Girl... so, there was a development on this 🤣🤣 while the boys were out promoting the show he was...

Participating in a reality(?) dating show that could possibly be one of the most cringe-worth thing I've seen all year...

Apparently it's one of those vertical-minute things. Yikes all around man...

🍵time: I made my distaste for Jazz For Two quite known when it aired, but little did I know that there was some ill-lore behind it.

Despite the stupid (unspoken) rule that idols can't kiss in K-BLs Hangyeom and Jungha have been inseparable since the marketing rollout started, they have been pretty much the ones keeping the series alive until now. From magazine photoshoots to their own international events, they are always together and seem to genuinely like each other's company.

Meanwhile the main couple is seemingly over. Jinkwon (the adorable assistant from To My Star for those who don't know) was alone in the latest event, with Hangyeom and Jungha there beside him and doing what they could to not let him feel left out but it's not easy.

His partner? Playing football with friends.

Hogeun's behavior towards the show (and his partner) has come under scrutiny for a while now. From his disinterest attitude with the show to standoff-ish and cold posture towards Jinkwon, fans have pointed out that it looked as if he didn't even want to be in the show to begin with.

Then why did he do it? Fame most likely, he is not really an actor, but a insta-model, and K-BLs have become a door for bigger roles to up-and-coming actors, and despite what fans of the show might want you to believe Jazz For Two wasn't the breakout hit they paint it to be.

Eclipsed by Love For Love's Sake, shaky critical reception, and a secondary couple brimming with potential pretty much cemented the show's main couple fate. Could things had been different if he’d acted differently during the marketing blitz? Very possible, actors who deliver solid fan service may give their shows some saving grace (Jun & Jun was a disaster, but the actors' off-screen chemistry makes fans look back at the series fondly).

But Hogeun has made a valiant effort to keep his distance from the show and his partner — to the point of blurring Jinkwon from one photo he posted on social media.

Hopefully Jinkwon will have the same luck as Taemin, and will find a new BL partner that appreciates him in the future.
