by Hollywood is not fiction at all and that a reality TV actor had tapped into a cesspit of sewage that has seeped into every American community.Then came 2020.By sheer luck along and, yes, the votes of 81 million Americans lucky enough to survive voter suppression and intimidation financed by a worldwide organized crime cartel, the insane are now out of power.The new “captain’’ of America’s “ship of state” may well, however, have something on his hands worse than the Titanic. The Titanic had the courtesy to actually sink while America, under this analogy, drifts lifelessly along.Extremism is big money in America, climate denialism, race hatred, social discord and civil war, hate is both a product and an addiction.It is also one of America’s biggest businesses. There would be no social media, no Google, no news organizations, no underbelly of device driven ecstasy, without fear and hate being marketed like cigarettes and CBD gummies.Roots of America’s Politics of Fear and Hate 2.0American extremism is not the result of poverty or oppression. It originates among the privileged, the “haves” who adhere to insane beliefs driven by boredom and generalized dissatisfaction at lives the rest of the word would envy, overpaid jobs, gas guzzling cars and trucks and fast food laden with fats and poisonous additives.If you asked many millions of Americans to define “reality,” their brains would grind to a halt. Reality is based, not on experience or observation but on “beliefs” and strongly held “opinions” which are invariably those scripted for them.Beliefs and opinions untested by the feedback loop of life has created a generation of Americans who are, essentially, living in a video game. This makes Qanon a AI program.Collective delusion has become the norm for many, and by “many” we mean up to 150 million lost souls, caught in an RPG game or, for some, a “first person shooter.”What does it make those who play? But then we have seen all this before, just without a population softened up to this degree by chaos theory conditioning. Some background:The Roots of Fascist AmericaIn 1940, Adolf Hitler was Time Magazine’s man of the year. The parents and grandparents of Trump’s supporters, following Huey Long, Gerald L.K. Smith, Father Coughlin and Charles Lindbergh sought to establish a “whites only” America based on the German model with carefully selected military leaders run by Wall Street pulling the strings.There is something magical, even today, about being “white folks.” That magic originated in the 18th and 19th centuries with the “Sturm and Drang” movement. Extremes of emotion and subjectivity were exalted above rationalism.Childish temper tantrums became a philosophy and eventually a political movement.The movement, which failed in Europe, found fertile ground in the United States in a society that increasingly defined itself though ritualized slavery and degradation and oppression of “coloured races.”This was a society built on the genocide that wiped out millions of indigenous peoples with the survivors now living on “reservations.”Imagine land where nothing grows, and no one could live. This is an “Indian reservation.” From time-to-time oil is found or minerals or there is a need to build a pipeline. Then even the worst land on earth is taken away.This was done in South Africa. It was done in Rhodesia. It used to be called “colonialism.”By the 20th century there were no indigenous people left to imprison. America then turned to warring against the freed slaves and millions of “undesirable” European immigrants, Catholics and Jews in particular.Curiously, this war was centered on banking issues, blocking trade unions, sustaining child labor and controlling farm prices. This created the alignments that

exist today, the strong tie between Wall Street and homegrown extremism built of bigotry and race hatred.You see, too many of the undesirables that fled autocratic Europe found that the long hand of international banking that maintained serfdom for millions, even in supposedly advanced Western Europe, had institutionalized the same in the United States under the guise of representative democracy.Leading the way was the resurgent Ku Klux Klan.By the 1920s national membership was estimated at over 8 million. Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and a dozen other northern and western states were governed by Klan controlled politicians who used the state militias and National Guard as a private army and local police as armed enforcers.Behind it all, the banks that brought Hitler to power and the American corporations that made millions financing Nazi Germany’s war machine, General Motors, Dupont-Remington, Lockheed, Alcoa and General Motors.Even Hitler Would Cringe…The new American revolution, driven by Donald Trump and his televangelist backers, is the result of as social anthropologists note, generations being allowed to live the life of spoiled children, steeped in narcissism and self-pity.The events of January 6, 2020 and how it tied to many American religious leaders has emptied churches across the US, with millions finding themselves humiliated with having followed “false prophets” in support of hatred and tyranny. From Salon:“…these religious figures (Trump’s powerful televangelist backers) and the institutions they led (have become) hyper-political, the outward mission (has)seemed to be almost exclusively in service of oppressing others. The religious right is not nearly as interested in feeding the hungry and sheltering the homeless as much as using religion as an all-purpose excuse to abuse women and LGBTQ people. In an age of growing wealth inequalities, with more and more Americans living hand-to-mouth, many visible religious authorities were using their power to support politicians and laws to take health care access from women and fight against marriage between same-sex couples. And then Donald Trump happened.Trump was a thrice-married chronic adulterer who routinely exposed how ignorant he was of religion, and who reportedly — and let’s face it, obviously — made fun of religious leaders behind their backs. But religious right leaders did not care. They continually pumped Trump up like he was the second coming, showily praying over him and extorting their followers to have faith in a man who literally could not have better conformed to the prophecies of the Antichrist. It was comically over the top, how extensively Christian right leaders exposed themselves as motivated by power, not faith.”Jerry Falwell Jr., who introduced Donald Trump to America’s evangelical Christians, is himself an enigmatic figure.Falwell is typical of America’s religious leaders and stories such as this, from Fox News, are daily fodder for Americans:“Jerry Falwell Jr. allegedly played games with his wife Becki where they’d rank Liberty University students, they most wanted to have sex with, according to one pupil who claimed to have been intimate with Becki.The ex-student — who claims Becki initiated oral sex with him 10 years ago — told Politico that she bragged about playing the sex-ranking game while walking around the Virginia campus with her evangelical-leader husband.‘Her and Jerry would eye people down on campus,’ the former student of the conservative school told the outlet.Social Engineering Through PandemicAnyone who really lives in America will make this perfectly clear, this country has turned into a lunatic asylum. Our previous president told us COVID was a hoax, allowed over 40,000 from China enter the US while the threat of COVID was well known and turned his back while, today’s figure, 570,264 Americans died. Experts now cite that Trump was personally responsible for over 400,000 of those deaths. He is quite simply a mass murderer.Do remember that only 900 died in Australia. Canada lost 23,000. 35 died in Vietnam. 440 died in

Cuba.One might wonder how a Hitleresque figure such as Donald Trump could have millions of followers while the legal mechanisms in the US are amassing evidence for both criminal and civil prosecutions which quite probably will never come to bear.Groundhog Day, an Unending NightmareLet me tell you how I began my morning. As a journalist and intelligence briefer, I review incoming material, both open source and private intel. The big story overnight involves a revelation on a religious talk show involving theories on COVID 19 and vaccines.The show is by Jim Bakker, an important religious leader and political advisor. In 1989, Bakker was sentenced to 45 years in prison for mail and wire fraud but served on 5 of those years. He has stolen tens of million of dollars from his congregation to support a wild and lavish lifestyle of utter debauchery.In this area, he is typical of America’s evangelical Christian leaders.The guest on Bakker’s show was Steve Quayle. I know Quayle as an advisor to President George ‘W’ Bush on Middle East affairs. I know of no qualifications for this post.I do know of Quayle. After 9/11 he approached my staff in Amman, Jordan offering them generous payments to “launder” otherwise sourceless intelligence on Iraq into the Bush White House to justify an American invasion of that nation.Two million people died, maybe many more, due to fake US intelligence on Iraq. No weapons of mass destruction were ever found.Groundhog Day TwoLet us take the clock back a few years. I remember traveling to Kentucky, then and still a very backward area of the country, in 1956 to visit relatives. This was a presidential election year, and my father was working for Adlai Stevenson, the Democratic candidate that was opposing Dwight Eisenhower.Even I, at a fairly young age, was flabbergasted at the dinner table discussion that day as my “hillbilly” relatives expounded on their political opinions and version of historical fact. This is how they laid it out:We should support “Ike” because he killed Hitler personally after storming Berlin. They described a sword fight. What they described reminded me of the death of the Sheriff of Nottingham played by Basil Rathbone in the 1938 film Robin Hood starring Errol Flynn. They then went out to describe how the US beat both Russia and Germany who were at war with the US. It seems Russia did not fight Hitler at all but was actually Germany’s ally. My father, a reasonably educated person and longtime friend of Russia, found this somewhat disturbing. Next, we heard about how “godless communists” were going to take away our freedoms and destroy our standard of living. I might remind you that my relatives in Hazard, Kentucky had no electricity or plumbing. One of my cousins lived in an abandoned car parked in a slag field.During that trip, we visited my grandfather, a retired coal miner. He lived in a shack covered with tar paper along a railroad track. I loved my grandfather.Life Lessons Do not Come Over the InternetOver the next 60 plus years, I had shared tea with farmers in Vietnam, military veterans living in a small shack in the Khyber Pass and everything from heads of state to struggling farmers all over Africa and the Middle East. None would have guessed that there are Americans that live in not just utter poverty but steeped not only in delusional ignorance but far worse than that.A current obsession with American “conservatives” is the fear of being overrun with transexuals, who, according to many, represent a threat to our freedoms. I have never met a transsexual. From what I understand, up to 10,000 currently serve in America’s armed forces.Back during the 1960s when I served with a Marine combat unit in Vietnam, we probably had no transexuals, only gay or “homosexual” Marines and Navy. Absolutely nothing was thought of it as these individuals invariably served with honor and courage.They existed in significant numbers.Today aging “conservatives” who avoided military service in Vietnam continually harp about saving the rest of us from “homosexuals in the military.”Voting and

“Jim Crow”Let us take another look at efforts by the Hitleresque racists and bigots to save the rest of us from ourselves, against our will of course. In Georgia, the legislature recently passed a law that makes it a felony to offer water to someone waiting in line to vote.Water is an issue because, in Georgia and many GOP (Trump’s party) run states, polling places in areas where people of color vote have been closed causing day long lines. In 2020, volunteers offered food and water to those who would otherwise have either collapsed or left without voting. Now offering food and water can lead to being executed by racist police, quite literally, or spending 5 years in prison.In 2020, voters in many key urban areas were threatened by armed neo-Nazi militias or openly threated in emails from Proud Boys and Oath Keepers, organizations deemed terrorist in Canada and now citied by the US Department of Justice as trying to overthrow the US government.In January, during a US Senate runoff election in Georgia, 364,000 voters were challenged by the GOP in Georgia as “illegal.” All of them were African American. All 364,000 were qualified to vote and their votes were eventually counted, giving Georgia two Democratic US Senators.The Federal Elections Commission is now investigating that this effort to rig the Georgia senate elections was secretly financed by illegal contributions from members of organized crime.Groundhog Day ThreeI live in a rural and primarily Republican area. I parked my car less than 30 feet from the door of a polling place, a local church, and voted in less than 3 minutes with no lines or ID check.In order to limit mail voting, Trump ordered mail sorting machines destroyed with sledgehammers and over 40,000 mailboxes picked up and junked as scrap metal. Mail service in many cities simply ended. One letter I sent to Washington DC from Michigan took 45 days to arrive.Hundreds of millions of pieces of mail, starting in late September 2020 simply disappeared, not just votes but government checks, Christmas presents and medications from pharmacies sent to Veterans.All of this was not just publicly known, things are far worse than that. Those who so many decades ago believed the United States fought Russia in World War Two, would raise children and grandchildren with no respect for human rights, no understanding of democracy, no ethical norms nor any remote understanding of right or wrong.This is the reality for those living in America, a reality that those who watch America from afar through the distorted lens of Google Corporation and the press, can never fathom.Ah, but things are so much worse than that. It is not just having spent 4 years with a president who told us you could cure covid by drinking bleach or eating flashlights. It gets worse.Groundhog Day FourA few days ago, former Trump advisor Cirsten Welcon claimed that President Biden had been paid billions of dollars by China to let them test their newest “weather weapons” on Texas. Power outages there, now attributed to corrupt backroom deals by Republican politicians, led to many deaths and considerable suffering.Little did any of us know of the role of the magic Chinese weather machines.In another vignette, it has been a years since Trump advisor and televangelist Kenneth Copeland stood before a television audience raving like a lunatic. // whew. jess has a history™. it's long af and spans nearly a century so im not gonna go into crazy detail, but it's still lengthy. and i'm also gonna modify just a bit to fit in with the mcu for plotting reasons and stuff. if you don’t really care about her full history then there’s some bullet points toward the bottom.

she was born in england in 1924 and brought as a small child to the transia (it's a small, fictional slavic country) where her father was conducting research. unfortunately due to her being a small child, she contracted uranium poisoning from her father's work and had to be placed in a cryogenic chamber and treated with radiation and a highly experimental serum derived from the blood/genes of various species of spider.

she spent decades in stasis, educated subliminally with special tapes. when she was finally awakened she had only aged into her early teens, but she'd developed superhuman abilities.

grew up, moved away, met a dude, fell in love, then accidentally killed him with her powers. so yeah that kinda torments her still to this day. well, when she still remembered it anyway.

got recruited into hydra who she was led to believe were the good guys, had her memories suppressed, was told the high evolutionary basically a "god" figure, idek evolved her from a spider into a human woman, had an agent pretend to fall in love with her, etc etc. basically got gaslit and brainwashed into becoming a high ranking member until she was put out on a field assignment and told to assassinate nick fury. during the mission he told her what hydra really was and she dropped their asses.

got her memories back from mordred the mystic, then lived in a shitty apartment in london for a while. ended up breaking into a convenience store across the street at one point to get some food, but got noticed by shield agent jerry hunt who pretty much hounded her until she dyed her hair and created a secret identity to hide from him

did the hero thing for a while, moved to l.a., dated jerry, became a bounty hunter, moved to san francisco, became a p.i., superhero'd some more, met carol danvers 😍

went on a mission to finally take down longtime archenemy morgan le fay, and did so, but not before some morgan did some magic shit and separated her soul from her body ?? so she goes to the sorcerer magnus and has him cast a spell to make everyone who ever met her forget she existed.

not long later she was found and revived by two hero pals, breaking the spell, but she was left comatose. dr strange gets involved, abra cadabra, jess ain't a cadava'. but she is however, powerless.

continued working as a p.i. until an encounter with the new spider-woman mattie franklin somehow restored her powers, which came back slowly and were very unstable. meets jessica jones, accidentally zaps tf out of her, then works with her to save the new spider-woman.

eventually struck a deal with hydra to spy within shield so she could get her powers back but the skrull queen veranke was behind it and manipulating her so she could learn to perfectly impersonate jessica. jess ended up held captive for two years aboard a skrull spaceship while veranke took her place.

she and the rest of the captives got saved but because of the havoc veranke wreaked, she didn't exactly receive a warm welcome back.

spent some time rebuilding her reputation until she was invited to join the avengers (for avengers 1 in the mcu, let's say). they did some good work and she eventually fell for clint/hawkeye. they dated a while but things went sideways when he cheated on her (but obvs that's subject to change depending on who picks him up, just leaving that in for now bc it seems kinda noteworthy).

skipping comic spider-verse stuff bc how does that work with the rp, idek.

left the avengers after that and mostly stayed out of their business so she wasn't around for ultron or civil war and instead got back to her roots with some good ol fashioned p.i. work. may have crossed paths with the defenders and other street level heroes during this period.  

then of course, came the snap. jess was one of the ones that vanished. using this instead of her death during secret wars in the comics. when everyone came back she joined all the others to fight thanos and damn right she was part of that moment with all the female heroes like she should have fucking been irl.

when things settled down after y'know, dying, she realized that she wanted to be a mother and raise a child, and almost never got that chance. instead of waiting, she got herself artificially inseminated. which was good too tbh because like, look at her luck with men and imagine getting stuck in one of those relationships she'd been in so far. way better off doing it on her own smh

got invited to an alpha flight maternity ward by her captain marvel but when she went there it ended up getting overrun by skrulls and being super fucking pregnant she called carol for help, but the maternity ward was apparently in a black hole?? bc ofc it was lol. so jess protected all the women there, had an emergency c-section to give birth to her son gerry, then popped right off the table to finish kicking skrull ass. carol got there just in time for jess to collapse into her arms after the fight. headcanon — there was always a crush there but this was the moment jess fell hard.

had a liiittle teensy falling out with carol tho so she ended up kissing roger gocking/porcupine right in front of her during a battle that ended up repairing their friendship. then she went on to have a party announcing she and roger were dating but lbr she did most of this sub/consciously hoping to get a rise out of carol. but her spider-baby ended up crawling out a window and roger was the one to find and save him and there were some actual feelings there too, so. complicated. she kind of distanced herself from everything else to focus on p.i. work and raising her son.

not much later, jess realized her radiation immunity was gone and her powers were killing her, so she had roger take gerry to an upstate farm in case her condition could potentially harm her son, then set out on the search for a cure. that search of course, leading her to limbo city, nevada.

upon her arrival however, her memories quickly started to fade and by the time she woke up the next morning she had no specific recollection of memories. just innate and instinctive knowledge like her emotions toward people she was familiar with, emotional trauma that manifests mostly in her dreams, maternal instincts/yearning, her abilities both physical and learned, her interests and likes/dislikes, etc. things that come naturally to her, for the most part.

interestingly though, the town’s magic seems to have cured her??

gonna say she speaks english, romanian, german, hungarian, symkarian, russian, bulgarian, polish and spanish fluently, and knows a bit about a number of other languages.

incredibly intelligent, she is after all the daughter of a genius, raised among scientists conducting research, and her knowledge/intelligence was only maximized by her stasis education tapes.

exudes a high concentration of pheromones that can attract or repulse people, to put it simply. and ignore the original heteronormative connotations bc women aren't typically the ones she wants to repulse, and men arent always the ones she wants to attract. it's difficult to control but she learned over the years. even now without her memories she has innate control over it, but if she manages to work up a sweat (which isn't all that easy for her tbh) or misses a shower or two, well… it's gonna kick in.

she probably can't do it anymore in limbo because she can't remember how, but with her pheromones she learned to control them so well she was able to elicit fear, anxiety, attraction, hatred, pleasure, etc. and even used them to convince the hulk to make her a sandwich once.

fucking loves butter. she's been known to eat the stuff straight up. and a lot of it. lucky thing she has a spider-metabolism.

hc: she loves making puns, especially spider related ones. she also likes to annoy her spider-friends by spider-throwing the word spider in front of everything though it's obviously a joke, unlike in her cartoon where im pretty sure she was dead serious lol

hates rats. so much. she will tear down a whole skrull army but if one shapeshifts into a rat it's over okay, she already lost.

allergic to flerkens. which is great for visiting her bestie/crush, and her pet flerken chewie.

quARTine day twenty-eight: colossal (prompt list)

Jerry sticks his head out the window, sucking in a deep breath of fresh air. He blinks. Ducking back inside, he yells to Lani, “Hey, what are we going to do about the demon monarch rising from their thousand-year slumber in our backyard?”

“A thousand millennia,” she corrects, eyes glowing a pale blue as she levitates a foot off the floor of the cottage. “And that’s a quick power nap for this species.”

He peers back out. “Yeah, well, they’re coming closer.”

“LANI OF THE EARTH! SHE-WHO-SHIFTS-IN-TRICKS! COME OUT AND FACE ME!” The monarch’s last thundering word builds to a roar, shaking the earth as the huge demon stomps closer to the hill. The pigeons in the rafters don’t stir.

Lani’s eyes dim, and she zips over to the window. “Knows my actual name do they?” Before Jerry can stop her, she climbs out onto the sill and yells back, “It’s called transgender, dimwit!”

Jerry doubts the demon, stepping over a mountain range and irritably waving away the clouds around their head, actually heard that, but six blazing orange eyes narrow on Lani still dangling out the window, and they let out another sky-shattering bellow.

A bang of a door behind them. “Why noise?” Cindy grumbles, rubbing at zir face as ze stumbles into the main room. “What’s the—” zir jaw pops as ze lets out a huge yawn. “What’s all the—”

“Cindy, put on your stretchy pants!” Lani announces. “I’m upgrading your contract to fighting demons for us!”

“Just one, really,” Jerry tells zir.

Ze looks over their heads out the window. Ze hums non-committedly. “I haven’t saved up anything.”

Jerry goes to the cabinets to dig out zir high-vitamin high-calorie high-sugar high-protein high-calcium high-fat high-mineral high-everything-else nutrient bars. He takes out over half zir stash; ze’ll need a lot for that goliath.

“You’ll do fine,” Lani says airily, finally hopping down from the window to cross the floor to her bookshelves overflowing with ancient tomes and cursed scrolls, her levitation spell apparently worn off.

Cindy plops down onto a stool and starts ripping wrappers off their bars.

“You want me to call my dragon?” Jerry asks zir. “You know, fly around their head, distract them while you take them out.”

Ze shakes zir head, devouring the bars at a fearsome rate.

Jerry keeps watch at the window while ze finishes, frowning as a small army tromps out of a castle in the distance to face the demon monarch, horns blaring and armor glinting in the early morning sunlight. The monarch steps on them without notice, hundreds flattened in an instant, and continues on. Gold-black light fizzes and sparks around the demon’s body as they begin a war chant, bolts of the demonic energy striking and destroying trees and buildings at random as they pass.

Cindy brushes past him on zir way to the front door, one last bar clenched in zir teeth as ze steps into zir boots and laces them. “Why does—” ze swallows the bar. “Why does she always tell me to ‘put on stretchy pants’ when she wants me to fight something?”

“Probably a reference to a fictional superhero back on earth,” Jerry says. “He has a power similar to yours, I guess.”

Ze hums in interest. “He ate a magic bean?”

“No, radiation poisoning I think? Some sort of scientist. But he grows big and his clothes rip, except for his pants.”

Ze laughs at that, straightening and stomping around a bit as ze always does in boots. “If his pants stretch, why not make the rest of his clothes?”

“Over-sexualization of an unhealthy skinny-muscular body ideal I guess. But green.”

“Hmmm. Should’ve eaten a magic bean instead.”

“Yeah. Hey, good luck out there.”

Ze flashes him a quick grin. “Don’t worry, all my clothes stretch.” Ze opens the door and clomps out. Lani gets up and joins Jerry at the window to watch zir stride down the hill toward the demon monarch. Unlike the army, the demon does notice zir, and apparently sees that Cindy isn’t the one they challenged.

“PUNY MORTAL,” they snarl, stretching a huge finger crackling with energy toward zir, “SEND OUT YOUR COWARDLY COMPANION UNLESS YOU WISH TO PERISH AS A SLUG UNDERNEATH A HEEL.” 

“Well within my right as boss to send out my employee to destroy a being of the underworld,” Lani mutters. “What’s this ‘cowardly’? ‘Companion’? Please. It’s not like I’m sending you out there, dearest baby brother.”

When Cindy doesn’t retreat, the demon monarch growls and starts to lean down with finger and thumb poised as if to flick away a bug. “LET THIS BE AS A WARNING TO YOUR SO-CALLED FRIEND.”

“And here we go.” Lani grins.

The demon monarch doesn’t have to reach as far as they originally thought. Halfway down, Cindy suddenly grows, shooting from zir usual five foot ten to reach the demon’s abdomen. Ze catches the shocked demon’s fist, ignoring the gold-black light racing down zir arm, and flings them over zir shoulder to slam them to the ground on their back. The BOOM of the impact ripples across the land, sending a judder up Jerry’s bones and waking up the pigeons, who begin to coo and flutter in complaint.

Lani wanders back to her books and Jerry settles onto the windowsill to watch Cindy smash zir oversized fist into the demon monarch’s face repeatedly. He has to admit, it’s nice not to have to do anything this time.

Then he sees the horde of smaller demons swarming up the hill towards the cottage. Those were not there a moment ago.

“Uh. Lani?”

“Hmm?”

He points, though she doesn’t look up. “More demons.”

“Oh you just noticed? Yeah those are for you.”

He huffs. “Your words: ‘it’s not like I’m sending you out there, dearest baby brother’.”

She gestures impatiently. “Out there meaning the big scary demon, not the little ones. Babies for a baby. You’re welcome.”

He sighs loudly but fetches his sword. And since his sister’s decided not to help, he goes to the cabinets again. Not for any of Cindy’s food, but his own personal stash. He takes a bar of Mx. Boneweaver’s Soul-Scarringly Rich Dark Chocolate™ walks out to meet the horde. If two colossal beings brawling outside didn’t provide enough viewing pleasure for Lani and the pigeons, he can provide one more.

Monsters of the Underground

Sans: SeerTale Sans(about 8) is a shorter(3'5") and fluffier Sans.  His eyes are blue(left) and red(right). He wears a black t-shirt and keeps a gray non-zip sweatshirt tied around his waist in case he gets cold in the snow.  His boots are navy blue and he wears khaki shorts. He loves his brother, Papyrus, though he gets nervous around those bigger than him unless he knows them. This includes Asgore whenever he visits with his dad.  Despite everything, Little Scientist is often the smartest, sometimes smarter than his father, and likes to dress up in a lab coat and pretend to be a scientist when at the Lab with Gaster. This gives him the nickname, "Little Scientist."

Papyrus: SeerTale Papyrus(about 7½) is tall and lanky, a few inches taller(becoming 3'8") than Sans.  His eyes are yellow(left) and red(right). He finds shirts to be annoying sometimes and you can often find him running around with no shirt on, though his usual shirt is white.  He rarely wears sweatshirts but wears salmon boots and light blue jeans. He is quite outgoing and likes to talk to strangers, often helping Sans open up to certain people. He'd do anything for his older brother and wants to, for some odd reason, be a pirate(?) when he grows up, so he is often called, "Young Pirate" or "Papyrite" because Sans tried making a pun with it.  He'll sometimes carry around a fake plastic sword and, when he feels like playing, will point it at something and yell at the top of his nonexistent lungs, "Drop and give me your booty!"(still, ?) This confuses strangers but Sans usually answers the call and pretends to be a scientist that Papyrus captured to track down the buried treasure.

Gaster: SeerTale Gaster(6') is still the Royal Scientists, though he has not fallen into the core yet.  When he is at work, he is decked with a suit under a lab coat in case he needs to take it off for something professional.  At home, he wears casual black sweatpants and a blue hoodie that will later be given to Sans. His eyes are purple(left) and orange(right), causing Sans to often stand to Gaster's left and Papyrus to the right.  His skull has not cracked yet either, though he made the holes in his palms diamonds instead of circles(for effect, as he claims). He is reserved but protective and trustworthy. When he goes to work, he often leaves his kids to be watched by Grillby, though he will sometimes take Sans to work with him when Sans is feeling a bit blue or green.

Grillby: SeerTale Grillby(5'9") is a flame monster who runs a restaurant in Snowdin town.  He likes casual clothes, usually being found with an assortment of hoodies and jeans.  His fire fades from red to blue(top to bottom, not stripes), but doesn't seem like something special unless you're new(there are a lot of colorful things and any relatives that he has are about the same: fading from one color to another).  He is kind and will do anything for anyone, including pay Sans and Papyrus to have them run around and take orders, if only to keep them distracted so they don't break things. If something bad were to happen, you can see him in front of everyone with a weapon he never really wants to take out again.  His armor is sitting on a rack somewhere in his home. Both his armor and his weapon are made to have his fire curl around them and prevent people from hurting him as easily(only his magic fire is dangerous), though he never wears his armor these days.

Asgore: SeerTale Asgore(7'5") is the king of the underground.  His armor is purple and said to be a dyed diamond. His tridents glow indigo and he keeps the crown crest on his chest in black, sticking out against his light blue cape and clothing.  He is upset with humans most of the time after they killed his children, Chara and Asriel, but he struggles to keep a grudge sometimes, more focused on killing humans only when one falls.  When there is no human, he is more focused on keeping all of the monsters safe and some science projects that his science team is working on, including artificial souls and bodies. The grudge with humans changes when he finds out about Marintha being a Soul Seer, letting her live in his castle and guide children who fall.  He promises not to hurt them while they look for other ways to break the barrier.

Toriel: SeerTale Toriel(7') is the goat mom of the underground.  She wears the royal robes(blue with a black crest on the front) no matter where she is.  Often being distressed when the two most recent humans leave without her knowledge, she does her best to keep up on whether or not Asgore has claimed the two souls.  She eventually goes back to the castle when she finds he let Maritha live in the castle to guide children and he promises not to harm them. After that, she works alongside Marintha, often visiting the ruins to get any fallen children while Marintha guides them to different spots.

Muffet: Seertale Muffet usually wears a white to pink fade silk dress(spider silk to be exact) and doesn't seem as intent on killing humans for being "stingy with their money".  She still runs a cafe but will only attack if you tick off her friend, Grillby, or attempt to hurt someone. You can donate often in your time in the underground and the spiders will deliver treats and food to you for free in battles if you happen to be in one.  She is kind and a wonderful cook, often working with Grillby to sell treats and food, thanks to complaints from numerous humans about her only selling desserts. Unlike in UnderTale, She does not sell a spider doughnut for 9999 gold.

Undyne: SeerTale Undyne is much more peaceful in this world, though still able to duplex a boulder.  She doesn't wear her armor as often, finding herself able to defend easier with just her spears.  She wears a red tank top and leggings. The royal crest is on the shoulder of her armor to mark her as a royal guard.  She may be aggressive towards humans but, once she finds out Marintha is a Soul Seer, she changes to protect any humans from those like Elinada.  Being kind to almost all monsters(except Jerry) and protective over everyone she cares about, she will throw herself in front of Grillby, if Grillby happens to be there.  Her spears remain blue to remind her of Waterfall, the spot she likes most.

Alphys: SeerTale Alphys is quite smart and likes to help teach Sans about certain things.  Her scales fade from yellow to orange(top to bottom) and she is usually adorned with a lab coat, though if she wants something else, she will wear a nice looking dress.  In SeerTale, she is more confident, being capable of getting rid of her stutter without much of a problem. She still has a crush on Undyne and loses some confidence when talking to her, but eventually gains enough confidence to successfully flirt with her.

Mettaton: SeerTale Mettaton is the rectangle he is, just changing his board to be more colorful.  He finds little sympathy for Marintha until he finds out from a broadcast by Asgore that she is a Royal Seer.

Elinada: Elinada(16 years, 4’7”) is a murderous human who was pulled down into the underground by Maritha.  She was the one that pushed Marintha into the underground. She knows what the humans have done to the monsters and has the sense to kill anyone and everyone who isn't a monster.  She has pretty dark brown hair, with practically black eyes, and what was naturally tan skin that got pale from the underground. A dark hoodie was pretty established, and she has light denim jeans. Wears grey and white sneakers.  She knows that Marintha is in the underground and attempts to hunt down and kill her, not knowing that she’s blind.

Marintha: Marintha(18 years, 5’) is the human who is pushed down into the underground and found to be a Soul Seer.  Her left hand was burned off when some boys pushed her into a fire(whether it was accidental or on purpose is unknown) and replaced with a cybernetic one.  Because of the fire, a scar from the burn goes halfway up her forearm and she doesn't really like being touched by Grillby due to him being a fire monster. She has blue eyes and brown hair and usually keeps the scar and hand a secret, hiding it with long sleeves and gloves or pockets until she decides to open up.  Her attire when she falls is a galaxy sweatshirt tied around her waist, dark blue jeans tucked into black and gray boots and a gray t-shirt. Once the armor is made for her, it is crafted to look like a galaxy when the light shines on it just right to express her ever-growing knowledge due to her being a seer. Its helmet is shaped to have wolf ears as if to help her blend in with monsters.  The chest piece has a blade-proof soul container for her soul to rest if she ever encounters a battle. This is so, if her body is not saveable, a monster can pick up her soul and they can put it into a new body, much like with Mettaton. The shoulders have spikes coming off them and her gauntlets are adorned with small barbs to cause more damage when punching someone, only if needed. The Royal Crest is adorned on the chest.  Everything else follows the main shape of her body but remains extremely flexible, allowing her to move quickly if she needs it. They tested her armor so it is gaster-blaster proof for a short period of time. Marintha is kind, even through her blindness, though she can sense which soul is who. This is how she properly avoids enemies unless she has guards with her. Once she becomes the Royal Seer, she guides the children Toriel bring around the castle, bringing them to different spots safely and making sure they don’t encounter Flowey, all waiting for the barrier to break so they can go home.

He tends to work all day, or all night so there are long periods when she is left home alone. When they are together, they do most everything together, especially home improvement projects or working in the garage 5. For now she is still a kitten, though she is very handy at fixing things or making something new with old items. Eventually she will be known as a very handy cat. 6. Her best friends use to be her brothers, Watson and Case, before being adopted. Now, well she is still figuring it out, though she is cloesest to Skimbleshanks and really liked old Gus. 7. Strawberries and Green Beans are her favorite foods. 8. She has her collar, brown leather with her address. Evemtually she will have a little tool pouch to hold her things in. 9. She really liked Tap and comtempory. She saw Jenny tap dance once, and heard that Skimble could tap and just fell in love with it. 10. She doesnt fear magic. She also doesnt fully understand what magic is. She see's Mistoffelees practice and thinks, so what? She can do the same thing with some wire and a power source. They have the occasional spat about magic vs mechanics. She is not willing to back down, even if he is older, but not taller. After she fully understands the difference, they still have arguments, but its less what are you talking about, and more I see you as a battery, so you shouldnt waste your energy on dumb things when I can do the same things you bonehead. Let me do this, you focus on the bigger stuff. For all their arguing, she does care about and value his opinion. 11. She is afraid that one day, her mom will come back and not know where she is.  She didnt know that typically parents dont leave their kittens as soon as they can. That their way of growing us wasnt typical. She doesnt regret the way she grew up. They didnt have parents, but there was a community of barn cats who took care of the triplets. Zeus, Carolina, Magenta and Old Pooky. They were their family. 12. She does believe in love, she just doesnt think she has been in love yet. 13. Personally? Not that she knows of. She knows they talk about it at the junk yard,  but she never heard of it before. Not at the farm anyways., unless they called it somehting else. 14. Treasure hunting/looking for stuff with Jerrie and Teazer. Also dancing. Fixing  and mending are great for her mind to delve into, but dancing is great for the body and soul. She wants to try ballet next. 15. A song about her? A song for her would probably speak of her work behind the stage, away from the spotlight. For all her work to help others backstage. This would be her time to take center stage, where she might get to show her work on her dancing. 16. Well she adores Skimbleshanks. He is the one she first met. The one who accompanied her and her human back home. Who came back to see her later and introduced her to the Jellices and the Junk Yard. Who is her father in everything but blood. She loves to hear Gus' stories of the stage and performances. Especially stories of behind the stage and curtain. She does love to play games with some of the others, like Admeteus and George. 17. She has a secret crush on Alonzo. She wont say anything about it though, because he seems to be in a relationship with Cassandra and is clearly older, so she knows nothing will happen between them. Also she doesnt know if it is a secret or anything,  but Tugger and Munkustrap both remind her of her brothers. Tugger's height, charm and fur, and Munku's determination and stripes. Put them together, give them Skimble's coloring and you have her brothers. It made her pause slightly when she discovered this. She isn’t sure what to do with this knowledge though, so she keeps it to herself. There is a picture of her and her brothers, in her human home, that Greg took the last time they went back to the farm for a visit. Her, sitting between two striped, fluffy, ginger toms who, like her, are getting bigger everyday.
